EastEnders spoilers Viewers heartbroken as Dr Legg dies in Dot Cottons arms TV and Radio Show

Dr Legg played by Leonard Fenton was brought back to when Walford stalwart Dot June Brown was concerned over her own health fears, believing she could be dying.

However, after it was revealed Dot was not about to meet her maker on the soap, the pensioner was devastated to discover her dear friend Dr Legg was dying of cancer, wanting to spend his remaining days on the Square.

Since moving in with Dot, Dr Legg has faced some confrontation with Dot"s lodger Stuart Highway Ricky Champ and was heartbroken to discover his parents graves had been defaced by a group of disgruntled youths.

It was their most recent attack targeting Dr Legg"s past which saw the pensioner succumb to his ill health and over the past week, Dot has been preparing for his return so he could spend his last few days in the comfort of her home.

EastEnders viewer

Arriving back at Dot"s home, Dr Legg relived how he came to meet his late wife Judith, who died during World War II.

With his health deteriorating, Dr Legg mistook Dot"s granddaughter Bex Fowler Jasmine Armfield for his late wife, which upset the teenager.

However, as he relived his days with Judith to Dot, Bex"s mother Sonia Fowler Natalie Cassidy explained how in love the dying man was with his wife, revealing how the EastEnders icon had dug through the rubble with his bare hands when a bomb hit the Square to find his beloved Judith.

In the closing moments of the episode, Dr Legg told Dot how he wanted to kiss his wife again at which point, he passed away with the stalwart by his side.

Realising her friend had passed away, Dot told Dr Legg to go and find his wife after their years of being apart.

Taking to Twitter following the heartbreaking final scenes, viewers were in pieces over the icons death on the BBC soap.

One viewer posted: "Well that"s made me cry eastenders doctorlegg," with a second adding: "Knew I"d be sobbing by the end of the episode EastEnders."

A third wrote: "Leonard Fenton take a bow. You were always the only Walford doctor. They tried to replace you many times but never could. RIP Dr Legg. A legend. eastenders," commending the actor of the iconic character.

" EastEnders aw Jesus! This Dr Legg storyline is so hard to watch!!!" a fourth remarked, with a fifth asking: "Anyone else tearing up over Eastenders or just me."

Another opined: "That was the saddest Eastenders for a while and so well done. Such powerful messages in Dr. Legg"s final words, and the way we heard them against reminders of the struggles for other characters was really emotional."

While a sixth commented: "Dr Legg what a legacy he leaves... so sad to see the death of an original EastEnders thank you Leonard Fenton for giving so many years to the show!"

Continuing the outpour of heartbreak, a seventh posted: " eastenders has got got me properly choked up tonight."

In upcoming scenes, the residents of Walford will pay their last respects to Dr Legg with his funeral bringing back some familiar faces.

Hearing the news about the pensioners death, former Walford residents George "Lofty" Holloway Tom Watt and Mary "The Punk" Smith Linda Davidson will make their way back to the Square.

They won"t be alone however, as the classic characters will be joined by Mary"s daughter Annie Marilyn O"Brien .

However, the comeback will be brief but Lofty actor Tom Watt, 63, recently revealed he wouldn"t rule out another return in the future.

continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on One

Glamorous Olympic hero floors Vladamir Putin as pair spar on judo mat - News Live - Duration: 2:47.

This is the woman who floored Russian president Vladimir Putin in a judo sparring session - prompting him to get up and kiss her on the head

Olympic bronze medalist Natalia Kuzyutina claims to have thrown him over her head, although the actual moment has not been released by the Kremlin to Russian media

The 29-year-old had been joined in the late night judo session in Sochi by Putin, who had come from a tense day of talks with with President Hassan Rouhani of Iran and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan culminating in a state banquet

He arrived at the gym at 9pm in time to be partnered with Ms Kuzyutina, who has previously appeared in photo shoots wearing her bikini and showing off her toned body

She posted to her social media account after their workout to say: "Thank you President Putin that after such complex negotiation at the summit he found time for a full-scale quality training

