Welcome to episode number two of #TheFaceBehindTheTech series.

I'm your host Beka and today let's talk about the basics: how to submit a help ticket to

a tech company to get a quick answer.

We've all been there: waiting for tech teams to get back to us when we really just want

to use our technology now!

One of the most common problems I see in the length of time it takes to resolve a tech

question is the back and forth email process to collect essential info.

If you want to speed up the process, I recommend developing a usage roadmap to send to the

support team so they can understand exactly where the problem occurred.

Take screenshots.

If you don't know how (and it's a little different for various computer types), I recommend

going to Google and typing in "how to take a screenshot for" and then enter your computer

type.

List what type of device you are using in the email.

As an example, I am using a Mac laptop, or I have an Android or iPhone.

List your browser type.

Examples of browser types are Internet explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.

Last but not least, provide a brief description of the actions you took before the problem

occurred.

This should significantly decrease the time it takes for the tech provider to understand

your situation and help you so you can your technology product again!

Thanks for watching this week and I'll see you in the next episode of #TheFaceBehindTheTech

video series

Cheers to keeping tech human!

Come capire che ti ama veramente - Duration: 5:21.

Hello, how to understand that he really loves you

To understand. If a person really loves you

Meanwhile, he must observe. His behaviors

And do not observe what he tells you

Indeed if there is a difference

Between. What it says and non-verbal communication

associated

It means that he does not love you for example. A person

that makes this affirmation dear I love you so much

And while he says I love you so much and puts this non-verbal signal that is a sign of rejection

This indicates that

What he affirms on a rational logical level

on a deep level it is denied

and it can mean two things first

is that deliberately

those who want to lie and their emotional part, reports it

through a rejection signal

or

it could also mean that it is in good faith

that does not want to deliberately

to lie

But still its part is its sphere

emotional is not involved

the same

say if while saying something, for example, to go back

dear, I love you so much

I miss you so much

You are the only woman in my life

I think it's just you

all these statements that make going backwards

going back is a signal of rejection too

So this also means that it does not stand for you. Loving

If instead of some signs

positive of liking dear I love you so much

And you touch your lips

or dear I love you so much and comes forward

It means that what it says verbally

It also corresponds, on a deeper level, on an emotional level

on a non-verbal level and therefore what he says

it is true

Then you have to keep in mind the behaviors that a

When a person loves you and if a person loves you he has behaviors

Complementary to your needs

that is

try to satisfy

your needs

To satisfy. Your needs

It puts itself

complementary count ie

try to help you

is

Arranged for you to do things you would not normally do

Because we when we are in love

let's reverse, the codes of pleasure suffering, that is, what

we also found it unpleasant

when we were not in love

It becomes pleasant becomes

positive when we are in love when it works when we are involved

for which

If you throw a sentence there

without asking for a phrase like

And I have to find someone to help me clean the cellar what I'm doing an example

taking into account that nobody likes it

objectively

clean dusty cellars though if this person

It tells you no I'll help you do not worry, it's me

And it means that anyway it's involved with you anyway it's willing to commit to you

Indeed

A person who makes commitments to you

Who takes commitments to you is definitely a person who loves you who is involved

So these are the things to look for to understand. If a person really loves you

if really a person is in love with you

for this video it's all

WISHLIZZT How Zidane could spend £200m Chelsea transfer wishlist if he replaces under-fire Sarri - Duration: 9:41.

ZINEDINE ZIDANE wants £200MILLION to overhaul Chelsea's squad and turn them into Premier League and European contenders again

The French legend is keen to talk seriously about replacing under-fire Maurizio Sarri but only if the Blues meet his demands

As well as demanding a bumper new deal for Eden Hazard and a major say in recruitment alongside director Marina Granovskaia, Zidane wants £200m to improve the squad

The ex-Real Madrid boss will also ask for more if any players out-of-favour at Stamford Bridge are sold

Major signings could include Mauro Icardi, Isco, Kalidou Koulibaly and Alex Telles, who would all cost about £291m

The Blues could make £91m in sales through the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Marcos Alonso, Willian, Pedro, Andreas Christensen, Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham

