Youtube daily but Feb 2 2019

The January transfer window is now firmly shut, with Premier League clubs spending a total of £138million over the month

The biggest deals saw Gonzalo Higuain move on loan to Chelsea , Arsenal draft in Denis Suarez on a temporary deal from Barcelona and Dominic Solanke make the switch from Liverpool to Bournemouth

But what of the moves that got away?  For every successful transfer there is usually one that doesn't quite make it over the line, and that was no different in this window

Here are the moves that didn't quite get completed in time and the reasons why they fell by the wayside

Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang to Arsenal  At one stage it looked highly likely that the Gunners would bring in Belgian midfielder Yannick Carrasco as well as Suarez

The club were in negotiations with Chinese club Dalian Yifang over a loan move, and it seemed only a matter of time before the deal was announced

It all collapsed, however, due to a disagreement over the loan fee. There was also internal upheaval at the club when the news broke that head of recruitment Sven Mslintat would be leaving

Arsenal fans will no doubt be disappointed that they couldn't capture Carrasco, who would have added an extra option to their beleaguered midfield

Christopher Nkunku from PSG to Arsenal  Arsenal were also left frustrated in their attempts to sign young Paris Saint-Germain starlet Christopher Nkunku

The sticking point again appears to have been the size of the loan fee, with the French club demanding more than the Gunners were willing to pay for the 21-year-old midfielder

It meant that Arsenal ended up with only one signing, something which will no doubt be lamented by both supporters and manager Unai Emery himself

Idrissa Gueye from Everton to PSG  Toffees fans will no doubt be breathing a sigh of relief that they managed to hold onto one of their star players after a move to PSG never materialised for Idrissa Gueye

The Senegalese international handed in a transfer request in a bid to seal the transfer, but Everton rejected a bid of £26

5m from PSG.  They did not return with a higher offer, meaning the 29-year-old will stay at Goodison Park until at least the summer

It will be interesting to see how Gueye reacts to the disappointment of being denied the move, and whether his performances could suffer as a result

Nicolo Barella from Cagliari to Chelsea  It was reported mid-way through the transfer window that Chelsea were willing to shell out an eye-watering £45m to secure the services of Italian star Nicolo Barella

The 21-year-old has impressed in Serie A this season, and Chelsea boss Mauricio Sarri is known to be a big fan of the player

However, as well as the high fee being a stumbling block, Barella's wife is six months pregnant, and it is thought that the player does not want to leave Italy until the baby is born

Although Cagliari kept their man this time, this may be a potential move to keep an eye when the window opens again in the summer

Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea to Bayern Munich  Chelsea fans were furious when news broke that the club may be willing to let one of their hottest young talents, Callum Hudson-Odoi, move to Bayern Munich

The Bavarian club were alleged to have made a total of four bids for the player over January, with the last worth a total of £35m

Hudson-Odoi also seemed keen on the move, and even handed in a transfer request in a bid to make it happen

In the end, however, the Blues resisted temptation, claiming the player is a big part of their future plans

They will be all too aware of Hudson-Odoi's itchy feet, however, and will surely have to give the 18-year-old more first-team opportunities if he is to stay at Stamford Bridge

Suarez signs, Ozil and Ramsey stay but no winger - Arsenal's window rated - Duration: 8:00.

Players signed  Only one new face came in at Arsenal this month, though with not a single penny available to spent on permanent fees adding a former Barcelona player into the mix feels like an achievement in itself

However it is hard not to question whether Denis Suarez was the man this squad needed

Injuries have taken their toll on a defence that continually seems one quality centre-back short whilst there has been a chronic lack of pace on the flanks since Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott left a year ago

Though Unai Emery insists Suarez can play on the flanks recent years have seen him play more often than not as a central playmaker, a position where Arsenal already had Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alex Iwobi and Emile Smith Rowe

It would be fair to say it was not an area of need.    Still Emery's experience with Suarez at Sevilla has convinced him of his quality and, should the Spaniard impress, a £2m loan fee and £18m option would be a bargain deal

Players sold  Only one player permanently left Arsenal this season, with Academy prospect Daniel Barden going to Norwich

The Gunners might have liked to trim back their wage bill further but no serious interest materialised for Carl Jenkinson and Mohamed Elneny

The former may well have further opportunities in the coming weeks with Hector Bellerin sidelined but Arsenal would have been keen to have on from Elneny, who was of interest to Roma

Mesut Ozil was another whose future dominated the agenda during January. Arsenal would have looked favourably on any bid to take on the German's £350,000-a-week wages but he remains a part of Emery's squad for the time being

Whether much interest will appear for the 30-year-old at the end of the season is a matter of some doubt

Aaron Ramsey has already put plans in place for where he will be playing in the 2019-20 campaign

He will join Juventus for free when his contract expires.  The Italian champions never showed any great interest in paying the £15m-£20m Arsenal would have wanted to sell the Welsh international early

The Gunners will now hope Ramsey makes enough of an impact in the coming months to justify their forgoing of a transfer fee

Players loaned  Suarez was the loan addition whilst two young prospects headed out of Arsenal on a temporary basis

Emiliano Martinez joined Reading, where the Gunners hope he will be able to prove his worth as a potential back-up to Bernd Leno when Petr Cech retires in May

After Eddie Nketiah's switch to Augsburg collapsed, Emile Smith Rowe was the only outgoing

RB Leipzig have no option to make his five-month loan permanent but will hope to be able to take the playmaker for a further season

Arsenal have big hopes for the youngster and no side of the deal ever pursued that purchase clause

How Arsenal's business compared to their rivals  For the top six the January window ought to be a market of last recourse, a place to solve any outstanding issues in the squad

Picture special: Denis Suarez's first day as an Arsenal player View gallery  Indeed it was only Arsenal and Chelsea who made any additions at all of the sextet, so the Gunners might feel that bringing in Denis Suarez gives them more of an edge over Manchester United and Tottenham, both of whom stood pat

Business that didn't get done  Arsenal had hoped to get one more midfielder in before the window closed but their hopes of bringing in either Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan or Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang were snuffed out long before the final hours of the window

Trying to secure either of these players, valued by their clubs at around £30m, for a loan with a purchase option was always going to be a challenge and it proved well beyond them, with their loan offer for Carrasco in particular being well short of the Chinese club's expectations

The Gunners also tried to bring in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku but that deal collapsed for similar reasons

