Youtube daily can't pay Feb 3 2019

- Angel's also asked, is there any way to detect knock on the dyno graph?

OK this is another really big area of confusion in the industry.

We find that a lot of tuners believe that we don't need knock detection and we

can simply use the dyno to help us tune because when the engine

suffers from knock, we're going to see the torque drop away.

Now there is some truth in this.

When the engine is knocking we will see the torque output drop.

But the problem we see is that 99% of times in my experience,

we're gonna find that an engine will start knocking on maybe one or two

cylinders initially.

So what we can find in this situation is we'll have one or two cylinders

beginning to suffer from light detonation, but the overall torque of the engine

improves or increases as we advance the timing.

So this is why I don't rely on the dyno to help me define whether or not

my engine is knocking, I always rely on audio knock detection.

I'm physically listening to the engine so I know that it is knocking,

or if it is knocking.

That is when he discovers the head

I asked the sergeant major could I have his job.

And so the sergeant major laughed,

and he had been briefed about me.

And so he said,

"You probably couldn't figure out the job."

And so I said, "Well, give me a chance."

And so he said, "Well, okay type this."

I typed it, and I corrected some errors in it,

and I handed it back to him, and

so I convinced him that I could do the job.

Hello pokemon trainers and welcome to another episode of mini PokeMart in today's episode

We're going to be opening the Jolteon GX special collection box. This is one of the three boxes that just came out from

the Pokemon company

this features all three of the original

eeveelutions

And this one personally is my favorite. I love Jolteon

I've always loved Jolteon

So I will be enjoying a lot opening this one if you haven't checked out we did open vaporeon GX yesterday

So if you like Vaporeon I'll have a link in the description

Be sure to check that one out

Please remember as I said just in the Vaporeon opening all the three boxes that that came out have a

Different Eevee GX card, so the art is different

Of course

the the attacks are the same but the card is different making it a very very valuable collectible item also

The cards have been proven to work in tournaments as well

All three of them have won tournaments in Japan remember that in Japan

The cards become official for tournament the day they came out

Unfortunately in the US we need to wait at the wait at least three weeks. Mm-hmm. Now this box comes with a big

promo or

foil card

just collectible or you can use it for decorations and also comes with 2 GX cards and

5 booster packs, so

Let's go ahead and open this as always we have our little Eevee and the sleeping Pikachu

The best of all the metapod there to give us luck in our pools. Let's go ahead and open this box

Again, it's a big box. So I apologize

It will not fit very well in the camera and I hate opening this boxes because they look so so cool

but we care a lot of what is inside so

There we go

Put the picture of the vaporeon one next to it once we

What is a basic income and how can it work? - Duration: 12:31.

Jay: This time we're going to talk about a universal basic income and some of you

might be thinking what the heck is that? Jane: A universal basic income is an income

paid to individuals as a right of legal residence without means testing or

requirements to work. The payment is non-taxable and should be sufficient to

cover basic needs. Everyone who qualifies for the payment will

receive it from birth till death. Having a basic income in place will provide a

secure floor for people to build on rather than a safety net with holes so

big many fall through. Jay: That's true. Welfare state, that system for example, loads of people fall

through that. It's almost set-up for people to fail. So my old-school point of

view was, I was one of those people that used to, as you know too well, would stand

and stay in line and queue for the check out with a person working at it, because I

saw the self-checkout stuff as, you know, taking away somebody's job. So I'd

be like: well you don't want to be taking away somebody's job because, you know, so I'll

stand in line and the longer queue and wait to be served even rather than use

the self-checkout that's right there; which obviously seems counter-intuitive.

And we spoke to that guy once in one of the supermarkets who was like, oh

well I'm like, it will take your job away and he was like well I'm a photographer

actually, I don't really want this crummy job, and I can't just quit the job 'cause I'll not get

any social security. So I'm stuck in this lousy job, this BS job, that I don't even

like. That was his view, he was like I'd rather be doing something else. So it was

like, actually we're keeping people in jobs that computers can take just for the

sake of that, as almost like we're creating work, you know, work supposed to

be a means to an end, not the end itself, isn't it? So that made me realise, not

just that guy, but a few other pieces of information out there about automation is

actually a part of progress. That if a computer can take your job you

probably shouldn't necessarily be doing the job in the first place. Jane: Yeah, exactly, yeah. So that's one of the biggest reasons I think for a basic income,

is the level of technological development and the fact that we have

enough kind of technological change to take a lot of the jobs but we

have to change the way that society and the economy's structured so that isn't

damaging and people have got no money. So this is a way that we can actually

address that: a basic income. Other reasons for a basic income include

the benefits of reducing working hours and sharing jobs that are left that need

to be done, that can't be done by robots, amongst everybody else. There's a

report that's just come out today, well on Friday, I don't know it depends if you're

a Patreon member if you get this on Friday, this video, which is by Autonomy.

Which is basically arguing for a shorter working week, it shows about how the,

how that basically could result in benefits for people's mental health and especially,

well as long as it's, you get the same amount of money. You couldn't like have a

shorter working week and people aren't paid as much, that obviously wouldn't

result in these benefits. Jay: Yeah, they're skint enough as it is at the moment. Jane: Exactly. And that's the key thing about basic

income, it obviously would supplement income that would be lost from not working

as much. And then obviously there's the benefit of environmental sustainability

of reducing jobs, especially bullshit jobs and managerial feudalism having all

these people working underneath you and they don't need to. Jay: I have a secretary.

Jane: Yes. Jay: I don't Jane: I'm important!

And then obviously productive workforce as well, because if you work less you're

probably gonna be more enthused to get your stuff done. More free time as well,

which also relates to the benefits of being able to be creative, which is an

advantage of basic income. As Jay said, somebody wanted to be a photographer and

we've all got creativity in us, it's just often not economically viable to do

it as a job. And then also other things, good reasons for basic income: better

working rights. So basically if, you know, trade unionism has been attacked and

especially since Thatcher onwards; she saw it as a political thing that was all

about supply economics making it, supply-side economics, making it easier

to attack the workforce and make more money for the 1%. So if you had a basic income

you would be less scared of being sacked and which would increase the power of

collective bargaining. There's also, so trade unions should be getting behind

this as well because it actually would benefit them. Jay: Some of them are, I think Unison are aren't they. So like my dad always used to tell me that story

where, well he'd be like, well I used to leave work, leave a job, quit my job on

the Friday and by Monday I just walk into another job because we all

had power because there were that many jobs available. It turned the tables and

workers, this was post-war, the people had options. Well you'd have that if you had a basic

income, you know you're gonna be alright anyway, so you've got that bargaining.