Chelsea players who could leave this summer  Goalkeepers Willy Caballero Rob Green Eduardo  Defenders Marcos Alonso Davide Zappacosta Gary Cahill Andreas Christensen David Luiz Emerson Baba Rahman Matt Miazga Kurt Zouma  Midfielders Danny Drinkwater Lewis Baker Tiemoue Bakayoko Kenedy  Forwards Olivier Giroud Pedro Willian Callum Hudson-Odoi Michy Batshuayi Tammy Abraham  Here, SunSport looks at how Chelsea could line up if Zidane's wishes are met

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga  NO chance in being flogged after £71m move last summer.  Spain stopper has shown flashes of his potential after replacing Thibaut Courtois between the sticks

RB: Cesar Azpilicueta  THE fan favourite has fallen short of his usual consistent performances this season

But replacing him is not seen as a priority and Azpilicueta would likely keep his place in the team

Potential new Chelsea manager Zinedine Zidane and who the Frenchman would sign if he comes to London CB: Antonio Rudiger  CHELSEA'S best defender this season and at 25, still has time to improve

Quick enough to play in a high back line which Zidane favours. CB: Kalidou Koulibaly  STELLAR name who could fix the Blues' defensive problems

Napoli centre-back is considered among the best in the world and would cost more than the record £75m Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk at about £90m

Chelsea will need to act quick as Manchester United are weighing up a move for Senegal star

LB: Alex Telles  JUVENTUS full-back Alex Sandro is Chelsea's No1 target to replace Marcos Alonso, who has seen his stock fall dramatically this season

But the Brazilian would be too costly so £35m-rated Telles may be a better fit

The Porto defender is a dynamic attacking force and quick enough to recovery when caught out of position

CDM: N'Golo Kante  EXPECTED to be moved back into his preferred position under Zidane

The France star won two Premier League titles and the World Cup playing as the shield in front of the back-four

Countryman Zidane will benefit from his athleticism and work ethic at defensive mid

RCM: Jorginho  Brazil-born central midfielder is first on Sarri's team-sheet but in a deeper role

Zidane favours a possession-based style of football and could prefer to use Jorginho's precise passing further up the pitch as more of an attacking threat

LCM: Isco  SPAIN playmaker had a number of run-ins with Zidane at the Bernabeu but ultimately hit top gear under his guidance

Isco won three Champions Leagues under Zidane and another in 2014 while Carlo Ancelotti was Real manager

SunSport revealed how Chelsea pulled the plug on a deal to bring Isco to Stamford Bridge last month after questioning his desire to play for the club

Zidane may have to convince the Blues to make a U-turn and fork out about £70m for him

RW: Christian Pulisic  CHELSEA fans are desperate for Callum Hudson-Odoi to stay at the club and take the right-wing spot for his own

But after spending £58m on Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, who was loaned back to the club in January, the club are set to give him a place in the starting XI

Pedro and Willian are both over 30, meaning Chelsea will only offer them one-year deals

That could lead them to consider their futures elsewhere. LW: Eden Hazard  ZIDANE'S arrival would be a massive boost in Chelsea's battle to keep Hazard

The Belgium superstar has made no secret of his desire to join Real Madrid and with just one-and-a-half years left on his contract, the club could be forced to cash in

But he is a huge fan of Juventus and Real legend Zidane and once said: "To play under him would be a dream

"  Zidane's No1 aim is to secure Hazard a new deal so he can build the team around him

Should he take over the reins, there is a huge chance Hazard will sign the £300,000-a-week offer that is on the table

ST: Mauro Icardi  INTER MILAN hotshot is one of the most wanted men on the planet - and could set Chelsea back about £96m

Having already been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, Zidane would be a huge pulling power in getting a deal over the line

The Argentine is lightning-quick, brutally strong and a clinical finisher. Chelsea want Zinedine Zidane as next manager to replace Sarri and take them back to the top

IKEA Kitchen Hood: Cooker Hood Maintenance, How to Clean Range Hoods, Kitchen Exhaust Fan - Duration: 10:25.