"I was glad yet again to be a sparring partner of the first judoist of our country

"  Putin later said: "It's a well known medical fact - the level of adrenaline increases in a person who practices physical exercises, so your mood improves, and you take a different look on the world around you

"I can probably say that it helps you to get real."  Russia newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets (MK) reported: "Kuzyutina was a lot pushier than fellow male sportsmen

"She kept going on and on and finally managed to throw Vladimir Putin over her head

"He wasn't upset but indeed appreciated her persistence.  "He got up and kissed Natalya on the top of her head

"  An eyewitness added: "This is not the first sparring fight that the President had with her, and he really values her

"  Russians were assured that Putin trained for a full hour and was "in very good physical shape"

Nor was he treated "softly" by the judo coach.  "Judo champions treated Vladimir Putin with care - but he didn't pay with the same attitude and threw them quite roughly on the tatami," the MK reported

"Olympic bronze champion Ivan Nifontov was four times with his back on the floor

"  Putin's appeared to injure his thumb during a bout with Olympic champion Beslan Mudranov, and a doctor rushed to bandage him before he continued

Kuzyutina, from Bryansk, competes in the women's 52kg category and won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio

A day in my life as a writer 🖊️ - 5 Things Friday - Duration: 16:29.

Hi, it's author, Ellie Alexander, and I'm coming to you with another 5 Things Friday.

That's right, it's Friday.

And it's a three day weekend.

Thanks to a reader suggestion, this week we are going to take on five hours in my writing

life.

Are you thinking that it's champagne and bon-bons and super glamorous?

Stay tuned and find out.

[theme music playing]

That's right everyone, it's another Friday and here in beautiful Ashland, Oregon it is

raining!

I know that I talk about the fact that it doesn't rain very often in Southern Oregon,

but sometimes it does.

I'm so excited to share what a typical day in my writing life looks like.

And, spoiler alert, it is not glamorous.

So let's get right to it.

Number one: The first thing I start out every day with is a walk.

I get outside, rain or shine, usually shine, sometimes snow and ice.

No matter the weather, I get outside and I start every morning, my first hour of every

morning, with a walk.

It does a lot of things.

One, it gets my blood pumping, it's good exercise, but I also feel like it's great for my writing

because my creative energy starts to build throughout the day.

And I'm walking in beautiful places like here in Lithia Park.

Alright, so it's raining...let's grab the dog and do this!

Someone else get's really excited about our daily walks.

Let's go.

[music playing]

So we just finished a modified loop up through Lithia and back down through one of our favorite

neighborhoods here in Ashland.

And, in true Ashland fashion, I cut our longer walk short because it was raining and now

you can, just like half an hour or 45 minutes later, the skies are clearing.

Blue and sun are peeking through the clouds.

And now I'm up above the Calle.

Torte sits right down here on the corner.

And Jules walks along the Ashland Creek on the cobblestone path of the Calle to her apartment

right above Elevation.

It's so fun as a writer of fiction to get to weave these real places into the series.

They are definitely my inspiration and my muse when I'm working on any of the Bakeshop

Mysteries.

[music playing]

So Jules lives right upstairs above, what really is Mountain Provisions, but of course,

if you've read the Bakeshop Mysteries, it's Elevation.

And the only problem with writing about a real place in my fiction is at the end of

every walk I always think in my head like, "I should just hop down to Torte and get one

of Andy's coffees."

[music playing]

Or, I could pop into Puck's, also known in the real world as Oberon's, and have a turkey

leg and a cocktail with Lance.

[music playing]

Don't you just want to pop into Torte, down the entrance to the new basement digs and

get one of Helen's delicious pastries?

Or head upstairs and see what Andy's creating behind the bar?

I'm back from my daily loop and, as always, getting to walk up in the mountains or here

in the plaza where Torte would sit is always so inspiring.

Now I can't wait to get home and start what's next in my day.

Hmmm...

[music playing]

As you can see, I am back from my morning walk and I'm so eager to get started on my

actual writing.