The Parisians wanted to agree a new contract with the 21-year-old if he was to go to Arsenal with only an option in the loan deal and there was far too little time to realistically get that done

A centre-back was never a realistic option but it is likely they will look to strengthen their defence in the summer

How does Arsenal's transfer window rate?  James Benge (senior football correspondent): Arsenal had no money to spend on permanent transfers this month, a remarkable reality for the seventh largest club in world football and a damning indictment both of the previous hierarchy's largesse with the wage bill and an owner who has not once put money into the club

With that borne in mind getting a high-grade player such as Suarez into the club is impressive work from head of football Raul Sanllehi and the rest of the recruitment department

However it is hard to shake the feeling that the 25-year-old was not who Arsenal needed

Add Carrasco or Perisic to this team and there are real options for Emery in attacking areas

Suarez feels like more of the same. 5/10  Greg Johnson (editor in chief): Unai Emery is a head coach who knows what he wants

That has been clear in how he has gone about his work in the first half of the season and on issues such as Mesut Ozil's role in the team

However, it seems odd to see Suarez arrive as the solution out wide. The Spaniard has good qualities, and can create danger with his crosses from deep, but he isn't the sort of player to run to the byline and stretch teams, which is why the links to Perisic and Carrasco did make sense

Given the injuries Arsenal have suffered this season, and bringing in only one loan signing when Emery wanted two, it all felt a bit like treading water for the Gunners in January

It is vital that they qualify for the Champions League and make the most of the summer transfer window, but then fans already knew that

  6/10

Buckethead Loves Slunks - but What is a Slunk ?? - Duration: 5:07.

Good evening everybody. So Buckethead loves slunks? But, what the (bleep) is a slunk?

Whether you've been a fan of Buckethead for a long time or you're just discovering the wonderful world of 'bucketheadland'.

You will have some point come across the word 'Slunk'.

From album titles to song names to slunk passes. There's bloody slunks everywhere! So, what is it?

If you google the word slunk, it'll give you a few possible answers.

"Slunk meaning: Being both slutty and drunk simultaneously"

And after eliminating the one's it couldn't possibly be You'll be left with…

a calf that was either born prematurely or aborted.

Yep, that sounds just like something Buckethead would be into.

"Stuff it up a cows ass" (Maximum Bob)

But, how do we know thats what it means to Buckethead?

"Duct tape it in real tight and turn it on" (Maximum Bob)

One of the first times the word 'Slunk' is mentioned is by Bill Moseley from the song 'Jowls' from Bucketheads 1999 album 'Monsters & Robots'.

"Save me the Slunk" (Bill Moseley)

But it wasn't until a few years later, after several more mentions of the word 'Slunk', when buckethead released the album 'Cyborg slunks' and gave us the full definition of a slunk.

Inside the Cyborg Slunks booklet there's a long story detailing the backstory of the slunk. If you wanna pause it and read it (english only) go ahead, but the short version of the story is:-

Bucketheads arch nemesis 'Slipdisc' has returned to destroy buckethead and his theme park, with, a robot wearing the skins of deformed cows, also known as a cyborg slunk.

So because of this, we know that Bucketheads definition of a Slunk is a cow.

Whether it's premature, aborted, a fetus, deformed or a cyborg, it's a cow.

This is further confirmed by the cover of the 2009 album 'Needle in a slunk stack'. Showing a pile of dead cows. Nice.

"Boy that will make you feel so good if you got a muscle binged up but not for cows" (Maximum Bob)

So, whenever you see a Buckethead album or song mentioning a 'Slunk', just think of a bloody, deformed, aborted cow and then it should all make sense.

Uh, most of the time.

Trump Admin Boasts About Drug Bust, But The REAL Opioid Criminals Are Still Free - Duration: 5:50.

So earlier this week it was announced that the United States had basically made the largest

fentanyl drug bust in the history of this country.

Two hundred and 54 pounds of fentanyl discovered in the back of a cucumber truck at a legal

port of entry, uh, in the American southwest, a Donald Trump and the administration said,

say, this proves why we need a wall.

We've got these drugs coming in, but we made this bust.

We're awesome.

Biggest one in history.

And you know what?

To be honest, it is a great thing.

This is good that this happened, that this person was stopped in, that these drugs were

confiscated.

But while the administration is patting themselves on the back for this, I think it's important

to take a step back and realize that the biggest criminals in this entire opioid story, this

opioid crisis in the United States, the biggest criminals are still walking around our streets

today.

The biggest criminals have billions upon billions of dollars sitting in their personal bank

accounts.

The biggest criminals aren't driving cucumber.

Trucks are selling drugs on the street corner.

They're wearing nice suits.

They're sitting in boardrooms, they're acting as ceos and shareholders of the opioid companies

here in the United States.

Those are the real criminals, and according to a recent report in propublica that builds

upon an earlier report this week from the New York Times, the Sackler family, which

is the family that owns Perdue, Pharmaceuticals who manufacturers and created oxycontin.

They knew not only that, their drug was killing people in getting people addicted, but according

to these new documents that propublica has gone through, they then decided after they

created all these addicts here in the United States, uh, that they wanted to start marketing

and selling the cure for opioid overdose.

They've basically viewed it as just an extension of their current market.

We get them hooked on this drug so they keep buying that, and then when they overdose,

we'll just go and sell them this other drug that can reverse opioid overdoses.

That's contained in the documents.

It wasn't, hey, we're killing people out here.

We're getting people addicted.

Maybe we need to do something about it.

It was how can we profit more off of the death and destruction that we're causing here in

the United States?

The Sackler family is nothing short of a criminal drug cartel.

That is what they are.

That is what they're doing.

Same thing with all of the opioid distributors who ship millions of pills to a town of a

few hundred people.

These are criminals.

These are professional drug runners, but none of them get thrown in prison.

None of them have to go to jail even though they are the ones providing the supply to

get people hooked and to cause overdoses and their own internal documents are telling that

story right now in Massachusetts and if you're not paying attention to what's happening up

there with that attorney general cracking down on these criminals releasing these documents

so that we can see that they knew this was bad, that they knew it was happening, and

now not only did they try to cover it up, but they actually tried to profit off of it.

There is nothing that major pharmaceutical companies will not do to turn more profit,

even if it means selling an overprice drug to reverse the overdose that was caused by

the other drug that you sold that same consumer.

These are the real criminals.

These are the people we need to be seeing in headlines.