How to maintain your cooking hood in good shape this video can be useful for

any kitchen hoods with this video you can learn how to remove that strange

noise from your kitchen extractor only by simply doing a deep clean on your

cooking hood to keep your kitchen exhaust in good shape it is recommended

to clean it once a year start by removing the decorative pipe and

continue unplugging the power cord loosen the two screws that are holding

it and next remove the exhaust pipe as I mentioned earlier you can do this on

most kitchen hoods at least with this same design but this one is from Ikea

kitchens and appliances for more info simply follow the link and video

description below

these mesh filters can go to the dishwasher

this is where the fan is located to clean this properly we have to remove it

we can see clearer that even with filters these cooking hoods build up fat

and grease overtime it is imperative to keep them clean so they can work in good

condition

if you are hearing a noise other than the normal operation of your kitchen

extractor the possible cause may be inside the fan blades it could be an

insect a snail or even a small pebble

now the next step is to remove the fan and next his motor

to clean this part easily cut it here with a sharp knife to release the wire

that goes to the engine now go ahead and remove the other fan guard

now to clean the fan body release the extractor hood power supply now remove

the ground wire and next they are ready to be well cleaved now it's ready to be

washed if you know another good product to wash fat or grease you can leave a

comment below

take the time to clean the entire unit and then reassemble everything again

thanks for watching and I see you in next videos Cheers

How Much Shall I Invest in Cryptocurrencies? - Duration: 3:16.

Today we're going to talk about ICOs, STOs,

TGEs and Vegas. One of the most popular questions I get asked at Blockchain

Rookies is exactly how much should I invest in cryptocurrency? And my standard

answer the three-day Vegas rule. How much would you spend on airfare and hotels

and at the roulette tables on a trip to Vegas gambling your life away now there

are some people that say not me I don't gamble

other people say ten thousand pounds count me in I'm off for a weekend at the

end of the day going to Vegas you're gonna meet a whole lot of really crazy

people you're gonna have a whole lot of fun you're probably gonna lose

everything but you might win big and the same is true for the majority of ICOs

STOs and TGEs but we have acronyms initial coin offerings security token

offerings and token generation events at the end of the day when someone else

asks you how much you invest in crypto tell them the answer is easy

it's the three-day Vegas rule the second thing I want to talk about when it comes

to Vegas is people say I'm buying these tokens and what are these tokens look at

it again from Vegas what I tell them is you're buying a poker chip for a casino

that hasn't been built by people that you don't know who don't have a license

to sell poker chips or to run a casino and it's probably being built in a

neighborhood that doesn't gamble and you're hoping you can sell that poker

chip for more than you paid for it before the casino opens another example

is when you talk about an ICO and someone says ah but ours are not

securities ours our utility tokens what's a utility token an example of a

utility token in real life happens in America in a laundromat when you go to a

laundromat you put a dollar bill into a machine on the wall and it spits out

little tokens and those tokens could only be used in the laundromat where you

put them in the wall they can only be used on the

washers and the dryers in that specific laundromat a utility token through an

ICO is very much in the same way you're investing and buying tokens on a project

that you will be able to use those tokens to operate that project at some

point in the future so the question is when you buy an ICO token has the

laundromat been built or has it not been built and who are the team behind the

laundromat do they actually have a legitimate business model and can they

actually build a laundromat so here are three examples that I always tell people

when I talk about ICOs, STOs, TGEs and Vegas one how much did you invest the

three-day Vegas rule. 2. Are you buying poker chips hoping to sell them before

the casino opens or three are you buying tokens for a laundromat that may not

even been built I'm Troy from blocking rookies this has been blocking

essentials we've been talking about ICOs STOs TGEs and Vegas thanks for watching

How to make virtual studio set Part 3 (Eng sub) - Duration: 43:13.

