Early on Christmas morning, a young Iranian in a green anorak collapsed on a Kent beach after getting out of a small inflatable boat

'I was so cold after hours at sea I twice fell over. My legs had gone rigid and didn't work

But I was so happy to reach England,' he says today. They are words 30-year-old Mehrdad Kazemi utters with feeling

He is one of 40 migrants whose audacious cross-Channel flit on Christmas Day made headlines and forced the Government to show it was doing its best to plug this new illegal route into Britain

Angry MPs demanded a tightening up of Britain's coastal borders to halt the flow of clandestines using the sea route

Mehrdad is just one of 434 migrants, the majority Iranian, who, since October, have been found making the 21-mile crossing from France

We traced him this week to a Home Office hostel in Birmingham where he lives with 320 other newly arrived asylum-seekers from all over the world

We were told of his whereabouts by other Iranians, waiting in northern France to follow him to Britain

They showed us photos he had posted on Instagram and which he has agreed to share with the Mail

They depict his life in Iran and his journey through Europe to Paris. From there, he made for Calais, where he arrived in the last week of November

He is the first of the Christmas Day boat migrants — or, indeed, the first of any of the migrants who have smuggled themselves across the English Channel — to speak of their flight from Iran and the reason for it

In an exclusive interview, Mehrdad told how he paid a people-trafficker in Turkey for his entire journey, including for the sea crossing with seven others in the boat that reached Kent on Christmas Day

His journey from Iran, where he worked as a clerk on the capital Tehran's underground, has cost him more than £5,500

He says it's money well spent.A most courteous man, he has few words of English, but told us his story through an interpreter in a coffee bar near his hostel

A graduate in metallurgy, he dreams of reading political science at Oxford if his asylum claim is granted

Targeted by Iran's secret policeMehrdad says he fled Iran when the country's secret police targeted him as a political activist who was opposing the authoritarian Islamic regime

He comes from a provincial city called Miyaneh, where he grew up in a small apartment with his schoolmaster father, his housewife mother and a brother and sister

He says: 'My friends and I thought people should have a voice and we began sending flyers and leaflets out through the social media

'Mehrdad contributed to the letters over the internet from Tehran, where he was working

'We called them "night letters" because we sent them at night. They were written in opposition to Iran's Islamic ruling party

But because we were in such a small place, the repercussions from the police came quickly

'Two of his friends were arrested. 'That was a big shock,' he says. Then, last summer, he was called back home to a family meeting

His mother — whose name he withholds to protect her — begged him to leave Iran.'She and my family felt my life was in danger

They told me to stop sending the "night letters" and said: "If this is what you insist on pursuing, then it is best you go from Iran

"'My mother pleaded with me. She could not bear to see me in prison. It would be better if I was far away, despite the wrench to her

It is for this reason I fled.'Mehrdad flees into Turkey and EuropeMehrdad left on October 25

He took a five-hour bus journey to Maku, a city near the border with neighbouring Turkey, and searched for a trafficking agent

He remembers: 'I paid an agent two million Iranian rial [£36] to drive me with five others secretly in the back of a pick-up truck across the border

'A mile into Turkey, the pick-up dropped off its human cargo. 'We walked on for two-and-a-half miles, then we found there was barbed wire which we went under

'The next obstacle was a wall. It had metal poles in it to help us climb up, so I think people had been there before

There was a van waiting on the other side and another trafficker inside, who drove us to Istanbul

'Mehrdad had escaped the troubled country of his birth, but his journey to freedom had only just begun

He went to Istanbul's central square, where Afghanis and Kurds in cafes were running a giant trafficking network between Asiatic Turkey and Europe

He looked for someone to help him. Not knowing anyone, he felt he couldn't trust a soul

Then, close to the square, he met a fellow Iranian of Kurdish descent, a trafficker who promised to get him to 'where ever you want to be in Europe'

The deal was struck. Mehrdad was to leave funds at a money exchange office and release it to the Iranian Kurd when he got to Europe

Mehrdad was to be smuggled in a van from Turkey via Bulgaria to Serbia, on to Bosnia then Croatia

The trafficker kept his word.Mehrdad, however, says: 'When I got to Serbia by van, I found it was bad

I had nowhere to live apart from a migrant camp. The police mistreated everyone. After 12 days, I was taken on by the agents to the border by car and walked through to Bosnia on foot

'From there, he was smuggled through to Croatia with a group of other Iranians. 'We arrived and found the police want to beat you up

They broke my phone. They emptied out my rucksack. We were strip-searched.'And then the police drove us to the middle of nowhere and dumped us with nothing

'Mehrdad and his group walked until they found a road to a townThey were lucky. Mehrdad was able to buy another phone and contacted the original trafficker back in Istanbul, who sent his local agent to rescue them

'We were taken to a wood for five or six days and waited to hear what to do next,' Mehrdad explained this week, dressed in a smart shirt, jeans and trainers given to him by British charities since his arrival in the UK

Finally, in the bitter November weather, the agent told Mehrdad to go to a lorry park where he would 'arrange something'

The first day, he watched other migrants being smuggled onto lorries and leaving. The second day, it was his turn

'I was with one other Iranian. We were really scared. We thought if the police catch us, this is the end

'We were put in a truck carrying crates of food and fruit. The crates were separated so we could hide in the middle and we were covered up

We were ordered to keep quiet.'For nearly two days, with only a few biscuits and water, he and his friend lay in the lorry as it travelled from Croatia through Slovenia and northern Italy to Milan

He reaches Paris — and heads to CalaisMehrdad was, he says now, immensely relieved to arrive in the Schengen zone of the EU where there were no border checks

'I caught a train to Paris. I visited the Eiffel Tower and then I went to Calais

'There, Mehrdad found the makeshift camp where 400 Iranians live on a muddy patch of land next to an industrial site

Some of them gave him a candle, a charity tent and blankets to keep warm in the wet December weather

'If I wanted to sleep I had to put the candle out, so it did not burn the tent down,' he remembers with a rueful smile

At first, Mehrdad tried his luck hiding on lorries going to Dover from Calais on ferries

But one night he and an Iranian friend from the camp were in a lorry park hoping to cut a hole in the soft side of one of the vehicles and climb in when, at 3am, they were spotted and attacked by 'two of the black guys' who did not want them on their trafficking patch

'They had metal bars and we ran,' he says. 'They caught us and beat me on my leg and the back of my head

The French police finally came and the black guys ran away. I was taken to hospital overnight

'Mehrdad explains: 'The Iranians in Calais only want to get to the UK. It is the Afghanis, Iraqis, Kurds, Eritreans and Sudanese who work there as traffickers' agents

'They don't mind living in squalid camps because they are making good money. Each gang of a different nationality has its territory

It is a racket.'Determined to reach England, perceived by Iranians as the most welcoming country in the EU for migrants, he did not give up

After 35 days in Calais, an agent connected to the original Iranian Kurd trafficker made contact

He offered to move Mehrdad by boat to Britain.'I was told to go by bus to a beach called Wissant about 45 minutes from Calais on Christmas Eve

It has a woodland above the sea where I waited until it got dark.'Then he received a mobile message to go to the shoreline

The risky channel crossing begins . . .There, two of the trafficker's agents were pumping up an inflatable boat with an outboard motor

'At 11.30pm, I was told to get in with five other Iranians, a Kurdish man and an Afghani girl who was really scared

I was frightened, too. I was shaking. I thought it was impossible to cross the ocean in such a small vessel

'We all had to help push the boat out so that the engine did not hit the sea-bed

The water was up to my chest. The Kurdish guy said he would drive the boat, but said he was also an asylum-seeker

He had a mobile phone with a GPS signal to guide us to England.' And so the flimsy craft set off, leaving the trafficking agents on the French beach

For three-and-a-half hours, the rubber boat bobbed about in the Channel avoiding big ships on what is one of the busiest seaways in the world

Finally, they came across what Mehrdad says was a 'big red sign' which made him think land was near

It is likely to have been one of the scarlet-painted lightships off the Kent coast that stop vessels hitting sandbanks

'The weather was clear, there were no clouds,' he says. 'We sailed towards a beach using the GPS

There, we lit a fire to keep warm and called 999 to tell the local police we were there

They arrived after 15 or 20 minutes and took us to the police station.'. . . he's detained by UK border force

. .That he survived is incredible. We have co-ordinated Mehrdad's story with Border Force reports of the Christmas Day migrant boats

From these — and his own timings — we know that his inflatable was the first of the five to reach the UK — on a beach near Folkestone just before 3am

From Folkestone, Mehrdad was driven to Barking, East London, for questioning by immigration officials

