ESPN reported that the Pelicans have answered calls from the Lakers but that Pelicans owner Gayle Benson, who also owns the Saints, has a small-market chip on her shoulder and is reluctant to send Davis to the big-market, deep-pocketed Lakers

The plot thickens, and the stakes increase each day, leaving the Pelicans to navigate an unwelcome but not unexpected scenario

The Pelicans in a statement said they will "do this on our terms and our timeline — one that makes the most sense for our team and it will not be dictated by those outside of our organization

"Bright lines have been drawn.If Davis is indeed determined to get to the Lakers at all costs — even if that means playing for another team next season — it decreases his trade value with other teams

Why would a team give up significant assets if it knows Davis is headed to the Lakers at some point?Perhaps a team that is close to winning a championship might take the gamble

Maybe a team will take a chance — like Oklahoma City did when it acquired Paul George and Toronto did when it acquired Kawhi Leonard — and convince Davis there is another team for him

George ended up signing a long-term deal with the Thunder, and we will see what Leonard does this summer when he is a free agent

USA TODAY Boston is mentioned as a possible destination, but complications and issues make that tricky

That rule allows teams to pay a player coming off his rookie deal a larger percentage of the salary cap, and Celtics guard Kyrie Irving was signed under the rule and was acquired via trade

The Celtics can't trade for Davis now (unless they deal Irving first) and will have to wait until July 1 when Irving's contract is up to get in on the Davis sweepstakes

The Celtics also have the players and future draft picks to make New Orleans an attractive offer

However, there is growing concern — mentioned by opposing executives — that Irving may not re-sign with the Celtics even though he said in the preseason he plans to be back in Boston

Irving is frustrated with younger players on the team — he apologized for calling them out after a recent game — and he acknowledged he called LeBron to apologize for not understanding his leadership early in their Cleveland days

There might also be hesitancy on Boston's end to give Irving a max contract given his knee injury history

Irving got in front of the story by saying he wants to be back. If he and the Celtics can't agree on terms, he can pin blame of Boston, which has not lived up to expectations this season

Celtics president Danny Ainge told WBZ-FM radio station that he is optimistic Irving will return

It's a fascinating maze of plots and subplots.And it pits two of the league's flagship franchises — the Celtics and their 17 titles and the Lakers and their 16 titles — in another compelling showdown with small-market New Orleans trying to figure out what to do

Liverpool's front three have their mojo back. Not that their mojo ever really went away, of course, but all three of Liverpool's forwards have been questioned at times this season

Sadio Mane enjoyed a devastating start to the campaign, scoring four times in the first four games before finding the net in just one of his next 10 appearances for the Reds

Roberto Firmino had similar struggles, scoring just four goals in the first half of the campaign

Things were slightly different for Mohamed Salah, who still managed to score 12 times during the first half of the season, but still had to put up with scrutiny over his performances

Since Boxing Day, however, the trio have had a change of fortunes. Salah and Firmino have both scored five in six, with Mane netting three times in the same number of games

It's a huge boost for Jurgen Klopp's title-chasing side, who have solidified their position as Premier League leaders in that period, despite losing at Manchester City

The Reds have shown signs of reverting back to their devastating attacking best from last season, scoring four against Newcastle and Crystal Palace, as well as putting five past Arsenal

Klopp will be delighted with his front three - but the Liverpool boss is facing up to another problem

In fact, only Divock Origi has joined Salah, Firmino and Mane on the scoresheet since the win over Newcastle

The goals have dried up for both James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri, the latter being a huge plus for the Reds in the first half of the campaign

Shaqiri added another dimension to Liverpool's attack, scoring six goals and giving Klopp's men another outlet

In fact, Klopp even changed his formation to include Shaqiri and make Salah the focal point of the attack

Milner, meanwhile, hasn't added to the five goals he scored and the likes of Fabinho, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip and Gini Wijnaldum have all weighed in with just one goal each so far

Another concern will be the form of Daniel Sturridge, who started the season well but hasn't added to his tally since scoring his fourth goal of the season with a screamer at Chelsea

The lack of goals from Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, Andy Robertson and even Adam Lallana is also something Klopp will want to rectify as Liverpool continue their title push

Contrast that with Liverpool's title challenge in 2013/14, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge fueled the charge with 31 and 21 goals respectively, but Steven Gerrard also found the net 13 times, Raheem Sterling nine, centre-back Martin Skrtel chipped in with seven, Philippe Coutinho notched five and Henderson, in a more advanced role, scored four times

It's crucial that Liverpool find more goals from the rest of the team between now and the end of the season - but it's certainly no bad thing that the front three are on song once again

Hello internet, I'm NickzJSA and welcome back to my another capsule opening video.

