Jerry Seinfeld - An Evening at the Improv - Duration: 6:30.
- How are you?
- [Audience] Good.
- Wow, what a crowd.
A Night at the Improv, nice to see you all here
'cause it's beautiful this time of year
here in Los Angeles, isn't it?
Beautiful weather.
I love weather reports.
They always crack me up.
They always have some guy who comes out
with a suit on, shows you the highs, the lows.
Then they show you the fronts,
and my favorite part of any weather report,
the satellite photo.
This is real helpful. (audience laughs)
Photograph of the Earth from 10,000 miles away.
Can you tell if you should take a sweater or not
from that shot? (audience laughs)
I have no idea.
If I really need to know the weather, I watch Romper Room.
(audience laughs)
They lay it on the line.
If the little Willy guy on the wall gets a raincoat,
I know what's happening.
(audience laughs)
Los Angeles, a lot of driving goes on around here.
Do a lot of driving.
(audience member claps) It's terrible.
Thank you very much. (laughs)
It's terrible when your car breaks down.
That's the most frightening experience, isn't it?
Did you ever drive along and someone else is in the car?
It's terrible because if it breaks down,
you have to get out and pretend like
you know what you're doing.
You get out the car, walk around the front,
open up the hood.
Look in. (audience laughs)
What are you looking for?
(audience laughs)
What's ever wrong, you can't fix it.
You stand there hoping to find something
incredibly, obviously wrong.
Something so simple even you can handle it.
A giant on/off switch on off.
(audience laughs)
There's something I can fix.
All right, we're back in business.
Let's get out of here. (audience laughs)
Switch was off.
I didn't even see it. (makes engine noise)
You drive away, you feel great,
'cause people don't know anything about how a car works.
Did you ever watch people buy a car?
They judge the entire car by the steering wheel.
People, they walk in the showroom,
they open up the car door, they sit in the car,
they go, "This is a good car."
(audience laughs)
You feel that, you know?
Intersections are confusing because
each lane's got its own thing.
You know what I mean?
You pull up to that light.
It's no right turn, no U-turn, no left turn, left turn only.
You know, you're turning.
You've gotta be very careful.
(audience laughs)
My favorite sign, you ever pull up into the middle lane,
and you see "Left Turn OK."
(audience laughs)
Don't you like that one?
Little personal touch.
(audience laughs)
It's like they're saying to you, "Left turn, okay."
(audience laughs)
(laughs) We're not crazy about you making the left.
(audience laughs) It's okay.
Just make it.
Get it over with, pal.
(audience laughs)
I think people learn to drive on the bumper cars.
Do you remember that ride? The bumper cars?
Going around in a circle.
Always one guy on this ride that can't do it.
(audience laughs)
Always one guy, loser of the ride.
Soon as the ride gets started,
he gets stuck in the pack of empty cars.
(audience laughs)
He's got the attendant hanging off the back
helping him steer it.
(audience laughs)
But anyway, the world is an amazing place, isn't it?
I was reading in the Guinness Book of
World's Records yesterday.
This is a fantastic book.
Have you seen the Guinness Book?
The fattest man in the world in the Guinness Book,
Bob Hughes, fourteen hundred pounds.
Ladies and gentlemen, the man has let himself go.
(audience laughs)
(laughs) Fourteen hundred?
I mean, come on, Bob.
(audience laughs)
Get it together there, you know.
Actually, I used to feel bad even mentioning it on stage.
I mean, you could offend somebody in the audience,
but then I was thinking about it.
Let's face it.
You could be in the audience.
You could weigh 1,000 pounds
(audience laughs) and still go,
"He's not talking about me."
(audience laughs)
This is a man with a serious weight problem.
(audience laughs)
There's no reason why this guy can't get it together.
You know what I mean?
Go on diet, take off 200 pounds, or,
actually, 200 pounds wouldn't even make a dent.
Do you realize that?
If you were a friend of his, what would you say to him?
You know, you look great, Bob.
(audience laughs)
What are you down to, twelve hundred now?
(audience laughs)
You're a rail.
(audience laughs)
And what is he gonna say in response?
"And you know I feel terrific."
(audience laughs)
Look at these pants, huh.
(audience laughs)
Remember how tight they used to be?
Boy, I don't know, I was shopping the other day.
I went to the mall, and I went to the greeting card store.
I noticed an incredible thing in the greeting card stores.
Relationships are changing so much now
between men and women there's a whole section
of greeting cards with no printing on the inside.
Have you seen them?
There's no words, no message, nothing.
It's like Hallmark is saying, hey,
we don't know what to tell her.
(audience laughs)
You think of something, pal.
I don't wanna get involved.
(audience laughs)
The other thing I hate worse than this
are the greeting cards with the couples on the front.
Do you know these ones with the photographs?
Hazy focus, picnics, trees.
Who are these people?
(audience laughs)
Do you know these people?
I don't know these people.
I don't want them on my card.
What am I gonna write inside there anyway?
Here's another couple having a better relationship than us.
(audience laughs)
I went to the Post Office to get some stamps.
I'm waiting on line at the Post Office.
They have these posters on the wall at the Post Office.
You know these wanted posters that they have?
Killers, murderers, thieves.
Why the Post Office?
What do they want us to do about it? Write the guy?
(audience laughs)
Do people walk in, rip these off the wall,
yeah, give me a book of stamps and a search warrant.
I'm going after this guy.
(audience laughs)
I've had it up to here with his activities.
(audience laughs)
You know what my main question about
these posters on the walls are?
