How To Take A Good Profile Picture For LinkedIn - Duration: 6:29.

In this video, I'm going to teach you the do's and don'ts of a LinkedIn profile

photo. Hi there. I'm Heather Austin from professoraustin.com and The Career

Club on Facebook and on this channel I teach simple solutions to help you

launch a career you love so if you're new here consider subscribing. Before we

get into the nitty-gritty, let me just say that your profile is 14 times more

likely to be viewed and nine times more likely to receive a connection request

if you have a high-quality professional photo. We know that connection requests

lead to higher quality career opportunities so my friends, you can't

wait any longer ,if you are looking to land a new career opportunity or more

clients, you need to master this list of do's and don'ts of a LinkedIn profile

photo. Let's get started! The first DO is to smile in your photo. Show your

teeth. Did you know that your smile can be a predictor of how long you live? Yes!

It's been proven that the more you smile the longer you will live. We are

naturally attracted to those that smile. It shows authority and it makes others

think that you know what's going on around you. You want your smile to be

natural and not forced. Here's a tip. Before your photo is snapped, say a word

that ends in a. For example, ninja, papa pizza. The next DO is to have the neutral

or a solid color background. Here's something else to consider. Try testing a

bright colored background but with a neutral colored shirt. If you do this,

make sure the clothing you're wearing does not overpower the image.

The next DO is to make sure that you are wearing clothing appropriate to your

industry. For men, my recommendation is to wear a dress shirt

with a tie. If that's too formal, try wearing just a collared shirt. For women, I

like to recommend a nice blouse and possibly even a blazer to go over the

blouse. The next DO is to make sure your photo is taken from the elbow up. This

allows a hiring manager, a recruiter or a potential client to fully connect with

you in the image. Let's jump into the don'ts of a LinkedIn profile photo. The

first DON'T would be to don't hold your favorite furry friend. Believe it or

not, I see this frequently. This might be okay on a more informal social platform.

When it comes to LinkedIn, you don't want to have your pet in the picture with you.

The next DON'T' would be to don't use an outdated photo. You don't want to confuse

your connection if they meet you face-to-face.

Make sure your photo is recent. The next DON"T is don't look away from the camera.

This becomes very distracting to your audience and it can even give the

message that you are shy, that you're a pushover or that you're indifferent. Make

eye contact with the camera. This gives the message that you are confident and

assertive and that you are open to new opportunities. This also makes your

audience feel like they are making direct contact with you. The next DON'T

is don't wear a hat or sunglasses and if this is a problem for you

DON'T appear overly sexy in your profile photo. Here's a bonus tip for you. The

ideal size for your profile photo is 400 pixels high by 400 pixels wide and you

also want to make sure it's either in a JPG or PNG format. Here's another bonus

tip for you. If you can and it fits in your budget, my recommendation would be

to use a local photographer to take your photo or go to a local shopping center.

Normally they have a studio or a system set up to quickly snap a

shot. If that's not an option for you, you can use your smartphone. My

recommendation here would be to use this side of your lens rather than the front

side of your lens and I would actually recommend having someone take the photo

for you. You'll actually get a more clear shot. Let's recap! When it comes to a

LinkedIn profile photo, here are your do's. Do smile in your photo. Show your

teeth. Do you have a neutral or a solid color background. Do make sure your

appearance is clean and appropriate for your industry and do make sure your

photo is taken from the elbows up. Now let's recap the don'ts. Don't hold your

favorite furry friend. Don't use an old photo. Don't look away from the camera.

Make eye contact and then the last don't is don't wear a hat or sunglasses. So

hopefully these do's and don'ts will help you when you take your next

LinkedIn profile photo. If you want to knock the rest of your LinkedIn profile

out of the park, make sure you take a look at my 10-point LinkedIn Profile

Optimizer cheat sheet. I'll link it up in the description below and if you want to

HOW TO MAKE "DAHI KEBABS"- MELT IN THE MOUTH KEBABS - Duration: 6:38.

