hello Dave here from Dave's guitar lessons today we're going to be doing a
strum along song so the idea behind strum along songs is to take a basic
stripped-down version of a song with just the chorrds and a strumming pattern they
are generally relatively easy versions of the songs for you to do your own
cover versions with so today we're doing an easy guitar lesson of feels by Calvin
Harris featuring Pharrell Williams Katy Perry and Big Sean so it's basically
gonna be an easy chords guitar lesson of feels by Calvin Harris so if you like

started so the first thing we're going to be needing to play this song is a
capo which replaces the second fret okay so the cards we're going to be using for
this song are D minor G major E minor and a7 so I'm just gonna go through a
breakdown of those cards so if you already know those cards please feel
free to skip ahead now there is also one more card to this tune but we'll come to
that later on because it's quite a difficult card and to be honest you
don't really need to do it to do a cover of this song but I will go through
anyway just to be just a bit sure we've covered everything so we'll start with
the D minor chord so a D minor is gonna be first finger on the first fret on the
high E string the second finger on the second fret of the g string and the
third finger on the third fret of the B string now this is a D minor chord so
we're going to be starting from the D string so it is strum from the fourth
from the fourth string which is the third string from the top and we strum
all the way down it's a minor car so I was quite a sad
sound okay so the next is a jean a jacquard announced a few ways we can do
this each of them are valid and you can use any one of these different versions
it's just a lot down to preference and different fingerings that you prefer to
use so a first one I'll show you is this is this shape which is first finger on
the second fret of the a string second finger on the third fret of the low E
string then the third finger on the third fret of the b-string and little
finger on the third fret of the high E string
now you can also do that we've changing these two fingers around so you could
put take off your finger all together and just move your ring finger or third
finger down of strings that's on the high E string third fret that's quite a
common way of playing G major I think Zak same thing there's no
problem you're doing that version now what I sometimes do is I'll do that
exactly version I've just gone through but I will do of different fingers and I
posted found certain chord changes just I found easy to play with these three
fingers so same chord shape same notes but this time I'm playing second second
finger on the second fret of the a string third finger on the third fret of
the low E string and little finger on the third fret of the high E string so
it's the exact same notes exact same pattern just just change fingers around
okay now an E minor chord so basically minor card is just second fret on the a
string and 2nd fret on the D string so you could do that with your first two
fingers only do that with your seconds who fingers it really doesn't matter
which way around you do it as long as you playing second from the
air string the second fret on the D string so this one we strum down from
the low E string as well which is actually the same as the G card I didn't
mention that before so G chord you're so strong from the year low E string and
the E minor chord we also strung from the East Room and now we're on to the a7
card so the a7 card is basically just 2nd fret on the D string and I'm using
my second finger then it's the second fret on the B string with your third
finger so you were streaming from the a string so it's open on the air 2nd fret
on the D string open on the g string 2nd fret on the B string and then open on
the high E string
so a strong pattern that I'm using to go along with this song so I think it gives
quite a similar vibe to the song is down then you miss the next down but you're
do an alt down and then you follow that with a knob down so when you get that
together it should go down
now it doesn't sound like much when you play quite slowly but once you
understand the kind of the feel of it and just play along with this for a
moment it should start to make a bit of sense down down up down up down down up
down
now I personally find that just gives you the kind of the feel of the song but
you can use a lot of different things in this size so if you find that kind of
rhythm quite tricky to do there is no reason why you can't do your normal
rhythms like even if you're just used to playing just eighth note down strumming
still gives you the sound of the Sun so if that's all you can do then that's
absolutely fine so does that pattern once for each card so the card
progression is basically D minor
that's a G major
it's a minor vente air seven
and it repeats it basically does that from pretty much the entire song so it's
one car progression constantly
let's try that together I'll do it nice and slow at first so you can play along
with me we're going to do this kind of temple
that kind of speed one two three-and four-and
okay so basically that's the entire song all the way through with that one
progression if you're doing this as like a cover version that you're doing
yourself you want to play live do busking whatever you want to do if
you're doing a go on version it can help to play with the rhythms a bit so maybe
do the verses with quite a law down dynamic and then the chorus with a bit
more dynamic so maybe use a different restoring pattern on the verses to the
car assist so like I said my father's doing down strums so there's lots of
things you can do with your doing your own cooler version so I say experiment
and try and make it a little bit your own but these are the general cards for
the entire tunes so if you're going to play these cards over this song it's
gonna sound like the song so also what's covered what I suppose we could call the
bridge section which is towards the end of the song which is the bit where Big
Sean does he's wrapped in the song now all the most of that section is
literally just playing the D minor card so you just playing D minor
and you can do the same rhythm you could change the rhythm do whatever you want
to do I mean if you're doing the rap part to it you'll probably find your own
comfortable way of playing a rhythm whilst you're doing your rapping but
it's basically just d-minor all the way through that section now it's at the
very end of the rap section and there's a bit of a buildup which leads you back
into the main section if there's a card in there that's the b-flat card which
can be quite tricky to play but I'll go through with you anyways so at the end
of that rap section it goes G major to a7
then to b-flat now b-flat has to be a bar card so it's a first fret bar and
then it's got your second finger on the third fret of the D string third finger
on the third fret of the g string and little finger on the third fret of the B
string and I sometimes do that with a flattened finger approach that same
thing and then after the B flight it just goes to a C major card you normal C
major ship which we didn't cover in the first power because again this is just a
bit of an add-on at the end of the tune really the C major card is just a third
finger on the third fret of the a string second finger on the second fret of the
D string and then the first finger on the B string of the first fret you strum
that from the fifth string so from the second string down or way to the bottom
so everything that we haven't mentioned has all put apart from the top stream
which is muted so that at the end so the rap section is best the D - quite a
while
let's pretend
now I'm aware this is quite a difficult card especially if you just want to
learn strum along burdens of songs so if you don't know how to do this or you
find that really tricky to do then do we just do that D minor right until the end
of the wrap and then just bring it back into the to the to the verse or the
chorus section at the end so that's how you play feels by Calvin Harris

