Google Chrome Browser Settings - Duration: 3:29.

Hello and welcome to mums technology.

The home of tech made simple.

Today we are looking at Browser Settings In Google Chrome.

We will keep it simple and only cover the information you will need to know.

First of all Navigate to the drop down in the upper right of the screen represented

by 3 dots.

Then Click settings near the end of the menu.

In the On Startup section you can choose your preferences between opening a new tab page,

continuing where you left off and open a specific set of pages.

Perhaps you always want to load your facebook, email and google homepage.

We are going to add the google homepage instead of a new tab.

The next relevant section is appearance.

Now we can select to show a home button which appears in the top of the screen this will

take us to whatever home page we select it is currently set as a new tab but you can

change this.

We can also choose to always show the bookmarks bar for any bookmarks/shortcuts you may want

to use.

Next is search, search is the default search engines you want to use.

Many browsers come with different search engines although it is best to leave it alone unless

a program changes it for you and you want to change it back.

The people sections allows you to have different accounts on your browser.

Guest browsing allows for anyone to use the machine by selecting the guest account above.

This means that they wont share your bookmarks or save data for passwords and forms.

You can also check for allowing people to add and sign in with their own accounts so

that they can use their own data.

However keep in mind this will also bring across their extensions.

The privacy section allows for various features such as predictive typing for websites.

This is a useful feature for quickly navigating to what you want or correcting spelling.

You can learn more about these by clicking the blue learn more link.

The passwords and forms section allow you to enable autofill where the browser will

remember previous answers to certain details such as your email and address so you can

quickly enter it on other sites.

You can also choose to use Google Smart Lock for passwords so you can log into services

quickly.

This is not recommended if you share your account.

Web content allows for basic appearance settings such as font size, custom fonts and page zoom

if you struggle to read certain sizes of font.

You can then choose to automatically translate languages on web pages in the languages section.

This is a useful addition.

The downloads section lets you set a default download location, of course you can set it

to ask you every time you choose to download something.

The accessibility section allows you to add extensions which can help you with any issues

you may have.

You can always reset the chrome settings to default if anything goes wrong.

hello class I wanted to make a quick

tutorial to help you simplify the way

that you're going to turn in your weekly

journals so let's say this is your

weekly journal I'm going to click share

and this is if you want to do it in

Google Docs and then you're going to

click copy link now you can change it so

that I can comment or I definitely will

not edit but you can set it so that I

can comment if you like and click copy

link and then go to a word document

paste the link just right click and

paste and if you hit the spacebar it's

going to create a link and all you do is

just keep this link in a Word document

save it

my computer is really thinking and you

can save it as um always save mine from

word 97 to 2003 and you can save it as a

sorry about that

weekly journals you call it summer 2017

who like you call it whatever you want

Math 55 whatever you like and try to

find my folder one of my folders I could

just use any folder but I can save it

inside the folder and then once I have

that I'll just go to your Dropbox and

then submit it in Dropbox as a Word

document the only thing you'll have to

do is every week you'll just submit the

same document but you're going to change

journal see entry one entry 2 entry 3

all you have to do is just change this

or add your journal and then all you

have to do is submit the same Word

document every week and the link will
