[Music] hi guys so lately I've gotten a lot of
questions like in person and like over social media and stuff exactly like how
I do my makeup I'm gonna show you guys what I do I'll tell you the products I
use and how I do it and we go with a Sephora and stuff I do get a few
professional type products but the other half of my products are just like store-bought
from my target I always
start with something that moisturizes my face and Utah my face gets so so super
dry I lived in a beach like area my whole life so I've never really had to
worry about that until I moved here to Utah such time so I always have to make
sure I'm moisturize all the time so I always have to make sure I moisturize
all the time well it's my face gets like all crackly and everything sometimes
when there's really like that I started using recently it's by NYX
it's called honey dunya and I just get this from Target so that's what that is
it's got honey golden flakes and collagen basically I'm gonna put this
all over my face so it's really sticky no like it's not actually really sticky
but looks like it would be I just put a streak
[Music] all over my face
and I wish I felt like a dropper or something instead because not really
like that it's just been in all over after you got in and this all lived in
everything I usually go to primer because I get a
lot of I miss in my skin and use this one - as well
it's a photo loading primer is anti we already missed I feel if it also makes
my face super smooth but hey maybe primer suppose stupid I put it all over my
face I'm just doing my fingertips I don't
know I put it all over especially make sure I put it over where I have a
breakout stop who's it between that helps tone down the redness okay got
that one it's really nice and smooth on my face now I swear that when you do me
up stuff it's like a magic worker because usually after I put on makeup
even if I use just like a really nice lotion on my face before me that my face
will still feel so dry and my makeup fulfill weird and everything next we're
gonna move on to the foundation but I use Estee Lauder Double Wear because I
make that extra coverage it's really nice because you don't have to put a lot
with a little goes a long way with this like you just throw a little on your
brush and you blend it in and then if you have some trouble spots that you
want to put back over I just feel like a little bit on my finger and it covers it
right up is a couple different things to put on my foundation well either one use
like use one of these fancy egg sponges which I hadn't been using a lot lately
lately I've been using my ELF foundation blending brush and I really like it
actually but it's been like $50 on then it was like just a couple bucks and it
works just a little good to me yeah any other brush that else you seriously just
get these a Target or even Walmart I can show them to you now so I just put tiny
bit on my brush like so so then I usually kind of dotted
around so I can see if I need to put more on my brush before I start blending
all the way which I do just a tiny bit more again and then just that way you
know as I start like blending it out it fits all spread out all over my face
and then I just start dabbing it in tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap but
seriously it's just daddy I'm not questioning the circular motion just
stabbing from the middle of my face outward [Music]
okay I think I got it all I do have a couple three cows right now so like I
said get in trouble spots just get a little bit on the spot you're gonna just
flip it out around okay this day water the thing with that with
a single or double where it actually as you put on it starts to set but it takes
about three minutes for it to set feel like expands and so that way actually
lasts all day because it's an all-day wear foundation and it literally lasts
all day doesn't matter polishing what about it or have kids flopping on my
face because we all know what happens it like literally stays it's the most
magical thing ever I can like lean on Skye!
For example at church I went to lay my head on his shoulder with his
wife trick shirt on and my first instinct always even still and I've been
wearing this foundation for lucky here it's like okay I might make it spin
arrived off on this shirt but it doesn't but it's it's literally space I use the
color tawny and this it matches well with my self tanner again it's really
kind of creamy and really natural-looking I love it
so it's so so nice as its setting I'll tell you about what I'm going to use next
I do concealer around my eyes because I know that I have raised my eyes from
24-hour work between our kids and our businesses so I use this to conceal
under my eyes and kinda make it coming Chloe around my face to the kind that I
use is the L'Oreal Paris truth match sorry about my nails they're so bad
my youthful Oriole parish true match and the color fair to life I give it a
little bit lighter full because I want it to glow make my face kind of glowy
underneath my eyes so I don't look dead like I do a lot of times people let's be
honest no one wears makeup every day I mean not when you have six kids and it's
w123 my foundation feels like it's pretty set now just completely dry or
really smooth filling so I put okay for this part it is a little eggy
kind of like in a triangle and this over let me just thing over here it
underneath my eye really good you just make sure it's super fine then
I'm you use this nice powder pink color go I think that's what that branding is
we'll go save it cuz it looks like it and I use it in translucent because I
don't like adding a bunch of extra color to my face so this light literally just
sets my powder so I take it and I get it on my sponge thingy and then I let it
like really loosely I don't pat it all in or move Oz very dupes luck everywhere
and so I look lovely you like this then people also do have like concealer and
that various help contour their face I just do it under hide you let it bake so
that way it sets really well I don't know about you but whenever I used to
conceal and I didn't bake under my eyes my foundation and everything would get
like really gummy and really like those mines underneath my eyes so that's why I
bake and because it holds and sets it very well so we're gonna let it bake for a
minute I know go down my streamer but I curl it
upstream we're really happy cheeps trainer okay we're going to dust
off that power so I just kind of gets it off and then I kinda just blend it in to
rest my face because I don't like putting a ton of extra bonus when I face
so I don't listen to pop it on and voila and I just use this powder brush psych
Hold royal and langnickel and it's purple matches my hair so why not
so next I do a little bit of contouring to my face I recently got this blossom
color from covergirl and it's this one it's really nice it's really thought of
seeing a brown very summery and then I just use this brush by elf
it's an angled blush brush I have another purchase like by elf and it's a
contouring brush which is this one but I honestly I'm not very good with it so I
just stick to what I know just get it on the peg knock off the excess and go
blend it in and kind of upward [Music]
see familiar globally not super bad or anything like that either move this
thing with this side go underneath like between your cheeks longer jawline so
just like right underneath your cheekbone
around my face to my temples a little bit and then actually go on this
site somebody knows a little bit too because I have a big nose
anything why wouldn't I want to try and make my nose look smaller like I said I
think it's all in my head from all the things I hear but right there and that's
all I do own that and then I put a little bit flushed up too and it's
another covergirl trublend one it's called beep mom if you can read that
it's really three names pretty colors and just get a little bit on my powder
brush by elf again and I just blend it into just a tiny bit I don't like
putting too much I don't like that really blues rosy cheeks but I do it
just for an extra pop of color and then highlight if you sexually be like a
contour kit so it's like have two supposed to be like a bronzer and then
half highlighter but they Roman sweetie Rome
[Music] he came in like he likes to do and get
into my makeup and he got it out and he threw it on the floor and the only half
of it that Burke was the contour part it's just okay cousin my super favorite
anyways so I got this from Target as you can see that's where the glutes are
supposed to be but I really like that I like on it and then I just get my color
brush to just get a little bit on it and then just do it along the top push it in
and Pat it in this stupid bully you may see your face right up sometimes I can
cut it don't swear next a lot of people would do their eyebrows but I don't have
to do my eyebrows because I got my mic related by well by Shelby she's on
Instagram she's hearing Utah and she's super super good but I get a lot of
makeup on my eyes so I like I like to clean it off because they look old
powdery right now so I just use this cleansing water and I just put a little
bit on a q-tip and then I just go through and clean them up wear that
makeup on them so they look darker in all power
[Music] Benna my just cleans them up mixing
effect which is a huge time saver because I have always hated doing my
brows always like always wear eye shadow I use this palette by Mac you can't
really see it so I think this is one of the only like big palettes that Mac
carry because they carry like the little circle ones that are individual but this
is like one of their first color palettes they might have to it you may
have a cooler one in the 101 then I got the one on one but it has all these
colors in it actually use this like really Orange Box you look I don't know
it's colorful time so instead of just doing like a normal color like Browns I
do orange so I use this brush I don't know what it's necessarily cold but it's
a I brush and it's another Mac brush it's the number 2 to 4 brush so that's
the book show you used to do above my island and that's why I start with and I
use this color right here to start above my mind I don't know what is cold or a
number or whatever it is because well I just don't know if they can't tell it
doesn't say I'm just gonna start quite blending it in little circular motions
oh my do you really just fit on however much you wanna put on look how bright you
want air or if you want it I like my pants a little bit
so I would just put it on until it doesn't look like wash I'm shadow it's
actually a really good it's super pigmented so it works really good and I
don't have to put a lot of time but sometimes I just do this crazy fine done
using the same color gonna do the same pull over here
[Music] so that's that part put that away for a
minute and then I get out I think these are kind of cold like a dome brush it's
another Mac brush it is two three nine [Music]