Hello everyone, welcome to neatshare channel

now i will show you how to create material

and we follow the reference color from my previous project

now go to our c4d project

but before start, I wanna tell you that

this part 3, we will cover about

creating lighting

then create environment

and then we will

create material for our virtual studio set

but before create lighting i notice that our wide camera seem abit not good

so i want to change it

before i put protection tag

so i cannot move camera

so i need to turn in to none first

and then i can move now

camera can set as you like

so i think it look fine now

this is medium shot

and wide

ok

after we adjust our camera

we can protect it again

ok then

I turn off camera first

we start to create

light

If we look at my previous project

This is my previous project

I create

3 lights

This is a light that i put it behind the camera

to the stage

ok now back to our project

and click on light - go to general

change type to area

and shadow softmap

and rename it to main light

so main light we move it to behind camera

and

click on model

and scale it up

and create another light

and choose omni light

and decrease intensity to 70

and move it left

and pull it up

and create another light

and keylight 2 we move it right

about creating light

we make it follow the real situation

test and set as what you like

if you think it is not nice, you can adjust it

try to think like in the real life

like you set up your own room

adjust until you render and feel it look nice

you dont have to follow and put amount the same me

I also not an expert

of setting lighting.

I know that my lighting technique is not better yet

So I create only 3 lights

The first light is area light with shadow softmap

and key light omni and shadow softmap too

and this one also the same

after we finish on lighting now

now let create environment

we go to sky

ok then we create our material for sky

and I name it sky

uncheck reflect

uncheck color, check luminance

load image

and choose hdri file

and we use this hdri file

you can download this file in video description

and put it on sky

and right click - cinema 4d tag

compositing

and seen by camera uncheck

and now let delete our previous test material

right click on material manager, this tab we call material manager

then let create the new materials

here i name

wall

I put it with wall if we look our previous project

our main wall color white

and some block with red

so let create white material

but make it light grey

so i feel it too much reflect

decrease to 3

you can see the black shadow

its shadow of the light

If you dont like too black shadow

you can adjust shadow in light

decrease intensity

not it much better

then

I put material on red block on the wall

create new material

So I Will create red luminace

If we look our previous project

This red cube block

then we click on the wall object

and go to polygon mode

and click on live selection tool click on block and shift , click on another block

dont forget to press shift while select part you want

then click on red luminace material, right click and apply

now we got, but it seem not glow

now let adjust our material

then we click on the material and copy ( ctrl+left click drag)

click on polygon mode

and select long block

oh, I forgot to tell you, if you wanna render it more nice you can go to render setting

render output setting

and change anti

change from geometry to best

but the higher amount will need more time to render out

and higher amount will get much better but take long time

I usually put 1, 4

put material to floor

and material floor stage

render engine will render the place you draw

I feel it not nice

let try luminance

ok it much better

ok we can delete material we dont use

if you look at wide angle

we dont see the edge of tv screen

so we dont need to editable it to take the split screen

so we just turn on its buffer to replace video in it

if it is full screen and we dont need any more buffer, we just put it on buffer 1

EDITING WALK THROUGH #1 HOW TO CREATE THIS SURREAL SKIN EFFECT - Duration: 14:23.

Hello humans today i wanna talk to you about "Beauty in Pain" that is the name of an artwork i

created about a month ago and shared on instagram.

And some of you asked me how i did it so i think this is the perfect opportunity to share

with you a little behind the scenes and walk you through my .PSD file so you can see exactly

that i did to create this illusion with Photoshop.

I have my laptop back here so... let's get started.

Okay so... i already opened my .PSD file but first i want to explain to you how i took

the picture.

when you have an idea for a concept the best thing you can do is to prepare your props

or anything you'll need for the shot and not to rely on Ptohoshop that much.

It is a lot easier when you make the work during the shoot and not just in post-production.

In my case i needed something that looked like i was opening my chest, so i used an

old piece of fabric that i had it was blue and i know, that does not match my skin tone

but i knew i could change that easily later.

So i cut it with a scissor in the middle, that way i could grab the edges and create

the illusion of an open chest.

Hum hum

I used a lightbulb on my right side and i had a window on the left.

At this point i was totally improvising cause i prefer to shoot outdoors but i did it inside

to give a sence of intimacy to the finished piece.

I took photos with the fabric and without it to have pictures of my chest that i used

to replace the fabric in Photoshop.

I usually take 10 to 15 photos but these time i totally over did it.

i wasn't sure about the light, the pose, i wasn't even sure if this was going to work,

So i think i took more than 50 pirtures (way more) and i ended up using onlye three of

them.

Let's go to the .PSD file so i can show you.