Hi friends this is Akshata here ,with yet another delicious and quick recipe

today, I'll be showing you, how to make some the DAHI KEBABS so let's goon to

our ingredients: this is some hung curd... I will the instructions in the

DESCRIPTION BOX, below as to how I prepared this hung curd, then we require

some bread crumbs ,one and a half tablespoon of rice flour ,you can also

use corn flour one and a half teaspoon of roasted cumin or jeera powder one very

small onion diced very finely ,the paste of two light green, green chilies and

half an inch of ginger and salt to taste now you'll also require some water in a

plate because we are going to make kebabs or cutlets out of this hung curd.

So first let us prepare our mixture, to prepare our mixture we will take this

hung curd,to this we will add our very finely diced onion ,next goes in our

ginger and green chilli paste our cumin powder some salt to taste and rice flour

this rice flour is a binding agent and now we are going to mix everything well

together then everything gets well incorporated

once our mixture is well mixed we are going to start making our kebabs' now it

is very important that you also keep a kitchen towel or a napkin because your

you have to wipe your hands quite often so what we're going to do is we're going

to first wet our hands take a little of the mixture form it into a small ball

and then roll it into your breadcrumbs and press it down to get a kebab like

this now what I like to do is I like to after I make this I like to keep it in

my refrigerator for at least half an hour and then fry it now you can

deep-fry it you can shallow fry it these kebabs are just melt in the mouth kebabs

so you can make this like this

here are my dahi kebabs, ready so I'll be keeping this in the refrigerator for at

least half an hour and then we are ready to fry it. Friends now it's been about

half an hour and the kebabs are all ready. Here I have a plate lined

up with some kitchen paper and I have my oil heating up ,so we are now ready to

fry the kebabs ,you can shallow fry these but they turn out nice and

crispy and soft in the center if they are deep friend

also remember to keep a little bit of gap between them don't overcrowd your

pot. I learned this recipe from my sister-in-law

DR ANAGHA..the first time she had made it for us it was just fabulous and we just

couldn't believe these kebabs, they were so delicious you have to try these

kebabs out.Now once they start browning on the lower side we will turn them so

they fry evenly

this is a very good starter or just a snack item you don't have to fry them

for very long just till they turn a little golden brown and then we will

take them out very gently and in this way I will fry the rest of mine the heat

kebabs again your stove top has to be from medium to slow

don't try it on a high fire otherwise it will get burnt and it would not taste

nice at all the he kebabs please do try out this recipe and please do let me

know how it turned out in the comments box below please subscribe to my channel

for many many more recipes and once you have subscribed please play press the

bell icon so every time I upload a new with you will be the first one to know

Quickly Disable Touch ID on iPhone Running iOS 11 - How to? - Duration: 2:14.

hey what's up guys welcome back to another exciting episode of iGeeksBlog

this Puneet Katri back with another video so basically guys it often happens that

people take undue advantage of you and use or force you to use your fingers in

order to unlock your phone so in such a situation what you can do so this video

is all about how you can just go ahead and disable touch ID quickly in such a

situation when you are forced for something or in case of an emergency so

without wasting any bit of time let's get started alright so guys in order to

go ahead and get started with this video what do you need to make sure is go ahead and

tap on settings scroll down tap on emergency SOS and you need to turn this

auto call option off make sure it's turned off otherwise this feature won't

be working okay so guys once you're there in an emergency situation whatever

the situation is and you want to just go ahead and disable touch ID for quite

some time then what you got to do is just tap the power button for three or

five time continuously okay so once it do this you would get these three option

that says slide to power of medical ID and emergency SOS so I think can make an

emergency call if that's an emergency situation or just tap cancel and that's

it you have successfully go ahead and disabled touch ID now if I go ahead and

do the chai tea or like I've tried to use touch ID on my phone I cannot use

it's a search ID does not recognize your finger so if you want to now unlock your

phone what do you need to do you need to enter the passcode only then if you

enter the passcode you will be having access to your device which means you

are safe from a situation where forceful use of your fingers won't allow access

to your device also guys now we come to end of this video I hope you enjoyed

this video this was a quick tutorial that will help you to just go ahead and

disable touch ID in an emergency situation or in a situation wherein

you're forced to use a fingers to unlock your device by following such easy

process you easily able to go ahead and disable touch ID temporarily on your

device very quickly so that's about it for this video I hope you enjoy this

video if you can feel free to give a thumbs up to this video and also make

sure to subscribe iGeeksBlog the subscribe button is down right there and

How to Make Fluffy Slime | Sophie's World - Duration: 8:04.