the next color use is this one right here oh not that one that's so bad and
so then I just kind of dip my brush in and I put it on the lid of my
[Music] that bad young per minute let me get
this one back out go kind of back already
[Music] okay and then put your accent i am i use
this really gold anyone right here and I put it on like my brow bone just kind of
blend out all the color ease and it makes it pop a little bit more
and I go back to the lightly on keys on z1 and
write down my don't brush in it again and I go right underneath my eye line
No so that's how I do my eyeshadow so luckily I put in the corner my eyes this
kind of like shimmery pinkish tannish color and I just put it right here
perfect makes this my worst fear ever my eyeliner I literally love and hate
eyeliners so much because it's such a complicated thing to do um so from that
I'm liner I use the next professional makeup epic ink liner I'm use everywhere
I've used a pencil I've used a gel I have used it all and I have really like
different shaped eyes and every liner I have ever used even some of the liquid
liners will like as I'm going through the day they gotta start with an off and
don't like give them the crease in my Eye never let the raccoon and it's it's
pretty much the worst thing ever so I found this and it's mix again it's not
target I give it a block and it stays even if I like it water splashed in my
babies or I get really sad and I start crying or anything it does not come off
until I put so to it and I'm rubbing it with a rag or using a makeup remover but
the only way it comes off it literally stays all day and it's really nice to
use and you just kind of shake it [Music]
that's a nice top you can really figure it out if you want to give me a second
while I tried remember this [Music]
really good start oh I got so lucky with that so that's how I do my liner I like
to bring out really high bellowing because it does buying see lastly for
women good yeah Ashley's two different kinds of mascara I supposed to use the
Maybelline New York lashes sensational I'm using in black and so I put that on
first [Music]
okay next I use the Maybelline New York the mega push volume Express and I don't
use a lot of this I just kind of lightly go over the top of my other ones we are
known as again okay so with that sort of you and then I finish off with a setting
spray setting spray it is so so great because if you're a busy person or a
busy mom or any of that it's nice to have something to help everything last I
just started using this master fixed by say studio but it's um is the Maybelline
New York brand and I am like super in love with it it really does work all day
it's super super long-lasting then I just kind of hold it further back I hope
mr. my face [Music]
so you just let it fit and you let it dry and then at this end I almost forgot
what I don't do much with my lips I clean the makeup off my lips I just used
that I'm molecular water these voicing and I just put on a q-tip and give it
off my lips I've never been like a huge lipstick fan or anything I'm more so a
fan of something simple like last night sometimes to get like a color lip gloss
right now I don't know where those are because I have a child who results with
them in Hinesville so I have this clear lip gloss I just got burned out my body right
and I was this little I'm like so and that's
all I do here we go [Music]
this comb through my curls as I do know that my gonna get super curly in
this debut I just flat them out a little bit more
[Music] very lightly go over my bank part
because it's . . . I'm super currently
[Music] I don't like it straight, I like my hair messy
and that's like seriously all I do in my hair and I usually are a little bit of
hairspray to it so I use LT hairspray and then I just shake it
fluff it so that's it thanks for staying with me bearing with me
don't forget to Like comment subscribe but do it we weather guys thanks so much

Cardi B Refusing To Marry Offset: Why She Won't Get Engaged Anytime Soon
Cardi B and Offset are an adorable rap couple, but she isn't ready to seal the deal just
yet.
A source tells HollywoodLife.com that the 'Bodak Yellow' singer is refusing to marry
the Migos star, and the reason why might surprise you.
Aw man!
We were so excited to hear that Cardi B, 24, and Offset, 25, from Migos were engaged, and
devastated when it turned out not to be true.
A source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the "Bodak Yellow" rapper doesn't
have any plans to get married, but that doesn't mean she isn't crazy about Offset!
So, what's the hold up
"Honestly Offset would definitely make Cardi his wifey," said the insider, making it
clear that the Migos rapper isn't the reason that they aren't currently engaged.
However, he cares about her and want to respect her wishes.
"They have talked about it, but Cardi isn't ready for all that just yet."
That's understandable, because Cardi is only 24 years old, and she's been in an
abusive relationship before.
As a matter of fact, she turned to stripping to make her own money to get away from that
relationship, and now she's finally enjoying the freedom of being a successful rapper.
She is focused on one thing right now, making those dollars and breaking out as a music
superstar," said the source.
"She wants to be as big as Nicki [Minaj]!
Until she's where she wants professionally, getting engaged will be on the back burner."
Fair enough.
You do you, girl!
It sounds like Offset will have your back no matter what.

About digging inside and figuring out what are the things that control every
thought every feeling and emotion of your life if you ever wanted to make a
change you wanted to lose weight you wanted to transform your relationship
you wanted to make a shift financially in your life and you find yourself
making progress but pulling back or never really even getting started just
being excited about it for a while talking about it but not really
following through then there's something there something that affects the way you
follow through something affects the quality of your life and I'm here to
tell you there's two things that control everything in your life every thought
every feeling every emotion every action you have in your life what you're
wearing today whether you're gonna turn this off within a few minutes or whether
you're gonna stick with me here for two or three minutes is all controlled by
two things your beliefs and your values whatever you believe if you think life
is just a waste of time doesn't matter what you do or you know you're big-boned
then obviously you're not gonna go for it you're not gonna try to lose weight
you're not gonna go push for that next level of your career or your finances or
or your relationship or anything else beliefs control us but so do our values
some people you know value just kicking back some people value making it happen
some people value their family the most some people are value love but you know
the real challenge is we have values in conflict when you really want to make a
difference in the world or you really want to do well for your family or you
really want to do well financially but simultaneously you know you don't want
upset anybody do you want to be totally honest you want to make everybody happy
when we have conflicts between what we want and what we think we can have or
you know you have a goal of what you really want to make happen but then you
have this other belief inside that says damn stuff never does work those inner
conflicts are what keep people from using all of their energy it's kind of
like taking two steps forward and three steps back people who succeed in any
situation have a pattern of what they do to
succeed and it doesn't matter whether that person is succeeding at a business
context or a relationship context doesn't matter what the environment is
the fundamental lessons or cause for succeeding are very very basic
so if we're looking for the ultimate success for me the very first thing we
have is you have to know what you want which we call know your outcome you're
gonna succeed at anything it's hard to succeed hard to hit a target when you
don't know what it is and as simplistic as this sounds dunno if you most people
really know what they want what do you think yes or no at least not consciously
they don't right and so it's gonna be very very difficult to achieve what you
want waited to having to find it but this is going to become a question we're
gonna want you to ask yourself a lot what is my outcome in this situation I
even have a time management system that I developed it's really a life
management system which we call opa because the first Oh sounds for what's
my outcome cuz you can come up with a question like what should I do and
you're gonna end up with a long list but as you do all these things what'll
happen is you can cross something off your list and still be unfulfilled and
not really achieve anything that matters so you say what's my outcome first then
you begin to decide what you need to do to get the outcome so in this case we
want to say what's your outcome you want to make it a habit ask this question i
watch your the middle of a conversation stop yourself if it seems to going
nowhere and say what's my hell come here I want to connect you don't want to
influence this person you want to learn something what's your outcome for
example how many of you have ever been caught up in an argument and you even
forgot what you're arguing for but you knew you had to win how many been there
say I okay if in the middle of that argument you would ask yourself the
question what's my outcome here I guarantee your brain would say well my
outcomes like the fight my outcomes to resolve this and if you get clear on
what your real target is your behavior will change automatically so very very
few people know what they want and the more you clear you can get about what
you want the more you can really achieve so my right underneath this is the
subset of number one still number one just like clarity is power
clarity is power but more clear you can become but what it is you really want no
more power you're gonna have cuz your brain is like a servomechanism in a a
bomb as an example they sent a missile out it has a servomechanism it knows
what the target is and when the target moves it follows it well your brain is
very similar when you decide exactly what as you want you start picking up
information that you never would have picked up before consciously for example
have you ever bought a particular car maybe or maybe a certain outfit and then
all of a sudden you see that car or outfit everywhere how many got that
experience ai well what's that car outfit already around you all the time
yeah but you didn't notice it because there's a portion of your brain that it
was responsible for one thing and that is screening out 99% of what you see
here and feeling life because if you were to notice everything that's going
on in this room right now you go stark raving mad but most of you don't you put
