What is GOOD Wellbeing - Duration: 3:00.
Fatigue, loneliness, depression the highlights
of poor mental health. Psychology tells
us that we get stressed and distracted
and we're reminded of our weaknesses and
what's wrong with us, but what's good
about us and can we strive for more than
just being less miserable?
Positive Psychology looks at good side that we
seem to forget about and parts of human
nature which are good like skills
virtues, strengths and aims to
understand how we can thrive, flourish and
overall have a more fulfilling experience.
One major construct in Positive Psychology
is that of well-being
well-being contains mental and physical
health and is defined as the balance
between an individual's resource pool
and challenges faced. so it's not just
about how emotional we are, it's also
about adversity and the decision-making
process we passively or actively take part
in which determine how well we are. The
term mental health is commonly associated
with negative emotions such as; anger
fear and sadness, but we know that there
is more to being well than just how we're feeling
positive emotions; joy pleasure comfort
happiness and warmth, of course make us
feel better, but so too, does engagement
positive relationships, meaning and
accomplishment. At least these are the
five sources of well-being in Martin Seligman's
PERMA theory. Within each
pillar of well-being, there are a number of
individual research project and theories
created from evidence, unlike untested
anecdotally driven self-help.
One major part of positive emotions is to do with
recognizing the difference between
pleasure and enjoyment. Pleasure is all
about satisfying our needs by; eating
drinking, relaxing and getting rest.
Enjoyment on the other hand is all about
challenge and intellectual stimulation
Proffessor Seligman says that pleasure
makes us feel full, whereas meeting
enjoyable challenges makes us learn and grow.
Without the pursuit of challenges,
strength wither and the person becomes
at risk of depression. So when we do not
actively choose to match the resource we
to suitable challenges, an imbalance occurs.
SO, we have a role to play in our wellbeing
we are personally responsible for our well-being
AND we can influence others
so we have a responsibility for theirs too.
It's important to note here that this
area of psychology does not aim to and will
not solve everything
Learning to rebalance your life is a far
more complicated process than simply being
more active. So if you or somebody you
know is coping with mental health. Know
that it can be incredibly enduring and
we must honor and respect struggle.
For more information about the research that
has gone into positive psychology as
well as a more practical elements on
introducing positive psychology into
your own life

What is a mini lathe machine and how to use it for metalworking - ep 30 p1 - Roma Custom Bike - Duration: 11:53.
In this episode we'll learn the basics on how to use a lathe and we'll create a cup
for a gas tank from stock aluminum.
Hi folks, I'm Custom Cez for Roma Custom Bike and I'm back for another episode were we'll
explore how does a small home lathe work.
Then we'll make our first part with it: a crown style cup for the gas tank!
Before starting let me remind you that I have new shades, courtesy of WileyX.
These glasses are the same eyewear worn by the US Marines!
they are bullet proof as a matter of fact, my buddy Niel has just sent me one of the lenses they use for
the balistic testing.
This has been shot with a shot gun from a distance of 10 meters!
Can you imagine? if they are good for bullets, they are definitely good enough to protect
our eyes while riding or even in the shop!
Now, I recently bought this small lathe, it's not a Chinese toy but it was actually made
in Eastern Germany in the late 80's, when the wall was still up.
I figured it would be a good candidate for our purpose and most of what we'll see can
be applied to most home shop size machines.
In order to use a lathe we need to understand what it is and what are its basic parts
So, according to the definition, the fist area we should get familiar with is the tool post.
it's the place where we mount the cutting tools that we'll be using to shape the object.
In order to move the tool post along the x and y axis it needs to be mounted on two slides,
the cross slide
and the top slide.
Both are operated by the hand wheels.
The top slide is able to rotate around the vertical axis, allowing the operator to move
the cutting tool diagonally in relation to the axis of rotation of the piece.
The cross slides are planted onto the carriage, the main slide that moves parallel to the
objet for the entire length of the workable area.
This happens by rotating the main hand wheel which is attached to the lead screw.
Next we have the motor, the heart of the lathe, it is powered by the two switches in the front panel
allowing the operator to power it on and reverse the direction of the rotation.
On the left side we find the gears
They connect the rotary motion of the motor to the self centering chuck, the device that
allows us to clamp the work piece onto the lathe.
For automated operations, such as cutting threads, we can activate the feed handle.
This connects the motor to the lead screw, automatically moving the carriage and the
cutting tool along the work piece.
The direct relation between the piece rotation and the cutter motion allows us to create
accurate threads or, more simply, to work the piece evenly.
To modify the pitch of the thread, between metric and imperial for example, all we need
to do is check the gear table posted on the front of our machine.
Each pulley has a different number of teeth and by setting them up as specified on the table
you can obtain a predetermined carriage speed to achieve a specific thread pitch.
Last but not list we have the tailstock assembly, here we can mount an additional chuck
for drilling operations or a dead center, a stabilizing device used to minimize chatter
in longer work pieces.
Let me just take a second to thank you all for the support you demonstrate every day
by hitting the like button, by sharing our videos on your social networks and by subscribing
to our channel.
now you can click on the little bell to receive a notification when I publish a new video,
so you can see them as soon as they are out.
I also would like to invite you to visit our site www.romacustombike.com where you can find
our unique accessories and our t-shirts because nothing is better than posting in the real world.
Great, now that we have a somewhat superficial understanding of our tool we can start figuring
out how we are going to achieve our goal of making a crown shaped gas cup.
I should warn you that the lathe can be a ridiculously dangerous tool so take your precautions
before attempting to use one.
I decided to make my life a little easier and start off with an already made gas cup
that will serve as a base for our project, maybe one day I'll be able to make the entire
thing from scratch, but for now I'll be using this flush type cup I bought on ebay for 10
bucks or so.
All we need is the base part so we begin by removing the spring activated handle.
It should be a pretty simple task, but then the measly 10 bucks tag price reveals the
true value of the materials used to construct this item and we are forced to use a bit of
brute force to take it apart.
It should be noted that while Polsky's hands fear no sparks,
you should be using gloves do this type of jobs.
and remember, Polsky Rage is a Viking and Vikings feel no pain!!!
Once the pin was removed the handle came out easy and we are left with our precious threaded
base we'll use to support the crown.
This piece is not quite ready though, it needs a bit of clean up.
