Jilllll is a model citizen, she can't tell no lies, says how it really is, and puts it all on line. She's a model citizen. Hey guys, this is gonna be a quick video about what
essentially you should include in your model bag; whether it's going to castings
or just going to an actual photo shoot. This is what I include: it's
standard to have your beige bra and panties but I also like to include black
if you're shooting it just gives you another variety, if the lines on the
beige bra just don't look right you've got a plan B. Now it's obvious that you
need a pair of heels but they shouldn't be like too complicated, just standard
pumps; black or beige. Now in the world of technology
this might seem foreign, but I always try to make sure I carry money on me...
unfortunately this is about the amount I make sure to carry, but if you have an
emergency it's nice to have twenty dollars in case you need to get a taxi
because you're phones dead and you can't get a hold of Uber. On the topic of your
phone die, everybody brings their phone but not everybody brings their charger
so I make sure to include both of thos. If I have crud under my nails and
it's a beauty shoot I feel like I might have just ruined the whole shoot so I
make sure to bring nude nail polish, just on the off trace, because I want the
photos are going to be as good as they can possibly be.
Bring lotion because the one time that you don't is also going to be the one
time where the makeup artist didn't bring lotion. Chapstick -
because I live in the world of thirst for my lips... there's no amount of water
that's gonna make these babies soft. Three weeks ago my pits were not as
close to of a shave as they could have been,
so now I carry this on me at all times. I wouldn't bring it on a plane but
if you can carry it on you it can function as a weapon worst case scenario.
And if your casting is gonna be long, you might as well bring my book cuz it's all
perspective it's a really fun how to model guide and gives you an idea of
what you might earn if you go overseas and what the markets are like and it
also shares a whole bunch of other models stories. If you like what I'm
putting out please comment like subscribe down below thanks for watching

Book Review - Create or Hate by @TheDanNorris - Duration: 2:47.
As Content Creators we often have a lot of decisions to make! What type of
content we should create should we go with video or audio or perhaps the
written word then we have to think about platform what's the perfect platform
should we use Facebook or Instagram or a podcast or YouTube if you find
yourself confused and having some of these same challenges I want to recommend a book
that I've read well this book was written by my friend and very successful
entrepreneur Dan Norris it's called create or hate successful
people make things it talks about imposter syndrome and also those outside
forces that are gnawing at us in the back of our mind telling us that we're
not good enough and that our content doesn't really matter or make a
difference I found the book extremely helpful also has a lot of fantastic
reviews over on Amazon but it definitely will help you sort out some of the
things that are going on in your head as well as external factors that might be
preventing you from creating Dan gave me permission to read a little excerpt from
the book so here we go we know that we're all creative that in each one of
us there's a creator someone who wants to use their head and their hands to
make the story better it's been that way since the dawn of civilization it's been
that way for you since you were a kid gleefully discovering the world and
learning by trial and error that you can impact it
a magical way but there's also a force called HATE which will work against your
creativity hate stops you from making things hate wasn't there at the start
it's been given power over the years and is now equipped with an arsenal of
weapons designed to stop your creative self from making things hate doesn't get
joy from stopping your creative efforts it just does its job yet hate can be
controlled managed and overpowered if you know how so that was just a little
taste of create or hate and to get your copy go to ileanesmith.com/createorhate

How to manage the storage on your iPhone or iPad - Duration: 7:29.
So your iPhone or iPad is out of space and you can't take a picture or even install
an app?
Don't worry this is very common on iOS devices since you can't add more storage to it.
First I would suggest you update your iOS version to 10.3 or later 10.3 has a new file
system that frees up some space on your device and makes your device faster.
iOS 11 also comes with a new compression for videos and photos that saves space along with
a couple of extra settings to help with space saving.
If you are not interest or already did the iOS update you can skip ahead to the time
displayed on the top left of this video.
If you have enough space for the upgrade, the easiest way to do it, is to simply download
the OS on the device using the over the air feature.
To do this go to settings then General and then Software Update, your device will go
online and try to download the latest version available for your device, this procedure
will take a while, so try to do this at a time that you know that you will not need
your device and plug it in so that it charges itself while doing it.
The download itself could be large so I would suggest you do it on Wi-Fi.
If you do not have space for the download over the air then the next option is to do
it on iTunes We already covered how to install iTunes,
perform a backup, install the new OS and restore the backup to the device on other videos these
are linked on this videos description.
Please follow the steps on those videos for the process.
Now let's see what's taking up space on your device.
To do this we are going to go to settings then general and then we are going to go into
storage.
This will display whatever is taking the most space on top, to save some storage on photos
and videos try to find and delete any photos and videos that you don't need and then
check if any deleted photos are still on your device.
iOS will keep deleted photos for a period of time in case you deleted by accident and
want to recover them.
To Find these go to your photos app and look for an albums that says recently deleted,
here you will see which photos and videos are next to be deleted from your device and
how long they still have.
Here you can delete the files manually instead of waiting for the device to do it later automatically.
iOS 11 also gives you the option to empty this album right from the Device Storage.
Next you can try moving some of your videos and pictures to somewhere else, if you have
a computer you can save them to the its drive by connecting the USB cable that you use to
charge your device and then moving them to it, once you connect your computer to your
iPhone or iPad you will see a prompt asking you for permission to gain access to it from
your computer, when you allow it you will be able to see the files by browsing your
device without using iTunes.
Another option is to move them to the cloud, some services like iCloud, Dropbox or Google
Photos will give you free space which you can upgrade if needed, this way have access
to your files whenever you have internet access without using your local storage.
Next scroll thru the list of apps on your device and delete anything you don't need
to get some of your storage back, don't worry you can always download them again later.
To delete the apps just touch the app and it will display how much storage the app takes
and how much storage the apps files take if you want to delete the app and the app files
then press the delete app option or from your home screen find the app or apps you want
to delete and press and hold on it until you see a little x show up and that the apps start
to shake.
You can only delete the ones that show the x and by pressing on the x you will actually
delete the app and all the files in it.
If you just want to delete the app data for a specific app then you would need to go to
that app and delete the files in it.
Some apps will allow you to delete the app data from this same storage menu in settings,
the ones that allow it will show the word edit on the top right, but if the app you
want to delete does not give you the option you can delete the app and then reinstall
it getting rid of all the file in the process.
The next thing to try is to delete any songs or videos from your device that you don't
need and opt for streaming services if possible.
Now let's clear your web browser's History.
In my case I only use safari but you should be able to perform the same steps on any browser
and perhaps consider only using safari since it already comes with the device and you would
save whatever space another browser app takes.
To delete the information on safari just go to settings then safari and then look for
"Clear History and Website Data".
In the Settings app look for messages, then look for message history there's also an
option that says audio messages and set how long your device should keep those messages
for both.
If you use WhatsApp, in the app look for settings then chats and then turn off the save to camera
Roll feature.
The received photos and video will still be on your device's cache so you still need
to delete them if desired by using the methods described before when we talked about deleting
an app, data or by clearing or deleting chats.
Now let's explore a few space saving settings.