attention to a small number of things if you could right now notice what millions
of things you can notice my voice you could listen to what I'm saying you can
notice what's going on the background the screens you could hear the air
conditioning you can smell your neighbor off to all that jumping up and down
notice that right you can feel it maybe a little sweat trickling across your
chest or whatever was going on after all that jumping up and down you could feel
the blood maybe vibrating or circulating through your left eardrum but you don't
think about those things so maybe I mentioned them or something triggers it
so this part of our brain that's responsible for deleting most of our
thoughts and most of the things that are going on around us that part of our
brain when you know when it knows what you want it makes you notice those
things you suddenly see that car because it's important it's called the reticular
activating system you don't have to write all the down for sure that's
called Ras the reticular activating system tells your brain what to pay
attention to so when you say that this is what I really want now anything that
relates to that that you would have noticed before will start popping up
into your focus and a lot of times people say it's amazing I decided this
and it was kind of you know synchronicity these things started
popping up all these things were probably around you before but you never
notice them because you haven't decided your outcome
now when you know your outcome you're had a 95% of the population
but that's not enough ii think i don't know is a lot of times you know your
outcome but you lose your drive you know you want something but you forget the
most important thing which is know why you want it
know why you want it you gotta know the purpose in our opa training system when
people are managing their lives we have them ask what's my outcome and then why
do i want this because any person's success so really successful knows
exactly what they want they know why the reason i don't know why is remember I
said yesterday reasons come first answers come second get enough reasons
you can get a big enough why you can figure out hide of you about anything
but you got to have purpose because purpose provides drive now if you know
what you want and you know why you're lightyears ahead of most the population
but you gotta go the step that most people seem to avoid and that is you got
to take massive what that's right and a key word there is massive massive action
can be a cure-all when you know what you're after and you know why you want
it cuz we know what you're after when you take a CH and you won't just be
expending energy you'll be moving yourself in a direction towards
something you really really want and by the way last night we call taking
massive action personal what power which means ability to take action and what
stops people from taking action primarily what fear and the way you get
over that fear is what do you think is the number one fear most people have
failure and the reason is they feel if they fail they won't be loved
they'll be rejected they'll be hurt they'll be judged so what they really
are afraid of is losing love and they think that this rejection or I should
say this failure will lead to that rejection or loss of love the truth of
matter is you can't fail unless you don't try you try something doesn't work
you just learn from it and that'll make you better the next time you go about it
now if you know your outcome know why you want and take massive action you're
now in the most small percentile of people on the planet
so what's the next step though well you can take a lot of action and get caught
up in a pattern like become so determinate you became what tunnel
vision like I know this is gonna work and so you keep running east looking for
a sunset with total certainty and a lot of belief high-standard still doesn't
work so what you have to be able to do to succeed
you don't get caught up in some old pattern is you got to know what you're
getting know what you are know what you are getting the word we use for this is
for sure is we call it sensory acuity sensory acuity is the idea that you want
to become acutely sensitive to whether what you're doing is working or not you
don't want to just say okay I know what I want to know I don't want it I'm just
gonna make it happen this is how I'm gonna do it you keep hammering and
hammering and hammering it doing something that doesn't work and people
do this all the time right do the same thing over and over again expecting a
different result that's called insanity you can't do the same thing again and
again expect a different result when you can see it it doesn't get the result but
we get caught up in our patterns so we want to get really sensitized acutely
sensitized sensory acuity to whether what we're doing is working or not
and by the way sensory acuity is really the measure of a person's intelligence
what I mean by that is how do we measure intelligence intelligence is a measure
of the number and quality of distinctions you have in a given
situation like for example if you talk to Eskimos that's actually not the
politically correct term anymore I guess it's in a way you talk to it in a way
what we formally called Eskimos you'd find out that in a way have more than a
dozen words for the word snow more than a dozen now I'm from Southern California
guess how many words I have for snow one I don't see any of it it's called smell
baby right but they got to know what kind of snow they're gonna make more
refined distinctions to be effective in the world to get their outcomes they
don't know what kind of snow you can build an igloo out of what kind of snow
you can take your dogs through what kind of snow you can eat alright what kind of
snow you're gonna fall through so who has more intelligence who has more power
in that snowy environment the Eskimo Army which one Eskimo because they have
more sensory acuity they have more refined distinctions about what each of
these elements mean versi to see it as snow now if you took that Eskimo and you
snuck in my car in Los Angeles then we fried out maybe I have a little more
intelligence because he might try to steer the thing using the rearview
mirror right he just doesn't know so since he doesn't have that acuity he
doesn't have those distinctions you new terribly well there see some people
I can hold this up and I can say what is this and they say well that's a cylinder
other people say no no that's a blue white black cylinder someone else says
no no that's a blue color marker a few people say no no now such as the blue
color marker that is a pilot super color bright and white color marker and if you
get in your clothes they don't never come out now which through those people
has more power 1 2 3 or 4 4 because they have the largest number of distinction
so now if you know your outcome you know why you want it you got your purpose you
got your drive you got your a and oppa this is outcome purpose action you know
the mass of action you're taking action and you notice what's working what
happens if you notice it's not working you're taking action but it's not
getting you closer to outcome what's the obvious fist step but this step is
change your approach
change your approach if what you're doing your cutie says is not working
change it now what if you change approaching that's still not working
then what would you do what would you do come on what would you do change again
keep yourself in a peak state sit up in your chair some of you've gone back into
that deep hypnotic state of learning I can see and what have you tried that it
didn't work they don't want you to do what does that doesn't work what do you
do and what if that doesn't work what do you do what if that doesn't work what do
you do what is up there all that and still doesn't work what do you do and
what have you tried out and it doesn't work how many times until you find out
what works do not say to yourself I've tried everything that's bull if you
tried everything you have what you want why I've tried everything but I've tried
millions of things millions numbers them name them well maybe tens of thousands
tens of thousands name a thousand well maybe 100 name on it well maybe I did
these two things over and over again that don't work okay but when we start
saying I've tried everything we tend to incant that don't wait we make it an
incantation then we believe it and since we think we've tried everything we just
give up it's garbage not true hey let me ask you a question how long would you
give your average baby to learn how to walk you know before you shut them off
and didn't let them try anymore yeah what are you crazy
my kids gonna keep trying until he or she walks ah magic formula
you know what almost every the whole world walks okay so this is the ultimate
success form that comes down to knowing what you want why you want to take a
massive action know what's working and simply changing your approach until you
get it that's it anyone who succeeds does this they may not call it Robins
ultimate success formula but I guarantee they did it on a corny example Thomas
Edison these lights in here did this guy know his outcome yes or no yes or no
he was absolutely clear without knowing the outcome you couldn't have built that
in million years it didn't exist before he had to decide he want to create this
result without the use of candles did he know why you want to do it you
you read his writings this man had a sense of incredible purpose and drive
did he take massive action yes or no oh yes tens of thousands of experiments did
he noticed when it wasn't working and learned from it yes or no did he keep
changing his approach that's why right now in this room we don't smell camel
white right now if you know the old story of him was written about him early
in his early days he's got his best friend with them he's doing this
experiment and as he's doing he creates a small explosion which shakes the room
scares both of them very very severely and then at the end of that he gets up
and his friend is totally shaken freaked out he pulls out his journal he starts
writing and his buddy says to him what's the matter of you would saying almost
killed us so you gonna wait you have 10,000 failures for you give this stupid
idea up and Addison's response to him was I didn't have a failure there he
goes after 9090 99th failure he said no it's not he said I discovered the 9,999
way not to Amenti electrolyte bulb but I did discover how to create a small
explosion which may be useful in the future somewhere else interesting right
because he understood what this process was he did Bruce Springsteen use this do
you think you just want went out used his gravelly voice and said they may be
born to USA and everybody went yeah you're it man that what happened know
what really happened if you know his story was that all the agents of evil
went to try and book was said just playing the guitar and keep your mouth
