It's a reality. SWS survey from 1998 until
now, church attendance has been gradually
decreasing. This is so true. I'm telling you. This
is a truth... probably, you know, a few percentage
points... You know, more or less, 85%.
Huge number. 85% of
Catholics
are no longer regularly going to church. And I am
going to tell you one big
reason. For many people, they were going to church
when they were kids. Parents brought them to
church. Papa would bring them to church. But then,
when they grow up. When they grew older. When they
left the house of their parents, or or just
the fact that, you know, life became busy, they
stopped going regularly to church. And, why? Many
reasons. Number 1 is, they don't have, they
don't see the relevance in their life anymore.
It's boring. Some people just got so, so
busy, they don't have time anymore to go to church.
Some people say this, "I have a, you know, individual
relationship with God. You know, that's me and God."
And, "I don't need to go to church anymore.
I'm not...
I'm spiritual and so, I'm still, you
know, somewhere, believing in God." Etcetera...
etcetera. But let me tell you my story. Why my
story became different. Like many people, I was,
like, I was a kid and I was brought to church by my
parents. I did not understand it. And it was an obligation.
You were obliged to go. And, you know.
Or else you'll sin against God if you don't go to
church. So that was me as a kid.
But something amazing happened when
I was 12 years old.
I came to know Jesus as a real person. He came
alive. He was no longer a statue. He was no longer
a subject that I studied in religion class.
He was there.
He loved me. It blew my world! And it rocked me to
the core.
12 year old kid. And I started loving Him, and
serving Him, and gave my life to Him.
And so, he was not like a chummy, chummy buddy,
buddy. You know, my friend. No. He was...
I told Him, "Whatever you want for my life,
that's what I want." And I struggled. I fell.
I sinned. I rebelled. I disobeyed. But
I still tried to love Him. And ask for help. And
ask for grace. That changed my life. And I never
left church. And I'm now 52. Yeah, yeah, yeah This is
the... I know, I know... I look younger.
I look 51.5, right? So...
The biggest reason why people leave church is
because they don't understand -- It's about Jesus.
You know, when I go to Mass, it's about Jesus. When
the bible reading... the first reading, the second
reading, the gospel, the response, are -- that's Jesus
speaking to me. Communion. OMG. Communion is the
most intimate moment encounter with God melting
in my tongue -- Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of
Jesus -- I received in my heart. Whoa!

real.

For others, it might be the first time you're
making this decision.

Apple doesn't care about the MacBook's temperature
Do you believe it?

I will show you how Apple as well as other window laptop brands
manage the temperature inside their laptops
Let's dig in
The reason why I say Apple doesn't care about the temperature on MacBook is that
Apple tends to remove all the TDP limitation
So, what is TDP?
and how does it affect on temperature on laptop?
Let me explain
Normally, each CPU has its own TDP limitation
for example, Core i7-8750H has 45W TDP
Core i7-8550U has 15W TDP
or the CPU equipped on this MacBook Air 2018 is Core i5-8210Y
it has 7W TDP
This is Thermal Design Power,
which is heat power the processor dissipates when operating
and according to the law of conservation of energy
the TDP is equivalent to the power consumption of cpu
To put it simply,
Laptop manufacturers will rely on this TDP figure
to build the proper thermal solution for their laptops
The higher TDP, the stronger CPU,
and the more power it needs to operate
So the thermal solution needs to be built all the way up to cool those CPU properly
This figure is provided by Intel
And manufacturers then have completely self-customization
And the fact that laptop brands
can customize the CPU will result in many problems that I will mention right below
Ok
Laptop manufacturers buy chip from Intel and then they customize it
If they want that CPU more cooler,
they just limit the CPU power consumption in the BIOS setting
this can be considered the tricks of manufacturers that very few people know
As for cheap gaming laptop,
The CPU power consumption of i7-8750H
is usually limited from 25-30W
And for premium gaming laptops,
their cooling system is very good
it allows i7-8750H consume up to 45W
maybe higher depending on different laptops
and so, CPU performance of premium laptops is
often stronger than cheap ones
Although they use the same CPU
Surprising?
What about MacBook?
As I said earlier, Apple removes all the TDP limitation
They configure the CPU to allow it to consume as much power as possible
That's the reason why
the CPU temperature on macbook
usually reaches 90 degrees Celsius
maybe 100
That's so hot
But Apple doesn't care
now, take this macbook air 2018 as an example,
CPU dual-core i5-8210Y is a very efficient processor
the power consumption of this CPU fluctuates around 7W
But in this MacBook Air, it reaches up to 10 or even 12W
and of course, the more power,
the higher temperature it would be
When I run sustained heavy workloads
this CPU often hovers at 100 degrees Celsius
That's so hot
Another MacBook which had a serious problem for the similar reason is
MacBook Pro 15 2018
when power consumption was not limited,
the thermal design of MacBook Pro 15 2018 can not cool the vrm system
so the performance decreased substantially
Apple then released new update which limited the power pouring into the Core i9-8950HK
So the temperature as well as the performance increased a lot
Ok, MacBook's temperature level tends to be very high when running heavy tasks
So have you ever wondered why nobody complains about this?
Nobody complains about the fact that
the CPU temperature on MacBook is very hot
This is because MacBook is business-oriented laptop
People buy MacBook for work
they don't play game, so they don't care about the temperature of their laptop
They just want their Laptop work stably and smoothly
and Apple completely meets these expectations thanks to well-optimized MacOS
when it comes to Window laptop, it is different
Many Window users are gamers,
and these people always prioritize the stability when playing game,
they find ways to optimize the performance,
And they know how their system works very well
So Window laptops are often criticized by user
If the CPU reaches 90 degrees Celsius, that's hot
some even claim that 80 degree Celsius, that's still hot
But for MacBook, 90, 95 or even 100 degrees Celsius
nobody complains
However, removing all the TDP limitation also has its own advantage
By doing this, the overall performance increases a lot
You know, when people first see MacBook's configuration
They tend to underappreciate it
They say It's too weak!
But you know, with the power management of MacBook,
the overall performance is acceptable

