Youtube daily how Mar 28 2017

Welcome, to the Riverside barbecue center.

One of the questions we've been asked is,

how do you do the million method? So,

we're going to show you. This is the ring

which is at the bottom of this Weber Smokey Mountain,

and we just simply put

the coals around the circle just keep

coming in and in, leave in the middle

bit open. Which I will show. There we go.

just start to simply putting them around

like this.

This is going to take a 4Kg bag of

Weber's briquettes, which are great!

This is going to give you up to about 8 hours to

10 hours cooking time. You then simply, by

using the lit and this would be lit

this chimney starter of fuel. You've now

got this middle centerpiece, you put the

you simply tip the lip holes in the

middle and what that will do is then

slowly burn out that way. So, the last bit

so you remember this is lit in the

middle. The apple chunk i'm using here

the big chunks of wood, one in the middle

and two either side. So, when the heat

spreads out, it will then catch these two

and they will start to smoke. Very

important not to use the chips, must

be chunks, because you want much slower,

because you're doing a much slower cook.

Thank you for listening, and see you soon.

Thank you.

Cómo envejecen LOS NIÑOS SUPERDOTADOS (How GIFTED CHILDREN age - Sub ENG) - Duration: 6:37.

Every parent thinks their child is gifted

If you google "How to know if my child is gifted" you'll get more than 2 million results

and if you look on parents social media, they'll have more than 2 million pictures of their "gifted" kids.

Here, sleeping like a genius. Here blinking like a genius.

Here with a genius string of snoth from nose to mouth

But what if I told you that an above average intelligence is not the best that could happen to your kid?

Join me today and learn with me how gifted children age.

I'm Arturo Arcos, this is biENvejecer. Let's begin

HOW GIFTED CHILDREN AGE

Let's be clear on something. We all are intelligent.

But some more than others, right?

No. We are all intelligent in unique ways.

There are different types of intelligence like the interpersonal, or the ability to relate to others,

or the bodily-kinesthetic which is the abilty to control our own body movements

We all have distincts types of intelligence developed in different grades,

which gives us a unique global intelligence

However, education today focuses solely in one type of intelligence: Logical-Mathematical

which only measures your capacity to solve concret problems like an equation or a reasoning test.

Kids with a highly developed logical-mathematical intelligence, are often called "gifted"

and it's commonly believe that they are more intelligent than the rest of the population.

So, from the get go, the concept is pretty flawed.

Still, let's use the traditional meaning of the term that says that a gifted child

is the one that has a very superior ability to solve problems, learn and think in an abstract way.

Do these kids exist? Yes. Are they special? Of course.

But the reality is that if we defined gifted children we could do it in three words:

Arrogant, Insecure and Stressed

Arrogant because they are thaught that they're not only different, but better.

and this elitist attitude may affect their social skills, because they learn from a very young age

that there's an "us" and a "them", which doesn't make you specially popular in the playground.

Insecure because there's always the fear of not being as smart as the other geniuses

which can make them extremly competitive

If you have such a superior intelligence that it's the one thing that makes you special,

woudln't you be afraid of losing it because... what's left?

And Stressed because adults around them create expectations that are impossible to reach

Yes, maybe they discover that diferential calculus is a piece of cake and super fun,

but if they're not allowed to be kids they'll end up hating their talent.

Which cancels all the fun of being gifted because they can't have a good time while being smart

and becomes a "punishment" they can't complain about because they're better than the rest.

What would you think of someone complaining because they have too much money?

And the irony of it all is that being smarter doesn't prepare them better for adult life.

It's been proved that kids and teens who graduate at the top of their groups

don't always get better jobs than the rest.

Want to know who do? Students with grades that are just "good"

because they are getting good enough grades, don't stress out

and have more time to develop their social skills, and those will help a lot in real life

Besides, when they grow up, gifted children lose what made them so special: their youth.

It's very impressive that a 6 year old can mentally multiply 4 digits numbers,

if a grown up does it. Meh, it's a good trick for parties, I guess.