shut your voice is gross sounding it's
gravelly it's irritating no one's gonna like the stuff keep your mouth shut and
play the guitar but he knew what he wanted he had all the drive you can
imagine knew why he wanted took massive action kept changing his approach till
he got what he wanted how about Sly Stallone Sylvester Stallone rocky rocky
story is this even right but slices to slice a good friend of mine and when I
first met him years ago he's listened to my tapes and stuff and invited me over
for dinner we started talking and I said you know I've heard your story from
other people but I really wanted to hear from the horse's mouth I don't know how
much is mythology and urban myth and how much is true so he told me the whole
story said the essence of it though was he said he knew his whole life well you
want to do she's very very young he wanted to be in
the movie business period I mean not just TV movies and yes he said why was
for him it was a chance to have people not only escape but to inspire people
and by the way that drive is what made most of his movies inspired people to
what they're capable of to overcome unbelievable obstacles because in his
own life he felt like he did that when he was born he's pulled out by the
forceps that's why he looked the way he did
it's why he talked the way he did and he said so I really want to do that and he
said I know why I want to do it I wasn't one to settle for anything else and he
said what happened was I went out to try and get jobs and it's not like I went
her dream they want you you're a star it didn't work out real well they looked at
me and said hey you're stupid look and do something else you know cos there's
no place for you in that stuff you're never gonna be a star in the movies
you're insane no one's gonna wanna listen if somebody looks Bobi and talks
out of the side of their mouth right and got no after no after no after now he
said I was thrown out more fit more than 1,500 times of agents offices in New
York I said they're only 15 minutes in New York I said I know I've been on five
six seven eight nine times he said number one guy went in there and I got
in there at four o'clock and he wouldn't see me so I stayed there and I would not
leave I stayed overnight they came back that's morning I'm still sitting there
he said that's why I got my first job the guy said plant come in here and he
sat down and he went through this and he gave my first movie I said I really have
thought Rocky was worse mom he said now this other movie I'd never heard of it
he said I said well what character your place if I was in it for about 20
seconds I was a thug and somebody beat up he said because they made me feel
like you know some of the people hate your guts you getting beat up will be a
good thing and he did like three movies like that never got anything kept going
out rejection rejection rejection so finally realized it wasn't working so he
changed his approach he said I was starving by the way he said I couldn't
pay for even they have heat in my apartment my wife was screaming at me
everyday to go get a job I said well why didn't you he said because I knew that
if I got a job he said I'd get seduced back and I'd
lose my hunger he said I knew the only way I could do
this is if it was the only choice have I burned all other bridges because if I
did a normal job pretty soon I'd be caught up in that River that's tough
when I feel okay about my life and I feel like my dream would just gradually
disappear he said I wanted to keep that hunger that hunger was the only thing I
thought was my advantage he said my wife didn't understand that at all he said
we'd have these vicious fights he said it was freezing so I was broke we had no
money and he said so I finally went to the public library one day because it
was warm said I want to read anything since I went in New York Public
Library's I was hanging out there and I sat it on this chair and somebody left a
book there and he said I looked at this book and over the poems of Edgar Allan
stories of Edgar Allan Poe and he said so I started reading it he said I got
totally in the other girl and he said I know everything about it he goes on for
another 20 minutes telling me about Aaron Paul he knows everything how he
died what it was about what really happened I said well would have told you
for you he said Poe got me out of myself he got me to think about how I could
touch other people and not worry about myself so much and he said it made me
decide to become a writer I said I'm just imagine rocky the writer right and
he said so I tried to write a bunch of screenplays nothing worked nothing to
work I were totally broke he said I didn't even have 50 bucks
he said and finally he said I sold a script it was called paradise alleys as
a movie I made many years later but I sold it he said I sold it for a hundred
bucks he said a hundred bucks was a ton of money man I was so thrilled I thought
I'm on my way but it never led to anything he said so finally he said I
kept going and going going he said finally we were so broke he said I
hocked my wife's jewelry he's a Tony there's some things in life you should
never do he said that was basically the end of our relationship she hated my
guts so much he said now we are so broke we had
nothing to food no money and he said the one thing I love most in the world was
my dog he said I love my dog because he gave me unconditional love unlike my
wife and he said so what happened was though we were so broke that's a survive
I couldn't even feed my dog so I went to a liquor store so it was the lowest day
of my life and I stood outside the liquor store trying to sell my dog to
strangers so I tried to sell my dog for 50 bucks and he said this father there's
one guy negotiating with me and bought my dog for me my best friend and ours
for $25 he said I walked away from there and I
cried he says the worst thing that ever happened my life he's a two weeks later
I'm watching a fight between Muhammad Ali and Wepner this white guy that's
getting bludgeoned but just keeps on comin even though I get the hell beat
out of it and he said I got an idea he said as soon as the fight ended I
started writing he said I wrote for 20 straight hours I did not sleep I wrote
the entire movie in 20 hours straight right then saw the fight wrote the movie
whole thing done he said I was shaking at the end I was so excited so I really
knew man I knew what I wanted I knew why I wanted he said just like it sees that
the formula he said that I said man I took the action now it's time to deliver
and so he said I went out started trying cell at the agents and they all would
read it and they'd say you know this is predictable this is stupid this is sappy
he said I wrote down all the things they said and I read them the night of the
Oscars when we won yes and it's really good the greatest revenge is massive
success they said so what happened was he said I kept going trying to sell it
trying to sell it nobody going I'm broke I'm starving he said finally I meet
these guys they read it and they believed in the script and they love it
and they offer me a hundred and twenty five thousand dollars for my script I
said oh my god you must've been out of your mind he said I was I said just one
thing though guys you got a deal based on one thing they said what's that he
said I got to star in it they went what are you talking about you're a writer so
no I'm an actor no no no you're a writer so no no I'm an actor that is my story
and I am rocky said I gotta play it you know I got to be the head person I got
me the starring role this there's no way we're not gonna pay out of $25,000 take
some no-name and stick you in that throw our money away we need a star you know
and they wanted to have Ryan O'Neal play Rocky
give you a picture can you imagine that's who they picked right and so he
said no way Ryan O'Neal's a rocky I'm Rocky we do this whole thing right
they finally he said they said well take it or leave it he said I left the room I
said if that's what you believe you don't get my script he left here's the
man with no money none totally broke offered $125,000 more
money seen his life timing walked away because he knew his real
what news real-life and why wanted he was committed to it so he said they
called him a few weeks later and they came brought it back and they offered
him a quarter of a million dollars not the star in his own movie he turned it
down $250,000 they came back their final
offers three hundred and twenty five thousand dollars they wanted this thing
he said not without me and they said no they finally compromised and they gave
him thirty five thousand dollars and points in the movie because they said if
this is gonna happen then you're gonna take the risk with us and the bottom
line is we don't think it'll work but at least we'll spend a bunch of money on
you and then they only spent a million dollars to make Rocky and it grows 200
million dollars at the time I am it was done pretty well but what's interesting
about this is here's he I said what you do I mean even 35,000 it's not a quarter
of a million I was a lot of money when you don't have 25 bucks I said what's
the first thing you did I figure you went out and partied it's not me said I
went to that liquor store for three straight days and hope that the man had
my dog frequented the store he's because I want to buy back my dog that was so
cool all right that was really cool so what happened he said third day I was
there this guy walks by and I see him and I can't believe it and there's my
dog and I looked at I said sir remember me and he said it's been about a month
and a half I found this it all come about he said
member me and I'm the guy who sold you the dog yeah yeah I love the dog he's so
look he said I was so broke I was starving he's my best friend I'm sure
you love him too but I gotta happen black please I beg of you
he said I'll pay you $100 to the dog I know you baby 25 they'll give you a
hundred the man said absolutely not no way it's
my dog now you can't buy him back right and so I said you know Tony you know
he'd say no your outcome I said yeah he said I knew it he said I kept changed my
approach so I went five hundred dollars for the dog you guys said absolutely no
way he said $1,000 for my dog guy said no
amount of money in the Earth's never gonna get this dog for you what you knew
he said I knew my outcome right because he listened his name's Kip to him he
says I take massive action he said I got my dog I just kept changing my approach
so I got it as a word of caution $15,000 and a part
in Rocky the guys in Rocky
you know that dog in Rocky Butkus that slice real dog right that's the dog you
bought him back so he put his dog in the movie and he put the guy in the movie a
paid 15 grand while he had 35,000 I'm not pretty cool pretty awesome so
there's always a way if you're committed just gotta keep changing your approach

Don't Be Afraid To Fail - Study Motivation - Duration: 6:03.
