What Trump Did This Sunday for Harvey Victims Will Make Journalists FREAK Out

Donald Trump never stops moving.

His stamina is utterly amazing, for a man of his maturity.

This morning, he and Melania arose, went to church, and prayed for all the people who

have been so deeply affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Friday, Trump had declared this to be a National Day of Prayer for the victims of Hurricane

Harvey.

Can you imagine what all that prayer is going to do?

If we all lift every victim of the natural tragedy up in prayer, amazing things will

happen!

Watch as Trump sits among religious leaders, along with Mike Pence, announcing this miracle-bringing

National Day of Prayer:

(Courtesy of PBS News Hour via Youtube.com)

Trump said:

"We invite all Americans to join us as we continue to pray for those who have lost family

members or friends, and for those who are suffering in this time of crisis."

Most recently, the number who died related to Hurricane Harvey has climbed to 50.

Please pray for their families and friends.

On Saturday, when he and Melania were back in Texas, he encouraged everyone by saying:

"Tomorrow's a very big day, so go to your church and pray and enjoy the day."

The weather has cleared up there and he just wanted them to feel encouraged and able to

enjoy being alive, even amid the devastation.

I hope you will join in this day of prayer, and lift your fellow Americans who have been

so terribly affected, up.

Let's bring some miracles!

'Will & Grace,' 'Young Sheldon' & More: Which Fall Shows Are Must-See TV? | Access Hollywood - Duration: 4:31.

The new fall shows you need to watch!

Welcome to Access Hollywood.

Alright,

that time of year again, Scott, I love this time.

There are tons of new TV shows to

choose from but not to worry because we've sorted through and we picked the

very best --Yes, and let's not forget the returning

favorites.

Can "This Is Us" live up to its stellar first season?

--Of course they will all but

we start our fall TV preview with perhaps the most anticipated show it is

a familiar one: "Will & Grace" --I was just saying to my wife

I wonder what it will

be like to kiss a man again?

--That crazy kiss marks the triumphant return of one

of the funniest shows on television and here's the best part

"Will & Grace" hasn't even begun to air and NBC has already

renewed it for another season Our TV critics, Variety's

Elizabeth Wagmeister and Jarett Wieselman

of BuzzFeed both agree this brilliant comedy is the one to watch.

--Their chemistry still has not changed one bit

I mean we got to see a little bit of footage of them all together and playing

around on set and it just it feels so great to see Will and Grace and Jack and

Karen back together again --It's like they never took a break

they look the same

they look amazing they sound the same

they act the same and their energy is just great

[Music]

--Capitalizing on one of its biggest hits CBS rewinds the clock on the Big Bang

Theory to Sheldon's childhood in Texas it's narrated by Jim Parsons and even if

you don't watch Big Bang you can't help but love little Iain Armitage who knows

he has big shoes to fill you --I know a lot of people like it

and I'm hoping a lot more like it and I'm hoping it's it's going to do well.

--understand that some people are gonna be intimidated by you

because of how smart you are --or maybe they'll recognize my

intellect and make me their leader --Lord, look after my son

don't let him get stuffed in a gym bag --He's the cutest thing you've ever seen

and even though

he's not even 10 years old yet audiences know him because he actually starred in

"Big Little Lies."

--Two counts of murder have been filed against Lyle and Erik Menendez

--all the years of abuse finally drive them over the edge

--And yet another

spinoff from Dick Wolf's hugely successful franchise comes "Law and Order

True Crime: the Menendez Murders" starring Edie Falco as the brothers

defense attorney in the murder trial of their parents

--Hey, guess who's-- Oh my god.

--What the hell are you doing here?

--Who the hell are you doing here?

--But our experts totally disagree when it comes to the reboot of the

1980s primetime soap opera "Dynasty" starring Grant Show as Blake Carrington.

--It's just good trashy fun.

--the show doesn't feel as luxe as the original did

when you have your lead characters on dynasty getting into a slap fight 20

minutes into the pilot you're like where do we go from here?

[Music] --and now to "This Is Us."

It's not a new show

but it was the most talked-about show of last season.

Can it sustain its momentum?

