Pentagon - Gorilla & Can You Feel It Reaction - Duration: 12:12.

Hey!

This is Kita K again

because we couldn't find time to record together today

and in my previous video, if you watched it,

I said that I actually reacted to the wrong thing

because T didn't watch it either and I thought she did

so...so I'm sorry T

But these—these two videos that I'm reacting to right now

She watched it, and I haven't so...

I'm gonna be reacting to them

and...yeah

So thank you Phantom Genius/silverdagger865 from tumblr

I'm sorry, that was lowkey creepy, but

You're—I'm like—you're like my no. 1 fan and I love you, so...thank you!

For requesting

So, Gorilla and Can You Feel It by Pentagon is requested

so I'm going to watch Gorilla first

and yep

"Gorilla sudenly appeared"

Oh!

Is this about the news?

The...

I don't know what it's called omg it's so famous tho

Oh, this music

and that room

Oh! Okay

Okay

Dude, he looks hot in those glasses

Oh wow

Dude, the classroom setup reminds me a little bit of BTS

N.O

Oh, the pentagon shape

Oh wow. I love this part

The melody is good

So catchy

I sang it wrong

Whoa those costumes tho

Did he dab?

Boom, boom, boom

Lifegoals

Trashing the classroom

I like the pentagon

King Kong~

His eyes are so big

I love his sunglasses

Oh wow what was that?

Oh, something's wrong

Oh, what happened?

Nirvana

Oh I love this part

The choreography is so on point

Oh that's a lot of empty seats

What kind of movie are they watching?

They look so unamused

Oh damn

That's nice

I like that

I can't think of the—I can't think of the name right now

but it's about the news, right?

About the dead gorilla?

I think it is

That's nice...

If it's about that

I might be totally wrong but it just reminded me of that instantly

And

Yeah, wow

I don't really know Pentagon either

but I can definitely look into them

I like their music

It's...

The chorus is so catchy

Okay. I love those kind of music

I like those upbeat music

And I'm going to be reacting to Can You Feel It next

I have a feeling it's kind of different, right?

Can You Feel It sounds like a slow song

Am I wrong?

I'm probably wrong

Okay, let's go

Oh wow, the floor

It doesn't sound like a slow music [song]

Okay, I'm wrong

Oh, the floor tho

I like their clothes

I like his hair

Oh black and white. That's pretty cool

It's like a chess board

They're drinking at the exact same time. That's kinda creepy

Oh wow

It's like a soldier, right? That costume

Omg the table! I like that table!

Dude, I love their costumes

They're really cool

He's just like

Ah, I love that table! [We know]

Can you imagine eating on that table? That's pretty cool

Oh, my cat

Oh!

That's a lot of people

Oh, I like that part

That 'talk to me' part

Oh, the floor

That note

Oh, his voice is really high

And the beat drop

Those—That eyeroll!

So sassy

Yeah, I love this part

5 senses

Is that their album name?

5 senses?

Yeah, wow!

Pentagon

It was completely not a slow song. I was wrong

Can You Feel It, okay

I'm kinda disappointed in myself now

Okay, the only thing

that I thought of throughout the video

is that, you know the table scene?

It had like a black and white

Like

I feel like

It's so awkward to film that

'cause you have to film yourself twice sitting on that table

Right?

I just—

I really admire those people who can, like, make different versions of themselves in the same scene

'cause you have to, like, do ten versions of yourself

I just really admire that, like

There was one MV where they did that

I think it was...

My brain is failing me

I have become old

What was that MV???

I love that song so much

and I can't think of it right now

Imma have to search it up, okay

Give me a moment

Let me show you my technical skills

Oh! I found it! I found it

It's Letting Go by Day6

Yes! They had to film a lot of different versions of themselves playing instruments and stuff

I really admire that

Yeah. So...

That was the only thing I was thinking of throughout the MV?

That can't be true

No, it's not

I really, really liked the music

I really like the beat

The beat drops

and the choreography

and omg those tables and the floors

I love those so much

And yeah

So tell me more about Pentagon if you stan that group

Tell me who your bias is, tell me...

idk, your favorite song, what I react to next

and yeah

Thanks for watching

Please comment if you have any requests

Thank you to the people who have requested previously

We'll try to get to them as soon as possible

and please subscribe if you think we've earned it

and hopefully we'll see T very, very soon

probably in the next video

Yeah, so...

Thank you!

And this is Kita K

and hopefully we'll have Kita KT very soon

Yeah, bye!

Riffing on Making Images (One's Your Neighbor With a Rebel Can't) - Duration: 9:16.

Just riffing off yesterday a little bit

"show me something I haven't seen before"