Grown ups who were gifted childen often feel frustrated about entering a world where they're not special

And to a lot of them, taking that leap is very hard.

But, how is it to be a gifted elderly?

We know barely nothing about the subject because, if one good stereotype old age has

is that we assume that the elderly know about life so it's not a surprise if they're intelligent.

What we do know is that mental stimulation during youth creates something called Cognitive Reserve

which is a protective force against diseases like dementia.

It doesn't mean you won't get them, but they will appear later so it will take them longer to limit your life

Is this only for the gifted? No. It's for everyone.

We can all develop it with simple habits like reading a lot, and doing mental math exercises.

So, if you are the kind of parent that says:

My Pearly graduated kinderkarten at 5 and a half. Not at 6, at 5 and a half.

My Georgie can count up to 10. With help, but up to 10.

My Maximilian only kicks in prime numbers, look, 1!

you must understand that what we see as superior intelligence, a lot of times is just

society making us believe that kids are dumb, so of course you will be surprise when they show they're not.

And at the end of the day, what does even mean being gifted?

Depending on who you ask, percentages go from 0.1 to 10% of the population

and when the variabily of something is as high as one in one thousand and one in ten,

maybe we need to see in them an integral being with preferences and emotional necessities

and not just a superior intelligence

And just as we in biENvejecer think that elders should enjoy their old age,

we also think it's just as important to let children enjoy their childhood.

Hi! I'm Arturo from biENvejecer.

Do you use social media? We do! And we have exclusive content in every one of them

so follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and, of course, our YouTube channel

to learn more about everything related to aging

We have news, videos and very useful information for you who want to have a better aging

so join our biENvejecer net and let's age healthily together. Until next time.

🔴 LIVE: 5 INGREDIENT FAT BURNING TEA RECIPE | How To Make Fat Burning Tea DIY - Duration: 7:47.