In iOS 11 you will be able to automatically Offload Unused Apps leaving behind the apps
data or documents so that when you reinstall the app all the information will still be
there.
To enable this option we need to go to settings, general, and then Storage if you don't see
it then touch show all recommendations.
If you have more than one device and you have photo stream enabled whenever you take a picture
on one device, iCloud will copy it to your other devices so make sure to turn it off
on the device with low storage, to do this go to your ID then iCloud then photos and
turn it off by touching the switch.
Now let's check the settings in the Camera app to adjust the resolution of your videos
for space saving.
Whenever you reduce the resolution of your videos or photos, you re lowering the quality
but sometimes you don't even need that much detail or you won't even notice it plus
it's better to able to take videos at a lower quality than not taking any because
you lack the space.
HDR will combine a couple of photos into 1 by using the best parts of each to try and
give you the best looking picture possible so when you turn the keep normal photo off
you are just asking it to only keep the combined one.
If you take burst mode photos you will have some duplicates so to save space there you
can select the best looking one and delete the rest.
Live photos take more space than normal photos so turn off the live photo feature by default
and only turn it on for special moments.
Doing an Erase and restore even if you don't do an upgrade or remove any apps or photos
will still clean up any leftover files from your device giving you some storage back.
Now if you want to go with the nuclear option then do an Erase and set up your device as
a new device.
We also recorded a video to help with that process which we also linked in the description.
Thanks for watching please like our video if you liked it and let us know of any comments
or question you have in the comments section.

7 Signs To A Vancouver Real Estate Slowdown or Bubble 2017 | 2017 Vancouver Real Estate Forecast - Duration: 10:10.
Seven Signs To A Vancouver Real Estate Slowdown Or Bubble In 2017.
Hey guys, iIt's Gary Wong from GaryWongRealty.com again.
People know me as the Christian realtor.
I'm also the author of the book on Vancouver real estate and also a director for the Real
Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, Vancouver West Side Division.
In this video, we're going to talk about the seven signs that are pointing to a Vancouver
real estate slowdown or bubble in 2017 and what you need to be aware of and basically
a general 2017 Vancouver real estate market forecast.
Okay, let me start off with the first sign.
There were talks earlier in the year where the, I think it was the NDP or the Gree Party,
they were saying that the foreign buyer's tax is not enough.
They want to increase the foreign buyer's tax from 15% to 30%.
Even though the realtor committee knows that that's not going to be feasible and it's not
going to be something that the political party will implement, it put a lot of fear in the
public's perspective and it creates a lot of hesitation in potential buyers and potential
sellers in the market.
Sign number two, the federal government decided to change some rules when it comes to principal
residence capital gains tax exemption.
What they're saying is that the only portion that will be exempt is the portion that you're
living in.
What this means is that let's say you're living in a house and you rent out the basement and
you rent out the laneway house and let's say your home is worth two million dollars.
Then you live in it for five years and you rent out the basement suite and the laneway
house for five years.
Five years later, let's say your house is worth three million dollars, so that one million
dollars appreciation, you think that it would be capital gains tax exempt, but that's not
the case.
The only portion that would be exempt is the portion that you were living in.
If you're living upstairs, that portion of the home would be exempt and the basement
portion of the home plus the laneway house portion of the house would not be exempt from
capital gains tax.
Let's say the basement and the laneway accounts for 50% of the home, then you're only exempt
for $500,000 out of that appreciation of a million.
What does this do to the general public?
It disincentivizes rentals.
The person who lives in their principal residence will think twice whether to rent their basement
suite or their laneway house because when it comes to selling the property, that part
will not be capital gains tax exempt.
What does this do?
If they hesitate in renting out the basement or the laneway house and they think, "Well,
why don't we just keep it empty then", it decreases supply and it doesn't help the Vancouver's
housing affordability crisis.
Sign number three, you've probably heard about it, but the city of Vancouver's trying to
make some short term rental policy changes.
I will include in the description below information of where I'm getting this information from,
so you can get all the information and detailed terms and conditions and fine print when it
comes to this policy change.
Everybody knows that short term rentals is just not allowed in the city, not in houses,
not in apartments.
It's just not allowed.
How are they enforcing it?
That's a different story.
One of the changes they're trying to make is that okay, we will allow principal residence
owners to rent out their properties short term, but for secondary residences, like investment
property, they are planning to ban short term rentals for those properties, the investment
properties and any basically any properties that are not your principal residence.
Everyone knows that a majority of the basement suites in the city are unauthorized suites.
They are also trying to crack down on that as well, in the sense that they are banning
short term rentals for these unauthorized suites.
Sign number four, there were talks in the past couple months about a speculation tax.
I think it was the Green Party or the NDP, I forgot, where I was mentioning that okay,
if you're buying a secondary property, we're going to slap a speculation tax on you.
This speculation tax would apply for those people who do not work or live in BC and then
they leave their homes empty as well.
This also puts fear in those investors who maybe live half of the year in Asia and then
half of the year here or maybe half of the year in the US or Europe and maybe they have
investment property or they want to buy some properties and maybe park some money in Vancouver
real estate.
The possibility of a speculation tax really doesn't comfort these investors' perspective.
Though this tax is just in the brainstorming stage, and because the media wrote about it,
a lot of people are just taking it easy and watching how the market responds.
Sign number five, everyone knows that late last year, they were talking about the 1%
vacancy tax and that people who leave their homes vacant for more than 180 days out of
the year would be assessed a penalty of 1% of their tax assessed value as a taxed.
If your property was tax assessed at two million dollars, you'd be assessed a penalty of $20,000.
The realtor community was thinking about how the government was going to enforce this.
It's still not clear how the government is going to enforce this, but basically it's
a yearly declaration that you would declare whether you were or your property was vacant
for that amount of time or not.
I talked to some lawyers and accountants.
How can they prove this?
How can we mitigate this and they said it's too new to be able to say much about it.
Anyways, the fact that they had this vacancy tax implemented put another policy out there
to try to slow down the market.
Sign number six, people know in the past couple weeks the Bank of Canada has finally increased
the prime rate from 2.7 to 2.95%.
We know that this was inevitable.
They had talked about raising the rates for a long, long time.
We know that even though they are going to raise the rates, they're not going to raise
it like 2 or 3 or 4% right away.
They will probably raise it 0.25 and then wait how the market responds and then raise
again and then see how the market responds.
They're not just going to slap on a 2% increase.
Sign number seven, along with Bank of Canada increasing their prime rates from 2.7 to 2.95%,
the banks have started to increase their rates as well.
They started making it harder for people to qualify for high ratio mortgages.
High ratio mortgages are those who are putting down a down payment of less than 20%.
Usually they have to qualify at a particular benchmark of 4.64%.
They have increased that to 4.84%, making it harder for someone to qualify for a mortgage.
This, coupled with the Bank of Canada increase in interest rates and coupled with all the
other five signs that I mentioned earlier, it's creating a lot of uncertainty and fear
for the real estate home buyer or seller out there right now.
The most important question, is this leading to a Vancouver real estate bubble or Vancouver
real estate slowdown?
In my professional opinion, I don't think so.