I want to remove the extra material in the inside that we no longer need and to do so we mount
it in the lathe's chuck.
Using a simple braced cutting tool, which we discovered at a later time
it's about the cheapest shit you can find, we begin removing material.
As you can see we had to change the mounting position of the cutting tool to reach the
piece without ruining the portions we want to keep.
Although these blue tools are pretty much crap, we still manage to remove a hefty amount
of material at a pretty good speed.
I have to tell you, this is very satisfying and in no time at all we are left with a clean
part, making as look like we already know what we are doing... nothing could be further
from the truth... but let's continue cause this, is where it gets tough! so let's take
a minute and ponder what we are going to do next.
We are going to take a piece of stock aluminum tube and reduce the circumference of the bottom
portion so that it will fit in the base piece we just modified.
Then, using the rotational properties of the top slide, we are going to shape the rest
of the cylinder at an angle.
Kind of like a shot glass...
Then we'll do the same to the inside.
Lastly we'll cut the shape of a crown and, if it all goes well, we'll have a perfect
little ornament for our gas tank.
But most important of all we'll have gotten some practice on this phenomenal tool, The Lathe
Here is our stock, right next to the cheapo cutters.
We decided to get creative, and a little lazy may I add
and use the rotation to cut the portion of stock that we'll be using
for the build using a traditional saw.
It ain't pretty but it worked...
Then, after measuring the inside diameter of the base and the outside of the stock,
we worked out how much material we had to remove.
Once we had all the necessary measurements we started with the fun part, the cutting!
Using our brazed tools we begin removing material,
you'll notice that Polsky is leaving some space before the marked line
we'll clean up that in the final pass.
It is easy to remove some extra material but once you go too far...
well, you have gone too far!
We keep removing stock just about half a millimeter per pass and once we are close to the target
size we start measuring to make sure we don't mess it up.
A quick test reveals that it fits just fine and we are now ready to go to the next step,
the outside tapering.
Now remember to click on the bell to get a notification of when the next episode will
be out, because that's when we'll continue this project.
We will work the cutter at an angle for the
outside and inside tapering
Then we'll draw the crown design and work it with the grinder and a file to reveal the
final product.
Well, our clock is running out, and I'm satisfied with what we did in this episode until now,
but what do you think?
Let me know by visiting my facebook page called RomaCustomBikeEng or by commenting right here
on youtube.
I'd like to remind you that along with subscribing to the channel.

What's The Deal With The First 100 Days, Anyway? | Ron's Office Hours | NPR - Duration: 2:11.
Today we're going to talk about the first 100 days.
So where does this 100 days idea come from?
Is there something in the constitution?
Is it some legal requirement? Absolutely not.
It's a measure of how quickly a president is getting something done.
And probably the place where this really got started was
with the period of time that it took for Napoleon
after he had fallen from power and been exiled to an island
off the coast of Italy and then escaped from that island and returned to France
and then gotten all the way to Paris and rallied his army to his side.
After all that had happened, there was a period of time where Napoleon once again ruled France.
And during that period of time Napoleon reorganized the government,
he re-energized the French people
and he reorganized, also, the French army.
But the idea of this period of time in which Napoleon accomplished all these remarkable things,
has more or less entered mythology as a magical period of achievement.
In the United States, the myth really centers on the 100 days at the very beginning of Franklin D. Roosevelt's four terms as president.
He was elected in 1932,
took office on March 4 in 1933,
and in the next 100 days, managed to pass much of the legislation that would become his legacy,
much of what would constitute the New Deal.
That 100 days then because the standard for each new president there after.
Now, for most presidents, it's nothing like what it was for Franklin Roosevelt
who had enormous majorities for his Democratic Party in the House and the Senate
and had the country united behind him.
And it's most important to bear in mind,
it's about nothing other than tradition and custom and the kind of thing that the media,
including us, love to talk about.
It's something as much in our imagination as anything else.
So, I'm Ron Elving and thanks for coming to my office hours.

You need never again doubt your future—or mankind's.
The world has believed a false gospel for 2,000 years.
It has generally supposed that Jesus Christ is the gospel rather than the Messenger of
it.
The gospel message—its very centerpiece—is not about Jesus.
By focusing on Him—the Messenger—deceivers have been able to successfully suppress and
cover up the Message He brought!
The vital knowledge of how man could have solved his problems and understood God's
Supreme Purpose has been withheld, keeping the world in darkness.
Thus man does not know what he is or his reason for being.
He does not know the way to abundance, peace, happiness and all the good things of life.
The gospel would have shown man the solution to his most insoluble problems.
And yet, except for the apostle John, all the original apostles were martyred—think
of it, put to death—for teaching the truth of God's incredible purpose.
Jesus was crucified because people did not want to hear His Message!
The true gospel reveals crucial knowledge.
It contains a dimension of understanding that cannot be discovered by scientific inquiry.
Every supposed "great religion" has helped suppress the gospel.
Their theologians neither comprehend nor are willing to teach it.
Both Jesus and the apostles plainly preached the gospel!
Jesus commanded in Mark 1:15, "Repent you, and believe the gospel."
But exactly what is it that we—you—are to believe?
Just what is the true gospel?
Do you know?
Be careful of assumptions.
For instance, did Jesus teach the same gospel that Paul preached to the gentiles?
And what does the word gospel mean anyway?
The vast majority of professing Christians do not know the all-important answers to even
these most basic questions, and many others related to the gospel Jesus taught—the only
true one!
Jesus came as a first-century newscaster, bringing advance good news of staggering events
to occur just beyond the horizon, and all the bad news throughout today's world.
This climactic news involves you—and eventually every human being on Earth—personally!
Six new books on religion are published every day in America!
And there are over 2,000 forms of Christianity in the United States!
There has never been more confusion and disagreement about the answers to humanity's problems!
Troubles, woes, evils and human difficulties of every kind are multiplying.
World peace is more elusive than ever.
Why?
Why is there so much knowledge available to mankind, yet so much ignorance about life's
biggest questions?
All of this has everything to do with the gospel!
Revelation 12:9 reveals this: "The devil, Satan [it says] …deceives the whole world."
What a big statement!
If true, then deceit would certainly apply to the crucial matter of the correct knowledge
of the message Jesus brought!