Hi I'm Sophie and welcome to my world today it's a fabulous day because I have

the amazing Frankie with us and we are going to continue our adventure in slime

yeah so Frankie and I are on an adventure together to discover slime so

Frankie loves slime and she has been making slime for the past what three

months, 3-4 months right and so she is like the slime queen is that a

good thing to call you sure as long as you don't wear a crown of it

it would be all over you so she is my slime queen so we're going

to be making today what are we making fluffy slime

so I remember hearing fluffy slime for the first time and I was like what is

fluffy slime, so tell us what makes fluffy slime fluffy so it's glue and shaving

cream the shaving cream makes it so fluffy and cloud like just just

I just love it cloud like I love that so we are going to make fluffy slime

for this project you will need white glue baking soda food coloring shaving

cream contact solution make sure that it has sodium borate in it bowls and spoons

so we're just going to make small little batches you and I because we don't have

a ton of space and we don't want to make a huge mess and we want to get to many

different kinds of slime so we're just going to make a 2 ounce glue

version so first thing first we're going to use 2 ounces of white glue okay so

this is your favorite kind of slime to make probably it's the most easy and the

most fun to play with although I have noticed and you tell me if I'm wrong

here but you know like even if you follow recipes like so closely you still

end up sometimes having to wiggle one way or another so we're using 2 ounces

right here but that doesn't necessarily mean that you have to use two ounces

just adjust accordingly ok now I have heard and found for myself that it

works to have like double the amount of glue in

shaving cream yes right so we're going to actually do like four ounces of

shaving cream yeah this is fun

I love the shaving cream okay so and this is just shaving

cream from the dollar store yeah you know you can get shaving cream that

smells like different things yeah yeah like strawberry and stuff like that okay

yeah I'm gonna mix fluffy slime is probably the best thing to make if you

don't have a lot of supplies because you know you can make it with some of the

stuff that you have around your house you mean like your dad's shaving cream

yeah mom or dad's shaving cream and then you like contact solution for

people who wear glasses you know or eyedrops work as a replacement so the

main thing though you were telling me that it's really important that you have

what sodium borate in it yes some contact solution and some eyedrops don't

have that right yes really yeah it has to be one of the top

three or four ingredients there so let's put our color over here so now we're going

to add our color as well right I'll do red

I'll do green okay and you only need a couple drops one of the

things that I have learned about making slime is that if you add too much you

I think added too much well not really I mean I'm talking about I've seen kids

add so much food coloring that it's like floating on the top yeah and then it for

some reasons the activator which in this case going to be our

contact solution yeah the activator won't work because

it's just got so much color and it's like so slimy it's literally like Shrek

bomb slime it's crazy okay so if we could eat this I would because it looks so

good your looks like mint and mine's like lemon okay now we're going

to add a tiny bit of baking soda oh all right

and this we just add a little bit of right like a teaspoon yeah some times

we do like fourth pinches here you go you want to put that in there that might

be a little much because you can always

add more right it's always best to start and then you can always add more so

we're adding about it's probably like half a teaspoon you might end up

needing more again a lot of making slime is trial and error and I will be

completely honest about that that's why I'm always like you know what put down

the plastic and have some fun you know do it outside where you're not worried

and now are we ready for this I think so okay so we just give it some squirts

right you put it in there I usually just add little by little so

that way doesn't get too hard sorry all right reaching across you and you'll

know that it's working it starts to get thicker right away now I found that if

that doesn't work right away so as you can see it's starting to pull away from

the side yes and that's that's what you want you want it to start doing that

but you might again this is trial and error you might want to add a little bit

more contact solution you might want to add a little bit more of the baking

soda I'm going to add a tiny bit more of my baking soda but you'll know that it's

working when it starts to pull away from the sides like that and then you can't

get away from getting your hands in there right yep I mean that's what turns it

into slime I mean that's what makes slime turn into slime yeah now and you

really you cannot get away with it because that's what you really need do

you need anything else are you looking good I need a little bit more contact solution