But first I need step two of every day which, drumroll please, involves none other than

coffee!

Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee.

The second thing I do when I get back from my morning walk is make myself a latte.

Now, here's something that might actually be a shocker.

My red coffee canister denotes the fact that this is decaf.

I'm actually, predominantly a decaf drinker.

Mainly because caffeine makes me shaky and crazy, but I love the smell, and the flavor,

and the ritual of coffee.

And, of course, I have to be drinking a latte while I'm writing the Bakeshop Mysteries to

really center myself into Jules' head and the space of Torte.

But, I do it without the caffeine.

If you, like me, are not a huge fan of caffeine, I am getting ready to introduce a decaf line

of Torte coffees.

I know that's been a request from a lot of you, so they're coming.

And I'm making one right now.

I've always love the ritual of coffee.

There's just something so sensory about it.

And, as I'm sure you can tell, I am not a professional barista.

But I do love using my home machine, because it saves me so much money and I feel like

I get to be so much closer to Jules, and Andy, and the entire crew at Torte when I'm making

my home coffee.

And every writer needs something warm next to his or her desk when they're writing.

Are you right?

Are you with me?

Are you with me?

Here we go.

This is my favorite part!

[coffee machine brewing noise]

Look at that espresso.

It's so beautiful.

I really don't start any writing without a cup of coffee, you can ask my husband.

Although he's constantly teasing me about the fact that I drink decaf.

Jules would not be impressed, nor would Andy.

I think one of the baristas I talked to early on in my process of doing research for this

book said, "People who drink decaf have a special place in Hell."

[laughing] Fine, bring it on.

That's ok.

I still love that aroma, and the process, and how beautiful it is.

I have to wait for a second for the milk to steam, which is the hardest part.

But this is the quickest part of the rest of my writer's day.

So, I should just savor it.

I have writer friends who write in the evening and like open up a bottle of wine or pour

themselves some kind of fancy cocktail.

I could never write and drink at the same time.

Java, that's like my limit.

Java and water.

That's as far as I go.

And now for the steam.

[whooshing sound of steam]

Every time I do this step I imagine Andy standing behind the espresso bar at Torte, steaming

and chatting up the customers.

So, really it's proof that I have to do this for my research.

Is Andy not the cutest character?

I know I talked about him last week, but he's just one of my favorite characters to write

because he's so earnest and genuine.

Um, but has this sense of sophistication when it comes to the coffee world too.

It's been really fun to develop him as the series has gone on.

I'm not sure he would approve of my foaming skills, though.

You're getting a real-life look!

I test it by touching the bottom, which is probably something Jules would say don't do.

It's almost there...

Alright, on to the last and final step of the second part of my day which is building

the latte.

Pouring the milk in.

I mean it is such an act of love.

I am working on a flashback book right now and I've been researching coffee from the

1980s and it's amazing how much coffee has evolved.

In the 1980s you would never make a latte like this.

It would be a dark shot of espresso, a little bit of milk, and then like inches and inches

of foam.

And I think it's so funny, because if you went to a coffee shop today and asked for

this much foam, or the barista gave you that much foam, you'd be like, "What is this?"

Coffee, it's a culture.

Ok...finish it off.

Ok, I've had my morning walk.

That was step one.

Step two, I have made myself a homemade decaf latte.

It smells delicious, it's going to warm my hands.

Let's go find out what step three in my very sophisticated writer's day looks like.

Alright, now we are on to number three.

The third step in a day writing life.

This is, by far, the biggest chunk of every day and that is word count.

Right here at my desk.

I have my latte in hand, so I will be fueled, whether it is unleaded or not, I still something

delicious to be drinking.

Um, when I'm writing, as you'll note, I'm rarely in like fancy clothes.

I don't usually wear dresses or shoes when I write.

I don't wear jewelry when I write.

I don't wear earrings or my wedding rings when I write.

Not to sound too Monk-ish, but I hate the feeling of like my ring hitting on the keyboard

I'm typing or like my earrings moving against my hair.