Has it been slower in some areas of the market?
Yes, it has.
The condo and townhouse market is still strong, stronger than last year.
Is it as strong as earlier this year, meaning like early spring?
No, it's slowing down.
It's summer right now.
It's actually slowing down, which is historically the case.
For houses in 2017, the market's not that strong.
The condos and townhouses are buying and selling like hotcakes, but houses, on the other hand
this year, has been slowing down.
Is it crashing?
No, it's not crashing.
Is it slow?
Definitely that is the case.
Is it a 20% drop?
A 30% drop or 40% drop?
No, it's not, but for some people who really need to sell to move to another, move to another
country for work or they have legitimate reasons why they need to sell, possibly they might
have to sell at a lower price than what they were expecting.
From last year, we had the foreign buyer's tax.
It created about a 5 to 10% dip in the market for most houses.
It did recover earlier this year, but now we're seeing a little slow down in the single,
detached housing market.
There's a lot of investors out there who are sitting on the sidelines.
From those seven signs, they're seeing how the market will play out.
Actually right now, it's a strong buyers market in several areas.
It's a great time to buy some houses out there right now, but a lot of people are actually
... It's funny because in a buyers market, most people should end up buying, but in a
buyers market, a lot of people, you would see a lot of people holding back and waiting.
Funny, in a sellers market, you'd think that people would list their property on the market
because it's a good time to sell, but a lot of times people hold off selling and they
actually try to buy, during the sellers market, which is actually contrary.
When it's a sellers market, you should sell.
When it's a buyers market, you should buy, but obviously everyone's case is different.
Make sure you talk to your realtor and talk about your short term plans, your long term
plans and see whether you should buy or sell in any market.

How To Use a Laser Cutter - Lightblade Learning Lab 21 Air Assist or NOT - Duration: 29:01.
Welcome to another Lightblade learning Lab.
Today, we're going to carry on a bit with Parameters, but we're actually not going to
do any parameters today.
We're going to look at some problems that we shall have as we tackle some more parameters.
Particularly associated with engraving.
Now we have already touched on some of these little problems in the last session on cutting
parameters.
But I didn't enlarge on them too much at that point in time because there is a great deal
that I don't know about engraving.
And so what we are going to do today is some exploratory work, that is new to me and probably
new for most people because I've not found anybody else doing this sort of work.
It's a bit; when I say controversial... it can't be controversial because we shall either
decide that it does, or that it doesn't work.
The controversial element of it will be the fact is that we're probably going to do quite
a lot of work with no air assist.
(draws in breath) Ooh well we touched on this last time, and
err we got some quite staggering results.
Hopefully we shall find similar sorts of things today.
I indicated to you right at the beginning of this series that I'm not a tutor, I'm not
a teacher, I'm an engineer who enjoys discovering things and as I discover things, you will
learn.
Um, and hopefully these sorts of things will help you understand more about the machine
and the way in which you can look at things in a slightly obtuse way, to try and get solutions
to problems, because I suspect that most of you guys will be using this machine for real
jobs and real work - earning money.
And you will want to be most efficient that you can be at the job job that you're going
to do, and some of this knowledge and background information will help you make decisions to
improve your manufacturing process.
Before we dive in, a couple of things, first of all - ooh that's nice and warm now, that's
my cinnamon roll mmm that's absolutely delicious.
It's quite cold out here today, now I want to just draw your attention to this little
thing that I'm holding here.
I'm not likely to lose it as you can see.
It's a keep things warm or a keep things cold cup.
And it's got my normal black coffee in it, but the interesting thing about it is, this
is stainless steel, and it's been powder coated and the powder coating has been removed by
a machine just like this.
So you're dealing with something here, with this machine, which is capable of all sorts
of good things.
Now something else I would like you to look at, this is what I call my wall of wind. And
I hope, that we will be using this with some success today.
It may be a total failure, I've only just recently made it, so I've not even had a chance
to test it.
It works, I've got it on a variable voltage transformer so I can change the amount of
blow in it by 50 %. Ok now, to start this session off what I've got, is I've got the
steel plate on here, um for a good reason as you'll see in a second.
I've got the 2" lens in here, so I'll just set that to 5mm gap and I''m going to run
a very simple program.
The first part of this exercise is some engraving, some scanning.
Followed by some cutting.
Now this is a very cheap hardboard, very soft, this is not MDF, this is nothing like that
laser board that we used in the last session.
So, what have we got here?
Well, yes it's cut.
But two things I want you to note: first of all, this is a right mess.....
I mean it's full of dust, we can take some of the dust off, but we've still got all this
brown haze around the outside.
Now what is that brown haze?
Where did it come from?
Well the answer is pretty simple actually, see this much here?
Well this muck here is sticky,
It's basically condensed residue of the smoke that was generated when this was burned.
If you take a look at the cut around the edge, the cut is pretty clean.
That's because all the smoke and residue, went downwards and condensed here.
But when we were doing engraving on the surface here, where did the smoke go?
- UP
and then immediately down again because the air assist was forcing it back onto the surface.
So, hence the reason we've got all this brown muck here sitting around the outside of what
should be a nice clean engraving.
How are we going to deal with this problem?
Well, to be honest, I can't answer that question at the moment because I'm certainly no engraving
expert, and that's the whole point of today's session.
We're gonna see how we can change from this, I was going to be a bit crude with my language,
but I'm going to say with this "not very good" attempt.
To something that hopefully gets better.
Now we'll carry on at the moment, using this fairly cheap um fibre board, this hardboard,
because we've got some references.
Before we put this away, which I'm going to get rid of this now, lets just remove this
horrible debris off of here with some white vinegar.
Oh dear, white vinegar usually does the trick.
But if it fails, I'm afraid we're going to have to go for something a little more aggressive.
This is acetone.
Again, just a tip more than anything else, A steel plate, and it doesn't have to be a
plate like I've got here, it could just be a flat steel plate.
It can be very useful to you, because first of all, as you can see it's very easy to clean.
I mention about the steel plate being easy to clean, because as you can see, after a
little while all this brown crud, we've collected on that plate, is going onto this surface
here, and this is a lot more difficult to keep clean.
And what happens is this stuff here, will burn when you run the laser beam across it,
and it will produce fumes.
Which will come back onto the back of your job.
So this is actually, in some ways it's great, and in some ways it's nothing but a pain.
It has it's uses and one of the great uses for it is that it has got a lot of air flow
through it.
Now if we leave the machine here, we've just got a great big cupboard cavity and that's
where this fits in to.
You can see the pattern of the grill underneath there and look you can see my hands shadow.
Now in here we've got a big extract tube that's sucking the air out from underneath this area
here, so this is like a big Plenum chamber underneath here and it sucks all the air down
into it and extracts it into this amazing Purex unit.
NOw I've always been used to throwing my waste products down a duct and to the outside world.
But of course I'm also throwing heat away, if there was any heat in this cold workshop.
Um, whereas this is a recirculating system, not only is it a recirculating system it gives
me environmental protection because not only is it filtering out smoke, it's filtering
out through an active charcoal filter all the poisonous fumes that are in the atmosphere.