Why didn't they hold onto this guy
when they're taking his picture?
(audience laughs)
(audience applauds)
Thank you very much.
Goodnight.
(audience whistles)

Introducing Chick'n'Mango: an international digital marketing consultancy brand - Duration: 1:26.
- Make a difference guys! Welcome to Chick'n'Mango, an international digital marketing consultancy.
I'm Alberto Carniel, made in Italy in 1991, and I founded Chick'n'Mango in 2016
to help organizations find their core belief and inspire people to action.
Nowadays, the market is so saturated that companies even don't know why they exist anymore.
But brand identity is the most important asset that can make a difference for a business.
I was born in Padua, a north-eastern Italian city in Veneto.
Think that my people are older than the Romans.
Venetian knights fought shoulder to shoulder with Trojans against the Greeks.
Soccer was already played in Venice in the sixteenth century.
In 960, the Republic of Venice was the first state in the world to ban slave trade.
Venetians were explorers, warriors and merchants. The Republic of Venice lasted 1100 years!
Today, the new explorers are travelers, sport is the alter ego of war and marketers are the new merchants.
I founded Chick'n'Mango upon fitness, travel and marketing, because I believe these values make a difference in organizations.
They allowed my people to be different. To make a difference.
Now it's your turn. Unleash your energy and join the Chick'n'Mango adventure!

The Single Biggest Mistake I Made As An Investor - Duration: 5:52.
Hey, it's Joe.
I've got another question here.
"Joe, what's the single biggest mistake you made as a real estate investor?"
Well, I guess I'll put it out on the line.
I've talked about some of this stuff before, about my personal history and what went through
to learn this process.
The failures that I had.
Way back in 19 -- I started investing back in 1986.
And in that first few years, I built a business that was worth about $17M dollars and I built
it based on borrowing money, on new construction, I was working in California, I was working
up in the Hollywood Hills.
I was building all kinds of beautiful houses.
And everything was going really well.
And I thought that I'd tied into something.
I thought that I was, you know, kind of the Golden Child, that I really, you know, I was
really good at this.
But, since I was borrowing money, and I was also counting on appreciation of properties,
that was my big mistake.
What happened in 1990, 1991, the S&L crises happened and the market crashed.
And the values of the properties that I had, and I was really heavily leveraged out there,
the value of the properties that I had dropped by 30%, 40% in California.
And the banks came to me where I was getting my construction loans and they said you've
got to put this much money into these deals.
Otherwise, we're going to take these loans back.
But, I didn't have that money.
I was too heavily leveraged into those properties, and I wasn't going to get that money until
those properties were finished and sold.
But the bank wouldn't wait for me, because they were in trouble.
So, they took the properties back, I lost my entire business, I filed bankruptcy and
I was out of the deal.
I moved back to Indianapolis and moved in with my parents.
You know, I'm thirty-five years old, we'd just had our first baby, it was thirty days
old when my wife flew over from California back to move in with my folks.
And I was grateful to have folks who love me and would watch out for us.
But it was the most humiliating thing that every happened to me in my life.
And I don't wish it on anybody.
I know a lot of my students have sent me stories about their failures as well.
I think that every investor goes through failures in their life and especially when they think
that they're invincible -- which is where I was at at the beginning.
So I had to, I went back and I started to become a real estate agent.
And I learned how to sell properties.
And I became a top producing agent within a short, you know, within about a year.
I was doing a lot of business.
And I started making money again.
I started to, you know, rebuild my credit.
But I still didn't have enough money to invest and I didn't have any credit to invest and
I couldn't go get a loan again.
And I didn't want to get a loan anyway.
So, I figured out how to do this without cash.
And the way that I did it was I went to, I would go out to a listing appointment as a
real estate agent, and I would talk to some people that would have their property for
sale.
They wanted to sell it but they didn't, had very little equity because the values hadn't
gone up because of the crash that had happened.
And I wanted to sell their property and I wanted to make my commission it, but I, they
couldn't come to closing with money.
And the only way I could have sold it for them is if they came to closing with cash
when we finally sold it because they'd lose money.
So, what I thought was, well, why don't we try this as a lease option?
And so we did it as a lease option.
We sold their property and it gave them three years, and got them their full price, and
I took the lease option fee, and I made a profit.
And then we also tried taking over the deed.
What if you just deed me the property.
I'll make payments on it, I'll put a tenant in there, I'll protect your credit and I'll
make, you know, I'll make a profit over the long term.
And I started buying properties that way as well.
And then we started doing some land contract stuff.
And then I started learning how these zero down structures worked and which one made
me, which put me in the most control.
Because I always wanted to be in control of the deals.
I didn't want a bank to be in control.
I didn't want somebody to come and take that property away from me like happened to me
in California.
I didn't want to ever be in that situation again.
And, I didn't want to lose my money, and I couldn't, you know, use my credit.
Since, then, obviously my, well, not obviously, but my credit is improved dramatically.
I've got perfect credit now.
But, I don't use it very often.
Because I don't think that it's a good way to invest.
I think it's too risky.
Same with the cash.
When I have cash, I usually buy properties for all cash rather than put down payments
on them.
So, if I'm going to buy a property with any type of financing, it's going to be seller
financing.
That type of financing doesn't screw up your credit and you can scale it up.
You can do as many of them as you can find properties.
So the goal here is to find a lot of properties so that you can do this again and again on
a consistent basis.
So, my big admonition to everybody is, don't take out a loan.
And at the beginning, don't even use your own cash.
