According to reports by the Daily Star, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has no intentions

of letting versatile midfielder Fabian Delph move to Besiktas for a year-long loan.

The Turkish giants wanted the Englishman to strengthen their squad, but Guardiola is set

to retain the player at Etihad.

Delph played a key role in City's title win last season, filling the void at left-back

after an injury to first-choice Benjamin Mendy.

The manager got the best out of him by making him play as an inverted full-back, where the

player acted more like a wide midfielder with defensive responsibilities.

Clearly, the 28-year-old has become a key part of the City squad and hence, Guardiola

has done the right thing by rejecting Besiktas' offer.

Here are more rationales as to why the Spaniard's choice is justifiable in the current scenario:

The word versatile is key for a player working under a demanding manager like Guardiola.

Delph has shown in the past that he can be utilized as a central midfielder, inverted

left-back and deep-lying playmaker.

And for a club like Manchester City, every game – be it a League Cup tie or Champions

League – is important as they must aim to win everything that's in front of them.

As a result, the manager would require proper squad depth, especially in the midfield and

left-back area.

Right now, City have one defensive midfielder and one left-back in their squad.

So, if Fernandinho needs rest, Delph could slot in as a Number 6 for certain games.

Kevin de Bruyne is injured at the moment, which means the Cityzens might need the 28-year-old

to fulfil one of the central midfield roles.

Furthermore, if Guardiola requires an inverted full-back to dominate the midfield further,

he could deploy Delph and rest Mendy.

It is evident that City need a versatile player like Delph, who was bought from Aston Villa

for £8m in 2015.

The fact that the 28-year-old can play several roles, often allows Guardiola to switch his

positions in between games and expect a positive output.

Hence, the gaffer is right to reject any bid from Besiktas.

What All Mass Shooters Have in Common - Duration: 8:02.

- The one most common denominator of recruits

for ISIS are boys and girls with minimal or no

father involvement and you know,

my goodness it's just so apparent.

The psychological savings and the fiscal savings

we would create if we had this focus

more on how do we get fathers more involved.

(lively music)

- Dr. Farrell, thanks for sitting down with us.

You have proposed what is both a radical and controversial

theory but also just like complete common sense to me

when it comes to figuring out why so many of our young

men are involved in mass shootings.

Tell me what your theory is.

- Well what I've looked at is the people who are

involved in mass shootings, particularly the more

complex ones like when eight or more people are killed,

26 out of the last 28 mass shootings where eight

or more people were killed, the boy who did the killing

was, had minimal or no father involvement,

almost always from a broken family.

Among the, so both the school shooters and the mass

shooters, they have this common denominator

of minimal amount of father involvement.

And then I looked at the ISIS recruits.

Studies of ISIS recruits, that the initial studies

didn't even ask the question about father involvement

but it was brought up by the boys so frequently

that the sociologists went back and asked the question

more systematically and found that not only the boys

who were doing the, being recruited for ISIS had a lack

of father involvement but also the girls who were recruited,

in much smaller numbers for ISIS had a lack of father

involvement and that the one most common denominator

of recruits for ISIS are boys and girls with minimal

or no father involvement and you know,

oh my goodness it's just so apparent.

The psychological savings and the fiscal savings

we would create if we had this focus more on how

do we get fathers more involved and what do they

contribute that we don't know about and so those

are so important.

- So the this apparently is controversial in some

corners and every time there's a tragedy, another tragedy

and another shooting, everybody sort of falls back

into their political corners and you know,

some people blame the NRA and some people, the NRA blames

Ritalin and some people blame violent video games

and violent TV programs but so few people are talking

about this phenomenon, that it's about fathers

and that there's a responsibility here

that civil society has to wrestle with solutions.

- Yes, our sons and our daughters, they have the exact

same family values, they have the exact same families,

they're exposed to the exact same violence on TV,

violence in the media, they have the same access

to the same guns and our daughters are not doing

the killings, our sons are and so what we need

to understand is that when a family is broken up,

our daughters suffer but our sons suffer more.

They suffer on a cellular level, they suffer

on a psychological level, they suffer on a depression level,

they suffer on a propensity toward suicide level.

They suffer at a level of dropping out of school

and when a boy drops out of high school that means

a 20 percent chance of being unemployed in his twenties.

When a boy has a 20 percent chance of being unemployed

in his twenties that means he has a very good chance

of having his testosterone channeled destructively,

rather than constructively and destructively

channeled testosterone is one of the world's

most dangerous forces.

Well channeled testosterone is one of the world's

most constructive forces.