if it whatever it is doesn't work out get up I lost two elections I was the
youngest former governor in American history after the Reagan landslide I had
one guy appointed to the cabinet walk across Main Street in Little Rock to
avoid being seen shaking hands with me for fear that the guy that beat me would
fire him that was a humbling experience and I think you got to realize there's
no personal ambition you have which can be extinguished by anybody else only you
by giving up your dreams can extinguish them and if it doesn't work out exactly
like you intended it'll still take you someplace interesting and you'll make a
difference so my advice is what George said don't be afraid to fail but you
probably will whether you're afraid to or not and it's scary you just got to
get out the world belongs to tomorrow not yesterday don't give anybody else
permission to take your life away just keep living and keep giving and never
make the perfect enemy the good never think that what I'm doing is too
little to make a difference that's not true that's not true do something every
day someday for all of us it'll be our last day and what will matter is all
the steps we took along the way and what they amounted to not the home run we hit
on day X what has been the best advice you received from your teacher or
protector oh I've gotten a lot of great advice from teachers mentors professors
throughout the years so first of all you've got to be open to taking some
risks and not being afraid to fail failure is the key to success so when
you get to college you've got to raise your hand you have to be engaged
don't be the kid thinking oh I shouldn't be here and maybe
I'm not smart enough and maybe you know no you are more than capable of going to
college being successful and going on and doing whatever you want in life
I sit here because I am you all there is no difference between me and you
working-class kid growing up on the south side of Chicago
growing up with doubts and fears just like all of you all do I know exactly
how you all are feeling and kids out there who are thinking maybe I'm not
ready maybe I'm not good enough maybe I can't afford it but what teachers and
mentors have told me is that yes you can and you must so get in there and be bold
with your intelligence raise your hand get support when you need it
and know that we all got here because somebody helped us because the resources
have been so limited for so long there were a lot of people who would say God
if I only had access to a camera I would make a movie there's a lot to talk about
I remember when I was in college I spent most of my time in my room
writing screenplays really bad screenplays but I was in my room doing
that when I probably should have been studying or something there were a lot of people
I remember at parties who would talk about writing and that they want to be a writer
but I would always notice they were out every time I would happen to go out they
would always be out and they I just know that there are people talk about what
they would do if but they're not actually doing the thing and so it's a
lot easier to actually write a screenplay than you think it is might
not be good but most people talk about writing screenplays but don't actually
write them the people who write them you're already like in you know the top
10 percent see every time you make a decision what we're talking about here
is clarifying your values every single time you make a decision you are basing
it on unspoken values you have a grid in your mind you've never even thought
about this and most likely but you have a set of values in your mind and every
time you make a decision I'm going to do this and not do that I'm going to buy
this and not buy that I'm going to spend my time and effort and energy on this
and not on you are showing your hidden values the problem is most people never
figured out what they are where they came from and whether they're valid or
not so really the secret of success is
clarifying your values this is a skill you need to learn what is valuable to me
and what is not valuable every time you make a decision you reveal your values
my question is do you know where your values came from are they how are they working
out? Is your life working out with those values do you know where you pick
them up are they working for you your values in life determine your stress
determine your success and determine your salvation now you may not realize
this but your values could be causing stress in your life you know it's funny
sometimes I talk to my wife about this but like hard work is like super
important in life and like now like I grew up like in Berkeley I didn't have any
money I played for the football for the Yellowjackets I was just like a kid in
the neighborhood and now like I have a lot of money and so like with my kids
I'm like okay now that I'm rich how do I teach you the value of hard work because
that's really the only important lesson that I've got but like for all of you I
think most of you out of public university probably know a little of the
value of hard work keep that lesson that's the important
that that work is what's important it's that effort where you learn the secrets
that are super valuable and can change people's lives and change the world

Ben Can't Keep His Evilness Secret - Part 19 - Descendants in Avalor Disney - Duration: 6:06.
Disney Doll Story
Oh no, the portal opened.
The evil spirits are escaping.
We have to close down the portal before they all escape.
Where did they get this kind of power?
Naomi.
Naomi.
How do we stop this?
There is no one here with magic except for Fairy Godmother.
I'll hold it here.
Call everyone back.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo.
Mal, there you are.
I was looking all over for you.
I heard I did this to you.
I wish I could take it all back.
I'd rather have you back.
Are we close?
We are more than just close.
are you hurt?
I'll manage.
I wish I knew how to fix all of this.
Evie, how are you feeling?
I have an excruciating headache.
You seem to be doing better than Ben.
What's wrong with Ben?
Is he alright?
Evie.
You are finally awake.
Yeah, I think I'm alright.
Mal.
Are you alright?
Yes.
I.
Please don't come close.
Mal.
It's me Evie.
Your best friend.
She reacts badly when someone gets close and she can't remember anything.
Oh no.
I really wish I could remember everyone, but I can't.
Ben, you need to drop everything and get over here right now.
I see.
We are almost done here.
What did he say?
We need to go back.
Avalor is under attack and there is no one with magic over there.
You can't go.
Not like this.
Maleficent, I can't walk around like this.
There is only one sure way.
Mal will have to absorb everything back from you.
No.
The spirits in Avalor showed me a vision of what could happen.
What did you see?
Mal destroyed Auradon with her power and she went super evil.
Well...if you ask me, that sounds great.
I can't let that happen.
Mal is so innocent right now.
I want to keep her that way.
Here.
Drink this.
It will help with all the evil flashes.
You need to drink this every 12 hours.
Make sure nobody finds out.
Ok.
If anyone in Auradon finds out you even possess this potion, you will be banished to the Isle.
I understand.
Would you like me to curse Jane, so she doesn't tell anyone?
No, I trust Jane.
If it doesn't work out, you know where I'll be.
Let's go.
But you are not well right now.
I feel better.
Ben, I saw some really freaky dark magic here.
Jane, you are not going to tell anyone.
You know why I had to do it.
Even if I don't tell anyone, all this dark magic will eventually catch up to you and
you can't pretend forever.
You are back.
It's been freaky here.
Close down that gate.
What's happening in here?
Oh good, you are back.
Mal?
You changed.
She absorbed all of the sceptor magic.
That's incredible.
Not many can survive after absorbing that kind of magic.
Are you really ok?
Yes.
I am fine.
Fairy dust seems to work.
but one escaped
Ben, help me.
I still need to secure the second floor with these fairy dust.
Ok.
I'll help.
Show me how to do it.
Just one more location and we are done.
Mal, cover for me.
Ben.
No.
Hold on.
Oh no, all the evilness inside of me going back to you.
No.
Mal, let go of me.
You are turning evil again.
No.
I won't.
You could get hurt if you fall from here.
Oh no, what's happening here?
Ben.
I got you.
What kind of dark magic was this?
You performed the evilness transfer magic, didn't you?
I had no other choice.
Ben, this is one of the forbidden magic.
Why did you do it?
This was the only way to save Mal.
Ben, didn't you know you could get sent to the Isle for this?

13 Things Mentally Strong College Students Don't Do - Duration: 10:05.
13 Things Mentally Strong College Students Don't Do
Developing resilience to stress and improving your psychological health isn't always about
adding more good habits to your routine.
Instead, reaching your greatest potential often means getting rid of the bad habits
that are holding you back.
In this video, I'm going to show you 13 things mentally strong college students don't do.
Before we start, make sure to like this video and subscribe our channel so you won't miss
any interesting update in the future guys.
Whether you're hoping to gain more direction for your future, or you're striving to improve
your academic performance, building mental strength will help you reach your goals.
To become mentally strong, you must give up the bad habits that prevent you from becoming
your best self.
So, here are the 13 things mentally strong college students don't do:
1.
Waste Time Feeling Sorry for Themselves
Many of life's problems and sorrows are inevitable, but feeling sorry for yourself is a choice.
Whether you're drowning in student loan debt, or you're struggling to pass Advanced Calculus,
indulging in self-pity won't fix your problems.
If you're tempted to host a pity party when the going gets rough, train your brain to
exchange self-pity with gratitude.
Mentally strong people don't waste their time and energy thinking about the problem, instead
they focus on creating a solution.
2.
Give Away Their Power
It can be tempting to blame other people for when you face problems and experience uncomfortable
emotions.
Thinking things like, "My professor makes me feel bad about myself," however, gives
others power over you.
Take back your power by accepting full responsibility for how you think, feel, and behave.
Empowering yourself is an essential component to building mental strength and creating the
kind of life you want to live.
