We can challenge the foundations of violence against women - Duration: 1:43.To end men's violence against women
we need to challenge the foundations of violence.
These are the attitudes, actions and social norms
that devalue and discriminate against women.
Violence against women begins with gender inequality.
Sexist behaviour creates a culture where it's ok
to joke about and belittle women.
A third of Victorians have witnessed sexism towards women.
It's time we stand up and say "That's not OK".
Gender inequality restricts womens rights to independence,
leadership roles, and equal pay.
Australian women are over represented as part time workers
in low paid industries.
Traditional gender roles limit women and men
and reinforce gender inequality.
8 out of 10 women aged 18 to 24
were harassed on the street in the past year.
Threats and harrassements limit a women's ability
to challenge gender inequality.
1 in 3 women have experienced physical violence
since the age of 15.
Violence is not always visible.
It is about using power and control.
Gender equality creates a level playing field
which does not support violence against women.
In Australia, one women is murdered a week
by a partner or former partner.
To end men's violence against women
we need to challenge these foundations of violence.
We can all do this by challenging gender inequality.

When We Are Faithless, He Remains Faithful - Duration: 2:00.here's a trustworthy saying in other words here's the saying that's been
floating around in the early church and he says this is a good one
let's keep reminding ourselves of this it's a trustworthy saying if we died
with him we shall also live with him if we endure we will also reign with him
now if we disowned him there's a very strong word that is we intentionally say
I want no part of you he will also disown us in other words these are
strong words if I say I do not want any part of you God will not force us to go
to heaven with him he will not force our salvation upon us marriage which is the
analogy of our relationship with God is a partnering trust relationship and so
if we disown him he does not force us into what we would consider to be
an abusive feigned love relationship someone doesn't want the marriage and
the other person is saying I will make you married no matter what that turns
God into a dastardly Dan grab by the hair carry you away but no if we disown him
he disowns us but look at this if we are faithless which is I struggle in my
faith I have times where my faith goes blank and dark where I'm like Abram I go
from a faith that credits righteousness to me
to then how will I know I don't know if I can trust I'm in the dark on this if
we're faithless he remains faithful because he cannot disown himself God's
character towards us is faithful love he is the faithful one whether we are
always or not he is the faithful one and as Jesus would say if you just have
faith the size of a mustard seed that gets this gets everything started in
fact that accomplishes great things

We Unboxed a Tiny 'Seinfeld' Set - Duration: 2:56.Hi, I'm Laura.
And I'm Heather.
And we love 'Seinfeld' here at Mashable.
We've actually done 'Seinfeld' videos in the past.
We did a 'Seinfeld' set
where we made a little version of the apartment
and then we put hamsters in it.
That's how much we love 'Seinfeld'.
The team over at SeinfeldSetReplica.com
Loves 'Seinfeld' more than we do.
So they created this true-to-life,
very small
'Seinfeld' apartment replica.
And it's truly amazing to behold.
So Heather and I are going to unbox it.
This is a real honor, thank you, Laura.
So something that's really cool that comes with this set replica
is that there is an actual piece of a 'Seinfeld' door.
And it comes in the set.
Oh, here it is!
It's an actual piece of the door.
"An authentic piece of the door from the 'Seinfeld' archives"
It's the perfect size for a college dorm room
or like my father's man cave I think.
Oh, this is a good man cave thing.
Although, women like 'Seinfeld', too.
We have the actual set out.
So far the pieces that come actually attached are...
We've got the couch which has a very life-like feel.
Yeah, it's a little sunk in which I really aprpeciate.
I like that it's authentically lived in.
We have over the little fruit bowl.
And his little kettle.
What I would like to see is his boxes of cereal
which I see over here. They're right there!
So the set here is actually very cool.
It is like really a set replica.
This is like what you would've seen, apparently,
if you had been on on set in the '90s shooting 'Seinfeld'.
Oooh, does he have a desk? Yes.
The original Macintosh...
which Christina (Warren) lost her mind about
when they didn't have it at the Hulu one.