You know, arrested showing their pictures of their warehouses filled with drugs instead

of the back of a cucumber truck.

Again, I don't want to take away the significance of that drug bust earlier this week, but that

is nothing compared to the damage that Perdue, the Sackler family, and all of these other

opiate distributors have done

in

the

United States.

Most of Muslims Dont know Islam Good Enough but Question Disbelievers - Duration: 23:34.

SURAH BAYYINAH

Indeed. It brings about a lot of joy to be in this beautiful Masjid in Bloayu

More than a year may allah subhanahu. Wa ta'ala

Grant us genital fill dose and in the same way that he has gathered us in his house

May he gather us in the presence of muhammad

sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and may he grant us success of this world in the next I mean

my brothers and sisters

Across the globe you will find that Muslims like ourselves

Living in countries that are predominantly non-muslim and

Being given the freedom to follow their faith their religion

This freedom is something that is unique

It is something that we do knowingly or unknowingly

take for granted and

Many people don't speak about it

We're living in a secular country. It's not a Muslim country. The countries are not governed by

Islamic law not in the least

but in fact they have greater rights than

almost all those countries that are predominantly Muslim or ruled by Muslims and that

Is a matter that you can study and check I have studied it very deeply and checked

So let's not be fooled

Let's thank Allah and let's understand

That we have to in the same way

That we are given the right to follow our faiths

agree

Admit and allow others to follow what they believe is, correct

Because if it wasn't for that

We wouldn't be allowed to follow Islam

some countries that are quite advanced are

beginning to reverse this and

One of the reasons is because of us

Sometimes we become so abusive in the way

We speak as though Islam is supposed to be forced on everyone

Living in the country. That's not even Muslim

There is no passage in the Quran. No

Suggestion in the hadith of the Prophet SAW Allah Salama saying that Islam should be forced upon anyone

in fact

The value system of Islam makes mentioned in the Quran

There is no compulsion at all when it comes to entry into the fold of Islam you

cannot force someone

People should be free.

Muhammad peace be upon him tell them that the truth has been revealed

from your lord or by your Lord who ever once

Should believe and whoever wills

Doesn't have to believe but at the end there answerability lies with Allah

people get upset

why does Islam teach that there is an afterlife where perhaps people may be punished the

Reality is you are free to believe and you are free not to believe

You can go and take any other system. That's yours. It's fine. It may not be fine with allah subhanahu

Wata'ala, but between you and I your unsuitability is not to me

It's to Allah but as a human being I allow you the freedom

Just like you've allowed me the freedom if I didn't allow it to you or vice versa

There would be war and chaos across the globe

So there are people who believe that if you are not a Muslim I must fight you I must hurt you

I'm a even go to the extent of killing you AUTHUBILLAH (MAYALLAH forgive us)

there are groups who believe this and they use

Verses of the Quran that were revealed at the time of the Prophet Salla goddess alam to justify this type of behavior

Not understanding that the same Quran explains to you the relationship

You're supposed to be having with those around you and that

Everyone who's not a Muslim is in actual fact supposed to be looked at as a not yet Muslim

What does that mean?

I'm supposed to have hope the enemy of Islam at the time was Abu jahil

The Prophet peace be upon him used to pray for him. Oh

Allah guide this man to Islam

subhanAllah

Omar abdul-fattah bravi allahu anhu was he prior to Islam? He was an enemy

He was one of the worst he went out not to plot or plan the killing of an ordinary Muslim but The Messenger of Allah

Subhanahu WA Ta'ala

Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and what happened a prayer a two-hour the softness of the heart of the Prophet

Peace be upon him

the invocation of Allah when he invoked Allah saying o Allah guide this man to Islam and

within a short space of time the man comes to say yah, Rasul Allah now when someone says Yaris illallah

Automatically there is belief in the heart that this person

considers the messenger a messenger

They could have come in and said ya Muhammad SAW Allah if they wanted to that was his name. Yes indeed

But for someone to say ya Rasul Allah, it shows a level much higher

Than a person who just addresses like anyone else

So he says in the ash hadu an LA ilaha. Illallah, WA ash hadu anna kab - who wore a salut who?

SubhanAllah I bear witness

There is none worthy of worship besides Allah and I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah

They were shocked. They were surprised they were amazed but there is nothing shocking for Allah

My brothers and sisters the non-muslims we have around

I swear by Allah they have every right to believe what they want

Even though we may disagree with them completely on those matters

They have every right to believe what they want and just like you have the right to believe what you want

They will go to their churches while me will go to our questions and to be honest

They have that right? We may continue in our dower what is down

propagation propagation we

respectfully discuss matters

I have a question for you my beloved brother brother in what in?

Humanity people get angry when you call a Christian or a Jewish person or a Hindu or an atheist or an agnostic

My brother or my sister they get angry they get upset for what weren't you a stray sometime back weren't your parents?

Or great-grandparents astray some time back someone somehow

Respectfully convinced them that you know what let's talk about this. So tell me more about your faith

I believe you say this and you say that explain to me why and let me

To you I but my brothers and sisters there is a major disaster

Amongst us. We don't know Islam good enough. We don't know it well enough to even ask them a single question

They will Bowl us midwicket and we will just look their mouth aghast

That's it because why we know nothing people tell you you know, what the quran is filled with verses of hate

It has in it and they will rattle them out to you. They will read to you five ten verses and show you here

They are and you say oh, oh I didn't even know

Why don't you google verses of hate in the Bible? You'll find worst verses you'll find verses that you can't believe

Exist, but they're in the Bible

All you need to do pick up your phone while you're talking and Google verses of hate in the Bible or in the Torah

Etc, etc. You will find many verses but remember that these verses in actual fact are not

verses of hate

when they are taken out of context and

misunderstood then intentionally used to brainwash people

Then definitely the ignorant fall the ignorant begin to think that yes, these are verses of hate. Not at all

They are not and there are no verses of hate may allah subhanahu wata'ala grant us goodness

the quran is extremely balanced and

We believe as muslims that even the bible in its original form is extremely balanced. We believe the same about the Torah and the Talmud

Etc. We believe exactly the same in its original form

It was absolutely fair and balanced my brothers and sisters we take for granted the fact that we are mostly mean

living with such freedom

Subhan Allah, we have the houses of Allah such as this one a massive beautiful lovely place. Absolutely

Superb filled with serenity such that the moment you enter the gate if you have a heart filled with the love of Allah you begin