Jane: It's like works a top-up isn't it then. You know what I mean. It's something that you

do to be able to go on holiday. Other reasons for why basic income

is a good idea is there's a lot of valuable unpaid work that is done mainly

like child care or housework, that you know, that is really valuable but people

don't get paid for. And it takes a lot of time as well; so that would be helped by

a basic income. It also improves democracy because you're more likely to get

involved in your local community or politics. I mean a big reason people

don't get involved in politics is it takes a lot of time and money to be able to run a

campaign or also, you know, people might, you know, a lot of people are just so

fried by their job, they're working so many hours, you know, to come back home

and go out and do a campaign it takes a lot of time. But also there's a massive

problem with means-tested benefits. There's more unclaimed benefits because they're

means-tested, then there are like fraud; which you wouldn't know because of the

media constantly talking about 'scroungers' or producing a new Channel

4 doc, show about it or whatever. But you know this would be

transparent, it be universal, which would be a massive plus of it. I really like

David Harvey's work who's studied Karl Marx for many years and he did a

podcast recently about Karl Marx's view on freedom; is that you know you can only

really have true freedom, it should be, you know the right, the right wing,

the free market advocates have like taken freedom as something that is

like theirs. But actually it should be a democratic socialist, it should be a socialist

concept because freedom can only be really achieved when you have basic things

covered. So you know you can only have proper freedom if you have a house, if

you can eat, if you have time to do things, like we were talking about democracy or creativity

you know freedom should be seen as a socialist thing.

It should be something we are talking about on the left in terms of all these issues and basic income, if

framed properly, could be key to that. Jay: Yeah. On that, in one of my documentaries years ago

I talked about the ideas of, you know, I was talking about, a big part of it was the

prison system, Doncatraz, where I am from, Doncaster. So

the idea of, the concept of freedom, to be all like theoretical and philosophical

about it, but freedom's role inside different levels of prisons if you've, if

you're in poverty or you can't, you know, you have no access to clean water in

certain parts of the world, you know, that's a form of imprisonment anyway.

That restricts your freedoms anyway, so that's a really important

thing that we think of freedom as a person's ability to do things, do stuff,

like basic income would be a big part of that. One of the main things that

people always say, because just wait a moment, we know some of you might even

be thinking this. Oh well hang on, if you're just given money, you've not got any

incentive, if you're just given money, you know, what are these people gonna do? They're just

gonna sit around, sit around all day, and not do anything. Oh thanks, right there we go. Jane: Are you just gonna sit around with that are you? Jay: Not with a tenner, I'm probably not!

So one of the things is, is that when people have been asked, according to a lot of the

research that's been done around this. When people have been asked: what would

you do if you had a basic income. And they go: oh, well I'd do this,

I'd set-up a local community group, I'd get involved in art workshops or

whatever. All this stuff. But when you ask them what they think somebody else would

do, it's like: oh somebody else, they'd just spend it on cigs and booze.

Somebody else would just do that. And actually people at their heart are really good, most

people are pretty nice as Rutger Bregman said. So it's like, you know, actually a lot of

people would do, well most people would do something really cool, if they

had the freedom to do all the things that they want to pursue but can't.

Because they're in that sort of, in that trap. The other main criticism,

I mean there's quite a few criticisms, misguided criticisms, a lot of them around this. One of them is:

where would you get the money from in our country to just give

everyone a basic income? There's a couple of things on that. The first one is, actually

a lot of the costs of the sort of the welfare system, the health care system,

all those things that are impacted by people being in such poverty all

the time. Those costs will go down anyway. And the other thing is, is that, you know

nobody asked: well where are we gonna get the money from to bomb Iraq? Or whatever.

Or to renew trident? And it comes to these bankers who then give themselves big

bonuses, they find money for it. So of course, this is a simple thing, the

returns on that investment will be huge anyway so you'd save a lot of money

anyway. But even if you didn't save money, the fact that you can find money for all

these things, as a government, but not this, it just shows you that it's a

choice. It's a choice that we could make. Jane: Absolutely, totally agree. Jay: Oh and so one of the other

concerns around it is that if people had a basic income, and it's kind

of a valid concern, okay you've got your basic income but then your rent

goes up. Or the cost of food goes up. Or they start implementing costs on health

care services and things like that. Well you've got a basic income so if you've got some

money, and you're guaranteed, it's a guaranteed universal basic income, then we'll start

charging you for all these little things. And, you know, so that's a valid concern

but that's why, you know, it'd have to be structured within a wider framework

wouldn't it. Jane: Yeah and ideally that would be a democratic socialist programme, which is

becoming increasingly, you know, backed in mainstream, by mainstream politicians, and

political parties such as Corybn's Labour Party. And basically that would mean

that you would have things such as rent controls bought in, you'd need capital

controls as well on an international level because you'd also want to be

bringing in, you know, like wealth taxes and maximum wage.

Maximum wage is to reduce inequality. Wealth is the biggest source of

inequalities; it's not always income, it's also wealth - what you own - so you'd obviously

have to address that. But you need capital controls to make sure that, you know, we

have democratic control over that ability to bring that political program

in. You'd also, you know, things such as cooperatives and public ownership

of transport and energy and all those kind of things, those vital services,

would need to, you know, would be an important part of it as well. 'cause

basically without all that, basic income could become something that,

you know, could be abused, it could do. You've got to address that issue

that, it could be a way of getting rid of the welfare state and then just giving

people barely anything to live on. And that is a concern that people have but

that's why it's got to be seen in a broader framework of it basically being

part of a post-work society really where we accept that technology is developed

so much that we can have it to help us rather than it being seen as a problem.

It's something that can like aid us to become more creative, something that

people like Keynes even, they didn't imagine we'd be working like the hours we are

and that links to the concept of bullshit jobs being, you know, which is our obsession

with work in society. The idea of value and worth comes from what you do

even if you know that that job probably isn't that valuable.

