So I don't have channel art. And I make art.
There's something not right about that.
So let's make some channel art!
Now to figure out what to actually make...
Start with eyes and go from there! That usually works.
That's a template from the youtube support page in the background btw.
I wasn't really satisfied with the girl so...
Now comes my struggle to figure out what to actually make.
Ugh... Sideways poses.
I was thinking about doing like, a sketchy pic, fading into a fully coloured pic.
But it just wasn't working.
Then I give up. And go back to the time honored strategy of just drawing heads.
But at least it heads kinda interacting?
With like. Some hint at a pose. That makes you thing they might have bodies?
The pose doesn't really work out though. The arm looked kinda awkward...
So I added another person instead!
Also that head was ugly so...
I made an even uglier one to doodle over.
Now for proper drawing. Instead of just doodling.

Looking back... The middle girls face wasn't all that bad at this point...
But I didn't like the eyes.

I had such a hard time figuring out what hair colours to use.
Also clothes colours and design took forever.
Except for the girl on the right.
I got her colours right pretty much immediately.
You can't really tell my struggles when the video is sped up like x16 times though.
Or maybe you can [insert name of the 1 person watching this]. Who knows.

In dark purple cause I was just gonna set the layer it was on as multiply and using a colour is better than black.

I normally focus alot more on hair but I just wasn't feeling it while making this...

I learned to do it super recently.
Was just watching videos, when I saw a super pretty speedpaint.
So I decided to try to follow along with the video.
Bob Ross style.
I changed some things up though so I wasn't straight up copying or anything.
And I really liked how it turned out so... I can make forest backgrounds now.
Though the original speedpaint was way prettier.
I've kinda known how to do forests like this since before that.
With the whole. Trees fading away in the background thing.
But that speedpaint video kinda showed me how to actually do it.
I've been watching alot of speedpainting videos since I hurt my neck the week before last I think?
Just a crick, but I could barely move my head for a week.
Watching youtube videos gets really boring pretty fast. When you can't really do anything else.
I mean I could listen to podcasts and stuff too.
But I'm not good at just listening to things. I get distracted.
And I think it's pretty much done now.
Yup. Just messing with the colours and adding my name. Cause it's channel art.
I probably didn't actually have to add the name, it's right there on my channel page. But I figured I might as well.

The former Fox News Channel star and Donald Trump foil debuts her talk show at 9 a.m.
EDT, nestled into the four-hour Today show block and competing in most of the country with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrests Live!.
Megan Kelly hosted a Sunday-night newsmagazine this summer to middling ratings, and it returns next spring.
Its the daily talk show, in the lucrative morning market, that will ultimately determine the wisdom of NBC News decision to hire her.
She promises that Megyn Kelly Today, shown live with a studio audience, will be an information-packed hour with a sense of fun.
It will be very similar to the Today show, but were going to have a lot more elbow room, she said in an interview.
Ellen DeGeneres initiated Kelly into daytime TV this week by having her awkwardly toss pizza dough, stuff herself into a fat suit and dance with the audience; Kelly smiled and played along.
It was a long way from her Fox life of pressing the future president at debates, enduring his Twitter taunts and being the ringleader for an hour of politics each weeknight.
The Trump trauma wasnt why she left Fox, Kelly said.
She compared it to her decision to abandon law to become a journalist and ending her first marriage: they werent bad experiences, but she knew there was something better.
The truth, Kelly said, is that shes not a political junkie and cable television news is all about politics.
I dont want to talk about Trump all day, she said.
In fact, the bar is very high for Trump coverage (on Megyn Kelly Live).
If you want Trump, you can watch virtually every channel in the country and get Trump non-stop.
I think people are looking for a break from that.
Not just Trump, its inside the Beltway.

Kelly has quit social media, saying Twitter is a den of misogyny.
Theres always somebody who wants to pull you down, Kelly said.
The more you mire yourself in that negativity, the more they steal your mojo.
I just feel like this is between me and my viewers.
The noise along the ride — I cant listen to it and I know my viewers wont listen to it.
Theyre going to watch the show and either theyre going to feel a connection to me or they wont.