Together We Pray - Duration: 6:30.This year the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland
called on Church members to pray for the future of the Church
so the Rev Dr Martin Scott, Secretary to the Council of Assembly
and the Moderator the Rt Rev Dr Derek Browning
came to Duddingston Kirk to launch the new initiative Together We Pray
So the General Assembly this year issued a call to the church as a whole
to engage in prayer and specifically to engage in prayer for God to renew us
about the future of the church and in particular about the preparation of the
strategic plan which we're working on at the moment.
I guess that raises for us a number of questions around prayer and I want to
ask you as Moderator: is prayer important to you as a minister and as the Moderator?
Prayer is absolutely essential to everything that I do.
My own personal practice is I pray first thing in the morning
I certainly pray last thing at night and I find what prayer does is it gives me a
steadying point at the beginning and at the end of the day but I can look to the
future and I can also review what what has happened. I find also as Moderator
you've got a much broader picture of what's going on not just in the church
but in the wider world and it's very helpful I think for me personally and I
think for the rest of the church, to have those moments when things
happen people say things or do things events take place to bring those to
God and so you bring a spiritual deeper tone to something that's going on.
I think what I find prayer does so very often is, in a world that is so
noisy and so busy it gives us those moments simply
to be still and to calm down and prayer finally for me isn't just only about the
words that are said it's also about populating those words with periods of
silence and that's so very important in our noisy world.
Some people say that they like to pray in silence
not use words at all. There seem to be different ways in which people pray.
I think yes and we pray people will take the silent moments
I mean we're sitting here in this beautiful garden in the middle of Edinburgh
A lot of people will find prayer as a spiritual exercise in the
open space is so much easier where there seem to be no boundaries but equally
sometimes people in small rooms and quiet places find those times
where they can sit quietly and reflect more quietly. I think also we see a
great rise in interest in what is broadly called spirituality. I notice
particularly in recent years and something we saw at the General Assembly
where there was an affirmation about the point of pilgrimage to be pilgrimage as
a kind of prayer walk where you're moving and praying you're observing
you're looking you're listening that you're engaging with the world round
about you and for me, prayer isn't just an interior action. It's something where
you're looking to the outside as well. The more you observe the more you listen
the more you hear, the more you're engaging with the world of which God has set you
The question many people will have is does it make any difference?
For me several key things come to mind when you raise that question. Prayer isn't about telling
God what God already knows. Prayer is a dialogue or if you're praying
in a group it's more than that and it's about us tuning into what God is
already saying to the world, so that's maybe the most important thing for me.
The other important thing is prayer is not about armwrestling the Almighty into
submission and I think so often when people are praying sometimes
what are called arrow prayers - you know please God may it always be sunny or
honour important events I don't know that the prayer does that kind of
thing and when I think about prayer it's a bit like one of those old-fashioned
radios where people have got a dial (I'm maybe giving my age away here)
on a radio and you're tuning and tuning and tuning until you hear and God hears
and you've connected together and that to me is what prayer is about.
It isn't telling God what to do or God what to be it's about us becoming more aware of
what God is thinking about what God is already planning and sharing with our
world so the we're in tune with the broader thinking of God and indeed the
broader thinking of people round about us and I suppose that's
the other thing that the prayer does it's not simply God but it's also
encompassing the world within which we live and what people are saying, thinking, feeling and doing
how do we find a place. So it helps us sometimes to order our thoughts
and then to motivate our actions.
Thank you. We hope that you will join us in
this event of Prayer across the whole year there are several things that are
going to be happening and resources that will be available if you look on the
Church of Scotland website under the heading Together We Pray you'll find
that the resources are available there which will perhaps stimulate your
thinking about prayer and help you to be involved. We're having a National Day of
Prayer on Saturday 25th of November and you may wish to
have an event in your local church or perhaps encourage your presbytery
to hold such an event and packs will be available, they will be sent to
every church and to every presbytery to help you in planning for that.
You don't have to wait until the 25th of November, you can start right now and we thank Derek
for taking the time to share with us in launching this event of prayer
which will run throughout the year.

All We Ever Had | Short Film - Duration: 2:43.Up the hill in the foggy mist
the clouds breathe, they come and go
and infinity seems too slow
in this vastness of endless green
along the meandering paths of broken dreams
Melancholy lakes remind me of your old ways
of how you used to brighten up my days
my heart aches
cries and then breaks
I can feel the wisdom of the woods
the lonely shadows surrounding me, haunting me
But each step I take is one step too late I
I ask myself
where am I?