You know least you're getting, you know, that tick: I do a job. So we've got to question

everything and basic income is part of that I think,

isn't it? And that's why we are big advocates of it but within that

framework. Jay: Yeah and again it comes down to work, you know, work is a means to an

end, not the end itself. Jane: So, if you liked what we were saying there and you would like to

support what we do, please consider checking out our Patreon and potentially

Can You Have Body Like Kylie Jenner Without Surgeries? - Duration: 2:50.

Kylie Jenner is famous for her body and millions of her fans dream of having the same or similar

one.

Take a look at the YouTube videos and you'll see hundreds of them showing her workout routines

and diets.

Many people try to copy Kylie's fitness lifestyle, but the question is - Can You Really Have

a Body Like Kylie Jenner Without Surgeries?

If you aren't a fitness expert, it can be difficult to understand how one gets such

a figure - is it genetics?

tons of exercise? or is it simply caused by having lots of money that can buy top plastic

surgeons?

The answer is simple - it can be all of them and it really depends on an individual.

Can you get such body with diet and exercise only?

Absolutely.

Is it easy?

absolutely not.

Will those exercise programs and diet plans get you such body?

Yes, but they do not tell you one thing - the process is really, really slow.

you have to be extremely patient as it doesn't happen overnight.

Or even over a month.

But what about genetics?

Unfortunately it plays a role and it can either help you or go against you.

If you are naturally extremely skinny, for example, it will be tough to achieve the same

curves Kylie has without years of the effort.

What about plastic surgery?

Sure, go ahead if you have lots of money.

It is a shortcut to it, but you will still have to eat right and exercise.

There's no easy way of doing it.

Keep in mind - You don't have to be a clone of somebody to look good.

You can still have a great body if you follow simple fitness and nutrition program, regardless

of what you currently look.

But it won't happen by watching videos that promise you body transformations in 2 weeks.

Yes, you can have a great body without plastic surgery and thousands of people who exercise

and eat healthy are the proof.

The only thing is that it takes lots of effort and time, so you must be constistent and patient.

You know why not many people have body like hers?

not because others do not get plastic surgeries, but because they give up after few weeks of

exercising.

It is one thing to want something and another to actually keep doing things in order to

achieve what you want.

Be easy on yourself, however.

It is pretty much Kylie Jenner's only job in life to look good.

If she doesn't, then nobody would care what she does anyway.

So, she spends lots of time and money on maintaining it.

What do you think about it?

Do you think exercise is enough to look like her?

Let us know in the comments.

Ian Wright outlines how Arsenal can beat Manchester City - Duration: 2:29.

Ian Wright is not optimistic about Arsenal getting a result at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday

City will be looking to bounce back after a disastrous midweek defeat to struggling Newcastle United

And they will have seen Tottenham leapfrog them into second place in the Premier League table on Saturday too

But it is that Newcastle United defeat that Wright believes Arsenal need to home in on to work out a way to beat Pep Guardiola's side

Wright felt there was one thing about the Magpies' display, that will stand the Gunners in good stead

He said: "Man City have shown they can be fragile. When it doesn't quite go for them, they can run out of ideas

"When you look at the way they played against Newcastle, once Newcastle realised they're not going as wide as they do with [Raheem] Sterling and [Leroy] Sane, they started to get a bit desperate, they didn't create as many chances

"Newcastle defended fantastically and that's what we have to do. You have to hope that certain things go wrong for City and that's when you have to get in their face, closer to Fernandinho, closer to the Silvas, closer to Sane and in Sterling's face

They will try and break you down but you have to be resolute.  "Can we do that? A team that gave Cardiff 19 opportunities? We can't afford to do that with City as they will take the chances

You're hoping the guys can be resolute, hang in there and see if we can get something

News24 - Solskjaer says a strong February can push Man United into the top four - Duration: 4:04.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident that Manchester United are equipped to break into the top four ahead of schedule and flourish in their tough-looking February fixtures

The Norwegian hit a first bump in the road since becoming caretaker manager as Burnley visited on Tuesday, with a late comeback required to seal a 2-2 home draw as his eight-match winning start to life at the Old Trafford helm came to an end

That run means Solskjaer's side enter the weekend just two points off the Champions League qualification places - quite the turnaround considering they were 11 points off the pace when he succeeded Jose Mourinho in December

United will attempt to increase the pressure on top-four rivals Arsenal and Chelsea by winning at Leicester on Sunday, kicking off a tough month which includes the Champions League last-16 first leg against Paris St Germain and FA Cup fifth-round trip to Chelsea

'I feel it's very (well) equipped,' Solskjaer said of the squad's strength heading into February

'We've had now six weeks together. We've found out what strengths, weaknesses we've got

'I think we've risen to most of the challenges, maybe of course the setback of the two Burnley goals we conceded, maybe they will make us move to the next level because I think we've given ourselves a chance now to get into the top four maybe earlier than we thought

'It's not too many games, there's still a week between every single one of them but it's tough opposition

Definitely.'You start with this game against Leicester, Fulham away as well is also a tough one

'Then you've got the three big ones you can call it, with PSG, Chelsea and Liverpool after each other

Then a very hard one, when you think you've done with those three, with Palace away

So it's a tough month - but we're ready.'I've got a big squad, it's only Marcos Rojo now who's out for a period, the rest are fit and available

'Solskjaer expects Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba to be fit for the trip to the King Power Stadium after the former missed the Burnley match through injury and the latter was seen limping away from Old Trafford

The duo could have key roles to play against a team who have produced Jekyll and Hyde displays under divisive Claude Puel

The Foxes saw their FA Cup embarrassment at Newport compounded by losses to Southampton and Wolves, only to end that run of defeats by holding leaders Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Anfield on Wednesday

'They beat Chelsea,' Solskjaer said of Leicester, who also defeated Manchester City on Boxing Day

'I watched the game on Wednesday night and it's a team full of energy, pace, they defend well

'They drop back and defend so it's hard to break them down and then they've got the pace up front with (Jamie) Vardy, (Demarai) Gray, (James) Maddison, (Marc) Albrighton, so it's going be a tough challenge - but we like challenges

'

Eating Giant Snails From The Can! - Taste Test EP2 - Duration: 8:55.

