Youtube daily music Sep 24 2017

Hi YouTube! I'm going to be showing you how to make a music player button! Let's get right into it!

Now open up a baseplate or one of your world's you already made. It don't matter.

It's slow for me. Sorry.

Told ya.

Ok, it loaded up finally. Now let's get into it.

I get my self set up quickly.

Make sure to have Explorer and Properties open for this.

Now, insert a part.

Just like that.

Now copy exactly what I do from here.

I just put the surface input like that. Don't copy that.

And make sure to have toolbox open and go to audios.

Forgot to put the stop button color to red. My bad.

Insert a script inside of the "Play" Button.

Don't forget to insert a "Click Detector" Inside of the play button as well.

Very Important!

Now copy what I script.

Copy this.

Now to insert the function to make the Button actually work. Copy!

Exactly this.

There's the Play button script complete.

Make sure to have the sound that you picked out on looped!

Let's test it.

Works! :D

Now to script the Stop Button. Yes there's more.

Basically the same thing like the play button. The script is a bit different though.

Forgot to insert a click detector inside of the stop button.

Copy this main script I put. It hast to be out of the function. Like how I'm doing it.

Copy this.

Now to put the stop part in the script. Make sure to put it inside of the function.

Just like this.

Now the button's are completely done!

Don't forgot to anchor them or they will go flying around if you step on them.

Time to test them out.

We had done some experimental music

for Fats Hunter that owned the

Builder's Club in Atlanta.

He wanted to see how his new

recording instruments were happening.

So he asked us after we did the

show that night, would we stay over

and just put some things down on

tape so he could test it.

Well, as green as we were we said,

"Okay." So we did a few of the songs

we were doing in the show.

We didn't have a record out

at that time. But we were always,

always getting prepared for

whatever may happen in the future.

So he said at the end,

"We thought we were finished,"

and he says "You know, by the way,

do you guys have any original stuff

that you know or you wouldn't mind

doing?" And so we did have some

original things that we had been

working on with Sonny Woods,

who was a member of The Midnighters

singing group. And we said,

"Yeah we got a few things."

He said, "Well why don't you put

that down?" And so we did that and

before we knew anything,

and we went back to school before

graduation, our friends kept

telling us, "Oh, we love your

new song." I said,

"What new song?"

They said, "Your song's on the

radio."

I said, "Yeah, you guys are

lying now." So we happen to be

walking down Hunter Street at

the time and they used to have

these speakers outside of the

record companies so they could

lure you inside to buy something.

And I heard that, "In every..."

I said, "Wait a minute,

that sounds like me."

And that's who it was.

They were playing our records.

And the name of that song was

"Every Beat of My Heart."

They had, I'll just say it

like it is, stolen our music.

We found out later they had

released the record without

our permission.

And they had sold the master

by that time to VJ records.

That's how it started out

for us recording wise. And it

was like a rough road from that

beginning on as far as records

were concerned.

It was not a nice business.