To feel the calmness and the serenity

SubhanAllah, I tell you what, we sometimes don't make use of it. Allah will take it away at some point

It's not going to stay for

It's not going to stay forever. That's a promise of Allah when he gives you something he will take it away

He's not it's not going to be there forever because there is something called agile Allah

The limit the time that is fixed by Allah for everything when it comes it's not going to be delayed. I

know of people living in nations that used to be totally free in terms of the rights of a

Muslim woman to wear a hijab and here I only talking of covering the hair

It used to go beyond that in freedom, but the women didn't do it in a lot of cases. They did it

By well, you know we are sometimes forgetful of the fact that it as a Muslim

Your focus is not on that on the dunya, but it's on the akhirah

You are going to live the dunya you're going to earn in the dunya

You're going to have a little bit of comfort in the dunya

You might smile when a luxury or two comes in your direction

But your focus is the al-qaeda because this world doesn't last more than 60 70 years for any one of us

History speaks for itself your relatives your families your friends and mine have passed on at an early age

What was the benefit of them having focused on the dunya?

When they are not in the dunya for longer than they were in the dunya don't lose focus

We focus on the affero. The problem is while we focused in this world or on the worldly life

We tend to lose the focus of the Archaea

so when you have the

Opportunity of wearing the hijab out of the freedom that is afforded to you and you don't do that

You know what will happen

a day will come and it has

Come for others when it is banned whether you like it or not whether you like it or not

You're no longer allowed to wear it if you wear it. We will jail you it has happened in modern countries first world countries

I'm sure you know the names of these countries

SubhanAllah why?

They have banned the fulfilling of prayer of solitude Amara

Unless it is within the building of the Masjid

I have been to places where if one is standing out of the mosque, they will be fined

Completely they may even be shut down

So what do they do? They have to have a do more huh? Starting off at 12 o'clock

Perhaps when the time clocks in another one at 12:30 another one that one o'clock another one at 1:30 and another one at 2 o'clock

Why do they have to have four or five do more as in the same message?

Because so many people come that they don't have the space and it's illegal to read or to fulfill the prayer

outside the exact wall of that mosque Subhan Allah

Subhan Allah

When we didn't have or we don't have those rules we still don't go to the mosque

I I have studied a lot of nations a lot of nations and I promise you the

Majority, I'm not joking the majority now of the youth

Don't go for Salah forget about do Maha or eat. They don't

Check the capacity check the population. Look at how much?

Happens at the day of Eid count the number of people check how many youngsters you have?

And you will find me to be correct even in beautiful nations where we enjoy our freedom

We are a minority actually pray in the masjid on a dua as well as on and eat

Subhan Allah

May Allah forgive us

The more developed we become

the bigger this problem is I

Think for that reason we are lucky in this country because our problems keep us close to Allah. They should be

Every time you think something is about to get better and suddenly it gets worse it gets worse

SubhanAllah and then you think it's getting better and it gets worse

You know you and I we stand and we are ripping the prayer mat o Allah we need your oh allah

We need your help and just about when you think things are happening

You're gonna rip it again because this some other thing that is cropped up Allah Akbar we are going through a torrid time

I promise you never lose. Hope in the mercy of Allah

There is a reason why Allah keeps us in this condition and it's not always miss punishment. Although it can be

Sometimes it's to keep us within

his obedience

Some people when Allah gives them everything

Can I take the liberty of saying a lot of people when Allah gives them everything?

They indulge in the luxuries such that they've forgotten Allah

Allah says, you know what man when we give him a lot we favored him

He turns he turns on his side. SubhanAllah. He's gone the other way why because my Chi is in order

I've got the best one the best house the best does no electricity problem light doesn't go bread. Never mind

It's available at the shops, but it actually gets delivered to my house how many never knows hot hot Subha Allah?

It doesn't happen to us

I think we live in Zimbabwe by the time they deliver the bread across the globe the Z is right at the bottom

There's no more bread. Allahu Akbar, my brothers and sisters may Allah grant us at least that bread may Allah make us thankful

Imagine when there's no water in your tap

When there's no water in your attempt for 2 weeks and suddenly it stopped Rick Lee starts trickling from the from the tap the smile

That you have on your face

When you see a little bit of water suddenly come from that tub after 2 weeks 3 weeks of a pause

How excited do we become more Wallahi?

Isn't that a moment of making sure due to Allah but rather we say using vulgar words that you know

What these and then we use that vulgar word?

They should have sorted the problem out a long time back

Instead of saying and having good another water is back. I think muslimeen still do that, but

That's the favor of Allah Allah wants to show you the nikuman of water from a tap

The Nima of water from a tap is a luxury that is very recent and it's only a few that enjoy it

Only a few you know, there is an example. I want to actually make mention all

Beautiful example

And I've said it many times but I want to repeat it because it brings about a lot of comfort into my heart

You know, we are struggling we must make use of the facilities we have because if not Allah

He we're doing a disservice to it

Let's encourage our children our women in a beautiful way to come to the house of Allah

Even if you may not have so many

programs and so

things that are happening so come for prayer come for the serenity come to the house of Allah to sit with Allah

few moments

Come on

Just like I would come to your house even close to you every day for a little while until my wife gets irritated, right?

But go to the house of Allah no one will get irritated

Don't use that excuse to go somewhere else by the way. May Allah grant us ease

But we must make sure my brothers and sisters that

We are thankful to Allah by making use of the facility Allah has given us right

Let me explain to you who was the best of creation the most noble of all prophets the highest of rank without a doubt

Wasn't that Muhammad SAW Allah said not

Allah loved him the most still Allah loves him the most he is the highest of rank

He is the best he is the top. Guess what?

Guess what?

in terms of facility and luxury

Allah gave you more than he gave him

If you thought of it you and I seated here today and

Those who will listen to this if you have the capacity and technology to listen to what I have said now

You have exactly what I said you have in terms of luxury and facility

you had more than women love the most and

Allah says o Muhammad SAW Allah Allah if we wanted we could have given you better than everything

gardens with rivers flowing beneath we could have given you a lot o snot -

Did Muhammad sallallaahu Selim did Allah choose for him to have water running from a tap?

The answer is no no, does that mean his value was decreased? No, not at all

That means having water from a tap is not important. It's something minor

It's something it's something Allah doesn't look at as important for your link with Allah, but if you don't have it

Perhaps your link will be better

Did Muhammad peace be upon him have a mobile phone? Did he have internet? Did he have a phone?