Almost everyone believes the gospel is about the Person of Jesus Christ.
He plays an extremely important and central role to Christianity, but He is not the gospel.
The Bible shows that Jesus is preached in conjunction with the gospel.
Some proclaim a "gospel of salvation," others one about "grace."
Still others believe one about "miracles" or a "social gospel."
Yet others think of the "gospel of foods" [believe it or not] or "healing" or "faith"
or "tongues."
And there are some who merely think of "gospel music."
These manmade ideas all ignore the Bible!
Now more of Mark's account: "After that John [the Baptist] was put in prison, Jesus
came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of [here it is] the kingdom of God."
This is the gospel Jesus preached.
It was in this context that He said, "Repent you, and believe the gospel."
Which gospel?…of the "kingdom of God."
Mark 1:1 states, "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ."
The gospel of Jesus Christ was about the kingdom of God—not something else!
One must believe—and understand—that gospel—not any humanly-devised counterfeit or substitute.
This subject is so important that God inspired the apostle Paul to warn the Galatians then
and us now.
Notice: "I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of
Christ unto another gospel…[and] there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the
gospel of Christ.
[Read that again.
Christ's message can be perverted!]
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which
we [meaning the apostles] have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel [he repeats]
unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed."
This is a strong warning to those who will heed!
Tragically, only a few have.
A little later, Paul stressed that the "truth of the gospel might continue with you [He
was speaking to the Galatians]."
There is one true gospel—with all others false!
I didn't say that!
God did, through Jesus and Paul.
Although some assert Paul taught a different or additional gospel, it is plain he never did.
Ironically, God used Paul to warn against ever allowing such false teaching by pronouncing
a curse on any man—or even angel—who violates this command.
Remember, "Though we [even apostles]…preach any other gospel…let him be accursed."
A powerful warning!
Paul explained that God's ministers were entrusted by God to preserve the truth of
the gospel.
Notice: "As we [apostles] were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even
so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which tries our hearts."
This is a responsibility not to be taken lightly.
True ministers must always teach what God commands—not what pleases men (including
Bible scholars).
That Paul taught a different or second gospel (either about Christ or some idea about "peace"
or "grace") is impossible.
He would literally have been pronouncing a curse on himself!
Did you know Jesus was foretold to bring the gospel?
In the Old Testament, He was prophesied to come as a messenger.
Let's read: "Behold, I will send My messenger [typed by John the Baptist], and he shall
prepare the way before Me [Christ]: and the Lord [Christ], whom you seek, shall suddenly
come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in."
Christ was the "messenger" of the covenant, including the gospel—not the message itself.
Now compare Malachi with another passage: "The law and the prophets were until John
[the Baptist]: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man [who chooses]
presses into it."
Remember Mark.
Jesus there preached the "kingdom of God," and called it the gospel.
Gospel is an old English word meaning "god spell" or good news.
So is kingdom, which simply means "government."
Therefore, it is most accurate to say Christ preached "the good news of the government
of God."
You can know the who, what, where, when, why, and how of this good news—and how it relates
to the Bible's very greatest prophecy.
We do not have time for all of that now.
God's kingdom is the dominant theme of not only the New Testament, but of the whole Bible.
Yet, incredibly, most know little or nothing of it because this world's ministers are
oblivious to this gospel, and never preach it.
Therefore, virtually the whole world stands in complete ignorance of the single greatest
truth in God's Word!
The word gospel is found over 100 times in the Bible.
Sometimes it's alone, and sometimes "of the kingdom" follows it.
Other times, it includes "kingdom of God," or the equivalent "kingdom of heaven."
Notice of heaven, not in heaven.
There is a big difference.
Just as kingdom of God means God's kingdom—not the kingdom in God—the kingdom of heaven
is heaven's kingdom.
Grasp this crucial point!
In the New Testament, "kingdom" is found 27 times, "kingdom of God" 75 times, and
"kingdom of heaven" 34.
These are all the same.
Paul preached God's kingdom to the Gentiles.
But he certainly did not neglect Christ's role in the salvation process.
He said, "I have gone preaching the kingdom of God…repentance toward God, and faith
toward our Lord Jesus Christ."
Acts 19:8 establishes further which gospel Paul preached: "He went into the synagogue,
and spoke boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning
the kingdom of God."
Paul's message was always the same.
He preached, taught and referred to the kingdom of God—one gospel—to both Jew and Gentile.
The book of Acts offers this last picture of his life: "Paul dwelt two whole years
in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of
God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ."
Luke, who recorded Acts, differentiates between preaching the kingdom and about Jesus Christ!
While both are vitally important, they are separate subjects!
The deacon Philip also preached both, notice: "When they believed Philip…concerning
the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women."
Philip differentiated between God's kingdom and Christ.
The messenger is not the message.
These Samaritans were baptized only after "they believed"—meaning the right message,
not some human idea.
Also, Jesus' name was taught as an all-important, but additional, understanding.
Jesus is not the gospel.
But He stands directly alongside it, and, as the future Head of God's kingdom on Earth
under the Father, He will rule all nations—with the saints beside Him!—after His Return.
Do not lose sight of this!
Paul further distinguishes between the gospel and Jesus' person in this warning: "If
he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached…or another gospel which
you have not accepted, you might well bear with him [meaning you would follow him]."
Paul wanted the Corinthians to hold to what he taught.
The point is that true Christians distinguish between the teaching of a false Jesus and
teaching about a false gospel.
These are two different errors.
Some get confused when reading I Corinthians 15 thinking Paul contradicts himself by stating
that "the gospel…[referenced in verse 1, is] how that Christ died for our sins according
to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day."
Careful reading makes clear the word "gospel" in verse 1 is not connected to Christ's
death for our sins, and His burial, verses 3 and 4.
When correctly understood, rather than saying Jesus is the gospel—which would contradict
all other passages on the subject—I Corinthians 15 confirms the opposite, and supports all
the verses we have seen and many more.
Since Jesus preached "repent and believe the gospel," it should now be clear why.
His role as Savior forgiving sins we have repented of must be preached alongside God's
kingdom.
No one can enter it and rule with Christ unless he understands and accepts that "Christ
died for our sins"—and that person has repented of his sins.
What evidence is there that other New Testament writers preached the same message?
A lot!
