Trump to sign border bill but vows emergency declaration to get wall - Duration: 1:54.
here's President Donald Trump will sign a border security and federal spending
bill to avoid another government shutdown but he's also going to declare
a national emergency to try to obtain funds for his us-mexico border wall I
know Adam has more the bipartisan legislation was passed by the Senate on
Thursday before going to the democratic-led House of Representatives
of final congressional approval it includes one point four billion dollars
in funding for border security denying Trump the near six billion dollars he
had demanded for his wall to get the necessary funding White House press
secretary Sarah Saunders said in a statement that the president would be
declaring a national emergency to stop what she called a humanitarian crisis at
the border that means Trump would be bypassing
Congress by using military funds Trump had warned of such a move but some
Republicans argued it would only set a dangerous precedent
however GOP leader Mitch McConnell indicated his support for the move
reversing his earliest stance unsurprisingly Democrats reacted angrily
to the announcement Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic
leader Chuck Schumer issued a joint statement accusing Trump of committing a
quote gross abuse of power and a lawless Act Pelosi also suggested taking legal
action should the president make an emergency declaration did I ever say I
was finally a legal challenge I may that's an option and we'll review our
options but it's important to note that when the president declares this
emergency first of all it's not an emergency what's happening at the border
it's manatorian challenge to us the president has tried
to sell a bill of goods to America but putting that aside just in terms of the
president making an end-run around Congress Lord I'm Arirang news

I have so much to say but I'm afraid of even taking the first step! - Duration: 4:05.
hello there I got a question the other day what or how do I start if I have so
much to say but I don't even know how to take that first step this is someone who
had reached out to me because I'm doing a public speaking workshop and they told
me they had heard my presentation and get very powerful motivating
presentation about them being awesome which they are you are too and they
basically said I know I have something of value and I know the world needs to
hear it I just don't know what I need to do so I believe in myself so I can get
there or what I should do to take the next step so what I encourage people to
do is actually kind of simple it that is to take an inspired or a a a decisive
mode or a decision that actually just feels right in other words take action
and take inspired action so don't just move for the sake of moving because that
is kind of drudgery feels like you're not really going anywhere
so take inspired action when you get yourself in a really really really
charged State feel awesome and powerful and then say I want to go there cuz you
know what what you want to do but that is the time to ask yourself because that
is when the divine is flowing through you and expressing the magnificence that
it is through you and it is really asking you express yourself so listen in
that moment to whatever the spark is whatever the action is and then you'll
feel great you'll probably do better than you expected
and then the next logical step so that would be my encouragement for this woman
that could be take my public speaking workshop it could be make that phone
call it could be write that email it could be
forgive that person do what feels right do what you're
called to do because the sooner you get moving
the sooner you're living in the passion the flow State the place where you are
supposed to be so please for all of us who need you to beat your highest
expression take action that moves forward it it should feel right when you
do it it should not feel super hard there may be certain aspects that you
need to ask is this in action I'm taking now an insecurity so there may be parts
of that happening which may cause the inaction or the fear of failure or
whatever is causing the supreme in action but most times the next simple
step should feel easy the decision to do it should be easy I'm not saying the
step itself is simple but that's easy oh yeah actually do this next so people
often ask you what the heck do I do now that is how I respond is usually when
you get up in a fired-up state the answer will flow through you which is
great because it makes your job easier any other questions I appreciate it
I'm actually having I have a few not a lot but a couple spots left on Sunday I
have a public speaking workshop so if you have interest and you want to become
a better speaker yourself if you want to be like this person who reached out to
me and better express your gift your message that is the workshop that will
help you to learn how to do that better any questions just shoot me a message
and I'll be more than happy to help you I look forward to hearing you whenever
your voice is fully expressed if it is now I hope I hear it more frequently so
all the best have an amazing rest of your day bye bye

Possible hotels for Kim and Trump say their bookings are full, but security is not too tight yet - Duration: 2:31.