He told them he was claiming asylum because he fears persecution in Iran. . . and PLACED in a Birmingham hostelThen, a Home Office van took him to Birmingham where he was put up for a few days in the BH Residence hotel before being moved to the hostel where he now lives

'It is old, dirty and the bathrooms are not good,' he says. 'It is just a start for me

'Of course, if Mehrdad had time to pose happily for photos in front of the Eiffel Tower, it begs the question why he — and other Iranians — refuse to claim asylum in France and do so in the UK

When we asked him this, Mehrdad said: 'I had heard not so many great things about France, that it was not safe to go out at night [as a migrant], so I did not want to stay

'They are the kind of scare stories peddled by the Calais traffickers to encourage Iranians to buy a place on their boats to England

Of his old life, Mehrdad adds: 'Any opposition to the strict Iranian government is not allowed

There's no equality between men and women. Everything is in favour of men. 'It is not like Europe with its free speech

My political group wanted open debate about how women should not be forced to wear the hijab which is the rule in Iran

No other ideologies, apart from Islam, are accepted. Everything is monitored: Facebook, YouTube and they have now got their sights on Instagram, too

'No wonder Mehrdad ran away.He destroyed his old phone in France — on the orders of traffickers who don't want their own numbers traced by UK immigration officials — and has a new one (given to him by refugee organisations in Birmingham)

He has called his delighted family to say he is in England. They told him his two 'night letter' friends are still in prison and he is convinced they're being 'mistreated'

He spends his time aimlessly wandering around coffee bars near the hostel and, thanks to an invitation from another migrant, going by bus to a Christian church group in the village of Dorridge, ten miles from Birmingham

Though born a Muslim, Mehrdad has renounced Islam. He hopes to move from his 'dirty' hostel into permanent accommodation

With his diploma in metallurgy, Mehrdad may well turn out to be an asset to the UK

Let's hope so.In the meantime, it is taxpayers who will provide for his new life

For, as he finishes his coffee, he assures us: 'I will never return to Iran while the present Islamic regime is in power

'Home Office staff, though, may not agree. Immigration officials must decide if Mehrdad, and the boatloads of Iranians who have reached Britain, should be allowed to stay

One thing is sure. On the coast of northern France, hundreds of others who have fled the oppression of Iran are massing and waiting to make the same sea crossing the minute the weather improves

Explaining my Gender: What is a Nonbinary Woman? [CC] - Duration: 8:22.

Hello, this is Anna.

In one of my last videos, I came out as a nonbinary woman.

If you want, you can watch it, I put the link below.

I did give a little explanation of what it means,

quoting a definition by Riley J. Dennis, whom I was drawing in that video.

While this was a very good explanation of what "nonbinary woman" can mean,

and I got really excited when I first heard it,

I've been thinking a lot about how I, myself,

would explain my gender and had some other ideas how to more accurately explain and visualize it.

Now, I want to make it clear that this is how I define it for myself

and not everybody who is nonbinary necessarily sees it the same way.

I would like to start with the gender binary.

The two gender categories most of us grow up with are, of course, man and woman.

Usually, we're assigned one of these at birth, depending on our genitals.

Babies with vulvas are categorized as "girls" and babies with penises are categorized as "boys".

Side note: This is a very unreliable way of identifying someone's sex because

a) there are more than two different kinds of genitals

and b) there are more factors than just genitals that determine biological sex.

I'm going to link another video by Riley J. Dennis below,

because I could not explain it any better than she already has.

But let's go back to this image here.

We have two circles, one with an "M" for men and one with a "W" for women.

We are assigned one of them at birth, based on our genitals.

But even if we stayed in this binary for a moment and looked closer at how society defines gender,

we can quickly find more things that supposedly are connected to our genders, right?

Men aren't just "humans with penises" and women aren't just "humans with vulvas".

We have a whole set of characteristics that we define as "manly" or "masculine"

and their opposites, which we define as "womanly" or "feminine".

That can be our behavior or personality traits, for example being active vs. being passive.

Or being dominant vs. being submissive.

Being rational vs. being emotional.

It can also be the shapes of our bodies or certain abilities,

like being physically strong and muscular vs. being weak and fragile.

Also the way we dress our bodies, the way we move, the way we talk…

almost every characteristic about us is classified as pairs of opposites in these two categories.

And while sometimes it's quite acceptable if a person from one category

has a personality trait or ability that we would categorize with the opposite,

like, for example, when a woman is or good at assembling her own furniture,

we usually find it irritating when people we would classify in one category have too many characteristics

that we associate with the opposite one.

We are even more confused if we can't tell by looking at someone which category they're in.

What I'm trying to say is that the way we define gender depends on way more than just our genitals.

What I also want to say is that this is all crap.

I say, that all of these characteristics are not "masculine", or "manly"

and they're also not "feminine" or "womanly".

They are just neutral characteristics that people of any gender can have.

And sometimes, some of them are a big part of how they express THEIR individual gender,

but they are not immutably linked to one particular gender.

For example, a person can identify as a woman and have a lot of characteristics about them

that society would categorize as "masculine".

She would still be a woman because her gender expression is not the same as her gender.

So.. let me conclude what we have so far.

It's not our biological sex that defines our gender.

It's also not the way we dress or behave or any personality traits that determine our gender.

So what is it? I think it's best explained by saying: It is a feeling.

If you feel like you are a woman, then you are a woman.

If you feel like you are a man, you are a man.

And there are some people who don't feel like a man or a woman, or who feel like both.

And that often is explained by drawing this line between "Men" and "Women", like here.

So it's a spectrum, and you can be anywhere on this spectrum.

So, a person who is right in the middle would be 50% woman and 50% man.

Or someone here might be 20% woman and 80% man. Right?

This is a very good way of explaining that there are, in fact, more than two genders.

But for me, it's still too limiting. My problem is this:

As I said, "M" and "W" are defined as opposites.

That means, they are always defined in relation to one another.

A man is defined as "not a woman" and a woman is "not a man".

They are two opposites complementing each other.

And this does not change much by just drawing a line between the two.

All the genders on this line are still defined in relation to those two categories.

As I said, 50% man and 50% woman. 20% woman and 80% man.

Those are all people who still live between these two binary poles. It is still a dualism.

I'm not saying it's wrong to identify on that line.

If that's where you are, it's absolutely valid. It is just not where I am.

I identify as a nonbinary woman.

To explain what that means, I would like to look at the "nonbinary" part first.

I am a woman, but not a 100%. If we use this graphic,

that would mean I move a little bit on that line away from the "W".

The problem is that this automatically implies that I am closer to the "man" side of the spectrum.

Like, maybe, 70% woman and 30% man.

But what if those 30% are not "man"?

What If I feel like a woman and, in part, neutral?

What If I feel like a woman and, in part, a third gender? Or a fourth?

Now, secondly, let's look at what "woman" means, because we have many different definitions of "woman".

If "woman" is defined in a very traditional, conservative way, then it's not really the right category for me at all.

That doesn't mean I have nothing in common with that category, but I just don't really fit in there.

But there are other definitions of the term, and some of them feel more like me than others.

So.. If I'm a woman or not is kind of relative, depending on which definition I go with.

I go with "it's a feeling". And, what's most important for my own definition

is that I am not a woman as in "opposite of a man".

I am not a woman as one of two complementary categories, so let's remove that line.

And now look at what we have: it's not a binary anymore.

It's a pluralism, a gender diversity!

There are many different genders,

and they are not all defined in relation to these two traditional gender categories.

They are their own categories. And all of them can overlap.

So, in my case, I am, to some extent, a woman, but I am also a little bit of this,

and this, and this, and maybe even a tiny bit of this.

And that's why I identify as a woman who is also "genderqueer" or "nonbinary".

IT WAS A ROUGH WEEK | DEAF YOUTUBER | JoelinelifeVlogs - Duration: 7:13.

Yeah, it's been a really rough week.

I'm just done.

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my channel.

So right now if I look so happy

Eh,

Not really, it's been a really rough week

So, it all started out last week

Maybe a week and half ago

Umm, I slept wrong

Uh, my neck, you know, you know how when you sleep wrong

And your neck hurts

So that's what I had

And I was like ugh it will go away two to three days

So I'll get over it.

And,

One of the cats is behind the camera, so jumped up

Umm, guys knock it off

They've been going crazy, ow, ow, ow

See, see, see, that hurts!

Few days later went by and my neck felt better

However, the back...

So you might see cats, two, I have two cats.