This is the first image that i chose as the main one and in top of this one we are going

to add two more so we can replace this fabric for skin i'm going to show you exactly what

i did first i noticed that this hole was smaller than i wanted too.

Basically i just copied the image.

You can ignore this, cause this is not going to be like that and after this i wanted to

blend the tone with the skin and i used an adjusment layer of Hue and Saturation.

It's easier when you choose exactly the color you want to change i changed the cyans as

you can see this is the original tone and i'm going to show you...

okay here we go to cyans and this is how it was and you can change exactly what you want

or the tone that you want.

And of course i used another adjustment layers of brightness and contrast to make some shadows

where i needed to.

And now we have to erase completely the fabric.

So i'm going to show you the other pictures that i've used.

I used this one and this one.

So let's start with this one.

I did a mask to hide all the things that i didn't need of this picture.

And i'm going to show you that mask, here you can see how it looks , obviously the nipples

aren't in the exact same place but believe me, it still works xD.

And is a little darker as you can see so with another adjusment layer of Brightness and

contrast i can change that, here i made it brighter and here i made it also brighter

but is applied to all the layer.

Now we have completely erased the fabric up there.

Now we need to hide this part of the fabric.

we are going to use the third picture.

Im going to show you what i did. This is the picture and i also used masks to hide what

i did not wanted so first i'm going to show you the mask of the folder and now the one

that is really important.

You can see it looks really weird but is because i'm still seeing the body of the main picture,

i mean this one so to hide that i created a new layer and used the stamp tool to clone

the background, and that's it.

But as you can see (again xD) here looks very weird, because i chose an image that has a

different angle so we have to fix this.

I did it really quickly, i merged all this layers and used liquify you can see here the

difference i streched this and made another changes over here so it looks more aesthetic,

and well, my skin tends to turn very red, i had to hid all this scratches, while i was

making the picture i thought about using duct tape to hold the fabric but that didn't work

so i only used my hands, and well.

I hid all this scratches using this tool, the healing brush and it was really easy.

I'm going to show you how i did it.

Let's say i want to take this off.

That's it that's how easy it is to use the healing tool. Then i sed again anothes adjustment

layers, here my skin looks ywllowish or bluish and i had some pinks and reds that are not

that flatering.

I used Hue and Saturation a lot and i'm going to show you what i did.

I almost never use this on master cause i prefer to edit every color separetly, so here

i worked with reds cause as i said before there are really weird tones here i just merely

changed this to +11.

And here i recovered some reds that i think should remain like the ones from here.

Adn then i gave some contrast.

So if we hide all this we are going to see the main image and what we have done so far.

But now we need to fill this with flowers so i'm going to show you how i did it.

I need to hide this for a minute and this is the image i used i think i dowloaded from

shutterstock.

i'm going to make this mask visible again so you can see what i did and to make it look

real you have to pay a LOT of attention to the shadows and the light i correct this using

a lot of adjustment layers.

I'm going to show you wich ones i used.

First i started with Brightness and Contrast because this is much brighter than it should.

With this layer i lowered a lot the brightness and a little bit the contrast.

Then i used levels to make the blacks lighter.

Here i have two curves.

I want to zoom these so you can see better.

This is like a Dodge and Burn thing cause i'm trying to make brighter the things that

ithink should be.

You have to as i said be very creative and try to make it look as realistic as possible

and we have some light coming from this direction, if this flower is really out here shoould

be more illuminated cause the liught is going almost directly to it.

The shadows also help, this is a hole after all.

And also if you can see here there should be more shadows, that's what i did with these

layers.

How i did this?

I created a new layer i used the brush tool and a dark color.

And basically just started to paint the places that i thought should be more dark.

And then i changed the blending mode to multiply.

Then you can change the opacity so you can... you can't make this it looks weird but if

you lower the opacity to 10 or 15% it looks better.

i''m going to erase this.

So look how it was without the adjustment layers i created.

It was really flat and it didn't look well, but with these adjustment layers

there is a lot of difference.

After putting all the flowers i thought it was a grat idea to put a leaf right here,

so i used, here, i'm going to show you.

I sed the same image, here's a leaf so i masked that out, put some shadows and then we have

to again, work on the adjustment layers.