Did he have a stove? Did he have electricity? Did he have a car? Did he ever in a plane?

did he ever have anything you have the material you have the watches you have the Pens you have the buttons you have the

Technology, you have the internet alone anything of that nature

The answer is no but Allah blessed him way beyond all of us

Did you think of that it goes to show everything we run behind today is of zero

Importance in the eyes of Allah zero knew nothing not at all. Have you thought of that?

It's got to do with your relationship with Allah build it

Build it. You know why?

Everything I mentioned now, you're going to leave it behind when you die. Totally it becomes irrelevant

You can't receive a phone call from a dead person. It's not going to happen

No matter how economic how technology advances that's not going to happen

You can't get a message from someone in the grave Saints enemies of their time. It's not happening. No way

It shows you all of this is irrelevant your electricity or water from a tap your car your aeroplane

Whatever else whatever technology Allah says tabara can levy

insha

Allah Quran means an occasion a t30

That the hell and hell why a jacket Osuna man. Look at the boobies

allah akbar, allah says in surat al-furqan that glory be to he who

If he willed he would have given you o messenger

Better than all of that

Gardens beneath which are flowing rivers subhanAllah and palaces

palaces and castles and las his name they

Have belies the Hereafter they don't believe in the hereafter and I'll end on that point. It's a reminder for you and I

Beautiful reminder remember what I'm saying is not in order to scare us

But it's in order for us to think just to think and to try and find our balance in this world that is filled with

Difficulty on one hand and the luxury on the other that we cannot reach and we are busy trying to reach

Forgetting the focus on the Hereafter that is actually coming even before we will get that luxury now Allah grant us goodness

So Allah Subhanahu, WA Ta'ala has favored upon us is great

allah has blessed us allah has bestowed upon us Allah says to Muhammad SAW Allah Salam that you know what we have given you we

Have blessed you you are the highest in rank

you are the best of character and conduct we chose you from entire creation and

We decided to put you at a time

when this technology

Was not available

In order for us all my beloved brothers and sisters to learn a lesson

That is actually got to do with your relationship with allah may allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala grant us a good relationship with him

May we be grateful may we focus on the Hereafter mainly focus on our character on our conduct on our team

I really my brothers and sisters to greet one another with a smile greet one another with a smile

Please greet one another with a smile. It is a starting point

Well, I he and I'm repeating it for the fourth time my brothers and sisters

Please I beg you from this minbar to do something simple today as you're going away

Don't forget one thing. I've said only one greet each other with a smile

genuine smile

it is the beginning of

The increase of the love amongst you you will feel like coming to the Masjid because you feel like my family

Is there my people are there those who love me are there?

Unfortunately when we come with duck from this one die from that one

We don't want to see that one no matter what differences you have

greet each other smile at each other

try it out of a

Whom we love we follow he says shouldn't I show you something if you were to follow it, it would increase the love amongst you

greet each other correctly

My brothers and sisters may Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala fulfil our doors meaningful full the goodness in our lives

May Allah Subhanahu, WA Ta'ala forgive our shortcomings

May he make us more conscious of who we are

May he help us to fill the masajid such that as the generations pass we get closer to Allah

It's our duty when we show the lack of

Interest in what belongs to Allah and what Allah has asked us to do. What do you expect from our children?

when we show no interest the children will actually

discourage others from

Going closer to Allah learn your deal. Like I said earlier there is ignorance. That is there. Let's learn the deal

let's put it into practice and let's try our best to

Understand the goodness and the beauty that is going to help us not only in this world

But even in the year after

REVEALED: Arsenal offered Malcom to join Denis Suarez from Barcelona, but this happened… - Duration: 1:18.

Arsenal were offered South American star Malcom – along with Spaniard Denis Suarez – as a package by FC Barcelona

The Sun says Dennis Suarez completed a move to the Emirates on Thursday, signing a £2million loan deal which could eventually turn into an £18m permanent move at the end of the campaign

Suarez – who was on the books of Manchester City as a youngster – was determined to reunite with tactician Unai Emery having played under the Spaniard on loan at la Liga side Sevilla, but Malcom didn't make the move from Spain to London with his teammate

The Brazilian only joined Barca from French side Bordeaux last summer, but he's failed to make impact at the Catalan club

And he did looked keen on a move to join Unai Emery and Denis Suarez at the Emirates Stadium, only for Arsenal to baulk at the loan fee required in signing him

US shivers as extreme cold invades, but is this climate change? - Duration: 3:10.

US shivers as extreme cold invades, but is this climate change?

Experts say it could be, but whether plays a role in this particular extreme weather phenomenon is still up for debate. Heres why:

What is a polar vortex?

"It is a mass of very cold air that typically sits right on the North Pole and tends to be restricted to the North Pole by the jet stream," explained Ben Kirtman, professor of atmospheric sciences at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.

Normally, the jet streamówhich is a strong a current in the atmosphereówould keep this cold air in the Arctic, but when the jet stream wavers, or weakens, the chill can spill.

"Occasionally we get meandering of the polar vortex and that is what is happening right now. And if you get a real big one you can have a big blob of cold air penetrate very far south," Kirtman told AFP.

According to the Weather Channel, this weeks freeze "may be the coldest in more than 20 years in parts of the Midwest and will smash dozens of daily record lows in some areas."

NASAs Earth Observatory said that steady northwest winds "were likely to add to the misery, causing dangerous wind chills below 40 Fahrenheit 40 Celsius in portions of 12 states."

The National Weather Service warned that a wind chill of 20 F can cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes.

Why is this cold spell so strong and so vast?

"It is not out of bounds with the historical record. They happen. You get storms that are bigger than other storms. There is a big part of this that is part of the natural variability of the climate," said Kirtman.

The protective band in the atmosphere that typically keeps polar air in the north can and does waver. That, too, is not unexpected.

"There are always undulations in the jet stream," said Kirtman.

The strength of the jet stream is linked to the temperature contrast between the hot tropics and the frigid poles.

The starker this contrast, the stronger the jet stream, and in theory, the more likely that the polar air will stay in the Arctic.

However, sometimes a jet stream that is too strong can also become unstable, "and these instabilities cause a certain amount of waviness in the jet so you can get these meanders," said Kirtman.