Notice the apostle Peter: "An entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the
everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
Now James: "Has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of
the kingdom which He has promised to them that love Him?"
Matthew three times mentions "gospel of the kingdom."
Here's one: "Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues,
and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among
the people."
In most of His parables, Jesus taught the basics of God's kingdom.
Think.
Matthew alone makes over 50 references to it.
Luke records what Jesus commissioned His disciples to preach: "He called His twelve disciples
together...and He sent them to preach the kingdom of God."
Soon after, He sent seventy more, and they also spoke of the "kingdom of God."
Acts contains an extraordinary passage about God's kingdom.
Peter is speaking: "Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted
out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; and He shall
send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until
the times of restitution [or restoring] of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth
of all His holy prophets since the world began."
Notice Peter refers to Christ's Coming as "the presence of the Lord," meaning He
is now back here on Earth at that time.
He explains God "shall send Jesus Christ," and describes God's kingdom as the "restitution
of all things."
Peter stated that this "restitution" (Christ restoring His kingdom to Israel first) is
something "God has spoken by the mouth of all His Holy Prophets—again—since the
world began."
This is stunning!
Did God actually use every prophet to announce His kingdom?
Bible scholars and religionists ignore this—and some outright reject it without examination.
Let's review just a few Old Testament examples, beginning before the flood.
The apostle Jude, Jesus' brother, recorded, "Enoch [Noah's great grandfather who lived
before the Flood]…prophesied…saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
to execute judgment upon all."
These verses plainly refer to Christ coming to establish a world-ruling government under
Himself and the saints—with a relative few, only "ten thousands."
Read it again.
The Bible calls Enoch a "preacher of righteousness."
Starting with Abel, there were seven others, with their lives spanning the entire period
from Adam to the Flood.
All these spoke the same message.
Remember, Peter said, "…since the world began."
Is there evidence the gospel was preached soon after the Flood?
In Genesis, God told Abraham, "In you shall all families of the earth be blessed."
This verse is referenced in Galatians: "In you shall all nations be blessed" and it
there says the gospel was "preached before unto Abraham."
This is fascinating knowledge!
Not only did Abraham have the gospel preached to him (probably by Melchizedek), but Genesis
was written by Moses!
Now ask: how could all nations be blessed unless Christ establishes His government on
Earth—where the nations are? Moses, the first man to lead Israel, as both
prophet and judge, taught the gospel to Israel in the wilderness.
Read Numbers 24:17-19.
Acts 3:24 mentions Samuel the prophet as preaching the gospel: "Yes, and all the prophets from
Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of
these days."
These powerful statements cannot be glossed over.
"All God's prophets!…as many as have spoken!…foretold of these days!"
Believe this!
Next, King David preached God's kingdom!
Let's see: "You [God] shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations
upon earth [not heaven!]."
This obviously refers to His coming super government.
The prophet Isaiah recorded a longer statement: "Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son
is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called
Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of
David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with
justice from henceforth even forever."
This is so plain it needs no explanation!
Now the prophet Jeremiah: "The days come, says the Lord, that I will raise unto David
a Righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and
justice in the earth.
In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely [obviously, this is not
the case now]: and this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS."
Again, no explanation needed.
The prophet Ezekiel wrote this of Israel's descendants alive today: "I [God] will take
you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries [where they will soon
go into captivity], and will bring you into your own land."
The next ten verses describe a rebuilding and national prosperity only possible after
Christ's Return to Jerusalem.
They are unmistakably clear.
The prophet Daniel wrote: "The God of heaven [will] set up a kingdom, which shall never
be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in
pieces and consume all these kingdoms [of men], and…stand forever."
All those called the Latter Prophets spoke of the kingdom of God in one way or another.
You may wish to study them.
You will see God's plain words.
Remember, the phrase "the gospel of the kingdom of God" is not the only way to describe
God's coming government!
Peter was right!
"God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began…[of]
the restitution of all things."
One final big point.
It says, "God has spoken…"
The kingdom of God is a message from God, not any man.
And it should now be clear God speaks through whatever servant He is using—prophet, patriarch,
pastor, judge, deacon, preacher of righteousness, king or apostle!
God's servants always spoke the same message!
Everyone knows Jesus often spoke in parables.
In Matthew 13 alone, He presented seven—most very short.
Each illustrates aspects of the Kingdom, collectively painting a full picture.
Notice: "The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took,
and sowed in his field: which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown,
it is the greatest among herbs, and becomes a tree, so the birds of the air come and lodge
in the branches thereof."
The mustard seeds Jesus' audience was familiar with were extremely small—very hard to see.
This is why He called them the "least [meaning small in size] of all seeds."
God's Kingdom is akin to microscopic when it arrives!
It eventually grows into a world government, becoming the "greatest among herbs"—a
"tree"—but it does not start that way.
This parable is virtually never mentioned because nobody truly understands it.
The next parable confirms the Kingdom's small beginning: "The kingdom of heaven
is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole
was leavened."
The Greek word "hid" is egkrupto, meaning concealed in.
Think of the modern equivalent—encrypted.
Jesus says—literally—He is bringing an encrypted Kingdom.
It is initially hidden—initially concealed among the nations!—but it expands because
leaven always spreads.
Jesus underscores this in a third parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure
hid in a field; the which when a man has found, he hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells
all that he has, and buys that field."
"Hid" here comes from krupto, meaning "to conceal by covering."
Jesus' message is again made clear: God's Kingdom starts tiny, hidden—and covered.
One must go and find it!
(To learn more about how the Kingdom of God arrives, and this is a great unknown to everyone,
read How God's Kingdom Will Come — The Untold Story!)
In the Matthew 24 and 25 Olivet Prophecy, Jesus was asked about events that would be
the sign of His Second Coming and of "the end of the world [or age]."
He foretold certain trends and conditions that would occur first, then added, "This
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come."
The true gospel was foretold to be preached until "the end come."
This means someone will be preaching it now—in our present age—because the end—however
close—has not yet come.
The Restored Church of God is doing this!
Preaching the truth of the gospel to all nations was restored by Herbert W. Armstrong beginning
in 1934.
God used this man to reach hundreds of millions with this message throughout a 52-year ministry
that ended with his death in 1986.
Mr. Armstrong taught me the true gospel and trained me to be able to take this message
to the world.
