Infant Car Seat Safety - Duration: 1:33.I'm Jo, I'm a certified child passenger safety technician and I work at Parkview.
This is Naya and she's going to help me
show you how to install a rear-facing infant seat.
We've decided to install this base into
the center rear seat and we decided to use the latch system.
So what we're going to do is attach the system through the
belt path and then we want to make sure that it's tight.
It should not move more than an inch from front to back
or side to side.
So I might have to put a little pressure on the seat in order to get it
tight enough.
We're gonna buckle up safe and snug here.
We want to make sure that
the shoulder harness comes from behind either at or below her shoulders
and then we're going to buckle her.
we learn to position the chest positioning clip
right at the armpit level
and then we want to make sure it's snug enough.
That's the biggest thing here is the snugness
you want to pinch here and here.
If you can pinch up then it's not tight enough
and see she does she knows she's
not safe. So now I can't pinch my fingers.
Just roll across both at the hips and at the shoulders.
Once you have the baby buckled into the seat it's very easy to
attach the seat to the base.
You should hear it click.
And then you want to make sure
that your angle is correct on your angle adjustment.
In addition you want to make sure that the handle is in the correct position.
Each car seat is different so you'll need to
read your instructions and find out which position
they want you to use in the car.

Low Cost Windshield Repair: Is Your Car a Candidate? - Duration: 1:53.Hey! Welcome to Auto Craft. Got a minute? Let's talk about car care.
Today's episode is called, "Windshield Chips; not as Tasty as Potato Chips."
Today's episode is about repair options for windshield cracks and chips,
And how much money a windshield repair can save you compared to a replacement.
Replacement can cost a couple hundred or even a few hundred dollars.
But an average repair runs around $50, which makes it a great option …
… assuming a repair is possible for the kind of damage you have.
So the first thing you want to do is examine your crack.
Long cracks usually can't be repaired, and you'll have to replace the windshield.
Or multiple cracks.
It's hard to make the windshield safe and clear again after this kind of damage.
But quite a few kinds of chips can be repaired, often for around $50 …
Like rock chips up to the size of a quarter …
And most star breaks can be repaired.
Bulls-eyes and partial bulls-eyes are usually easy.
Crack chips, dings and pits are also pretty sure fixes.
As long as it isn't directly in the driver's line of vision because the repair process
can leave minor distortions in the glass.
And part of the technician's job is to make those judgment calls to assure the repair
doesn't obstruct your vision or weaken the windshield.
If you have more severe damage, or if the windshield is cracked near an edge, you'll
probably have to replace it.
The important thing is to get it to the shop as soon as possible because once the damaged
area gets dirt in it, it's a lot harder to work with.
So please, act quickly and bring us your cracks.
Anything else, Jaden?
Any more chip or crack jokes.
Nope.
You don't have to crack the whip at me.
We'll let the chips fall where they may.
You can learn more on our blog at Autocraftinc.com.
No more wise cracks.

Top 10 CARS You Didn't Know EXISTED - Duration: 8:47.Hey YouTube, Jim here!
Welcome to Top10Archive!
Whether you're a car nut or barely know how to add windshield wiper fluid, we all
know the major basic car brands and their standard line-up of makes.
Beyond these everyday vehicles, there is a collection of cars that even those knee-deep
in engine oil may not know about.
Take a joy ride with us as we look into the top ten cars you probably didn't even know
existed.
As we start up, remember to subscribe to the channel and click the bell to receive an automatic
transmission (uh, that is, be automatically notified) whenever we upload a new video.
Afterwards, leave a comment about which car you think is the coolest in this list!
10.
Partial Zero-Emissions Vehicle Hey c'mon guys, are we cheating with this
one?
I mean, it's not really one specific car we're talking about, but a category of vehicle
that, believe it or not, is currently available in well-known brands.
Partial Zero-Emissions Vehicles emit no evaporative emissions.
We like to call them "green machines" for their ability to reduce smog, but PZEVs
don't completely eradicate the burning of gasoline.
Add on the fact that they're more expensive to manufacture and most U.S. states only recently
started adopting the California Air Resources Board standards.
Beyond the 2017 models, PZEV will be removed as a classification and will simply be technology
worked into future car models.
9.
The Mia Unless you live in the heart of a city, especially
one in France, the Mia probably slipped under your radar.
Despite weighing only 1,785 lbs (810kg), the tiny car isn't built for long-distance travel,
though it is known for being a zero-emissions vehicle.
Don't expect to pack your entire family in the Mia as it's regulated for a driver
and, behind them, three passengers.