How Microneedling with PRP and HydraFacial Work Well Together by Spacing and Alternating Treatments - Duration: 7:02.

You state in your question that you're going to undergo microneedling and PRP.
And you're asking is it okay to do other procedures like Hydrafacial in between these
treatments.
Well, I can certainly share with you my guidance to my patients in assessing what their needs
are and where these modalities have a role and how they can be complementary to achieve
the desired outcome.
A little bit of background, I'm a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial
plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
I have been in practice in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years.
The concepts of microneedling and PRP and Hydrafacial are essentially commonplace in
our practice as we help a lot of our patients improve their skin.
But again, as I mentioned earlier, it's important to define the solution and strategy
of implementing the solutions based on the problem.
So when you ask about microneedling and about PRP, well there are ways to do these procedures
depending on what the underlying issue is.
We can be doing these procedures to help sun damaged skin, to help fine lines and wrinkles,
to help acne scars.
With each of those different problems comes a different type of approach with microneedling.
Microneedling can be set to be very superficial to go to a medium depth or fairly deep into
the skin depending on what you want to achieve.
The concept of microneedling is essentially something called to induce or it's called
collagen induction therapy.
What we're doing with microneedling is creating selective little entry points in the skin
and the body regenerates a healing response that can stimulate and improve the quality
of the skin and essentially tighten the skin as well.
PRP enhances very effectively that effect of collagen induction therapy so that works
very well in complementing each other and it's very helpful and why is it fairly often
particularly for crow's feet lines around the eyes.
Now when it comes to Hydrafacial, Hydrafacial has essentially in our practice, displaced
what we use to do with microdermabrasion.
Basically, microdermabrasion was very effective to try to take off the top layers of dead
skin and refresh the skin in a very controlled way.
And it allowed for that same day nice look afterwards by, typically my aesthetician would
do a microdermabrasion and then do some type of a hydration mask or some type of other
modality to help improve the glow of the skin.
Well, Hydrafacial now does that with combination with water as well as some active ingredients
such as glycolic acid to infuse into the skin and essentially, puts everything together.
And I feel like the water is a little bit more gentle and at the same time effective
when it comes to the exfoliation of the top layers of skin.
Now, when we are dealing with issues such as fine lines as well as superficial discolorations
as well as in patients who have darker skin types, I find that Hydrafacial with glycolic
acid is very effective.
Now one temptation is to be aggressive and that's when people get into a little bit
of trouble.
Essentially, you don't want to put these procedures together too close and you want
to allow a certain amount of healing to occur after the microneedling before you do Hydrafacial.
A lot of times what I'll do is I will alternate the procedure on a monthly basis.
So one month of the microneedling with PRP, the next month they'll do Hydrafacial, the
month after that, they'll do microneedling.
It's all about customization.
So to answer your question, it is, yes, possible to do Hydrafacial in between but you have
to have a clear understanding of what the problem is, what the strategy is and what
expected outcome you would anticipate.
And once you have that under control, all of these procedures can be minimally aggressive
to highly aggressive and it depends on what the underlying issue is and how to strategize
to maximize the body's response.
You know, it's like working out in the gym.
You want to train but you don't want to over train.
If you over train, you end up losing ground.
Same thing with skin, you over treat, you can actually lose ground.
So ask your doctor these questions and learn about what strategy will work best for you
and take it from there.

