Hi, I'm Jan Rezab, this is Social Media Minute.

The hunt for followers is on again.

Remember when we talked about that followers really don't matter?

And on most platforms, they actually don't and that's it.

But they actually do matter on Instagram.

Because if you don't have any followers

no one is gonna be watching your stories.

Because you essentially have to follow someone on Instagram

in order to see their Stories.

Not only updates but actual Instagram Stories.

We've been mostly watching a rate

of the Stories to followers audience ratios.

And 1/3 to 1/5 of the audience

sees your Instagram Stories. That's a lot of activity in those Stories.

The problem that it naturally creates is that companies are now understanding

they have to start building a follower base on Instagram again.

And Instagram was very clever about this.

They do not allow to create follow ads on Instagram

which means most of the Instagram audience that companies actually do acquire

tend to be in some level organic.

And if they do launch follower campaigns

it usually ends up costing a lot of money.

Incomparable to the old Facebook likes.

It's now costing between 1.5 to several euros

to get a follower on Instagram.

That is very expensive. If you want a million followers

you're gonna end up paying several million dollars

for that campaign.

So that's not that easy and companies are still standing by and sort of thinking,

"Are we gonna make that investment or not?"

How do you go and acquire Instagram followers organically?

There are a couple ways you can do it.

You can do many influencer campaigns

and put in Stories that mention your brand.

Then ask the influencer to ask his audience to follow you.

You can do hashtag competitions or campaigns.

Again, asking people to follow you and your brand.

Or of course, do a campaign that generally integrates Instagram

so people go out and proactively find you.

These are couple of the ways

but followers, unfortunately, it's very sad to say,

starting mattering again.

Hello! I am Pastor Laura de Salcedo, as every Sunday we are here to reflect a little today about the word of the Lord.

The theme we have today is interesting because it reveals our faith. It is how to discover the faith that we have in the Lord?

And above all, how can he magnify his name? In the midst of the fulfillment of the word that the Lord has spoken to our lives.

If you are a person you have heard from God, if you are a person who has made known God but has not yet discovered his wonders,

Elizabeth was able to discover God's response to her heart's desire to have a child, and even in old age the Lord granted her son. The Bible really tells the story of many women who dared to believe God.

My Beloved Ones, because it is one thing to hear from God and another thing is to believe God, who believes God, wait according to the word that God has given him.

So if you have received a word from God, if you have received a mandate from God, if you have received a promise from God, I want to encourage you to continue to believe. Because He is going to bring an answer to your life.

Elizabeth meeting Mary, as Luke 1 tells us; Elizabeth met Mary and was able to glorify the name of the Lord, because they were receiving God's blessing,

and how beautiful it is when we receive a response from God that we can share it with our friends and brothers and glorify the Lord together.

Today we receive a response from God, that is why the theme is appropriate for our lives, we begin today in the congregation,

we came here to Port Saint Lucie with a God-given word that He would here add to the congregation that He would give us To those who are to be saved, that there are families that need to be ministered, who do not yet know the Lord,

but He has prepared them from before the foundation of the world to be pastored and taught to magnify the kingdom of God here in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

And today we begin our first service in the congregation that the Lord gave us, and the first family that says that it will be with us until the Lord allows it.

So we are very happy, because no matter the place of the earth where God has you, if He gave you a word, He will fulfill it, and how good it is to glorify Him and testify when we have received that answer from Him.

My hair tutorial that I recently uploaded went down very well

and

it also revealed that the question about my hair color wasn't the only question you've had

however, there was a lot of feedback

So I've decided to put the FAQs

together to create a Q&A video

And now, we'll just get through the quesions together

then you'll get to know me a little more

So, let's see..

uhm..

What's that accent/dialect?

Well, I'm from.. I was born in Cologne, Germany

But I grew up in Franconia, Southern Germany

So since I grew up there

and went to school there

I do have that southern accent ("unfortunately")

I'm from the area around Bayreuth, Bamberg and Nuremberg

And I think that dialect will never disappear

Because we pronounce the "r" differently

And I don't even try to speak properly

Because it sounds weird

Of course I try to speak so that everyone understands me

but

I'd never try to speak correct German

(tries and fails)

yeah, because it sounds like sh..

I'm from Franconia *southern German greeting*

(tries to sneeze)

nah

When did you first cut your hair and why?

I was 16

and yeah, went to school in Bayreuth

My hair used to be long like this

The color was my natural color like this

I've had a few different lengths in my hair

The shortest was until this point

and a few strands down there

And I looked quite weird

And it was a winters day

and there was snow

and rain

and stuff

and so my hair was quite.. i don't now, ugly

and then I thought

NOPE.

