and this week our very first topic is

want to be talking about this its

a first of all excuse my voice and I'm
sick this week Taylor I guess
transmitted across all those thousands
of miles from Florida to ohio so I got
it thanks to like that you're waiting at
drawing so that can be hopefully i'll be
ready for it yeah
harry potter style means excusing it
means I potter style these look at the
ants from South Korea that you have to
assess gang of harry potter style is
where you can add new and experiences
without having to actually resort to
physical construction of new attractions
so at the living rooms for example to
keep a trotting out new butterbeer
flavors or varieties like flood like
five spots lunch lunch uh we're gonna do
this projection mapping show we're
pretty sure we'll be talking about the
last couple weeks here in the podcast
and so taking that mentality you can
really apply that to any area of either
park street in the future of volcano day
or if you want to expand even more
equality is really cool things with city
walk with hotels so I figured what are
the three most likely areas will not
only just likely but also the three
areas that are probably the most
desperately in need of some freshening
up so I came up with skull island even
though it's brand-new springfield and
Marvel superhero island like it's
important to go island is brand-new what
what could they possibly do to make
skyland even better
first of all you have interaction we
have two little kiosks ones for
merchandise lunch for food
I want to see more exclusively designed
or perhaps even just relative items
available either one so let's do
something like one of the things that I
talked about was doing like an eighth
wonder expedition company
he'll get something uh as you're waiting
in line you can get this and you can eat
it and
would be something that has more to do
with the backstory the attraction that
necessarily like bananas or King Kong or
something obvious lies but i also want
to be something along the lines of the
opening ceremony where skylands had that
some actors come out that look like
they're the best friends are the bodies
of the bus drivers that you have and the
crazy a charming lady leaving her little
stick and slam effects and smoke that be
something that's kind of cool i would
think to do maybe as a nightly schedule
something that would also kind of
counter weight of the new Hogwarts
castle summer show that we expect this
year or at the very least you could have
some of those characters dress up and
walk around in front of the attraction
during the busiest times of the year
just a typical kind of meat and green
stuff basically that would make you make
Skull Island Fuel more like an island
and not just like a little cooked a
little added on experience tucked away
in the corner i really like that idea
what the what the live actors and live
entertainment area i think that that
seemed tonk in general would really
benefit from something like that and
also with really inform you what is
coming in the queue as well you have
your kind of ready for that and it kind
of encompasses all one experience that
happens though the whole way I
definitely think that some live actors
some sort of like to have live
entertainment near that area would
definitely beneficial i'm not sure how
much you can do because that walkway and
area is pretty narrow but yeah some sort
of walk around character that walked up
and down the length of the attraction
the length of the island quote-unquote
might be pretty cool
maybe they can make floating mountains
and the actors could be suspended for 20
months anyway
springfield so over here I want to see
something that already have docked ober
brew area of Jesus every oktoberfest is
actually enact over there isn't a filler
and yay
remember something meant this week my
mind shots and forgive me listeners
I wanted something more like that i want
to see more seasonal flavors and i also
want to see more seasonal explosion
should say any season of experience once
that land was announced everyone kept
talking about all during halloween
horror nights we could have a treehouse
of horror that there may be something
during the day for the kids it's more
like a mickey's not-so-scary event or
maybe you could go full out and actually
make it creepy and scary during the
night to that would be really great but
we can maybe do some kind of camp crusty
series of experiences or shows her
character meet-and-greets during the
summer or there's also this wonderful
simpsons holiday which I'd never knew
about before reading this article called
wacky day when all the citizens
strikeout snakes and waxing success in
town square
that's a classic didn't know about
liking this no I business so ya know I
really don't be whacking day because
that'd be kinda scary but something
along those lines to once again extended
the utility or the novelty or just a
plain old immersion of that area
yeah Simpsons already incredibly well
seemed and like you were saying they can
help it with with food and other things
i think the food in that area is some of
the most highly themed food even
rivaling harry potter in some ways I'm
actually curious and in terms of the
food court area goes for our live people
listening right now home and shower and
hopefully get updates correctly which
one of those food kiosks you know being
the frying dutchman Luigi's Lisa's
teahouse of horror which one which one
of those would you like to see we moved
maybe and what would your idea be to
replace it with something else i'm not
really sure what they have in Lisa's
teahouse horribly it's like healthy
options in there
yeah yeah exactly i feel like that would
be the first one to go in the easiest
one should two acts out of there but i'm
curious what else would go very well
right
I've watched a lot of citizens I don't
have anything about my head that would
fit perfect in there if you took out
here at Lisa's teahouse support my wife
would be very upset because she's
vegetarian and as we're looking at all
the different options where to eat she's
like I can't eat any of the ok there's
the score and leave those large
donuts are vegetarian so together with
no one thing coming back from universal
hollywood a couple weeks ago
there there through area is way more
themed like I like their spring feel
better in excuse it but i really like
the like they don't have the Dom like
huge springfield like just wallpaper
basically they have like teen walls with
like different little funny props and
stuff like they have a crusty first I
owe you and just a lot of funny
different process but I like a clown
college certificate like there's lots of
really funny easter egg from the wall
and I love to see that come to our I
know versus like interest the Springboro
murals it's actually kind of like that
you did mention that Taylor because uh
they have an ice cream parlor their
lives they did not that they do not have
in orlando right now so that's something
I and its really beautiful as well i
wish i had my pictures i did we can pop
those up but yeah there is really really
nice looking at the power plant is often
the distance to the background right
doesn't smoke or something that button
you press and everyone press the button
and send it all
well kids like pressing buttons to
adults will be a nice addition as well
kids like pressing adults but instead
joke x haha marvel superhero island here
i want to see something i would love to
see some kind of interactive element be
added here because Marvel such an
interesting little a delicious a little
anymore properties have the problem here
is that it was obviously created in the
nineties when Marvel was most synonymous
with the animated series like with the
x-men cartoon and now since then the
last nine years now we have the marvel
cinematic universe where it's much more
realistic and believable and that's kind
of a weird transition I think Marvel
Marvel universal are trying to slowly
get away from the cartoony look and try
to approach
the field universe but obviously they
can't use those actors like mrs. or
anything like that so with that said I
still want to see something where um
there's more to do and more to see and
maybe a little help push that evolution
along as far as interactive experiences
go a Harry Potter you have ones with ok
you have your tapping bracelet so here
in Marvel I want to see all the
different characters different some
items for lack of a better word that you
can purchase and where and walk around
with them and that would trigger a
different interactive experiences so
maybe ironman the culture and his hand
side the pattern that we saw a couple
weeks ago where the universal trying to
make up new rides and then they had the
art institute that you could strap into
go along this journey for there's
Captain America shield or maybe
spider-man's web shooters and then I
thought of you really really need if
they did some kind of like maybe a
projection mapping on one of the walls
or they can just make special kiosks or
whatever the case maybe you would have
people try to come together and team up
and basically be one captain america one
spider-man Iron Man d you would be of
the Avengers yourself and each item
would have a different ability to fight
off all these different guys that you
have to work together in order to
overcome that objectives the other idea
here was you can do production mapping
shows just like it at Hogwarts Hogwarts
castle here i think if you really need
if you had some kind of fight like
spider-man going against dr. to them and
they will go jump from building to
building to building all the way down
the streets and across the entire island
medium him as you were saying that I was
kind of thinking how is there not like a
photo op in Marvel superhero island of
stores hammer like similar to the sword
in the stone like that would be a
perfect photo great photo op on its own
and a great kind of name is disney is
there one there never seen that
yeah you're definitely going where is
this new companion specific that's I
love having to find things that having
to find one
uh yeah everyone fun everyone kind of
knows i like to fund comes to meeting
everyone kind of knows what I think of
marvels of Bear Island I
I just like it Carly you can see in this
picture I mean things like the giant you
know cardboard cutouts of things he
slapped on the building's not a big fan
of what the worst by far thing in that
area is the entertainment quote-unquote
of the costume characters and not
necessarily done by themselves but the
worst thing is having them on their
truck so they still do that when they
don't get their way right out on their
little training when about the yes
yeah the power wheels that's the worst
thing ever i had this this might be a
dash of hyperbole in here but it makes
me sick i would like to see them change
that up and do something with the
costume character similar to what you
were talking about mark where maybe like
there's impromptu fight around the
office around the island similar to the
way they kind of did it in universal
studios japan where they had the
Dementors come out and they kind of had
a fight using you know pre set up a
special effects built into the land to
kind of stimulate you know a wizard
fight so the Dementors would you know do
some sort of spell and that you know
blaster fire would come out somewhere I
wasn't real with you tonight
oh I mean yes all right I met but the
fakers and everyone knows that really
happened but the other version of that
night
yeah something like that where maybe
iron man comes out and shoot the
repulsor and you know it looks like
something breaks or explodes or you know
fire comes out of something like that i
think that that could be pretty cool
something along those lines there
wouldn't be a huge major infrastructure
thing obviously would take a little bit
of doing to put those special effects
insight something light a light kind of
overhaul of the area and take the
sunlight comment cutout things though
ok with syphilis good life comes so I
alex is amphitheater considered part of
marco island or to look at because that
is private location to build something
up to my grampa theater is considered to
be part of a tuna goon but that doesn't
necessarily mean it can't be something
for Marvel like they could easily just
turned out and then
and put it in to marvel Cody says