Yea, it's been a while I haven't uploaded any capsule-related video from CrossFire Indonesia Next Generation.

This time I make another one, and also I will open the 2014 Chinese New Year Set capsule

that I've got from the latest event in CrossFire Indonesia Next Generation.

Maybe for those of you who didn't what's inside the capsule

there are two weapons on the capsule.

One of them is my long time wishlist --

because during the capsule initial release I'm currently on hiatus,

so I can't open that capsule --

which is the AK-47-Knife-Furious Dragon (or Royal Dragon 3),

and also Furious Dragon-Fist or Gloves-Furious Dragon (or Royal Dragon 3).

But before I open the capsules, I have some... um... quite a lot of leftover clips,

because I ran out of editing time.

Maybe I will merge it with this video as a...

...somekind of compilation or montage of my leftover capsule opening clips.

Actually I got lots of weapons from the capsules,

but most of them are duplicates. So I decided not to upload it.

Rather than a waste, maybe I will just play my old unseen clips.

In these clips I didn't add my voiceover,

because I'm too lazy to edit it even further.

So I will just add some musics along with my clips when I opened those capsules.

Okay, so you have seen a lot of duplicates that I've won.

But there are also some new weapons...

Actually, my 9A-91-Ultimate Goldsmith that I've won isn't "duplicate"

because it was my first time to won that weapon via the capsule.

But I could say it is a duplicate because I got that weapon from the

CFS 2018 Indonesia National Final redeem codes.

And from that clip I also won M4A1-Silencer-Peony,

it is a new weapon for my inventory.

But because I ran out of editing time, I just merge it with this video

without my commentary voiceover.

So at least, you already know why my capsule inventory has a lots of unused items.

Finally, my Furious Dragon set is complete in CrossFire Indonesia Next Generation.

Even though I spent years to complete it.

It's okay... at least I finally got it.

I wonder why it wasn't on the golden ball. I wonder...

It has a similar glitch to the Kukri-Beast-Noble Gold from the old Golden Noble Set.

Maybe as far as I remember, the AK-47-Knife-Furious Dragon also belongs to the rare item.

So it was supposed to be on the golden ball.

But somehow it glitches like so.

So it might also explains why I didn't get the AK-47-Knife-Furious Dragon twice during the lucky bar.

Well okay... it's allright. At least my Furious Dragon collection is complete.

And my job to bring you my leftover clips is done

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kane — Salah's golden boot rivals — also have to be included

Aubameyang has been prolific in an Arsenal team who have struggled for creativity while Kane remains Spurs' most important player

His goals have been worth six points to Spurs — more than any player — and his late strikes against PSV salvaged their Champions League campaign

At Manchester City, Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva have all enjoyed excellent seasons but I would argue that David Silva should be on the shortlist

Now 33 and without Kevin De Bruyne alongside him for most of the campaign, he has been the heartbeat of Pep Guardiola's side

Chelsea may have blown hot and cold, but you cannot discount Eden Hazard. He is our league's most naturally talented player and is in double figures for goals and assists

A dog from Virginia is not letting anything get in the way of his happiness — not even half a spine! Meet Cooper: the two-year-old American foxhound who lives with a rare condition called short spine syndrome

Caused by inbreeding, Cooper's vertebrae are fused together and compressed — leading him to have half the body that a normal dog would

Despite his deformity, that hasn't stopped Cooper from being the "happiest dog," his owners Elly and Andy Keegan told Fox

"Many dogs with conditions like Cooper's are euthanized which makes me so, so sad," Elly said to the outlet

"They have so much living to do and Cooper is a real example of that. He has a happy, normal little life now and is a key member of our family

" Cooper's story began in summer 2017, when animal control officers rescued him near a suspected puppy mill in Halifax, Virginia, Fox said

At the time, Cooper was only two-months-old. Officers believe that he was abandoned because of the birth defect

A shelter in Minnetonka, Minnesota, called Secondhand Hounds, eventually took Cooper in and treated the pup for ear mites, worms, and a hernia, until his lovable demeanor caught the attention of Elly and her husband, according to Fox

"He's such a friendly dog," Elly, 32, said to the outlet. "His condition is caused by inbreeding and it is unconscionable to me that he was just thrown away when the breeders realized he wouldn't make them money

" Cooper's short "corkscrewed" spine makes him appear to have no neck and a short body

In order to look behind him, he has to turn his entire body around, according to Fox

Elly Keegan / SWNS Elly also explained to the outlet that Cooper's spine is fused on his neck and his bottom, which made going to the bathroom rather difficult for the little pooch

He eventually underwent surgery to assist with his bowel functions so he's now able to go by himself