--all this stuff is coming up about dad --there's no reason to believe that it should

change but we have seen a trend with the sophomore slump as we call it in the

industry which is when this show is the biggest thing you've ever seen in season

one it comes back for season two and it just doesn't quite meet the expectations

I think though that audiences are ready to come back they're ready to cry with

the Pearson family.

--I mean when I hear that theme song I just kind of break out

the goosebumps.

I can't wait for it --I feel like all of the characters have so

much more to show so much more story to share right

--we're finally gonna find out

I think in this very first episode producers have said they're gonna give

us a big hint about how Jack died --I need to know

--we need answers

Because Democrats keep losing in America – it seems like there's little hope of them getting

power in office at least while Trump is president – "The View" hosts had a hissy fit on

air.

With a lot to say about the Democrats' fresh loss in Georgia on Wednesday, they finally

agreed on one thing the Republicans have been saying all along.

The Democrat's Anti-Trump platform simply doesn't work.

America likes Trump too much for that to have any effect on the "real" America.

Even host Joy Behar agrees that the Democrats need to shift strategy if they plan on making

headway.

When the subject of the recent elections in Georgia was raised, the hosts all started

talking at once.

It seems like they all had lots of opinions but little patience in listening to others

– another trait of liberals.

Although several of the co-hosts suggested that Democrat Jon Ossoff performed better

than anyone else could against Republican Karen Handle in a traditionally red voting

district, Behar was forced to level it with everyone.

"The Democrats have lost three elections," she said.

"So if you are using Donald Trump as your basis for your campaign, I don't know if

it's working.

I don't think people are going towards the Democrats, and it's a problem, a big problem."

Although what Behar said makes complete sense, the other hosts felt compelled to get their

two cents in.

Sunny Hostin argued that the election results meant nothing.

They just indicated that the residents in Georgia wanted Donald Trump's part, which

"made sense."

That's when Behar said the brutal truth that upset a lot of democrats.

The fact that they're failing to motivate their people to get out to the polls.

When people vote, the Democrats historically win elections.

When they don't show up, they lose.

And they lost in Georgia.

The Democrats' Anti-Trump message is not galvanizing liberal Americans like they thought

it would.

It seems to be working in favor of Trump and his GOP.

"Generally speaking, Republicans vote in bigger numbers than Democrats.

So the trick is to get these people to the polls," she continued.

"You've got to have a clear message.

You've got to have a charismatic candidate, you've got to promise them things.

You've got to do what Donald Trump did on the right."

Behar then criticized Ossoff for his failings.

If he had moved to a more accommodating district, he could have won.

He also raised a lot of outside money to fund his campaign – and still lost the Georgia

election.

Of course, Whoopi Goldberg had to say something.

Goldberg doesn't consider the latest failure a true "loss" as she explains.

"I don't see it that way," Goldberg said.

"I see that Democrats are coming out, and they're not coming out perhaps in the numbers

you want them to come out in.

[…] I'm not looking at this as a loss, I'm looking at it as slow progress."

What do you think about the Democrat's latest loss at the polls?

Melania Has A Sharp Message For Her Critics — You Will Be Proud Of Her

Melania Trump has had it up to here with fake controversies and attacks on her and her family.

The latest was a fake news controversy around her wearing stilettos to board Air Force One

earlier this week.

Of course she changed them on the flight to Houston and wore appropriate shoes after landing,

but in the midst of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey the media just couldn't

stop talking about her stilettos.

And they didn't mean it in an admiring way.

Well now Melania has a sharp message for her distinguished critics.

And it's perfect.

POTUS and FLOTUS just boarded AF1 to visit communities impacted by Harvey in Texas and

Louisiana.

Her message was simple: she boarded the flight wearing stylish, classy stiletto heels.

Melania has a sharp message for her critics and supporters: I won't back down.

This is a woman you can be proud of.

She stands by her man and she doesn't backpedal from fake controversies.

Eat it, fake news media.

Melania Trump is the best FLOTUS ever, don't you think?

The FBI Will Expose Hillary's DIRTIEST FILES If Everyone Does One Simple Thing Now - Duration: 11:36.