Make no mistake!
Jesus Christ will soon return to Earth and establish His kingdom.
It will reign over the entire earth—ALL nations—and the resurrected saints—those
who have qualified to rule with Christ—will share this reign with Him.
In half an hour, you have learned more about the true gospel of the Bible than most begin
to know.
Take time to read Which Is the True Gospel?
You will be glad you did.
This extraordinary booklet makes plain the gospel Jesus taught.
Be sure to view other World To Come programs.
They are like nothing else you will hear.
The gospel is but one of many subjects in the Bible that have been badly misunderstood:
The Law of God, the origin of men's holidays, the ultimate future of mankind, salvation,
heaven, hell, the existence and nature of God, the identity of the lost ten tribes of
Israel, the truth about the devil, the purpose of the family, the Sabbath, real faith, proper
baptism, true conversion, financial laws—and so many other Bible topics are covered.
Here, on this program, you will hear the plain truth of these and many more subjects.
And you will hear prophecy made plain—the very biggest elements of it made easy to understand,
and in the light of world news.

What Chemists Do: Ted Germroth, Sr. Technology Fellow at Eastman - Duration: 2:26.
molecular scale, where the chemistry happens, and then
what happens because the chemistry happens,
at the use scale.
I'm leading a couple of technical teams,
so generally what I'll do is I'll go in and try to help
the team to explore and develop the new technology in that area.
I just received an ACS national award for 2016
for industrial chemistry, and in that talk I presented in
my symposium, I tried to emphasize that there's
a variety of challenges: technical challenges,
people challenges, and commercial challenges that you
face as an industrial scientist.
Tritan Copolyester has gotten such rapid market acceptance
because it has an unusual combination of properties.
It's extremely tough, very clear, you can put it in boiling
water, so it's temperature resistant beyond most of the
competitive materials. In addition to that, it's BPA free,
and that's driven some of the rapid market acceptance
of the material.
It has grown dramatically, from when we introduced the material,
We just anounced that we're going to have 300 million pounds
per year, and capacity to serve the market, and we have only
introduced the polymer seven years ago.
I think the most pleasurable thing I do as an industrial
chemist is I work at the molecular level.
I get to understand what happens with molecules at this
very very small scale.
We produce millions of pounds of material in some cases,
but it's still one molecule at a time.
The American Chemical Society improves lives through the
transforming power of chemistry.

young scientists by sharing this video, or share your own story

What's in My Vegan, Cruelty Free Makeup Bag - Duration: 25:26.
Hey there modern vegans and vegan curious.
It's Margaret.
And today I'm going to be sharing with you my makeup collection.
This video has been requested for some time,
and so by popular request, here it is!
So this is my makeup bag.
It's a fairly ample size.
I got it with my daughter at the kid's version of Lululemon,
which I can't remember the name of right now,
but they have a lot of cute little bags for kids there,
and she got the one in fuchsia, I bought this one in purple,
I don't know if they still sell them, but to me this is the perfect size for a makeup
bag.
Also, because I think it's designed for ballet and gymnastics and things like that,
this area up here that has the zip is designed for hair accessories and things like that.
So it's quite convenient. And then down below you have plenty of room for all your makeup
and stuff like that.
So I'm just going to take you through these items one by one,
and talk about how I use them.
I will not be putting on the makeup, because there are lots of people on YouTube who can
do that so much better than I can.
So, I'm just going to be talking about it today and telling you the products that I
use.
When it comes to brushes, I use the Sephora Pro Collection.
Almost all of them are synthetic, they usually say that they're synthetic on the brush now,
so it's fairly easy to tell if they're synthetic.
I don't buy Sephora's makeup - the Sephora brand makeup -
because it's not cruelty free or vegan,
but their pro-line of brushes is, and they're really good quality,
and I think that they'll last forever.
To me, unless you don't think you're going to be using a brush for very long,
and - I don't know - if you're somebody who likes to have a lot of brushes,
then maybe you don't need to buy very good quality.
But, for me, I'm very happy with brushes I can keep my whole life.
And I can definitely say that these brushes will last as long as I live.
So, this one I got back in highschool, I think.
It was when Sephora first opened or something like that, in Seattle.
So it is really, really old.
I've probably had this for 15 years or more. A really long time.
So, it's actually changed shape since Sephora - they have a new shape now,
but it's been a great brush. It was one of the first synthetic brushes I ever had.
I find it's absolutely perfect for certain eyeshadow applications, it's really nice for
that.
I use it for highlighting your nose and your brow bone and things like that, I really like
it for that,
And it's just a great brush.
I use this one, which is the #43, the Synthetic Complexion Powder Brush,
and actually, I don't even think this is from the Pro-line.
I think this is just their regular line,
and it's great, does its job, puts powder on your face. Fantastic.
This is their blush brush. And it is the Multi-textured
- again, I'm not sure if this is the pro-line or not -
but, yeah, great powder brush.
And I like the angle because I find it's easier to put on,
I don't know if everyone feels the same way,
but I've always liked angled brushes better.
So, this is the #54.
#75 is one of my favourites. This is the contour brush.
And I really love it, 'cause you can see the shape,
it's a nice little angle, again,
and I just find it really easy, if you want to add a little bit of blush in a contour-type
shape on your cheeks,
it's really great. Just easy to use, doesn't leave hair all over your face.
I don't know why I ever used brushes made out of animal hair,
because synthetic brushes are much better quality.
They'll last much longer.
They don't need nearly as "picky" care. They're just better brushes.
So, love that one.
And this one is kind of a smoky eyeshadow brush.
It's the #30, and again, this one is from the Pro Collection.
And it's just a nice little synthetic powder brush for your eyes.
It's really good for - I fairly deep-set eyes, and so,
I don't really use a lot of eyeshadow, I tend to just use a powder.
I'll show you guys in a second the powder that I just use as a base to my eyes,
and then I just use eyeliner.
I don't tend to put a whole lot of stuff on there,
because I find it moves around too much.
But if I do, I use this one.
For foundation and concealer, I use Tarte.
And I'm really fond of their Amazonian clay collection.
I use the Amazonian clay 12-hour foundation from Tarte for my foundation.
And this is a - I believe it is the fairly light neutral.
That seems to be the shade that I generally go with.