You know, they say you need money to make money, but I say if you can't make money with
no money, you probably can't make money with money.
So, learn how to do it with no money first.
Learn how to do it the bootstrap method, where you pull yourself up by your bootstraps using
your brain, using structures that I teach to go out there and put these deals together,
flip them, make some money, or keep them and put them in your portfolio.
All right.
Good luck to you.

Democrats Are Launching An All New Investigation To Take Down Trump - Duration: 11:28.
Democrats Are Launching An All-New Investigation To Take Down Trump
There's nothing the Democrats want to do more than take down President Trump.
He is everything they fear in a president and more.
And they just launched an all-new investigation to do just that.
One of the ways Democrats are trying to discredit Trump is by making his administration seem
scandal-ridden.
The best way to do that, in lieu of there being actual scandals, is to launch investigations
to make the public perceive his administration as being riddled with scandals.
That is what has been done so far in Trump's presidency.
The formation of Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation was a long time coming,
with tons of work coming from those on the anti-Trump left to create circumstantial evidence
necessary to launch the investigation.
It began with unsubstantiated rumors about Russia collusion supporting Trump being spread
around.
Then it was escalated from being just rumors when Hillary Clinton's campaign and the
Democratic National Committee (DNC) paid former British spy Christopher Steele to compile
the now-infamous dossier making unsubstantiated salacious claims against Trump.
Among those salacious claims were allegations that Trump campaign adviser Carter Page was
in contact with Russian officials.
That claim about Page, with no evidence, was enough for the FBI to obtain a FISA warrant
against the Trump campaign.
And finally, that FISA warrant was used as justification for Deputy Attorney General
Rod Rosenstein to form Robert Mueller's special counsel.
All of that started with one unsubstantiated rumor, followed by an unverified report the
Democrats paid for.
So when the Democrats launch a new investigation, it must be carefully watched, as shady strategies
to blow it out of proportion are almost certainly being worked on.
The latest plan to create a new scandal for Trump has to do with Air Force One.
Virtually every president since the creation of Air Force One has allowed family, friends,
and even political donors to tour the massive plane.
Historically, that has not been a problem.
But now that Donald Trump is doing it, Democrats have sent a letter to the United States Air
Force, as well as the Defense Department's inspector general asking if the practice violates
any ethical standards or other regulations.
The letter was signed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE), Sen. Richard Blumenthal
(D-CN) and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI).
This move is likely the most ridiculous and petty thing the Democrats have done to try
to attack Trump.
The stated reason that they are going after Trump, in this case, is due to his business
interests.
They feel, with no evidence, that Trump may be abusing his position as president for business
gain.
That is why they want a full list of those given access to Air Force One.
It doesn't matter to the Democrats that Trump does not, in fact, have any direct control
of his businesses since he took office.
He passed it off to his elder son in order to remove any perceived conflicts of interest,
and because he was going to be too busy to complete his duties anyway.
Regardless, the left is trying to create a new scandal by forcing him to pass off the
list of people admitted to Air Force One.
Why do you think the left is targeting Trump so hard?
Let us know your thoughts
in the comments
section below.

How to Plan and Execute a Political Campaign. Step 3 - Duration: 3:55.
In a recent video I mentioned there are four key pillars of a political campaign.
Your campaign message, how you execute it, your strategy and how you outsmart your opponent.
Today we'll discuss your strategy.
The way you are going to roll out your message.
Think of your strategy as a movie.
It has a beginning.
An end.
A story line.
A logical sequence.
Otherwise the movie makes no sense.
You may have a great bio, a compelling narrative, popular issue positions, values in perfect
sync with the voters, but if you don't reveal those to voters in a manner
they can easily comprehend, they'll never understand you or your message.
As you begin to plot your rollout...your strategy for what you are going to say,
how and when you are going to say it, look at all the advertising tools at your
disposal, select one that you will use as your primary tool, then use the others
to supplement and support it.
The best way to show you this is by example.
Example: Congressional Primary.
Urban Jurisdiction
In a recent primary in New York, an underfunded candidate challenged a 10 term member of Congress
in a democratic primary.
She looked at all of her options and decided that the only tools she could afford
to use were social media, a website, text messages and volunteer phone calls.
She produced a very compelling video that had all the elements of her message,
her biography, story, values, and issue positions.
She then used social media to share it and drive people to her website,
where many volunteered their email address and phone number.
They were then contacted by volunteers.
The strategy worked.
Her video was viewed two million times.
She won the election, despite being outspent 18-1.
Example: Race for Judge.
Suburban Jurisdiction
Two years ago in a race in a suburban district we concluded that cable
television viewership had become too fragmented to be of much value.
We instead used mail as our lead tool, a sequence of mail pieces sent to a broad
audience to reveal the candidate's biography, her story, her qualifications,
her work on behalf of children, the elderly and the poor.
We then used internet ads to supplement and highlight information contained in
the mail pieces to highly targeted niche audiences.
Volunteers were used to knock on doors and make phone calls in key geographic
areas.
She was the only candidate in a four way race who used this strategy.
She won a landslide victory.
Example: Race for Town Supervisor.
Rural Jurisdiction
In a recent campaign in a small, tight knit rural district, we used newspaper ads,
for it happened to be a community with a very well read local newspaper.
We used the ads to highlight the accomplishments of a long serving incumbent who faced a very
spirited challenge from a well financed opponent.
We supplemented the newspaper ads with persuasion mail to reach certain niche
audiences.
His volunteers knocked on doors and made phone calls.
He won a comfortable victory in an anti-incumbent year.