So, their probably be in the video

My back, my chest, my shoulders

Is in a lot of pain

I'm having a hard time breating

I have a hard time walking

And, I was just like, I will just let it get better on it's own

Do some stretches

Um, it's not working

I have CBD oil, I have a pain killer, like advil, or something, you know I have that

And that dosn't work.

I found my puffer, because of my breathing

And that seems to help with my breathing, but not for long

Today, I'm gonna go to see a doctor

I'm tired of this pain and it hurts

It's exhausting

I've been really quite, I can't talk, I can't sign

Obviously I'm doing it right now, but it's painful

Right in the back

Ow, see?

Yeah, it's been a really rough week.

I made pinto beans in the Instant Pot

So, I have some leftovers which I'm probably gonna eat

that before I leave

Peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, I've been eaten that

It's just so soft, it's easy to make

I haven't been making dinner this week.

It hurts, it really hurts

Um, I'm trying to think what else

*sigh* It's just...

I'm just done

I love this applicator

OW

it's called pink kiss by elf

I like it.

Makes my lip soft and shiny, yay

I'm eating my beans

It's so good

I'll be okay to drive.

Basically I'm gonna be on the right lane

And just stay on that lane, so I don't have to turn different lanes

Guys,

C'mon,

let's be friends please,

thank you.

Yeah, I was gonna say

I'm gonna stay on the right lane and just keep going

All the way on the highway, don't change lanes

So, I don't have to use too much turning my neck

Guys, be friends please

Ow, I'm trying to laugh, but

that hurts

I'm in the car right now.

I'm getting ready to go see my doctor

Umm, right now it's really warm outside, thank goodness

Because, I can't handle the cold with my back right now

So, having it being warm, I dont have to squeeze of being cold

Yeah, I will let you know what the doctor say.

And hopefully it's nothing serious

I hope.

And maybe it can all be related to sleeping wrong last week

And it just kinda made it worst

I don't know.

So, yeah, umm, I'll be back soon.

Last night after I went and saw my doctor

I found out that I pinched my nerves on the back.

So she prescribed me for steroids

And umm

Muscle relaxer to help with the tightness

So when I got home after I took that, I went to bed

Steroids is for like the congestion for my chest

Take that for 5 days only

Don't do any like exercising and plus rock climbing

Cause I do that twice a week.

So, she said no, I need to take a break for a week

So, I think my plan for the day, is to do the dishes, I really need to do that.

And do some laundry, because I'm wearing my boyfriend's shirt

Because all my clothes are dirty, so I'm gonna do that today.

I'm gonna edit this vlog

From yesterday and today.

Thank you so much for hanging out with me yesterday and today.

I hope you enjoyed it

If you did, please give it a thumbs up

Subscribe if you're new

And I will see you later

Bye

I can't go up

Bye

The January transfers that should have happened but didn't - and why - Duration: 5:14.

The January transfer window is now firmly shut, with Premier League clubs spending a total of £138million over the month

The biggest deals saw Gonzalo Higuain move on loan to Chelsea , Arsenal draft in Denis Suarez on a temporary deal from Barcelona and Dominic Solanke make the switch from Liverpool to Bournemouth

But what of the moves that got away?  For every successful transfer there is usually one that doesn't quite make it over the line, and that was no different in this window

Here are the moves that didn't quite get completed in time and the reasons why they fell by the wayside

Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang to Arsenal  At one stage it looked highly likely that the Gunners would bring in Belgian midfielder Yannick Carrasco as well as Suarez

The club were in negotiations with Chinese club Dalian Yifang over a loan move, and it seemed only a matter of time before the deal was announced

It all collapsed, however, due to a disagreement over the loan fee. There was also internal upheaval at the club when the news broke that head of recruitment Sven Mslintat would be leaving

Arsenal fans will no doubt be disappointed that they couldn't capture Carrasco, who would have added an extra option to their beleaguered midfield

Christopher Nkunku from PSG to Arsenal  Arsenal were also left frustrated in their attempts to sign young Paris Saint-Germain starlet Christopher Nkunku

The sticking point again appears to have been the size of the loan fee, with the French club demanding more than the Gunners were willing to pay for the 21-year-old midfielder

It meant that Arsenal ended up with only one signing, something which will no doubt be lamented by both supporters and manager Unai Emery himself

Idrissa Gueye from Everton to PSG  Toffees fans will no doubt be breathing a sigh of relief that they managed to hold onto one of their star players after a move to PSG never materialised for Idrissa Gueye

The Senegalese international handed in a transfer request in a bid to seal the transfer, but Everton rejected a bid of £26

5m from PSG.  They did not return with a higher offer, meaning the 29-year-old will stay at Goodison Park until at least the summer

It will be interesting to see how Gueye reacts to the disappointment of being denied the move, and whether his performances could suffer as a result

Nicolo Barella from Cagliari to Chelsea  It was reported mid-way through the transfer window that Chelsea were willing to shell out an eye-watering £45m to secure the services of Italian star Nicolo Barella

The 21-year-old has impressed in Serie A this season, and Chelsea boss Mauricio Sarri is known to be a big fan of the player

However, as well as the high fee being a stumbling block, Barella's wife is six months pregnant, and it is thought that the player does not want to leave Italy until the baby is born

Although Cagliari kept their man this time, this may be a potential move to keep an eye when the window opens again in the summer

Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea to Bayern Munich  Chelsea fans were furious when news broke that the club may be willing to let one of their hottest young talents, Callum Hudson-Odoi, move to Bayern Munich

The Bavarian club were alleged to have made a total of four bids for the player over January, with the last worth a total of £35m

Hudson-Odoi also seemed keen on the move, and even handed in a transfer request in a bid to make it happen

In the end, however, the Blues resisted temptation, claiming the player is a big part of their future plans

They will be all too aware of Hudson-Odoi's itchy feet, however, and will surely have to give the 18-year-old more first-team opportunities if he is to stay at Stamford Bridge

Groundhog Day 2019: What is the story behind the BIZARRE annual US tradition? - Duration: 5:14.

How To Format Your Contact Information And Include It In Your Resume To Attract Employers - ANIMATED - Duration: 13:35.

After you have put in your efforts to write your Contact information and verified the

info to make sure it is correct, it is now time to add it to your resume.

But what is the correct way of formatting the contact information?

How to include this info in the resume so that the most essential information is highlighted

and remains obvious throughout the life of the resume?

In this video, we will see how to format contact information in your resume.

We will also see how to include this contact info in the header section of your resume

so that your resume complies with the standard format and can be considered acceptable by

prospective employers.

Let us first try to understand the importance of formatting the contact information in your

resume in a standard way.

Many employers use Applicant Tracking System or ATS to track and manage the applicants

who apply for the jobs.

This is true for both online resume submission and even when you submit a hard copy of your

resume.

The ATS software works best with standard resume formats and in many cases, it ignores

colors, shaded-areas, custom fonts, odd-shaped bullet points and a bunch of non-standard

elements.

To ensure that your resume gets accepted as a standard format, you need to stick to the

standard procedures as much as possible.

If a resume does not meet the standard format, then recruiters generally tend to ignore such

resumes and focus more on the ones that do meet the standards.

This may cost you the job that you were looking for.

So, we will look at how we can avoid this and turn the tables around so that your resume

gets accepted and you gain a competitive advantage over other applicants for the same job role.

Now that you understand the importance of a standard resume format, let's dive into

the actual resume formatting techniques.

I use Microsoft Word 2016 for creating my resume and suggest you do the same.

If you do not have Word 2016 installed on your system, I suggest you arrange for the

same.

Or if you have an earlier version of Microsoft Word installed on your device already, you

can then try using it to create your resume.

For the most part, you should be able to create it without any difficulty, so go ahead and

try it out, if that's the case.

Once you are ready with Microsoft Word on your device, open up a new Word document.

To make sure that your resume looks professional, you may select any font from the following

list:

• Arial • Verdana

• Times New Roman • Calibri

• Cambria • Garamond

• Trebuchet MS

Avoid using other fonts that are not listed here, especially custom fonts.

You never know how using custom fonts might appear to your prospective employer, especially

if they do not have the font installed on their system.

So, start by selecting "Arial" font or any font shown in the list and select the

"12" pixels as the font-size in your word editor.

Then start writing the following details, each on a separate line:

• Your Name • Your Location

• Your Phone number or Mobile number • Your Email address

• Your Website (Optional)

Including the website is optional and you are not required to include it, if you don't

have one or do not wish to include it.

Let us look at an example of how to write the contact details.

First, write down your name.

For the sake of example, I am going to write down the name as "Alex George Kinhanna".