I think what that does is it it's

incumbent then on the photographer to

push themselves harder than the cliche

or the easy shot in most of the

photography that that I think is going

to win out there it's not the easy shot

that's going to make the difference

especially in commercial photography or

editorial photography we try to sell

your creative abilities your abilities

to solve problems the easy shot isn't

going to work if the job is to shoot a

can of hairspray or a bottle of wine and

you just set it there and put a light on

and take a picture what how is that

better than them getting a CGI

representation of it how is that better

than them just doing it themselves one

of the things I tell my photography

students is you've got to show me a

picture that my mom couldn't do on her

iPhone or that your mom couldn't do on

her iPhone so I say picture this your

neighbor just got a rebel or Nikon or

maybe they got a cool little Fuji for

Christmas and they've got a lens for it

and they're just out taking pictures of

kids and stuff and just having a ball

they have no idea how to use the camera

to its potential they're just having fun

with it nothing wrong with that at all

my question is the photograph you do for

your portfolio

could they have done that photograph if

the answer is yes we have a problem

because if that's as far as you're

willing to push your own work to be as

good as somebody who's only been

shooting for four months that's not

pushing hard enough

that's not trying hard enough that's not

it's not you know grasping the situation

that we have in front of us which is to

make a unique and compelling image it's

so easy to make photographs these days

and I know some people would argue with

me but there's I'm sorry then it's easy

it's really easy compared to how

difficult it was to make photographs 20

years ago and 20 years ago it was a hell

of a lot easier than it was 30 years

before that and that was a hell of a lot

easier than it was at the turn of the

century it's become easier and easier

because it's an art form based on

technology it's just as hard to do a

jeté and a leap as ballet it's just as

hard to play a violin today as it was 50

years ago it's not as hard to make a

photograph we can grab one of these and

we walk out the door and we can make a

photograph a pretty good photograph

actually a photograph that meets

whatever criteria we may want to apply

to it but it's got to go more than just

is it sharp and is it in focus and is it

got good color because that's a it's a

no-brainer now we knew that the idea

that we can make a better photograph

starts with us understanding our gear

our limitations and what's inside of us

as far as a desire to push ourselves to

do something really really hard and you

know what's really really hard to take

an amazing or unique photograph these

days a photograph easy a photograph that

means something much harder a photograph

that means something and speaks volumes

to what it means way to hell harder

because as the bar for technology goes

down the bar for saying something

important goes up and I'm not talking

I'm not talking about making photographs

that are like earth changing or life

changing or you know the famous

photograph that Eddie Adams took

the South Vietnamese cop shooting the

Vietcong in the head which many experts

believe and I believe was the end of the

Vietnam War that was it it turned so

many people against the war you know one

photograph black-and-white grainy

photograph taken on an icon changed the

course of human events that's a powerful

photograph not talking about those I'm

talking about photographs of what we do

as commercial photographers jewelry beer

shots all of those things can you make

it something even more special and

especially now that we have

post-processing cooked into the pie used

to be you take the photograph on a sheet

of ektachrome or a frame of ektachrome

Kodachrome or whatever was that was it

they can do a little bit you know when

they made the separation they might pull

a little saturation or something but

that was it now when we shoot we can

actually plan our post-processing

as part of the photograph and I don't

care if it's multi image composites or

just a straight photograph we can plan

our post to be a part of the image

taking experience when I photograph

these days well when I fought it for the

last 30 years when I make a photograph

when I've got the camera up to my eye I

see the finished print I see the print

the touchable print even though I don't

print as many pictures as I used to

that's still what I see in my head the

finished print burned dodged vignette

'add whatever and I'm thinking as I'm

taking the photograph I'm seeing this

finished picture so I'm already jumping

ahead to the post-processing knowing

what I'm going to do does that mean that

serendipity eyes and jump in there and

change my mind no sometimes you get in

our own Photoshop or Lightroom and

you're you're working your plan and you

think what if I do that I just

if I just slide this and something else

comes your way but she still started

with a plan because you saw it in your

head

you pushed yourself to make an image

that was not just a snapshot or a

capture of a moment or an event one of

the things I have the photographer's do

is to go out and do a street portrait

the reason I tell I call it a street

portrait it's not street photography and

it's not a voyeuristic photograph it's

not stand across the street with a 200

millimeter lens and photograph that guy

over in the shop who doesn't know

they're being photographed

I mean intentionally going up to a

stranger and asking them to take the

photograph and then I want the

photographer's to move them from where

they are get comfortable with asking

them with all thank you for it can I put

you by this doorway now we're not going

to go hey can we walk across town to

this cool bridge I saw that's not the

point we're just going to move them a

little bit out of space you know why we

do that because we take control and once

we take control we own the frame it's

ours we put them in them in that doorway

we set them up we are the photographer

we're not just letting chance happen we

are making that image and it's up it's

quite a challenge but it's what we have

to do to make an image that is not

cliche that is not a snap or a grab shot

it's not what your next-door neighbor

would do with his rebel and kit lens

it's not we've changed it up for what we

see up here if we're not seeing stuff up

here then I think there's two sorry

there are two things that we need to do

more of number one take a hell of a lot

more pictures number two look at a lot

more pictures we've got to become

visually literate not just about

photographers the people who went before

us but about our own work about the

craft of photography become visually

literate

and it will help you make images that

are more interesting in the long run

that captivate more and push you farther

and farther towards finding your own

voice in photography it'll be quite a

challenge it really is but the harder

you work the more successful you become

it's magic that is see you tomorrow

How can nanotechnology limit biofouling in water treatment? - Duration: 2:45.

Think back to the last time you went to

your favorite lake, river, or ocean. As you

were there you, may have noticed a

slippery green slime, growing on the

surface of objects submerged in water.

For example, on a rock, or the leg of a

dock. If you've seen this green slime, you

are familiar with the biofilm. The

formation of a biofilm begins when a

bacteria floating in water attaches to a

surface. Once it has attached, the microbe

will multiply into hundreds, thousands,

millions, billions, and even trillions of

cells. Biofilms aren't just found in

nature. They also exist in drinking water

treatment plants, where they can pose

serious challenges - especially when they

grow on membranes: a common component of

drinking water systems that filter out

harmful contaminants. For one, biofilms

are a problem because they provide an

environment for pathogens to replicate,

resulting in water that can be unsafe to

drink. Biofilms also raise the economic

and environmental costs of treating

water. This is primarily due to the

increased energy needed to push water

more forcibly across clogged membranes.

Currently, utilities control membrane

biofouling by dosing chlorine, and

treating the water to a higher quality

before it reaches the membranes. however,

despite these measures, biofouling is

still a common problem.

Nanotechnology may offer a more effective way to

control bio fouling than these

traditional methods. Nanotechnology's

benefit lies in its ability to take an

offensive and defensive approach to

limiting biofouling, all without

impairing the membrane's ability to

generate safe, clean, drinking water.

The defensive approach involves changing

the surface chemistry of membranes with

nano materials, such as graphene oxide, so

it is more difficult for bacteria to

attach in the first place. The offensive

approach takes the battle to the

bacteria. Some materials, such as silver

nanoparticles, are known to be biocidal,

meaning they are deadly to bacteria and

other microorganisms.

The most promising approach to biofouling

involves the use of both anti-adhesive

and biocidal nanomaterials.

However, challenges remain; particularly

in respect to maintaining these

properties over the life of the membrane.

But even incremental improvements can

make a meaningful difference on the cost,

quality, and environmental implications

of treating water

How even Mobile Repairing can make you Millionaire - Motivational Video by Sandeep Maheshwari FAN - Duration: 4:40.

Becoming rich is not a luck, rather it is an art.

The more you become master in this art, the easier you get rich.

So, how to master this art?

In this video that is what i am going to share with you . So, let's start,

It is a very easy 2steps process.

Step 1: Observation The key to get rich is observing the reality,

Finding the real problems that have infinite possibilities of growth.

There are many people who used to roam around with their weird business ideas, totally disconnected

from the reality.

They are like, I'm going to make a chair, which will look like clouds and also it will

float on the sky just like the clouds.

And I will use gravitational force in such a manner so that the chair will never fell

down.

And I'm going to build a billion dollar business with this chair.

What is it?

I'm not saying it is impossible, but there will be hundreds of years required to do this,

it is not possible right now, that is for sure.

We have to observe the reality, and find out real problems not imaginary.

Let me give you one example.

Today every person in his hand has a mobile phone, and many times mobiles need to get

repaired.

But, here the problem is maximum of mobile repairing shops use to fool the customers.

If they need a just Rs. 20 part to fix the mobile, they say that it is a Rs. 200 part.

Or sometimes, even when there is no need of any parts, still they keep the mobile for

1 or 2 days and then create a 200-300 Rs. bill for the same.

So, the demand of a good and honest mobile repairing shop is increasing day by day.

There is a small course of mobile repairing for maximum 6 months long.

If you do that, and open a simple mobile repairing shop with 100% honesty and transparency, will

people come to you or not?

If you like others to be honest to you, then obviously others also like the same.

Here your focus should be solving the problem of honesty and transparency in the mobile

repairing field.

Solving this problem, will automatically make you rich.

Step 2: Keep growing Now suppose you have opened a shop and it

is running very successfully.

It has to be, because it will be the only shop where people will be getting 100% transparency,

their phones will be get repaired infront of their eyes and they will pay just according

to the time it takes to repair the mobile.