I am not sharing these examples to suggest they are just right for you.
I share them to illustrate a point.
There is no one size fits all campaign strategy that is right for every candidate
in everyjurisdiction.
Your strategy is unique to you, unique to your jurisdiction, your resources,
where and how voters get their information, the political environment,
the demographics of the voters you must have to win, the opponent you face.
Any professional help you hire should be factoring in all of these as they construct
your strategy.

Behind the Scenes: An Inside Look at Temple's New Library - Duration: 3:55.
For me, as someone who was,
you know, privileged to participate in the planning and design process,
seeing this realized is kind of like a dream coming to reality, right,
because when we started in 2013,
this was, you know, just a concept.
We are standing in front of the
new Temple University main library,
named for donor Steve Charles, the Charles Library,
which will be completed late spring, early summer of 2019,
and, at this point next year, we will be moving in to the building
and ready to operate there.
This is sort of the grand architectural statement of the building,
that, sort of, archway that, kind of calls you in.
It gives way to a big central atrium,
which is going to be clad in wood,
and it is really designed to
call your attention and invite you in to the space.
One aspect of the staircase
and, actually, the other staircases,
and the overlooking areas on the floor above is that,
they're not going to be closed in,
and you'll be able to, you know, sit at the second floor level
and the third floor level
and look down into this open space,
so it's a really transparent building
that will have, you know, that virtue of people
being able to feel like
they're connected to the activity around them.
Right, now I am standing at the threshold
of the automated storage and retrieval system, the ASRS,
a series of robotically controlled cranes
That are driven by a database
that will store about 90 percent of the physical materials
that will be in this building,
and the unique feature of this
approach to storage is that it
greatly compresses
the amount of floor space
that it requires to store books.
Right now, I'm standing above what will be the
24-hour study area of the building,
which will also connect to a cafe space.
The entrance into this will be at the
intersection of Liacouras and Pollett,
which is right behind me.
When the main library closes,
the 24-7 space will be available for study by students
any time of the day or night.
So, we're now standing on the third floor of the building.
This is another space where you can look over
into the dome in the main lobby area.
It's going to be in, in many ways, the most innovative
space in the building. It's what we're calling the "Scholar's Studio."
This space will have an innovation facility
that our naming donor Steve Charles is very interested in because it brings together
students and faculty from across the schools and colleges
to work collaboratively.
So, this is the fourth floor of the building
and the most distinguishing feature of this floor
is actually one of the signature elements of the building
which is that it's entirely clad in glass
and it will let light come in,
and, actually, the light will spill through
the opening of the oculus
which is just to my north.
This will be the floor where we have
traditional book stacks for people to browse
and also it will open out
onto a large public terrace that
ovelooks main campus and the Bell Tower.
With every day that goes by with construction,
You get a deeper and deeper sense of that concept
turning into a real physical facility
that will be used by our students
kind of every day on campus.
One of its goals is to inspire a sense of connection
with both the education mission of this institution
and the value that we place
as an institution on the quality
of the learning environment
our students experience.

making cookies in an idiotic fashion - Duration: 4:42.
Hello and welcome to cooking with Miranda on a Friday afternoon with her cat!
My cat is not in the picture because he's on the ground right there,
meowing like a fool!
So I am making...
vegan chocolate chip cookies.
So what I'm doing right now is I am gradually adding the flour, baking soda, and salt mixture...
like...
so.
Just like that.
Gradually. Quite grad-gradually, and then I-
- and then we mix.
Like so.
If you do it gradually it prevents the poof poof of flour
because if you add it all in at once it's just gonna make a cloud
and your black clothes you're gonna turn white and it's
just, it's gonna be a mess. So gradually is our friend.
Here's my cat.
(LOUD MIXING NOISES)
It is always handy to have a fork on the side
because you wanna be able to scrape down the sides.
To get it all into one homo-genius... homogeneous! (laughs) mixture.
Now that we have our flour mi-
our dry ingredients mixed with our wet ingredients, next we're gonna add in...
That's right! The chocolate chips and the oats because that, yeah.
What time is it? 2:15?
Why is that girl walking home from school?
It's not time for school to end. Right?
OH, so...
One and a half cups of chocolate chips, and two cups of oats.
Now you might be thinking: "Oats? Why are we gettin' so crazy?"
Well, the oats add a certain texture
that is um, delicious and
different and
yummy, yummy!
I'm gonna go recycle this!
AAAAAH!
Ugh everything's going crazy
Okay, sorry about that!
Uh... (phone rings)
I had some trouble with the uh... door.
Our mixture... looks like...
this right now. As you can see we need to UM
you know, mix it, so I'm gonna do that!
I'M NOT DOING VERY WELL.
So now it is
delicious... looking,
and this mixer is now covered in cookie dough
which you can eat because there's no eggs in it.
The good thing about it is that you won't get salmonella and die.
So if you want to eat the cookie dough, you can!
Like you could literally eat all of this with a spoon.
I would encourage you not to do that.
So now we're going to put the balls in the trays and...
Bake bake for 10 to 11 minutes at 375 degrees.
I know I didn't film myself making the wet ingredients...
but...!
I don't know why I didn't.
Now I know what you're thinking:
"EW!"
but
Don't worry. I washed my hands thoroughly,
and sang the alphabet eight times.
I already explained how to do this. Okay,
uhhhh
Enjoy!
Don't forget to do this!
This is important!
WOO!
Remember that when you bake them, if
one's on the top shelf and one's on the bottom shelf, halfway through the baking time
you want to switch them so they both get equal bake-age.