so in less than two weeks away from the second North Korea summit Viet Nam's
foreign minister and protocol chief wrapped up their visit to the north on
Thursday and now we're expecting the to negotiating size of Vietnam to put their
summit preparations into high gear for more or less connecter easy one who is
in the host city of Hanoi that's you and tell us where you are and do you see any
signs that preparations have already started soon I'm now standing in front
of the Sofitel legend Metropole Hanoi now this is one of the likely places
where North Korean leader Kim jong-un is to stay during his summit with President
Donald Trump nips next week now the security here isn't ITA ask the hotel
reception about the room availability they said they cannot take reservations
from February 25th to 28th because it's almost full and also as they have quote
delegations staying here now when I try to confirm if she means the North Korean
delegation will be staying in the hotel she said it's confidential there are a
number of other places that have been mentioned for Kim stay including de
Melia Hanoi and the state guesthouse that's located very close to the North
Korean embassy but when we called email yeah Hanoi they said the delegation will
be staying elsewhere and neither side seemed to have any ongoing preparations
for a state leaders visit from what we saw outside now yesterday we also went
to the JW Marriott hotel that's where president Trump is widely expected to
stay the security wasn't too tight there yet but we did have some difficulties we
were approached by the hotel personnel telling us that we can only film the
hotel close up with our phones and the Vietnam National Convention Center just
next day JW Marriott seemed to be tighter on security it's speculated to
be the summit venue but we were blocked from passing by the street next to it or
even filming it all right chew on that what's the
atmosphere like there and the Vietnamese people excited for this historic event
happening in their country yes Jian oh well we went to the North Korean embassy
late last night but there was no significant sign of preparations for the
summit and as for locals they don't really seem to be aware or that bothered
of the upcoming historic summit they all seem to be going about their daily lives
and that's all from me for now but I will be updating updating you on the
latest from here Hanoi

Possible hotels for Kim and Trump say their bookings are full, but security is not too tight yet - Duration: 2:41.
Vietnam's foreign minister and protocol chief wrapped up their visit to North Korea, and
now, we're expecting the two negotiating sides and the host country to put their summit preparations
into high gear.
To get updated on the situation, let's go straight to our Lee Ji-won, standing by in
Hanoi.
Ji-won, do fill us in on some of the tell-tale signs of how the host city is getting ready.
Daniel, behind me is the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, that's where President Donald Trump
is expected to stay during his summit with Kim Jong-un in two week's time.
The reception says rooms are fully booked as they have a big team staying over that
period, without giving more details.
And it seems security's gotten a bit tight, especially when we tried to film the hotel.
We were approached by hotel personnel, telling us that we can only film the hotel close up
with our phones.
Meanwhile earlier in the day we were over at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, one
of the possibilities for Kim Jong-un's hotel.
That's around 10 kilometers away from the JW Marriott.
The security there was much more lax, but they were also not taking any reservations
from February 25th to 28th.
When I asked them, they said the rooms are almost full and also that they have (quote)
"delegations staying."
When I tried to confirm if they mean that the North Korean delegation will be staying
at the hotel, the reception said it's confidential.
Okay then Ji-won how about the summit venue?
We have one place that's widely expected to host the event right?
Yes you're right Daniel.
Many of us are speculating that the Vietnam National Convention Center will be the summit
venue.
That's where the 2006 APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting and the 2010 ASEAN Summit were held.
It's really just a five minute walk from JW Marriott,... but the security was much tighter.
All roads leading to the center were blocked, and we weren't even allowed to walk past the
street next to it.
But this may not be necessarily due to the summit as locals say it's normally a high-security
area.
Another place where we saw lots of surveillance was the North Korean embassy.
While we couldn't see any significant preparations, there was a sign in front saying 'no entrance'
and the guards in front of the gate were watching us with keen eyes.
The North Korean officials also blocked windows with a cover, something that wasn't there
a few weeks ago.
It's reported that, according to a local police officer, the embassy had been designated as
a special security area by the Vietnam police earlier this week.