I always have multiple Chapsticks at the ready, because I don't know why.

I'm constantly using Chapsticks when I write.

I light candles.

I have a Jules playlist or a Sloan playlist, whatever book I'm working on and I really

set the mood.

The really interesting thing for me is my word count usually runs somewhere from about

like 9, 9:30 in the morning until 2 o'clock.

I will spend that whole chunk of time working on whatever book I'm writing at the moment.

And I don't do anything else.

I'll get up.

I'll get a glass of water.

I'll stretch.

I'll do some yoga.

I'll move around a little bit.

But, otherwise, I am in my writing space.

And I was speaking to a book club earlier this week and I had kind of ah-ha moment about

why that is.

By two o'clock I am always done.

And I think it stems from the fact that when I first started writing my son was in elementary

school.

And so I would drop him off at school and come back and get to work right away writing.

And I had to be done by two o'clock to go pick him up from school.

And for whatever reason that ritual and routine has stuck with me.

So, for the next five to six hours you're going to find me right here working on book

eleven, at the moment, of the Bakeshop Mysteries.

Number four: Wooo!

My word count is finished for the day and now I can have fun connecting with you on

social media.

I love getting to use social media, all my various platforms, to connect with readers.

It's been one of the greatest pleasures and surprises, actually, of my writing career

thus far.

The only this is, it is a major distraction.

So, if you don't hear from me for a few hours, know that that's because I am working on my

word count.

I do not give myself permission to chat and engage on social media, or get sucked down

the beautiful rabbit hole that is pastry chefs and all those gorgeous images that I can get

sucked into on Instagram of cakes, and beautiful pastries, and everything I would imagine Jules

baking at Torte.

Or, craft beer and gorgeous photos of the outside.

Whatever book I'm working on, I can totally get sucked down a rabbit hole.

So, I don't do any social media until I am done with my word count for the day.

One of the challenging things, probably the most challenging for me in terms of social

media as an author, is making sure that I am sharing authentic content with you.

And I always try to share pieces of my research, my real-world research.

But my page can't really look like maybe a pastry chef's, or a craft brewer, or someone

who's only taking gorgeous photos of the Pacific Northwest landscape, because I write about

so many different things.

So sometimes I feel like, you know, I'm a bit scattered.

Some of things that I write about cross paths and some of them are kind of divergent.

Whether it's flowers, or beer, or baking.

Um, so it's always a challenge to me to make sure that I'm sharing things that are real

and interesting to you as readers and to me as a writer.

Um, and then how I tie it all together.

I don't know.

I'm still figuring that out.

So if you have great suggestions for me, throw em my way.

Number five: This is the last part of my day before I still go to pick up my kiddo, who

is now - sob - in high school and spend the evening with my family at the end of my work

day.

And that is shooting videos like this and taking photos of my books or something delicious

that I've baked that I want to share with you.

And I have to tell you, peeling back the curtain, it's a lot of work.

I had no idea how much work goes into setting up, lighting, and a camera.

I don't usually write with a camera in my face.

You would not want to see me talking to my self, and pulling out my hair, and scratching

things on paper.

But I did think it would be fun to show you that usually the last thing that I'll do at

the end of my day, after I've finished connecting with you on social media, is actually filming

videos.

And they take, probably, hours!

I had no idea when we first started doing this that they would -- I thought maybe, you

know, it'd be like 5 minutes.

You shoot a quick video and then you're done.

But, not so much.

We stage it, we shoot it, my husband edits it, sets it to music, adds some fun graphics,

and then finally uploads it to share with you.

I hope you have enjoyed these five hours in my writing life.

It's actually five hours plus a big chunk of that time for word count in the middle

of the day.

Hopefully, you will have realized that it's not very glamorous.

I am writing in my cozy cabin socks, in a warm turtleneck, with a latte, in my office

by myself most of the day.

Um, but despite the fact it's not champagne and roses, I love getting to write and share

my books with you.