pumps; black or beige. Now in the world of technology
this might seem foreign, but I always try to make sure I carry money on me...
unfortunately this is about the amount I make sure to carry, but if you have an
emergency it's nice to have twenty dollars in case you need to get a taxi
because you're phones dead and you can't get a hold of Uber. On the topic of your
phone die, everybody brings their phone but not everybody brings their charger
so I make sure to include both of thos. If I have crud under my nails and
it's a beauty shoot I feel like I might have just ruined the whole shoot so I
make sure to bring nude nail polish, just on the off trace, because I want the
photos are going to be as good as they can possibly be.
Bring lotion because the one time that you don't is also going to be the one
time where the makeup artist didn't bring lotion. Chapstick -
because I live in the world of thirst for my lips... there's no amount of water
that's gonna make these babies soft. Three weeks ago my pits were not as
close to of a shave as they could have been,
so now I carry this on me at all times. I wouldn't bring it on a plane but
if you can carry it on you it can function as a weapon worst case scenario.

You can put anything in your miso soup, but today I have tofu and wakame, or seaweed.
Once it starts boiling, I'm going to leave it in for two more minutes and then I can take out the packet.
Alright, two minutes has passed, I'm going to take this out
and put in tofu and wakame.
Alright so I just put in the tofu and wakame.
Let that cook for a bit.
Alright it cooked for a bit so now I'm going to stop it and put in the miso.
Here I have some organic miso.
It looks like this.
I'm just going to grab some.
Like about that much.
And then, I put it in and then you use the chopsticks to kind of make it melt.
Just kind of go like that.
Melt the miso into the miso soup.
This prevents chunking and make sure that it goes into the miso soup nice and smooth.
When the miso is inside, it'll look like this.
The key point is at this point it shouldn't be boiling.
That is why I turned off the heat.
You can just add some green onions and it's done!
So this is called, ofu, and you can just toss it in.
It just adds a little texture.
There are different types of ofu.
There is this type, this type, this type, and this type.
It just adds a little fun aspect to your miso soup.