Was it fate?
Because no matter how hard I try
no matter how far I walk
I'm stuck in one place
as if time has suddenly stopped for ever
The timeless reflections on the clear blue water
remind me of your warm laughter
But you are gone
gone
gone
My heart wishing that the past could be undone
Rising up to the sky
the majestic mountains
the breeze, the touch, the air, my hand
They say you can forgive
but not forget
The hardest part is to accept what is
Standing here with no fear
the cloudy mind becomes clear
Inspiration comes along
It is nothing
but a sad song
Slowly the pain dissolves
You
are the one I loved the most
Thank you for all the memories
the good and the bad
I promise
to keep all we ever had

What Happens If We Bring the Sun to Earth? - Duration: 7:01.What would happen if you were to bring a tiny piece of the Sun to earth
Short answer you die long answer it depends which piece of the Sun
Like most of the matter in the universe our Sun is neither solid liquid or gas but plasma
Plasma is when stuff is so hot that the nuclei and electrons can separate and flow around freely, which creates a goo like substance
So you can imagine our Sun as an extremely big spherical ocean of very hot goo
The deeper you go the denser and weirder the goo becomes
So let's bring three samples each the size of a house to our lab here on earth and see what happens
First sample the chromosphere
The chromosphere is the atmosphere of the Sun a layer of sparse gas up to
5,000 kilometers deep that's covered in a forest of plasma spikes that can be almost as big as Earth
It's pretty hot here between 6,000 and 20,000 degrees Celsius, but if we brought a solvent of it to earth
We're not really getting our money's worth in the area
Where we take our sample the chromosphere is over a million times less dense than air so compared to our atmosphere at sea level
It's basically the same as bringing the vacuum of space down to earth
The moment our sample arrives it would immediately
Be crushed by Earth's atmospheric pressure and implode
Air would rush to fill the vacuum and use as much energy as 12 kilograms of TNT in the process
This creates a high pressure shockwave, which shatters glass ruptures ear drums
And maybe some internal organs. If you're standing too close it could kill you so you'd better keep your distance
let's go deeper
A second sample the photosphere
Beneath the chromosphere is the glowing surface of the Sun: the photosphere, which produces the light we see.
It's covered in a grid of a million hot spots called granules each of them about as big as the United States and over
5,000 degrees Celsius
These granules are the tops of convective columns churning gas that brings the heat up from the center of the Sun to its surface.
In these columns a few hundred kilometres down we take our second plasma sample it has about the same pressure as our atmosphere on earth
Though still much less dense for there its heat supports it so it won't implode
Our sphere now carries twice as much energy as much as 25 kilograms of TNT that this time as heat
For a dazzling instant this plasma would glow with a million times the brightness of the Sun seen from Earth
Instantly lighting fires throughout our lab, but a few milliseconds later. Those fires are all that's left
The plasma has cooled to harmless gas floating up from the flaming ruins
What if we go deeper?
Third sample The radiative zone
Here the plasma is about two million degrees Celsius, and so dense and tightly packed that it creates a sort of maze for itself
Energy in the form of photons tries to escape
But has to wander for hundreds of thousands of years bouncing endlessly from particle to particle until it eventually finds an exit
Bringing matter from here to our lab is what experts call a very bad idea
as soon as it arrives in our lab the extreme pressure that holds the plasma tightly together is gone and
The material explodes with the power of a thermonuclear weapon our lab as well as the city around it will be destroyed in an instant
On the bright side there won't be any radioactive fallout
With our lab destroyed we can abandon the illusion that we're trying to do any science today. What if we go much much deeper?
Last sample The Core
Here in the central 1% of the star we find a third of the sun's mass
The matter here is compressed by the weight of the entire star above it in the center of the core
The temperature is 15 million degrees
hot enough to make helium by smashing together hydrogen powering the Sun by nuclear fusion.
In billions of years after the death of the Sun this core will remain as a white dwarf.
