It must have been a slap upside his stiff upper lip when Prince Charles, direct heir
to the British monarchy, was snubbed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in favour of his more
attractive elder son and his glamourous wife. Many of us reading this today will likely
be dead by the time Prince William assumes the throne.
Queen Elizabeth, now 90, is showing no signs of packing it in and, with 95 year old Prince
Philip agilely matching Her Royal Highness� every step, Prince Charles sits on the sidelines
waiting for fate to deliver the mortal blow. He must feel like he�s locked inside a Samuel
Beckett play. Waiting, and waiting. Of course, we all know why our PM recently
sent out an invitation for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, a.k.a William and Kate, to visit
Canada in the lead up to next year�s celebrations of Canada�s 150th birthday. They�re young,
and they�re hot looking, like the Trudeaus. They are not as hot, mind you, as Justin Trudeau
thinks he�s hot, although beauty being in the eye of the beholder, it could be a toss-up
between Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau and the former Kate Middleton as to who the international
paparazzi deem to be the fairest. Both women live in fairy tales, after all.
One�s a real princess; the other seems to think she is.
While protocol would suggest the direct heir to the throne should have received Trudeau�s
invitation, and not someone who will likely be standing second in line for years to come,
the idea of photo ops with Prince Charles and Camilla likely did not turn the crank
of the Trudeaus. Prince Charles, after all, is now 67, and
therefore a geezer entitled to Britain�s old age pension, not some dashing Joe Fresh.
And, as for the former Camilla Parker-Bowles, well, not only is she is a year older than
Prince Charles but she is not exactly Princess Diana photogenic.
Besides, if Charles and Camilla were invited, some dirty, rotten Canadian newspaper columnist
would likely dredge up the six-minute bedtime telephone chat between the two that a scanning
device happened to record back in 1989. Yes, that embarrassing conversation during
which a pining Prince Charles wished he �could live inside (Camilla�s) trousers,� even
if bad luck had him being her Tampax. Google it if you must.
For a man who would be king, Prince Charles can�t seem to win for losing, with genetics
working both ways. His maternal grandmother, the beloved Queen
Mum, was 101 when she died in 2002, which means Queen Elizabeth still has another 11
years on the throne if she can match her mother�s longevity.
That will make Charles 78 years old when, and if, the Queen hits 101, and Prince William
only 45. Is that Godot on the horizon? Or just an illusion?
Prince Charles has been first in line to the throne since 1952, which will make him the
oldest to ever accede to the throne, even if it were to happen by lightning strike tomorrow.
The record was previously held by William IV, who was approaching 65 when he became
sovereign following the death of George III in 1830.
To be precise, he waited 64 years, 10 months and five days to be crowned.
Last heard, Prince Charles was filling time by contemplating inviting the Welsh soccer
team to his home at Clarence House to congratulate them for surprisingly making it to the semi
finals of the recent Euro 2016 tournament, where they lost 2 0 to the eventual winner,
Portugal. This was around the time Charles and Camilla
were in Wales, participating at a bread kneading contest at an historic bakery.
One could almost quip that Prince Charles was at least earning his dough while waiting
out the next invitation. He now knows, however, that one from the Trudeaus