The FBI Will Expose Hillary's DIRTIEST FILES If Everyone Does One Simple Thing Now

Ty Clevenger, a New York lawyer, filed a Freedom of Information Act request concerning Hillary

Clinton's email investigation in March 2016.

Last week he heard back from the FBI regarding the request- and guess what?

His request was denied.

Why was it denied?

According to the FBI, not enough "public interest" was shown to justify completing

the request.

The FBI says that it will only release records from files of former investigations if the

subject directly consents, is deceased, or if there is strong public interest in the

case.

FBI records management section chief David M. Hardy bolstered the last claim, telling

Cleavenger in an email that:

"You have not sufficiently demonstrated that the public's interest in disclosure

outweighs personal privacy interests of the subject."

And also:

"It is incumbent upon the requester to provide documentation regarding the public's interest

in the operations and activities of the government before records can be processed pursuant to

the FOIA."

Now, considering that the Clinton email investigation was a major scandal during the 2016 election

that captivated a good part of the electorate, I'd say that seems like "public interest'

to me.

Clevenger was specifically looking for documents that were filed after a referral to the Department

of Justice from former House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz, who asked the DOJ to:

"investigate and determine whether Secretary Clinton or her employees and contractors violated

statues that prohibit destruction of records, obstruction of congressional inquiries, and

concealment or cover up of evidence material to a congressional investigation."

Clinton was found to have used a secret, non-government, server during her time as Secretary of State.

The FBI determined that she did not deserve charges because she allegedly did not know

the dangers of having a secret serve, even though sje did put national security at risk.

Cleavenger said of the ruling to the Washington Times:

"I'm just stunned.

This is exactly what I would have expected had Mrs. Clinton won the election, but she

didn't.

It looks like the Obama administration is still running the FBI."

"How can a story receive national news coverage and not be a matter of public interest?

If this is the new standard, then there's no such thing as a public interest exception."

A petition has already been started to refute Hardy's claims and prove that there IS interest

in the Clinton email scandal- sign in here!

Something is seriously up with this FBI investigation if they think there's no "public interest."

Sounds like a lame excuse.

Luckily we have people like Ty Cleavenger willing to get to the bottom of it one and

for all!

Get on that petition and sign away, Patriots!

Why Mohamed Salah Will Score Plenty For Liverpool This Season | Tactical Profile - Duration: 2:47.

Mohamed Salah is a left-footed winger who tends to play on the right; he can also fill

in as a left-winger or a striker.

One of Liverpool's potent attacking trident, Salah, like his opposite

number Sadio Mane, plays on the opposite side to his stronger foot.

Along with Roberto Firmino's ability to drop and link play,

these three create an attacking unit for Liverpool that

can attack from anywhere and create multiple problems for markers.

Between the three of them, Salah, Mane, and Firmino have scored seven of Liverpool's

eight goals this season:

Sadio Mane – three goals of eight team goals – 38%

Roberto Firmino – two goals of eight – 25% Mo Salah – two goals of eight – 25%

Salah is a wide man who prefers passing or cutting inside for a strike to crossing.

He is a potent dribber who drives at opponents.

He's also improved in the last three seasons, giving

up possession less.

This fits Liverpool's rapid, counter-pressing style.

When Liverpool win the ball back, they can attack with speed, a quick series of short

passes and direct running, and Salah's way of

attacking fits this perfectly, passing and moving into space, or cutting inside to create

an overlap out wide.

Salah's output for Liverpool this season compares well in terms of attacking output

with his last two league seasons at Roma, although

his key passes per 90 are down; this is likely because he has less of a supporting role at

Liverpool; all of the Reds' front three are

expected to weigh in with goals and attack directly, so key passes tend to come from

deeper- lying players such as Emre Can, or from the

full-backs.

Salah's driving style means he gets into the box regularly, assisted by Firmino's

ablity to drop off and that of right-backs like Trent Alexander-Arnold

or Nathanile Clyne to overlap and drag the opposition full-back wide.

This season, Salah has had 5.3 shots per 90, of which 0.4 shots per 90 are from outside

the penalty box.

Salah has also only created two chances this season, one of which was an assist;

Firmino has six, which is the most of any Liverpool player and shows how Salah's role

(and Mane's) is much more direct and less about

feeding the Brazilian striker than getting into the

box and shooting.