here so see what I mean about this being kind of like a little bit of you have to

estimate yeah you've got to play with it oh there you go yours is

definitely ready oh I think mines getting there too

so see how it's pulling away from the sides there and like making its own ball

that's how we know that it's all ready to go and then this is where you can't

be shy whenever I'm doing this it is then you

know I get the kids if I go keep rubbing it yeah keeps play keep going keep going

keep going and what's crazy is that even though it's sticky when you start it's

not sticky when you finish exactly well you have you have a trick what do

you use to make it not stick to your hand so

before I play with slime and I know I haven't played with it in a while because you

know sometimes it gets liquidy or more sticky I like to put some lotion on my

hands and that actually makes it less sticky to your hands so what kind of

lotion do you use just any kind of motion lotion can you learn yes it doesn't have

to be expensive lotion no don't have to raid your mommy's don't raid your

mother's closet okay now it was sticky it was all

over my hands and now look it is gone so this is what I always try to tell

people don't panic it's okay once you get some air in it you'll have slime

How to start bean plants from seeds - Duration: 6:51.

Welcome to Parna Garden! In this episode, we will see how to start bean

plants from seeds I am mixing a few items shown here to prepare the seed

starting medium. They are - jiffy's natural and organic seed starting mix, organic

green sand, azomite and rock dust, perlite, vermiculite, and earthworm castings. I am

going to prepare soil blocks and sow bean seeds in them. Because I understand that

the soil blocks don't restrict the roots of the seedlings. In order to prepare

soil blocks I will use this soil block maker that can make four soil blocks at a

time. As you can see here it has placeholders for filling the soil.

Overall it looks like this and at the center of each placeholder is a part

that protrudes slightly and this creates an indentation in the soil block and

that is where I will sow the seeds. The soil block maker has an easy handle as

shown here. By pressing the handle you will apply pressure to the seed starting

medium inside and this creates the soil blocks.

I'm using a container to mix all the items we saw earlier to prepare the seed

starting medium. Here I'm opening the bag of jiffy's seed starting mix and

adding a generous amount to the container as this is going to make up

the bulk of the seed starting medium. Next, I am adding all the other items.

This is a mixture of azomite and rock dust to help provide trace minerals. Next,

I'm adding perlite to this mixture and then I'm adding vermiculite. Perlite and

vermiculite increase drainage and aeration in the soil, which in turn helps

in better root growth. The next item that I'm adding here is green sand.

This contains deposits of minerals that were once part of the ocean floor. It is

a rich source of gluconate which is high in iron, potassium, and magnesium. Last but

not least, I am adding earthworm castings to help provide water soluble nutrients

and humus. Now that I have added all the items to the container I'm mixing them

using a trowel. Then I added some water and mixed them some more. Here I am

adjusting the consistency by adding a little bit more water. When you take a

handful of the seed starting medium and squeeze, if water drips slowly between

your fingers and the mixture holds together without falling apart

when you open your fist you will know that the consistency of the soil is just

right for making soil blocks. If you added too much water the mixture may get

runny and may not hold together.

What I'm going to do next is to immerse the soil block maker into the growing

medium that I just prepared and move it back and forth. This action helps to fill

up the placeholder in the soil block maker. You can remove any excess soil

from the bottom using the Trowel or if necessary pack some more soil into the

bottom. Next, place the soil block maker on a flat surface and press the handle

to firm up the soil inside and make that indentation in the soil block. Here is a

close-up of the soil block that I just made. You can see that there is an

indentation at the center to sow seed.

Once the soil blocks are made I'm placing them one by one in this plastic

seed starter tray. After using up all the soil in the container, I was able to make

the soil blocks you see here. I will show three types of beans. This is a Cherokee

wax yellow bush bean. The seeds of Cherokee wax yellow bush bean look like

this. Bush beans are good for container planting. The next variety is royal

burgundy purple bush bean. The seeds of royal burgundy purple bush beans look

like this. The third variety is Kentucky wonder pole beans and their seeds look

like this. I am sowing seeds by placing them at

the center of each soil block marked by the indentation. I have selected ten

seeds of each bean variety to go into this tray. Also, I have some extra soil

blocks here and I'm sowing some old cucumber seeds in them. After completing

the sowing I'm covering the seeds with some seed starting mix and lightly

patting over them. Next, I am watering the soil blocks from the side so that the

soil blocks stay intact. Finally I am going to cover the seed starter tray

with jiffy's tray cover and wait for the seeds to germinate. In about four to five