That's all from me for now Daniel.

Celtic named as 21st BIGGEST club in world... but Rangers not on the list - Duration: 2:55.
There was no place on the list for their fiercest rivals Rangers, however. They were the only Scottish team on the list comprised of 30 teams that included some of the giants of European football
Perhaps the fact that Rangers haven't been able to rival Celtic competitively in recent years may have something to do with their exclusion
Celtic have won 49 league Scottish league titles, while Rangers have won 54 in their history
Celtic, though, are going for their 50th this season, and are looking in good stead in the league to do so, as they sit six points ahead of their Glasgow rivals
France Football's criteria for their list were as follows: Number of players in current squad to have won a World Cup
Continent level titles won. Shirts sold per year. Annual revenue. Record transfer fee paid
Average attendance. Market value of current squad. Ballon d'Or trophies won since 1956
Social media followers. Clubs with the biggest mythical status. Celtic received most of their points from the 'average attendance' category, with 12
The Glaswegian club are sandwiched in between Borussia Monchengladbach and Egyptian outfit Al-Ahly
The top 30 are: 1. Real Madrid 2. Barcelona 3. Manchester United 4. Bayern Munich 5
Liverpool 6. Juventus 7. PSG 8. Chelsea 9. Manchester City 10. Arsenal 11. AC Milan 12
Borussia Dortmund 13. Atletico Madrid 14. Tottenham 15. Inter Milan 16. Ajax 17
Marseille 18. Boca Juniors 19. Benfica 20. Borussia Monchengladbach 21. Celtic 22
Al-Ahly 23. Schalke 24. Stuttgart 25. Roma 26. Monaco 27. Galatasaray 28. Independiente 29

Jurgen Klopp All But Rules Key Defender Out of Bayern Clash With Virgil van Dijk Already Absent - Duration: 2:19.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has issued an update on the fitness of Dejan Lovren, with most signs pointing to the centre-back missing the club's upcoming Champions League first leg clash with Bayern Munich
Lovren has played just 13 times for the Reds this season. He started the campaign with a pelvis issue, making his first Premier League appearance in October against Manchester City, and a hamstring injury sustained against Wolves in January has been keeping him out ever since
Lovren did not travel with the rest of the squad for their warm weather training camp in Marbella and, speaking to the club's official website, Klopp admitted he has not been planning for next week's European tie with the Croatian in mind
"I don't want to rule it out but I cannot really plan with it," Klopp explained
"He is not here for good reasons, because he cannot be part of training. We are back on Friday
Then from Saturday on, Dejan is back at Melwood and we will see. But, of course, we have to prepare it differently
" And, though Liverpool are set to be without the titanic presence of Virgil van Dijk for the first leg at Anfield due to suspension, Klopp all but confirmed that Lovren would not be risked unless he made a miraculous recovery by Monday
Sadio Mane could have been on the other side of the pitch when Liverpool play Bayern Munich next week! https://t
co/IKcjW6xzAL— 90min (@90min_Football) February 14, 2019 He continued: "If Dejan gives a sign on Monday – 'I feel brilliant' – then we'd have to think anew
But in the moment we prepare the game and in this preparation Dejan is not involved
We have to find other solutions."

5 Tips ALL Streamers Should Know But Dont! - Duration: 6:19.
I'm gonna show you five things that all twitch streamers need to know or you're
gonna learn it the hard way let's go!