Some evidence also suggests that when the poles heat up, there is less contrast between the tropics and the poles, and that, too, can make the jet stream become wavier, allowing to spill down from the north.

The Arctic is well known to be heating at twice the rate of the rest of the planet.

Can this type of extreme weather be blamed on climate change?

"What people are starting to ask is, if you weaken the jet stream, does that mean we are going to have more, stronger excursions of the polar vortex? If that turns out to be true, we can link more extreme cold spells to climate change," Kirtman added.

Researchers are examining data in the quest to find out.

"There are some hints that it is linked to change, but I would emphasize that the jury is still out," he said.

Scientists are getting better at deciphering the role of in certain weather extremes. So far, the signals are clearest in events like rainfall, drought, heatwaves and wildfires.

But when it comes to cold snaps, the answers are not as clear.

HOT | Girls can now join Boy Scouts but not everyone is prepared to like it

You read that right. As of Friday, the organizations older youth program, "Boy Scouts," will be called "Scouts BSA" a change meant to welcome both boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 17.

It also means young women can realize their dreams of becoming Eagle Scouts, the organizations coveted highest rank, which can offer lifelong academic and professional benefits. The first class of female Eagle Scouts will be recognized in 2020, according to Boy Scouts of America.

The program for younger kids, Cub Scouts, has been welcoming girls since last year. Its name will stay the same, as will the name of the 108 year old parent organization, Boy Scouts of America.

"I could not be more excited for what this means for the next generation of leaders in our nation," Chief Scout Executive Michael B. Surbaugh said in a statement Friday.

"Through Scouts BSA, more young people than ever before young women and men will get to experience the benefits of camaraderie, confidence, resilience, trustworthiness, courage and kindness through a time tested program that has been proven to build character and leadership."

I wanted to become a scout myself

Boy Scouts of America BSA first announced in 2017.

It was welcome news for many girls, like 10 year old Kaylee Russell, who told shes been tagging along and participating in her older brothers Boy Scouts events for a long time.

"My brother was always a Boy Scout and in Cub Scouts," she said. "And they would always include me and I would do things like archery, swimming, shooting rifles. So much. And that encouraged me that I wanted to become a scout myself."

Kaylees mom, Stacey Russell, is also glad her daughter is going to be able to participate, WJXT reported.

"She liked camping, she liked the hiking, the outdoors stuff. And this gives her a chance to actually earn the merit badges for the stuff that shes already been doing with him anyway," she said. Russell also likes the "leadership skills" that her son has developed, and is happy her daughter will have the same opportunity.

Not everyone welcomes the change

Welcoming girls into the Boy Scouts has not come without controversy.

There was mixed reaction on social media at the time of the initial announcement, with some suggesting the change was "PC," or "politically correct."

Girl Scouts USA issued a statement that didnt name BSA, but said that the "benefit of the single gender environment has been well documented by educators, scholars, other girl and youth serving organizations, and Girl Scouts and their families."

reportedly from Girl Scouts USA President Kathy Hopinkah Hannan, who accused BSA of welcoming girls to help their diminished enrollment numbers.

And late last year, Girl Scouts USA actually sued BSA over the change from "Boy Scouts" to "Scouts BSA" in a trademark infringement lawsuit.

In an updated statement on Friday, Girl Scouts USA said BSAs decision "does not change the position of Girl Scouts of the USA or our mission to serve girls, and girls only, and to foster their amazing leadership potential. We remain steadfast in our knowledge that Girl Scouts is the worlds single best leadership development program for girls."

The Girl Scouts declined to comment on the lawsuit.

The Knicks have no one but themselves to blame for Porzingis trade - Duration: 4:48.

The New York Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, a shock deal that sent shockwaves through the NBA and undoubtedly ticked off NFL executives who want all the attention on the Super Bowl this week

Some defended the Knicks on Thursday after the deal was announced, praising the team for getting a nice player back in Dennis Smith Jr

, two reported future first round picks, and two players with expiring contracts who will free up a lot of cap space soon

And, all things considered, it's not a bad deal! The move will give the Knicks the ability to rebuild around youth and chase some stars

They'll tank this year and have a decent shot at a No. 1 overall draft pick (not as good odds as they'd like, but still), and then with their freed up cap space they'll make a run at Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving

Maybe they'll go after Anthony Davis. Will they get them? Maybe! Who knows? RelatedCrying Knicks fan weighs in on the Kristaps Porzingis trade  On top of that, New York Knicks president Steve Mills made clear that Porzingis didn't want to be in New York, saying in a conference call on Thursday: "When you try to think about how you want to build your team for the long term, you don't want to commit a max [contract] to a player who clearly says to you he doesn't want to be here

That would be a disservice for our organization and disservice to our fans."  A fair point

The timing of the deal is smart, too, in that the Knicks pulled the trigger when Porzingis was recovering from an ACL tear, thus taking the sting out of losing him a little bit, in that Knicks fans are already used to watching the team without him this season

They timed it right, they got a good haul. For Mills, it was about as good a return as he would hope for

You're waiting for the "but." So let's get to it. Yes, the Knicks got a solid return for Porzingis, and yes, they were able to offload a player who no longer wanted to be there

But how on Earth do you turn a franchise cornerstone center, a 24-year-old center who's 7'3″ and can shoot from anywhere, someone already improving on the defensive end, someone who gets to play every night in Madison Square Garden … into someone so disgruntled he wants to leave the team? RelatedKristaps Porzingis' contract situation could pose a major risk for the Dallas Mavericks  Mills will argue the damage was done before he got there, and that the time under former team president Phil Jackson left things so bad with Porzingis that the damage was irreparable

I'm not sure I buy that. The Knicks changed team leadership, which gave Mills the opportunity to call Porzingis in on day one and say "We're changing things here

We're going to make things right with you."  Though who knows? Maybe Porzingis was a pain to work with

Maybe he was so wounded by whatever on earth Jackson and team owner James Dolan put him through that he was never going to play for the Knicks again

What I do know is true is that the Knicks have made a habit out of running great players out of town

This should be just about the easiest team in the NBA, outside of the Lakers, to recruit talent to

They've got easily some of the best fans in the league, one of the best arenas, and it's New York City

This shouldn't be so difficult.  And yet time and time again, this team has found a way to squander talent

They've been perhaps the worst managed team in the NBA since James Dolan acquired the organization, and yet they continue to act as if they know better

The 00's were a wash for the team, just a totally lost decade, they finally built something cool with Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire on a very talented team in 2012, then that fell apart, then Jeremy Lin they let walk (probably smart but did nothing to endear them to fans) and now Kristaps Porzingis is gone

Reboot after reboot. A few nice moments in otherwise two decades of squandered opportunities

Yes, they got a decent return for Porzingis. But what about the New York Knicks tells us that they're going to do the right thing next? Successful launch makes Harris a front-runner, but for how long? - Duration: 21:02.