A party is not a party without some good old sausage rolls.
But they can often be a little bit oily and heavy.
So I'm going to show you a fantastic recipe today
that's loaded with veggies and actually quite low in fat and everyone's going to love them.
Now, I've got a whole selection of different veggies here.
You can use really anything that you have lying around in your fridge.
I've got some sweet potato,
I've got some beetroot,
I've got some onion,
some carrots,
and some zucchini.
I've also got some chicken mince, which is fabulous because it's nice and lean,
some parsley from my garden,
a garlic clove,
some fresh thyme,
a bit of salt,
some tomato paste, and some eggs.
This part is really simple if you have a food processor.
You just throw all of your vegetables into it and let the food processor do all the hard work.
Right, all my veggies are blended up.
I'm just going to transfer them all into a frying pan and just sweat them off just on a gentle heat until they wilt,
just to sort of give them a little bit of a cooking start.
Now, this won't take long and is not a mandatory step, but I like to do it.
As you can see, it's a beautiful pink colour from the beetroot
and I think that also makes it a little bit more fun for kids.
Right. These are soft enough now.
And I've got two sheets of low-fat puff pastry that I've just pulled out from the freezer.
I'm gonna sit them on the bench just so that they soften up a little bit, enough for me to work with.
I don't want them to be too hard or too soft, so time is of the essence.
So while the veggies are cooling, I'm just gonna take my chicken mince
and all the other ingredients and mix them together in a bowl.
So I take my pastry sheet and a not-so sharp knife, and I'm just scoring it right down the middle.
Now, the filling just goes down the centre.
You don't want it to be too much so that they won't burst, but you don't want it too little either.
So it's just really a little bit of trial and error, but I find this is sort of a good amount.
I've got a bit of egg yolk here, which makes the fabulous glaze,
but I don't bother with the white of the egg because the yolk's enough.
But I'm also using it a little bit here just to help stick it together.
And then you literally just roll it onto itself.
I try to keep it seam side down, so that when we put it on the baking tray, the seam cut won't burst open.
And there we have it.
Now, I'm just going to give it a nice generous coating of the egg yolk.
And then you just cut them into small sausage rolls.
Children don't eat huge things, remember?
So you don't want them to be too big, and this recipe makes quite a lot.
Then you just pop them onto a greased baking tray.
You can either use baking paper, or just grease some foil.
Now we'll just pop these into a lovely hot oven for about 10 or 15 minutes,
and they'll be delicious.
Here's our first batch out of the oven.
As you can see, they're gold and nicely puffed and cooked through.
Best of all though, they taste delicious and they're super healthy for any party.

Woman bitten by copperhead snake at restaurant in Virginia
Rachel Myrick and her family were looking for a bite to eat at a steakhouse in Virginia.
But she, instead, was on the receiving end of a bite — from a copperhead snake that managed to get inside a LongHorn Steakhouse and attack her on her toes and foot.
Myrick told her story to the Free Lance-Star of Fredericksburg.
She said she and her family had gone to the restaurant Sept.
12 when as she was walking into the entrance, she felt a sharp pain in her foot and shrugged it off.
She thought it was maybe a bee sting.
But then she couldn't walk.
When she stopped and looked down at her sandal, she realized it was a snake — a roughly 8-inch-long copperhead.
"I freaked out," Myrick, who is a real estate agent in Fredericksburg, told the Free Lance-Star.
She said she yelled, "I got bit! I got bit!.
Copperhead snakes are among the most common venomous snakes in Virginia.
And they are known to bite.
Myrick's boyfriend, Michael Clem, told the Free Lance-Star that he saw the snake and stomped on it to kill it.
Myrick was taken to an area hospital and treated.
In photos on Facebook, Myrick showed her swollen foot and toes.
On her body were markings by medical teams to track the swelling.
How the snake got into the restaurant remains an unknown.
Officials at the restaurant chain said they believe the snake may have lived nearby retention pond.
The restaurant's officials told the Free Lance-Star that the incident was "highly unusual" and that it is working with its "facilities team to see how this may have occurred," according to Hunter Robinson, a LongHorn spokesman.

They stepped up and took care of business..
When Jordan Howard scored from 19 yards out in overtime to give the Bears a 23-17 win, Cooper could smile.
He got the pick-me-up he so badly needed.
The mental mistake by the fifth-year pro out of Rutgers hadnt cost his team a victory.
He will learn from it, Fox said of Cooper.
Nobody feels worse than he does.
Its a matter of focus and finishing.
He understands that..
As a cornerback, Cooper understands next-play mentality, having to let go of a negative play to make a positive one.
In the third quarter, his holding penalty in the end zone led to LeVeon Bells 1-yard TD run on the next play, cutting Pittsburghs deficit to 17-14.
But in the fourth quarter, Cooper broke up a pass in the end zone intended for Martavis Bryant on third down.
The Steelers settled for Boswells 32-yard field goal that tied the score at 17-17.
Its a great feeling, Cooper said of the win, the Bears first after starting the season 0-2.

But Wonder is far more than a consummate showman: Hes a tireless civil-rights activist and a global citizen in the truest sense, and he made that immediately clear by taking a knee for America before starting his set.
It is only through life that we can make life happen, for ourselves and for each other, he exhorted the audience, before leading them in euphoric singalongs of My Cherie Amour and We Are the World.