My skin is kind of - you know how you're supposed to test whether you're warm or cool based
on the colour of your veins?
Mine are neither green nor blue, so I'm kind of in the middle, so I go with neutral.
And I'm really happy with this. It's actually light enough for my skin,
which is fairly rare.
My skin is so pale that plenty of brands don't even make
- especially in Canada. I don't think this is as big a problem in the states,
they have more variety there,
but in Canada some of the brands are not light enough for my skin.
And so I'm happy that Tarte actually makes something white enough for me.
When it comes to concealer, I also use the Tarte -
this is the Maracuja, which is kind of silly, because maracuja is passion fruit,
I'm not sure exactly what passion fruit has to do with this product,
but, it's really good, it lasts a long time, it's a great concealer,
and it's their Maracuja Creaseless Concealer.
And it lasts a long time, has ice coverage,
covers up all the things that you want to cover up.
Big fan of this one.
And when it comes to powders,
I have been looking at things recently and making some changes.
And in a video I think that I made back in March of this year or something like that,
or May?
Sometime like that.
I made a video where I talked about this powder.
This is the "Smooth Operator" powder from Tarte.
And it is just kind of a white powder.
I liked it at the time. I love that it doesn't have a scent.
That's really important, especially since it gets all over your face.
And it also has this - I think it's such a fine consistency
that when you put it on, you have to be really careful to tap off the excess,
'cause it just feels like it's getting in your throat.
I don't know what it is, but I just - I don't like it.
So I will not be purchasing this again.
If you like a loose powder, then it's a good one in terms of just not having scent or anything,
but I'm not a fan.
And I don't really like loose powder in general anymore because of that kind of sense of getting
powder in your nose and stuff, so I just don't like it.
This is Pür Minerals "Balancing Act" powder,
and I just got this a couple of weeks ago and I love it.
it's much better than the other one,
in my opinion, because it's far more....the colour is more universal,
you can see that it almost looks like it would be too dark for my skin,
but it's basically invisible.
I find that it absorbs oil better than the other one does,
and it just takes less of it in order for it to work, it prevents shine.
It's a great powder. Very fond of it.
I think it only comes in one colour - Balancing Act -
yeah, it only comes in one colour, and quite a big fan.
I also use this palette from elf, or e.l.f. - eyes, lips, face.
I just found this brand in Canada.
I'd been looking for it for quite a while, because I know that most of their products
are cruelty free and vegan.
They have a few brushes, I believe, that are not vegan,
but almost all of their makeup is vegan.
I think all of their makeup is actually vegan.
And it is really affordable and they sell it at Superstore here in Canada.
And I think I paid - I believe it was $6.99 for this in Canada.
Which is unbelievable.
Makeup costs a lot more than that in Canada.
For a contour palette, this is a pretty good deal.
So - and I love their packaging, too. It's very nice and simple.
And I'm trying to do more zero waste-type things.
I'm not sure if I'll be repurchasing this product in the future,
but, I do appreciate that it's nice looking packaging, so that's worth something.
So you can tell that I've used quite a bit of this, it's been a while,
but this is a highlighting powder, and I really like that.
I'm probably going to be replacing this palette with something from Pacifica.
I've become a huge fan of their products.
I didn't really know that you could buy them in Canada until recently,
so I might be replacing this with a Pacifica product.
But I'm still quite happy with it.
So I use this as a highlighter,
and then this colour I tend to use as an eyeshadow base.
Like I was saying, I don't really wear much shadow.
Sometimes I'll just put this on my lid, and that's just mostly so it doesn't end up sweaty
and the eyeliner doesn't come off everywhere.
This is the contour colour.
I'm quite a fan of this bronzer colour. It looks very orange-y,
but in real life it's really not. It's a nice neutral-type colour.
And this one I kind of use along with it sometimes.
Sometimes I'll use this on my eyes, depending.
And you can see this one really doesn't get a lot of use,
so this is a less-used part of the palette,
which is one reason that I'm not such a big fan of palettes,
because sometimes there are colours in there that you just don't use.
One thing I tend to wear every day is mascara.
I tend to wear mascara every day, I think most women do.
This is the Pacifica "Aquarian Gaze" it's their waterproof mascara,
and I love this stuff. It is 100% cruelty-free and vegan.
The only negative thing that I can say about this brand is that their packaging is a little
bit cluttered looking for me.
I would much rather that it be a little more like this -
less fussy. You can see like, I think they're meaning to look all organic-y,
but I just find it excessively colourful. I don't know.
But you guys know how I feel about colour.
So...unless the colour is on me, I don't really like it.
So I'm not really a fan of looking at their packaging,
but it's not bad. And it's good quality packaging, too.
So, this is the black, and I'm really fond of this because,
when you put it on, it lasts really well.
I tried it the other day running, 'cause that's really the ultimate test for me,
I wore it on my bottom lashes, and my top lashes,
in minus 20 weather, I think it was colder than that, minus 23 or something like that,
celsius?
And it did great. We're talking, my eyelashes were freezing and everything,
and it was still working. It worked as well as anything I've ever used that was waterproof.
It works really well, I like that even though it's waterproof,
it comes off a bit easier than some of my other products.
So I'm a big fan. And I do use the black abyss.
I think it comes in blue, as well. I haven't tried that,
that's a little bit more risqué for me. I don't know if I'll be trying that, but this
is quite good.
Before I used that one, I was using Tarte's "Lash Paint".
And the lash paint mascara - this is just a sample -
but I have quite a few samples from them,
because it's Sephora, and if it's a sample of something I use, I will take it.
It has a really nice brush. It's a great product in terms of being
- gosh, you can see the feathering there on the end -
it is good in terms of adding TONS of volume to your lashes.
If you want really long, really voluminous lashes,
then the lash paint is really good.
I personally prefer a lengthening mascara that doesn't add too much bulk,
because I don't like clumps. I can't stand clumps.
And if you don't like clumps, then you're going to love the Pacifica one,
because I don't even know if you could get clumps with this one.
You can put on several layers and they will get longer,
But your lashes will not get thicker, necessarily,
which for some people is a huge downside,
but for me is exactly what I want in a mascara.
When it comes to eyeliner, I have two eyeliners that I use all the time that I like a lot.
This one is from Tarte, and it's the "So Fine Microliner" from their rainforest of the sea.