- Hey, what's up, I'm back with another episode

of "What Is In The Bag",

where I ask my wife to find something,

anything at the store that she thinks

would be interesting for me to try and eat

and you get to watch it live.

Now, someone suggested that I should do

the initial taste-test completely blind.

So, that's what I'm gonna do.

So, I've got this, this is mine.

This is actually my sleeping mask,

but it's pretty cool, it's got

Bluetooth headphones in it and everything,

so I'm gonna throw that on.

I've got a trash can close by and I've got some water,

'cause I have no idea what to expect here.

So, let's see what she's got me today.

(crinkling)

It feels heavy, it feels round.

Oh, God.

No, this is gonna be something in a can,

like some type of dead something.

We don't have a pretty bag today, I guess.

This just feels like a plastic bag.

What the heck, how many bags is it in?

(crinkling)

Oh, no!

Well, I don't know what it is,

but I can't open it without a can opener thing!

Come on, Dawn!

What do--

I'll find a way to do this.

Okay, so I'm blindfolded back up

and I've got a can opener.

I haven't looked at anything.

(crinkling)

Here's the can.

I'll try to show it to you

so you get a good look at whatever

is about to be in store for me

before I try to open this thing.

Oh, I think maybe--

I have no idea if anything's happening right now.

It feels like I'm doing something.

Did I do anything?

Oh, no, are you supposed to grab onto the lid?

I think I remember this can opener

having some kinda grippy-

Oh, come on!

Okay, I'm gonna wrap the bag around the outside

so I can't see this.

I'm just gonna try to look real quick

to figure out how to get the dang lid off!

I just have to grab onto--

This was the thing I was looking for,

there's some little jaws.

Okay, okay, okay!

You know what, this feels--

Oh, God, it feels like some kind of

processed meat product

and there's probably juice in it.

I mean, that's what I'm getting the feeling of.

I want to remove the can.

I'm gonna try to smell it a little bit.

Oh, gosh, that smells bad.

Oh, no.

Oh, no, that smells like some kinda

egg something or another.

Oh, no!

Oh my gosh, that definitely smells

like something related to an egg.

Oh, no, what kind of egg would come in a can?

I am concerned about this.

Oh, man, I'm just gonna stick my--

I don't even know what--

Do I just stick my fingers in there?

God, it smells like an egg.

What's this?

What the heck?

What on Earth?

What is this?

What is this?

What shape is this?

I don't even know what shape this is.

It feels like a

eyeball or something!

Oh my God, what have you done, Dawn?

Oh, man. Oh, man.

I am very concerned about this.

Okay, okay.

Alright.

Here goes.

Oh, God!

(gags)

Whoa!

Oh, no!

(spits)

What the heck is that?

Oh, no!

Ew.

It was gristley, and then it--

(gags)

It felt like something popped,

it didn't have a whole lotta flavor,

but oh, what is that?

Oh, no.

Okay, I'm gonna find out what it was

I just stuck in my mouth.

What the heck?

Escargots!

Huh, no w--

Giant snails?

No wonder I couldn't figure out

why it had different textures!

Oh, my gosh!

Look at that!

'Cause it's got, like--

I guess the part of it that sticks to stuff

and the rest of it that comes out of the body.

And it's cold!

Like, aw!

Wouldn't you-- (gags)

Wouldn't you at least warm these things up or something?

One dozen giant snails.

What does the thing say?

Oh, preparation.

Drain contents and place a snail in each shell

which has been rinsed in boiling water.

Cover in butter sauce as in the recipe below.

Place the prepared snails in a hot oven

until snail butter is bubbling.

Yeah, they're supposed to be cooked!

I just ate one straight outta the can

and I didn't even have any butter sauce!

See, this says, "drain the contents

"and place a snail in each shell."

What shell?

Am I just already s'posed to have snail shells?

Or is like, a separate purchase?

That is one thing I don't have laying around

is snail shells, I don't have that.

Was there supposed to be, like, a combo pack or something?

You know, like, snail body, snail shells, and a drink?

I don't know, I don't know.

The shells can't be down in there

but maybe I should dig around a little bit

and just make sure they're not hidden.

Just nasty snails.

Goodness Dawn, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Ingredients, snails.

We can stop there, that's really all that matters.

Water, salt, pepper, laurel cloves, citric acid.

Couldn't taste any of that over the snail.

Hey, these are keto friendly, though, one carb.

And that one carb comes from fiber.

You can subtract that.

This is a great snack

if you hate things that are delicious.

This part right here,

the little, I dunno, feet.

What do you call them?

Their little scooter, their little body,

the thing they slide across the ground with?

Their little suction pad?

I dunno what you call this,

I dunno the anatomy of a snail.

This part is kinda calloused, y'know,

'cause it's probably draggin' across the asphalt and stuff,

and it almost feels like a tongue.

(gags)

You know how sometimes, when you're eatin' a piece of steak

and you just get ahold of that one piece

and there's a big ol' piece of gristle,

or a big ol' piece of uncooked fat,

and you're like (gags)?

Each one of these is that piece of steak!

Why, why would you eat this?

I played football in junior high.

This smells like the boy's locker room.

I'm gonna tell you something right now.

If being wealthy means having a refined enough pallet

to enjoy something like this,

let me stay a poor man.

If you wanna enjoy a snack similar to this,

but on the cheap, just cut the rubber soles

off of some old shoes, soak 'em

in some dirty water, and enjoy.

Well, Dawn, thank you for one of the most disgusting things

I could imagine putting in my mouth today.

This was certainly something.

Maybe one of these days, you'll get me

something delicious that's a mystery.

I think I'll go in and prepare a nice dish

for dinner tonight and surprise you.

Hey, if you enjoyed this video, drop a like on it,

share it with somebody, comment below.

Don't be givin' Dawn any more ideas.

I just gotta, I gotta turn this on real quick again.

I already ended the video and threw that stuff away

but these things got a aftertaste that will not stop.

They just linger.

I'mma tell you that right now.

And they stinky, they got everything sticky.

My table, everything.

It's like snail slime.

Can You Learn 2 Languages at Once? | Italian, Spanish, French - Duration: 6:49.

Weilà weilà raga!