So, as always, please be sure to subscribe to my page and click the bell to get notified

whenever I share new videos.

I hope you have a wonderful three-day weekend and have stacks of books to read.

Orlando Bloom has been working on his romantic Valentine's Day proposal to Katy Perry for quite some time

"Orlando had planned this for a while," a Bloom source tells PEOPLE. "He wanted it all to be special

" Get push notifications with news, features and more. Follow Following You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications

The actor, 42, even went the old-fashioned route and sought her parents' permission before popping the question

"Katy's family knew he was proposing. He talked to her parents about it before," the source continues

Even with all the advance planning, Perry, 34, apparently had no idea the proposal was imminent

"Katy was very surprised and shaking with happiness," the insider tells PEOPLE.  Following their wedding, the next milestone for the pair appears to be parenthood

"Katy is slowing down her career this year," a second source tells PEOPLE, adding that the couple "want to get married and start a family sooner rather than later

"  The Bloom source agrees, telling PEOPLE, "They both want kids together and will prioritize this

"  Bloom is already a father to 8-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr

Perry shared her first photo with her now-fiancé on Friday, posting a close-up image of the pair surrounded by numerous heart-shaped balloons, while showing off her unique flower-shaped diamond ring, which features a colorful jewel in the center  "Full bloom," she sweetly captioned the image, using a play on her husband-to-be's name

Bloom went on to share the same image on his own Instagram, captioning the adorable snap, "Lifetimes

"  Earlier Friday, the second source revealed that although Perry may have been surprised, the couple's decision to take their relationship to the next level wasn't a spur-of-the-moment choice

"They've been talking about getting engaged for a while. After reconciling Katy has felt very secure with Orlando and they both knew it was different this time," the source says

"They made their relationship a priority and both of them literally flew all around the world to keep their relationship strong

"  "She was in such a bad place after her split from Russell [Brand], so to be getting married again is a huge deal

Their friends and family are so happy and excited for them," the insider adds, referencing Perry's ex-husband, whom she split from in 2011

"They are such a great couple," the Bloom source adds. "They really took their time to figure out if they could work as a couple

They really wanted to from the beginning, but things are not always easy. They are both proud of how far they have come

Everyone is super excited about the engagement."

The Binding of Isaac - as a shadow of CHRIST - Duration: 4:27.

Abraham waited a long time until his son Isaac was born ...

He loved him very much

But then, God asked him:

Take your son, your only son,

whom you love, Isaac

and go to the land of Moriah

and offer him there as a burnt offering.

So Abraham rose early in the morning

and went to the place of which God had told him.

On the third day:

Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac, his son.

The wood was on Isaac, his son

and they walked on together.

Isaac spoke to Abraham his father:

Where is the LAMB for the burnt offering?

Abraham said:

God will provide for Himself the LAMB for the burnt offering, my son.

As we know, Abraham did not sacrifice his son at the end.

God provided another sacrifice in place of his son - a ram, caught in the thicket by his horns.

And because he did not withhold his only son,

God promised that all the nations of the earth will be blessed in his seed!

Indeed, the Messiah came forth in his seed unto the salvation of all nations.

In the end, it was God who actually did not withhold His only Son,

His Son Jesus was the promised LAMB !

The ram was for the life of Isaac.

The Messiah was the LAMB, whom God provided

for the lives of all His children, from every nation!

And just as Isaac carried the wood of the burnt offering on himself,

likewise did Jesus, He carried the wooden Cross on himself,

to be crucified on it.

And they will look on Me, whom they have pierced [Zechariah 12]

"It is finished!" He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

When they had finished all the things having been written about Him,

they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb.

But on the third day:

God raised Him from the dead!

He is the Messiah of God, He cannot remain in Sheol,

It was written about Him:

For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.

[Psalm 16]

All the judgment was given to Christ, the Son of God,

For the Father loves the Son ...

The Father has given all judgment to the Son, so that everyone will honor the Son,

just as they honor the Father.

Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him.