If we brought a sample of it to earth it would cause a lot of inconvenience
The biggest nuclear weapon ever detonated had an energy of 40 megatons of TNT or a cube the size of the Empire State Building
Our sample has the equivalent of 4000 megatons
This is four billion tons of TNT or a cube one point three kilometers high
To give you a sense of scale this is the cube inside, Manhattan
Once the sphere arrives on earth this super dense matter expands instantly and creates an explosion with the force of well
The Sun
If we get the sample in Paris in the morning the citizens of London would see what looks like a second sunrise
But one that gets brighter and brighter and hotter and hotter until London burns to ashes.
In a radius of about 300 kilometres around the blast everything would be burnt
The shockwave would travel around the earth multiple times
Most buildings in Central Europe would be flattened eardrums would rupture and windows break across the continent
The explosion would be apocalyptic
possibly humans civilization ending.
If humans did survive. We could count on the dust blown into the atmosphere to create a small ice age
So if there is one tiny bright side it would be that the explosion might be an effective way to control
human-caused climate change for a few decades
While this is definitely a good thing all in all we conclude that we should not try to bring the Sun to earth
We've made a lot of questionable assumptions in this video, but our maths is real if you're like us
And you enjoy using the power of math to calculate
Absurd ways to destroy stuff you may be interested in all the other things you can do with maths for example
You could calculate how to mine mercury for silicon to build a Dyson Sphere,
determine how long it will take the Sun to burn out or simply do your taxes.
But as much as we love explaining these things the best way to learn anything is by doing it yourself

the fact that North Korea wants to negotiate on nuclear ...

it should be a well-known fact but it's not the only reason the ...
u.s. is the main dominant ...

would reset the world's Reserve currency system this ...
is a major Game Changer that directly cuts out the US dollar ...
and we have already seen that conomic effects of this ...
news with the US dollar falling shortly after this and to show ...
the United States that they mean business and that China ...
will not allow the United States to invade North Korea ...
that this is just an escalation of conflicts that have been ...
happening. In the United States in China ...
for many years now China has now held a military exercise to ...
quote supposedly fend off a surprise attack along the ...
North Korean border showing their military prowess and of ...
course doing more saber-rattling now we've been ...
covering the US petro-dollar for a very long time since it's ...
key to understanding u.s. foreign policy and not what ...
the mainstream media tells you to believe we made a full ...
comprehensive video some time ago talking about when ...
the Chinese decided to have their currency the one back by ...
gold which we saw is an escalation to this bigger ...
economic War that's happening and now with them ...
deciding to trade Royal with that currency the bigger ...
question has to be asked will this bring that end of the u.s. Petro..
Turn in short after my research I don't think that's ...
quite yet possible unless the Chinese are able to establish ...
a better relationship with Saudi Arabia and break the ...
US Saudi Alliance that has been working in cooperation ...
with each other ever since Henry Kissinger was able to ...
work out a deal with Saudi Arabia that has them trading ...
and selling loyal on the US dollar but I would expect some ...
kind of economic hit on the US dollar and its purchasing ...
power moving forward rather hopefully happy and positive news oh no.
Sorry we're also learning in the United Kingdom that ...
traces of 123 pesticides including those linked to ...
cancer hormone disruption and damage to the brain ...
development have been found in fresh produce Supply to two ...
primary school children through government schemed ...
aimed at promoting healthy eating habits know ever since ...
factory farming was introduced to the world Racine ...
more pesticides used in our fruits and vegetables which is ...
a way for a lot of these big farming companies to make ...
more profit have less food waste because less food is ...
being eaten Away by bugs and in exchange for that there ...
are some damaging effects.
Yeah yeah that that's not really good news well at least ...
we have water right nope as her just finding out from a new ...
study that tested tap water all around the world they're ...
showing how billions of people globally are drinking water ...
contaminated by plastic particles with 83%
of samples found to be polluted the United States has ...
the highest contamination rate at 94%
with plastic fibers found in tap water sample that sites ...
including Congress buildings the EPA.
Trump Tower in other location of course plastic and water ...
creates an estrogen mimickers and other you know ...
just has it is damaging effects on your human body and now ...
some good news if you have some post-traumatic stress ...
disorder will you know from your food and water supply ...
being poisonous people argue over statues another ...
meaningless mimical things that have no effect on your life ...
though the FDA just granted a breakthrough status for ...