Come state?

Spero tutto bene.

How's it going everybody?

In today's video, I'd like to talk a little bit about studying more than one language

at the same time.

Can it be done?

The simple answer is, yes of course it can be done.

I'm going to share with you guys a little bit about my experience so far with studying

French after having studied Italian and what happens when I get confused with the two.

When I started studying foreign languages I first started studying Spanish because that

was the language offered at my school.

So I'd study Spanish, I learned a little bit about conjugating verbs.

As Spanish is a fellow Romance Language, when I started learning Italian having some prior

knowledge of Spanish helped me.

So for example when I was first learning simple phrases like "Ti presento" o "Le presento"

- now "ti presento" is the informal way of saying "I introduce to you."

So like for example, "ti presento il mio amico," I'm introducing to you or I present to you

my friend.

In Spanish they do a similar thing, I think it may also be "te presento," something like

that.

But the point is, I remember that's one of the first things I learned with object pronouns

and so having already learned that in Spanish helped me when I was learning it in Italian.

So there are many instances where knowing another related language can help you with

the main one that you are studying.

So having some knowledge of Spanish helped me with Italian.

However, I would get really confused with Spanish numbers and Italian numbers because

they are so similar.

So I was learning from my grandparents how to count to ten in Italian, "uno, due, tre,

quattro, cinque, sei," and etcetera.

And in school it was "uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cincos, seis."

So I would get confused because uno is uno, it's the same.

Due and dos, they're very similar.

So I would get really confused at that.

So there were instances where I was confused with very basic things and other things where

having prior knowledge of a fellow Romance Language helped me with Italian.

So similarly when I started learning French I really used Italian to help me.

But here's the difference, when I was learning Spanish and Italian it was kind of learning

both kind of at the same pace you could say.

Because it was pretty elementary what I was learning with Spanish back in elementary school.

Now French, what happened?

I already mastered Italian before even attempting to learn French.

So now I had so much more information that I could use to my advantage to learning French

and it really has proven to be helpful, I do it all the time.

But now what is the confusion with French and Italian?

What happens when you already have mastered one language and now learn another one?

So there are instances where I get confused, but it's not to the same degree as when it

was Spanish and Italian.

That was just straight up I couldn't remember what something was and I was counting starting

in Italian, finishing in Spanish and vice versa.

The thing with French is that it's all with little words.

Yesterday I was actually teaching someone a little bit of French and so I was pointing

to objects around me.

One of the objects I always have with me is my glasses.

So, for whatever reason, I couldn't remember the word for Italian because we were doing

French and then we were going into Italian to show how the languages are similar and

then how they're different.

Because in many instances if I say for example, "demain matin" means "domani mattina."

Domani - demain, mattina - matin.

The words are very, very similar when they are written.

When you're speaking maybe you won't be able to pick up on it at first.

But the moment you read it, you're like yeah evidently that's what it means.

So we were going through stuff like that.

And so then I pointed to my glasses and I said "questi sono..."

I couldn't remember the word, because just a few minutes before I said "ce sont des lunettes."

So "these are glasses," des lunettes, you could just say by itself lunettes, I was like

how do you say glasses in Italian?

And so then my student actually reminded me and they said "it's occhiali" and I was like

yeah!

It's one of those moments where then you get confused.

So I get confused in that way.

And then when I was teaching another student, something really funny happened, which happens

to me all the time.

I was speaking in Italian and was going to say what something meant.

So I was going to say "allora questa vuol dire" instead of saying "questa" I wanted

to say "ça," which is one of the equivalents of questo in French.

So I was going to say "et ça vuol dire."

So when you're speaking it someone may not even pick up on the fact that you're mixing

the languages unless they have knowledge of them, right?

They may just be confused, they may just be like well he's the teacher so maybe he's just

using an Italian word that I'm not aware of, right?

Like, that's happened a couple of times.

The main idea is this: yes, you can learn more than one language at the same time, I

don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Technically speaking I've done both kinds of things, where I've learned languages in

a sequential order.

Meaning I started with Italian, pretty much completed it, and then moved on to another

language.

I also moved on to a related language, so my prior knowledge of Italian has helped me

tremendously with learning French, a fellow Romance Language.

When I was learning Spanish and Italian at the same time, I found myself (thinking) because

they were so similar I was getting confused on fundamental stuff and I wasn't really that

well able to "ragionà" as I want to now say in Italian, to like reason between the two

of them.

If you find yourself wanting use a word from another language as you're speaking another

one, so me speaking English I wanted to say "ragionare."

Do it.

You can do it and then explain to someone what you mean.

Or use one of those expressions like "well as we say in Italian 'ragionare'" and then

the translation will come to you.

Sometimes you need to actually make that "mistake" - if you even want to call it a mistake - but

use that word from another language to carry you into the other one.

So I think yes you can learn two languages at once if they are not related languages

like they're from different language families.

For example you're learning Italian and then you're learning Chinese.

I don't think you will have as much confusion learning those two languages at the same time.

If you are learning two related languages, you may find yourself getting confused often.

My recommendation based on my experience would be master one language or at least get to

a really good level in one of those related languages before moving on to the other because

if anything, if you study Italian first like me and then learn French, Italian's going

to help you.

Whereas if you're learning both at once, you could get confused especially seeing as the

grammar is very, very similar and just like I said before "demain matin - domani mattina"

the words look really similar, you may confuse mattina with matin, you know what I mean?

So that is ultimately what I would say.

So I would love to know what you guys think about learning more than one language at the

same time or getting confused with languages.

Let me know your thoughts down below in the comment section.

That's all for today's video guys.

Thank you so much for tuning and checking it out!

Always remember to spread the love and I'll catch you all next time.

Ciao ciao!

Can You Loot an Airdrop in the Air? Crossbow vs AWM? PUBG Mobile MythBusters - Duration: 11:40.

In today's video I'm going to analyze the following myths. Is the crossbow more

powerful than the awm? How many bullets you need to destroy every vehicle in the

game? Can you actually loot an airdrop in the air?