Before Leaving White House, Sean Spicer Gave Trump a Gift He Will Love Forever

In case y'all didn't know, this week was Sean Spicer's going away party at the White

House.

Sure, there were some tears and everyone misses him, but he left just like he entered: with

class.

Spicer's time as Press Secretary was brief but the media was brutal on him every second

he was there.

Not even that could stop Spicer from giving Trump a gift even a Billionaire President

will love…

Spicer thanked President Trump for giving him the biggest honor of his entire life!

In a final goodbye email to all his friends at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Spicer wrote:

"It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve the President and the American people

as the White House press secretary."

"I especially want to thank the President and the First Lady for their support during

my tenure and for giving me this opportunity.

Walking into the White House every day is a privilege that few in our country experience

and I am grateful for it."

What a beautiful sentiment from a great man who will be sorely missed.

He didn't just stop at the President, either.

Spicer took the time to thank all the people out there important to him and even sign off

with elegant words.

"I would not have been able to do my job without the amazing team the President has

assembled, especially the dedicated members of the communications, digital and press teams."

"I also am eternally grateful to the countless additional staffers who support the White

House daily — including the service members of White House Military Office, the Secret

Service, the Residence Staff, and so many other talented individuals."

"As I sign off this email address for a final time, I want to say thanks.

I am proud to have worked with each and every one of you."

Amen, Mr. Spicer.

America appreciates your years of service and wish you the best to come.

Help spread the well-wishes to all by Sharing this with all your friends

and fam.

Will the end of DACA prod Congress into immigration action? - Duration: 7:47.

JOHN YANG: But first: Congress returns to work this week facing a growing to-do list.

Among the new items, Hurricane Harvey relief and immigration.

To talk about this on Politics Monday, we're joined by Stuart Rothenberg, a longtime political

analyst who is senior editor of Inside Elections, and Amy Walter, national editor of The Cook

Political Report.

Stu, Amy, thanks for coming in on this Labor Day.

The president is reportedly ready to do something on DACA, the Deferred Action for Childhood

Arrivals.

The reports are that he's going to sunset in six months to give Congress time to do

something about it.

Stu, let me start with you.

What is at stake in this?

STUART ROTHENBERG, Inside Elections: There's a lot at stake for different people.

At stake for the president and his supporters who want to see action on immigration and

undocumented immigrants, for the Republican Party, which could easily be ripped apart

by this discussion, and most importantly, John, for the 800,000 undocumented immigrants

who think of the United States as their home.

They haven't known any other country, any other home.

The stakes are highest for them.

AMY WALTER, The Cook Political Report: Yes, I think Stu said it perfectly.

And the real question for Congress is, if there were an easy legislative solution, we

would have already been there.

This is something that has been going through Congress both during Democratic and Republican

administrations.

The divide in the Republican Party is fierce and it even cost one member of the House leadership

his seat.

Eric Cantor of course lost in 2014 after suggesting that maybe Republicans should do more on immigration

reform, deal with some of the dreamers and illegal immigration.

So this has the potential where it's politically popular.

You see the polling thing trying that the dreamers are a politically popular group of

people, but it's politically fraught at the same time.

The question now in my mind is what happens now that Congress, if this is true that finally

their feet are put to the fire, a lot like with the Affordable Care Act, where Republicans

had run for years and years and years saying, this is a terrible thing, we need to get rid

of it?

Now, once forced to deal with it, it was much more difficult, because parts of the bill

were popular.

The same may happen with this DREAM Act, where they have been talking about it for years,

we need to do something on illegal immigration, put a hard line down, and yet it's also a

pretty popular program.

JOHN YANG: And Congress not being able -- or having trouble with this issue is actually

how we got here in the first place, is because Congress couldn't do it, so President Obama

did it by executive action.

AMY WALTER: Right.

STUART ROTHENBERG: Right.

JOHN YANG: Stu, it is popular.

The polls show people like this program.

Is this going to be an easy lift or a heavy lift?

(LAUGHTER)

STUART ROTHENBERG: Really heavy, John.

You're right.

Public opinion seems to be on one side of this issue, but the president and his core

supporters seem to be on a different side of this.