I'm an agreement when Kody and I don't
think they should add violence i think i
shall be nice and let me show hundreds
of superheroes help came out and they
all hugged each other better that stupid

I Johnson Marvel characters are great
but the power wheels need to be updated
or discontinue candles as Superman
closest it's only the best area that dot

Marvel guys I don't know why you guys
like awhile I i want to you know roll
back a little bit and say that i love
spider-man that's probably one of my top
few attractions in the entire park or
that both Lauren's really when you have
lost continent and you have to lagoon
I think I think mom's pretty low on the
priority scale don't know if I if I had
a wrecking ball and I we can drive it
into the islands of adventure and I
could take out one island and probably
to the good first okay and then I yeah
you definitely come in like a rectangle
of chuck says Marvel has the best music
i agree of that actually
well one of the best minute but they
have my favorite song in all violence is
ignorance on that link is super slow and
like the herd and you know the one that
way to have a title and that is not on
like the outlaw or anything i have two
great i have to admit I haven't really
sat down and listened to the Marvel
Sandra's was the diffuse a little bit
that I have her I do really like the
marble island soundtrack i'm going to
you too i'll just select listen to it
listen to it every article totally those

very potter obviously yeah but but as
far as like my favorite song is
definitely for multiple it
over to me last time I was at islands of
adventure and I walked into port of
entry I never picked up before positive
too busy running around I never picked
up and how the music is added to layer
by layer as you want progress through
that the island and it threw me off so
much because not used to listening to
the soundtrack on youtube like wait
what's this extra parts company tonight
walking through it really was that was
finally able to concentrate on just a
sonic aspect of the park and it really
does have a whole new dimension to it
yeah port of entry is really awesome if
you guys have never saw my blog videos

meetup I spent a lot of time in there i
really enjoy it