So, it is obvious after a time you will become very busy due to lots of people coming to

you.

Then you need to do something else.

Immediately, you have to make a team with you by hiring other mobile repair mechanics.

You need to become a job creator.

You should never get stuck at any point.

After few years maybe you can start another shop, then after few more years maybe another.

I'm pretty much sure you might also know someone in your locality, who started from a small

shop in rent, then he bought it, after few years he bought a new shop just beside it

and now he is having a huge business.

So just like him, you can do it also.

Suppose when you will have a well established mobile repairing shop, then you can also start

the business of selling and buying second hand mobile.

And as you are a mechanic, by charing a extra small amount of fee you can also give a free

1year servicing warranty with that second hand mobile.

Can you imagine how much can your earn from this?

Is there any upper limit in it?

No!

It is infinite.

So, you just need to keep moving forward.

I know still people will hesitate to start from a mobile repairing shop, this is because

of their false ego.

They will think it is below their standard.

If this is the case with you, and you are an unemployed guy with a bachelors or masters

degree in your hand, then you need to ask a simple question to yourself?

"Who the hell am I?

Is any work small or big?".

Every work has a infinite possibilities of growth, if one can see it and change himself

according to the need, he can easily become rich.

I have learned these things from Sandeep Maheshwaris How to get rich session.

And Im sharing this in English language in a summarized manner to join his mission

in helping others who need it the most.

If you find it useful, and truly appreciate our work, then a little request to you, please

share this video and help us by joining with us, clicking on the subscribe button.

Next video is on the next week.

Thanks for watching.

Can You Game on a Mac? (2017) - Duration: 5:25.

- Hey guys, this is Austin,

and today we're going to find out,

can you actually game on a Mac?

So to find out, I have two of the most recent Macbooks

in front of me. So this is the base line 13" model,

so it has a dual core Core i5 processor,

8 gigabytes of memory, and integrated Iris graphics.

Where I also have a 15" maxed out model,

with the Core i7 quad core, 16 gigabytes of memory

and the dedicated Radeon Pro 460 graphics.

Obviously, no one should go out and buy a

Mac as a gaming PC, they just don't make sense.

However, what I'm curious about is if you

already do have a Mac for whatever reason,

can you play games on them at all?

What's kind of cool is that over half of my

Steam library will work on macOS, no problem.

Now, a couple of things actually have changed on

the gaming side of Mac in the last couple years.

Most notably, Metal.

This is very similar to a lower level API,

such as DirectX12 on the PC, or something like Vulkan,

and essentially, it should allow us to get

better performance by abstracting all the

stuff in the middle and letting the game

get as close to the hardware as possible.

To start with, I want to try F1 2016,

which does take advantage of Metal on the Mac.

Now I'm going to start using the 13" Macbook Pro,

as I feel like this is pretty similar to

the Macs that most people are using.

So it looks like this works pretty well.

I don't have a way of testing the exact framerates

but to my eye it looks nice and smooth.

No torn frames or anything dropping too badly.

So right now I'm using the Playstation 4 controller,

which interestingly enough, actually just works

straight out of the box.

You literally just pair it via bluetooth and that's it.

Oh, nope, you can't go flat out everywhere,

no, no, nope, no, no, no, no. (laughs)

Okay, so maybe you actually can't go flat out everywhere.

I will say the graphics are not the greatest,

so we're running at 1280 by 800

but, I mean, I would say that this looks roughly equivalent

to something like an Xbox 360 game

so it's hard to know exactly how much of

a difference Metal makes since I actually can't turn it off

but considering that I'm running on an integrated graphics

this doesn't look bad at all.

Next up, we have Minecraft and because of our

wonderful dongle life, I have to use an adapter,

but besides that, we should be good to go.

So max framerate, 60, VSync, yep,

Maximum, Fancy, this is pretty much all turned up.

Minecraft's easy. (laughs)

I mean, after running Minecraft on the Raspbery Pi,

I'm really not surprised that anything can run Minecraft,

but I think the nice thing is that we're really

not losing anything with the Macbook Pro.

Yeah, maybe you can do stuff like shaders and whatnot on PC,

but to be fair, a lot of mods, in fact,

I think most of them actually should be

just completely fine to run on Mac.

(singing doo in rhythm)

I was just having fun, and then Ken started

zooming the camera and pointing at my face

so I feel like that just made in in the video.

Next, we have CS:GO.

Now this is another game I know will run on Mac

but what I'm curious about is what happens if

we actually try to crank up the resolution and settings.

Alright, it works but it's definitely dropping some frames.

To be fair, we actually are playing at 2560 by 1600.

It's decent, but let's see if we can crank

the settings down a little bit.

Oh, that's way better.

So cranking the resolution down to 1280 by 800

pretty much immediately fixes all the problems.

There is a little bit of screen tearing though,

which is interesting.

Almost immediately, I could tell this is usable.

It's definitely playable but it's not as nice

as it would be on a machine running Windows.

So next we have Rocket League, and again,

this is another game that natively does support

the DualShock 4.

So it thinks that we can run at 900p with

pretty much everything cranked up, so let's give it a try.

It looks like we actually have pretty much

the full Rocket League experience here.

Graphic wise, on high it looks pretty nice.

We've got stuff like the rain, and the particle effect.

And, uh, no!

How did that happen?

I am noticing some framerate drops,

it's maybe not the smoothest thing in the world

but we definitely do have a lot of room to

crank the graphics down if we need to.

Next, I want to see how a more powerful Mac handles games.

So we have the 15" Pro.

So the first trial that I want to try

is StarCraft 2; not exactly a brand new game

but it does have support for Metal.

So right now we're running at 1650 by 1050

with everything set to high and again,

it seems to be running nice and smooth,

which is important for a game like StarCraft.

So the first thing that's actually throwing me off

a lot is actually the keyboard.

The Command, Option, Control and Function keys

are not remotely in the same spot as

they are in Windows so all my muscle memory

is just completely shot right now.

For example, my escape key is a software key,

which seems like it would be a big problem.

Especially for a game where I'm actually kind of

canceling commands sometimes but it actually kind of works.

Can the Macbook successfully help me win a game

against an easy AI, or I guess, a hard AI?

Yes.

The answer is I can actually kind of play this.

Next, we have Shadow of Mordor.

Even though this is a couple years old,

this has been one of my favorite games

to benchmark PCs for quite a while

and for what I remember, the port to Mac and Linux

is actually pretty decent.

I really actually do like Shadow of Mordor.

It kind of feels a little bit like

playing some of the Batman games

that it's kind of a bit like a hack and slash.

Like God of War or something but one thing

you actually should be careful of,

especially with these kind of more high end games,

is to make sure that you have a Mac that's

going to be compatible.

Lighter stuff, like CS:GO, should run on basically anything,

but a lot of these games specifically

do need a dedicated graphics card, or a quad core processor,

or something, so don't just expect that you

could just pick up any game and it's going to work.

Yo, am I going to beat, like, 40 guys right now

by myself on a Macbook?

Pretty proud of that.