The Messiah promised to anoint those who believe in His Name

with the Holy Spirit,

thus becoming children of God,

who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man,

but of God!

When the day of Pentecost had come ... suddenly there came from heaven a sound

like a mighty rushing wind ... they saw tongues like flames of fire ...

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues.

"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ

for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit".

How Liverpool could line up WITHOUT Mohamed Salah as Juventus prepare summer move - Duration: 4:59.

Having lured Cristiano Ronaldo to Turin from Real Madrid last summer in an incredible £100million deal, reports in Italy claim they are desperate to follow that up with an equally extraordinary offer for Liverpool star Salah

The Serie A giants are said to have tabled a player-plus-cash offer of £44m plus Argentina sensation Paulo Dybala which could be difficult for Liverpool to turn down given Dybala's valuation of £100m

Here, Express Sport looks at how the Reds could line up if they do lose their star man

There is no doubt that Salah's exit would leave a huge void in Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's side

The Egyptian has scored 64 goals in 86 games in all competitions since moving to the club and his 31 strikes in the Premier League last season was a record for a 38-game campaign

So how do you go about replacing that? Well, it might not be as bad as you think

If Liverpool do get Dybala in exchange for Salah they would be signing a player who can play across the front line

The 25-year-old is comfortable in almost every attacking position and we would expect him to line up on the right of a four-man attack as Klopp reverts back to a 4-2-3-1 formation

Increasingly this season, Klopp has been using a 4-3-3 system, with Salah often deployed as an out-and-out forward and Roberto Firmino out wide

Salah's goal return is not to be ignored, but he does lack the presence to lead the line consistently and his exit could free up some cash to sign a natural centre forward while allowing Firmino to drop back into his own natural position behind the central striker

So how about Timo Werner for that role? The RB Leipzig star has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in the past and Klopp is known to be a huge admirer of his fellow German

And it is easy to see why. Werner has been prolific once again this term with 11 goals in 19 Bundesliga games and has made no secret of his desire to one day move to a bigger club

Liverpool could hardly be more perfect as his lightning pace would replace that lost if Salah does leave and he is well-suited to Klopp's style of play

The 22-year-old recently signed a new contract at Leipzig but the deal is understood to include a clause that would force them to sell if a club like Liverpool ever came in for him

There is little doubt he would be tempted by the move and if we include him in Klopp's new-look attack it is starting to look like a formidable frontline once again - even in Salah's absence

Sadio Mane would surely keep his place on the left after another superb season that has seen him score 12 goals in 24 Premier League games this term, while Firmino's new position as a No 10 would give Liverpool back something they have been missing ever since Philippe Coutinho left for Barcelona

That would mean players dropping out of midfield, though, and on current form that probably means limited game-time for Werner's former Leipzig team-mate Naby Keita and versatile Brazilian Fabinho

Keita has struggled to settle since moving to England and, although Fabinho has slowly started to find his feet, Jordan Henderson remains club captain and Georginio Wijnaldum is perhaps the unsung hero in an otherwise star-studded XI

Fabinho could fill in at the back from time to time but do not expect too many changes in defence as Joe Gomez will almost certainly return partner Virgil van Dijk at the heart of it once he is back from injury

Meanwhile, in Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool might already have the two best full-backs in the league and Alisson's No 1 spot is under no threat whatsoever

The Quranic gems, the word; Husband, by Dr. Fadel Saleh As-Samarrai. - Duration: 6:57.

[Al-Ba'al] is the master.. the owner..

Even [Al-Ba'al] of the household.. he is its master and its owner..

This is linguistically..

Yes.. linguistically..

good.

[Al-Ba'al] is the master.. the owner..

OK.

And, [Az-Zawj]..

No, the word; [Az-Zawj] is clear..

it means, the analogous..

".. Gather those who committed wrong, and their kinds[Az-Zwajahum].." 37:22

The question is, why does He choose..

the word [Bu'aulatuhunna] in some verses..?

and in other verses, he chooses..

[Az-Zwajahunna]?

This is the question now.

So..

From the linguistic point of view..