So I can do some plastic cutting on this machine that I wouldn't normally recommend you do,
but with a certain amount of caution and care, and I would probably ask you to go back to
thinklaser or to Purex and ask their advice about the product that you are going to cut.
You can have products that are dangerous to your health, but not dangerous to the machine.
And there are other hazardous products that are hazardous to you and to the bare metal
work and electronics in this machine.
So, you need to be careful we talked about hazardous materials in a previous session.
Now I'm just going to mention it again, because it's a very important subject that you mustn't
overlook.
Back to this honeycomb table, same material, same program, let's take a look at what happens
this time.
Now because I've changed the table we shall need to reset the focus and I can do that
either with the Z/U button or in this particular instance I'm just going to let it drop onto
my step gauge.
Like that, that's a nice simple way of doing it.
Now if you remember what we learned last time, this edge looks pretty black and also look.....
It's got a lot of soot on it, now that would indicate to me that we could go faster.
Now I'm standing them up side by side so that you can take a look at them and you'll see
that the one that was done on the flat table is in fact cleaner than the one that's done
on the honeycomb Table.
Strange that isn't it?
And the back looks nice and clean again, although I could make this run faster as we said, I'm
not going to, we'll keep all the parameters the same.
The only thing that we are going to do is change the way in which we feed air to and
from this product.
So this is all about how air can affect the quality of your product, and air flow can
affect the quality of your product.
OK so now we've got the job sitting on stand-offs, so that there is an air gap underneath the
product as well.
Now I've got the lid open at the moment, which is something that you won't have, you'll be
running this with the lid down.
How does this one compare?
Well I would say that probably, on balance, it's not quite as mucky, there isn't quite
as much haze there if you notice, but I can take it off just as I did on the first one,
and to be honest, there isn't a great deal of difference between these two.
This one is a lot whiter, these are both darker.
Now the next variable that we are going to introduce is this..... we're going to turn
the air assist off completely, now we're in for some fun.
Oh dear.... that's lovely isn't it.
Now what is that flame coming out of the back there do you reckon?
What do you think to that one?
Let's put in down against our first one, which is the best we've had so far.
Hopefully I'm making a point here, the importance of air assist or no air assist.
The debris that's coming up with this one is not being blown back down onto the job,
it's being allowed to come up and blown away by the air that's moving past here.
Even though it's not necessarily the best air flow that we can possibly get, it's a
gentle airflow.
The interesting question is, look at the edge, you might be able to see how this has got
a shiny edge around here where the debris has settled onto the surface and it's produced
this... .although it's not, it is a little bit brown around here, it's not terrible,
but when you turn it into the light, you can see the silvery edge that's around here, the
shiny edge where the resin has settled back down again.
Now when you look at this one, there's nothing.
Why is there nothing?
Well the answer is..... we burnt it, you saw it burning.
If it's burnt it doesn't settle back onto the job, so in some ways burning it is even
better than trying to blow it away gently.
This is a burning process, it is converting a piece of wood into gas and gas is a lot
more volumetric than the wood and so consequently it's expanding up and producing all this debris
which is in the air.
And that's the fundamental problem that we've got with engraving of any organic material.
We're going to produce this smoke, and that's what we've got to try deal with.
Now there are several ways that we can deal with it, one of them is to put masking over
the top of that, which would be fine for something like this and let me just demonstrate, and
I'm not going to do the cut, I'm just going to do the engraving to demonstrate the point.
Now I'm going to turn the air assist back on because you know what happens when we put
air assist on, we get all this muck on the surface.
So lets go back to muck on the surface mode.
I'm going to cut that in half like that, and peel off this piece here.
So we've got a nice clean product.
Well, I say clean, but you'll notice that this is dark and this is light, because even
though we've got a nice clean edge around here, we still finished up painting the text
with all our rubbish.
So we didn't get clean text, we got resin coated text.
Which in some instances might look quite good.
Ok so we've basically discovered that we do not want the debris to be blown down and the
best thing that we can do is to have the air assist off.
But if we have the air assist off and we've got a composite job, cutting and engraving,
I mean this is easy to do for engraving because all we have to do is turn the air assist off.
Ok so now I'm going to carry out a test and we'll stop it after the engraving.
You will notice how the smoke has been thrown in the air and is getting carried away.
That is exactly what we want, we don't want it to go back down onto the job.
Now I am going to turn this around, so that we can see the difference, if there is a difference
between working at the front of the machine and working at the back of the machine.
To be honest, it doesn't really look very much different.
Which is good news, because all we need is a waft of air across it.
Now just look how beautifully clean that is.
And that's no air assist, if you remember last time, when I say no air assist, you can
hopefully see that there is a small amount of air leakage across the valve, which is
actually just keeping the lens protected.
But it's not enough flow to interfere with what's going on with the air flow down here.
Now we're back with our piece of trial material, and what we are going to do now is to see
if we can get a compromise whereby we get a nice clean engraving but also a fairly good
cut.
Now we've already had that situation once, which was basically this one here which was
no air assist, it was on this honeycomb and it was on stand-off.
So, we've already got this test in the bag.
So we don't need to do that again, we need something different.
Now i'm going to lift this probe, right up out of the way, so that it's not in the line
of fire, if we get fire, because we've already got some sticky residue on here from the comet
trail.
Now this is where I want to play with my experimental "Wall of Wind" I want to see if I can introduce
quite a high speed cross flow that will keep the flame extinguished and blow the debris
away, I've put the voltage on this up to full volts "24 volts" and if we take a look, as
you'll see, we've got a fair old wind blowing across there, so if you're going to blow anything
away, this is how we're going to do it.
So what we're attempting to do here, those flames are caused by residues that are lifted
out of this material and they are flammable residues that are being, they are being ignited
by the laser beam itself, because we've got a very high power laser beam on there at the
moment.
And what the attempt will be to do here is to dilute those fumes to such an extent that
they do not ignite.
And nothing there, and well I think we're getting a much smaller flame trail.
And in fact it's a very clean ... we can go faster, but that's a secondary issue.
Ok well that was fairly successful, um the flame trail was very much reduced, but what
I'm doing at the moment is forcing the air across the surface.
Now maybe I can achieve the same result by blocking off the honeycomb table, because
at the moment the honeycomb table is compromising our flow.
We've got the cover going down, which is the way that you would have to operate this machine,
and so now if you remember, I've got a 1/2" air gap underneath the front of this machine
here.
I've put some fairly thick rubber feet under the end here, so I've got a nice air gap under
here, which is blowing in and allowing a large amount of air, relatively speaking to flow
in and blow across the job.
At the back of the machine, you can see these holes, this is where the only air is going
down into the table beneath.
There is a small amount of leakage around the edge of the table here , but most of the
air is being drawn in and across the machine and going down through those holes at the
back there.
So what we've done, we've introduced basically a cross flow of air, both beneath and above
the work.
Lets see what the results are like compared to my "Wall of Wind"?
Basically a very large comet tail.
Now the end result compares well with our "Wall of Wind".
Here are our 3 no air assist samples, we've got the one with the big comet tail, and maybe
it is sort of um, Just very slightly hazy in this area.