- Last night during your lecture, you talked about

the tragic slide by which a young man who didn't get

that attention, didn't feel respected or listened to,

could lead to shooting up a school.

- Yes.

It goes like this.

When dads are involved, they tend to be much more

likely to set boundaries and enforce boundaries,

mostly enforce boundaries and they're able to do that

in part because they bond with the children,

they bond with the children by doing things like

rough housing so the children want more of dad

and the excitement with dad so as a result of that

excitement that they want more of, the dad can say,

you can't get to bed, you can't have any more

rough housing until you get all your chores done,

all your homework done, etc. and so the children

learn to focus on getting their chores done

and getting their homework done so they don't get ADHD

nearly as often because they learn to focus

on doing what they need to do in order to get

what they want to do, more of that rough housing.

When they do that, they get postponed gratification.

Postponed gratification is the single most important

ingredient to be successful and to be happy

with your achievement. So these boys that don't have

postponed gratification, and the girls too,

are less likely to be able to do their homework

and get it completed and then the boys start

feeling ashamed of themselves because they get

bad feedback from teachers, bad feedback from girls

and boys when it comes to boy, girl time.

Girls are not interested in dating losers so they don't

have that type of emotional, physical connection.

They get bad feedback from their parents,

they're not so proud of them.

They begin to withdraw, become depressed, become addicted

to video games or become addicted to porn,

they then try out real women and the real women

don't like a boy that's addicted to porn and so they

withdraw from them which only convinces them

to become more addicted to porn, and in worst case

scenarios they become suicidal or in other worse

case scenarios they become both suicidal and homicidal

and the homicidal being, I'm so angry that nobody

at school recognizes me, values me, I'm so invisible,

I will make myself visible, I'll show them and then

the anger is returned through the shootings.

- So quickly and this would be a subject if you really

want the answer to this question people are gonna

have to pick up your book, The Boy Crisis,

but what are some of the solutions,

how do we fix this problem?

We've identified it, it is fundamental, how do we fix it?

- We have to know what fathers contribute that

is different from what moms contribute,

what I call dad-style parenting that has

to be added to mom-style parenting.

We have to teach both moms and dads how to communicate

about the value of their style parenting

in order to be able to adjust it to any situation

that the children are going through.

We have to be able to get dads to study what they do

that is good so that they can explain it moms.

We can't blame moms.

Moms can't hear what dads don't say.

Moms are doing their hard work in

the way that they know how to do it.

Men have to take the lead, speak up

and have the courage to speak up.

Men can't back off with knowing that a happy life

is a happy wife, you have to be willing to have

an unhappy life for awhile because your devotion

is to your children's needs, not to your personal happiness.

Have Miami teachers earned a raise? - Duration: 2:25.

since passing a teacher merit pay law in 2011 Florida Governor Rick Scott and a

republican-controlled legislature have refused to give teachers a raise that

law also eliminated the step schedule which severely hurt mid to late career

teachers so far this year teachers in six states have gone on strike the

Florida law prohibits teachers from striking that's why this school year

Florida classrooms are missing more than 4,000 teachers nowhere is this critical

shortfall more apparent than in Miami where teachers can't even afford to buy

a house in their own community the district ranks 47th nationally in

teacher affordability and a teacher with ten years experience could spend two

thirds of her salary on a two-bedroom that's why the miami-dade County public

school board unanimously approved wording for referendum on the November

ballot to give all instructional personnel a raise the measure sailed

through the Miami Commission unanimously it asked voters to raise property taxes

by 75 cents per 1,000 dollars of taxable value would cost the average home owner

less than a hundred and forty two dollars and it is projected to bring in

about a billion dollars exclusively for miami-dade over the next four years

superintendent of built of kvo recommended allocating ninety percent of

the new funding for teacher salaries and ten percent for school security he said

that would allow the district to give some teachers up to a 20 percent raise

although decisions about the size of the raises which teachers would get them

would be determined during salary negotiations with the teachers union the

rest of the money will go towards hiring armed personnel to comply with the

Legislature's hardening of schools mandate after four years miami-dade

voters will get the chance to renew the bond other Florida districts have

successfully passed similar measures including Pinellas County which has

renewed their bond four times since first passing it 16 years ago in his

remarks the superintendent noted the district received its first ever a

rating from the state do e quote there's no better time than now to ask this

question this November's ballot will be an historically long one so make sure to

The Build-a-Bear Test: How to tell if you have a Double-Standard for Religion - Duration: 4:39.

Imagine for a moment there's a quaint little Build a Bear in a remote idyllic village.

Imagine that just one of their employees hid cameras in teddy bears sold by the store and

filmed small children with it.