It may be far from a practical car for suburban living, but if not for the financial troubles
that ceased production in December of 2013, it's likely the Mia would have popped up
in more cities around the globe.
8.
Laraki Fulgura When Laraki was established in 1999, the Moroccan
company sought to develop only the most revered in high-performance, luxury sports cars.
Built on a 1991 Lamborghini Diablo chassis, the manufacturer's first proposed production
car, the Fulgura, was clocked at top speeds of around 217 mph (350 km/h) and sported a
6.0L V12 engine.
Though it showed promise, the Fulgura went through various iterations before being pushed
aside for the 2005 concept, the Laraki Borac.
7.
Maybach Exelero Jay-Z fans may recognize the Exelero from
his "Lost One" video.
Birdman followers probably know it best as the high-performance Maybach-Motorenbau car
that the rapper eventually couldn't afford.
Casual drivers… well, likely don't know it at all!
Meant to mimic and upgrade its streamlined sports cars from the 1930s, the German manufacturer
created the stylish Exelero, complete with a V12 engine and 700 hp.
Costing roughly $8 million (£6.1 million), the Exelero was a one-off for Maybach, built
for Fulda Tyres and designed during a competition at the Pforzheim Polytechnic Department of
Transportation Design.
At top speeds, the prototype reached 218 mph (350 km/h).
6.
Lamborghini Diablo GT1 Stradale Everybody knows Lamborghini, but the Diablo
GT1 Stradale was a rare build put out by the Italian automaker.
Powered by 665 hp and weighing around 2,500 lb (1,133 kg), the GT1 was conceptualized
in 1996 when Lamborghini tasked France's Signes Advanced Technology with building a
competitive Diablo using a V12 engine with modified injectors and longer stroke.
From the interior to the exterior, the GT1 was the perfect hybrid of a classic Lamborghini
and a car built for the tracks.
Unfortunately, the cost of the build kept the GT1 from actually entering the Grand Traverse
Circuit.
5.
Peel P50 Wait a minute … Are you kidding me?
This is a car, right?
Am I not being tricked into talking about some toy like it's a viable automobile?
Huh, would you look at that, the Peel P50 is one tiny car.
Actually, it's the world's smallest production car, as verified by the Guinness World Records
in 2010, looking more like a modified big-wheeler with a fiberglass frame.
Peel Engineering Company introduced the three-wheeled microcar in 1962, hoping it would take off
as a city car.
Though production ceased in 1965, things picked up again in 2010 and the P50 was back on the
road as an electric and gas-fueled car.
4.
The Maserati MC12 With only 50 produced and a price tag of over
$670,000, don't expect to see an MC12 zooming by you on the road.
Built on an Enzo Ferrari, but designed to be longer, wider, and taller, the MC12 was
clocked at a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), slightly slower than the Enzo.
The intention of the original MC12 was to fuel the fire for an FIA GT Championship model,
and in 2004, the MC12 GT1 raced at Imola, Italy and Oschersleben, Germany.
Though the MC12 is a beauty, especially in its extremely limited black variant, critics
were a little hard on the vehicle for its size, handling, and pricing.
3.
Phantom Corsair So, maybe you've never heard of the Corsair
because it never went into production, but when the prototype was unveiled in 1938, it
turned heads.
Designed by Rust Heinz and Maurice Schwartz, the futuristic Corsair lacked door handles,
which were replaced by push-button automatic doors.
What more do you need?
At top speed, the Corsair was clocked at 115 mph (185 km/h) thanks partially to its aerodynamic
design.
Though the intention was to produce a limited number of the $24,000 car, after Heinz death
in 1939, the plan never came to fruition.
Oh, and that's $24,000 in 1938.
That's equivalent to about $416,000 today.
2.
Vanda Electric's Dendrobium Dendrobium may sound like a rare mineral,
but it's actually the first attempt at a four-wheeled vehicle by Vanda Electric, a
Singaporean electric mobility company.
Still in the concept stages, as Vanda Electric aims to start production in 2020, the Dendrobium
is an electric vehicle believed to be able to exceed speeds of 200 mph, which would put
the current fastest electric car to shame.
When it does finally go into production, you can bet this won't be in abundance on the
road.
Despite the minimalist design, the Dendrobium will likely break bank accounts across the
world.
1.
Rinspeed sQuba Ever really need to get somewhere but found
yourself blocked by a body of water with no time to go around it?
It's in these moments you might wish you had the Rinspeed sQuba, a Swiss-made car that
can traverse land at speeds of 77mph (123 km/h) and cruise underwater at 1.8 mph (2.8
km/h).
You probably never heard of the sQuba because even Rinspeed CEO Frank M Rinderknecht is
aware that both the design and price tag will appeal to only the super-rich.