3.
Shy Away From Change
Although you likely feel safest when you stay within your comfort zone, a safe life isn't
necessary fulfilling.
Avoiding new challenges serves as the biggest obstacle to living a full and rich life.
Acknowledge when you're avoiding change simply because you want to escape the discomfort
associated with doing something new.
Commit to facing uncomfortable emotions head-on.
The more you practice stepping outside your comfort zone, the more confident you'll become
in your ability to tolerate the distress that may be necessary to reach your full potential.
4.
Waste Energy on Things They Can't Control
It's tempting sometimes to worry about all the wrong things.
Rather than focus on preparing for the storm, you may be tempted to waste energy wishing
the storm wouldn't come.
If you invested that same energy into the things you do have control over, you'd be
much better prepared for whatever life throws our way.
Acknowledge the things you can't control, but don't waste too much time and energy on
them.
Rather than waste your resources worrying about things like your roommate's GPA or how
the job market is going to look when you graduate, devote your energy to problems you can change.
5.
Worry About Pleasing Everyone
Choosing a major based on what your parents want you to do, or accepting an internship
that a professor wants you to take, can interfere with your ability to create your own path
in life.
Doing things that won't be met with favor takes courage, but living a truly authentic
life requires you to live according to your values, even when your choices aren't popular.
Cherish what it means to be an adult, you get to make your own choices, regardless of
what other people think.
It's not your job to make anyone else happy.
Be bold and brave, even when others around you aren't happy about your choices.
6.
Fear Taking Calculated Risks
You likely make dozens if not hundreds of choices every day with very little consideration
of the risks you're taking.
And in college, calculating those risks fall on your shoulders for the first time.
It's up to you decide everything from what you're going to do on Friday night to what
career path you're going to take.
Avoid basing your decisions solely on emotion, rather than the true level of risk.
Emotions can be irrational and unreliable so your level of fear isn't an accurate way
to calculate risk.
You don't get to be extraordinary without taking risks, but it's important to take calculated
risks, not reckless ones.
7.
Dwell on the Past
While reflecting on the past can help you learn valuable lessons, ruminating on your
history can be harmful.
Whether you were bullied in junior high, or still can't believe you didn't pass that class
last semester, dwelling on it will only hold you back.
Although moving forward can be hard, especially if you've endured your share of misfortune,
it's a necessary step to becoming your best self.
Make peace with your past so you can enjoy the present and make your future as good as
it can be.
8.
Make the Same Mistakes Over and Over
It'd be nice to learn enough from each mistake that you'd be guaranteed to never repeat that
same mistake twice.
But, how many times have you said, "I'll never do that again," only to find yourself right
back at it a few days later?
Mentally strong people don't hide their mistakes or make excuses for them.
Instead they turn their mistakes into opportunities for self-growth.
Be humble and learn from your mistakes, and you'll find new strategies to become better.
9.
Resent Other People's Success
No matter where you go to college, you're bound to be surrounded by people who are prettier,
smarter, wealthier, and more successful.
Focusing on all the things other people have however, will interfere with your ability
to reach your goals.
When you're secure in your own definition of success, you'll stop resenting other people
for obtaining their goals and you'll be committed to reaching your dreams.
Remember that your journey in life is different and unique.
Compete to become better than who you were yesterday, rather than compare yourself with
those around you.
10.
Give Up After Failure
From a young age, you may have been taught that failure is bad.
But, it's nearly impossible to succeed if you never fail.
Mentally strong people view failure as proof that they're pushing themselves to the limits
in their efforts to reach their full potential.
While it's normal to feel embarrassed, discouraged, and downright defeated when your first attempts
don't work, don't give up.
Turn failure into an opportunity to become better.
11.
Fear Alone Time
In today's fast paced world, obtaining a little quiet time takes a concerted effort.
But avoiding silence and solitude because it feels uncomfortable isn't healthy.
Taking time for yourself is an essential component to building mental strength.
Create opportunities to be alone with your thoughts so you can reflect on your progress
and consider your goals for the future.
12.
Feel the World Owes Them Anything
It's easy to get caught up in feeling a sense of entitlement.
But waiting for the world— or the people in it—to give you what you think you're
owed isn't a helpful life strategy.
Just because you work hard, doesn't mean you deserve success.
Or toughing it out through bad times doesn't mean you deserve good things to happen.
Focus on what you have to give, rather than what you think you deserve.
You have gifts to share with the world, regardless of whether you've gotten a "fair deal" in
life.
13.
Expect Immediate Results
The "no lines, no waiting" lifestyle makes your brain start to believe that everything
should happen instantaneously.
But not everything happens at lightning speed.
Self-growth develops at more of a snail's pace.
Whether you're trying to lose weight or you want to improve your self-confidence, slow
and steady wins the race and expecting immediate results will only lead to disappointment.
Even when it feels like you're moving too slow, keep going.
As long as you're headed in the right direction, you're making progress.
Now is the time to build your mental muscle.
Gaining mental strength is a lot like building physical strength.
While a successful bodybuilder needs to maintain his physique with good habits, like going
to the gym, it's equally important for that bodybuilder to get rid of unhealthy habits,
like eating junk food.
An exercise regimen won't be effective in building lean muscle unless unhealthy eating
habits are also eliminated.
Similarly, building mental muscle requires hard work, dedication and exercise.
In addition to adopting healthy habits, it's also essential to avoid detrimental habits,
like thinking negatively, engaging in unproductive behavior, and indulging in self-destructive
emotions.
The good news is, everyone has the ability to build mental strength.
But to do so, you need to develop self-awareness about the self-destructive thoughts, behaviors,
and feelings that prevent you from reaching your full potential.
Once you recognize areas that need work, commit to mental strength exercises that will help
you create healthier habits and build mental muscle.
Well, that's the 13 things mentally strong college students don't do.
Really cool information isn't it?

Our CEO Doesn't Wear Shoes | Organic Valley - Duration: 0:56.
Meet George.
"Okay."
He's the CEO of Organic Valley.
This is George's office.
These are George's turtles,
his cranes.
This is a check George got for six cents.
These are George's shoeless feet.
(Laughs) "I've got a reputation to maintain"
Back in 1988 George was a young, idealistic farmer
who was tired of how food was grown with toxic chemicals
and the way that farmers were being treated,
and he was saying radical stuff, like:
"I think that it's real important for the consumers to awaken now
and realize all their purchases are actually directives
being given to the industries."
"That's pretty whacky."
So George and six neighbor farmers started a co-op.
Which means the farmers would own and run the company,
and not the other way around.
"Yeah, it's a real important thing."
And this is what George thinks about why this crazy idea he started thirty years ago
still matters for you and your family.
"Organics taste better, is better,
and organics is a path to save family farms.
Organic Valley is all about supporting that."
Thanks George.
"Thanks a lot, hope you get what you want."
Call us crazy,
but it's working.

EPA Chief Says That Science Shouldn't Dictate Policy In America - Duration: 3:42.
Scott Pruitt, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, appeared on a Texas radio
show last week where he talked about the importance of science in the United States, or I guess
more accurately he talked about the fact that we shouldn't let science be important when
it comes to United States policy.
He specifically said, "Science should not be something that's just thrown about to try
and dictate policy in Washington DC."
Now as a reminder, Scott Pruitt is head of the Environmental Protection Agency, an agency
that is entirely built around science, and yet Scott Pruitt, the guy who leads a science
agency, doesn't think that we should let science decide what we do here in the United States.
This is just furthering the continued assault on science and in general education that we
have seen from people like Scott Pruitt and this White House for years now.
It happened under George W. Bush.
It happened under Ronald Reagan.
Intelligence is seen as a bad thing.
Scientists, people with PhDs, people who know what the hell they're talking about, they're
seen as the villains in these particular situations.
Scott Pruitt has made it very clear since taking over the EPA that he wants to purge
the agency of scientists and instead replace them with people from corporations, the very
corporations that would be affected by any rules coming out of that agency, so you can
only imagine what kind of rules are going to come out when the people who would be affected
by them get to start making them.
Of all the government agencies that we have in this country, the EPA is definitely one
that needs to understand science and use science to dictate every single thing that they do.
Scott Pruitt doesn't understand that.
Scott Pruitt doesn't understand the science of climate change.