Presidential campaign launches used to be informal affairs. A candidate would stand in front of some reasonably picturesque backdrop, declare that he — it was almost always he — was running, supporters would cheer and off they'd go

No more. Advertisement >  Today's launches are tightly choreographed ensembles of video, websites, rallies and interviews, all designed to propel a hopeful candidate to maximum visibility overnight

Kamala Harris' effort this week provided a vivid example of success. Sign up for the Essential Politics newsletter »  SENATOR FRONT-RUNNER  After first announcing her candidacy last week at a Martin Luther King Day appearance on "Good Morning America," Harris followed this week with a kickoff rally in Oakland before a crowd that, as Melanie Mason and Mark Barabak wrote, spilled through several city blocks

The sun shined, the crowd cheered and the rally provided perfect visuals of racial, ethnic and religious diversity for the campaign commercials to come

Within days, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, who might have competed with Harris for home-state financial and political backing, announced he would not enter the race

Harris followed with a trip to Iowa for a nationally televised CNN town hall. There, her ability to empathize with questioners demonstrated Clintonian campaign skill — that would be Bill Clinton, not Hillary

The forum drew a record audience for a single-candidate event, CNN reported. Potential voters who until this past month knew little about California's junior senator got a first impression of a candidate who embodies Democratic beliefs about diversity and who stood up for her beliefs under questioning

Harris got criticism from Republicans for publicly saying something that some other Democrats try to elide — that Medicare for all would mean eliminating private insurance

But most of the flak she drew came from questioners on the left who accused her of being too tough on crime — a quality that has yet to harm a candidate in a presidential election

All in all, a candidate couldn't ask for much more in an opening act. Contrast that with Sen

Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, who launched her campaign at nearly the same time as Harris but to much less effect

Harris even drew a compliment from President Trump, who said in an interview with the New York Times that she had "the best opening so far

"  A Washington Post poll taken after Harris' "Good Morning America" appearance but before the Oakland rally asked potential voters to volunteer the name of a Democratic candidate they supported

More than half of Democrats had no preference, the poll found. But of those who did have a favorite, Harris and former Vice President Joe Biden topped the list

The question now is what the second act will bring. Being a front-runner brings benefits, but also extra challenges, Barabak and Mason wrote

As veteran Republican strategist Mike Murphy told them: "Now that you've gone out and told everybody you're Superman or Superwoman, you have to start picking up locomotives

"  Murphy, who headed the super-PAC for Jeb Bush in the last election, knows well how quickly life can sour for a front-runner who starts to slip behind

Advertisement >  RUNNING WHILE FEMALE  This campaign marks the first time ever that the Democratic field has included multiple, serious female candidates

Janet Hook examined the contrasting ways of handling gender issues that Harris, Gillibrand and Sen

Elizabeth Warren have displayed so far.  THE FIELD GETS BIGGER  On Friday, Sen

Cory Booker of New Jersey made his entry into the race. As Evan Halper wrote, Booker eschews the sometimes angry rhetoric that some other candidates use, pitching his campaign as a quest for unity, optimism and, as he likes to say, "universal love

"  Conventional wisdom holds that Booker and Harris will compete for the support of African American voters in key states such as South Carolina

But it's equally likely that many of those voters will hold off on making a choice until they get a sense of whether either of the candidates has a strong shot of winning

As Halper wrote, that was the experience from 2008, in which black voters flocked to then-Sen

Barack Obama's side only after he proved he could win.  The need to prove that could put more importance once again on the initial contest in the race, the Iowa caucuses, which propelled Obama's candidacy

It's not for nothing that each of the candidates so far has made an early trek to Iowa

Over the next few weeks, the pace of candidates is likely to quicken. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont will probably join the race later in February

Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio has an exploratory trip to Iowa this weekend and is expected to make a decision by early March

Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, who, like Brown, boasts credibility with Midwestern voters, is also weighing a bid

And all their plans will be affected by whatever decision Biden makes. The former vice president has been closeted with his family and closest advisors, giving few hints of which way he'll decide

Aides concede, however, that he can't delay much longer.  THE INDEPENDENT  Democrats love to worry

This week, they focused much of their angst on a potential independent presidential bid by Howard Schultz, the billionaire former CEO of Starbucks

The fear among Democratic strategists is not that Schultz could win — in an era of ever-heightened partisanship among voters, the chance of a wealthy third-party candidate successfully tapping into a well of independents is remote

But he could potentially split the anti-Trump vote, delivering key states to the incumbent

Schultz points to the fact that many voters register as independents to suggest that a "silent majority" exists for a third party

No doubt his advisors' paychecks depend on telling him that, but everyone else who has studied voters knows it's rubbish

Advertisement >  Indeed, the single strongest force in politics today is what political scientists call "negative partisanship" — the belief that the other side represents a serious danger

That feeling makes party lines stronger than ever. And the vast majority of people who register as independents actually vote as partisans

Moreover, the beliefs Schultz espouses — a mix of secular liberalism on social issues and fiscal conservatism on economics — has very little support outside of a few wealthy precincts

The opposite stance — social conservatism coupled with economic populism — has a much bigger following

All that being said, a well-funded third-party campaign could affect a close race in some key states, and after the experience of 2016, almost anything suffices to keep worried Democrats up at night

TRUMP'S IMAGINARY FRIENDS  As Eli Stokols and Jennifer Haberkorn wrote, Trump has a proven penchant for making up characters whom he claims as friends

The archetype was a man named Jim. Trump claimed he was a friend who told him he doesn't go to Paris anymore because of the impact of immigration on the city

No one's ever been able to find Jim, and White House aides have stopped insisting he's real

This week, Trump's been claiming that many Democrats are secretly prepared to support him in his quest for a border wall

That seems to be a fantasy, as well.  By week's end, Trump seemed to be admitting he wouldn't get support in Congress for a wall

In public comments and a new New York Times interview, he returned to the idea of declaring a state of emergency and trying to use it to divert money from other projects to build the wall