Now, look, the president can always say, I'm not making a decision on the substance here,

there are constitutional issues, the executive wouldn't be able to do this.

I'm just kicking this over to Congress to make them make the decision, which is both

reasonable and untrue in some respects.

And that's this, that Donald Trump already has a history on immigration and the Arpaio

pardon, sanctuary cities, Muslim ban, Charlottesville.

The administration is already seen as not particularly tolerant and open to immigrants

and undocumented immigrants.

And so I think for him to say, well, it's a constitutional argument, I don't think that's

going to carry the day with many people.

He's going to be responsible for this policy if Congress cannot act.

JOHN YANG: And, Amy, this adds to a list of things that Congress is already facing.

They have now got Harvey relief.

They have got to deal with the first vote scheduled for Wednesday.

They have got to raise the debt ceiling.

They got to -- they'd like to pass a budget.

They have got to pass spending bills certainly by -- to fund the government.

And they have got a tax cut.

AMY WALTER: Right.

So it's the proactive and reactive part.

When -- the last time we talked before they went into recess, we thought that it was going

to be really just a couple of those things, debt ceiling and government funding, and then

to be proactive, to get a tax cut done.

That was really their top priority.

We can get these other things sort of out of their way.

But then Harvey and immigration on top of it makes the tax reform thing that much more

difficult.

When you talk to Republicans, their greatest fear coming into 2018 is that they end 2017

without substantive accomplishments and that they have to go to voters in 2018 with sort

of a laundry list of they have passed some bills, but nothing that is particularly substantive,

nothing that's really going to energize their base.

So having to deal with a whole bunch of stuff that they hadn't planned on doing on top of

stuff that is already fraught, that's going to be a challenge.

The one thing though that Republicans do want to do is look as if they are competent.

Get these little things out of the way that normally trip them up, like the debt ceiling.

And I don't mean little, but the things that they should be able to do easily, so that

they can get on to the more substantive stuff.

That was their number one concern.

(CROSSTALK)

STUART ROTHENBERG: One thing.

I agree with Amy completely.

I would just add one thing.

One thing that we have learned about this president is to expect the unexpected.

We are talking now as if in the next few months, we know the precise number of issues and what

those issues are.

The president has a habit of tweeting, I have noticed.

I don't know if you have noticed that.

He has a habit of tweeting, and creating controversies and issues.

So, on top of all this, on top of funding of the government and the debt ceiling and

DACA and tax reform, there may be two or three other things that develop because it hits

the president's fancy and creates new problems.

JOHN YANG: Well, and also one of the reactive things is North Korea.

How is that going to -- this is sort of looming over everything.

How is that likely to affect...

(CROSSTALK)

AMY WALTER: Right.

To Stu's point, the tweet about it is something that the members of Congress are going to

have to react to and the issue just in general.

But I do think this gets to the issue really of the president and how people view him temperamentally

and whether his temperament can meet the time.

Right?

The concern about North Korea now is we don't really know what's happening.

There is a whole bunch that we learned about this weekend that is very troubling, and whether

the president himself, his personality is one that a whole bunch of folks question whether

temperamentally he can do well by this issue.

It's so dangerous.

And every tweet carries added significance.

And so I think, as we're watching where the public goes and where Congress goes, it is

watching to see, again, if his temperament and his tone fits the time that we're in.

STUART ROTHENBERG: And I think that, because of this, there is not the usual rally-around-the-flag

effect that we normally see when there is a foreign policy crisis.

AMY WALTER: Yes.

STUART ROTHENBERG: It's not as if there are a whole bunch of Americans rooting for North

Korea.

No, that's not the case.

Americans are still rooting for the president, for Congress, for this country, of course.

But there isn't that natural sense that the president has the temperament, the experience,

the competence, the forthrightness that we expect from presidents and that get our loyalty

and our allegiance.

And so, the president still needs to earn American voters' trust.

And that's a problem at this point in the presidency.

JOHN YANG: Stu, we have got to leave it there.

Stu Rothenberg, Amy Walter, Politics Monday, thanks for joining us.

AMY WALTER: You're welcome.

STUART ROTHENBERG: Thank you.