But I feel that the surname "Kinhanna" might be a little hard for some people to

pronounce or remember, so I am going to specify it as an initial.

So, I abbreviate the name to "Alex George K.".

If you think others are going to find it difficult to pronounce your name, you can abbreviate

it similar to what I have done here, or else feel free to include your complete name.

On the next line, add your location.

We need to specify the city, followed by the State.

So, I enter the location as "San Antonio, Texas".

On the next line, add your mobile number or cell phone number.

I enter the number as "361-123-4567".

If you are a resident of USA and applying for a job listing that requires you to work

outside of USA, then just prefix "+1" to the mobile number.

In my case, I would rewrite the same as "+1-361-123-4567".

On the next line, add your email.

I will enter the email as "alexgeorge.k@gmail.com".

In some editors such as Microsoft Word, the email might turn instantly into a clickable

hyperlink, so make sure you unlink it or remove the hyperlink so that the email remains on

the screen as plain text.

On the next line, add your website if you want to share it.

Entering a website is completely optional and you are not required to enter one.

You may skip this step if you don't wish to include your website.

For the sake of completeness of this example, I will enter the website as "alexgeorgek.com".

When you look at all the details entered so far, it should pretty much look like this:

As always, make sure that you double check & even triple check the details just to make

sure that you do not have any typos in them, especially in the mobile number and email.

If you have made it so far, that's great!

Now you just need to format the information in the header section of the document and

you will be done.

Every resume should begin at the top of the page.

All of the contact information should always go in the top portion of the resume.

This top portion of the document is generally referred to as the "Header".

Other than the contact information, no other information is added in the header.

In the same page of the document, the bottom portion is typically utilized for adding page

numbers and is referred to as the "Footer".

There are three common formats of including the contact information in the header.

They are: • Left-aligned

• Center-aligned • Right-aligned

Let's first look at the left-aligned format.

Double click in the header area of the document to open up the header in edit mode.

Move all your contact information towards the top-left corner of the page and place

it in the header area, like so.

Once you have placed all the information here, make sure that you select all those lines

and "Left Align" by clicking on the appropriate button or option in your text editor so that

the text on all lines are neatly arranged one below the other, towards the left-hand

side.

If the information looks more or less like the one that can be seen here, then you have

pretty much completed most of the formatting.

Let's now look at the Center-aligned format for the contact information.

Once you have placed all the information in the header, simply select all of the information

and click the "Align Center" or "Center" button in the formatting section of your editor

so that all of the information shifts towards the horizontal center of the page and they

appear center aligned.

That is all you need to do to make the contact info center aligned.

Let's now look at the last format for the contact info i.e. the Right-aligned format.

Once you have placed all the information in the header, simply select all of the information

and click the "Align Right" or appropriate button in the formatting section of your editor

so that all of the information shifts towards the right-hand side of the page and they appear

right aligned.

That is all you need to do to make the contact info right-aligned.

After you have made a selection from among the three formats of formatting the contact

info and applied that format to the contact information, the next step in the formatting

process is to select your complete name and change the font to "20" pixels and then

bold it, so that your name is bigger and bolder than the rest of your contact information.

Once you do this successfully, the formatting of your contact details should look similar

to the one shown here.

If it does, then congrats!

You have added your contact details to your resume and also formatted it to make it look

the best!

Now one last step is to include a horizontal line just below the contact info.

If you are using Word 2016, then just below the contact info, on a new line, type in three

underscores ___ like so and hit the enter key on the keyboard.

That should transform those underscores into a full-width line.

Try it out and the result should look like this.

If you are on an older version of Word, then try inserting a horizontal line directly and

the result should more or less look like this.

If you have completed all these steps, then congratulations!

You have successfully formatted and included your contact information in your resume.

Now save the document with your name, using underscore as the word separator and suffix

the word "Resume" at the very end of your name.

For example, in my case, I am going to save the resume as "Alex_George_K_Resume.doc",

so you get the idea.

That is all that you need to do, in order to include all the required contact information

in the header of your resume and make it compatible with the standard format.

Now go ahead and take the first step towards creating a powerful resume by adding the contact

information in the header of your resume and verify the information to make sure that you

have added all details correctly.

That's all for now.

Will see you in the next video.

Buckethead Loves Slunks - but What is a Slunk ?? - Duration: 5:07.

Good evening everybody. So Buckethead loves slunks? But, what the (bleep) is a slunk?

Whether you've been a fan of Buckethead for a long time or you're just discovering the wonderful world of 'bucketheadland'.

You will have some point come across the word 'Slunk'.

From album titles to song names to slunk passes. There's bloody slunks everywhere! So, what is it?

If you google the word slunk, it'll give you a few possible answers.

"Slunk meaning: Being both slutty and drunk simultaneously"

And after eliminating the one's it couldn't possibly be You'll be left with…

a calf that was either born prematurely or aborted.

Yep, that sounds just like something Buckethead would be into.

"Stuff it up a cows ass" (Maximum Bob)

But, how do we know thats what it means to Buckethead?

"Duct tape it in real tight and turn it on" (Maximum Bob)

One of the first times the word 'Slunk' is mentioned is by Bill Moseley from the song 'Jowls' from Bucketheads 1999 album 'Monsters & Robots'.

"Save me the Slunk" (Bill Moseley)

But it wasn't until a few years later, after several more mentions of the word 'Slunk', when buckethead released the album 'Cyborg slunks' and gave us the full definition of a slunk.

Inside the Cyborg Slunks booklet there's a long story detailing the backstory of the slunk. If you wanna pause it and read it (english only) go ahead, but the short version of the story is:-

Bucketheads arch nemesis 'Slipdisc' has returned to destroy buckethead and his theme park, with, a robot wearing the skins of deformed cows, also known as a cyborg slunk.

So because of this, we know that Bucketheads definition of a Slunk is a cow.

Whether it's premature, aborted, a fetus, deformed or a cyborg, it's a cow.

This is further confirmed by the cover of the 2009 album 'Needle in a slunk stack'. Showing a pile of dead cows. Nice.

"Boy that will make you feel so good if you got a muscle binged up but not for cows" (Maximum Bob)

So, whenever you see a Buckethead album or song mentioning a 'Slunk', just think of a bloody, deformed, aborted cow and then it should all make sense.

Uh, most of the time.

Subaru Tells Us A Next-Gen BRZ Is Definitely Going To Happen - Duration: 3:16.

Only yesterday we read a report that the Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ 'twins' would not be replaced once their life cycle comes to an end

This struck us as odd, so we decided to investigate. The good thing with the World Wide Web is that you can get tonnes and tonnes of information

The bad thing is that you can also get tonnes and tonnes of misinformation.Oftentimes, it's hard to distinguish between the two, and even huge media outlets have, more than once, been duped

After we talked to Toyota yesterday about whether the 86 was going to be axed, and receiving an immediate reply that this is totally false, we thought we ought to chat with Subaru, too, and find out their plans about the BRZ

Subaru USA spokesman Ron Kinno's response was swift and leaves no room for interpretation: "We do not endorse this report coming from Japan's Best Car", he told CarScoops

"We are moving ahead with a next-generation Subaru BRZ, but have no further details at this time

" This is indeed good news for petrolheads who, due to dwindling demand (and sales), have little choice when it comes to a fun to drive compact sports car

People might cry 'badge engineering!' and, for the most part, they are correct, but considering the low sales volumes, as the sports car has also become a victim of SUVs, a joint project is the only way to roll out such a model without losing money

Kinno's answer might also hint that Toyota and Subaru will, once again, cooperate on the replacements of their compact coupes

After all, the 86 is manufactured at Subaru's Gunma assembly plant alongside the BRZ, and it would not make sense for any of the two automakers to develop the next-gen of their model alone

Will they stick to the flat-four engine? Probably. Will they use a revised version of the current platform? Given the accolades it has amassed, that's very likely

Will they, at last, fit an engine with more than 200 HP, as their customers want? If the redesign allows for its fitment without ruining the handling balance, we don't see why not

When can we expect to see them launch? Can't answer that one, although we guess they shouldn't be more than two or three years away

And for the record, the opening rendering that was made by CarScoops' own Josh Byrnes a few years back, wasn't for a BRZ replacement, but for a higher-end sports car aimed at the Nissan GT-R

If you want him to take on the next BRZ now that we know that there will be one, all you have to do is ask…

Gamerturk's Ultimate Review | SAO: Fatal Bullet DLC4 Dissonance of the Nexus - Is it good? - Duration: 11:21.

Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet's fourth DLC, titled Dissonance of the Nexus in the West,

aka Diva of the Snow Fields in Japan has come out just over a week ago, bringing some more

fan favorite characters from the series into the Game, Sachi, YUNA, Eiji and Seven.