Ecstasy with its effects on post-traumatic stress disorder ...
ecstasy was actually used by the FDA and trial runs on ...
roughly 200 to 300 patients with severe post-traumatic ...
stress disorder with the results that showed a ...
remarkable Improvement in most patients with 61%
reporting no post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms ...
after 2 months and 68% of the patients being PTSD ...
free after year and now the fda's proceeding with a third ...
breakthrough trial run to actually may make it legal to ...
have medical ecstasy to fix and cure post-traumatic ...
stress. Shorter on the market the ...
FDA since you know they're okay with the party drug ...
ecstasy but not marijuana for some reason which still denies ...
medical marijuana to US veterans even with their own ...
government studies showing how legal marijuana is ...
reducing the number of teens who use marijuana the ...
number of convictions and of course addictions but that ...
probably has no connection at all to the prison industrial ...
complex being a big business in some states arresting ...
people for using the plant which gets us into the next ...
story in a very nice segue of the Utah nurse that was ...
recently arrested denying police officers out of Utah ...
hospital to draw blood from a patient without a warrant or ...
his consent she of course was assaulted and arrested for ...
following the law and now we're learning from a ...
whistleblower police officer what could have been the real ...
cause and motivation between this unlawful and disgusting ...
act committed by the Salt Lake City Police Department ...
as we're learning how the police and Salt Lake City Utah ...
are forced to make five arrests a day now this is very ...
personal issue for me especially.
Sing a New York City seeing this Unwritten quota on police ...
officers to write tickets and arrest people that I have seen ...
personally leads to gross violations and misconduct by ...
police officers and yeah I was a victim of that too I got ...
arrested in ticketed for the most of seeing offences and ...
I've seen people who your New York City get tickets ...
because they have a coffee on the subway I see people ...
dragged to court because they walked into Central Park ...
at midnight I seen people find in ticketed for moving too fast ...
in the New York City subway system or riding their bike on ...
a sidewalk countless numbers of times and this personally ...
pisses me off because as we know the job of a police officer ...
is already extremely difficult deal.
What's some of the worst aspects of our society but to ...
make that situation worse by establishing quotas and ...
pressure on them I should make it very clear to everyone ...
watching that there's a direct correlation with generating ...
revenue for the state and sending people who don't ...
need to be there to jail too which is another booming ...
business inside of the United States since we have more ...
people are incarcerated here than anywhere else in the ...
world this could be one of the reasons why this police officer ...
who violated the law most likely won't be facing any ...
charges and now hospitals like the one we've been ...
highlighting in Utah have to set up a policy where they ...
banned police officers from contact with nurse after the ...
latest disgusting video in Utah came out so yeah that's the ...
news for the day I hope you found it useful to be informed ...
about this stuff if you did subscribe state to your going ...

CLA and Fat Loss - Here We Go Again. - Duration: 3:40.C L A, short for conjugated linoleic acid, is yet another trending supplement claimed
to burn fat and help you lose weight. CLA itself is a trans fat, albeit naturally
occurring unlike the manufactured types deemed dangerous for our health.
28 different isomer forms of CLA exists, but for fat loss, only two of the more heavily
researched forms, t-10 and t-11 CLA, are touted for its potential benefits.
t-11 CLA has the potent ability to bind and activate the receptor PPAR alpha, which is
believed to increase fat burning in the liver. t-10, on the other hand, seems to inhibit
the function PPARy, which controls triglyceride formation within fat cells.
Pair activation of PPAR alpha and inhibition of PPARy, along with other minor mechanisms,
the supposition of CLA being an effective fat burner and weight loss supplement have
run rampant. But of course, none of it matters if the actual
results do not reflect it. And in summary, CLA research gets a bit…
flabby… when it comes to these claims. Some of the scientific literature do report
CLA increasing fat and weight loss, especially with a mixture of both t-10 and t-11. However,
almost all cases were reported insignificant results. The most weight loss attributed to
CLA was observed in a 2011 study that amounted a total of 1.13 kilograms, or 2 and a half
pounds, of weight loss over the span of… 4 months. Most studies noted little to no
loss and, in some cases, weight gain. It's also important to note that the minimal
weight loss results were found primarily in overweight and obese subjects. T-10 CLA seems
to play the largest role in these cases. However, t-10 has also been connected to adverse health
effects, like increased fatty liver, inflammation, and insulin resistance, dangerous issues that
are amplified in heavier individuals. For those in a bit more shape, a 2002 study
found no performance nor ergogenic value for resistance-trained individuals taking CLA.
