Tactics in Castle Crush. Issue #9 - Debriefing. Angels follow you. - Duration: 10:41.

Today we'll consider the battle of a test deck with two Angels, two Reapers, two Protections

and two Gusts of Wind against a balanced deck with powerful cards and cards increasing attack

and health and speeding up deploying of a cards.

Important note: this game was recorded before the last upgrade, when the Angel's magic heal

was higher, the Jester's health was greater and the Dark Angel's — lesser,

and the Reaper had a more powerful attack.

First, let's just watch the battle.

Pay attention to the efficiency of using two Angels with a Statue.

And now let's analyze the battle in detail.

I'm placing the Statue near the enemy castle.

Mistake: it was necessary to use an Angel instead of a Reaper, and only after that —

a Reaper and Protection.

I nearly lost the Statue because of this mistake.

I'm placing the Reaper to the center of the lane and using the Protection at once.

Right move of the opponent: to use the Mage that can attack a Reaper even under cover

the Statue (due the Area Damage property).

Another great move: if the opponent didn't use Giant Growth, the Mage would have had

no chance for a second attack (the first attack of the Mage destroyed the Protection).

As a result, the Mage managed to conduct four more attacks on the Statue, almost destroying it.

Perhaps the only mistake of the opponent in the game: to use the Standard Bearer

(with its high speed!) for defense instead of sending it along one of the empty lanes.

However, the opponent had a real chance to finish off my Statue.

But unluckily for him, at the moment when the Standard Bearer has appeared, the Mage

has been killed by the Angel, and alone Standard Bearer is not able neither cause any harm

to the Statue, nor to cover the castle from the Phoenix's attack.

However, the Standard Bearer covered the castle from the Angels' blows.

The opponent use the Executioner.

But it also can't destroy the Statue, which is being healed by two angels.

Although, it was a good idea: the Executioner, with its strong health, takes all the blows

itself, and the Angel heals it.

But the Phoenix's attack kills the Angel quickly.

I'm installing the Catapult.

Even the appearance of the Dark Angel is unable to change the situation.

The Executioner is rather dead than alive — but at this moment the opponent uses the Blizzard.

Excellent tactics, dramatically changing the course of the battle!

The Executioner and the Dark Angel destroyed the Statue for a couple of strikes and moved

towards my frozen cards.

At the same time, I'm sending the Skeletons along the first lane.

But it's rather a distraction maneuver than a real threat.

I use the Rage, and the opponent — the Wind to throw my cards back and to prevent my catapult

from attacking the castle.

And at this very moment, the opponent demolishes my Skeletons by Arrows.

I place the Jester in the center of the lane.

The opponent places the Archer Queen near the castle.

It seems that this is a mistake: the Jester is too far advanced and has no support

from other cards.

But it's thanks to such advanced position that the Jester manages to conduct a couple

of attacks (while the Rage is still acting), finishing off the Executioner and forcing

the Dark Angel to retreat almost to the castle.

It gives the Phoenix an opportunity to approach and attack the castle and the Archer Queen.

At the same time, I send the second Phoenix and Angel along the first lane.

I use another lane on purpose, in order: not to lose all the cards at once in case of a bad luck,

to distract the opponent's attention,

and to come closer to his castle as quickly as possible.

While the Dark Angel is trying to get to my cards, the Archer Queen kills my cards one

after another, consistently destroying the Jester, the Phoenix and the Reaper.

The Dark Angel perishes in one step away from the goal.

But instead the Dark Angel the opponent has already placed the Executioner, which has

demolished both the Protection and the Angels in two blows, and moved

towards my uncovered Catapult.

At the same time, the opponent uses a Wind on the first lane.

All I can do is use the Protection and wait.

Anyway, I don't have any cards except the Gust of Wind.

But I don't want to use it, so that not to hinder the Catapult from firing at the castle.

Even though my castle is not damaged yet, and the enemy's castle is almost destroyed,

the situation is bordering on critical: if the opponent destroys my catapult

before it destroys the castle, the battle will actually start anew.

Only now, the initiative and advantage in the attack (due to a more powerful deck)

will be already on the side of the opponent.

That's when I'll need a Wind to stop the enemy's attack till a new cards appear.

But the battle ends sooner.

Summarizing the results of the battle, for the deck reinforcement we can get rid of

one Reaper, one Gust of Wind and, probably, a Skeletons.

Instead of them, we can use, for example: an Archer Queen (which will increase attack

of anAngels, a Catapult and a Phoenix), a Mage (for ranged attack with Area Damage),

a Golem (as a mobile equivalent of a Statue) or Metamorph (for quick cloning of cards,

including the cards of the opponent).