(Song "Lover" playing)
Mr. Schneebly lyin' on me,
Mr. Schneebly!
Lyin' on me.
Mr. Schneeeeb-Oh.
(Song): Wait a minute, wait a minute!
Hello, yes. I've changed my shirt because I was sweating,
and
I'm in California and it's not like it's cold here! It's summer, so...
But here are the cookies. They look beautiful!
(Song "Bring on the Dancing Horses" playing in background)
Yes, they are beautiful and...
yeah.
let's eat them.
(Wii Music playing)

business. You just need to change the products and visuals.
The best part is that you don't need to pay a designer or a developer.
Everything you see is made using only free resources and you can find the download links
in the description box.
Before we start, let's go over everything that you can expect in this tutorial. Remember
that you can jump right to your preferred section of this video using the timestamp
in the description box.
We will start by choosing a catchy domain name.
Then we will set up WordPress and WooCommerce and in the end, you will see how to customize
the design of the shop.
Here are some more highlights:
You will learn how to manage your inventory and how to set up different payment methods...
how to add variations to products like different colors and sizes.
and how to create the About Us page, the Contact page, the menu and each section on
the front page?
If you like the awesome visuals I use, like these banners, I will show you how to add
them. More of that, I will show you how to create this section which contains a youtube
video you can use to show real people using your product.
This is a tutorial I have been working for some time and is going to be longer than usual.
Let me know in the comment do you like short videos or longer in-depth video-tutorials?
Ready? Let's get started!
Your domain name is how your customers find your website.
If they hear about you somewhere, will it be easy for them to remember your name?
Even if you already have a name or you are looking to generate an original one, you still
need it to be available. So try using a tool like DomainWheel.
The combinatorial algorithms will present interesting new options to choose from, while
the domain availability checks up will suggest available extensions.
I will try a phrase, something like "online clothing shelf". Let's see if there is something
available... Fortunately, it is so I will buy the onlineclothingshelf.com
domain right now.
Now that you have a domain name idea let's go buy the domain name and hosting. If you
already have a hosting service, like I do, you can buy the domain name only.
If not, you can select a host for your site that offers a package designed for WordPress:
domain name + hosting. I encourage you to check the article on our
blog to read about some of the best hosting providers for WordPress. Link in the description.
The most important part in choosing a hosting provider is that you need an SSL certificate.
Without one, you cannot set up the payment methods. Usually, you can get an SSL certificate
for free, and you can check the video on the card on this topic.
This is why I suggest Siteground.com, but you are free to use any hosting company you
want, just make sure it is optimized for WordPress.
By using SiteGround as your hosting provider, or any other service that uses Let's Encrypt,
a free security software in the cPanel, you can install a free SSL certificate in just
a few clicks...
Once you get the domain name + hosting and a free SSL certificate, let's go to the next
step which will be to set up WordPress.
Most of the popular hosting companies have an easy flow to install WordPress.
To do that, go to your cPanel and search for the quick installer of WordPress. You can
find it easily because it is one of the auto installers every cPanel comes with by default.
Once you click on it you will be redirected to the installer page where you should click
on the "Install" tab.
Choose the protocol as HTTPS from the dropdown menu and then choose the domain you want WordPress
to be installed on.
Leave the In Directory field blank unless you want WordPress to be installed on a subdomain,
something that will look like onlineclothingshelf.com/blog.
Further down you need to choose a name for your online store and a description. Don't
worry if you have no idea of what to type in here for now because you can change that
later on.
Now, fill out these fields with your account details like the username and the password.
Make sure you use uppercase letters, numbers and special character to make it as secure
as possible. The email you type in here should be the email you are using to manage the website.
Further down, choose the language of your online store in this drop-down if needed or
leave it as it is by default - English. If you want to change that language, you can
do that later on your dashboard.
Finally, check if you want to use Limit Login Attempts, which I recommend you to do, and
Contact Form by WP Forms Lite. If you check both boxes then the auto installer will install
those plugins on your dashboard.
Further down, setting a custom name for your database with a maximum of 7 characters and
then a custom table prefix it's strongly recommended.
Finally, leave the backup location as it is by default and then click on Install.
Wait until WordPress will finish its installation. It will take just a few seconds. Once the
installation process occurs, click on this link if you want to go to your dashboard or
this link if you want to see your live site.
For now, it looks like any other installation of WordPress on a new website, but in the
next minutes, you will see how to transform this into an awesome online store.
Your theme decides the entire layout and feel of your site.
Finding a great theme that invites browsers to become buyers is worth taking a little
extra time.
ShopIsle is a powerful WordPress theme because it is clean and clearly features products
in a way that scores engagement. A grid of large pictures, with core information
below, encourages customers to quickly browse and click on what interests them.
Installing this theme on your WordPress website it's easy.
On the dashboard, click Themes in the Appearance menu, then click on Add New and search for
the ShopIsle WordPress Theme. Install and activate it then move to the next
step.
There are some extra features you can get to make your website really awesome.
You will need to install OrbitFox.
A modular, multipurpose plugin that will help to detect breaking changes in theme updates
before you run them.
Being an online store, you will use a lot of images, so an Image Optimization and CDN
service are helpful. Orbit Fox comes with an integrated free CDN. It also automatically
optimizes the images on your website, serving them under a browser-friendly format!
Also, if you are worried your website will go down, try the Uptime Monitor to get notified
via email. As soon as you enter your email and hit save, your site will be registered
to our uptime monitor and we'll constantly check if it's working.