A permanent convertible top, diving regulators, water jets, and rear propellers make the sQuba
a safe and functional four-wheeled submersible… built strictly with the wealthy in mind.
Thanks for watching!

How To Wash Dirty Off Road Trucks! - Chemical Guys Car Care - Duration: 9:32.Today, our buddy Kenny dropped off his F250 which just got back from Johnsons Valley.
As you can see it is completely thrashed.
Covered in dirt and grime so we're going to show you how to wash without installing swirls
or scratches.
We're going to use our brand new soap, Tough Mudder which is designed for adding extra
lubrication and extra slick feel so that you won't scratch the paint.
A lot of you guys drive off road on ATV's, trucks like this or campers that get covered
in dirt and debris which can scratch if you're not careful while washing.
Javier and I are going to show you how to do this by starting off with the dirtiest
area which is the wheels and then we'll move on to this black paint.
Alright, we are going to attack this dirty wheel using Sticky Citrus Wheel Gel along
with the Easy Reach Wheel Brush and the Blue Stiffy Brush to get rid of all that debris off.
Using the pressure washer we will rinse off the wheel but we won't use any pressure so
that we can prevent the installation of scratches caused by this heavy abrasive material.
We're going to get started with a couple sprays on the tire and rim, let the chemical sit
for a moment so they can do their job.
Also giving the brush a few sprays.
We'll start at the top and gently agitate all the dirt away, you want to let the chemical
do the work.
Getting that brown gunk off, all that brake dust and all that hell that this wheel has
gone through.
So once you get to the midway point, go to your rinse bucket to release any dirt and
brake dust from the brush to prevent it from getting back onto the wheel.
A couple more sprays on the brush and now back at the top and working around the other
half of the wheel get that wheel looking good.
Now we're going to use the Blue Stiffy Brush and again spray the tire.
Letting the chemical do the work and scrub the tire.
Now we'll rinse it off.
Gently cleansing away the debris to prevent the installation of new scratches.
So we're going to finish off the remaining three tires and then go straight into washing
this big truck getting it all cleaned up.
Javier and I just finished cleaning these wheels and they look awesome.
You saw all that brown run off it is a mix of brake dust, road grime and filth that was
degrading the finish.
Now we're going to move on to the body.
This is a Ford F250 which is a large vehicle and it's black.
So, we need to take our time so that we don't scratch it because it will show any kind of
imperfection.
Using Tough Mudder to add extra lubrication.
For those of you guys who go off road and get your vehicle all muddy, this is the way
to go to make sure you don't add new scratches or swirls to your paint.
We're going to start by rinising it from top to bottom because that is where the heavier
dirt is.
Javier mentioned that the name of the game with detailing is to make the car look better
than it did before you touched it, so by adding swirls and scratches it is degrading the finish.
Again we are going to take our time to insure that we don't harm the paint.
Gently rinsing it down and then foaming it to emulsify the abrasive dirt that is on the
paint.
Emulsifying it will encapsulate the particles so that it glides right off the surface without
scratching the finish.
So, Javier lets get started by rinising it down then we can move on to the foaming process.
Now that we are done foaming it, we'll start scrubbing it using the Chenille Wash Mitts.
Javier is going to take the flat surfaces and I will take care of the side panels.
Using Tough Mudder we will safely remove any grime that remains on the truck.
Even after rinsing and foaming there is still some grime that is stuck in the pores of the
paint which in some cases require clay or polish to remove.
In this case, we are gently removing it all using Tough Mudder.
As you saw this truck was really beat, so we are frequently going to have to visit our
second bucket to rinse off the mitt.
As we run it against the Dirt Trap it is forcing any filth from the noodles of the mitt underneath
the cones and that is going to prevent it from coming back on to the vehicle.
Again that is going to prevent the istallation of fresh scratches and swirls.
Now we'll go back to the fresh water bucket then returning back to the vehicle working
in straight lines so we don't induce swirls.
Like I always say, a swirl is a lot easier to notice compared to a straight line scratch,
so by going in straight lines we prevent the installation of swirls.
As you guys can see we have rinsed off the spent foam and dirt.
The last step, we are going to dry it using Woolly Mammoth Towels and After Wash because
this is a large vehicle and we definitely don't want water spots.
After Wash is sprayed directy on the surface and it is helping the water bead off.
It is breaking the surface tension between the paint and the water which prevents it
from drying.
If you guys want to learn more about these products go to our website chemicalguys.com.
If you like this truck or this video be sure to give it a thumbs up and we'll see you next
time right here in the Detail Garage.