"It's hard because he can't go for long walks and can't spend a lot of time on hard surfaces," she told Fox

"He has to be on soft ground like grass or carpet." Despite having a relatively normal dog life, Elly said Cooper has still experienced some scary complications from his deformity

He suffered a severe fracture to his neck in five different spots after he fell and, recently, was diagnosed with a bone infection called osteomyelitis

"Because his spine is so compromised, it was dangerous but luckily we got it under control with antibiotics," Elly told Fox of the infection, adding that Cooper has since made a recovery from both incidents

And now Cooper can certainly keep up with his doggy siblings including Elly and Andy's three other pups, Skylar, 13, Waylon, 3, and Tuva, 4

He is also being considered as a candidate for a Purdue University study of short-spined dogs

"Wherever he goes he draws attention but he really revels in it," Elly told Fox , adding that Cooper is a social media star

"He has a lot of fans on Facebook," she said. Secondhand Hounds specializes in rescuing at-risk dogs and cats and commit to caring for the animals through adoption, rehabilitation, and hospice care, according to their website

Since their establishment in 2009, they have saved over 16,000 dogs and cats to help them find a fur-ever home

As of 2016, there were just 17 dogs on Earth known to have short spine syndrome

Currently, there are less than 30 dogs in the world that are living with the rare condition, and two of them were cared for by Secondhand Hounds, the shelter's executive director Rachel Mairose said

"Cooper is a true example of why we do what we do!" Mairose told PEOPLE. "At Secondhand Hounds we love the underdog, the broken, the tossed aside

We find that these are the animals the ones who give back the most with their trust and their enthusiasm for life

Intense rainstorms that caused flooding and at least one death in Southern California over the weekend are expected to diminish Sunday, with mild precipitation lingering into Tuesday.

The worst has already happened, said Kristen Stewart, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Oxnard.

A weaker storm system bringing light rain will move across Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties until early in the week, according to the weather service. The storm is also expected to dump rain and up to 16 inches of snow in mountainous areas, which could impact the stretch of Interstate 5 known as the Grapevine.

Gusty winds moving south to southwest at up to 45 mph will continue through Tuesday night, according to the NWS, which has issued a winter storm warning for the area.

People should still be on the lookout for flooding and avoid driving through any road that appears submerged, no matter how shallow, said National Weather Service meteorologist Keily Delerme. She noted that a vehicle can be swept away in just 12 inches of water.

An earlier storm this weekend moved into Santa Barbara County on Saturday with intense bursts of rain and wind that topped 80 mph. Though the storm tapered off in the evening, it picked up again early Sunday, with wind gusts of up to 60 mph and overnight rainfall totals of up to 3 inches.

Highway 101, which was closed in both directions in Montecito on Saturday morning because of mudflows, was reopened to traffic Saturday night, Caltrans officials said.

A 17 mile stretch of Pacific Coast Highway in the Malibu area remains closed in both directions from Las Posas Road to Trancas Canyon Road Sunday because of a mudslide that covered a portion of the northbound lanes, officials said. No homes were affected, and road crews were busy clearing the mud, which in some areas was up to 3 feet deep.

Lauren Wonder, a spokeswoman for Caltrans, said on Sunday her agency has not set a time for the reopening of PCH. She said its possible the highway will remain closed through the end of the storm on Tuesday or Wednesday, because of rains and the potential for mudslides.

Early Saturday, a Ventura County sheriffs search and rescue team member was killed and three other team members were injured in a crash on rain slicked Interstate 5 near Gorman in northern Los Angeles County, officials said. The group was on its way to Mt. Pinos for a training exercise when they saw a crash on the freeway and stopped to help.

While they were assisting people, a vehicle plowed into the scene, Ventura County Sheriffs Sgt. Eric Buschow said. They stopped to help people because thats what they do. This is another tough day for us.

At least six other people were hurt and taken to hospitals.

The victim, Jeff Dye, was a volunteer with the Fillmore Mountain Search and Rescue Team, the Sheriffs Department said.

In Malibu on Saturday afternoon, Caltrans crews worked to clear the highway of mud up to 3 feet deep south of County Line Beach. A RV camper parked along the side of PCH became submerged in mud and surrounded by tree branches.

Ventura County Fire Capt. Joe Dullam said the highway was also covered in two spots near Deer Creek Road that have been problematic in recent storms, including one area where several vehicles became stuck in early January.

This is pretty much what we expected, Dullam said.

Don Burpee said its not the first time the neighborhood has seen mud wash down from the nearby hillside that burned in the Woolsey fire. But Saturdays mudslide was the largest, the Malibu resident said.

Sure, you worry about it. You do what you can, Burpee said. But there is kind of a limit to what you can do.