Only here in GameVestment's

PUBG Mobile MythBusters

Coucou everyone welcome back is your host GV

and I hope you having an amazing day huge quick announcement we have Merch

I'm going to be designing cool stuff for all of you I want you to have something

that you would like to wear go outside with it and not just add my logo and

that's all. Hopefully you will like it I've been receiving amazing feedback

thank you so much for everything check it out link in the description so let's go

right into it. Our first myth comes from Elder PUBG says one crossbow bolt can

destroy a full level 3 helmet to understand this better we're going to go

to the armory where we can see the stats of the awm no surprise there is the most

powerful weapon in the game. Now if we check out the crossbow you can see how

similar the power is compared with the awm but not quite the same so our

mission here is to compare both and see what we can find if you never read the

description of the level 3 helmet it says it gives you a 55% damage reduction

the same applies to a level 3 vest but with an extra 50 capacity which means

you can carry more stuff and here you can see the protection it gives you

which I really want to analyze better in a PUBG Mobile theory. So we are ready to

go you don't need to hide my little test subject is going to be ok it's only a

tiny harmless Magnum bullet in your skull what's the worst thing like happen

we're going to be aiming at the head of course because this is the test between

AWM versus a level 3 helmet oh that sound is just so so

Here's the picture of the player where you can see the level three is completely

destroyed and we're going to make the same test but with the crossbow. We are

ready to go and that's what you call a brave 9yo.. I'm proud of you test

subject I'm proud of you and looking at the screenshot we're going to see the

same result level three helmet completely destroyed

with one crossbow bolt but wait because there's more we're going to make the

same test but now with a level three vest directly to that chest and we're

not going to get the knock so let's analyze the damage really quick and

there you go that's what you call 55% Time to do the same but with the crossbow and

there you go with less of 50% damage I would say actually if you analyze both

screenshots you can see the difference in the player's health of course but also in

the level three vest. We have our first answer and I'm going to approve this myth

A crossbow bolt can easily destroy a level three helmet if it's a headshot of

course but is not as powerful as the awm if you shoot the enemies somewhere else

next myth... and this one comes from Runder and he says Mirado the

muscle-car has the lowest vehicle health really the muscle car the weakest

that's really hard to believe but stay tuned because in PUBG Mobile

Mythbusters we have discovered some crazy stuff before so let's go right into it

For this one I'm going to be using an m4

556 bullets of course and single shot to see how many bullets you need to

destroy every vehicle and here's a fun fact only with a level 3 backpack you

can hold 830 bullets of 556 if you didn't know so get ready because it's

time to send some flowers if you know what I mean and if you do like this

video because you are freaking legend Let's go <3

There you go and don't worry because I'm going to make this really easy for you

to understand this is what I call my top seven strongest PUBG Mobile vehicles

First place of course the Jeep with 49 bullets after that one the Dacia, Party Van. I was

not expecting the buggy to be in top four to be honest really cool there! Opened and

closed pickup which I never use and in the last place the bike so the question

here is what position is the muscle car next we have the tricycle or the three wheel

bike. A vehicle that everyone hates... with 25 bullets not bad at all

and there you go we have the first one that closed Mirado with 25 bullets as

weak as a bike and after that we have the freaking boat

Are you kidding me?

A boat is stronger than a opened Mirado muscle car that will be destroyed

with 18 bullets and after that of course we have the Scooter and the jet ski there

you go we have our answer technically is not the worse one but since the muscle car

is only better than a scooter and a jet ski I'm going to approve this one

So yeah our Runder Mirado has the lowest vehicle health

Don't worry we can always try in an another video next myth and this

one I really didn't want to do it because I knew it was going to be a pain

in the (Peach) and Andrey the Gamer with 41 likes says you can land on top of an air drop in

War Mode

okay I got this I'm a freaking scientist I can do this

If the airdrop lands on me will it count? I don't think it counts :(

I can feel it now I'm so ready I can do this

oh come on freaking game!!!

Well at least we know what happens if it lands on your

head does that count I don't think it counts :(

come on come on come on please you can do this just a little bit

I honestly don't have time for you get rekt boy

Really game? really? Again!!!

Ahhh did you see that? technically I was in the air and the loot button appeared

I feel I'm getting closer now

okay I'm getting better time to change strategy and dang that was so close

Ahhh I touched it so that pretty much counts

I went through it so we can say it's impossible to land on the drop but now

my question is Can we loot the air drop in the air?

Ok so we know the loot button appears I was not quick enough. Let me try again

Oh Coucou there! you look like one of my test subjects there you go

And there you go finally we have our answer and sadly no you cannot loot the air

drop in the air, but wait because there's more and we actually learn a couple of

things here. For example if you are unlucky like me the airdrop can land

inside the blue zone and if you are lucky you can find AFKs squads

This is what happens when you are knocked before landing if you have a teammate. You will

not lose merit if you kill your teammates in war mode maybe this only

happens in arcade mode but honestly I'm not sure so let me know what you think down

below and this is what happens when your boy GV tries to play like a pro...

So we have our final answer no you cannot land on the AirDrop and you cannot loot it

while it's in the air. You have no idea how much I suffered trying to record

this so if you enjoy it or learn something new don't forget to Like share

comment and subscibe really helps a lot <3 Big shout out to my patrons thank you so much for

your amazing support don't forget to check out the merch hopefully you will like

it thank you so much for watching and I will snipe you soon...

Our narrowboat engine pipe snapped! Can Kath fix it? - Duration: 11:56.

Hi. Welcome to today's episode.