The light is coming from here so it should be brighter here and darker here.

Here is the light with a layer of brightness and contrast with a mask you're going to see

here, without the mask and with the mask.

Here's another layer of brightness and contrast to make it darker and with less contrast.

There's also a shadow that is missing, here.

If the light is coming from here and the flower is above the hand then it should have a very

tiny shadow.

And now let's work a little bit on the background.

i'm not sure what i did here but i changed the tone a little bit.

then again with brightness and contrasti just lower the brightness and the contrast remains

the same.

And here i completely changed the color to blue, with hue and saturation when you pressed

this "Colorized" thing you are going to be able to change completely the tones.

That's very awesome cause you can see wich color you prefer.

Here we have another buch of adjustment layers, i'm not going to explain much about this cause

i don't think it's important.

Let's move to these other layers.

I'm going to create a new layer but this layer will contain all we have done so far.

And i'm going to use Filter / Camera Raw Filter.

If you change this up a little bit, i'm going to make... you can see how it changes from

this to this in a second.

And i love to use this cause you can change the tones individually, it's very helpful.

Okay so let's cancel this we are almost done but after seeing the image i thought i was

missing something so i added some feathers.

this feathers were in a black background and i did not have to do much work cause i just

changed the blending mode.

In normal you are goint to see all the black of the background but if you change that to

Screen is going to look just fine, and with almost no work.

What we got left is a buch of adjustment layers again.

And that's it i think we are done, i'm going to show you the before, i love to do that.

This is the main image

and this is the final image

The main image

and again, the final image.

So i know this was a really messy edit and you are probably confused with all of these

adjustment layers and all of these merged images with another adjustments and filters.

But even tho this was really messy i wanted to show you cause a lot of you ask me how

to achieve something like this with photoshop.

And that's all for now

Thank you so much for watching and don't forget to subscribe if you like the video i'm sure

How to Pick a Robo-Advisor [3 Factors to Watch] - Duration: 6:13.

There are more than 200 robo-advisor websites out there.

How do you pick an investing site right for your goals and needs?

In this video, I'll reveal three things I look for comparing robo-advisors and why

every investor should consider this new type of investing.

We're talking robo-advisors today on Let's Talk Money.

Beat debt.

Make more money.

Make your money work for you.

Creating the financial future you deserve.

Let's talk money.

We talked last week about the revolution in investing with robo-advisors and why I think

every investor should consider putting part of their portfolio in the new type of investing.

Today as part of our partnership with Emperor Investments, I want to talk about how to pick

a robo-advisor.

There are dozens of good sites out there, so how do you find the features that are going

to work best for you?

In our last video on how robo-advisors work, we saw that these software based programs

take all that information like your goals, your tolerance for risk and income and then

design a portfolio of funds to help meet those long-term goals.

Most robo-advisors invest your money in a collection of funds to give you a diversified

mix of stocks and bonds.

They automatically invest across the funds and rebalance regularly to make sure you stay

on track with the right level of risk and return.

Compared to that DIY investing strategy, always picking stocks and having to manage your portfolio,

it's a completely stress-free way of investing and part of the reason I think everyone should

consider putting part of their money in a robo.

You'll get around market returns, more or less, for that part of your wealth, you won't

have to worry about making those bad investing decisions like panic selling, and it just

gives you that confidence to know that at least part of your wealth is working to your

goals.

But a search for robo-advisors shows more than 200 companies available to just U.S.

investors and thousands worldwide.

How do you know which are not only legit but also have the features right for your needs?

For robo-advisors, there are a few things you can look for to compare and make sure

you find the right one.

Make sure to find any fees charged on the platform, any performance data you can find

on portfolios and additional features.

Fees on robo-advisors come in two flavors and this is one of the biggest things that

catches investors off-guard.

Platforms usually disclose their management fees pretty clearly.

This is the percentage charged on your total portfolio each year to the platform.

It's usually between 0.25% to half a percent.

Now even that half a percent isn't too bad considering robo-advisors don't charge you

a fee for each time you invest your money.

The platforms automatically invest and rebalance your portfolio with no fees or commissions.

The big surprise though, and this is something that isn't usually disclosed very well on

platforms, is the fee charged by the ETF managers.