It's the "So Fine Microliner" from the rainforest of the sea collection.
It lasts a really long time. It's got a nice little tip on there,
and it's a really excellent eyeliner.
I just find it lasts a long time. I've used plenty of different pens,
I tend to like the pens best because they last a long time,
it is waterproof, it works great.
It's from Tarte, vegan and cruelty-free.
The other one that I really like is the Tatoo Liner from Kat Von D.
I really like this one. It's also vegan and cruelty-free.
And it's got a slightly different frush.
This one is more like an actual brush.
I would say that the tarte eyeliner is more of a pen,
and this one is more of a brush.
So, it's almost like a Tombow pen for writing, if you're into that kind of thing.
But anyway, it's a nice little brush on the end.
Lasts a very long time,
I love this dark brown colour, and it's fantastic.
For lipstick - that's the one people ask me about a lot.
Because I do wear lipstick - I love lipstick.
You can see that I frequently wear it in my videos.
I think I always wear lipstick in my videos.
When I'm wearing darker colours, there's two that I wear frequently.
One I'm wearing right now, and that is the Nosferatu from Kat Von D.
Vegan and cruelty-free. And it is meant to be long-lasting.
But it is not. This colour is a really pretty colour.
I like the way it looks, it's a nice looking colour.
It's very nice looking, the brush is great, no complaints there,
it's very good, but it does come off on things.
It's supposed to be lasting you 12 hours.
It doesn't even last a few minutes if you're talking just transfer.
This one however, is fantastic. This colour is kind of a nice neutral, it is called Lolita,
I believe - no no, I'm sorry, Double Dare.
This is the "Double Dare" from Kat Von D. it is amazing.
And it is a more neutral colour. This is kind of the "nude-er" colour that I wear pretty
much every day.
I probably wear this colour nine times out of ten.
Every single day of the week I wear this.
And it's a lovely colour, I think it compliments most skin tones,
she has quite a few colours in this family that are all these kind of neutral ones, and
you just have to find the one that matches your skin tone.
They last very nicely, they're vegan, they're cruelty-free.
This one lasts for hours. And it doesn't transfer.
And I know this one is lighter, but even if you -
you can see I'm drinking tea right now and I've already got some of the Nosferatu has
gotten all over this one,
but this one won't do that.
If you're drinking a liquid or something like that,
unless it's grease, which obviously removes this,
it's not going to come off. So this, the Double Dare, really good colour, I will definitely
be repurchasing this, and I think it's going to become a lifetime favourite.
There is one lipstick that people ask me about all the time, and it is not vegan.
Which I found out afterwards. I had seen it on Logical Harmony's list, but I only found
out later that it was cruelty free, not vegan.
It does contain beeswax, which is a real shame.
It's called "Bend and Snap" it's Melted Matte from Too Faced.
And I love this colour.
It's just kind of this raspberry-y colour, and you're going to see it on all my videos
until it runs out I'll be using it,
and then, I'm really hoping that they'll either drop beeswax from the product,
or I will find a replacement for it.
I obviously won't be buying this one again.
But I really do hope I can find a nice colour that will replace it.
I think Kat Von D probably is going to have a colour that will work just as well,
so I need to just keep looking through her collection and find something to replace it.
But I really do love this colour. So, it's one of my favourites, and yeah, cruelty-free,
but it does contain beeswax.
There are no other animal ingredients in the product,
but yeah, it does contain beeswax.
So, don't buy this one! Just saying.
When it comes to skincare, I probably should have mentioned this first.
But I usually use very little skincare.
Which - I know I should be using more.
I saw that guy, "Plant Eats" the other day talking,
and I think he mentions in his video, he's 50!
I dont' know if you've ever seen "Plant Eats"
but the guy definitely doesn't look like he's 50.
Maybe he has like the best ring light ever or something like that.
But the guy has phenomenal skin! And he was talking about how he wears sunscreen every
day.
I definitely need to start wearing sunscreen every day,
since I have completely transparent skin that would probably be a good idea.
I do wear makeup, and the makeup that I wear -
this one does contain sunscreen, so that's good,
to have a little bit, but it's not enough.
I used to buy Cetaphil sunscreen and use that,
but it's not cruelty-free, so I'm going to need to find another replacement for that,
so I'm kind of on the lookout for a better sunscreen alternative.
So that's something that I'm still looking for.
What I use in the meantime as my moisturizer is the Josie Maran argan oil.
I really like this. I like the light one that's a little bit more of a light weight. She has
a light weight and heavier weight argan oil.
They're a little pricey. But compared to most skincare they're practically nothing.
And I just find it makes my skin feel better, and less heavy after I put it on.
I really just like it. It's not as heavy as most moisturizers,
and it doesn't make my skin feel overly soaked in stuff.
I don't like that feeling.
Last product! This I put on right before I put on my makeup,
so I really should have shown you this right before I put on my makeup,
in the order here, this probably should have gone first.
This is also from Pür Minerals. It's vegan and cruelty-free.
And it's their correcting primer. And basically what this is is
lots of -cones. Dimethicone, and Siloxane -
if you're not comfortable with silicone on your skin, then do not buy this product.
Because it is pure silicone. And I love that, because to me, silicone products for your
hair or for your skin -
there's nothing that compares to the flawless sense that they give you,
and they also make makeup last forever.
So I like being able to put on makeup in the morning before my kids go to school
and having it still look nice when I take it off at night.
That's really important to me. I need kind of an 18-hour makeup
and I really don't want to have to reapply anything during the day.
That's kind of my - if I even have to do powder, I kind of feel like I'm being robbed for time.
So I'm one of those people that's high maintenance in terms of the fact that I love makeup, love
to wear makeup,
but on the other hand, I don't want to be putting on makeup multiple times per day.
So this is the correcting primer.
It is almost identical to Hourglass' primer.
I bought it because it is cruelty-free and vegan,
and also because it is much less expensive than Hourglass.
And I feel like Hourglass is just overly priced.
I think Hourglass is also - their primer - I think it is also vegan and cruelty free,
but I haven't checked that, so don't quote me on it.
But it's - this is essentially the same product.
So, I'm pretty happy with that.
And they sell it at Shoppers' Drug Mart, which is nice.