I will show you other useful features this plugin comes with, in a minute, so keep watching.
Installing the WooCommerce plugin will transform your WordPress website into an online store.
Once you activate it, I recommend you run the setup wizard until you'll get to the point
where you can publish your first product.
First, choose the country where our store is based, US in this case.
The address, clothing street 44, New York City and so on...
If the currency you accept payments in is the US dollar, leave it as it is, or choose
other currencies in the drop-down.
I plan to sell physical products, clothing items right?
So, I will choose the second option in this drop-down and then I will click Let's go!
Here comes the tricky part of the payment integration.
I want you to understand that if you choose to accept debit and credit card payments with
Stripe, all the payments will be processed on your website compared with PayPal where
all the payments will be processed on their own server.
If you have doubts about how safe is your website you should definitely go with PayPal
and deactivate Stripe. Stripe, on the other hand, offers a much faster
checkout process. Your choice!
PayPal payments without linking your account will work only if you check this box and then
you'll type your PayPal email in this field.
Furthermore, if you want to accept Check Payments, Bank Transfer and Cash On Delivery, you can
activate any of these options here.
Ready to go to the next step? Click on "Continue".
You're all set up to ship anywhere in the United States, and outside of it. WooCommerce
recommends using the Live Rates so we leave those options as they are in the drop-down
menus and we are going to set the weight and dimensions of the unit...
Once the shipping settings are done, click on Continue.
I like to have the Automated Taxes calculation on so I will leave this checked and then I
click on continue one more time.
A variable product can be a t-shirt, for example, which has different sizes and colors, and
if you want to set different images and even different prices for each variant, keep watching
cause I'll show how to publish your first product step by step.
As you may notice at the beginning of this video, the demo of the final website shows
a Tshirt, a Hat, a pair of sports Shoes and Leggings in the "Latest Products" section.
To create the first product, Click on the Add New link in the Products menu or +New
Product in the drop-down menu of your admin bar.
First of all, we need to add a name to our product.
I think the "Premium Yoga T-shirt" will be perfect.
When adding products to WooCommerce for the first time, you will see that the plugin comes
with clear instructions to make sure you understand every step, so you can follow the steps by
clicking next.
The text in the editor should be an in-depth description of your product, that needs to
contain, as much as possible, details like gender, style, material, season and so on.
For example, you can say "This Yoga T-shirt is as close to perfect as can be. It's optimized
for all types of print and will quickly become your favorite T-shirt."
After that, you can say that the gender is "for women", the occasion is for Yoga, the
material is synthetic and the season is summer. These are just examples but you can write
in here whatever you consider useful. For example, you can show the available sizes,
the weight, and package contents if needed and then you can close de description of your
product with a strong phrase, something like. "Soft, comfortable and durable, this is a
definite must-own product."
Next, you need to set the product type in the product data drop-down. If your product
will have different variables like colors and sizes, as I mentioned earlier, you should
choose the Variable Product type.
Before clicking next, we need to add some variations but the first step actually is
to add the attributes that variations will use.
To do that, click on the Attributes tab then click to add a custom product attribute. Name
your first attribute, "Size" in our case, check both boxes below the name and then add
the values like so, M | L | XL
Type this "|" vertical bar between those values and then click on "Save Attributes". You can
find that vertical bar on the right side of your keyboard for both Mac or Windows PC.
Next, we will add another custom product attribute which will be the "Color" selector.
The values I choose are white | blue | red but you can add as many colors as your product
has. Just remember to insert the vertical bar between them, like so...
Click on save Attributes then go to the Variations tab.
If you want to control the price and images of your variable products individually, choose
"create variations from all attributes" in the drop-down then click Go.
Click OK on the notification and wait until the process is done.
Now you can see 9 different combinations of your product, which you can use to set a different
image and price for each.
I will set the same price for each variation but if you have a different price for the
blue t-shirt, for example, you can define that here...
Remember that variations with this field empty will be considered as an unavailable product
- out of stock for example.
Now you can continue adding different images for each color variations.
A white t-shirt here... a blue t-shirt here...
and a red t-shirt here...
You will understand why we are doing this when I will preview the first product, so
stay with me because it gets more and more interesting.
Once variations are added, make sure you write a short description of your product below.
You can copy the first two sentences from the text editor above, it's absolutely fine,
then you need to add images into the Product Image and Product Gallery sections.
To do that, click on "set product image" here and upload the image you want to see first
on the product page. I will choose the red t-shirt, for example.
Click on "set product image" on the right side of your screen and then add more images
to your Product Gallery, including the red t-shirt.
Once you finish adding images to your product, go ahead and set the product category and
tags...
If you have a huge inventory you may want to manage the number of products. To do that,
click on this tab and use stock-keeping units then enable the stock management. Here, you
can set the stock quantity and then choose if you are willing to allow backorders for
the "out of stock" products.
Once you finish the settings you can publish your first product.
Let's check our work so far...
This is how your first product will look like after adding all the elements mentioned before.
Images, gallery, description and here is how the product variations work. If you choose
the blue color, for example, you can see that the image will jump automatically to the blue
t-shirt.
Now you can add as many products as you want following the same instructions. After you
finish adding those products you can go to the next step.
Like many online stores, you are able to set up cross-sell, up-sell, promotions, and product
reviews.
I have created four different products already and now I will show you how to link those
products so you can make upsells and cross-sells.
Click on "Linked Products" here and then type in "cap" or the first three characters of
your product name. The product you set here will be the "you may also like" product on
that product page.