Of course, you could run Windows on a Mac

via Bootcamp which will open up pretty much

all the games in the universe,

but that doesn't get around the fact that

you should not buy a Mac for gaming.

However, if you already have one and you just

want to play a few games, it's totally usable.

So, what do you guys think about gaming on a Mac in 2017?

Let me know in the comments below

and I will catch you in the next one.

BGT: Alesha Dixon's outfit leaves fans seriously confused – can you tell why? - Duration: 2:15.

BGT: Alesha Dixon's outfit leaves fans seriously confused – can you tell why?

As the last of Britains Got Talent audition rounds kicked off fans prepared with their popcorn at the ready. But popcorn dramatically fell out of mouths when Alesha Dixon got onto the stage.

The celeb judge was called to help out a magician do his trick but fans were more concerned with what she was wearing than the act – a pair of black and white trousers.

They werent just any old trousers though as they somehow made her look ten foot tall – and viewers were absolutely baffled.

Some even thought that the BGT star was wearing stilts. Fans jumped to Twitter to share their suspicions on Aleshas height. One person tweeted: Alesha Dixon is actually made up of one small person stood on another small persons shoulders..

Can you name these celebrities? App that changes your age and sex, famous faces could look like - Duration: 3:28.

Can you recognise the celebs? Saint-Petersburg-based face-scanning app, FaceApp, reveals what people might look like if they were a different age or gender. The filters can be applied to the image in seconds with dramatic results. Some well-known faces are almost unrecognisable as they get older. Others looks improve as they change sex or become younger.

Kate Middleton looks like she will age with grace as an older woman. The app makes her look quite different as a man

The software revealed that Donald Trump was a cute child, but the US president is not too dissimilar from his normal self with the female filter

Kim Kardashian looks like she will age well. She would also make a handsome man had she been born male

Prince Harry bears a strange resemblance to his father Prince Charles when the app makes him older and it seems he would have been an attractive as a woman

Kylie Jenner looks a more like her mum Kris Jenner as an older woman and bears a strange resemblance to Zac Efron as a man

David Beckham looks like a silver fox with the age filter and attractive with the filter that changes the person's sex

Beyonce still looks sharp as an older woman. The filters don't make her look much different as a man - except for a hint of hair on her top lip

Rita Ora's smouldering eyes will carry into old age and would have made the songstress a handsome man, according to the software

Gigi Hadid could still be rocking her trademark Victoria Secret dressing gown well into her 50s and 60s. But the male version of Gigi seems not to have inherited her model features

Age may not treat Harry Styles too kindly, according to the app's predictions. But it seems the ex-One Direction star would have been just as good-looking as a woman

The software predicts that Adele will age well, but the male version of the popstar is almost unrecognisable

Daily Video 355: Can you accomplish four things by doing just one thing? - Duration: 1:31.

What if you could accomplish four things by just doing one thing?

You're looking at me going, Shawn, What are you talking about?

I'm Shawn Shewchuk.

Welcome back.

Think about this for just a second.

If you could take one step and accomplish four things instead of one.

Could you do more a day?

And I am not talking about multi-tasking.

But the answer is, yes you could.

And it's called the Intentional Congruence.

Think about what you can do to create that kind of force,

that kind of flow in your business or life.

Be very strategic about what you do on an on-going basis.

So that when you're doing one thing, it's impacting two, three or four other things

in your business, in your life.

It's called, once again, Intentional Congruence.

When you can wrap your head, heart and hands around that.

You will accomplish so much more it will blow out of the water

And i'll share this with you.

On Wednesdays, I don't come into my office.

Not because I don't want to.

Not because I don't have a great team Not because we don't have a great office and

training center here.

But the reason is because I can sit down.

And I can accomplish four things with taking one step.

It's incredible what happens when you know how to harness

what it is you do, how to do it and how to do it in a way that's strategic

to the end results, think about that, get very clear on how you can accomplish more.

I'm Shawn Shewchuk and I'll see you tomorrow.

You Can't Win 'Em All (1970), Director: Peter Collinson (Subtitles) - Duration: 1:35:04.

Look there.

To the left.

No one is saying you're welcome.

Mode What are these?

Sorry, I was a little inattentive. My name is Adam Dyer.

So you think to save my life?

Learn something, my friend. I really want to help...

...But the cost of living goes up.

It seems that my investment collapsed.

Yes, say where life there is hope.

Really Say?

Is trying to explain something to me?

Do you?

Stop thinking about it.

We will have time to talk.

500 gold?

500?

Where are they?

Sorry.

Welcome.

Give him something to drink.

Enough is enough.

I've had my welcome.

Thank you.

Corrupt and bloody.

There are people willing to work for money.

Looks like you chose the wrong people.

Yes, it does.

Look at this.

Looks like a watch, no.

You learn real quick, is not it?

I had a good teacher.

I do not suppose you have anything useful to say?

I say goodbye and good riddance, my friend.

My name is Josh Corey. - Pleasure to meet you.

Sorry, I do not speak Greek.

Who are you? What are you doing here?

Who are you?

My name Kiriakis Cocodopulos.

How are you? I'm Adam Dyer.

Very well, thank you. - I'm happy.

This is the ship Mitsos Andriatisa property cousin of my wife.

Your wife? Yes.

What is the name? - Mitsos Andriatis.

Mitsos had a terrible accident. - Fatal Accident?

In high seas broke his legs. The burden fell on him.

I have to tell you something.

He was in another boat.

Stay here and do not worry about anything.

This place makes any sailor is the luckiest in the world.

Let's see if it's true.

Is a place scented small.

It's almost as if I were at home.

We are working hard.

I like the environment.

Can I get you anything?

Thanks, lady, I hope you understand.

I do not really mean.

My name is Polak.

I'm glad to meet you. Why will not eat grapes anywhere else?

The name Corey tells you something?

Do you have a lot of names.

Are you sure you did not say anything to you?

Actually I wish I could, but I think I'll wait.

We can not.

A boat sets sail from the mainland with our friend.

Corey, come here and you are with your weapon.

OK. I see.

You heard the lady?

If you have something to say, this is the time.

Yes, go ahead. I like to hear.

There is nothing better than a good story.

Who is this Josh?

Friend of man.

I could not think of a better one.

Where are the others?

They are in the company of ladies.

The party is over. Get out. - OK.

You two go to the boat.

You can buy you a drink.

Thank you.

Ma'am...

I love problems.

OK, I surrender. How did you know?

Courtesy of the Greek Coast Guard.

I love pirates and smugglers. No.

In Turkey, this civil war the sea is not a safe place.

I can not accept this, but I asked some questions?

A very touching story. You should be there.

They eyes filled with tears when they learned that the boat sank bought.

I used this face and his name...

Wait a minute...

...It is a respectable man, no? - I see that all was well.

What are you doing here?

I follow the stars.

You're wasting your time. It's cloudy.

Come on.

You have your army?

Here pay better and do not need to watch the stars.

Do you prefer the time, right?

Time, the stars... They are all the same things.

You and I seek the same. This is a good opportunity to make money.

