How to Connect Android Phone to Car Stereo and Listen to Music on Aux Input - Duration: 1:31.

If you have a factory DVD player in your vehicle, there's a good possibility you can connect

your Android phone to the car stereo to listen to your music.

This Honda Pilot has a rear entertainment system with auxiliary inputs.

To listen to music from your Android in your car, you'll need this 3.5mm to RCA stereo

cable.

They're pretty inexpensive and handy to have around.

On the back of my center console, I have audio and video inputs.

The location of these ports might be in a different location in your vehicle.

Now take the stereo cable and insert the 3.5mm plug into the Android's headphone jack.

My cable is about 3 feet long.

Take the red and white RCA plugs and plug them into the left and right audio inputs.

Now I'll switch to the Aux input on my stereo and it's good to go!

I can enjoy music or podcasts from my Android on my hour plus commute to and from work!

And one last note, some vehicles have a built-in 3.5mm audio input so in that case you'll need

a 3.5mm to 3.5mm patch cable.

So let me show you some "behind the scenes" footage

from fitting the same kit in Volvo V50.

Again, this is not a tutorial because I do not recommend this mod.

Step 1: Proper Car Wash with Two Bucket Method - Nissan GT-R - Detailing and Car Wash Flowchart - Duration: 9:57.

What's up guys welcome back to the Detail Garage.

Now we still have the Nissan GT-R in the shop.

I'm going to go through the breakdown of our Chemical Guys Flowchart starting with the wash.

Over here I've got my two bucket method set up already.

I'm going to be using Citrus Wash & Gloss because although this car looks clean, it

has prior coatings of sealant and wax that we want to remove for a fresh start.

The Citrus Wash & Gloss is going to strip it off any previous coatings to give it a

clean finish.

To clean the rims I'm also going to use the Citrus Wash & Gloss because the brake dust

comes off super easy and the wheel has coating on it that makes it simple to clean.

So lets get started by rinsing down the whole vehicle.

Now that the car is rinsed, it is time to move on to the actual foaming process.

I have my two bucket method set up.

I've got two Dirt Traps and I'll insert them into the bucket.

The reason we use the Dirt Trap is to trap the dirt underneath the cyclones which prevents

us from dragging the dirt back on to the car.

With any traditional wash you want to start with the wheels but I'm not going to go in

depth on that.

I'm going to brush over that, I have my wheel bucket set up over here and I'm going to add

a little bit of Citrus Wash & Gloss to have extra foam as we clean.

I'll add about an ounce to my designated wash bucket.

Now we'll foam it using the pressure washer.

So with any detail you want to start with the tires.

As I mentioned before the wheels aren't super dirty so I'm not going to go into the full

wheel detail.

Just using a couple brushes with Citrus Wash & Gloss will take down any of the road grime

and brake dust.

Earlier I used the Ferret Brush to get in between the spoke and the barrel as well as

the caliper.

Now I'm using the Soft Flagged Tip Brush to take off the brake dust that is on the face

of the rim.

This is a super soft brush that will gently remove any pollutants on the face of the rim.

As you wash it's important to start from the top down this way you're not dragging dirt

over areas that you've already cleaned.

Work in straight lines this way in case you pick up a rock or stick or anything that is

going to cause a scratch, if you go in straight lines it is a lot harder to notice and a lot

easier to repair as opposed to if you had gone in circles causing swirls which is a

lot more noticeable and a lot more difficult to polish out.

Once you've been washing the car for awhile you will collect a lot of dirt on your wash

mitt, that's when you go over to your second bucket and run it down against the Dirt Trap.

This is going to help take off any of the contamination from your wash mitt keeping

your water as clean as possible.

Then come back into your clean water and get some more soap on the mitt and keep on washing.

I've just finished foaming and scrubbing the car I'm now going to rinse it off before it

starts drying.

We've just brought the GT-R inside and now we need to dry it.

To help me accomplish that I'm going to use After Wash.

This is a drying aid that will reduce the amount of water spots by breaking the surface

tension between the paint and the water.

Also to help me dry I'll be using the Gray Matter Waffle Weave Towel.

The design of this towel helps trap a lot of product a lot of water without streaking.

Whenever you get a fresh towel you want to rip off the tag so you don't create any new

scratches or swirls.

Then start picking up all the water.

I've already finished drying off the body and now I'm moving to the rims.

I changed towels because I don't want to use that towel on the rims getting it dirty or

picking up rocks from the floor and then use it on the body at a later time.

Instead I'm using these black towels because they have been designated for rims, tires,

exhaust and other dirtier areas.

It makes it easy to color coordinate so they won't be used on anything else.

I'm still using the After Wash to help pick up any last water spots and add a little bit

of shine as I dry which will make these rims look really nice.

Well guys we just finished washing the Nissan and it looks amazing.

Using the Citrus Wash & Gloss we were able to take off all the loose dirt and debris

as well as the previous coatings of glazes, waxes and sealants.

Now it's ready for the next step of the detailing process.

As I mentioned we're going through the whole Detailing Flowchart on this GT-R.

We started with the wash and next is going to be the clay.

So tune it next time when we bring the GT-R back in the shop and pull out all the impurities

that are stuck in the pores of the paint.