Hey it's me it's wild coming at you for my
stream support playlist where I bring you the best tips and tricks and if this
is your first time here and you want to learn how to grow and improve at your
stream make sure you hit that big red subscribe button and tick that bell you
know when my videos go live for you and hey it any point in this video if you
like the products or the services that I'm talking about I did you all a favor
I put all the links in the show notes below so make sure you check it out so
it can be tough to be a twitch streamer out there and to be honest there's not a
lot of places where you can find a lot of pertinent information that's gonna
help you out and be better but there's five things that I really want to get
off my chest that I think a lot of people need to know so that way you can
tackle these when they happen to you number one is all about knowing how to
refund a game if you buy games on Steam a lot of people don't know that you can
refund those games within a certain time limit and being a streamer video games
cost a lot of money especially if you're gonna be a variety streamer so getting
educated on how to refund games is gonna save you money in the long run if you're
taking a chance on something that you think is gonna help you grow but doesn't
have much of an impact or better yet it's kind of a crappy game you should
refund it and move on tip number two is if you get any money transfers donations
tips or support or whatever you call it do not touch it for sixty days most of
you out there have PayPal transactions take care of all of your funds that go
back and forth between all the people that support you and whatever you call
it donations tips transfers a money support they're all transactions which
means they can all be declined and charged back and if you spent all the
money within that 60 days you're on the hook for getting that money back so
don't shut don't touch any of the money for 60 days and then you can start to
make it come out of your account this is a big one make sure you're aware of it
since we're talking about money one of the biggest questions I always get asked
are donations taxable look donations like we said before can be named
whatever you want donate tips support transfers of money they're
all transactions into your income which means they're all reportable so what you
need to do is you need to set money aside that you're gonna report to the
government at the end of the year and the easiest way to do that is you know
put aside whatever tax bracket you're in for most of you it's probably gonna be
somewhere between 25 and 35 percent if there's one thing you want to do is not
mess with the IRS for tip number four is be careful of what you say about other
streamers on the platform you have to realize the digital walls they have ears
and word transfers very quickly into other streams if you're saying negative
things about other people try to keep drama at a minimum because it's just
gonna spark up stuff that's gonna really make you depressed or give you anxiety
or there's gonna cause situations of backstabbing and divide your community
really be conscious of what you're gonna say about other streamers out there we
can do a whole stream about this or I'm sorry we can do a whole video about this
if you guys are interested but I just want to bring it to your attention about
if you're gonna speak about somebody else and their channel and this goes for
a variety of things like certain information about that particular person
or the way they stream or the way they handle things just be very conscious of
how you're gonna talk about others and present them one of the lessons you're
gonna learn on Twitch the hard way is people will leave and they'll leave for
good and sometimes they'll leave because they found somebody more entertaining or
more engaging and the whole point about this tip is don't be bitter people are
gonna find other people that they resonate with for a variety of different
reasons look I'm just an average man just doing my average thing and I've got
above-average hair that's my only asset that I have when I stream I try to be
engaging I try to be charismatic I try to have fun I try to make people smile
and I try to make them laugh but you know I'm not gonna resonate with
everybody and at some point people have been watching me for a while may
discover other people that are bigger and better or just have something that
they can deliver to that other crowd or community and you know don't let it get
you down in addition to this tip people that
watched you at the beginning may not watch you at the middle and may not
watch you at the end you know people have lives they go on they go on to
college they start families they meet new people
some people will leave you and the whole thing I want to get across on this is
please please please don't be depressed if people start leaving your community
there's nothing you can do about it you have to refine your streams to start
making you attractive to all these different people out there that can
funnel into your stream so you can keep growing and keep growing your base as
you go because people eventually will either get tired of the platform or just
move on and I speak from experience on this one
I have had people that have watched me day in and day out just suddenly vanish
I've had people that would watch me all the time and then stop and then I notice
they're in another channel a lot of times and then you know there's always
ones where people come in and they're a huge support of your your community and
become part of your personal life in your streaming life and then all of a
sudden you get ghosted and it really sucks and it gets you depress and I
don't want that for you but if I can make you anticipate the fact that this
will happen eventually you can be prepared for it and that's all I want
because this can be one of the hard lessons you'll discover on live
streaming platforms look streaming is not easy and there's a lot of things
that are gonna affect you throughout your streaming adventure and your
streaming career but these are five things that I never see anybody ever
really talked about on Twitch Facebook mixer in YouTube and there are important
things so I just want to bring them to your attention and if you guys have
anything that nobody seems to ever talk about on their streaming channel or
giving tips about you know what to do leave me a comment below and I will see
what I can do to make a video about that to help you guys be more impactful on
your streaming channels and if you want to keep up with me and my content don't
be afraid to follow me on Twitch and Instagram and if you like what you see
here you're probably gonna like what you see on over at twitch.tv/Wild4Games
and if you do like it don't be afraid to hit the almighty subscribe
button thank you to those that already have I will see you all in my next
stream support video coming up real soon take care all peace

Jabeur: 'I know I'm talented, but talent without work is nothing' - Duration: 4:30.