This one is perfectly clean, this had big comet tails on it as well.
This was the wall of wind, and that looks quite nice, but no significant difference
between that and this.
Except the flame, now as I said to you, you Shouldn't really be worried about the flame,
providing you are with the machine and there is nothing around here which is going to suffer
from being heated, then that trail of flame is actually doing the best thing it possibly
can do, which is burn up all the debris.
So it never settles back on your job, now I did say that this was going to be slightly
controversial and I'm sure Thinklaser wouldn't want you to run your machine with a comet
tail.
So we're going to have to find another way of doing it.
Well I did say what we're going to do next, you will not be allowed to do half of the
things I'm able to do, so I've just had a bit of a think and a bit of a brain wave,
and I'm wondering whether an adaption that I've made to the head will actually work.
So I've turned the air assist back on, but as you can see the air assist is not exactly
going where it went originally.
Let's press the button and see what happens....
Well so far, so good.
Well we still have a flame, but of course now it's not doing any damage.
Ok so that was a bit of a failure wasn't it, um, the results were quite good, but then
again as we've seen before anything with a fiery tail produces quite good results.
Um not necessarily good for the machine as I said.
It will certainly be frowned upon by everybody, including Thinklaser.
You see, what was the thinking behind what I was trying to do.
Well it was a small shroud that i put around the nozzle and on one side of the shroud I
drilled a big hole like that, and on the other side of the shroud I put in a tube, like this,
for my air assist and the idea was that the air assist was going to go out here and as
it went out here with a sort of a Venturi effect it was going to draw air out from the
inside and hopefully produce a swirling effect as it did so.
In other words, I was producing a sort of a Whirlwind inside that enclosure, the attempt
was to try and draw air up and in, and produce a negative pressure inside there to pull the
fumes up and throw them out the side.
Rather than try and eject them up through like a vacuum tube or a vacuum cleaner that
would need an external source I had hoped to use the positive pressure of this air assist
to produce a sort of vacuum.
Well, thinking about it, it's got to be a hell of a vacuum, a hell of a suck to take
away the fumes and prevent burning.
Maybe upon reflection, not my brightest idea today.
Now apart from a little bit of collateral damage here, which a little bit of acetone
will very quickly cure, um no parts of this machine were harmed in the making of this
video.
Now as they say on kids programs, "Please don't do this at home" and in a strange sort
of way, I've got to say the same sort of thing.
I've mentioned it before, I can do things with this machine that you will not be allowed
to do because you won't be able to get into this machine to use it in the way that I am.
And I wouldn't want you to do some of the things that I am doing today.
I'm doing them so that you don't have to, if you've got an inquisitive mind then hopefully
I'm there before you and I will take away the need for you to do some of the things
I've done today.
But the fundamental lesson is, that we need full air assist when we're doing cutting,
otherwise we shall get comet trails and fire extinguishers at the ready.
We need zero air assist for clean engraving, now that is totally contrary to most advice
that you will get and you certainly won't find anything about this information when
it comes to parameters.
So I've dealt with this as a separate issue outside the parameters because I don't really
want to go back and explain why I'm using zero air assist when we talk about engraving
parameters.
It's a big enough subject all on it's own as you've seen.
Now I must hastily add quickly this applies to organic materials, acrylic is a special
subject all on it's own and it deserves a full session talking about cutting and maybe
a full session talking about engraving acrylic because it is a very very interesting material.
Thank you very much for your time and attention today and I hope you've enjoyed some of the
fireworks.
Fire extinguishers away now, and relax.
See you next time.

LOGAN PAUL: UNEDUCATED or intentional LAW BREAKER - Duration: 11:14.
Hi, paws! Welcome to PawsandLove my name's. NJ. This is my service dog, Hero. Today,
We're going to talk about whether or not Logan Paul is just uneducated, or whether he is purposely and intentionally
breaking federal laws. Quick disclaimer, this video is not designed to be rant-ish, this is not designed to be a
salty video this is not designed to be a video that is for, um,
a call-out, necessarily.
This video is designed to educate and to hopefully spread awareness to the point where maybe Logan will see this video,
realize what he's doing wrong, and then proceed to
change his ways, hopefully. I know I'm not that popular,
but I can try. So the first question all of you are probably wondering,
if you are new to this channel, is "What is a service dog?" So a service dog, as defined by the ADA [Americans with Disabilities Act], is an
animal trained to perform tasks that specifically mitigate that handlers
disability. So this means for me that Hero is a medical response, mobility, and psychiatric service dog.
Of these tasks,
he specifically mitigates my disabilities, one being a rare chronic illness that does affect me in my everyday life, and
to the point where I can't walk very well. So why are people so angry with Logan Paul
bringing his dog in public? This is not
because he- I have something against him. This is not because we just hate him.
This is specifically because in the US, service dog handlers are protected by something called the Americans with Disabilities Act,
meaning that people or businesses can only ask us two questions when we are entering a building. These two questions are:
What--
"Is this a service animal," and the second question is, "What is this animal trained to do?" so like,
What is this-
What are this animal's tasks?
So when Logan brings his puppy into places, and presents them with the certificate that he showed us in one of the videos,
this means that this business now
thinks it's okay to ask for a certificate, or thinks that all service dogs have a certificate or an ID card.
Which is just simply not the case. Hero and I do not have an ID card or a certificate,
because his only certificates are ones from his training classes, and those don't count as any sort of licensing or public access
granting... things.
In addition to that, a lot of people are saying "Oh, maybe"-- I see this a lot, in response to service dog handlers comments,
"He does have a disability, Kong is for his disability," um
No. (chuckle)
Kong is not for his disability, and I'm going to tell you why. I'm not saying that Logan doesn't have a disability,
He very well might! I don't know, I don't know his life. I don't watch very many of his videos.
He might have a disability. Um,
but,
Kong is only five months old.
Literally, I will show you this- the screen cap that shows you how old the video is when he brought Kong home.
And essentially,
service dogs take two to three years to train,
depending on what they need to learn, how they need to learn it, and how fast they learn.
That is not a reflection of the dog's ability, that is just the fact, because there is so much training that goes
into training a service dog that it requires that amount of time and training every single day, sometimes for two to three hours.
This is because dogs-- service dogs, in addition to their task training, also require something called public access training,
meaning that the dog has to be trained to go out in public and
behave, meaning not sniffing anything, not sniffing anyone-- I have a dog in my lap now.
Basically what's happening is: Kong is the reason I made this video in the first place.
I wasn't going to, but then I saw a clip of Kong, his [Logan's] dog,
barking at a very-- what looked like to be a legitimate service dog, and
that is something that I find very troublesome. I'm going to insert the clip here.
[Kong barking while Logan dances]
And in addition to Kong barking at another very valid-looking service dog, um,
we see in another clip that he allows his dog to go to the bathroom on the public floor, and
not where service animals are supposed to go. Service animals are trained to go to the bathroom on command,
when asked,
therefore
preventing them from having to go on public flooring.
Service dogs are also able to hold it up to about six to eight hours at a time, depending on the size of the dog.