Next we are meant to be going over the Pontcysyllte aqueduct. However, and that's

literally meant to be tomorrow. It's not gonna be. It might be. We've had a boat

issue. We have the bit that connects the diesel has snapped. Did you want to Kath-splain

that. I was just in the engine bay today doing my pre checks ready for

tomorrow and a little bit of cleanup because it is important to keep your engine

bay clean so that you can tell when little minor issues occur. And we have

been working for actually a couple of weeks on cleaning the engine bay. Yeah

it's quite it's just the build-up of soot and that from the exhaust. So I was

just in there doing some cleanup and then I was sat staring at the engine like

I often do. Yeah in the col. It's her favorite thing. Sit there with the deck board up

and the engine running just watching it and I noticed the dripping so I traced

the source of the drip and then I thought I can fix that real quick. Which

you could. Yeah. By tightening the bolts and perhaps taking the whole pipe off. We

can show you the pipe- we've got it with us. So I identified the source of the a leak

and it was coming from the pipe that goes from the diesel filter into the

onto another bit of engine that then splits the supply off to the three

injection plugs. Are they called 'injection plugs'? Yeah. The three plugs so the fuel comes out of there it comes in from

the tank through the filter through this pipe and at the bottom of this pipe (not anymore)

and at the bottom of this pipe diesel was there going pffft pffft. Drip, drip, drip. So I got my wrench, just loosened it

off a bit and then I thought well I can't actually no I couldn't get to that

so took the air filter off so I could get access and do a little mop up and

then I thought I'll just take the whole pipe off so I can have a proper look at

it. And I undid the one bit and did the other bit and I thought it was undone so

and it's always a little bit tight because the pipes

tuck in just because see at the end that the pipes just tuck into their joints so

I pulled it and pulled just a little bit of it and then I got it. And Annamarie

said you napped that I said no no I didn't because I don't have the strength to snap

copeper pipe. Eight millimeter copper pipe. Or 5/16.

Why have you double knotted the bag? So that nothing falls out.

Don't close up for my filthy hands I haven't washed them properly because there's no hot water. This end of the copper pipe

goes into the bit with the fuel filter see it's got an olive on there and then the

copper pipe. And then this nut holds it on and this end it's just sheer and then I

have this little piece here which is the rest of the pipe.

So this is the bit you broke with your pure hands and strength. Yeah. Unlikely right?

So, what I'm.... (announcement in Welsh stating which trains are coming next)

My question is...

Are we going to make it over the aqueduct tomorrow?

So my plan is...

Because tomorrow is the last day of no wind. I've got two plans one is to get

another washer another olive because I don't have any olives so and then to

slightly re-bend this pipe so that I can put it back on and fix this. I like that

plan. So we can run the engine. The second plan is to buy some new pipe.

And fit everything. Yeah so again I'll get a bag of olives and then these

nuts will come off I'd have to cut this again to get this nut off which I don't

really want to do. Don't play with there too much. So my

preference is plan number one partly because I have to buy ten meters of

copper pipe. We're buying it anyway we're just gonna take it back if we don't use it.

Because taking a like an hour to get into Wrexham. So really lucky where we

moored out because it's right near a train station. We're moored up next to a

train station we're going to go in to place called Wrexham and they've got

multiple hardware shops and a car repair shop which coincidentally is where we

went yesterday to get some fuel hose. Which incidentally is why I was in the

engine bay in the first place staring at the engine.

We are heading back in the hope that there is a tiny bit of light left and

we're going to be able to fit this. Plan A is still our favorite plan let's see.

What do you reckon? Munchy or no Munchy?

Munchie. Always Munchy.

No Munchy!

Oh that's disappointing!

Are you filming? Yes.

So just to show you-

this bit here is the fuel pump.

And this pipe went on that and down like that. Yep. And this hole here and as you

can see again is the one that broke. So I got some of these olives.

Want some scissors?

So this is our A option we can just reuse this broken bit of pipe.

Alice did you see did you see? Alice is exciting and excited.

Is she? Alice is very excited because tomorrow we're going to go over the

aqueduct as long as everything's fine when I check in the engine in the

morning.

So it's been a long day.

I've been in the engine most of it.

We cleaned out the bilge a little bit earlier on I replaced the fuel hose I've repaired

at least partially a fuel leak. I think the engines a lot quieter now.

What we think is that there may have been a slight

hairline fracture in the pipe because there's absolutely no way that I would

have been able to break that pipe if it hadn't have already been compromised,

because just trying to bend it and we had to heat it up with a

blowtorch very carefully obviously because it's diesel and we didn't want

to have a fire and bend it that way. And then

it's been interesting. The stupid thing that I did at the end must forget to

turn the fuel line back on. So we're we're celebrating Yay 'the engine, the engine'

and then it cuts off because it's got no diesel.

But I'm tired and

thanks for usual, for your support and thanks for watching this video will give

you another update that's a little more cheery next time.

'Food', you say! Take me to your food bowl then.

Take me to your food bowl!

can a dying channel be saved? - Duration: 11:12.

Where to begin, Where to begin?

What's good internet, my name is Attack Slug

And is this rock bottom?

Is this channel dying a very slow and protracted death? Maybe

Is it possible to come back from such a devastating loss of audience and traffic? Maybe

Is doing the same thing over going to eventually

bring back any of that audience?

Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?

But hold on there playa

Let's back up a little bit and first figure out who is to blame here.

Whose fault is it that things are the way they are in 2019.

IT WAS ME ALL ALONG

And it's easy to first and foremost blame Youtube.

As a youtuber that is your first instinct is to blame YouTube

because to be fair they do [beep] up quite a lot.

And having had a great month of August, last year.

When I went from August then September then October

Which is usually my best month of the year and I just kept seeing the numbers go down

I'm like what are you doing YouTube?

And out there in rumor land "I heard it through the grapevine"

(Ooohhh)

That YouTube in October had changed how they classify one view.

From what I'm hearing and obviously I can't confirm this but I'm

hearing now that somebody has to watch 25% AT BEST of that video to count it as

one view which is insane.

So surely I would like to blame YouTube for this

entire scenario of burying the channel

SHOVEL STYLE

and not recommending videos

etc etc. But perhaps perchance there is another culprit and that is the

decline of the overall audience for wrestling related content.

VIIIIINCE

And one easy metric for that is pay-per-view prediction videos you look at early in

2018 versus late in 2018 and you're gonna see a pretty decent drop-off in

the views of those two so people just are just burned out on wrestling

and perhaps that's why my 2K19 videos did very poorly as compared to

18. 17. 16. 15. etcetera. Believe me I get it. RAW has been terrible. That's their fault not mine

I can't control that.

But what if I could?

But these are my videos so

how much of that blame falls upon me?

it's me

I'm not being enthusiastic

enough or excited enough or whatever is that people want to see. I'm not playing

enough Fortnite apparently.

YOU SUCK AT FORTNITE

But of course the confusing

metric there is that my subs are still going up.

Like slowly but steadily my subs

are still going up people are still subscribing and you would think with

your daily subscriptions going up that your daily views would also go up.