HOW TO LEARN ENGLISH: MOTIVATION (ENG SUBS) - Duration: 11:41.
Hello everyone!
Welcome to the final talk of motivation.
This is a key area, even if you have time and money to learn a language, your own...love,
interest about it has to be strong, too.
So, in the beginning your motivation would be really high, you'd be excited, you can't
wait to learn the next part to keep on going, and then after sometime...you know that suddenly
it's not so interesting any more, you feel that "Oh goodness, I want to, but not really",
it feels bothersome, maybe you feel lazy at times or even not sure why you're still doing
it.
I can share with you a personal story.
At a young age, I had to learn Cantonese (Chinese) but I lived in England, so it made it very
difficult for me to understand why.
Obviously my parents would say: "This is part of your heritage, your life, your past, you
should stay 'connected'".
That all sounds well and good, but being young, I couldn't really follow that closely.
First of all, Chinese is a hard language with so many strokes, thousands of characters,
it is highly confusing.
Also, the motivation wasn't there, I wasn't really interested in learning a language,
I couldn't see it helping me or pushing me in any way in life.
Now that I am older, really older, I can see that learning that language would have been
very much beneficial.
I can see that I should have tried harder, you know, push myself, have more motivation
and basically get stuck in (immerse myself).
I couldn't do this at a young age, I didn't know how or why but if there's something you
can relate to, something you can create an interest on concerning your language.
Not only will it make it easier, but also it helps you remember better.
So what you can do is create an interest, what kind of movies, drama, TV shows you find
interesting in the language.
So we're going to look at English...with movies I would recommend King's Speech, this is a
great movie about a king finding it difficult to speak publicly in front of his audience.
It's a heart-felt story and I'm sure you would enjoy it, too.
If that's not your thing, we also have many kind of genres, take for example: animation.
There's a movie called "How to train your dragon".
It's about a young boy called Hiccup and he discovers that dragons don't have to be your
enemies and it's a really interesting story, great voice actors and something you can enjoy
and learn at the same time.
Next, drama we have Sherlock Holmes, the BBC series.
It has a unique twist on the old story and its set in modern times and a lot of interesting
cases where he tries to find out the mystery with very unique mindsets.
Right, next...there is "The Middle", this is an American show, well...drama and it's
a comedy, it's really funny, it's about a family struggling with many different family
related problems.
I recommend this because it's something you can watch from episode to episode and it's
not too "tough" on the mind.
If movies and drama, they aren't your thing, you could look at TV shows, we have 'Kitchen
Nightmares' Gordon Ramsey, the famous chef. he's also known for the "f" word.
He goes to different restaurants across the UK, there's also the American version and
he looks at real restaurants, he investigates and finds out why they're so unsuccessful.
He gives them advice and there's quite some drama in it, but a good twist, you know if
you don't want to just watch stories, you could look at cooking shows.
If cooking shows are not your thing, we have talk shows: Ellen Show, she is in America,
she's real funny, she also does the voice of Doris in Finding Nemo.
She talks to a variety of guests, celebrities and it's quite relaxing and enjoyable to watch
as well.
Then you can look at music, do you have a favourite artist?
Maybe this artist will inspire you to learn their lyrics, you could sing along with it,
get better as well.
I'd recommend Ed Sheeran, he's very popular right now.
he's from the UK, I know, I'm sure everyone has heard of him as well.
But it wouldn't hurt to start from there.
Also, we have Phil Collins, he's a classic, he sings a lot of songs and you can check
him out as well.
We also have books, well with books we have Harry Potter, that is actually one of the
books that I started reading because of the storyline, I'm not really a 'book person'
to be honest, but after watching Harry Potter, the first movie: The Philosopher's Stone.
That really motivated me to actually read the books to see what happens next, so I'd
imagine that it'll be really useful for you and interesting to learn from that.
As they say "books are much better than the movies", unless it's an action movie and you
can't quite describe that.
There's also the games, did you know Telltale, this video game publisher/developer, they
have really REALLY interesting games with storylines and also they use other topics...should
I say topics...other popular shows or drama...for example, they made a video game based off
The Walking Dead, other Back to the future,in addition to Game of Thrones.
If you're into puzzles as well, they've also developed a game called Puzzle Agent, not
only do you get to play the game but there are puzzles for you to do and the instructions,
dialogues also the different areas of the game; all in English so it's a good way to
practise from there.
Finally, travel, if there's a country you're really interested in, maybe to visit or to
live or to work, even study there, why not find out more about their culture?
And when you find out more about it, you can look into the kinds of media they use, watch
their movies, their drama, what kind of TV shows do they watch?
How about music?
Right, some examples...a couple actually, here we go, we have: Australia, United States,
yes.
If your interest is strong enough, this will motivate you to keep going but finally there's
also the objective of learning for a purpose.
Your purpose could be to study in another country, that will motivate you enough to
put in the effort.
Also, work, if you want to work for an international business, or work overseas, learning a language
will very much help you on continuing with your learning journey.
One final thing I want to mention is...if you can, find a study partner, someone who
feels the same way as you.
This is a great way to keep each other going, you could create milestones (goals) with one
another, get targets, missions, objectives in how much you want to achieve.
This way you can support each other, watch each other and make sure to keep the motivation
strong.
So with a strong motivation, you can...as I said earlier learn it easier.
Memory better works when things you learn are things you are interested and enjoy very
much.
And also, this will keep your learning process continuous, it won't suddenly die out if there
were something to influence it.
You can keep motivation strong as long as you know why and what you love about it.

How to make a great head scan - Duration: 2:06.
To make a great head scan of a person first prepare your environment.
Make sure that the room has soft, even light and in the background there are no reflective surfaces,
strong light, or movements.
Ask the model to remove glasses, sit comfortably,
and be completely still during the entire scan.
Now stand in front of your model and frame her face and shoulders roughly within the silhouette.
Tap "Start" to initiate calibration and smoothly circle the model.
Simply follow and connect the dots on the screen that guide your movements
from left to right or up and down along the front and back of the head.
Try to move slowly and steadily while holding the camera with both hands.
It is important to keep an even distance to the person
and keep them in the viewfinder during the entire scan.
Calibration will be completed when you've done a full circle
by starting and ending the scan in front of the model.
Upon completion you will see the green mesh of the model's head being formed.
Now you're ready to refine the surface.
Add more details by moving the phone slowly and in large, sweeping movements around the face.
It's important to further scan the bigger gray areas on the mesh, but there's no need to sculpt the back of the head.
After a few seconds, when the mesh looks almost entirely green, press "Done".
At this point the texture is created and automatically applied to the final 3D model.
Here you will be able to preview the image and rotate it to view from different angles
and if pleased with the result save it to the gallery for later use.