And honestly, that's really all there is to CLA as of right now, even though it has
been heavily researched. It's fat and weight loss benefits just aren't that great.
However, one potential saving grace is that CLA might promote fullness, or satiety, which
can mean eating fewer calories per day. A 2016 study showed that drinking a smoothie
mixed with 5 grams of CLA delayed lunch 40 minutes longer than a control group. Alkong
with that, the CLA group also consumed a whopping 500 calories FEWER per day.
Unfortunately, the research has yet to be replicated. And one can argue that other unwanted
factors might be in play, considering that CLA intolerance has also been reported, invoking
events of upset stomach, constipation, and diarrhea. Not exactly issues worth dealing
with for the sake of losing weight. Until more research can definitively support
the satiety efficacy with CLA, there's only one way to sum everything up:
When it comes to fat and weight loss, CLA, based on the current research, is a CL-nay…
And I should stop trying to make puns. What are your thoughts on CL-nay? Worth trying
at least? Better off saving your money on real food? Let me know in the comments. As
always, thank you for watching!

We Tested 100 Drugstore Concealers To Find Our 5 Favorites | Beauty | Refinery29 - Duration: 7:30.Hi, guys! I'm senior beauty editor, Lexy Lebsack.
And we're here in Los Angeles
with a lot of concealers and celebrity and editorial
makeup artist, Andre Sarmiento.
Hi, guys!
I have been following your career
for many years now and one of the reasons is that you
do skin perfect.
–Thank you. —It's glowy.
It's pristine.
It's highlighted, and contoured, and perfect,
but it's so natural looking.
Thank you so much.
So Andre worked with celebrities like
Kate Bosworth and…
Nicola Peltz.
Brittany Snow.
I'm really lucky that I get to kind of be the hands that
kind of manifest the things
that they like see on their faces.
So we tested over a hundred drugstore concealers
from thirteen different brands.
And we really did.
No.
My hand is raw.
We really did.
So in testing all the concealers,
I think we had four kind of main guidelines that I
think really define what the best ones were for us.
And I think that was luminosity, tone,
applicator, and blendability.
Alright, so let's go to our first pick.
Alright our first pick, you guys,
is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser.
This is great if you have dark circles
and you really, really, really want to brighten
them with confidence that they're going
to stay covered because it lasts a really
long time.
And as you can see, it's just so nice.
It's like I'm almost rubbing cream into—
It's so nice.
—into my hand.
But it also sets, so it's going to wear well.
It's not like this super, super, super creamy
product that is going to fade or crease on
you.
I feel like this is almost giving me YSL Toucheeclat vibes.
Yeah, for sure.
It does.
It's that kind of vibe.
Variety.
Brightening.
You know, really luminous.
That it just seems to pop light right into your face.
Sarah, do you want to come get your makeup done?
Okay guys, so we're going to do a little bit of
the Maybelline Age Rewind.
And then you can take a brush or your finger
and kind of just blend that in.
What is our second pick?
Alright, our second pick is from Physician's Formula.
It's the #InstaReady Full Coverage Concealer,
which is very now.
This name…
I'm sorry.
So, I was shocked at how good this one was.
Just pumping it, guys, I think you can tell
the coverage that's in there just from a
single pump.
And what's really cool is they give you these
little blenders.
As you can see, it just blends so nicely.
And with the sponge,
—it's really giving you that airbrush finish. —It's really pretty.
And it's a nice moisturizing texture as well.
But it really feels like it has grip
on your skin, so it doesn't feel like it's going
to go away immediately.
It's really, really, really nice.
And yeah, I can't say enough about having
a little blender sponge.
And another cool thing, guys,
the tip is beveled so you can kind of
really get into a corner.
It's hard to get in there with your finger.
Not to mention that it's a bit cleaner to
go with a little sponge and more precise.
This definitely gave it some points,
this extra little sponge.
But as you can see, guys,
the quality is there and the coverage is there.
Alright, guys, number three
is L'Oréal Infallible Pro Glow Concealer.
And this is…
I think a really amazing universal concealer,
particularly if you love glowing radiant skin.