Ahead of next week's Dubai Duty Free Championships, Tunisian trailblazer Ons Jabeur opens up about her unconventional journey from a country with little tennis history to a current career-high ranking in the Top 60
-A +AWTA StaffFebruary 15, 2019 DUBAI, UAE - When it comes to trailblazing in tennis, few have done it quite like Tunisia's Ons Jabeur, who has racked up milestone after milestone not only for her country but her region
The 24-year-old became the first Arab player to win a junior Grand Slam title at Roland Garros in 2011, and then six years later at the same venue to reach the third round of a senior Grand Slam
Last year, Jabeur capped off a career-best season by becoming the first Arab WTA finalist in Moscow, where she beat Sloane Stephens and Anastasija Sevastova before falling to Daria Kasatkina - and she currently sits at a career-high ranking of World No
56, once again the best peak set by an Arab woman. View this post on Instagram She's here and she wants to fight 🥊 Bring it on @selimasfar 🥊😁 #fun #boxingA post shared by Ons Jabeur (@onsjabeur) on Jan 30, 2019 at 3:58am PST Ahead of her appearance at next week's Dubai Duty Free Championships, Jabeur opened up to Reem Abulleil of The National about what it's taken to get this far
"I didn't have a good team behind me," she explained about the six years it took her to crack the Top 100 after her junior success
"No one could tell me what to do because we come from a country where tennis is not really popular, so maybe I was missing someone who can tell me what to do, tell me where to go - and fortunately I was able to do that on my own
"I was trying to see how players practice on tour, I was trying to be there with the professionals because it was something new for me and new for my country - it was kind of difficult
But I'm happy it came now, at least it came. For many players it didn't come at all and they gave up before reaching the ranking they want
" 2011 Roland Garros girls' champion Ons Jabeur with runner-up Monica Puig From a young age, Jabeur faced high expectations due to her precocious shotmaking skills - now evident on a regular basis for Tour audiences, such as the phenomenal pickup with which she won October 2018's Shot of the Month
But it took her a number of years to figure out the kind of set-up she wanted around her
"I learned from also choosing my team, I'm not 16 or 17 anymore," she explained. "When I was 17 I had coaches who tried to control me, tried to do things that I didn't like and I couldn't say no
I was just working until I couldn't take it anymore and I would explode. I learned to say no and now I'm growing up and I think I can make my own decisions
"Please enable Javascript to watch this video To this end, her team now includes French coach Bertrand Perret and husband and fitness trainer Karim Kamoun
It's a truism in sports that talent without a work ethic won't get an athlete far, but Jabeur points out that the opposite also holds
"Many people were telling me how talented I am - I know I'm talented, but talent without work is nothing and talent with so much work is also nothing," she said
"I was trying to have good balance and everyone tells you to work, work, work - but I'm not an animal, I need to rest also
I think sometimes I was working too hard and there was no results and I got annoyed and probably didn't win any matches, I wasn't enjoying maybe being on the court
" Now, though, everything is pointing in the right direction for Jabeur - who says that she dreamed of winning Roland Garros at the age of six, and even though "everybody laughed", she still has that goal in her sights
"I know I have a huge opportunity to be one of the greatest players and I'm really working on it," she declared

New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey for a massive infrastructure program that would try to fight climate change and remedy inequality at the same time. The nations largest business lobby took all of two hours to bash it.