[Al-Ba'al] is the master.. the owner..

[Ba'al Ad-Dar] is the master of the household..

And, is the husband is tha master of the woman.. her owner..

Of course, "Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other.. " 4:34

".. by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth.. "

exactly..

the man is responsible.. and the say is his..

Not the woman.. No!

Even if the woman is the spending from her wealth..

he is the master of the household..

She doesn't have to, this is his duty.

She doesn't have to spend on the household.

This is basic in Shar'a..

Exactly.

This is linguistically..

OK..

So, [Al-Ba'al] is..

the master.. the owner.. and the responsible..

he is over.. in charge..

Then, how..

Why are these words selected?

Sometimes He says for the husbands of the wives; [Bu'aulat-uhunna]..

and sometimes, He says for the husbands of the wives; [Azwaj-ahunna]

Right..

We've explained the meaning, linguistically..

And [Az-Zawj] is the analogous.. "Gather those who committed wrong and their kinds[their Azwaj]".

Even for the wife[Zawjah].. Can we say; [Zawj]..

Sure.

can we call a female; [Zawj]?

of course..

and the male; [Zawj]

of course..

What about the word; [Zawjah]..

this is incorrect.. weak..

Some linguistic experts have denied it.

others said it is weak.

Allah, Almighty, said: "And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife[your Zawj], in Paradise.. " 2:35

may be it is in the language..

in the Arabic language..

Some linguistic experts said; the use of the word[Zawjah] for the wife, is weak.

others said; it is totally incorrect, to use the word[Zawjah].

So, I can't say; my [Zawjah= wife]..

yes, you must say; may [Zawj].

my [Zawj]!!

not my [Zawjah]

This is in the classical [Fusha]Arabic language

Ok... my [Zawj]!

".. and amended for him.. his wife[his Zawj].. " 21:90

his wife..

I mean his woman..

And; "..dwell, you and your wife[your Zawj], in Paradise.. "

right.

This is how it is used..

Actually; the word; [Az-Zawj] means the analogous pair..

"Gather those who committed wrong and their kinds[their Azwaj].."

"And other [punishments] of its type, in paired kinds[Azwaj]." 38:58

This is how it is, in the language..

OK..

their pairs..

Now, why is the word selected in the verse?

This is the question.. Why?

"Divorced women remain in waiting for three periods.. " 2:228

".. And.. their husbands[Bo'aolat-uhunna].. "

".. have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation."

Now, who has the final word.. the right..

it is for the husband[Al-Ba'al].

the master.. the owner..

So here, the priority is for his word..

So, he is a master and an owner, when the right is for him.

And in this case, he has the right to say the final word..

good..

he is in a superior position..

OK..

"And when you divorce women.. " 2:232

".. and they have fulfilled their term.. "

".. do not prevent them.. "

".. from remarrying their [former] husbands [Azwaj-hunna]..

".. if they agree among themselves on an acceptable basis.."

OK..

Yes..

".. do not prevent them.. "

".. from remarrying their [former] husbands [Azwaj-hunna]..

He didn't say; their husbands[Bo'aolat-uhunna].

Now, who is having the right.. to act..

to whom is the speech directed?.. when He said; do not prevent them?

to the Wali who is responsible of the woman..

not to the woman.. But, to him..

He must not prevent the woman.

And here, the speech is not directed to the husband..

who is not [Ba'al] here..

Now, the Wali is the person in charge.

right..

So, when the husband was in charge, he was [Al-Ba'al].

But, now he is not in charge..

Who is responsible now?

the Wali of the woman..

".. do not prevent them from remarrying their [former] husbands [Azwaj-hunna]"

So, now, he is not having a priority..

This is after divorce..

yes, the verse is after the end of the term of the divorced women.

"And when you divorce women.."

".. and they have fulfilled their term.. "

".. do not prevent them from remarrying their [former] husbands if they agree among themselves on an acceptable basis.."

Now, who is the person, who have the final ward in the situation?

The Wali of the woman..

so, he is not the husband..

