The second half is relatively well written with twists and turns.
Cast: Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Srushti Dange, Thambi Ramaiah, Appu Kutty
Direction: Adhiroopan
Mumbai: Ace Bala's assistant Adhiroopan turned independent and wields the megaphone for �Mupparimanam�,
the script of which slightly deviates from the run-of- the -mill kind.
But you'd have to witness for yourself the extent to which the director conveys his vision.
It begins at a marriage hall where a stranger Kadhir (Shanthanu Bhagyaraj) kidnaps the bride
Anusha (Srushti Dange) at gunpoint after thrashing her relatives.
Even as Anusha�s dad and uncle chase him, a flashback opens which reveals how Kadhir
and Anusha were childhood friends in their native Pollachi and later became a pair when
the former�s family returns to their native.
Unfortunately, both the families don�t get along, as Kadhir�s dad who is a police officer
was responsible for Anu�s brother landing in jail for a murder he had committed.
Now, young Kadhir who was to leave for the US to pursue higher studies gives up his dreams
to be with Anusha.
But she goes to the city to join medical college.
Though they are in touch with each other initially, a twist in the tale takes place, which eventually
separates the lovers.
When Kadhir comes to know of the real culprit behind his predicament, he kidnaps Anusha
and what he does henceforth forms the rest of the second half.
Shanthanu has put up a good show and his hard work in a dual dimensional role is evident.
He scores to a large extent in the emotional scenes towards the climax.
Srushti�s character starts off as a clich�d Tamil film heroine type.
But thankfully, it offers some scope post interval and the actress manages to pull it
off!
Skanda as the film star and others like Thambi Ramaiah, Appu Kutty and Swaminathan appear
functional.
Though the film starts in a thrilling manner, it fizzles out and drags once the romantic
portions open up.
The second half is relatively well written with twists and turns.
The love track between the lead pair lacks depth and hence Shanthanu taking to drugs
is not really convincing.
A bit of intelligent writing would have helped.
GV Prakash�s songs are pleasant, and the Happy New Year song with several celebs shaking
their legs is visually good.
But the same cannot be said for the background score.
One wonders if it was GVPs.
Rasamathi�s camera work is well adept to the proceedings.

What I Eat in a Day | Healthy but Balanced - Duration: 8:09.
Good morning youtube and welcome back to my channel.
I hope you enjoy this full day of eating.
I'm starting my day with some coffee—just regular from my keurig.
I drink my coffee black; that's just how I like it, not because it's necessarily
healthier.
For my breakfast, I'm having about 3/4 cup of cottage cheese and then about a 1/3 cup
of this Bear Naked original cinnamon granola.
I like this granola because it's not too high in sugar and it does have 6 grams of
protein.
Along with that, I'm having 7 strawberries, just on the side.
Alright guys, so I had the opportunity to come home for lunch today.
It is awful weather outside, so I was just really in the mood for something warm uh,
you know to kind of get that comfort food feeling.
So, I decided to make two um, over easy eggs and I have two slices of wheat toast and then
I have just some left over broccoli from our dinner last night.
This is just simply boiled, no seasoning, no nothing.
And then I'm just going to put a little bit of pepper on my eggs.
Um, I'm not a huge salt person so I usually just use pepper for flavoring.
And then, finally, I'm going to put about probably a tablespoon of this earth balance
organic um spread, onto my toast.
It's kind of like a butter substitute uh, I have some problems with butter sometimes
so I use this.
And yeah, that's what we're working with for lunch today.
And then, of course, I have my bottle.
I already drank you know, about that much of it this morning and I'm gonna fill up
the rest of it and hopefully drink another one of those this afternoon.

Okay guys, so in the interest of full discloser, I just wanted to let you guys know that I
totally crushed my lunch, um, as you can see, there's like nothing left and um, I'm
still hungry um, I've just been feeling pretty like hungry today.
I have certain days where i'm really not that hungry, I don't eat that much and then
other days where I'm just like hungry hungry all day.
Um, so I try to listen to my body and you know, go with hunger cues.
So, that being said I am also kind of craving something sweet and if I do have like dessert,
I try to have it mid-day as opposed to having it at night like a lot of people do um, just
because it gives my body more time to burn it off during the day.
So, that being said, I am having these little um, oreo type cookie things.
They are I think just like a generic version of oreos.
Um and as you can see, I have them in this little pre-portioned bag.
These I think are called portion packs and I got them from Wegman's um, but I think a
lot of other grocery stores have them and they're just these little bags and they have
different measurements on them but I don't really use them.
I use them to separate out kind of serving sizes of things like cookies um, and chips
that I usually tend to over eat.
Um, so I would really really recommend these because if I just have like the whole package
of you know, like 20 oreos or whatever, I have you know, been known to eat like 6 at
a time.
Um, but I find that putting them in this little bag um, I'm not gonna go back and get a second
bag.
So, if I just take the bag and you know, walk away from the container then, um, I'm only
gonna eat these three and this is an appropriate serving size and it really is enough to satisfy
my craving and make me a little bit more full.
So, yes, this is definitely not the most healthy thing ever, but I'm a strong advocate of balance
and I think it's important to just listen to your body sometimes if it's telling you
it wants something sweet, um because then you're less likely to binge and you know,
I know myself and I know that doing portion control is major for me so that's why I highly
highly recommend those portion packs if that's something that you struggle with too.
So, I'm just going to enjoy these cookies.
What's up guys, I just got back from the gym and so I'm going to have one of these Quest
Bars. this one is s'mores flavor.
Um, I usually try to have protein after I work out.
Um, a lot of times I'll have a protein shake but like I said, today I'm just feeling a
little bit more hungry so I wanted something a little bit more solid, substantial so that's
why I'm going with a protein bar.
Protein bars definitely have more calories than protein shakes but you know, sometimes
it's just a better option for you.
So, as always, listen to your body, do what works for you.
So, I'm gonna eat this up and it's about 5'o'clock now and I will be having dinner later.

Alright guys so for dinner tonight, I am just cooking up some chicken breast that I cut
into smaller pieces so that it would cook faster and I marinated it with some of this
Goddess dressing from Trader Joe's.
Um, and I'm just putting it in a frying pan to cook it through.
Alright while my chicken is cooking, I prepared my salad.
Sorry if the chicken is a little loud in the background, but here I basically just have
some romaine lettuce, a little bit of already cooked quinoa that I had in the fridge.
Um, and then I cut up some baby carrots and sprinkled a few almonds on there as well.
Alright, so looks like my chicken is done, so I'm just going to take that and add it
to the top of my salad.
Then i am going to top this whole thing with a little bit of balsamic vinegar and then
some of this lemon flavored olive oil that I have.
I have a bunch of different flavored oils from this place.
Um, I believe it is in Frederick, MD.
It's like a little um, crafty town, but this one is Whole fruit lemon.
They are really really good.
My mom picked a bunch up for me and I absolutely love them.
So, yeah, I'm just gonna sprinkle that on here and that's gonna be my dinner.
Here is the finished product.
It's a nice healthy dinner, but has a lot of substance to it and will definitely keep
me full.