But how does the DLC compare to the previous 3 DLC Chapters?

Welcome everyone, I'm Gamerturk and this is my Ultimate Review for Fatal Bullet DLC4,

Dissonance of the Nexus!

As usual, like my Alicization Explained series and my recent playthroughs, you can find Timestamps

in the description and the pinned comment to navigate freely through this review and

skip certain bits if they do not interest you.

The description and pinned comment also feature my ongoing Giveaway that you can join, as

well as Amazon and Book Depository affiliate links if you are interested in any kind of

SAO material and want to support my channel at the same time!

But with that out of the way, let's start with Dissonance of the Nexus.

There are 3 aspects that I feel are important.

Story, Content and Characterization, 2 of which the base game failed at and all 3 that

the 3 DLC Chapters failed at.

So, let's begin with the story that takes place after the main games True Ending and

while there is not much to spoil here, you can still choose to skip ahead if you want

to experience the DLC story yourself.

The DLC was heavily advertised as "2 parallel storylines" and well...

To a certain extent that is true.

We have one storyline that involves Kirito and the main cast, following some rumors about

Ghosts in a new area, coming across Eiji from Ordinal Scale looking for "someone", which

we all know is YUNA but can't be explicitly told so, because otherwise the plot just doesn't

work due to a reason I'll mention in a bit, and eventually finding a copy of Sachi, somehow,

and we have to save her before she is consumed by an expanding Black Box in her consciousness.

The second "parallel" storyline follows the Alternative Gun Gale Online cast, which you

should totally watch the anime of if you haven't done so already, also being joined by the

GGO newcomer Seven and eventually crossing paths with the Diva YUNA from Ordinal Scale,

that we never tell Eiji about because nobody bothers to mention it during the actual main

story of the DLC to avoid what could have become a neat struggle between the cast members.

And while the stories are running "Parallel", they are...

Not really that...

I was hoping for a more free-form approach when they advertised "2 Parallel Storylines",

but instead, the story just feels like your usual linear story, it's just that the game

forces you to tend to Kirito and Co for 10 minutes and then sends you off to AGGO for

the next 10 minutes.

It certainly is more of a sequential linear story of all things, than actually being parallel

which makes the interconnected parts of both stories to be a little forced if I am to be

honest.

Doing a quest with AGGO cast breaking a barrier that Kirito is facing, us spending a lot of

time with YUNA, yet never letting Eiji know because he couldn't be bothered to mention

who he had been searching as if it was some mystery...

But while there are easy nitpicks to be made in this DLC, compared to the base game story

and the DLC's, Dissonance of the Nexus is miles ahead in terms of providing an entertaining

story with a proper conclusion and thanks to that, it allows the player to just enjoy

the story by overlooking these small nitpicks.

And that has 2 reasons.

1) The story actually has a proper establishment.

Although the roots of the story does not generate from the efforts of the Fatal Bullet writers,

the existence of Ordinal Scale provides a decent enough tension between Kirito and Eiji,

as well as certain bits and pieces of development to them, which was extremely refreshing to

see.

And that tension and development exists, because the game, on numerous occassions, confirms

that the events of Ordinal Scale have already happened in the Gameverse, thus giving us

an established personality for Eiji, rather than just blatantly introduce them without

any information, as was the case with the previous DLC Characters, including Clarence

and Shirley in DLC2 that had at least 1 episode dedicated to them in the Anime, but seemingly

pulled out of nowhere so the audience did not have any material to relate to their current

personalities or partnership.

Eiji on the other hand, had the benefit of the entire Ordinal Scale, as well as the prologue

to OS, Hopeful Chant and the epilogue to OS, Cordial Chords.

I'll also include a link for these beautiful sidestories expanding greatly upon Eiji and

Yuuna's past and their future respectively that you can read for free, but speaking of

these, the underlying plot, explored in the True Ending of the DLC4 also works, because

instead of re-inventing the wheel in an unimaginitive way, they simply took the basis of Cordial

Chords and used it to tell a compelling story and conclusion to Eiji and YUNA, which I'm

certain would never be in any animated medium for fans to enjoy, especially for the western

audience since it was never officially translated.

The second reason for the enjoyable story experience is that the characters, for the

first time since the base game, actually feel like characters, instead of soulless exposition

machines!

Even in the base game sidestories, barely could you care for the characters, exasperated

by the fact that they would be speaking to the mute OC most of the time as exposition

tools.

In DLC4, they are actually interacting with each other, with their usual, human-like personalities,

struggles, emotions, fears, pasts and your OC is just on a trip with these enjoyable

characters.

We don't need boring exposition as to who these characters are, we already had 4 games

prior to these, we had 2 Seasons and a Movie of an Anime, with the third season currently

airing, we know these characters and we need them to act like themselves rather than being

a shell of themselves and that is what this DLC achieves.

As mentioned earlier, Kirito and Eiji's past together is used neatly, as Kirito understands

where Eiji was coming from, since he was in the very same situation when he had lost Sachi.

We see Kirito's past regrets being re-ignited, as Sachi returns for the second time just

to die and then be re-animated, which is a huge issue on its own, but instead of going

off on a tangent, I'm just gonna direct you to my Bloated Gameverse Cast video, click

the icon on the top right corner if you are interested, and it does a great job at normalizing

Eiji and his actions as well.

On the other hand, the AGGO Cast, having incredibly boring character events with the free day

1 DLC, finally are back to their usual cheerful and colored personalities that we know from

the main canon that are just outrightly incredibly to follow and listen to.

But to recap, especially for those who skipped this bit due to spoilers, the Story of DLC4

is much more enjoyable than the stories of previous DLC's and the main game by having

a concrete, concise and complete story, with accurate and enjoyable portrayals of these

characters for once, while also bringing a beautiful story from the not-even-officially

translated Cordial Chords to your screens, that I still strongly recommend that you read

via the free Fan Translation by Gsimenas that you can find in the description.

Sure, the true ending ends on yet another cliffhanger, even after we had one Alicization

cliffhanger at the end of DLC3, but I did not mind it all that much, since the DLC already

offered a complete story on its own, rather than Itsuki running away in the base game,

and the already short story of Lievre being butchered into 3 episodes that it didn't have

content to fill.

Considering I have covered the story and the characterization in this first bit, the only

question you probably have right now is...

Well...

"I cleared the previous DLC's in 30 minutes, is this DLC so short as well?"

Yes, the actual gameplay content itself.

Now let me be straight with you, the content is nothing mindblowing, it doesn't come with

a huge variety of things to do like Hollow Realization.

But it is much better than the previous 3 DLC's.

It more or less takes around the same time as the 3 DLC's combined if you really are

moving with a fast pace, but this can be justified that the DLC is already cheaper than the Season

Pass featuring the 3 DLC's.

As expected from the game type it is, much like Destiny, yeah, we got re-used enemies

and only the campaign bosses are Original, but knowing the audiences of these games and

being an avid Destiny player myself, I know this is rarely an issue.

On top of it, the White Frontier feels really fresh, instead of the distopian city structures

that we saw everywhere in Fatal Bullet so far and while a minor praise, the Dungeons

actually have a slightly different look as well, rather than being the very same boring

dungeon that we have played since day 1, they have this lovely, glass-like feel to it, fitting

the ice-theme of the DLC.

Also, the dungeons are fairly lengthy, but still are quite linear that you never get

lost, despite the fact that you may have no idea where you are if you open the map, so

it never actually feels frustrating.

We got gorgeously animated cutscenes that makes me wish we actually received more cutscenes,

but isn't that the same sentiment I share after every single SAO Game...

If you havent enjoyed the needless padding like finding random chests to progress through

the story, good news for you as those stuff are exclusively to be done by collectors post-game

now.

Your story progression is not locked by mindless padding, just go through the dungeons, shoot

bosses, have fun and you'll be progressing.

But as I said, there is a bunch of post-game collectables that you can chase if you wanna

sink your teeth in and I'm really glad they went this way, which I believe is the best

of both worlds.

Give the casuals who just want to enjoy the story a hasslefree path to do so, and provide

the hardcore audience things to chase after they are done!

But that is pretty much all I have to say about this DLC!

It's easy to nitpick, but by providing a well established and complete story, supported

by characters with enjoyable personalities, Fatal Bullet finally delivers something.

A coherent and compelling story that you can have fun following without being bored!

Now, since I know there is going to be people asking things like "Where do I get the Wizard

Costume, Eiji's Sword, Braveheart M costume", I am going to direct you to my Discord server.