Definitely if you are someone who loves matte finish,
this probably isn't for you.
But, it gives great coverage.
It has amazing staying power
while still remaining glowy.
Oh!
Look at that.
It's so luminous.
And this is a great thing about this range
is they have a color that looks good on my
skin, which I love of course, you know.
And I'm sure lots of you out there will love.
But you can see,
it's so luminous and just the texture is so…
It's so nice and light.
—so pretty.
Tiffany, do you want to come
and try some concealers out with me?
I absolutely do.
So I'm just going to take a little bit
and just with my brush here.
See, guys, with just very little product,
I'm able to brighten up her skin and brighten
up under her eyes.
So you can really get that coverage
and still have things look like skin.
So number four, you guys, is by Almay.
It is the Age Essentials Concealer.
And I've heard you guys have had
a lot of Almay products in videos.
Just going to call this out real quick.
Almay did not sponsor this.
We're not in bed with Almay.
They just happen to be the one
brand that's been in every… this is the third video that
—they're in, which says something. —That's really cool.
Yeah. Look at this guy.
It's just so pretty.
And it's just great if you have drier skin.
Great, if you have dryness around your eyes
or if you have crepiness around your eyes.
Because this is really going to offer you that
kind of moisture.
I have to admit.
I was a little bit shocked because
the ones at the drugstore that are the twist-up bullets,
I'm always like…
Yeah, you guys, definitely…
…not going to be good.
Some of it…
... dry or weird or cakey.
Yeah.
This one's so nice.
Some of the bullets we tried, guys, we're like…
I'm sorry to say were probably
among the worst of the bunch.
Not the most non-usable but this is wow.
Not all of them, but some of them.
But some of them, yeah.
Look, guys, it's really absorbent
to my skin and it still has that healthy glow
and skin feel.
Really cool.
So number five pick is
super exciting because it's…
Yeah, really cool.
…from a really amazing brand that we know
makes good concealers, but it's super innovative.
Innovative, yeah.
So, you guys, this is from Iman.
This is the CC Correct & Cover
Powder to Creme Concealer.
Powder to creme.
That's right, guys.
I did not read that backwards.
So I love Iman and obviously,
they are known for their range of colors for inclusivity
of all skins.
It's a little container that has powder inside of it.
It's flip top, we take it off, right?
So here you go.
As you can see, I'm sprinkling powder onto my hand.
Set that down.
Take my finger and look at that guys.
It turns into cream concealer from the...
—powder particles. —It's so crazy.
Isn't that wild?
How are we supposed to apply it?
It seems to be activated best
by application with a finger.
And so if you really clean your hands,
this actually ends up being such a sanitary way
to apply your concealer.
Alright, guys.
We have our next model, Asia.
Asia, do you want to come over here?
Oh, it's so cool.
Isn't that crazy?
So can kind of start here if we want
and start creating a little bit of a highlight.
Do coverage kind of everywhere.
It's a really great universal concealer type product.
Oh my gosh! That was all five.
I hope you guys are excited about trying some
of these products because they are really cool.
A bunch of these are coming home with me.
Yeah.
This was so much fun.
Yeah, oh my god.
I had such a blast going through all these
concealers with you.
Me too.
I would do it many more times.
Woo!
Alright, you're joining the team.
Okay, so where can people find you online?
I'm @andremakeup on all social media,
Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram.
And we'll catch you on the next one, guys.
Thank you!
Bye!

Respiration in Plants - Why should we not overwater potted plants? - Duration: 1:21.Smart Learning for All
Topic: Respiration Why should we not overwater potted plants?
Well duh!!
It's because the water will overflow and make the floor dirty!!
Naahhh!!
Leaves of a plant take in oxygen from the air present in the atmosphere.
While, the roots, being buried in the soil, take in oxygen from the air present in tiny
spaces of the soil.
When we overwater a potted plant, the air in the tiny spaces gets replaced by water.
Yikes!!
So, do the roots know how to swim in water??
Oh!!
Please listen!!
As air gets replaced by water, the roots do not get sufficient oxygen to breathe and they
begin to rot.
This may adversely affect the growth of the plant.
Thus, we should always try to supply adequate water to the potted plants and not overwater
them.