Prince William Admits He's Sad Princess Diana Will Never Meet His Family - Duration: 3:49.
Prince William is opening up about the death of his late mother Princess Diana in his most
honest and revealing interview ever.
William, 34, spoke with British GQ and posed for a series of intimate family portraits
with Princess Kate, Princess Charlotte and Prince George for they magazine�s July cover
story.
The royal admits that he is �in a better place� about the upcoming 20th anniversary
of Diana�s death but also revealed that he is sad that she isn�t able to meet her
grandchildren.
�I would like to have had her advice,� he said.
�I would love her to have met Catherine and to have seen the children grow up.
It makes me sad that she won�t, that they will never know her.�
Still, he is coping better with her tragic death.
�I can talk about her more openly, talk about her more honestly, and I can remember
her better, and publicly talk about her better,� he said of Diana.
�It has taken me almost 20 years to get to that stage.
I still find it difficult now because at the time it was so raw.
And also it is not like most people�s grief, because everyone else knows about it, everyone
knows the story, everyone knows her.� William also revealed that he wouldn�t be able to
cope with his very public role if it wasn�t for Kate and their children.
�Stability at home is so important to me,� he said.
�I want to bring up my children in a happy, stable, secure world and that is so important
to both of us as parents.
I want George to grow up in a real, living environment, I don�t want him growing up
behind palace walls, he has to be out there.
The media make it harder but I will fight for them to have a normal life.� The prince
also talked about Heads Together, his joint mental health campaign with Kate and brother
Prince Harry.
William explained that the trio is aiming to smash the taboo surrounding mental illness
in the united kingdom and trying to open up the conversation among families about mental
health.
�I cannot understand how families, even behind closed doors, still find it so hard
to talk about it,� he said.
�I am shocked we are so worried about saying anything about the true feelings we have.�
Dylan Jones, the editor of GQ said in a statement that William�s honest interview was unprecedented.
�Never before has Prince William talked with such honesty about the death of his mother
and his attitudes towards the tabloid press, together with insight into one of his chosen
charities,� he said.
�[Interviewer Alastair Campbell]�s interview is complemented by pictures which we believe
amplify The Duke and Duchess�s engaging determination to spearhead a different side
of sovereignty.
We are enormously proud of this interview, not least because we have been able to bring
the issues supported by Heads Together to a wider public.�
This isn�t the first time that William has appeared on the cover of a magazine.
In June 2016, the royal made history by taking part in a cover story for British LGBT magazine
Attitude.
Kate has also been a cover star in her own right.

President Trump's first stop was Saudi Arabia.
And, I don't know about you,
but I was waiting for him to spark an international incident.
You know, like, I was waiting for him to walk off the plane
going, "So many ninjas!"

But, luckily, that didn't happen.
And, now, Trump hoped that people would focus
on his carefully crafted speech about Islam and terrorism,
but, uh, unfortunately, his mouth
was soon overtaken by his hands.
REPORTER: You may have seen this rather strange image
of President Trump standing alongside the Saudi king
and the president of Egypt,
all off them with their hands on a glowing white orb.
It looks less like a summit of world leaders
and more like a scene out of a bizarro Captain Planet.
You know? "Let our powers combine. Oil!"
"Plutonium!"
"Spray tan!"
(laughter)
Now... Now, to be fair,
that's not all that Trump did with his hands in Saudi Arabia.
The president also signed a deal to sell the Saudis
$110 billion in weapons,
which-- can I just say for a second?
Like, what a load of bull(bleep), right?
No, no, Trump goes to Saudi Arabia
and never once mentions radical Islamic terrorism,
which is what he condemned Obama for, right?
And on top of that, he signs the biggest arms deal
in American history with the Saudis,
the same people he even said were behind 9/11.
Really? What, was Trump sitting there with them like...
(imitating Trump): "All right, you got to promise
you're not gonna use these to do another 9/11."
They're like, "No, Donald, we'll never do another 9/11.
We'll do a completely different date."
"Deal.
Wait, what?"
But if you are worried about American security,
luckily, President Trump's speech
did offer a grim warning to young Muslims
considering a career in terrorism.
Your life will be empty,
your life will be brief
and your soul
will be fully condemned.
I-I'm sorry, those were Trump's wedding vows.

So, all in all,
Trump handled the Saudi trip well,
and he was just getting started.
Next stop, Israel,
where the president got a chance to place his hands
on one of Jerusalem's holiest sites,
the Western Wall.
And you know that made a big impression on Trump.
"You see this, folks?
"They build one wall 2,000 years ago,
zero Mexicans in their whole country."
(laughter)
And by the way,
my favorite part of Trump's time in Israel
was the part when he didn't know
what part of the world Israel was in.
We just got back from the Middle East.
We just got back from Saudi Arabia and, uh...
(laughter)
Everyone's reaction was captured by that guy in the corner.
Just look at him.
Look at his face.
While Trump is saying that.
He's like, "Do you know how much work I had to do
"just to get in this room,
and this asshole didn't even look at a map?"
But it wasn't long before Trump's hands
were once again dominating his trip,
because instead of his visits
and looking at the effect on U.S.-Israel relations,
everyone was focused on Donald-Melania relations.
The thing that got an enormous amount of media attention
had to do with Melania Trump, the first lady, and some video.
Was this an actual slap,
or did she just pull her hand away?
She pulled her hand away,
but I didn't quite see the contact of a slap.
Wow.
Leave it to Fox News not to recognize
what rejection from a woman looks like.