Under the "Green New Deal" proposal, the US Chamber of Commerce , "government asserts control over most of our economy, passing along the enormous costs and bureaucratic inefficiencies to everyday Americans." It likened the plan to "failed socialist policies that have plagued many other countries over time."
Its still only a loose framework that calls for de carbonizing every sector of the US economy without offering discrete legislative proposals. But the resolution does clearly envision a much larger role for government in projects like overhauling buildings to be more energy efficient, expanding high speed rail to reduce air travel, and funding research on low emissions manufacturing.
The federal government, it says, could generate better value for taxpayers by retaining ownership of those projects rather than leaving them up to the private sector.
"Were not saying thaat there isnt a role for private sector investments," read an FAQ that accompanied the rollout. "Were just saying that the level of investment required will need every actor to pitch in and that the government is best placed to be the prime driver of the investment program."
Private sector investment in public infrastructure like railroads and airports has since the Great Recession, for reasons that havent been entirely clear. Some analysts say that layers of permitting and regulation make it too unpredictable and time consuming to put dollars into ambitious new projects that might never break ground. Others think the problem is that tax credit programs that make infrastructure financing more profitable — that is, more appealing — for investors arent big enough.
The opposition
But heres what Wall Street agrees on: Plenty of private capital exists to fund big new projects. And theyd rather invest their own funds than have the government pay for it by raising taxes — especially on the richest Americans, whom Ocasio Cortez has suggested would be her first target.
"Why we would want to raise the national debt any higher, or get another trillion dollars through Congress, which is impossible, is beyond me," says , a Texas based consultant who advises investors on public private partnerships with local governments. "There are plenty of companies already out there doing it. I dont think its the federal governments place to compete with them."
Green New Dealers say that climate change is a national emergency that has to be dealt with via the government, rather than waiting for the private sector.
But another problem, from an investors perspective, is that meeting the aggressive goal of moving to 100 percent clean and renewable energy by 2030 will require retiring a lot of existing infrastructure, such as natural gas power plants and polluting factories, before its lifespan runs out.
That creates a potential financial pothole, says Jason Grumet, the president of the Bipartisan Policy Center, which runs an "." The council is composed of trade groups representing financial services and construction companies, utilities, manufacturers, and building trades unions.
"We have trillions of dollars of sunk costs in the current economy," Grumet says. "You dont accelerate the future by messing up the present."
Stripping away regulations
For many investors, the most disappointing part of the Green New Deal is what it doesnt include: A promise to strip away regulations, such as environmental reviews that can drag out approvals and throw unexpected obstacles in the path of new projects.
Thats what President Donald Trumps infrastructure plan focused on, along with various incentives for private financing, before it died a quiet death soon after of last year. DJ Gribbin, who crafted that plan and has since joined an infrastructure finance firm, thinks the New Dealers could get more bang for their buck by picking up that piece of his approach.
"If they want to increase private participation, the key would be to streamline the permitting process and remove outdated federal rules governing procurement, revenue raising, operations, and tax treatment," Gribbin says.
Growing green investment
Plenty of investors are already shifting their portfolios towards clean energy projects like wind and solar plants, spurred in part by states like California and New York, which have set ambitious renewable energy goals of their own.
"If you look at slow money long time horizon investments, this is definitely an interesting place to be," says Mona Dajani, a renewable energy infrastructure attorney for the law firm Pillsbury.
And most investors arent panicking about the more ideological parts of the Green New Deal as articulated in Ocasio Cortez resolution, like providing healthcare and housing for all.
At the moment, Wall Street doesnt actually believe the enthusiasm among Democrats for the idea of a Green New Deal will result in a government takeover of existing assets, or set free enough public funding to displace private finance, given the political reality in Washington for at least the next two years.
"At the end of the day, I do believe that it will have a tangible impact on corporate America," Dajani says. "But theres no detail, it needs to be much more refined. If something like this does pass, its not going to look like what theyre proposing."