Imagine the mass-outrage that would follow.

Now imagine if thousands of employees were doing it, and the company covered it up.

They would be sued and bankrupt in a fortnight.

But imagine if instead of just filming small children, they were beating, molesting, and

even raping them.

Imagine if the company called the victims liars and threatened them if they told anyone…

and in the cases that were reported, the cops and judges sided with the abusers.

As the scandal grew, imagine that Build a Bear paid billions of dollars in settlements

to silence the victims from speaking out, and to avoid scandal, while keeping the offending

employees on the books – shuffling them from store to store, and sometimes if the

offenses became too public, moved them to foreign countries, placing them in positions

of authority over powerless communities.

Imagine they were put in charge of orphanages where they continued to rape and abuse the

most vulnerable of our children with impunity.

And imagine this going on for decade after decade after decade.

All over the globe

Imagine corrupt company officials feigning regret and remorse, promising swift action

and reform while hiding the names of abusers and protecting the rapists.

Refusing to release documents, and lobbying to protect their own.

Allowing it to happen again and again and again.

Now as this nightmare intensifies, imagine that you're a customer.

Would you continue to give them your money?

Would you continue to recommend this megalithic monster bringing family and friends into their store.

Would you continue to let their employees near your precious children?

Lastly, imagine that the company officials had the bold-faced gall to claim status as

mankind's sole moral authority - to be the voice of god on earth.

The audacity!

What if I told you the worst part of this hell-on-earth scenario is that you don't

have to imagine it.

Because outside your mental theater this hush-job of perpetual savagery

has become an ecclesiastical pandemic

turning the Catholic Church into a pedophile's paradise.

Enough is enough.

Dr Joe Dispenza - Why You Have No Energy To Create Your New Life - Duration: 2:54.

I've been doing some study with dr. Joe Dispenza at the moment I'm doing one of

his pre courses to so that I can go to an event of his but I wanted to share with

you something that kind of blew my mind it was a massive light bulb moment I

think you'll find it really interesting and helpful and maybe able to put some

things into perspective for you and help you just change a few habits so that you

actually get the results in creating the new future that you want so let me share

with you a little exercise and I'm watching at the moment 'cause it's super

powerful so now this says where you place your attention is where you place

your energy so then this is the outer world of physical reality this is your

inner world of thoughts and feelings are you with me still? Yes. So you wake up in the

morning and you reach for that cell phone and you check your texts your

your what's up

you got to check your Facebook

(music)

there's your pets almost left them out now here's my question if where you

place your attention is where you place your energy how much energy do you have

for your inner world of thoughts and feelings to create a different outer

world? ... is aroused as you shift your attention from one thing to one place

the one person to one particular time as you do that you're activating those

different neurological networks in your brain yes or no? yes! And like a lightning

storm all of a sudden they're firing very incoherently and when your brain

is incoherent you're incoherent because you're shifting your attention very

quickly from one to the next and the brain is becoming very disintegrated

very compartmentalized how many people are with me? yes! so that got me thinking

about what had happened in my day this morning in that I got up going I am

gonna do a meditation but then I got sidetracked by all this other stuff in

my life like the kids and then Oh what am I gonna have for breakfast oh I

better check my facebook oh I better turn my computer on and all these other

things and I thought oh my gosh I've not had time now to do my meditation to set

my world to honor and observe those inner feelings so that I can change them

to what I want them to be

I HAVE SLEEP PARALYSIS [REAL-LIFE ENGLISH #13] - Duration: 8:36.

My name is Rodger Koller

and this video is going to be very quick

This is part of a series of videos named:

"Real-Life English" in which I just start talking

at random about any topic

without having written any script beforehand

Well, again, it's exactly...Let me see here

It's 2:45 a.m. It's exactly 2:45 a.m.

adn I can't sleep

again

so again, I've decided to come outside

and walk in the park here

There's this nice park here, next to my house

and for some strange reason it is open 24/7

This park never closes. So, I couldn't sleep and

I couldn't even stay in my bedroom because I was trying to sleep

and then I felt bad about it, so

I decided to come outside to walk a little bit

I've just noticed that

the video is going to get too dark

and shaky

because it's too dark here

So, when I get home and I edit the video

I'm going to put something else for you to see

like a gameplay or something like that

I'm not going to work in the morning, so

I want to use some energy out here...

Maybe I'll feel sleepy when I get home

I know, my girlfriend is going to hate it when she sees this video

she doesn't like me to come outside after midnight

Yeah, she thinks I'm a Gremlin

I can anticipate that after seeing this video

She is going to call me and

She'll say something like:

"Rodger, you can't sleep because instead of closing your eyes...

