And thats all folks...
Today is the last day of the year 2016
Whereas outside is -5 C°
therefore i moved inside of the house
I will deal with the carpets and covers
I already removed all the old vinyls
this is pretty thick and rough vinyl
not suitable for me
Unfortunately this cover is not original
Here i see a beautiful female leg
These are also covered with the same vinyl
and simply glued on the original one
I know this, cos the original vinyl
has a yellow square pattern
The foam also original
has an original stamp on it
Armrest has also thick vinyl
but here on not glued to the original
Already i cleaned the foam off
it must be rightened on some place
and will covered properly again
It causes the most problems
this side quarter panels
I already removed the vinyl
and here is a cover from fiberboard
Sadly it is also not original
therefore it must be take a pattern with the proper shape from inside of the body
and with help of the pattern making a new one
To find a pattern for the original shape i search on the web
I found on the triumphexp.com Doug from Vegas
He made this PDF pattern
I printed it out and stiched together
sadly it fits also bad
not the shape what i need
As the covers of the seats missing anyway, i decided
that i reset the original tan interior
For this i will buy vinyl in proper colour
and i will upholster all the panels
This original tan colour will good fit to the present red body colour too
and if later i want to restore the original brooklands green colour
than i dont need to touch the interior...
Finally i want to wish for all my wiewers a peaceful, Happy New Year
and all good for the upcoming 2017 year
Cheers!