5 ingredients 10 calories and it

takes only 2 minutes to make whats up

guys its Max Barry, owner of Max's Best

Bootcamp and today I'm going to show you

exactly how to make fat burning tea DIY at

home it's so simple and this is safe and

effective to drink every day so let's

get right into the fat burning tea recipe you guys now

as far as the base of this recipe it is

five ingredients the first ingredient is

actually water so I know you all have

that at home and then from there it's a

green tea base so I actually have this

awesome green tea I just went to Teavana

I haven't been there in a while this is

not a sponsored video but I got their

Emperor's clouds and mist if you guys

have ever been there chime in in the

comments below what your favorite tea is

there but this is just a really awesome

looking green tea it's like these little

pellets and it's so fragrant but if you

don't have whole leaf tape you can use

for tea bags so I've got a few tea bags

here if that's your style and that's

easier that's what you have use that for

tea bags and that's going to be the

recommended dose per day so we're going

to make this concentrated batch right

now i'm using the whole leaf from

teavana and we're going to fill this jar

right up all the way baby all the way

now we're going to probably leave this

tea in here I don't mind but it says to

actually brew it for two minutes and

then strain but we want all the benefits

from this baby this fat burning tea so

we're going to go ahead and leave it in

there plus it looks cool which is always

a plus now fat burning team as this is

steeping guys let's just talk about is

fat burning T is green tea a miracle and

there are so many health benefits to it

for fat loss specifically though it's

the polyphenol EGCG which is really what

the magic is behind the fat burning now

it's a powerful antioxidant it will

boost your metabolism and at increases the body's ability to

break down body fat so the EGCG is

really the key inside the green tea that

gives it the fat-burning properties now

there's actually a synergistic effect

that happens with the green tea and the

caffeine that's naturally that naturally

occurs in the green tea and so together

that synergy is really going to boost

them of metabolism and we're not talking

like your metabolism just going to

skyrocket but between two and five

percent is proven so every little bit

helps when we're on a fat loss plan and

caffeine also blunts the appetite so

therefore you may feel fuller longer and

or you won't feel hungry and therefore

possibly eat less calories the other

thing is the caffeine it's great pre

workout so if you're sipping on this I

want you to sip on this during the day

at work on breaks and then definitely

before your workouts caffeine has this

little extra heightens alertness but

also it allows us to work out at a

higher level and so the caffeine and

there is a bonus so this is steeping

this is actually looking really good

let's get into our next ingredient in

the five ingredient fat-burning t we

have the water the green tea and then

the next ingredient is ginger how

beautiful is this route right here and

so I've got a couple of slices here I'm

just going to dump that right in now if

you don't have the fresh fruit which

fresh is always best so put a couple of

slices in there you can use a teaspoon

of ground ginger that you have but if

it's like you know ten years old it's

not going to do anything for you except

for maybe add a little bit flavor so

fresh is always best guys now ginger is

a warming herb it actually has a

thermogenic effect and it's going to

raise our metabolism or metabolic rate

actually two to five percent through

that warming process so hey every little

bit counts right so we're going to let

that sit steep in there next ingredient

cinnamon now cinnamon I'm using these

fresh sticks we're going to drop these

right in there guys if you don't have

the fresh you're going to use a teaspoon

of the powder but again

fresh is always best and this is so

fragrant already it's amazing so we're

using the whole stick now cinnamon can

actually regulate your body's blood

sugar levels and when our blood sugar

levels are elevated we tend to store the

body fat and we hold on to it so it's

going to allow us to have regulate our

blood sugar level and get into more that

fat burning mode much easier the other

thing is it slows the passing of food

from our stomach to our intestines so

you're going to actually feel fuller

longer if you sip on this before your

meals so another added bonus right there

and you know again it's it's not going

to necessarily like burn calories like

foods don't burn calories necessarily

but if you feel fuller longer

theoretically you're going to eat less

at that meal and then at the end of the

day at the end of the week at the end of

the month you're in that deficit and

that's what really causes the fat loss

good now the last ingredient in this fat

burning tea is lemons and got a whole

bunch of lemons here stock up on lemons

guys use fresh forget that bottled

squeeze stuff I've got half a lemon

that's what I want you to use in this

recipe so I'm going to add that in there

ities I already pre squeezed ice closed

I don't not to say that but anyway and

we're putting in just four just to make

it look pretty we're adding in those

slices right in there so there is the

fat burning green tea right there you're

going to make this batch ahead of time

bring it to work with you sip on it

throughout the day it actually is really

delicious as far as sweeteners I'm not

adding any into that if you wanted to

stevia would be an okay option forget

the honey you're just adding calories a

lot of people ask me max you know what

about adding hunting I heard that's like

a miracle food too and I think it's

baloney guys you're just adding sugar

and we're on a fat loss plan any

calories that we can kind of reduce that

aren't doing much for us go ahead and

take those out so honey it's up to you

can have whatever sweetener you want but

we're looking to really up the fat

burning

create that daily deficit so every

calorie we add in should count and

honey's just not one of them so stevia

will be a good option there or just

hardcore like I did adding nothing to it

and then as far as will this tea

actually just just a real heart-to-heart

here guys if you're counting on this tea

to just melt body fat and you're sitting

on the couch after work and that's

pretty much your activity level it is

not going to help you so the best way

that this tea this fat burning tea is

going to serve you is in combination

with proper exercise plan eating clean

and overall caloric deficit and so this

tea will help you with that absolutely

for sure so anyway if you guys are in

the Danbury Connecticut area and you

want to come train with us at the boot

camp go ahead and fill out an

application at our website at maxsbestbootcamp.com

otherwise we would love to

see you guys here on the channel post

any of your comments or questions in the

comments section below we'd love to have

you subscribe if you haven't already be

sure to hit the thumbs up thank you for

tuning in have an awesome day!