Furthermore, if you want to make some cross-sales too, I mean to sell even more products on
check-out, set the product you want to sell here then hit the update button.
Now, if you want to give away coupons with $10 discount, for example, head to the "Coupons"
section on your WooCommerce menu. Click on "add new coupon" and first of all insert the
coupon code: 10$OFF. Write a description in the text box below if you want it, and the
go to the coupon data management. Choose the "fixed cart discount" if you want that coupon
to be used at checkout, for example, or "fixed product discount" if you want to give away
fixed product discounts. You can choose "percentage discount" too but in this case, the coupon
code should be something like 10%OFF instead of 10$OFF. The coupon amount will be 10 in
both cases but works differently so I recommend you choose wisely.
Once you have added all the details to your coupon, click on "Publis".
Let's see how it works. I go to the shop page and I add some products
to the cart exactly as your clients will do. A blue cap, ok? a blue L size t-shirt
and a pair of blue sports shoe, size 38. Then I will go to the cart page and I will
use the 10$OFF coupon code here. Once you click "Apply Coupon" you can see that the
total amount of the order is minus $10.
Let's see how to make this theme look like the online store presented at the beginning
of this video.
Even without paid products, you can implement the best elements of e-commerce design on
all of your most important pages.
This theme has a lot of options you can change through its customizer which you can access
by clicking here.
Let's start with the first section - the "Site Identity".
This is where you can change the site title and subtitle displayed here. I don't have
a logo for this project yet, so I will change only the Site Title with Online Clothing Shelf
and the Tagline with "how to start an online store on WordPress step by step".
You can type a slogan here, something like "dressing with personality" or any other combination
of words that can better describe your products in a short sentence.
Publish the changes on finish then move to the next step.
I think this is the fastest section of the customizer we will walk through. Two option
here to change the Header Text Color and the Background Color. If you want more color schemes
I recommend you check out the PRO version.
The header image is what you see in the header area of your pages by default and if you want
to change that, just click on Add New Image here.
Upload your own image or choose one from the Media Library.
Select and then crop the image and that's it.
If you want to use more images randomly, upload them one by one
then click on "randomize uploaded headers" here.
Now you can see that if you toggle through different pages, the images are used randomly
so you won't have the same image on every single page.
Nice trick! Let's save the changes and move to the next element.
Before customizing the Frontpage Sections, we need to go to the Homepage Settings to
choose a static page as a Homepage and the Blog page.
If we don't have them already we can create pages fast like so...
Click on Add New Page link here, name the page as Home then click on Add. Same with
the Blog page.
Now, publish the changes and then go back to your Frontpage Sections.
Once you set a static page as your homepage, you'll see the default content every section
comes with. the Slider Section, the Banners Section, the Products Section and the Products
Slider Section.
I will walk you through how to customize them step by step so stay with me.
In the Slider section, we have three slides by default. You can delete a slide or add
more slides as well, like so... In order to be fully populated with content, a slide should
get an image, a title, subtitle, button link and button label.
Adding images smaller than 2000 px here will generate blurry results so I recommend you
upload good quality images. For example, all the images I use here have full HD resolution
and are looking great.
After changing the images and other options in the slides as you want, publish the changes
and go back to the Frontpage Sections.
The banner section is where you can upload images with coupons or special discounts and
you can feature here a new collection as well. Just upload the image, set a link to that
offer or collection, if needed, then publish the changes.
These sections are populated with products automatically but if you want to change the
category, for example, go to the customizer, front page sections and change the products
category in the drop down. If you have a few products, leave this as it is by default so
visitors can see all your products in these sections.
This is a very important section which you can use to display a video with clients using
your products, for example. It will have a huge impact on your visitors for sure. What
you need to do is to set a title here, insert a youtube link in the field like so and set
a video thumbnail if you want it. Then you can publish the changes and your video section
is done.
The footer area, like the header, is what your visitors will see in the bottom area
of your website on any page or post they access. Here we have four areas which you can use
to add any available widgets into.
Adding these widgets is easy and there are two ways of adding them.
One is to access the widgets area in the customizer and the second is to go to the widgets link
in the Appearance menu on your dashboard. The advantage of creating them here is that
you can drag the elements from footer area 1 to footer area 2 like so.
I will add two images, first. One image in footer area 1 and another one
in the footer area two. Drag the image widget in the footer area 1
and then upload the image you want to use. Save the changes and the do the same with
footer area 2. Image, upload and save, ok?
Then add a product category widget named Category 1 in the footer area 3 and another Product
Category widget named category 2 in the footer area 4. That's it. If you take a look at the
footer area right now you can see that everything is exactly where it should be.
This is a simple notification bar which will help you inform users about your website policy.
To enable it, head to the Orbit Fox plugin and activate the Policy Notice module. If
you don't have a Privacy Policy page yet, WordPress helps you create on fast. Go to
Privacy in the Settings menu on your dashboard and click "create new page". Change the default
text in the page with the details of your choice and then click on publish. After that,
you can select that page to be the Policy Page in this drop-down menu. Customize the
Policy Description and the Policy Button label if you want it and then click on Save on the
right side of your screen.
The About Us page is something your visitors can check if they want to know more about
your business. The Shopisle theme comes with custom templates you can use for that and
here is what you need to do. Click on New/Page here and name your page About Us.
Choose the About Us Template in the drop-down menu of your page attributes and then publish
the page. Click to view that page and then on customize on the top bar to open the customizer
of that page. Now you can change the details in the "our team" section, the "video" section
and the "our advantages" too.