The invitation link is in the description and we got plenty of collectors there that

can help you with whatever you are searching for.

I'm a completionist, not a Collector, so I do not specifically care for where I can find

the School Uniform outfit that I know I am never going to use, but some lovely people

in the community do, so come, join the server and ask them instead.

I hope this review of the 4th DLC for Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet was helpful for you,

if it was, please do like the video and subscribe for more!

If you have specific questions about the DLC, do ask them in the comments and I'll be glad

to answer them.

Otherwise, I'll see you back in my Alicization Explained series!

Thanks for watching, a huge thanks to my Patrons as always and I'll see you next time!

Stay Cool~

When Bees Attack - Duration: 12:10.

Today's video was requested by Lord Cinder.

If you have any other topics you'd like to learn about subscribe and let us know in the

comment section below.

What Is It?

Bees are flying insects of the Anthophila group, known for their venomous sting and

producing honey and beeswax.

Bees are adapted to feeding on nectar as well as pollen and play an important role in pollination.

This is the transfer of pollen from the male part of the plant to a female part of the

plant thus enabling fertilization and the production of seeds.

They range in size and length from 0.08 inches, for some stingless bee species, to 1.54 inches

for the largest leafcutter bee species.

They have large compound eyes and antennae which hold sense organs tasked with detecting

smell, taste and air movements.

Their mouth parts have a pair of mandibles, which are adapted for chewing and a long proboscis

used for sucking up nectar.

Their bodies have three segments and wings which, in flight, employ the same mechanics

as helicopters.

Even though the stinger averages only 0.007 inches in length, a bee's sting can be very

painful and may even cause death.

Number 6 Chinese Woman A video which became viral in China in July

2018 showed a woman who had been stung in the face by a bee swarm, triggering an allergic

reaction that rendered her features almost undistinguishable.

She'd been trying to catch bees and collect honey up in a mountainous region when the

insects attacked.

As she filmed herself, the woman didn't seem to be very affected by what had happened

and even made a two-line rhyme about it.

It would roughly translate as 'I was bored and went in the mountain to catch some bees/But

I was helpless when the aggressive bees stung me'.

Yet, her face had almost doubled in size.

Her lips, nose, cheeks and left eye became extremely swollen.

This happened because her body's defense system had overreacted to the histamine component

of the bee venom.

Many viewers and commenters, including the woman herself, found the humor in the incident

but the truth is that things could have been much worse.

Where Is It Located?

There are approximately 20,000 bee species, grouped in various biological families with

a worldwide distribution.

The western honey bee, or the European bee, is the best-known and can be found on every

continent, except Antarctica.

Bees can be solitary or live in various communities.

True honey bees are highly social creatures and their colonies are established in swarms

consisting of a queen, worker bees and male bees, or drones.

Each of them has different duties and responsibilities within the colony.

Human apiculture or beekeeping has been practiced for thousands of years, since Ancient Greece

and Ancient Egypt.

In Greek mythology, for example, honey was considered to be the food of the gods.

Beekeepers usually keep their colonies in hives from which they collect honey, bee glue,

beeswax or pollen, for personal or commercial use.

Number 5 Vern Roberts Texas man Vern Roberts was mowing his lawn

outside his Wallis home, in September 2018, when he was attacked by a swarm of Africanized

honey bees.

The aggressive insects overpowered him as he fell to the ground and he tried to stop,

drop and roll.

He could have been stung to death, if not for his wife, Mary, who helped him get inside

the house.

In doing so, the woman was stung over 60 times.

Roberts was stung nearly 600 times all over his body, including his mouth and even down

his throat.

The paramedics arrived to the house but couldn't get to Roberts because his lawn was still

swarming with bees.

Roberts had to muster all the strength he had left to walk outside and get to the ambulance.

He was stung a few more times before he reached the vehicle.

He was rushed to the hospital and spent three days in the intensive care unit but was expected

to make a full recovery.

How Will It Kill You?

The bee is a type of kamikaze of the natural world, as it typically dies after delivering

a sting.

After a honey bee delivers the venomous injection, it leaves its barbed stinger inside your skin,

and flies away thus tearing off its abdomen.

However, the queen honeybee and other bee species are known to have smoother stingers

with smaller barbs and may sting vertebrates repeatedly.

Luckily, the queen doesn't usually leave the hive and mainly uses its stinger for dispatching

rival queens.

When the bee stings it delivers apitoxin and releases alarm pheromones which may attract

other bees from the hive to the location.

These pheromones do not dissipate or wash off quickly and the other bees that are attracted

may exhibit defensive behavior and target the victim with hundreds of further stings.

A strong attack from an aggressive swarm may even cause death.

The main component of the bee venom which causes pain in vertebrates is a toxin called

melittin.

For people allergic to bee venom, a sting can trigger an anaphylactic reaction which

may cause death.

Africanized honey bees are the product of cross breeding between European honey bees

and the African honey bee.

Since 26 swarms escaped from quarantine in 1957, they've spread throughout the Americas.

There's a reason why Africanized bees are commonly known as killer bees.

They're more aggressive, react faster to disturbances and may chase the victim a quarter

of a mile.

Along with killing horses and other animals, their responsible for at least 1,000 human

deaths, with victims being stung thousands of times.

Number 4 Kristen Beauregard In July 2013, Kristen Beauregard and her boyfriend

were at their North Texas farm with their miniature horses when they were attacked by

a swarm of around 30,000 bees.

Beauregard was exercising her Shetland pony, named Trump, when he started to kick and jump.

Within seconds a swarm of bees started stinging them.

According to Beauregard, there were so many of them that they blocked out the sun.

The 44-year-old, her boyfriend and even their horse tried to escape the cloud of bees that

was stinging them by jumping in the pool, but it didn't help.

As they came up for air, the bees stung them in the face and nose.

Beauregard eventually managed to get to the house, where she called 911.

Firefighters in protective gear arrived at the scene and sprayed a special foam substance

to disperse the bees.

Beauregard had been stung about two hundred times and her boyfriend about fifty times,

but they both managed to survive the attack.

Trump and a 6-year-old show horse called Chip died as a result of the numerous stings they'd

sustained.

Additionally, the bees killed five hens and also stung the couple's dog.

Number 3 Paula Andrea Ramos Molina An attacking bee swarm can sometimes induce

such panic and confusion in their victims that it leads to tragedy.

Such was the case for 22-year-old Paula Andrea Ramos Molina.

As forestry engineer in Colombia, she was part of a team carrying out an assessment

in a rural area of the Caldas district, in September 2018.

As Ramos Molina and one of her colleagues were examining the area assigned to them,

they accidentally dislodged a killer bee hive.

The furious insects swiftly descended upon them.

As they ran away from the killer bees that were repeatedly stinging them, both Ramos

Molina and her colleague fell off a cliff.

Tragically, the young woman broke her neck in the fall and died instantly.

Her colleague, whose name hasn't been released, suffered multiple injuries and countless stings.

They remained in the hospital and were considered to be in grave condition.

How to Survive?

Wear light colored clothing and don't disturb bee hives.

If you find yourself swarmed, don't try to swat at them or kill them, as the bees

will only attack you more fiercely.

Don't jump into a body of the water as they'll simply wait for you to resurface and sting

you then.

Cover your head and face and run away until the bees stop chasing you.

If you've been stung multiple times, seek immediate medical attention.

The first and most important part after being stung is removing the stinger, regardless

of the method, and cleaning the wound with soap and water.

A cold compress or icepack can be applied to the affected area along with taking aspirin,

acetaminophen and Benadryl to help ease the itching and pain.

Avoid scratching the area as it will only increase the swelling.

Seek medical attention if the swelling covers an area greater than 3 to 4 inches or if it

persists for over a week.

Those who are allergic should use a self-injectable EpiPen as the release of adrenaline will help

prevent an anaphylactic shock, which can be fatal.

Number 2 Graham Williamson The case of Graham Williamson serves as a

tragic reminder that size doesn't matter when it comes to bee attacks.

It also emphasizes the importance of knowing what you're allergic to.

The father of three from the West Midlands region in England was 6.5 feet tall and weighed

240 pounds.

Because of his stature, he was nicknamed 'Hulk' by his friends.

Unfortunately, Williamson never knew that he was highly allergic to bee stings.

While mowing the lawn outside his home, in July 2018, he was stung by a bee on his foot.

He fell to the ground and his wife, Julie, tried to resuscitate him.

The paramedics arrived to the scene and took Williamson to the hospital.

Julie and his children held vigil at the hospital while the doctors kept him sedated, to give

his body time to recover.