If you live in Canada, then you know how nice it is to be able to buy something at Shoppers'
Drug Mart,
because we get points. I don't know - is Target like that in the states? Like where you get
points or something?
Anyway, so I get points, and I can spend them on makeup, and that's what I do.
So, that's what this is from.
Anyway, I hope that was helpful,
you can see that I really don't have - at least there's some people when you're looking
on YouTube, especially more minimalist people, you'll see people who are minimalists, or
say they are, who have 35 different colours of lipstick,
and so it just kind of depends on the person.
I find that this is plenty of makeup for my needs.
As I said, I do have an eyeshadow palette that I use for my eyebrows and that one is
not vegan or cruelty free.
The problem with eyeshadow, I find, is that it lasts forever.
Eyeshadow - it's not a problem, it's actually a good thing -
but if you are trying to replace your collection with vegan products,
you're going to be waiting a while, at least in my case,
because I find that most makeup will last me years,
and I don't own - and I even don't own multiples.
Like, I'll own one palette of eyeshadow,
and that one palette of eyeshadow is going to last me five years, wearing it every day.
I actually - the brow powder that's in that palette -
I've been using it for like, four years, every day on my eyebrows,
and I still haven't run out of this tiny little thing of powder.
Which is just crazy to me. It's almost like it's some kind of "Hanukkah miracle" or something.
But for some reason, the stuff never runs out.
I don't know why, but it's just what I find with eyeshadow in general, it doesn't wear
out.
I also didn't show you guys my blush, because my blush is also not vegan,
I will be replacing it with a vegan alternative,
I'm sure it will probably be from Pacifica, 'cause as I said,
I'm really impressed with the quality and the dedication that they have to the environment
and stuff,
I like that it's a slightly smaller company,
I'm really happy that I've been able to find a place in Canada to buy it,
apparently they just sell it at my local health food store,
I never thought of looking there for makeup.
And so, that's fantastic.
So that's where I'm going to be buying that from now on.
But yeah, I'm pretty fond of Pacifica, Tarte and Kat Von D
I kind of like them all for different things.
When I'm looking for a technical makeup that has to last a long time,
and is just going to work really well, Kat Von D is like that,
Tarte is good for certain things as well, but Kat Von D is pretty reliable when it comes
to long-lasting lipstick.
Except for that Nosferatu colour that I showed you.
Long lasting lipstick or eyeliner, something like that, Kat Von D is pretty good.
And you just have to double check, because some of her palettes from before she went
vegan
- she's just like me, I guess - she still has some non-vegan palettes that she's selling,
which I hope she will have reformulated soon, but I understand that she needs to go through
it and everything like that.
I try to be patient with myself, so I should be patient with her.
She's still trying to move into that, but I know that she eventually is going to have
all vegan makeup as well,
so, good for her!
Tarte has a lot of vegan products, and I don't know if they
do this in the states, but here in Canada, at Sephora,
they actually have a little display of products from Tarte,
and they actually say on them with a "v" if it's vegan.
Which is very helpful, because, as I'm sure you may have noticed,
if you're new to trying to find vegan makeup,
it is sometimes difficult to know if something is vegan or not.
Logical Harmony is necessary for me, I have to look up pretty much every product,
I'm standing there at Sephora always with my cellphone in one hand, like looking -
I have no idea what salespeople think of me - 'cause I have to look at all the ingredients
and stuff,
And like I said, I don't buy a lot of makeup.
If all of it's fitting in that little bag.
Fortunately, I don't have to buy a lot, and so I'm not needing to look up those ingredients
that often.
If I like something, I buy it again, and I don't feel like I need to try new makeup all
the time,
because I'm not a beauty blogger or something like that,
so for me it's not so bad. Because if I like it, I'll buy it again,
and I don't have to keep doing that research.
But some people do.
And so if you're someone who buys a lot of makeup,
do it ahead of time so you don't look like a total freak when you're at Sephora with
your phone,
trying to search every ingredient.
Or at least go to Logical Harmony's website, it will at least save you so that you can
kind of tell which products are vegan and cruelty free,
'cause it's hard otherwise to do it. That would be my #1 tip.
And thank you so much for watching.
I hope that this was helpful.
This will not be my regular sort of video, so if you're a guy and you're wondering why
we're talking about makeup,
this is just a question that I've gotten from viewers and
I just wanted to share with you kind of what my beauty routine is,
and what I use, and just share with you what my makeup uses are,
what kind of products I use and stuff like that.
Thank you so much for watching,
and if you enjoyed this video, please give it a "thumbs up"
let me know down below, especially if you know of a vegan and cruelty-free brand that
has this kind of a colour in a long-wear lipstick, and what it's name is?
That would be awesome. I would love to know that.
Leave me a comment down below if you know what this is.
And otherwise, thank you so much to my Patreon supporters,

So let's begin.
One of my friends speak three languages.
One of my friends speak three languages.
Did you get it?
Let's try it again more slowly.
One of my friends speak three languages.
One of my friends speak three languages.
Could you find the mistake this time?
Now I'm going to show you the sentence.
The sentence is "One of my friends speak three languages."
Can you find the mistake?
The mistake is "speak."
In this sentence, "speak" should be "speaks."
And "speaks," the verb, agrees with the third person singular pronoun in English.
That means he, she, one or it.
So this is "One speaks" in this sentence.
Remember to add -s.
Let's practice this sentence together now. The correct version. Are you ready?
One of my friends speaks three languages.
Good. Let's try it one more time now.

What you need to know about Winter Sun and Vitamin D - Duration: 1:30.
hey it's dr. Jory so what's the deal
with vitamin D synthesis in the
wintertime
well if you live in a northern climate
anywhere in Canada a lot of the US
Europe Asia Siberia a lot of these
places do not have any vitamin D
synthesis from the months of november to
march it doesn't matter that it's a
beautiful sunny day in February I'm out
here on Lake Huron but I can't get any
vitamin D synthesis from all that
sunlight
the reason is the Sun is too much on an
ecliptic it's not straight overhead even
though it's noontime it's on quite an
angle which reflects the ultraviolet B
radiation off the atmosphere and then we
can't get that vitamin D that is why
it's crucial to supplement with vitamin
D through the winter months
there is no better supplement than the
Sun so even though the Sun is blazing
out here I could stand here naked and
get no vitamin D synthesis whatsoever as
usual