I just want what's mine.

I'm not puritanical.

I know that.

I think your friends are not very puritanical.

They are in some chest will find their medals.

When there is a war, everything is an honor for a soldier.

After nothing back as before.

If you win or lose is almost same.

Therefore, the wisest course is to keep in shape for the next time.

The weather changes.

But people do not.

Professionals are in great demand.

It seems that the Coast Guard has to verify his story.

Your name is more important than I thought.

You bet.

I have some news for you. - Yes? - That was not my boat.

This is called playing dirty.

I know. Forgiveness. Health.

Do you see the man?

It's him. Where is my cousin? What did you do with it?

Are you sure? - Absolute.

You. - Yes, sir?

This man has serious charges against you. - I heard.

He says you stole a boat called Mitsos Andriatisa.

What did you do with it? - Silence.

What you have to say about it?

I have never seen this man. Friend, take that drink.

Do you know this man?

It? I had never seen.

The clock Mitsosov. He's dead?

Silence.

Gentlemen, you are stuck.

There goes my furniture.

This place is only for housekeeping. Get out.

Bye.

Oh, no.

You will pay for the damages.

I have your watch.

Jump.

Yes.

OK, help me with the canvas.

Here you go, boys. Could not be better.

Planning to start a war?

No, get involved with a current. It's good, is not it?

Yes You look like a volunteer.

I do not. Unless you pay me in cash.

Who pays?

This month, the Sultan of Turkey.

Apparently the peasants and their leader Mustafa.

Kemal attempt to overthrow the government.

Is that a bad government.

Says who?

The people of Kemal.

Who cares? The Sultan can afford, but people can not.

Does he support those who lose?

I do not believe. The sultan is the Greek soldiers as allies.

Always have time to go to the other side.

Yes, that's right. You always on the winning side.

Here, Josh. We have enough weapons to start another world war.

Yes, what they say about Wollanom? Know anything about him?

We expect Turkey as planned.

Take a for you. I do not want to feel abandoned.

Such generosity can be deadly.

Better you than me.

I'm not easy to kill.

Wollan. Where is the village?

Four kilometers inland. Residents are only women and old men.

OK. Gather the men then.

And then what?

Then someone will contact them.

I wonder how many times this valley burned in the last thousand years.

Many times as they did to rebuild.

This is strength of a country, Josh. Celebrities...

...always willing to resist no matter pass.

Some learn, some do not. It's human nature.

Part of human nature comes from the right.

We follow since the last time.

Arrived late Josh. It seems that the attackers came before.

Yes.

Let them go.

The vultures are still here.

You called them to get in touch with you.

I would like to avoid the useless slaughter of their horses.

Do not be fooled, Josh.

Let us introduce you Turkish hospitality.

Lords, their appearance is really friendly.

But not their weapons.

I suppose landscape not the only reason that brought you here?

Maybe.

Allow me to introduce. Colonel Ahmet Elci.

I am a former officer of the imperial guard...

...and serving Governor of the Sultan of Turkey.

Josh Corey, 42 Sergeant Brooklyn.

I knew you were educated.

What can we do for you, Colonel?

Maybe I can help you.

In the current situation, Turkey needs Western technology.

Caliber 45, fires 400 rounds per minute. Fully automatic.

Even if they are foreigners, we can divide our fortune.

Want to join me for a drink?

OK, guys.

What is this fortune you want to divide us?

This is not Paris, but something is better than nothing.

If you are saying.

Please, sit.

Poor child.

I'm sorry for your decor, Colonel.

Unfortunately, these are the circumstances. I made a suggestion, but would not accept.

I want to make another you.

Come with us Balikesir. And look what eight...

...years of war and revolution made with Turkey.

We are a poor country, but there may be a reward for those who help us.

This is somewhat inaccurate.

This life almost everything is. I just suggest...

...that you have confidence in our good intentions.

The glass is dirty. This is how they serve a Turkish officer?

A grenade.

See what I mean? These followers of Mustafa Kemal are nasty people.

As the chorus is giving hand and taking...

I do not do that, Colonel.

Our own garden of Eden with Eve, Adam and the apple. Beware the snake.

Do not play that game, Josh.

There is nothing more dangerous than a man with a gun.

Colonel, I'm sorry. My friend excels in school.

Is nothing less than the General of the Salvation Army.

There will be other opportunities.

We have a long way to go, gentlemen.

Sorry, but I have no doubt about the good intentions of the colonel, but who will win?

Someone with more authority than I will speak when the Balikesir.

I had to make this point clear. - Come on.

From what I see is enlisting? - Why not?

I lost everything in the Great War, may recover a little.

I was right, you learn quickly. Yes.

Here is a bunch of bandits and rebels, then I suggest you keep your men on alert.

Do not want to miss the company of noble comrades in arms.

It is very nice to hear, but you need not worry about us.

What happened to Rebels operating in these hills?

All we need is to sing Gary Owen. - I never heard of him.

A military march.

The captain will take care of their men. Follow me.

Can I?

The party is over.

Go back to your games, men.

I'm Osman Bey governor of that province. We need missionaries of his caliber.

Unfortunately, these are troubling times.

Mustafa Kemal broke the line of our Greek allies in Afyon.

Within days his men arrived at our doors.

That is, a farewell party.

If the sultan's troops arrive in time, we can defend Balikesir.

Note reinforcements never arrive when you need them.

Sometimes help comes from where you least expect it.

Are you interested in 10,000 pounds?

Actually, the price is 20,000.

Five thousand in cash and the remainder when the work is completed.

I said we're interested? And there we agree.

What is the task?

A trip to Mecca is full of dangers. Not only...

...here in Turkey but also in Syria and Palestine.

Wants us to be a bodyguard for a group on their way to Mecca?

Up to Mecca not going to change the destination to Cairo at some point. - Cairo?

Is 13,000 miles away by land. It will not be easier to use a boat.

True, but the problem is that the British are afraid...

...that our war is spreading and block our coast.

No boat can leave Turkish territorial waters.

But one American boat could.

Did not ask me here. - Yeah - Well then you care...

My family owned three small cargo ships. In the last war,

two of them went down with my father, brother and crew.

I was the first officer in the third,

when he was captured by a German cruiser.

Took me awhile to realize that the Germans went to the Turks.

This ship is at any port of Turkey?

Smyrna. Changed its name to 'Star of Islam.'

Beautiful name.

Claims to recover properties captured during the war...

...are a matter very time consuming. Unless you know someone very important.

Someone such as a governor of a province?

Especially if it's grateful.

£ 20,000 and the boat.

Is a lot of money to pay for an escort even more when you have your own troops.

Unfortunately, the uniform does not mean loyalty.

We live in dangerous times.

There are people close to me who want to avoid sharing an unnecessary risk.

The followers of Mustafa Kemal has control over much of the country...

...But you would still be able to come to Smyrna.

Yes.

I believe we agree on principles.

Only in should concern ourselves with good intentions.

The colonel and some men will accompany him.

Leave in the morning.

Governor...

We need to check something, right?