There was a brief moment of hope when his kidneys started functioning again but he eventually

lost his fight for life.

The cause of death was determined to have been anaphylactic shock.

Number 1 Rogerio Zuniga In June 2015, a South Texas farmer died after

he was overwhelmed by a swarm consisting of hundreds of killer bees.

54-year-old Rogerio Zuniga was using a tractor on his field, near Rio Hondo, when he accidentally

hit an old concrete irrigation pipe with the disks from his harrow.

The pipe was home to a 20-foot bee hive and the insects came storming out attacking Zuniga

inside his tractor.

He got out and tried to run away but the swarm followed him.

What happened next was like a scene from a horror movie, according to his sister Lisa.

She told a media outlet '…he collapsed and they stung his body to death.

He had gaping wounds, the bees shredded him basically.

It was horrible.'

Zuniga was found dead at the scene and, in the aftermath, an exterminator was brought

to kill the bees and clear the pipe.

iOS 13 - What We Know So Far - Dark Mode and More - Duration: 7:34.

hi everyone Aaron here for ZolloTech & iOS 13 should show up sometime around

June for us to take a look at and then we'll move on from there

and see the final release in September now every June at the Worldwide

Developer Conference we see whatever's coming out and we have some hints as to

what we might see this time around now many rumors were saying that we would

see a full redesign just like we saw from iOS 6 that we have here to iOS 7, 8,

9, 10, 11, and 12 like we have now this was quite different before this was the

multitasking if you hadn't seen that the menus were quite different and it was

just a different setting overall as far as the way everything worked once we

were familiar with all of that iOS 7 introduced the flat design language and

basically what we see today with the control center and different things like

that although they have changed quite a bit as well over time now instead of a

full redesign we may see a slight redesign and the first thing that we

have pretty much confirmed at this point is that there will be a dark mode and I

have smart invert on right now so this kind of gives you an idea of what it

might look like so on the iPhone that's smart invert if you go into the

music library you get the idea the colors may not be the same whether or

not they're customizable I don't know but that gives you an idea as to well

that didn't really do anything but that gives you an idea as to what it might

look like with smart invert on and it has quite a few errors but you'll see

maybe a dark mode in the app store gives you that sort of idea as well so that

gives you kind of a preview if you want to check that out go to settings go to

general then go to your accessibility settings go to display accommodations

and then go to invert colors and smart invert and you can turn that on or off

now the next thing we may see fully redesigned is carplay if you've used

apple carplay in your vehicle it's basically a larger version of a few apps

on here such as music and music is just easier to use and then you have Siri

integration although if you've ever used it and you've used it with seer

and text voice detects can be very annoying when it's actually reading back

to you I would love to see some changes or some differences with that when it

comes to apple carplay however that's just a rumor at this point now the next

thing that we may see changed at this point is multitasking there's some

rumors of a complete redesign for some things on the iPad to make more use of

this beautiful display we have a hundred and twenty Hertz display that we can't

do a ton with because it's just the same grid layout we're used to so instead of

having this we may have more powerful integration as far as multitasking maybe

some widgets maybe some ways to move between apps a little bit more

efficiently on an iPad and get some more pro use out of it I would love to see

that and there's quite a few rumors as far as homescreen and file management

specifically on the iPad being changed now another thing I know a lot of you

may appreciate is some rumors about dynamic wallpaper and of course I'll

link this wallpaper as I always do but a dynamic wallpaper I wanted to show you

what that might look like because Mac OS already has it and basically Apple was

going to integrate all of these features last year but instead focused on

stability and push them off to this year so you'll see this is a dynamic

wallpaper and what that means is during the day it will change from day to night

so if I slide up you'll see it goes tonight so you get that idea that's just

Apple's website for Mac OS Mohave but you'll see again well if I go back up

here it's dark and it fades in so you can see that for yourself if you'd like

on your iPhone to give you an idea of how that would work so it's really nice

and the final rumor we have about iOS 13 as far as new features go so far has to

do with the news app now I rarely use the news app and in fact I haven't

opened this in quite some time but we may have some magazine

subscriptions in here as well in the future Apple bought a magazine

subscription company and I would love to see that integrated in either books or

news or something like that so that maybe we could have a standardized

format when it comes to magazines on the iPad if you've ever used magazines on

the iPad sometimes the experience can be okay and other times

can be really not too pleasant and it's better just to use a magazine now one of

the things that we may see hardware-wise come along is new ipad and ipod hardware

and that would be really welcome for the cheaper entry-level iPad since this got

a new redesign with the iPad pros this year we'll probably see something more

similar to that but on a lower-cost scale and and I would expect that maybe

even as soon as March along with the new iPod as well since Apple hasn't done

much with that in quite some time now I would expect the iPhones this year also

they have USBC integration now a lot of people said this wouldn't happen I think

you will see it happen and either you'll see a USBC or none at all since Apple is

famous for kind of going portlets as much as it can so will either see USBC

coming to the iPhone or nothing at all and USBC can be licensed just like

lightning so it's not a matter of money there it's something that's more of a

convenience I think that would be great to have one charger for everything now

we do have some bad news and that has to do with older phones it looks like and

this is not a hundred percent confirmed source but it looks like the iPhone 5s 6

and 6-plus may not be joining us with iOS 13 and they may not have the

hardware necessary to run whatever graphical changes there might be they

may or may not but Apple is looking like they're going to phase it out now

originally they said they weren't going to support the 6s 6s plus or the SE but

then that report later recalled it and said well they made a mistake they may

still support a 6s 6s plus in an SE and I certainly hope they do these these are

plenty fast to run most things and the processor still competes when exporting

4k video with the latest processors so I think for the most part we should see

these phones carry over but we may not see the older ones 5s 6 6 plus so that's

pretty unfortunate if that if that happens but it has been some time since

they were released now aside from dropping support for these Apple may

drop support for early iPad minis iPad Mini 2 through 4 the iPad air 1 & 2 and

all all current iPod Touches so it looks

like we may be losing a lot of hardware with iOS 13 but to be quite fair

they have supported it for a very long time on iOS so it seems to be okay that

way but let me know your thoughts about all of these updates in the comments

below would that make you happy to see those changes and what else would you

like to see as well with the dynamic wallpapers and maybe some other things

I'd love to hear what you have to say about it in the comments below if you

haven't subscribed already please subscribe and like if you enjoyed the

video as always thanks for watching this is Aaron I'll see you next time

Who is getting rich off you? The insidious big data economy. | Rita Gunther McGrath - Duration: 3:49.

A conservative estimate of how much your personal information is worth to these data brokers

is on the order of $240 a year for each of us, for millions and millions of people.

And that adds up to a really, really big number.

And a lot of that data, right, and the advertising against that data is just getting sucked out

of conventional sources and going right into the pockets of the big data brokers like Facebook

and Google and even Amazon, also a whole bevy of smaller data brokers-- you know, people

who run little websites like, you know, Housekeepers Like Me and, you know, do you have insurance,

and are you in the market for a new car?

And people willingly hand over this information, which then gets aggregated and copied across

databases and then put into this package which advertisers can then use to target you.

I think we're just at that very early stages where a few people are sounding the alarm.

But that has not spread out to the masses yet.

I mean, all those people posting about their grandkids on Facebook don't understand.

The minute that thing goes up on the internet, they have lost control of it.

They don't own it anymore.

And the minute you do a quiz or the minute you volunteer any information about yourself,

I'm sorry, it's their data, not yours, I think it kind of crept up on them by accident.

And I think about how Google, for example, got into the data business.

They had built this fantastic search engine, but they had no way of monetizing it.

And it wasn't until they figured out that you could sell ads against search-- and in

the beginning, it wasn't collecting personal data.

Let's not forget that.

In the beginning, it was, if I go in and search on tennis rackets and you show me an ad on

tennis rackets, that's kind of OK.

Like, that doesn't bother me that much.

It's when you start to get more pervasive.

And I think where they crossed the line-- maybe without intending to, but where they

started to cross the line was when you start targeting.

When you start saying, I can get you, you know, ads posted to 14-year-olds living in

Princeton, New Jersey who wear Keds tennis shoes, by the time you get that level of precision

posting or targeting, I think that's where you've crossed a line.

And I think we've gotten ourselves now into a situation where a lot of people are going,

hey, what?

You can do that?

And just as an example, so Facebook can actually allow people that want to rent an apartment

to exclude African-Americans, exclude people who are Jewish, exclude people who are Latino.

That is actually against the Fair Housing Standards Act of 1968.

So to me, that's an example of crossing a very big line.