He doesn't understand the science behind environmental protection, and he probably doesn't understand
the science telling us that almost to the 100% mark Hurricane Harvey's intensity, severity
and the rapid growth of it is directly related to human caused climate change.
Scott Pruitt doesn't want science to dictate our policy.
He doesn't want us to be prepared for the onslaught of hurricanes that we could have,
or the massive flooding, or the droughts, or the climate refugees.
He would rather bury his head in the sand, and I guess maybe rule this country based
off of Christian mythology, since science isn't allowed to be used according to Pruitt.
That's not how this government needs to work.
We need to start listening to the people that are a little bit smarter than us.
We need to start listening to the people that have spent their entire lives studying a certain
thing so that they can get a better understanding of it.
We shouldn't listen to people like Scott Pruitt.
He is a corporate insider hack who only took this job so that he could benefit wealthy
corporations, because that is exactly where he's going to go back to once his tenure at
the EPA is over.

Trump Won't Say If He'll Accept Mexico's Aid Following Hurricane Harvey - Duration: 3:44.
As large areas in the state of Texas are still being inundated with floods and heavy rains,
dozens of inches of rain are still predicted in the forecast for the remainder of this
week for those particular areas.
We can only expect the flooding at this point to get worse.
Countless people around the United States have made their way down to Texas, they've
been taking their boats doing whatever they can to help people out, sending supplies,
donating to the Red Cross.
The country of Mexico has offered aid to the United States to help with these efforts both
with the rescue efforts and with the rebuilding and mitigation programs.
However, Donald Trump the White House this administration has not yet decided if they're
going to accept that help from the government of Mexico.
Now, keep in mind during Hurricane Katrina, the country of Mexico sent over members of
their military to help rescue people and to help rebuild and deliver supplies.
Mexico was right there for us during that catastrophe and they're offering the same
kind of aid following Hurricane Harvey, and Donald Trump who is so bitter about his border
wall can't decide whether or not he wants to accept their aid.
As of right now, and this number continues to go up as floodwaters continue to push forward,
at least nine people have died in this catastrophe.
As many as 350,000 people will be displaced because of this floodwater as it stands right
now, the further it goes the more people that will be displaced, some of them permanently.
There are many areas that will not be able to rebuild.
This is going to cost billions of dollars and it's already projected to be the costliest
natural disaster in U.S. history.
Why on earth would Donald Trump not want to accept any form of aid that any country is
offering to the United States at this point?
Well there's a simple reason, because at the same time Mexico is telling us they want to
send aid.
They're also reminding the United States that under no circumstances will they ever pay
for a border wall.
Donald Trump needs to stop talking about that, because during the storm Saturday, Sunday
that's actually what Donald Trump was tweeting about, getting Mexico to pay for that wall
one way or another, either by paying us back or some other asinine way that Donald Trump
can imagine.
It's not going to happen.
They don't want the wall.
You do.
You should be the one paying for it and not with taxpayer money if you're so rich, why
don't you go ahead and start construction yourself out of your own pocket since you
seem to be taking taxpayers' money to spend at your own golf resorts anyway.
We've already paid enough for your bull crap.
I think you can foot the bill on this one if you truly wanted it.
The bottom line is this, America is facing a natural disaster right now the likes of
which we have not seen in modern history.
Donald Trump is bitching about a border wall, Mexico's offering to help us, so I ask you
this.
Who's the real bad guy in this situation?
Is it those pesky Mexicans that Donald Trump wants to keep out of our country?
Or is it the guy who's refusing aid from a country that's trying to help us as American
citizens drowned?

WOW! False Accusations Exposed and Outrage Over Whitewashing Controversy - Duration: 13:14.
Sup, you beautiful bastards, hope you're having a fantastic Tuesday
welcome back to the Philip Defranco show and let's just jump into it. And the first thing
I want to talk about today is our douchebag of the day earlier this month
You may have heard about a Colorado man
That was stabbed for looking like a neo-nazi august 16th, Joshua witt decides that he wants a shake
So he drives to his local steak and shake when he gets out of the car
He was reportedly approached by a man who asked "Are you one of them Neo-Nazis?"
But before he could even answer the attacker raises a knife above his head
Witt tries to block the attack he gets stabbed in the hand
at which point for better and worse
the assailant runs down a nearby bike path and disappears
so luckily Josh survives
He takes photos of his injuries, the crime scene and he posts on Facebook
So apparently I look like a Neo-Nazi and got stabbed for it.
Luckily I put my hands up to stop it so he only stabbed my hand
Please keep in mind. There was no conversation between me and this dude
I was literally just getting out of my car
Witt later described his attacker as a black man in his mid 20s 5 foot 10
wearing a green shirt and blue pants
and as you can guess the story quickly got picked up
And it spread like wildfire the reason we're talking about this story today is the attacker has been caught but it turns out the attacker
Is Joshua witt it turns out that Joshua witt made it all up now police said that they were
Suspicious from the start one thing the parking lot that this was supposed to have taken place in was a very busy one and no
One reported this secondly the photos that he posted on Facebook showed a lot of blood for
what was a relatively minor injury thirdly police said that he did not have a
Neo-Nazi Style haircut at the time and his Facebook profile photo
he had this little side fade but authorities said that at the time of the incident it was closer to this cut from his mugshot and
Lastly when the police tried to find the footage of someone running off towards the bike path they couldn't find it
But they did find footage of Witt buying a small knife at a nearby sports store when questioned about this Witt admitted to the line
The Sheridan County Police Chief Mark Campbell said he was opening up the knife package in the car
And he cut himself I don't believe he showed any remorse
Our take is he kind of made this up and it got out of control when it went on Facebook
Witt has since been arrested for filing a false report
And if he is convicted he faces up to a year in jail and a fine of two thousand six hundred fifty dollars
So that's the story now let me speak on it
I have two reactions to this the first being what a huge douche bag piece of shit
You faked a hate crime for what?
Facebook likes? you made Joey Salads' race-baiting ass look tame the garbage person doing garbage thing my second reaction of this is why did?
You admit it understand
This is coming from a person that thinks that you are a garbage person you came up with the idea of faking a hate crime
You then
Actually, did it then when the police seemingly only had evidence that you had also purchased a knife like that's literally yet
You fully admit the crime. I mean where does your hate-filled follow-through?
Why are you planning and going through with something so despicable?
And then the first time someone's like but did it really happen you completely crumble, but anyway
I hope you get the maximum punishment here the question
I want to pass off to you with this story is what do you think about that punishment?
I feel like more and more possibly in connection with the rise of social Media
We see a lot of people faking crimes making false accusations either to infuriate or just draw attention to themselves
And what do you think the punishment should be you think a year makes sense it should be lesser
Do you think it should be more know what you think on this from there? I want to share some stuff
I loved today and today in awesome
The first bit of awesome is HbO is release day
Just under 13 minute video of the behind the scenes of the finale something
I thought I'd share since we're all going to have to wait for way too long for this show to come back
But hey at least Westworld season to hold us over when that's released in spring of 2018
Why you doing this to me hbo and I got the slow mo guys showing off midair paintball collisions?
Then we got a short film for Blade Runner 2049
And I don't mean it's like fan-made collider put out a prequel short film to show what happened in
2036 so if you need a little something to quench your thirst
Highly recommend it if you want to see the full versions everything
I just share the secret link of the day anything at all
Links is always there in the description down below and in quickie YouTube news YouTube announced some changes today some you may have already recognized
First thing up YouTube logo change went from this to this oh my God
It's so bold and daring or is this youtube's way of saying the plays matter more than Youtube no probably not although
I mean, they aren't company that is the case also now on Mobile. Just like the desktop version
You'll be able to change playback speed and the most important update actually has to do with a vertical video vertical video which has always
Looked horrible on YouTube with those black bars on the side will now adapt to your screen
Keep in mind this for the Youtube app on your mobile devices. It doesn't appear that this changes the desktop experience
Oh do be warned if you are someone that is wanting to embrace vertical video on the new YouTube app you can do that
But still know that
Statistically speaking around 30 to 50 percent of people will still get those black bars if they're watching the desktop version then we have fantastic
News for anyone that currently shops for food at Whole foods or - now that Amazon has successfully purchased
Whole foods they have changed two things the first and the biggest thing is that they have changed the prices reports saying that they cut?
prices by as much as
43 percent one of the examples provided and Manhattan Fuji apples would sell for 349 a pound now
Just a dollar ninety-nine a pound and also you were paying
349 for a pound of apples whatever also people from California rejoice avocados went down around 80 cents
Oh, and the second change to whole foods is that you can now buy an Amazon echo or dot in the store
Okay, sometimes when you go to Whole foods for organic kale. You're like
Why don't I also buy one or two echoes also for those of you wondering?