Tell the Sultan found a way.

Contact Cairo for the Star of Islam is intercepted by a destroyer.

It is advisable to trust our luck these outsiders?

This is a lesser evil. If troops Mustafa Kemal get here before the reinforcements.

If it gets on your hands. What will be fate of the empire.

Go immediately.

This is the permission for the ship.

I trust you to our friends who are suitably rewarded.

Ahmed.

As a beauty like this can work in a place like this?

See you later, buddy.

Do you think you're prepared?

You and half of his men in the first car. And the rest there.

OK, Bolek.

Come on.

We go there. Good.

I think it takes something extremely valuable.

Seems so. The temptation can be dangerous among decent people like you.

And even for Mustafa Kemal be interested in this train.

I hope you're right. - After the gentlemen.

Thank you.

Obviously, first class.

This is yours. - I know, as always third.

Polok, put a guard up there. - OK.

Wake. I'll do the first round.

I do not know what kind of animals transported, but I feel an itch on your back.

No matter.

Yesterday was guarding. Have you discovered?

What?

What are you doing in a place like this?

To make digestion.

Just as I thought.

I'm thinking has a lot of Turks on the train...

...Distrust of us, there is nothing valuable to steal.

Huge disappointment.

Wake me for lunch.

Rest a bit. - It's time.

Thank you.

I was just giving a ride by train and I happened to enter.

See you on another occasion.

If you insist.

Please turn on the light.

This is a tale of a thousand and one nights.

If you knew you had a car like this would have made a reservation.

Out.

Yes, ma'am. With his hands up.

Mr. Dyer... - Hi.

If derailed, Mr Dyer?

Seems.

It's okay. He is one of the good guys.

Thank you.

You engages in other businesses, Colonel?

Let me clarify this misunderstanding. They are the daughters of Osman Bey.

And she who is she? Nanny?

Ayla is a young wizard.

A girl really busy.

Shall we continue?

OK. - Gentlemen...

After all, it may be that the trip not so boring.

While we're stopped, wanting to inspect some other car?

If you even suggest it might not be necessary.

Human perception.

It makes me calm. It seems you do not trust us.

Think at all, Colonel.

As my mother says, I've tried.

Mustafa Kemal had no interest in his beautiful train.

How about this? Here?

They are very nice.

Calm, Polak.

Our job is to take care of the goods carefully and is give them whole.

Gentlemen, I will take care of the ladies. You...

...will find horses and mules in the other car.

Let's get to work.

The horses are there. Take and assemble.

Let's do the walking.

Small and stubborn.

Guess what?

The laundry Colonel.

I suppose.

Good afternoon, ladies.

I wonder why the Turks are in trouble?

What would happen if women removed the veil?

A face like yours, there is nothing to hide. You know that, right?

You've seen many cards.

Not all women wear the veil.

Ah, a suffragette Turkish.

Is bad?

No, if you smile.

The rebels are now miles away.

So you do not need much protection.

Yes, but these people can not be safe?

The Kemal followers are poor peasants.

Peasants common?

Willing to die for a man who gave them a little hope.

Farmers.

And I see that ordinary people do not appreciate.

They are a useless flock who are always behind someone.

No need to cry. Who knows...

If you think it's funny, what you do with us?

Maybe I do not want to travel alone.

Do not waste your time talking politics, Mr. Dyer.

I just think about it.

Come with me to the front of the column.

Duty calls.

Take a good look. It's beautiful, is not it?

The Bible calls the Mesopotamian cradle of mankind.

Centuries before Christ, it was the cultural center of the world.

Very beautiful. And what has been done since then?

Camp here.

Someone's feelings are hurt.

I can help it.

Mr. Corey, Captain Enver will take care of it.

You know, he was right. Money is not everything.

Mr. Dyer... - Colonel...

Looking for something? - I knew I'd find you here.

These boxes seem heavier than they should be.

You perceive. - Yes.

You're a smart man. You know what it means to be loyal.

We are talking about the boxes.

Of course. Yes.

Well said. Here there are about twelve tons of gold.

Cairo is not the most pleasant this time of year.

Rome is a magical city, if you have the means to enjoy.

You are right about the loyalty and uniforms.

The Ottoman Empire is dying and does not...

...want to share their luck with Mustafa Kemal.

You lost his fortune during the war.

Half of what's here will compensate, do you.

Do not forget to someone?

Only you.

Tales will feed a hungry fox.

The usefulness of his friends end in Smyrna.

Your begun there.

Before us is a long journey ahead.

Who knows, maybe let us be friends.

I'll think about it. - Thank you.

I hope you decide to be selfish in the morning.

Good evening. - Good evening.

Welcome to our village. - Continue with the wedding.

We stay only one night.

I love weddings.

It is the courage of the innocent.

Is very good.

The evil that I often forget.

I like smart people as we ask for something more in life. Not you?

By order of Colonel, stay here for the night.

Yes.

Bring the horses.

We will not be able to stay on the sidelines.

Shame.

Lost? I do not think the Colonel has sent here.

The door was not locked.

I was just resting.

I will not be I will stop.

Colonel will not be happy that you're here.

You wait for him?

Actually, it bothers you?

Not much.

Tell me...

It will be a shame to let you live in a place like this?

Once you understand that gold is only lead.

He will not be pleased.

You need to know that?

Are you trying to bribe me.

Are the time of Suleiman the Magnificent.

Much of his treasure was sent abroad to keep him safe from the wars.

The Sultan also commits mistakes.

No wonder Kemal had much interest in robbing this train.

A woman also needs a man. Someone with whom you can share it.

Someone you can trust.

There is a problem: I do not want Josh is not considered impaired.

I'm glad you said.

If you bother me, I'll kill him.

Convincing, is not it?

I wondered how long it would take to find these boxes?

Do you know about treasure?

Adam, I can smell it from miles away.

I because that fake gold.

It's confusing.

Thanks to Florence Nightingale.

The true treasure will arrive in the hands of their rightful owners.

I and you? According?

Combined.

What is happening?

Greeks. His entire army is here.

Why attack us if we are on your side?

They think we can not escape.

Fire.

Roll out the white flag. - OK.

Fire.

Fire.

Fire.

Bring three horses behind the inn. Quickly. - Now.

Fire.

Stop shooting.

Launch a rocket recognition captain.

Riding for two days to reach Izmir?

The star of Islam? - Fortune smiles the lovers and thieves.

'Il Be on another continent before the Sultan can perceive.

The colonel and the lady disappeared.

Greeks and greet, and I'll make a visit to the Turks.

I noticed that your friends seem very worried about you.

Let our allies enter.

OK.

This is your style. The faster output.

You going somewhere?

With you, if you want.

I should have left him to kill him.

I would have done if they do not need me.

Our allies broke the alliance.

When you Americans will find that they can not change the world?

One day you will realize that it is not easy to be nice in defeat.

Major I know that, I want you to know that this is not our fight.

All we want is to get out of Turkey and we are willing to pay.

With what?

With a million in gold.

Josh, the horses are waiting.