[Logan speaking] --to, like, entice dogs that they need to poop or pee. Some people are just so smart, dude!
You're doing that in the wrong spot dog, you
totally missed the grass and the cool fire hydrant. Struggles of being a dad!
Go Kong, go! Evan, take care of your dog! [Evan] That's not my dog!
[Logan] Yeah, it is. You're the one with the leash. Yo, what's this guy's dog doing? What's his dog doing?
He also puts Kong directly on a drinking fountain, which is very very unethical, because Kong probably is carrying
garbage,
bacteria,
pathogens on his toes,
meaning that when Logan put him on the drinking fountain, he just endangered an entire population of people who may ignore the
"Broken" sign and continue to drink out of it anyway.
[Logan] --Standing here, and I see this water fountain, right, it says "out of service,"
But what happens if you put a service dog on the water fountain? There we go. OOOHHHH!!
Now, this situation wouldn't be as bad or as important to me if Logan
had a well-behaved dog. If Kong was well behaved and not distracting other dogs,
maybe I wouldn't care as much. I'd still care, because faking a service dog is never okay, however,
he doesn't do that. Um, he lets Kong bark at other dogs, he lets Kong pee on the floor,
He puts Kong on public things- like drinking fountains, places where people are going to put their mouths- um, and I'm not
entirely positive that he picked up his dog's poop when he [the dog] pooed.
He also pooed directly in the middle of the airport instead of the bathroom. Here's my thing though,
I don't necessarily think Logan knows that what he's doing is wrong.
From what I've seen, it doesn't look like it.
But it's still something that he needs to stop doing. So what do I think at the end of this video?
I think that Logan Paul is severely uneducated, and, from a Youtuber standpoint, knowing how many
comments can build up after you've reached 1,000 subscribers, even, it's very difficult to keep up with all the comments and
I'm not entirely sure that he reads the comments at all.
So this would equate, and explain why Logan Paul doesn't
necessarily know what we're trying to tell him, if he's not reading the information. And in doing this video,
I hope to spread-- Oh my gosh
In doing this video,
I hope to spread awareness for fake service dog fraud and
Spread awareness for real service dogs and to show how a service dog actually behaves.
Now, I'm going to show you what a service dog actually behaves, by putting a few clips of hero that we shot today
around the screen.
[Sounds of a store, NJ giving Hero various commands, and Hero being a very good boy]
See??
[Continued sounds of a store, NJ giving Hero various commands, and Hero being a very good boy]
Real service dog!
[Continued sounds of a store, NJ giving Hero various commands, and Hero being a very good boy]
Um, service dogs never bark, service dogs will-- unless they are alerting their handler to something.
Service dogs will not be sniffing things, unless asked to by their handler, if they are an Allergen Detection dog.
Service dogs are also not only for blind people. I have a condition called postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome,
I have PTSD, I have severe anxiety I have dysthymic disorder, I have gastroparesis,
And I am here telling you right now that I am not as healthy as I look on camera. Before you comment on
my videos, "You don't look sick," keep in mind that I go through
hours of treatments every day, and have to spend 20 minutes of my life every single morning
doing a nebulizer treatment that can save my life. Even now, after my nebulizer treatment, my lungs still feel junky.
So it's important to keep in mind that, even though a person may not look disabled, that doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't.
That's why I'm not going to go ahead and assume that Logan Paul
isn't disabled, because he very well might have a disability or an invisible disability that I
cannot see, and before you guys comment it: No, color blindness is not a disability.
I'm gonna address directly to Logan for a minute. If he ever comes across this video, probably not, but if he does:
Logan,
service dog handlers aren't mad at you.
We just want you to apologize and to stop doing what you're doing.
Because we're trying to do our best to educate you so that you'll understand that what you're doing
isn't appropriate or correct and is actually, in fact, illegal.
So, all we service dog handlers ask is that you stop taking Kong out into public and labeling him as a service dog, and
Just pay the flight for Kong. It's not that expensive.
It's not that bad. Just do it the way you're supposed to, please.

Truth or Drink Bridesmaids - Danielle, Marisa & Autumn - Duration: 5:30.
- Has he peed on you? - No.
I'm trying to think but I don't--
- Taylor has done that and it has
gotten me so mad, like, that is not cool.
- Why I'm not in a relationship 101 right now.
(laughing)
(dramatic orchestra)
- My name is Danielle, this is my sister Marisa,
and this is my best friend Autumn.
And they're my bridesmaids.
Okay.
Should I not get married?
- No, you should. I love Kerigan.
- I agree, you should definitely get married.
- Good 'cause-- - Wait, how old are you?
- I'm 24.
- [Interviewer] Don't you think she's a little young guys?
- No. - She's young but
I think her and Kerigan have like the same mindset.
- And I'm not getting married till next year
so it's like a whole another year almost.
- Yeah, you'll be like 25 instead of 24, so.
(laughing)
- Yeah.
- To Danielle and Kerigan.
(Marisa laughing) Pick up your drinks ladies.
I'm gonna dump it on you if you don't drink it.
Okay. - Oh, okay I guess we're
going for it.
- Oh yay. - This is why I'm
throwing the party. What the heck?
You have alcohol in here.
- I told you that, I was like this.
Yeah cheers. - Come on.
- And then I put it down, you can have that.
- When did you first sleep with your partner?
- First day I met him.
(laughing) Probably a couple hours
after I met him.
- We met him at a bar.
- He came home to my apartment
to stay the night and never left after that.
- It was pretty instant, I was there and it was really cool.
- Have we ever slept with the same person.
- Yes. (laughing)
Not at the same time, but, yes.
- I dated him for like two and half or three years and then.
- And then I dated him for three years.
- [Interviewer] Was he good in bed?
(laughing)
- Yep. - You know what
It's a no. - No, well I think I had
a different experience so, we don't, we actually haven't
talked about this because he was like
my first super serious relationship, so,
it really kind of broke my heart and then we weren't
friends for a little bit, but
now it's like it doesn't even matter.
- Can I take a drink?
(Autumn laughing)
- Woo!
- Do you think you'll get bored with sleeping
with the same person forever?
(laughing)
- No, I don't think so. We try new things.
We try to keep it a little bit spicy I guess.
- What's the favorite thing that you've
done that's like super out of the ordinary.
- I mean. - Come on girl, I know you.
- I don't want to talk about this.
- It's okay, tell us.
- My sister needs a drink, so. - No.
- You're gonna drink? - Answer the question.
- Drink, drink, drink. (laughing)
(knock on wood)
Have you ever been attracted to my fiance?
No, I think that I like him for you.
- Kerigan is a really nice guy.
- He's super nice.
- Yeah. - Yeah totally.
- [Interviewer] But not attractive is what you're saying.
- No, he's very sweet and then - No, dude, if she thinks he's
hot, dude, that's chill with me.
- No, I just think that he's like.
- Cause obviously she doesn't.
Just kidding. (laughing hysterically)
- No, Kerigan is a very nice looking
man but - His hairline.
(laughing) - I'm sorry.
- You know what, he can't help that.