Why you can't go to Amazon and buy an echo right now most likely it's because they put all their stock in these stores
So there was that now let's talk about this recent, Hollywood
Controversy that has a lot of people cheering and booing last week it was announced that British actor Ed Skrein who's best known for his
Roles in Deadpool and game of thrones was recently cast to be in the hellboy reboot specifically
He was set to play the role of Major Ben Daimyo who in the comic books is Asian as you'd expect some people are unhappy
With this casting decision calling it another example of Hollywood Whitewashing a character. This isn't a new topic or
Controversy for Hollywood for example this year Scarlett Johansson played the lead and ghost in the shell' that character originally was Asian in the original
The character is called Major Motoko Kusanagi in the film Charlotte Johanssen is simply called major
We can't even look to this week
Netflix released a Japanese Manga
adaptation of death note that drew Criticism for transferring a Japanese story to
Seattle and also because the film stars - white leads and parts that originally written as japanese characters although my personal favorite was the emma
stone backlash because in the movie aloha
She played a character that was Chinese in Hawaiian goes of the doctor strange backlash
but you get the point it's it's not new but this time something new did happen in response to the Criticism Ed announced that he
Is stepping down from the role?
He shared this statement on his Twitter saying last week
It was announced that I would be playing Major Ben Daimyo in the upcoming Hellboy reboot I accepted the role unaware that the character in
The original Comics was of mixed Asian heritage there has been intense conversation and understandable upset since that announcement
And I must do what I feel is right
It is clear that representing this character in a culturally accurate way holds significance for people
And that's a neglect this responsibility would continually worrying tendency to obscure ethnic minority stories and voices in the arts
I feel it is important to honor and respect that therefore
I have decided to step down so the role can be cast appropriate representation of ethnic Diversity is important
Especially to me as I have a mixed heritage family is our responsibility
to make moral decisions in difficult times and a give voice to
Inclusivity it is my hope that one day these
Discussions will become less necessary and that we can help make equal representation in the arts a reality
I'm sad to leave hellboy, but if this decision brings us closer to that day it is worth it
I hope it makes a difference with love and hope ed skrein knows a lot of support Hellboy Producers Larry
Gordon and Lloyd Levin supported his decision
Saying in a statement and came to us and felt very strongly about this we fully support his unselfish decision
It was not our intent to be insensitive to issues of authenticity and ethnicity and we will look to recast the part with an actor
More consistent with a character in the source material also the creator of the Hellboy comic book Mike Mignola
Wrote thank you, edie. Very nicely done now when of agents of shield wrote love this guy, edie. You are a rockstar
Let's hope the recast is as morally and ethnically correct and David harbour of stranger things who's also starring in the reboot wrote hey internet
Thank you for your voices, and injustice was done and will be corrected many. Thanks to Ed for doing
What is right but of course as you'd expect there are people that were criticizing this movie?
So I'm saying that it's the white actors being treated unfairly here, not just in generalities
But even pointing to this hellboy read one writing. Let's not forget alice monoghan who was a pale redheaded
Irish woman from 50s Arlen and the Hellboy comics as a black woman in the new movie
I guess we'll be seeing her drop out of the movie too now right and I want to use that comment as a question I
Pass off to you. Is there a difference
Is there a difference between Edie coming in to play a character that was Asian in the original and Sasha lane coming in to play?
Someone that was Irish in the original some are going to argue that those situations are the same and it's ridiculous that only one actor
is being persecuted for that only one actor is being pressured to step down whereas those who see those situation as
Different are most likely going the angle of inclusion the roles and TV shows and movies for the most part have been
Majority white and many people would argue that this is about inclusion
It's it's easier to to swap roles here or the other could be seen as a majority taking away from another have to say personally
On this topic I kind of just don't care. I don't mean about the story in general
I just mean I don't care who plays certain roles based off of Gender or race let me expire a man black
Cool
You want to make thor a woman fine previously white character is now played by someone that's black someone that was previously
Asians played by someone that's a white
I say that also understanding that's coming from my life experience and who I am right it was never a big deal that
Someone that had the same color as my skin was in the entertainment. I was consumed also
I don't think all changes and adaptations are
Right the answer to the question of why are we making this change is important to everyone
What are your thoughts here, but also specifically to people without my same background
What are you thoughts here also while we're talking about this I kind of want to attach another
Story to it here
We were talking about the world of entertainment, but then let's also talk about fashion and the reason for that is once again
Kendall and Kylie Jenner are in the news because they are being accused of stealing this time not being accused of stealing
specific images or specific designs
but being culture vultures it's because under Kendall and Kylie store they released an oversize plaid shirt for the low low price of
$145 they all supposed to this picture to their instagram many people call this style
culture theft accusing the Jenners of stealing Chola Chola culture that as the white as that phrase has ever been said just a few of
the responses laughed my ass off first black culture now Chola culture
I'm happy more people who are learning to accept and appreciate the beautiful culture people gotta stop stealing shit if you're going to appropriate culture
They could at least be like hey guys our new clothing line is inspired by latin
Ex culture and since all the backlash a kendall Kylie instagram removed that post
But they also left the page to buy the shirt up so sorry but not sorry and so the question I want to pass off
To you here. I mean obviously the situation is different. We're not talking about people
We're talking about styles and cultures more of the mindset of in entertainment, and maybe the same is said about style
You're always borrowing
you're always taking from something else and trying to make it your own and also sure there is a difference between having a style for
Yourself and taking it for yourself and monetizing it for the masses at the same time. We're talking about a
$145 plaid shirt
I know let me know what you think and then let's talk about North Korea in the news as I was uploading yesterday's video north
Korea decide to launch a missile
Over Japan South Korean military intelligence saying the missile was launched from a site very close to pyongyang the missile flew towards and over Japan
Eventually breaking up into three pieces about 1,100 kilometers past Japan in the Pacific Ocean no big thing to note
Is this is not the first time North Korea has done this they pulled this done in 1998
2009 2012 and 2016 but this is still a huge development because all those other missiles were for satellites in different stages of development
This missile was a military one and while this move was in a complete shock as North Koreans
Have stated as part of their plan to strike one
they would test missiles over Japan still probably not pleasant for the people in Japan to wake up at
6:02 to a message that reads missile launched missile launched a missile has been launched from North Korea
Lee's evacuate to a sturdy building or underground that also met with these alarms
Nope, I'm done imagine how horrifying that is not knowing
What was going to happen for 15 minutes until you get the update message missile passed it seems the missile has passed over the area
if you find any suspicious object
Please do not go near it and form the police or the fire department since the prime minister of Japan responded by telling reporters
We must put strong pressure on North Korea to make it change its policy Japan will work with the United States and South Korea
and will also urge China Russia and the rest of the world to increase pressure on the north as well adding this launch of a
North Korean missile is an unprecedented serious and grave threat to Japan adding that trump. Told him the u.s.
stands with Japan
100% and I would like to make the utmost effort to protect the lives and assets of the Japanese people under strong alliance between
Japan and u.s
South Korea also responded by releasing this footage of a recent missile test that shows that can accurately hit targets hundreds of kilometers away also
South Korea went ahead and tested eight bunker busters near the border yesterday as a show of Force
Maybe as a way of saying to the north hey Kim Jong-un if you actually do this we will get you South Korean major Lee
Kook note told reporters our air Force will wipe out the leadership of the North Korean regime with the strong strike
Capability if it threatens the security of our people in the south Korea-us
alliance with Nuclear weapons and missiles and president Chirac made it clear that quote all
Options are on the table when it comes to dealing with North Korea and as far as where China is on this a foreign ministry
Spokeswoman said the situation was now at quote a tipping point
Approaching a crisis adding at the same time there is an opportunity to reopen peace talks. We hope relevant parties can consider
How we can deescalate the situation on the peninsula and realize peace and stability on the peninsula?
You know just some super happy fun stuff happening in the world
And that's that's where I'm gonna end today sure I wanted to leave you on a a happy note
I think certain in these times is that things are uncertain