Wait a minute. A real man should make the right decisions.

I know that goes all the way to Izmir. We also.

It is better to travel with than 20200 people.

Adam is my friend and is in trouble.

I'll miss.

Come on.

You found the daughters of Osman Bey, they should be safe here.

I agree. - OK.

You've got gold. - I have the gold.

There are more like these.

Captain, keep your guard.

Immediately.

Rest last night. We leave tomorrow morning.

Major.

Adam, what do you know about gold? - There was communicated to us.

Do not want to hide, just did not want to raise...

...their concerns. Whenever I think of the other.

Polak...

He's dead. - Dead?

If were. - If you have been?

Josh proved my thesis. He picked up the girl and will wait for us in the boat.

This kind of loyalty to friends is moving.

What should we do?

Find the bastard.

Could have demanded horses never reach with these creatures.

This took Greek in the hair.

Became gold while we swallow the dust.

Yes, I hope it's spending gold.

They did a good race, Mr. Dyer.

We could go faster with a couple of trucks, Major.

Do you have a great sense of humor.

I'm glad you think so.

Is our opportunity.

Trucks.

What are you waiting for? Come on.

Where do these people think they will?

Is panic. Half of the people in Smyrna is Greek.

And the Turks are facing local rebels.

Imagine what will happen when the troops of Mustafa Kemal get here.

Stop.

Where do you come from?

What these people do there?

Major, we are trying to locate the Star of Islam.

Do not talk nonsense.

My job is to protect lives and property of Americans, and not watch this garbage.

This is the real deal. Just tell us where it is.

Sergeant, contact with the seat.

You just said American lives and property. Right?

Star of Islam is an American ship.

Are you wishing to kill him, right?

You can use this boat.

Anything that floats can save saved.

Sergeant, go to the boat. - Yes, Major.

Major, not regret.

Take all those people there.

In march.

Come on.

STARS OF ISLAM.

Here. It's all yours.

You're right, thanks.

Good luck, guys.

Come on.

It was time. What stopped him?

Where are the others?

The others have already can come, Josh.

How to say it: A short life is more exciting.

Do not take it seriously.

Try.

We need to take care of some things.

Davis, mount the guard at the bridge. Reese, care of the boiler.

Guys, follow me.

With so much noise, I forgot to explain my plan. Did well.

Inside.

Adam, I know what you're thinking. You're right,

but I always do things with a childlike spirit.

Inside.

Want, is hot.

Wash your feet with it.

What are you thinking?

It will be interesting to find out.

Had a good trip, Adam?

Next time, I'll go straight to America.

Your boat captain. Signed, sealed and delivered.

See? You must have faith.

Just because people cheat and steal, does not make it bad at all.

I can not help you.

Finally, got what I was looking for.

Josh, I'll do you a favor.

What?

These jewels certainly worth millions.

Certainly.

You know what a man like you can do with this money?

May be a good time to get behind the line of fire.

Not a chance.

I can not afford it. I feel responsible.

On the other hand, this money can save the lives...

...of many people especially if they belong to.

I hate to say, Adam...

...But the only way to keep these jewels is go over my dead body.

How I did not think about it.

It might have difficulties.

It seems that all the army wants to return home.

We have to do something.

Let none shoot. Loosen the strings.

Get off the ropes.

Put?? now the same machinery in motion. No matter the pressure you have.

What was that?

I think it was the propeller.

This is increasingly difficult.

Everyone to arms.

In the name of the new Republic of Turkey...

...The ship 'Star of Islam' is seized and its crew arrested.

Calm, Josh. It's not nice to lose control.

Josh, come here.

Take a look.

Within moments will be our turn.

It is a pretty panorama.

Good has to be optimistic. You no longer have to worry about money.

Whether discusses why these things.

And in the end brings us to our origin.

Adam has to recognize that girl has talent.

And unlike the rest of us.

I do not know. - I'm not sure.

Is a woman who can make a man be more than it is.

In your case could be a catastrophe. I do not think the world can be prepared for it.

Gentlemen, Mustafa Kemal awaits you.

Come with me.

OK, let's go.

We will follow the head as always. - Go, my friend, is impatient.

Quickly.

Stop here.

Where is the jewelry Suleyman, gentlemen?

What did you do with them?

For not make illusion. We know each of you to step up Balikesir Smyrna.

I'm sorry for what you are thinking of us.

You speak in your name, right?

In each game of chess there are no pedestrians.

Do not let the looks you get to this point.

I have no jewels.

Me neither.

Neither do I.

Someone made a mistake.

Missing...

If the general had more women like you the war...

...would be over in a week. And everything else.

A woman can love your country and continue being a woman.

You'll understand one day.

If you live to this day.

If that had arrived safe in my hands intact at...

...this time would be safe with his men in his boat.

Still have time.

General, do not know where the jewels are. If we knew, we would have said.

It is possible that they are telling the truth.

The jewels might have fallen when the safe was damaged.

Absolutely. Maybe they're on board.

Or at the bottom of the bay.

Anyway, served as our purpose.

The Ottoman Koran is in the right hands.

There were traitors.

Even my own men tried to steal while trying to rob the train.

All because of this book? Why do not you tell us?

Things would have been much easier.

General, allow me to?

The Ottoman Koran.

Ever heard of him?

I know that is one of the rarest books in existence.

Is much more than a rare book.

The Ottoman Koran is a religious and political...

...symbol of my people for 1300 years.

In this situation, the power of the Sultan could...

...join the rest of the Muslim world against us.

Sir, I like your attitude. I think we should help each other.

With sincerity I would take any class reward.

My friend actually has a problem.

He lost everything.

I can not lose more?

You came here rich at the expense of our misfortune, they...

...were willing to do anything to get what they wanted.

If my decision were based solely on it, would be shot.

But here's someone who trusts you.

Thus, considering who provided very valuable service...

...to my country even with their dirty ambition.

It makes me benevolent with you.

You are free to leave Turkey...

...But if you are smart, I recommend you do not go back.

I thought about it.

After all, after all we have done for him.

Could the least given us something. - You are lucky that we do not fuzilem.

Josh, I wish I had known this man, not the mercenary.

The jewels have not dropped when the safe was damaged, right?

Josh...

You'll never convince him.

After all, after all we are partners.

The whole world is waiting for us.

Balkans, Central America, the Far East.

Our experience can help them.

We are particularly talented.

We are a team and there is nothing we can not do.

Do me a favor.

Shut up and cut the potatoes.

10 People Who Just Can't Be Caught Off Guard

10 People Who Just Can't Be Caught Off Guard.

We've all been in awkward situations. When it happens, the only thing that matters is how to deal with it without losing face. We at Bright Side admire these stories of 10 people from whom we could only learn. A fan of Naomi Watts took a picture of her on the subway and put it on the Internet.

One of Naomi Watts's fans saw her on the subway by chance and quickly took a pic of her, instantly putting it on Instagram. Shortly, though, Naomi responded in kind: she put up a photo of the fan on her page, accompanying it with the question Think you're pretty sneaky?. Benedict Cumberbatch was compared to an otter.