After seeing what Trump's hands
were capable of, clearly, the new...
the newly elected French president
wasn't taking any chances.
NEWSWOMAN: This handshake with France's new president,
Emmanual Macron, it went on and on.
So long, it appears President Trump
tried to pull away, their knuckles turning white.
NEWSMAN: He told a French publication,
"My handshake with President Trump was not innocent..."
Wow! That was the first time
Donald Trump was on the receiving end
of an unwelcome hand grab.
And what's worse is that after that,
President Macron bragged about it to Billy Bush.
(French accent): You should have seen him.
I moved on him like a bitch. Ah.
When you are famous, you can do it. Yeah!
I just grabbed him, and he was like,
"Let go, Macron, let go!"
I said, "You like that, Trump, don't you? You like that!
Yeah, you like it. You like it."
-(cheering, applause) -Now, uh...
Now, of course, that handshake didn't distract
from Trump's hands' real agenda, at the NATO meeing,
and that was finger-wagging.
Because during his speech, Trump lambasted the Europeans
for not spending more on their militaries.
And he wouldn't reaffirm America's commitment
to defend Europe.
(like Trump): Look, if it was up to me,
I'd fight for you, but it's up to the orb now.
(laughter)
And the orb says no.
So in one day, Trump may have done
what Russia has been trying to do for 50 years.
Right? And that is break the alliance
between the United States and Europe.
Which would make it easier for Russia to extend its powers
in places like the Ukraine.
And I don't know if Trump even recognized
how bad this trip was for U.S.-European relations.
Because when he got back, he tweeted...
Now, unfortunately, the big results
aren't what most Americans would have hoped for.

that Europe cannot completely rely on the U.S. anymore.
TRANSLATOR: The times when we can completely count on others,
they are over to a certain extent.
I've experienced this in the last few days,

Yeah. Clearly, Angela Merkel got one look at Trump,
and was like, "All right, our fate is in our own hands,
because his clearly ruin everything they touch."

That a rocket can't burn in a vacuum.
The words hoax.
Space flight.
Moon landing.
The Earth is flat.
And stupid.
Were few of the words being thrown around in there.
So.
I'm going to run this model rocket engine.
In this giant vacuum chamber.
And let you be the judge.
Alright yeah.
Look at this baby this looks great.
The scroll is done.
This is my idea.
to mount the rocket engine inside the tube.
And what this is going to do.
I got this idea.
From the inside of a scroll compressor.
And what this is going to do.
Is not only hold the rocket in the center of the tube.
It's also going to allow us.
To see how much force the rocket is producing.
I like the fact that it's kind of like a scale.
That looks pretty sinister.

Like Prince Charles Left Diana.
Evil Camilla Parker Bowles strikes again!
This time out the Duchess of Cornwall used her acid tongue to absolutely level Kate Middleton
while traveling together in Queen Elizabeth�s birthday parade known as Trooping the Colour.
Apparently the clash started innocently enough.
Kate had simply whispered to Camilla mentioning her awe of Queen Elizabeth.
Her majesty is slowly but surely fading, yet she was traveling in the same carriage that
carried her on her wedding day, waving at her adoring well-wishers as if she felt like
a teenager.
According to the July 8th print edition of GLOBE, at first Camilla told Kate to worry
about herself and Prince William�s wife thought for a second that the comment was
meant to show a bit of concern for her.
Camilla quickly chased it with her true sentiment.
She told Kate that once she produces a royal heir William will be done with her and take
a mistress, someone he really loves.
This is exactly what bumbling Prince Charles did when he was married to Princess Diana
� and that mistress was CAMILLA!
As if that wasn�t bad enough Camilla then told her that when she files for divorce she
better not expect to keep her child because it�ll belong with the royals!
Needless to say, the very pregnant Duchess was extremely upset by Camilla�s cruelty
and it was Prince Harry who was also traveling with them that demanded his rotten stepmother
shut the hell up.
He�s the last person that wants to be reminded of a prince taking a mistress, especially
while sitting there with the women that helped to bust up his fathers� marriage to Princess
Diana.
It makes me wonder, do you think that Harry and William both believe that if his father
hadn�t kept Camilla as his side chick for thirty years maybe their mother would still
be alive?