How to Change Colors in Photoshop - Replace Colors in Photoshop - Duration: 4:25.

have you ever worked on a creative

project in adobe photoshop and all of a

sudden you've found yourself asking how

the heck do i change this color in my

file? well, you're in luck because in this

tutorial I'm going to show you how you

can change colors in adobe photoshop.

make sure to watch until the very end

where I tell you how you can grab my

free Adobe shortcuts cheat sheet to help

you streamline your design process. (intro music) hey

there i'm holly meyer, brand designer

and creative director behind Holly Meyer

Design. on this channel i share brand

tips and tutorials that empower online

business owners like yourself to

purposefully define, design, and develop

their brand so they can captivate their

dream audience and stand out in their

industry. if you don't already have adobe

photoshop, don't worry you can download a

free trial. I've added a direct link in

the description below this video so you

can try to photoshop out for yourself

completely free. so, you may find that you

want to change a color in Photoshop when

you're working with a flattened mock-up

image, you are creating products images

for your shop, or maybe you have a photo

on yourself and you want to change the

color of your shirt. I'm going to walk

you through how you can change colors

using the replace color feature in

Photoshop. so i have this hangtag mock-up

that I've already opened up in Photoshop

and I want to change this navy blue

color to a green color. to use the

replace color feature, navigate to image

in the top menu, hover over adjustments

and click on replace colors. which on my

computer is towards the end of the drop

down. a dialog box is going to appear. so

next you're going to click on the top

color square and use the eyedropper tool

to select the original color from your

file that you want to change. so I grabbed

the blue color. then you'll click ok. and

this

half of the dialog box you'll see the

word replacement and you can you use

these sliders to select your new color.

and you want to make sure that preview

is checked so you'll be able to see the

live changes in your file as you make

them. so I'm going to adjust the hue

slider to get that green color that I

want and I'm going to increase the

saturation just a tad and I think maybe

I want this a little bit darker. you can

also adjust the fuzziness slider. and

you'll see when I move this slider I get

a little bit more detail in the hang tag.

I think that looks good. your sliders

will likely end up looking different

than mine depending on what image and

color you decide to use. once you have

the new color looking the way you want,

click OK and you're good to go. if you

want to change your color again you'll

just go back to image adjustments > replace

color and you'll see that you can

adjust the hue slider again to get a

different color. i'm liking this purple

so I think maybe I will use this. and

there you have it! that covers it for how

to change colors in photoshop. now

I want to hear from you! what questions

about changing colors in Photoshop do

you have? leave a comment below and let

me know! are you ready to save tons of

time on your next project in adobe

Before Religion This Is How People Connected With Their Spirituality

By consciousreminder

The shaman is not merely a sick man, or a madman; he is a sick man who has healed

himself. Terence McKenna

Terence Kemp McKenna (November 16, 1946 April 3, 2000) was an American ethnobotanist, mystic,

psychonaut, lecturer, and author who spoke and wrote about a variety of subjects, including

psychedelic drugs, plant-based entheogens, shamanism, metaphysics, alchemy, language,

philosophy, culture, technology, and the theoretical origins of human consciousness.

He was called the Timothy Leary of the 90s, one of the leading authorities

on the ontological foundations of shamanism, and the intellectual voice of rave culture.

Shamanism is a spiritual practice found in cultures around the world from ancient times

up to the present day.

First and foremost, shamans practices are practical and adaptable.

These practices coexist over millennia with varying cultures, systems of government, and

organized religious practices.

Many formalized religions, from Buddhism to Christianity, came from ancient shamanic roots

and still bear the shamanic threads of deep connection to the divine in all things.

But shamanism itself is not a formalized system of beliefs or an ideology.

Rather, it is a group of activities and experiences shared by shamans in cultures around the world.

These practices are adaptable and coexist with different cultures, systems of government,

and organized religious practices.

In this gem of a video Terence Mckenna spends 15 minutes talking about The Spirit Of

Shamanism.

Because it is not an organized religion as such, but rather a spiritual practice,

shamanism cuts across all faiths and creeds, reaching deep levels of ancestral memory.

As a primal belief system, which precedes established religion, it has its own symbolism

and cosmology, inhabited by beings, gods, and totems, who display similar characteristics

although they appear in various forms, depending upon their places of origin. ~John Matthews,

The Celtic Shaman