days the bean seedlings emerged from the soil blocks as you can see here. Some

of the bean seeds did not germinate because they rotted away due to over

watering. In about a week the bean seedlings were ready for planting. As

opposed to a six pack seed starter container where the roots wrap around

due to limited space, the roots of the seedlings grown in soil blocks are

stretching outward and appear to be free I have planted these seedlings in

containers and hope to harvest some beans before winter. Thank you for

stopping by and enjoy gardening :)

How to Create the Best Worst Programming Tutorial Videos - Duration: 2:35.

- As a developer I've sat through some pretty awful

programming tutorials.

Bad videos can be pretty hard to create,

so in this episode of Open Source Craft,

I'm gonna show you how to create

the best worst programming videos.

First up make sure you pick a good location,

like here in the bathroom.

The acoustics are wonderful.

I love my Squatty Potty.

(groaning)

The closet works too.

It's important that there's lots of things

in the background to entertain your watchers.

(scary music)

That's just creepy.

(scary music)

When you switch to screen cast mode,

same deal, you wanna make sure

all the windows needed

to understand the technology are there, leave nothing out.

Pay no attention to this one over here.

(audience sighing)

Also make sure to show the entire app at once,

preferably in a single window.

You may need to shrink your font a little bit

to make that happen.

Taking about text editors,

be sure you use a font color that really stands out.

You'll want your audience to pay attention.

When it comes to lighting,

you'll want to stick to the extremes.

Either outside with a nice view behind you,

or better yet in the dark.

Nobody really wants to see you anyways,

and if you do film in the dark,

make sure you use a soft creepy intimate voice

so your watchers feel like you're right there

watching them code.

(scary music)

It's not creepy, it's friendly

Let's talk about slides.

Slides can be great to emphasize a point.

Just be sure to use enough of them,

otherwise you might leave something out.

Seriously.

I mean it.

Also be sure to pick a font that breeds trust

lik Comic Sans.

It's the only way to go.

Unless you're using Ruby.

With Ruby you always want to use Papyrus.

It's important.

Also since visual learning is the reason

you're creating videos,

you're gonna wanna make sure you include

a lot of diagrams.

As you can see with this one, the cloud service

can autodeploy the blockchain.

Like awesome.

(children screaming)

Thanks for watching.

If you enjoyed this video please give us a like

or a comment.

Maybe you have other ideas bout how to create

awful programming videos.

And if you wanna learn how to create amazing

programming videos, we're working on a best practices video.

If you wanna get ahold of that,

please go ahead and click the Learn More button

underneath this video

and just drop us your email address

over on codepop.com.

There might also be other videos you enjoy over there.

So thanks for watching.

deficiency improved the general health and fatigue in Australian women of childbearing age.

This sign is more prominent in people who have a lighter skin tone.

Irrespective of skin tone, a low iron level makes the inside of your lips, your gums and the inside of your bottom eyelids less red than usual.

Apart from nutritional deficiencies, aging, long- term use of nail polish and frequent exposure to water can lead to brittle nails.

5. Hair Loss. There are many possible causes for hair loss and iron deficiency is one of them.

A low iron level sends your body into survival mode, during which it channels oxygen to support vital functions as opposed to less important

functions like hair growth. A 2006 study published in the Journal of the American Academy of

Dermatology shows that iron deficiency has a much closer link to hair loss than most doctors realize.

Adequate iron intake may be the key to restoring hair growth.

In fact, women with iron deficiency are at a risk of telogen hair loss,

according to a 2009 study published in Acta Dermatovenerologica Croatica.

A recent 2013 study published in the Journal of Korean Medical Science supports previous studies and reports that iron deficiency can be

a factor in developing or worsening female pattern hair loss, especially in premenopausal women.

To find out whether an iron deficiency is the cause of your hair loss, it is important to measure the amount of ferritin in the blood.