So instead of just saying, OK, if I'm searching for, you know, tennis rackets and showing

me an ad about tennis rackets, going that extra mile and saying, because I know everything

you've been writing and I know that tennis is really important to you and I know that

you spend on average $567 per year on tennis related paraphernalia, I'm going to sell an

advertiser a super targeted ad to just reach you.

I mean, to me, that's creepy.

That just gets to the-- it's not so much about privacy.

It's about this ability to sort of algorithmically target on characteristics we may not want

the world to know about.

An even more insidious use of data to me is if you look at the recent agreement by 23andMe

with one of the big pharma companies to hand over their data.

And it was for billions of dollars.

Now the thing I really think is kind of objectionable about that is you've already paid to have

that data analyzed.

You've not necessarily given 23andMe permission to further monetize that data just because

they have it to other people.

So you know, to me, there's a huge amount of institutional lag here.

You know, our rules about property rights and your rights to your own data are so far

behind practice that I think we're in for a big reckoning.

Why toxic relationships are so draining. And when to break them off. | Shaka Sengor - Duration: 6:09.

I think the thing that causes relationships to become toxic are many-fold.

I will start by saying: pessimism.

Being around people who are pessimistic about life is to me one of the greatest obstacles

that stands in the way of greatness, success—whether it's in the workspace, whether it's in

your personal life.

Self-pity, people who tend to wallow in self-pity are to me some of the most toxic, especially

if you have close proximity to them—intimate relations or work spaces—because that energy

begins to translate, and it dims the room and it's just really unsettling.

To me I think it's one of the things that we don't evaluate enough in our lives, are

the people that we allow to share our mental space.

And when you're allowing somebody to share your mental space you have to think of it

like a pristine house.

So you have this beautiful home, and when you welcome people to your beautiful home

you will want them to treat it the way that you treat it and care for it.

So you wouldn't want them to walk in with some muddy boots and just come in trashing

the place, but we don't think about that when it comes to welcoming people into the

interior of our minds and our hearts.

And so a lot of times we'll have people in our lives who wear those mental muddy boots

and they'll just come in and trample all around our mental space and we don't even

think nothing of it because we want to be a "nice person," and we don't want to

say things that may come across as mean.

But I think it's important to recognize the people that you welcome into your life,

recognize the quality, the shared value systems and realize when they're being hurtful or

damaging to your own sense of peace and confidence and mental well being.

I think toxic relationships are some of the most time-consuming relationships.

You're constantly trying to correct behavior, you're constantly assessing yourself based

on those relationships.

I grew up in an abusive household and the abuse that probably had the biggest impact

was the things that was said to me and how I replay those things over and over in my

mind.

So you spend so much time in your own head second-guessing yourself, doubting yourself,

and you can't be as productive and as successful as you're capable of as long as you're allowing

that energy to take residence in your mind.

And it impacts every aspect of your life; you're not showing up as your full self;

you can't be happy.

And even with the idea of happiness I think that we are delusional about what happiness

is.

It's not this sustained thing, but it's access to a part of ourselves that allows

us to have joy.

And so when you think about what do you need in order to have that it has to be fulfillment.

And you can't have a fulfillment in your life and in your workspace as long as you

have toxic people occupying those spaces.

So I think the way that you prevent a relationship from becoming toxic is you have to set real

boundaries.

Those boundaries start with: what are the expectations?

What are the rules of engagement?

What is acceptable behavior?

What is acceptable treatment?

And that starts with you setting the standards for yourself.

How do you show up in your own life?

How do you treat yourself?

What do you expect from yourself?

And that extends outwardly.

And what I found is that when you're dealing with people who are toxic, sometimes they

don't even realize they're toxic because they're just repeating the cycle of hurt

people hurting people.

And even though all toxic relationships don't show up as necessarily intentional hurt, it

can be intentional hindrance or unintentional hindrance.

And so to me you have to set those boundaries very early.

And once a relationship has already become toxic you have to make a choice in terms of

what do you value more: do you value your peace of mind and sense of purpose more than

you value the relationship?

And once you recognize what you value then you have to share that with a person that

may be toxic in your life.

And what I found is that it is very hard for people to end friendships.

It's very hard for people to work in an environment and not communicate or interact

with a coworker, even know that coworker may be toxic.

So it takes a certain level of courage, it takes a certain level of value of who you

are as a human being to say "You know what, this isn't working and we need to sit down

and we need to talk about this."

And I believe in confronting things head on.

If there is somebody who is toxic in my life I'm very explicit to say "Hey here is what's

happening and here's what doesn't work for me, and here are some steps we can take to

ensure that if we're going to interact with each other that it's in the healthiest way

possible."

And if they're not willing to step up to the plate to accept those terms of agreement

then I have to terminate that contract.

Straight Talk: Is It Okay to Date While Separated? - Duration: 4:24.

- Is it ever okay to date a person

who is separated?

- [Audience Member] Yes!

- Okay, so can we have an emotional conversation

and not a legal conversation?

'Cause I'm in it.

I'm completely in it right now.

I filed for divorce.

I took some time for me.

I took ownership of my heart back, slowly.

I was actually that girl that thought,

I'm never gonna date again.

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever.

All my friends were laughing at me.

It's never gonna happen.

But when I was emotionally ready,

I felt free and I felt okay to go out and date

and I'm dating right now

and I'm still technically married,

but in my heart,

I am emotionally separated.

- For me, it's not about what's right or wrong here,

it's how you operate.

And for myself, how I operate is I wouldn't

until you are completely divorced.

And the reason why,

is 'cause if we wanna allow the technicality,

then what's wrong with cheating?

Technically, we're not married, we're just dating.

- Divorce can take years.

Some people stay divorced for financial reasons,

because of family legacy, different things.

Divorce is a paper, paperwork.

- Honestly, I feel like this is where

you sorta have to be a private investigator

because some people are different.

The question now becomes,

okay, what is your intention in the separation?

And you have to be upfront.

- Sure. - Right.

- You want to look into that person's eyes and say,

I wanna hear exactly what your intention is

in this separation, 'cause then that will dictate

how we move forward.

- Dondre, the reality is that most separations

do end in divorce.

The problem is that if you get involved

with somebody who is separated,

you don't even know where it's gonna go.

You don't really have a real value yet.

What that person's struggling with

is am I gonna get divorced or not?

And once I do, I've gotta get through that.

Even getting involved with somebody who says,

I'm going to get a divorce for sure,

that's a very treacherous position for somebody to be in.

- And very different.

Divorcing, I've filed for divorce.

We're separated, we're doing a trial separation.

We're still married. - That's exactly right.

- Those are three very different things.

- Young people always go,

oh, marriage is just a piece of paper.

The Constitution is just a piece of paper, everybody.

The Bill of Rights is a piece of paper.

These marriages are contracts.

They have meaning

(audience applauding) and it is very challenging

for them to break up.

- I've been approached by men who have said,

yes, I'm separated.

So I say okay, where are you living?

Well, we still live in the same house.

Okay, that's automatic no, right?

(laughing) But then I talk to,

I meet a man who says, I've been separated for six months.

We're on track for divorce.

We are both disputing household issues,

who is owed what.

We didn't have a prenup.

This is going to be a lengthy divorce.

She is in a new relationship.

We do not live together.

We have a co-parenting situation with our children.

We have separate residences.

- [Dr. Drew] Are you dating that one or not?

- Maybe, yeah!

This is my thing, you have to use your common sense.

You gotta lurk.

You gotta do the things that you have to do

and if it feels right to you and to your gut,

I don't think there's wrong

with dating someone separated

as long as it looks like it will be ending in divorce,

but no guarantee.

- I agree with what she's saying.

I agree with what Drew said.

Here's the problem.

People don't understand.

The divorce is simply the date

that the court signed off on it.

When you file for divorce, your marriage been over.

So I'm okay with people who are separated

as long as they think it's heading for divorce.

The danger of it is the other person

who may be datin' the person who's not completely divorced.

Feelings get involved.

Somehow, somethin' crazy happen

and here come some reconciliation.

- Yeah. - It depends, too, right?

On how long a person has been separated.

Okay?

Like you said, if you have emotionally done the work,

you know this is not going anywhere,

you know your marriage is over,

you've gone to the therapy,

you've tried to make it work.

It just ain't working, you have filed, it has been years.

That is a whole different story than

I moved out two weeks ago.

Okay, you don't need a relationship, you need a cat.

(laughing) - Yeah.

But like she said.

(audience applauding)

This my buddy right here.

We got some more Straight Talk when we come back.

Don't go away, y'all.

(Jazz music)