If I learned one thing from January it's that I can put out half the videos, do half

the work and still maintain the same level of traffic because YouTube has

me in this box Not any lower, not any higher

I'm just kind of trapped here.

But considering that YouTube a lot of times does not

send out notifications.

YOU GET NOTHING

thanks guys

Or the content is just not to their liking and they're going to be

subscribed but not watch

Yeah but like, what if you played Fortnite?

Which is how you end up with over 70,000 subscribers and can make videos even of

wrestling that do under a thousand views and it's like

WHY U NO WATCH?

Is it me? Is it YouTube? Is it wrestling? Like what is the? Is it all three? We're all to

blame we're gonna share in this blame train

CHOOCHOO

I've always tried my absolute best

to say a hundred percent authentic in the content that I create and perhaps my

tastes don't align with the general YouTube tastes, clearly.

MORE FORTNITE

I know the solutions to these problems might seem obvious to some people but

the bottom line is I am downright terrible at faking enthusiasm. I can't

pretend to like things I don't actually like just to get more views

on YouTube. It would be super clear to you guys if I'm playing a game that I

don't actually give a [beep] about

No I'm here to play video games and talk wrestling

that's what I love to do. But moving into 2019 that is clearly not enough

AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE

So what options do I have? Lets review...

BREAK IT DOWN

I could totally go down the clickbait rabbit hole. I know that

YouTube right now is saying "we're gonna crack down on thumbnails" but there are still

ways to make elaborate clickbait nonsense and the fact of the matter is

it works.

THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE

Personally I've avoided going down that

clickbait rabbit hole because it just feels like an escalating amount of

nonsense. Like I understand why it works but having to sit here and like photoshop

my eyeballs real big or whatever. On that same note I could totally get into

OH MAN YOU GUYS EVERY [beep] GAME IS SO [beep] AWESOME! YOU SHOULD [beep] PLAY IT! I LOVE IT! GIVE ME ALL THE MONEY [beep]

*deep sigh*

But again I'm terrible at faking enthusiasm and that hurt my voice.

I could go into the avenue of making these long heavily edited video essay

type things, those do quite well on the platform. But those are a gamble because

just because you put more work and more hours and more time and more craft into

a video does not guarantee that video gets views. So you can spend 20 hours

editing a video and get 20 views

20 cents if you're lucky

And even when I've done videos that are more heavily edited

like my Game of the Year videos those do

way less than wrestling videos.

Now of course the opposite of the video essay

which is a lot less videos, would be to flood the market with way more Attack

Slug content, and the problem there is definitely YouTube. Because the more

videos you put out in a given day the less notifications they send out.

The more they put a chokehold a chokehold on those videos and just they get no views

and a lot of work for no traffic.

See here I'm now by myself, talking to myself... that's Chaos Theory

*laugh*

Of course there's always sponsored videos

And I can hear the crowd chanting now

YOU SOLD OUT YOU SOLD OUT I didn't sell out, I bought in!

*laugh*

I don't want to do sponsored videos and believe me I've gotten plenty of emails in the

last five years saying "hey please play this game we'll pay you money" I don't

want to do that. Like I don't want to get into that vein of oh man I'll take any

money for anything because money over everything

*laugh*

I have tried my hardest in

the last five plus years, that if I'm playing a game and I tell you I like it

is because I genuinely like it, and vice versa. As many of you have suggested I

could move this whole operation over to Twitch. But of course that's a whole

different laundry list of potential issues, Number one being my voice can't

handle constantly talking for six hours eight hours etc, to have a successful

Twitch stream

Thanks for donating, up next we're gonna play some more Fortnite. Stick around you guys...

And because I am not the most enthusiastic or hypebeast whatever

BRUHHH. THIS [beep] RIGHT HERE

Having to rely on subs and donations is kind of not how

like I want the content to speak for itself.

Not because I'm reading out your name on a live stream.

Let's see what else what else... Oh

I could make every episode I do episode 1. Because clearly on YouTube

episode 1 gets the most views

Welcome to the series bro. Sub for more episodes and smash that like button.

So every day I could play a different game and say hey this

game episode one and then never play it again.

that's a good trick

Much like the Twitch suggestion I've heard hey focus more on your second channel.

You have a second channel?

Because there's been a prevailing thought that YouTube has a

habit of pushing newer channels over older channels

back of the line old man

And while that is less risky than moving everything over to Twitch that is still

pretty much having to start over right? I mean the most obvious solution is to

just jump on whatever is the most popular game at the moment on that bandwagon

and then ride that bandwagon until the wheels fall off and then find a

different bandwagon and hop on that one.

And go from game to game to game to game as long as they're being popular

being watched etc etc. And man that's exhausting. Nine times out of ten the

games I'm good at are not the games that are popular. But if somehow, someway in

2019 Trials Rising and Spelunky 2 are the biggest games of the year man I'm set.

I'm good to go

and what a world that would be

totally go back to rapping?

YouTube is broken Sub Boxes are choking

tell me it's okay? what the [beep] is you smoking?

man you think I wouldn't notice?

play the game, get the clicks way to fame, get ya rich

but all that [beep] is bogus [beep]

On second thought, let's not.

And I could totally get into the Top 10 List

bit of business because those are pretty low effort right? It's just I'm gonna sit

here and read off of Wikipedia and put up some pictures that are kinda moving

around a little bit and that's it. The problem there is that I don't have an

accent. And those tend to do well when you have

an accent for whatever reason here on YouTube. and also I'm pretty terrible at

making top-ten lists even if this this videos is a Top 10 list... [beep]

So after all those words being said, all those different various edits in front of this

green screen, where does that leave me?

I DON'T KNOW

And regardless of whose

fault that is between YouTube, between the downturn in

wrestling and between my dumb face. But something has to change and if there's

some brilliant idea that you thought of that you think is gonna help this

channel certainly leave it down in the comments below. All of you long time

Attack Slug fans I love you thanks for hanging out thanks for watching videos.

I have no idea where 2019 is going to take this channel. I have no idea where 2019 is

gonna take my life. I started this journey as an absolute nobody and if I

end this journey as an absolute nobody, at least I had fun doing it.

Can't ask for much more than that. I'm Attack Slug, I'll see you next time, whenever that

happens to be right here on this channel and I'm out