This is the annual expense ratio you pay for holding those funds and, according to the

Wall Street Journal in How to Choose an ETF, averages around 0.44% a year.

Adding up that management fee and the fund fees means you can be up to as much as a percent

a year for total expenses on your account.

That's basically about what a personal financial advisor is going to charge so you're not

saving much going with a robo-advisor in some cases.

The moral here is just to look for the fee charged by that robo-advisor and understand

you're paying a fee on the funds as well.

If the platform doesn't disclose the average expense ratio for the funds, find out which

funds they use and you can find the expense ratio on their websites directly.

The second thing to look for comparing robo-advisors is average performance data.

Now this one can be tough to come by because there's no real requirement to disclose

returns.

Most robo-advisors invest broadly in those funds with hundreds of stocks in each so returns

are going to be close to that market return, the portfolio just tends to mimic the broad

market.

But there are a few platforms out there that disclose returns and do a better job at performance.

This is actually one of the biggest reasons I like Emperor Investments because of that

pure equity investing strategy.

Instead of investing your portfolio in funds, the platform combines its robo program with

stock analysis to invest in individual stocks.

So what you get here is a portfolio with upside potential versus just a group of funds that

tracks the market.

Finally here comparing robo-advisors is any special features included in the program.

One feature robos have been using to differentiate themselves is that investing strategy.

For example instead of just investing across a group of funds, investing in individual

stocks like on Emperor.

This is probably one of the biggest factors to compare across platforms because the vast

majority just use that broad ETF investing strategy.

Frankly, if you're going to just invest in a group of funds, you could do that yourself

and save the half percent annual expense.

Within that investment strategy idea, you can look to which funds or types of stocks

the platform invests.

Are the funds used primarily market funds or in specific sectors?

What kind of bond funds are used?

For example, Emperor Investments uses a dividend focus for its stocks so even if the market

tumbles then you can still get that positive return on dividends.

Another feature you might look for is the ability to invest your portfolio across different

financial goals.

Most robo-advisors invest for just one goal, exclusively to your retirement needs.

This is a problem because if you're also investing for other goals like education costs

then you're not going to want your portfolio in the same funds or stocks as if you were

only investing for retirement.

Once you've found a robo-advisor that meets your needs, getting started is actually really

easy.

You'll spend less than 5 minutes to answer some basic investing questions to give the

platform an idea of your goals and tolerance for risk.

Then setting up an account might take another five minutes to fill out contact information

and connect your bank account for deposits.

Other than making deposits into your account, you won't have to do anything else.

The platform will automatically invest your money each month across your portfolio.

I'm going to be doing a complete review of Emperor Investments next week, how to get

started and why I like the robo-advisor.

You can also look for that link in the video description below to check out the website

and get started.

Full transparency here, I have an affiliate partnership with Emperor and receive a commission

on signups.

I never review or partner with a company that I don't fully recommend, so that hasn't

influenced the information here.

I just want to be upfront if you decide Emperor Investments is right for your needs.

How to Read a Journal Article - Duration: 2:54.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

Today I am going to talk about how to read a journal article.

Scholarly articles are different than many other forms of communication.

Many times, people are reading articles with a purpose, such as to find out if there is

new information or findings about a topic of interest to them.

Readers may skim new articles or articles they found through a search, to see if it

is worth investing the time in reading the entire article.

Here are some tips to optimize your time reading an article for maximum affect.

First, know why you are considering an article.

Do you want to see if it supports your thesis or research?

Are you trying to see if it is the current thinking?

Are there new findings on your area of focus?

Second, note the keywords for the article to ensure it is on a topic that directly relates

to your work.

Third, closely read the abstract (which summarizes the entire article including the findings).

Use this a go/no go indicator of whether you should read the entire article.

Fourth, review the tables and figures in the article, including the captions.

Many times, these items are some of the most value pieces of content in the article.

They will help you focus on the essence of the content and the key takeaways.

Fifth, review the references.

What sources is the article built on?

Are they current?

Can you spot whether classic references for this area are cited or not?

This may help get a feel for the author thoroughness.