...and trying to sleep, you keep working...

...and when you're not working, you're making videos and stuff like that...

...You should just close your eyes and try to sleep"

and she'll also say something like:

"It's not easy and simple...

"you just need to turn out the light and turn off all your devices...

and in the dark, close your eyes and do that breathing technique that I've taught you"

Yeah, she's taught me a breathing technique

My sweet girlfriend has taught me a very pleasant breathing technique

and this technique really helps me a lot

when I'm stressed out, I do this technique that she has taught me

and I feel much better. This is true.

However, it doesn't necessarily help me when I can't sleep

I tried to do what she had told me to do

I remained with my eyes closed from midnight up to 2 A.M.

I must say that even without being able to sleep, I feel much better

just by the fact that my eyes were closed, I feel rested

but I am still tired at the same time. It's really weird

I've got to admit that I've got some sleeping disorders

LOOK

The last time I slept was from Sunday to Monday

Now it is 2:50 a.m. on a Wednesday

and I'm here, walking in the park

so this is the third entire day in a row

that I haven't slept

my eyes are red

but it's funny because when I get this long without sleeping, I start seeing things

Like...I close my eyes and I see butterflies and rainbows

Stop it! Get some help!

Perhaps I'm getting crazy

I see other things as well, but maybe I'll make another video to tell you what I see

I'm not ready to talk about these things yet, otherwise you'll actually think I'm insane

and I'm not insane

yet

Today I want to talk to you about something that has been part of my life since I was a little boy

a specific thing related to my sleeping disorders

as you may have noticed, I have insomnia

"oh! really?"

but that's not the main problem. That's not my main problem

I also have sleep paralysis

I'm not going to tell you the specific explanation of what it is because

it's too complicated. I don't understand what that is

but in a nutshell. Sleep Paralysis is when a person suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night

but this person can't move anything

So, in my situation... I'm sleeping

then in the middle of the night I open my eyes. However, I can't move my body

I can only move my eyes

It's crazy. So, I'm sleeping...I wake up

and I can only move my eyes

I can't move my hands, I can't move my body whatsoever

I can't speak but I can make some sounds

like...I can use my vocal chords

but I can't move my lips in order to make words

and sometimes it takes me from 5 minutes to three hours

like that

and then Ican finally move my body, but there have been times

especially when I was younger

that I remember being at this state for around 3 hours

when I was a kid I used to be afraid of that

I used to get really scared every time it happened to me

but it was so usual that I started learning some techinique in order to

to spend my time while I was paralysed

while I'm awake, with my eyes open but paralysed

my brain is half way in what I call "dream land"

so I can see things that can only be from my dreams

right there in my bedroom

or flying around above my bed...People...

animals....colours

and other strange things

weird stuff

so I've learnt how to control these things

I can control these images, these crazy things

while I am at that state as I wait for this paralysis to pass

Nevertheless

The last five times that it happened to me

I didn't see anything in my bedroom with me

I was alone

and my bedroom was empty

I've read some things about sleep paralysis and it's nothing really serious

It's not going to hurt me

it's just some thing that happens to some people

If it has ever happened to you

I recommend that you keep calm

and wait, the more you fight against that

the longer you will be in this situation, so

So, when it happens to me now, I just remain calm

and in two or three minutes I'm back to normal

and about my insomnia

if you have any suggestions on what I should do

please leave a comment in the comment section

and give me your advice

I'll really appreciate that

Yes, I think i should go back home

I don't even know why I came out here to the park

it doesn't make sense

it's really cold tonight and

so, I'll just walk back to my house now

Thank you for listening to me. You're my true friends. I am very happy to have you because every time

I feel that I need to talk to somebody, I know that I can just

turn my camera on and start talking

I can turn my voice recorder on and I can start talking

and I know that some people will listen to me and

These people will give me advice and stuff

So, thank you very much for being my friends

Hillary Clinton Shows The Class That Trump Will Never Have As She Remembers John McCain - Duration: 2:19.

Hitting up everyday and working

as hard as he did for the people

of Arizona and for the values

that he cherished was not easy.

You are right I did travel with

you.

He could not comb his own hair

because of the war injury he had

sustained.

He could not lift his arm above

the shoulder level.

We used to laugh because when we

would do TV together for

sometimes "Meet the press."

Oh, we got a clip later for you.

Don't worry.

>> He'll say well, if my hair is

sticking up, I have so much

wonderful personal memories of

him as well as public ones.