The BBC's Graham Norton showed Benedict Cumberbatch some photos from Tumblr where users compared the actor to an otter. Benedict took it with good humor and happily obliged when Graham asked him to make a parody of the otter shots.

A fan grabbed Beyoncé during her show and dragged her off the stage.

At a show in Sao Paolo, Beyoncé sat down on the stage to chat with her fans, and one of them grabbed her and tried to drag her off.

Security guards rescued her and went to throw the fan out, but the singer stopped them, saying he was just overwhelmed with feelings. She asked for his name, shook his hand, and said,'Thank you, I love you too.. Prince Philip got stuck in an elevator.

In 1958, Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II, got stuck in the elevator of Heriot-Watt University. The Prince didn't lose his nerve and calmly said, This could only happen in a technical college.. Sandra Bullock got the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress.

In 2010, Sandra Bullock was awarded Worst Actress at the Golden Raspberry Awards. Although most actors don't attend the ceremony, Sandra actually came to receive her award.

She even brought a box with the unfortunate DVDs to give to everyone interested. If you watch the movie and think I'm not that bad there, I'll be glad to return the award, Sandra joked at the ceremony. Children got in the way of a professor's live stream.

A funny thing occurred during a live program on the BBC. Prof. Robert Kelly was answering the anchorman's question when some kids suddenly barged into his office. The professor turned out to have been at home in his study, and they were his children.

Despite the incident, neither the professor nor the anchorman lost their nerve, and they continued the interview. The situation was saved by the mother who came inside and took the kids away from the study.

A passerby took Richard Gere for a homeless man and gave him food.

Right in the middle of shooting Time Out of Mind, where Richard Gere played the role of a poor man and walked around in old and shabby clothes, a woman passing by approached him and offered him some food.

She took him for a real homeless guy and didn't even notice all the cameras that were on him. Richard thankfully accepted the food and had a good snack.

Adele put on her fan's raincoat during her show.

When Adele gave a concert in Auckland, New Zealand, before a crowd of 40,000, rain started to pour. The singer's hairdo and makeup couldn't stand the onslaught, but she found a way to proceed with the help of one of her fans: he gave her a pink raincoat.

Although it didn't really go with her dress, all her fans agree that she looked absolutely fabulous. Grace Kelly was asked to give a kiss to Marlon Brando.

In 1955, Grace Kelly received the Academy Award for Best Actress in The Country Girl. When the master of ceremonies suggested that she give a kiss to Marlon Brando who won the award for Best Actor, Grace said, I think it's him who ought to kiss me..

Richard Branson lost a bet and dressed up as a flight attendant.

The Virgin Airlines CEO Richard Branson lost a bet to his competitor, founder of AirAsia Tony Fernandez. The businessmen took bets on the best Formula 1 team, and Fernandez won.

His condition was that Branson should dress as a stewardess. Richard took the task seriously: he rouged his lips, dressed in a red blouse and skirt, and even shaved his legs.

For the 6 hours it took to get the passengers from Australia to Malaysia, Branson was serving the passengers, including Fernandez himself.

Film review: Doco on racing legend Bruce McLaren proves nice guys can finish first [ NEWS ] - Duration: 4:45.

Film review: Doco on racing legend Bruce McLaren proves nice guys can finish first

Roger Donaldsons McLaren is scheduled to open in New Zealand cinemas in June.

REVIEW: New Zealand is awfully good at finding something internationally successful to be proud of, but while sometimes this can feel a bit embarrassing and parochial, being the birthplace of one of the most enduring Formula One racing teams in the world is plenty to write home about.

Bruce McLarens unassuming trajectory from invalid schoolboy to world champion racing car driver is also a story to crow about, and something all Kiwis can celebrate.

McLaren is the much-anticipated documentary created by one of our prized exports, Roger Donaldson, a born Aussie who grew up in Aotearoa.

Donaldson gave us Sleeping Dogs and Smash Palace before heading (as one inevitably had to in the 80s, if one wanted to pursue a legitimate filmmaking career) to Hollywood, where he directed Kevin Costner in the thriller No Way Out, Tom Cruise in Cocktail and the volcano in action flick Dantes Peak.

McLaren tells the story of Kiwi Bruce McLarens journey from invalid schoolboy to world champion racing car driver.

Returning to his homeland, and his long-time love of racing (which has stemmed from his first ever short film about Burt Munro and was later demonstrated in his biopic of the rider in The Worlds Fastest Indian), Donaldson has obtained intimate access to Bruce McLarens family and friends to paint an often touching, albeit resoundingly positive, portrait of the great man.

This positivity may be because McLaren simply was a really nice bloke.

The film sticks to happy footage and charming black-and-white photos of a handsome, jolly, Kiwi chap whose childhood was mired by illness which saw him spending two years flat on his back, but always with a cheerful grin.

Donaldson employs a pretty seamless meld of archive footage and dramatised scenes which accompany voice-overed interviews with those who encountered our hero.

Filmmaker Roger Donaldsons latest doco McLaren. Its all very interesting, and at times we are moved by the drama of a key race or the tragic loss of a racing colleague.

But its no Senna, a biopic it will inevitably be compared to by dint of its F1 connections and inherent tragedy.

Whereas Senna used its drivers-eye camera work to get the viewers pulse racing, McLaren feels like a more leisurely, less urgent affair. Neither does the film touch on anything which might cast a shadow on McLarens gleaming reputation.

Its hard to believe any winner on the world circuit would have made it through the 1960s ignoring the bevy of beauties who threw themselves at F1 heroes, but McLaren comes off as spotless: the first Kiwi to break through on to the world stage, and the youngest (at his time) to win Formula One, but with nary a professional rivalry nor personal hiccup.

Everyone speaks in glowing terms about his innovation and smarts, and if the film doesnt give us any grit, well maybe there wasnt any, in which case this proves the maxim that nice guys can finish first. .

Google Photo Books can now be designed and ordered on iOS & Android - Duration: 2:02.

Google Photo Books can now be designed and ordered on iOS & Android

Google Photos was one of the big tentpole features to be highlighted at the company's I/O 2017 keynote last week, and Photo Books were one of the neat new additions to the service.

It basically allows users to browse their photo collections and select images to be added to a physical picture album that will be printed and mailed to their door.

Now Google has updated their mobile Photos apps, so you can create your photo albums right from an iOS or Android device.

The new Photo Books feature went live last week shortly after it was announced, but unfortunately it required users to log into Google Photos on a desktop browser.

The update to the Photos app on iOS and Android means that's no longer a requirement, and it still includes the option to have Google's AI automatically select and format the best pictures.

There's only two types of book to choose from at this point, unfortunately, but the prices are more than reasonable.

A 7-inch by 7-inch softcover album with 20 pages will cost you $10, while 20-page hardcover version measures 9 inches by 9 inches and is priced at $20.

The other major downside is that Google is only making these Photo Books available to users in the US.

There's no word yet on when or if Google will open this feature up to other parts of the world, but they hopefully will soon.