Sixth, take notes about what information you are gathering, including a bibliographic citation

of every article.

It is very important when you are gathering information to note all your sources.

My diligent in avoiding any possibility of a charge of plagiarism

Using this technique to skim or scan article is part of scholarly research and evaluation.

When you find an article that is important, nothing replaces reading it from beginning

to end; maybe twice.

Well that's it.

I am a publishing consultant and work with associations, publishers, and individuals

on a host of content related challenges.

How to Relieve Hand Cramps Treating Your Hand Cramps at Home | Top Thoughts - Duration: 6:09.

and cramps happened to us all they may

come up more frequently as you age or if

you have a job that requires repetitive

hand and wrist movement most hand cramps

can be easily treated at home but

medical treatment may be necessary

depending on the cause fortunately it's

also possible to prevent hand cramps

method 1 treating your hand cramps at

home

one rest your hand hand cramps are often

caused by overuse give your hand time to

heal by avoiding activities that require

a lot of hand movements or that require

you to grip something for sudden cramps

this may only be a few minutes if you

have more severe cramps you should go a

day or two with minimal use of your hand

you may also need to rest your forearm

if your symptoms don't improve you

should see a healthcare provider

to discontinue any activity that is

causing hand cramps

if overuse is causing your hand cramps

you're likely doing a repetitive

activity stopping this activity even for

a short period of time can help relieve

the cramps activities that may cause

hand cramps to include the following

writing typing playing an instrument

gardening tennis gripping an object such

as a tool or a smartphone bending your

wrist too far stretching out your

fingers elevating your elbow for a long

period of time

three stretch your hand hold your hand

flat with your fingers touching use your

other hand to gently press your hand

back by pressing against the palms of

your finger alternatively place your

hand against a flat surface press down

gently spreading your fingers flat

against the surface hold for thirty to

sixty seconds then release you can also

stretch your hand by balling your hand

into a fist after thirty to sixty

seconds open your hand and stretch out

your fingers

or massage your hand gently rub your

hand using small circular motions pay

special attention to areas that are

tight or especially sore you may want to

apply massage oil to your hand

five apply a hot or cold compress to

your hand both heat and cold can help

relieve your pain heat is better for

soothing the cramp and loosening up any

tightness in the muscles while cold will

relieve swelling place a piece of fabric

between your skin and the compress for

protection

six drink more water if you may be

dehydrated this is more likely to be the

cause if you've been exercising work in

the heat or are taking a medication that

acts as a diuretic make sure that you

are drinking whenever you feel thirsty

to not get dehydrated since an

electrolyte imbalance may cause hand

cramps you may want to drink a sports

drink instead

[Music]

take supplements if you're low in

nutrients hand cramps occur when you

lack certain nutrients such as sodium

calcium magnesium or potassium this is

particularly true for people who do

intensive workouts have kidney disease

are pregnant have an eating disorder or

are undergoing treatment for a condition

like cancer low B vitamins can also

cause muscle cramps always talk to your

doctor or health care provider before

taking any vitamins or supplements

especially if you are already taking

medications your doctor can advise you

on which supplements are best for you

preventing hand cramps

1 build strength in your hands and

forearms do your strengthening exercises

2 to 3 days per week an easy way to

build strength in your hand as to

squeeze on a small ball such as a stress

ball do 10 to 15 squeezes per hand

another way to build strength in your

hands as to play sports that involve

catching and throwing a ball you could

play catch handle a basketball or toss a

tennis ball against a wall you should

also stretch your hand daily before and

after your work or hobbies if you do

repetitive movements with your hands you

may want to stretch more often to

nourish your body with water and

nutrients eat a nutritious balanced diet

that ensures you'll get adequate calcium

magnesium potassium and B vitamins at a

minimum drink eight glasses of water

each day if you exercise a lot or work

in extreme heat then you should increase

your intake if your doctor approves you

can also take supplements to increase

your intake of nutrients 3 make sure

that items are correctly sized for your

hand gripping items that are too large

or too small for your hand can cause

discomfort and cramps although many

people don't have to worry about this

those with big or small hands should

check their grip on the objects they use

often look for tools utensils workout

equipment

hobby gear and household items that fit

your grip size