- I can't even describe - That makes
me the bitch for saying that. - Yeah it does.
Because you know what, - I know.
- I can't describe how much I love him, like, okay.
His arms, girl.
- No, just not my type, I guess, even though--
- I know, I know your type too, so.
- Yeah.
- Do you think I'll ever get married?
- Yes, I do. I think that-- - Why?
- Because I think it's just gonna take time, like--
- No, because guess what, that's full of bullshit.
I'm 24 years old.
Between the time of now and
the time I'm 30 I'm gonna change.
I fucking like cucumbers, nobody likes cucumbers.
(laughing)
How the fuck do I know if I'm gonna like cucumbers
in five years, like I don't and then I'm gonna have
nobody and I'm gonna be sad, so you know what I'd rather do?
Make a lot of money, buy a cool car, have a house,
have my own shit together and if I find a man, cool.
He can join my little club thing,
we can make a lot of money, but.
I evidently I forgot
to take my last drink. - Me too.
- So, I should probably just pour.
Can I get some more vodka?
- You have vodka.
- Yeah, but I need a full shot. This is bullshit.
- [Interviewer] That is a full shot.
- Dude, I'm not a bitch and I need a little more.
So, I don't know what to tell you.
- (chuckling) Oh my God.
Can I skip this? I don't--
- No, read it. Let's see, what is it?
- Am I rushing this?
- No, I think you're doing. Well, like honesty--
- I think you're rushing a little.
- With the wedding, or with like the whole engagement thing?
'Cause the wedding is
like a year away - The whole engagement
in general.
- [Interviewer] How long were you together
before you got engaged?
- Not even a year. - It was in, so,
we met in October, we got engaged in July, but
the wedding isn't until like over a year and a half away.
Do you think me and my partner will last?
- Yes. - I think so.
- I think that he just, genuinely loves you, like,
If you never looked at his fucking dick again he probably
wouldn't even care because he loves you that much and
it's like, that's the kind of love that you want.
(laughing)
- You guys. - What are we doing this one?
- You do whatever you can to keep your man happy.
(glass clinking)
- Danielle, I'm really happy for you and Kerigan.
- Oh yeah, we're so happy for you.

- Nope, I won't.
- That's my cup.
- Oh, no no. - Well guess what,

- But I still have a napkin.
- You know what I wish I had. - Hey guys, say "cheers."
- Cheers. - And don't worry

- She was gonna drink it anyways.
- It's okay, we're Ubering home.
- I'm not driving bitch.

Will Ferrell and Adam McKay Remember Obama vs Galifianakis (10 Years of Funny Or Die - 2014) - Duration: 2:39.
(upbeat techno music)
- The year was 2014.
(air guitar)
Scientist in northern California came up with a crazy idea.
What if we made white paper all the same size
and they created typing paper.
For Funny Or Die, perhaps the biggest video
in the history of the site.
- It was all about the ACA.
The Affordable Care Act - The Affordable Care Act
Zach Galifianakis--
- That pudgy little weirdo
- [Adam] Was able to reel in the most powerful man
- [Will] on planet Earth,
- [Adam] Barack Obama.
Zach Galifianakis, that fat little jerk,
- Was able to get the leader of the free world
to sit down and do a Between Two Ferns.
- And it truly was the biggest thing.
And it was shot in the White House.
- You've been shooting these shows?
Here in the Diplomatic Room?
(awkward pause) Who gave you permission to do that?
(pause continues) - Bush
- Seriously? Who gave him clearance?
- Zach, that sweaty palmed little pervert,
showed up and they filmed the entire thing--
- Zach Galifianakis, the North Carolina hillbilly,
had to trade in a pair of overalls and bare feet
to put on a suit and tie to walk into the White House.
- He had to put on a shirt with a collar instead of a barrel
and go in the White House.
- He had to put his tobacco spit-cup down for half a second,
and fly on an airplane for the first time,
and go to Washington, D.C.
- And oh, what a video it was.
The video Between Two Ferns with Obama and Zach Galifianakis
actually generated millions of people signing up
for the Affordable Care Act.
I actually told Mike Farah at the time, and this is serious,
I said that video literally saved
tens of thousands of lives - Saved lives.
- Which is crazy if you think about it.
And best of all it's actually laugh-out-loud funny.
They're actually really--
And to do that with someone as powerful as Obama
is really remarkable. And a testament to the fact
that Obama, I'm gonna say, funny as president? Right?
- Ah, Yeah
- That really was a seminal event for Funny Or Die.
I actually was kinda moved by it when it happened.
For this site to be affecting the national discussion;
truly exciting.
- Very much so.
And Zach got his teeth fixed for it.
- [Adam] He did.

For Houston dialysis patients, getting treatment during the disaster means life or death - Duration: 3:40.
MILES O'BRIEN: Harvey has strained the health care system in Houston as well.
Aside from attending to the injured, there are also lifesaving treatments need by patients
with chronic diseases.
One of those is dialysis.
Tomeka Weatherspoon from Houston Public Media visited the DaVita Medical Center Dialysis
facility and filled me in a little while ago.
Tomeka, thank you for being with us.
First off, just give us an idea of how many people we're talking about here.
TOMEKA WEATHERSPOON, Houston Public Media: Well, when we arrived, there were upwards
of at least 100 people in the clinic.
When I was talking to some of the volunteers and the staff there, they were saying they
had seen hundreds, hundreds who had come in during the storm.
They were only closed for one day, and that's just because Sunday was horrific for anybody
trying to travel.
But other than that, they have been open and they have been seeing patients and getting
quite a bit of overflow.
MILES O'BRIEN: Try to give us an idea of how serious this problem is, Tomeka.
If someone misses a dialysis appointment, that's a big deal, isn't it?
TOMEKA WEATHERSPOON: It's a huge deal.
Honestly, if you miss an appointment, these treatments are regularly and scheduled for
a reason.
It's deadly.
It's potentially deadly, potentially fatal if you don't receive these treatments.
Dialysis itself is to clean out the blood.
So, certain types of liver and kidney diseases, they're unable to do that.
So it's really critical that they're able to get these treatments.
I talked to a doctor, Dr. Olivero, at the clinic.
And he was just telling me how his staff is working nonstop pretty much to administer
these treatments to all of these people.
DR.
JUAN OLIVERO, Houston Methodist Hospital: What is an inconvenience for many people,
having these types of storms, it can be a matter of life and death to these dialysis
patients.
MILES O'BRIEN: Tomeka, I know you have had chance to talk to some patients.
How are they coping?
TOMEKA WEATHERSPOON: It was really difficult, actually, to be in the clinic.
There were a lot of people waiting for this lifesaving treatment.
And just the distance people had to come to get there, it's really -- it's really, really
tough to kind of witness that.
But the patients I was able to speak with were really optimistic and really grateful
to have a clinic that was actually open when their local clinic had been closed due to
all of the flooding and just difficulty with traveling.
I talked to a patient while she was receiving treatment.
Her name was Debrah Payne, and she was just really happy to still be alive.
DEBRAH PAYNE, Dialysis Patient: I was afraid.