CHANGING THE SUBJECT  Having picked a fight with Speaker Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco and lost, Trump also seems to want to change the subject

The next few weeks are likely to see a big buildup toward another summit with North Korea's Kim Jong Un

Trump suggested he'd announce plans for that meeting during Tuesday's State of the Union speech

He also strongly hinted he might meet with Xi Jinping to try to settle the continuing trade dispute with China, Stokols reported

The most likely schedule seems to be a trip to Vietnam in late February to meet with Kim, followed by a stop in China on the way home, White House officials say

Part of the discussion could also be new Justice Department charges against the Chinese firm Huawei

As Del Wilber wrote, the charges marked a significant escalation of the government's case against the telecom giant

ANOTHER REASON TO TRAVEL  Acting Atty. Gen. Mark Whitaker said publicly this week what others have been saying privately: Special counsel Robert S

Mueller III's investigation is "close to being completed." As Chris Megerian wrote, Whitaker's remark suggests that a report from Mueller on at least some parts of his investigation may be nearing completion

Whether any report will become public, however, remains very unclear. Trump's lawyer, Rudolph W

Giuliani, told Megerian weeks ago that the White House might try to block release of some information

WAG THE DOG?  Amid everything else, the administration has been ratcheting up tensions with Venezuela, as Tracy Wilkinson reported, by imposing sanctions on the state oil company and recognizing the opposition leader, Juan Guaido, as the country's rightful president

Critics of the administration accuse Trump and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, who has had a major voice in shaping policy toward Venezuela, of trying to foment a coup against the country's leftist government

CALIFORNIA'S CLOUT  As Sarah Wire wrote, Californians dominate the new House like never before, in part because of Pelosi's influence, but also simply because of the huge size of the state's Democratic delegation

That hasn't helped in the state's fight with the administration over California's authority to set its own rules on auto emissions

Talks on the issue appear stalled, Anna Phillips wrote. That increases the likelihood of a lengthy battle in court

The state's two senators, Harris and Sen. Dianne Feinstein also have a growing fight with the administration over Trump's nominees to the U

S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. The California senators will try to use senatorial prerogatives to block the nominations

Overall, Congress isn't likely to get much done this year, Haberkorn wrote. The brief bipartisan window for passing legislation seems to be rapidly closing

BORDER PATROL VACANCIES RISE Advertisement > Trump wanted to increase the ranks of the nation's border and immigration agents by 15,000 new positions

And his administration has spent millions of dollars to try to accomplish that. The money has gone largely for naught, as Molly O'Toole wrote — they've gotten thousands of vacancies instead

The number of vacancies is actually higher now than when Trump started.  LOGISTICS  That wraps up this week

The January transfers that should have happened but didn't - and why - Duration: 4:50.

James Gargasoulas said sorry, but he's incapable of showing genuine remorse - Duration: 7:42.

Below him and to his left sat dozens of Melburnians whose lives were ruined by his actions

He crossed his arms and yawned as family members of the six people he ran down on January 20, 2017 poured their hearts out

And he never once reached for the tissue box that sat to his right. James Gargasoulas appeared to try and feign interest as the bereaved told stories of the Bourke Street rampage from a perspective he will never understand

He nodded his head from time to time, but he didn't seem to be listening. He was waiting for his turn

"I apologise from my heart for taking the lives of your loved ones," he began after Justice Mark Weinberg approved the reading of a three-page letter

But for the next 20 minutes he treated the witness box as his stage and treated his victims as characters in a story that played out inside his head

In Gargasoulas's warped fantasy, somehow he is the victim. He sidestepped responsibility for the murders by blaming the Queen, the Federal Government, God and "girlfriend troubles"

He justified his decision to speed through Bourke Street mall in a stolen car because "I was in a bad head space" and defended his decision to accelerate as bodies bounced off his windscreen because he was following a "vision" that demanded he run people over

"I am a victim of government oppression. It is because of oppression that six people died

Oppression is the root cause of terrorism and crime," he said. "The government should take all responsibility

I am not evil, I am not a terrorist. I am a freedom fighter." A family member of one of his six victims described the rant as "deluded" while others chose not to listen to it at all, walking from the courtroom before the 29-year-old had the chance to speak

What his letters proved is that Gargasoulas still doesn't get it, and likely never will

His treating psychiatrist Douglas Bell said as much when asked to describe Gargasoulas's mental state

"His delusional beliefs are essentially unchanged," Dr Bell told the court. "He still believes he is the Messiah … and is someone who can save the world from being destroyed by a comet

" Gargasoulas's lawyers have pushed the idea that his actions on that Friday in January two years ago were driven by his delusions

But the Coober Pedy local who moved to Melbourne for a better life has a history of violence

And he's used his car as a weapon before. Court documents lodged at his pre-sentencing hearing this week show Gargasoulas punched his partner on one occasion and used his car to run her off the road on another

The incident, in May 2016, saw the victim's car roll. His justification for the attack was a paranoid belief that she was having sex with someone else while driving

That same partner gave birth to Gargasoulas' fifth child — he has four others with two other women — months after the Bourke Street attack

Prosecutors who secured a guilty verdict for all six murders in December do not accept the excuses Gargasoulas uses

In their submission to the court this week, they labelled his conduct "deliberate, calculated and terrifying"

They compared the murders of Thalia Makin, 10, Jess Mudie, 22, Matthew Si, 33, Bhavita Patel, 33, Yosuke Kanno, 25, and toddler Zachary Bryant to Australia's worst massacre committed at Port Arthur by Martin Bryant

"In his attempt to evade and disrupt his imminent capture and arrest, the prisoner drove through the most populous part of the Melbourne CBD on the pavement and through the Bourke Street mall at a time when it was likely to be very crowded with children, tourists, shoppers and office workers," prosecutors wrote

"Like the unspeakable crimes committed by Martin Bryant at Port Arthur, Bourke Street, Melbourne, will never be the same again

" Like Bryant, they hope Gargasoulas is jailed for life with no parole. Only a handful of Australia's worst killers, including Bryant and rapist and murderer Adrian Bailey, have received such a sentence

Gargasoulas waits to learn his fate alone inside a tiny cell at the Melbourne Assessment Prison

He spends 23 hours a day inside his cell. He's not allowed contact with other prisoners and rarely takes the opportunity to exercise or access sunlight

He'll find out within weeks if he'll ever see freedom again. rohan.smith1@news.com