>> It was interesting the way he

conducted himself in the senate,

he almost would go out of his

way to find the Democrat that

you would think is least likely

to work with the Republicans and

try to forge a bond with them,

before you is Ted Kennedy.

It almost became a legendary the

way he would try to reach out.

>> Well, that's because he did

believe in the institution and

he knows.

He knew that the senate could

not work if we did not work

together.

I think it was heartbreaking to

him that as he said in the

speech she gave right before she

voted against repealing against

the affordable act that we need

to cooperate and learn how to

trust each other again and do

better to serve the people who

elected us.

He was so typically John in

those remarks.

He said stop listening to the

bombastic loud mouths on TV and

on the internet.

The ?N hell with them.

He understood the marrow of his

bones and what it meant to be an

American and how important it

was for us to just toagree and

differ.

At the end of the day to work

together and trust each other

and get things done, he'll be

missed for many, many reasons

but I think that example that he

sets of working across the isle

John McCain Children: How Many Kids Did He Have? | Heavy.com - Duration: 7:35.

John McCain Children: How Many Kids Did He Have? | Heavy.com

Cindy McCain, wife of Republican presidential nominee, stands on stage with family members during the Republican National Convention 2008 at the Xcel Energy Center in St.

Paul, Minnesota, on September 04, 2008.

From L-R: Andrew, Meghan, Jimmy, Cindy, Jack, Doug, Bridget and Sydney.

After a long battle with brain cancer, Senator John McCain lost his life, leaving behind a family of seven grown children, along with five grandchildren, and his wife, Cindy.

In addition to having children with Cindy, John McCain also had kids from his first marriage, to Carol Shepp.

When talking about what his kids mean to him, to Dad Mag, McCain said that, "I had three children by a previous marriage.

My first wife had two children from a previous marriage and I adopted them.

We had a child together, a girl.

The two boys are married and have children.

We're all very close.

We get together once a year at least." Fortunately, when McCain passed away, he was surrounded by the family he loved.

Andrew McCain and his brother Doug were adopted by John McCain, when he married his first wife, according to ABC News.

John and Carol later welcomed their daughter, Sidney.

Prior to marrying John, Carol Shepp was married to a man named Alasdair E.

Swanson, who was actually a classmate of John McCain's.

Swanson is the biological father of Andrew and Doug.

In 1980, John McCain divorced Shepp and went on to get married to second wife, Cindy, that same year.

Together, John and Cindy had three children – Meghan, Jack (John Sidney McCain IV) and Jimmy.

They also adopted a little girl named Bridget, from Bangladesh.

Andrew McCain said that McCain's divorce was difficult for himself, along with his two siblings, at the time.

Because of this, none of John's children attended his wedding to Cindy, according to KREM2.

During McCain's marriage to Shepp, he was a bomber pilot in the Vietnam War, who was shot down over Vietnam on October 26, 1967, as reported by KREM2.

McCain was captured and kept from his family for close to six years.

Daughter Sidney revealed to The NY Times that when her dad was finally reunited with his family, "I remember my dad just squeezing me and not wanting to let me go.

It was very overwhelming at the time.".

Today, many of the McCain children have found success in family, as well as their careers.

Andrew McCain went on to get into the business of his step-mother, Cindy, as he now serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer for Hensley Beverage Company.

Cindy McCain was the daughter of Jim Hensley, the original head of Hensley & Co.

According to Andrew McCain's https://business.vanderbilt.edu/board-bio/andy-mccain/” target="_blank">Vanderbilt University's bio, Hensley & Co.

is one of the largest, privately-held companies in Arizona.

Many may be familiar with the company because of its Anheuser-Busch products.

Meghan McCain went on to become one of the faces of daytime talk show The View and has often spoken about her father, along with her own political views, on the show.

Upon her father's death, Meghan released the following words on Twitter, "I love you forever – my beloved father @SenJohnMcCain." Read her Twitter post below for her full message.

Some of John McCain's children are a bit more private and John reportedly likes to keep it that way as much as possible.

In 2007, eldest son, Doug, told The New York Times that, "I think he'd prefer the family kind of stayed private.

I just think he is a big believer in individuals doing their own thing." But, while John would be traveling for work, his wife, Cindy, was often the disciplinarian, as Jack reportedly stated that, "My mother was the one doing the heavy lifting of child rearing," according to KREM2.

The kids reportedly were allowed to watch television on the weekends and only received an allowance after each of their chore chart were complete.

Son Jack said that his father always pushed education in the household.

In addition, "He was having us live very much the same way he lived himself.

So, fierce self-reliance, fierce independence, the appreciation for nature, an appreciation for the poetry life.".