I just -- I didn't know what I was going to do.
And I'm sure all the other people who couldn't make it who know that they have to do this
to survive were concerned about whether they were going to make it here or not.
MILES O'BRIEN: This has to be a huge strain on the hospital staffs.
Give us sense of how they're coping.
TOMEKA WEATHERSPOON: Well, they're being really optimistic, much like some of the people,
the patients that I spoke with.
They were really passionate, and really, really cared about helping everyone that was there.
But they were still working incredibly long hours.
And, honestly, you can see them a little bit tired.
You can kind of see it in their eyes.
But they really cared about what they were doing.
They were understaffed, and, you know, had not as much resources as they probably need.
But they were just really, really passionate about helping everyone that was there.
MILES O'BRIEN: Tomeka Weatherspoon with Houston Public Media, thank you.
TOMEKA WEATHERSPOON: Thank you.
MILES O'BRIEN: A reminder that, if you're looking to give to Harvey relief efforts,
you can donate to a number of groups working on the ground.
Organizations, including the Red Cross, are accepting donations online or by phone.

Distributed Ledger Technology or Blockchain Continued - Duration: 4:39.
I'm attorney Laura Anthony founding partner of Legal & Compliance, a full service corporate,
securities, and business transactions law firm.
Today is the continuation in a LawCast series talking about distributed ledger technology
or blockchain.
Distributed Ledger Technology, sometimes called DLT or blockchain involves a distributed database
maintained over a network of computers where information can be added by the network participants.
Each added layer of information or data is referred to as a block.
The network participants can share and retain identical cryptographically secured information
and records.
DLT uses either a public or private network.
A public network is open and accessible to anyone that joins, without restrictions.
All data stored on a public network is visible to anyone on the network, although it is encrypted.
A public network has no central authority and relies solely on the network participants
to verify transactions and record data on the network.
Algorithm and computational technology is used to protect the integrity of the data.
A private network is limited to individuals and entities that are granted access by a
network operator.
Access can be tiered with different entities being allowed differing levels of authority
to transact and view data.
In the financial services industry, it is likely that networks will be private.
The transactions and data on the network usually represent an underlying asset that may be
digital assets, such as cryptosecurities and cryptocurrencies, or a representation of a
hard asset stored offline, a token representing an interest in a gold bar, for example.
Assets on a DLT network are cryptographically secured using public and private key combinations.
The public key combination allows access to the network itself, and the private key combination
is for access to the asset itself and is held by the asset holder or its agent, i.e. the
person the network participant.
A transaction may be initiated by any party on the network that holds assets on that network.
When a transaction is initiated, it is verified using a predetermined process that can be
either consensus-based or proof-of-work based, although new verification processes are being
explored.
In layman's terms, the verification process is based on digital computations.
The settlement of the transaction occurs when verification is completed.
Currently this can occur immediately or take up to a few hours.
Once verified, a transaction is cryptographically hashed and forms a permanent record on the
DLT network.
Yes, a permanent record on the DLT network.
Records are time-stamped and displayed sequentially to all parties with network access.
Currently, historical records cannot be edited or changed, though technology is being developed
that will be able to change that.

[BANANA ACTUALLY S2] EP10. Is it my heart or my body that wants you? - Duration: 3:03.
BANANA ACTUALLY SEASON 2 EP10. Is It My Heart Or My Body That Wants You?
Are you asleep yet?
It was 1:40 am
I wondered how you were doing
if you are missing me like I miss you
or if you are seeing someone
or if you are still mad at me
or if you have forgiven me a little
If I can see you again
I wanted to ask you
if you really are OK
Sometimes I want to ask you
When you go home alone around this time of the day
if you had dinner
or how you are feeling
When I have no new texts in my inbox
When you happen to walk by
my shop that you always dropped by after work
Or when you walk the street we walked together
or eat the food we enjoyed together
or come across someone who looks like me
I want to ask you how you are holding up?
Weren't you feeling sorry at that time?
Tell me
Tell you what?
Tell me anything
I'm sorry
Why did you do it?
Who is she?
No one
I never thought you would cheat on me
Nothing happened
How can I trust you?
Tell me
I love you
But still, you did what you did. Who was she?
I said no one
What did you like about her?
I didn't like her
Tell me, what was it like to be with her?
Let's stop talking about it
Is she pretty?
I'm sorry
Why did you do it?
Who is she?
How old is she?
What does she do?
Did you love her?
Does she know about me?
How did you break up with her
Does she know?
Why the heck did you meet her?
Did you break up with her at all?
Did you tell her how long we've been together?
So tell me, how was it to be with her?
Is she pretty?
Tell me what she is like
what she is good at
what made you attracted to her, and why you fell for her
But if I ask you these, I will look ridiculous
If I'm not being cool with it, and being sloshy
I will look miserable like you
So, if I go out with you again
I'll think of her every time I see you
I know that
That's why I'm not going to see you
But I am still waiting for you
Is it because my heart wants you?
Or just because
my body seeks you?
Is it my heart, or my body that wants you? #We_broke_up_but_I_miss_you

GoT's Tyrion fan theory is wrong, he's not a traitor or jealous of Jon - Duration: 2:28.
GoT's Tyrion fan theory is wrong, he's not a traitor or jealous of Jon
AS JON Snow and Daenerys Targaryen committed auntcest at the end of season seven, footage of Tyrion Lannister lurking in the shadows with a strange look on his face sent fans into meltdown.
Many fans think this means Tyrion is in love with Dany and is now jealous of Jon.
And the act of steamy auntcest that they committed will drive him to betray Dany and help out the Lannisters (if he hasn't already promised that to Cersei).
However, the episode's director Jeremy Podeswa has poured cold water on these fevered theories. LISTEN TO OUR GAME OF THRONES PODCAST, WINTER IS HERE.
"That moment, for me, was. really about Tyrion having witnessed what he witnessed this year, having a great deal of concern about what the consequences of this might be in the future," he told website Mashable.
"There was a previous understanding of what the alliance between all these parties was about, and now that's complicated by the fact that there's a more intimate relationship we see [between] two of the key players in this alliance, one of whom is the person he's really devoted his life to at this point: Daenerys." Tyrion cares about Daenerys but he's not in love with her.
"Now Jon will more than likely have a larger role to play, and what kind of choices is Daenerys going to make now that she has changed the dynamic between her and Jon? "Is she now going to make choices based on the fact that she has an intimate relationship with him, or is she still going to be as pragmatic and strong as she would otherwise be? All that is a question now, and as her chief strategist — as her Hand — not being able to see what the future holds is a worry." So, basically Tyrion is not like Ser Jorah, who will be seriously pissed off that Dany has found love with her nephew.
Instead, Tyrion is worried about what will happen to the relationship. After all, love doesn't usually end too well on this show.
In fact it's hard to think of one that hasn't ended in disaster, with the exception of Sam and Gilly. And he's got a point, as well.
After all, one of them has to Azor Ahai, the saviour prophesied to kill the Night King with a sword that has to be plunged into the heart of their true love first.
He's got a right to be worried. But he's not a traitor. yet.