No, not him.

The word; [Ba'al] means the person who have the final word in the situation.. the owner..

but now, the husband is not in charge..

so this speech is not for him

right..

So, in this case, he is not entitled to be..

a master or an owner..

and the speech is not for him..

right..

"And if a woman fears from her husband[Ba'al-aha] contempt or evasion.. " 4:128

So, he is showing her his contempt.. and his evasion.. so he is [Ba'al]..

he is acting with superiority..

She is afraid of his contempt and his evasion.. he is acting superior..

So, the verse is about contempt and evasion.. so, her husband is called[Ba'al].

What is the meaning of contempt [Nushous]?

It means; he would leave her, or would not cooperate.. or would not respect the relation.. things like these..

Good..

".. and not expose their adornment except to their husbands[Bo'aolat-henna].. " 24:31

Actually, in Arabic.. If we open any Arabic dictionary..

When the woman [Taba'alat], i.e. she showed her adornment to her husband.

And, from that, they say; The good [Taba'aul].

Yes..

When she is loving to him, and obeying him..

the good behavior.

[At-Taba'aul]..

It means; to put on adornments.

to beautify herself for her husband.

And, this verse is about.. a woman showing her beauty..

".. expose their adornment.. "

right..

".. and not expose their adornment except to their husbands[Bo'aolat-henna].. "

Yes, the verse is about.. beautifying herself..

So, He used the right word for the situation..

Of course!

So, is it wrong, linguistically?.. It is incorrect to say..

I mean not in Qur'an..

we are talking about eloquence here..

Linguistically, you can say anything..

No.. No.. as regards selection of..

the precise word..

So, [Taba'alat] means; beautified herself.

in addition to obeying him, and behaving nicely towards him..

This is [At-Taba'aul].

and the verse here is about a woman beautifying herself for her husband..

so, the word; [Bo'aolat-henna]is used for their husbands.

It is the most suitable word to be used here.

right.

So, the husband is called ;[Ba'al]..

and the wife.. [Ba'alah]?

Yes, we have the word [Ba'alah] in Arabic..

[Ba'alah]!

They said she can be [Ba'alah] because, she can own him with love.

then, she will be the controlling..

So, if the woman is taking the upper hand, then she is; [Ba'alah].

she owns him with love.

Swap on cards as Serie A giants want Lukaku to replace £100m Man Utd target - Duration: 2:39.

Manchester United have been handed yet another boost in their pursuit of Mauro Icardi as

Inter Milan eye his replacement, a report claims.

Icardi has been with Inter since 2013, establishing himself as one of the club's most important

players and even being handed the armband. However, rumours have arisen recently that

his time with the Serie A giants could soon be coming to an end, with reports suggesting

issues have arisen over a contract renewal with the club.

It seem though that any chance of a long-term stay with the Nerazzurri is in serious jeopardy,

as the club announced on social media that he has been stripped of the captaincy.

A blunt tweet read: "The Club communicates that the new captain of the team is Samir #Handanovic #FCIM"

In addition, the San Siro club left him out of their squad to face Rapid Wien in the Europa

League on Thursday night, with his replacement Lautaro Martinez scoring the winner.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Argentine international as they

look for an upgrade on Romelu Lukaku, and the latest news from Italy hands them a major

boost. Calciomercato, via newspaper Corriere dello

Sport, suggest that Inter are 'planning for life without the 25-year-old' and have

drawn up a four-man shopping list of possible replacements.

Roma star Edin Dzeko, red-hot Sampdoria man Duvan Zapata and reported Liverpool target

Timo Werner are three of the names apparently being considered.

However, interestingly Lukaku's name also appears on that list, despite him having scored

just nine goals in 32 appearances for United this season.

He has even seemingly fallen out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season, who

has tended to prefer Marcus Rashford up front. Icardi currently has a release clause of €110m

which seems to be the sticking point in negotiations over an extended stay with Inter, while United

paid £75m for Lukaku from Everton, meaning a possible swap could be on the cards.