I don't like this

And I'm not feeling well with that

But I didn't want to go short directly

Because I always thought

No, short hair is for old women who want to be freaky and stuff

shitty cliché I know

So I've cut them up to my shoulders first

to make a pony tail

in case I don't like it

and then I thought I could chop off a little more

So I had a bob

It didn't suit me that well

because my face is quite round shaped

with chubby cheeks

so I went short step by step

But it all happened between the age of 16 and 17

and of course I've made a few experiments with my hair

anyway, I never grew out my hair again

until now, I'm 23

And yeah, the reason was that I didn't feel pretty

and it looked like sh..

And I wanted some change

Did you ever regret cutting your hair?

NO.

Really, I didn't

I didn't even cry in the hairdressers chair

like "ohhhh my hair is gone"

never.

My family liked it

In my school..well

not so good

But I was never popular anyway

I've always been the maverick

bird of paradise

Nerd

idiot, don't know

and so there have been comments like

"Pancake Face"

because it emphasized my face a little too much

But hey, that was me

and everyone recognized me

but.. yeah, I've never regretted it

but I had to take a lot of flak

But you gotta deal with that

There's something about an illness you have. What illness is it?

I've posted at the beginning of January on Instagram

That I do have a diagnosis

which is called and intense

"Heart Valve Failure"

sounds quite.. bad

and it is so

but there's always something worse I guess

and yes you're allowed to whine

and you're allowed to cry

but..

I don't even know where to start

The diagnosis just means that my heart valves do not close properly

And there are 3 types: a light, medium and intense one

When I was 5 or 6 years old

a cardiac murmur was already diagnosed

and that was called "Mitral Verve Prolapse"

Just a little insufficiency

but no reason to worry

and I've always been resilient

and never had problems with the murmur

yes, you could hear it sometimes

for example in stressful situations

or when I was nervous

there was a little "toot"

But, as I said, I've never had any problems

until February 2016

I've had heart issues and pain then

And so went to the cardiologist

I've had to check the prolapse every 1-2 years anyway

everything was always okay

my blood pressure has always been low

so - nothing bad

and, to be honest, they didn't find anything

but it got worse

last summer

I started to feel

well, I was a trainee back then

and I've always been

ambitious

and resilient, I've worked more that I had to

I was always there, never missed a day

only if I was really sick

but someday, I felt like I couldn't do all this anymore

and I reached my limit faster and faster

I ceased

this also had effects on my job

I couldn't do everything as I was used to it

In November/December 2016

I was sick very often

they gave me antibiotics

but nothing got better

so we called the cardiac center in Cologne

and told them about my condition

if we should come over or not

and then they told us

they will talk with a cardiologist about my case

and if there's a need to talk about it

they will call us back

2hrs later they called us back

Ms Gebhardt we need to talk about your condition

The diagnosis could have been a coincidence

The light insufficency which I had since I was born

And who never made any problems

Was at least medium or higher

They didn't know if we already knew this

But at first we thought

Okay, it's at least medium..

This means that

probably a sinew or more have ripped

they told us that a few more check-ups were needed

to see how bad my condition was

and because of all the symptoms that I had

like exhaustion, tiredness.. and that I have problems going upstairs

means only when I strain

tiredness

and, you know, the symptoms I just mentioned

and then the check-ups started

In January, they made an echocardiography

which means that I had to swallow a tube while being under narcosis

This is necessary to have a better view over my heart

Then there was revealed that the mitral verve is loose

.. very loose.

and that there's a lot of blood floating backwards

and that this is the reason for all the problems I mentioned

(sips)

Further, they told me that this has to be operated

Which is called Heart Valve reconstruction

This will be done in July 2017

That's how it is

And yes, you can't see anything

This is also a problem because there are people who don't believe me and think this is pure imagination

I don't have blue lips or smth like that

but you can see

but if it's too much for me, I'm becoming pale, tired and I'm just sitting around

hoping to get home soon

enough, this was quite detailed

a little insight into my illness

my heart valve insufficiency

What do you like about yourself and what not?

(laughing retarded)

As someone who wasn't that popular in school

and got criticized a lot

there are a few things that I don't like about myself

first: my lips

my bottom lip is okay

but my upper lip is horrible

there's.. nothing

and I don't like this

I already thought about lip injections

just a little

because there's..NOTHING

I really, really, really don't like my lips

lipsticks do look ugly

I cannot wear dark lipsticks

because it's only a..slot

no, I don't like this

further, what I don't like are my ears

because A) they are so tiny

and B) they look different

this ear is small as well, yes, and it's a litte round and protrudes

and this one is small as well but doesn't protrude as much as the other one

I don't know why

But these are the things I don't like about myself

But I like my hands

I think my hands do look good and very neat

I'm proud of them (wtf)

And.. my nose

I think..

my nose is somehow

somehow cute

a little squeezy

my nose.. I'm proud (WTF)

And my eyebrows.

I think that there are worse accidents ;)

they're okay

How long do you need to get ready?