When buying most of MacBook
you have to accept the fact that the CPU temperature level is very high under heavy workloads
Although MacBook is a very good laptop for content creator,
I still expect that Apple will improve the thermal solution in the next generations

you just at the end of the day feel out of it if you
aren't dating the problem I had with dating is quite simple a lot of people

however some of you newer viewers might not feel the same way at all

am I going to marry

don't know how dating started and all that
but for me I come from a background of a lot of Prayer and my parents *have been very

with whoever I get to be friends with and I've learned to control that a bit

interested in unless I knew that I'm going to
end up marrying that person I
will not date so I haven't dated so far because it just
hasn't happened yet
everyone I've met who I've kind of been like
nice person and who
has returned that interest so like obviously it's a mutual thing right you
can't just take someone out when they are not interested so for people who
have been kind of interested in and or who have shown interest
I don't go out with them unless I know
that yeah
there's a huge possibility of me
marrying this person
and actually for me

cuz I don't have one
and this is not a hint
for one just make that clear
so I have this person in my life
I would really like to
know exactly where he likes to eat or what he likes to eat exactly what he
does in his free time like I would like to know as much detail about him as
possible so with God I feel
if you really want a relationship with Him it
will involve quite a bit of detail and this particular topic since I believe
that dating should ideally lead to marriage it's a huge thing like if I'm
asking him what I should wear each day this is something that I really need to know
from God and God is so good okay
when you *ask Him things like that He will
answer unless He doesn't want you to know He answers most of the things I
asked He answers sometimes it's not specific like I said sometimes He
doesn't
like the hard questions of life
usually He'll give me some vague answer
but when I get
specific in my requests He gets specific in His answers very
often it's not the answers I'm looking for
but
He answers so if if you are
curious like
what is she talking about
ask God man
ask God to break things down for
you if you want to know something in your life
ask God like don't go and look
up a horoscope you might find your answer but God can tell you so much more
and it's so much cooler
so that is why I haven't dated so far

not have known that I realize

Hi Vanders and welcome to a brand new episode of Living with the Vanders and
yes it is right, it is Thursday when you are watching this and normally
I only upload episodes on Monday, but I got so many requests from you guys that you
miss the regular uploads and I personally miss it as well because
I feel much more connected with you guys when I upload more so I decided from now on
to upload two times a week
I know that lots and lots of you guys and miss
the workouts, although I have so many workouts online on my channel
Well... therefore I will also be uploading some workout videos
So some Thursday's it will be an extra episode of Living With The Vanders and
some Thursday's it will be a workout that I will do here in the beautiful
nature of Cape Town to show you guys some of my moves, some of my current
routines, because I know you guys are so interested in that and then let's
quickly move on with today's episode
first of all I want to continue a little bit
with the 'what I eat in a day' or week video that I did previously and show you
guys the delicious breakfast that I had because oh my god
and then after breakfast I thought okay this day is going to be perfect I just
had the most amazing meal ever, I feel energized and then I was so super
shocked because I saw this:

We saw like ten helicopters with sand bags and the whole mountain is on fire

Yes you heard me right, there were so many fires in Cape Town it was crazy and
it did not show up on camera as much, because it was super hard to zoom in
because as you guys know if you film with the camera everything seems further
away than it actually is in real life, but it was so threatening and we were
super close to mountain so I was just very afraid but for us it was still
doable like we could feel the fire in our eyes and like the smoke, the scent of it
was coming to us and Fadi couldn't sleep all night because of it
but it wasn't that we needed to evacuate whereas some of the people that I know
actually lived well very, very close to that mountain and they needed to
evacuate their homes and it was just so terrifying because of course you hear
about all the fires that happened in California and I was just so afraid that
this would be the same kind of scenario in Cape Town and that so many houses
will burn down or people would get hurt and I know that some of my friends they
were climbing on the Table Mountain and I did not know that they went that day
or another day but it just seems so terrifying that it was so close and
I had never experienced a fire like this
Firefighters are still battling to contain a fire which is burning between
the Signal Hill and Lions Head Mountains in the Cape Peninsula, the blaze started
yesterday afternoon and was fanned by strong winds, reporting has more
- Yeah well we lived down the road we heard about it by the news and we could
smell it from our apartment really really concerned
it was all over the
news stations in Cape Town and everybody in the model group chat that we have
with their agency took photos of it, it looked insane so I was super happy when
it kind of blew off and it didn't seem to be as bad as we thought it would be
- It cleared up! That's nice
- Maybe it's not that bad after all
I mean it's just pine trees
It's just when it goes, when it grows too big and the wind blows like the little particles
because that's what happen in LA and all people you know they have like
wooden houses, so when a little particle just like hits your house it gets on fire

I would never live in a wooden house
- But here the houses are actually good quality
Yeah that's what I was saying, like real-estate here is so good
I feel it just like very accessible to build so if people just spend
more on the actual building, like in Amsterdam 80 or 90% of your house cost is just the ground

And so the following day we could move on with our lives with yet another

been reading loads here in Cape Town, so the books that I've actually read
because I got this question so much on Instagram: What kind of books do you read?
well I love John Green I've read Looking for Alaska the book
with the Katherines, I don't know what it's called and Paper Towns so a lot of books
from John Green, which I personally love so much obviously I'm still reading the
best book of all time The Magic and every day I'm doing the challenges
If you don't know what I'm talking about at all, in the what I eat in a week episode
I tell you guys more about it but basically is a book written by Ronda
Byrne that has also written The Secret hopefully you guys know that book and
it's all about how you can attract more gratitude in your life and with
gratitude you will get more of what you want because if you're appreciative of
what you have you will get more of that, because like attracts like and this all
has to do with a lot of attraction which I find super interesting so if you're
also into that then give it a go, because it's a huge recommendation and every day
you do an exercise and sometimes it has to do with food you sprinkle magic dust on
your food, other times has to do with money you have to write on a dollar bill
that you're grateful for the money that you have and it's just exercises that
keep you mindful and keep you grateful for what you have and then a book that I
lately finished well actually I finished it yesterday was so much fun it's got in
her shoes and it's about the founder, well the co-founder of Jimmy Choo: Tamara Mellon
and she is such an amazing business babe and of course since I'm
starting my own clothing line I wanted some advice from somebody in the fashion
world, because I definitely need it and it's a lot more than you think about
because you have to think about suppliers and you have to think about
packaging and how to send it and how to do everything, so I've been working on it
for the longest time because besides the hoodie and the t-shirt so many other products
will be coming your way and I really hope you're gonna love them as much as I do
because I've been spending lots of time on that as well but of course
I always make time to read even though I'm busy because it just relaxes me so much
and I learn so much from it even from the John Green books you
learn lessons about life and also do non-fiction books I just really loved that
So if you have any recommendations that are kind of in line with books
I mentioned that I would HIGHLY appreciate that and then that was it that was the

have been following the builds you saw that it took us several months to find a
replacement axle for this fortunately we grabbed the third member
from that car as well at the time we thought it would be a spare but it turns
out we're going to need it for this so the next steps are gonna be to clean
that one up get it welded because we need all the traction we can get and
then haul ass get this thing back together and hopefully make a race if