It's not that long

I'm showering on a daily basis

and I need about 45mins including doing my makeup, blowing my hair dry etc.

I think that there are people who take longer time

Or I hope so

And, regarding my hair

How and with what kind of products do you style your hair?

I'm using a regular hair dryer

and a ROTATING HEAT BRUSH:D

of course I can do a tutorial about how to use that thing

I could use the hair dryer and a brush

but I'm too lazy for that

and I'm too clumsy for that

it's way easier to

to put the brush into my hair after they are blown dry

And to wait a few seconds until they are curled a little

So they are a little more fluffy and formed

and I think this is important for me

because I usually do have a VERY flat head

and somedays, when the bangs are too wavy, I use a flat iron

and regarding the products

for the back of my head I'm using volume powder

and for the rest regular hairspray (nothing special)

it really doesn't matter which one

whatever is on sale

and I'm just spraying a bit on my bangs

not that much..sorry

and then, many of you wanted to know WHO does my hair

My hairdresser is called Shawn

I met Shawn at the hairdresser of my choice around the corner from where I live

and since them, I'm following him wherever he goes and wherever he works

Meanwhile, he's working at Liebeshaar Friseure

In the city centre of Cologne, Ehrenstrasse

and is cutting my hair there :)

I really recommend that if you're from Cologne or nearby

This was the most asked question

So if you don't end up watching the whole video

Here's the deal: if you still don't know what you want to do

Do what you have to do

Why? 'Cos your calling is something now

But it's progressive

God reveals your calling as time goes by

Maybe when you were younger you heard you'd be a missionary

OK, but what kind of missionary?

Where am I going, what am I gonna do?

In which area of society am I gonna work at?

So your calling is developed as you walk in obedience

So, what do I want to do in life? I wanna be a martyr

How am I gonna get to the point of becoming a martyr?

I will develop my calling until I get to the point of dying for Jesus

Until I get there, I have to walk in obedience

I keep doing whatever I have to do

When I first started, I had to do certain things, and I kept going

"Oh, but, Luca, what do I have to do?" You know what you have to do

It's right in front of you, you know your duties

While you don't know what you want

While you don't know your calling

Do your duties

Study, testify of Jesus

Pray, fast, be useful to your local church

Serve your community, serve those around you

Help the young ones, the old ones, help everyone, do what you have to do

Do your Christian duties

And God will develop your calling, and you will find it out, bit by bit, day by day

Your calling will be developed until you realise you're doing exactly what you had to

I had to sit down with Jesus and have a coffee

There's only been a handful of times where I've been sitting in the audience of a bodybuilding show..

And some guys comes out and you just go 'WOW'.

You know, Dorian the first time he came out..

The showdown between Flex Wheeler and Ronnie Coleman in '98.

There's just been a few times where you looked at somebody and they were just.. INCREDIBLE.

Mindblowing.. and Big Ramy is THAT guy.

The thing is

Ramy is DIAMOND.

But the diamond is RAW..

The diamond has no value unless you go polish it.

Now you have something that's very very expensive.

Ramy is a greater and different type of freak than me and Jay was.

It's almost like he's a mutant of both of us..

Because he has the size of Jay but then he has a small waist

And he flows like crazy.

There's never been anybody like that at all.

That guy is dangerous

There's never been anyone that's built like that guy ever in the business of bodybuilding.

If this guy puts it together.. EVERYONE IS IN TROUBLE.

Sometimes the Olympia is about callouts

Ramy had good callouts and anyone who is compared next to him in prejudging..

In terms of density, hardness, muscularity, polish.. He overwhelmed

Still the biggest guy for sure.

He has the body to do whatever possible.. He can do whatever he wants with his body.

We're gonna see the best Ramy we've ever seen

And that's a very dangerous look.

Because he's bigger than everyone else, his symmetry is better than most of those guys up there..

If his conditioning is as good as these other guys, how does the guy lose?

I think when they put Ramy next to Phil he's certainly challenging and pushing him

And he has the ability to beat him.

People who know Ramy he's probably not only going to take it to the next level..

But redefine the sport.

That guy is a definite contender for the Mr. Olympia.

He's got the size, obviously some condition and they talk about seperation and maturity but the guy is young.

RAMY!!

He has the mindset to not only reach those high expectations but go over them.

And that's with it takes in bodybuilding..

You have to have a mindset to be able to go and take your body to the next level.

You have to have the mindset to when you come away from a contest that you don't win

To be able to sitback and say 'What can I learn from this and how can I get better?'

He's like the 100 year wait.

He's the guy that comes along every once in a while and just BLOWS EVERYONE OUT OF THE WATER.

I guarantee that he will be Mr. Olympia within the next 3 years.

Big Ramy is definitely what I would consider when you look at Mr. Olympia and you wanna see a FREAK

On all levels. Size, condition, package, everything.

I still believe that Ramy is the biggest a treat.