Create one more page named "Contact" and choose the contact template in the drop-down here.
Publish the page and then go to the customizer and insert a contact form shortcode here,
and a map shortcode here.
To do that, install the WPForms Lite plugin, activate it then create a contact form like
so. Enter your form name in this field, select a Simple Contact Form here, and then click
Save. After that, click the Embed button, copy the shortcode and paste it in the contact
form shortcode field like so. Next, install and activate the Intergeo Maps
plugin. Create a new map and drag the location to
New York, or choose the location of your business and then click on Create The Map.
Copy its shortcode which you need to paste into the map shortcode field, like so. That's
it. The contact page is ready so click publish then move to the next step.
You may see a default menu on your homepage right now, but if you want to create a custom
menu instead, check out the recommended video on the card, or in the description box below.
Creating the Main Menu its easy, using your pages as elements and if you want to add intuitive
icons too, make sure you activate the Menu Icons module in the Orbit Fox Companion interface.
After that, your menu will look awesome with these intuitive icons near the name of each
element...
Ley's go back to the customizer and see what you can do in the WooCommerce section.
We have four sections here which allows us to customize some things. The Store Notice,
first. You can use this notice to warn your visitors
about the fact that this is just a demo store and no orders shall be fulfilled.
The Product Catalog is what the shop page and category will use and the default product
sorting uses different sorting options you can choose in the drop-down.
Cropping the product images into a square can be a good way to have a perfect alignment
on the shop page but if you want to have them cropped into a custom size, you can choose
the aspect ratio here.
Furthermore, you may want to hide some of the checkout form fields like the company
name, address line 2, and if you want to highlight the required fields make sure this box is
checked.
In the end, select two of the most important pages any e-commerce business should have,
the Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions pages. Click on "publish" to save your changes
and that's it.
Your online store is done.
Now you can start promoting your WordPress online store and send motivated customers,
ready to make a buying decision. Make sure you activate the Social Sharing
module in the Orbit Fox panel so your visitors can share your products on different Social
Media channels.
On the screen, you are going to see some other recommended videos so watch them next to grow
your store.
Hopefully, this tutorial was helpful. If it was, give it a thumbs up.

How To Use Android Auto with a 2018 Chevy Traverse | Tinney Automotive - Duration: 3:28.
Hi guys, I'm Julie, and today we're going to talk about how-to connect your Android
phone to the Chevy Traverse.
Android Auto is a simple way to use your Android phone while in your vehicle.
The all-new 2018 and 2019 Chevy Traverse is equipped with Chevy's MyLink system which
supports Android Auto.
To start, you'll first need to download the Android Auto app from the Google Play Store.
Next, connect your Android compatible phone to the MyLink system using the cable that
came with your phone.
Once you've connected the phone you'll notice the Android Auto icon will appear on the MyLink
8" color touchscreen.
Now, simply select the icon to use Android Auto.
Let's get equated with the icons.
First, directions or location using Google Maps.
Handsfree calling.
Return to Home button.
Music or podcasts and audiobooks.
Return to Chevy MyLink.
And back to Android Auto.
In the upper righthand corner of the screen, you'll notice your phone strength signal,
battery life, and right next to the clock we have a microphone which communicates with
Google Now.
Hey Google, what's the weather today?
Today in Ureka Township it'll be cloudy with a forecast of a high of 35 and a low of 26.
Let's start with how to use Google Maps.
Let's start with the menu bar located in the upper left-hand corner.
Any searches you may have done on your Android phone are stored in Recent Places.
Categories will take you to some fun cool places, some great restaurants, I love a good
coffee shop.
And of course, if you want to turn on traffic notifications, you've got that right here.
Tapping on the search bar will bring up the keyboard and you can search for any location
your looking for and hopefully, it's not too far.
To talk to Google, select the microphone.
But only if do that if you're parked.
We always recommend that you use your voice activation button on the steering wheel.
To use, simply press and hold, and ask your question.
Where's the nearest Subway?
Showing results for where's the nearest Subway.
Here, we have the phone icon.
With this, you can listen to your voicemail, dial a number, review any call history, and
check missed calls.
Pretty simple.
And now for my favorite, to listen to some jam's, audiobooks, podcasts, it's all right
here.
Hit the headphone icon and you can take it away.
Receiving a text is very easy and it does not interfere with your driving.
Ken Yonker's iPhone says did you get the tickets to the Golden State Warriors?
Do you want to reply?
Later.
Okay.
If you're driving and can text another time just let them know you're driving.
Receiving a phone call is very similar.
Simply select the icon.
And handsfree calling can begin.
Another great safety feature is the handsfree calling icon on your steering wheel.
Just press and hold.
Call Ken's iPhone.
Calling Ken Yonkers iPhone, mobile.

My friend 'Mou' is an inspiration to all young managers in football, says Mauricio Pochettino - Duration: 8:43.
My friend 'Mou' is an inspiration to all young managers in football, says Mauricio Pochettino
A bottle of wine and two Real Madrid shirts in a plastic bag was all it took to convince Mauricio Pochettino of Jose Mourinho's real character, away from the pantomime villain often portrayed.
Pochettino, a novice coach in charge of Espanyol at the time, lost to Mourinho's Real but the Portuguese had asked around for his opposite number's favourite poison.
He brought him a bottle of red from the renowned Chateau Cos d'Estournel in Bordeaux, along with two signed shirts for Pochettino's sons.
It was instant friendship.
Time permitting, the pair will share another post-match tipple on Monday night, just at a time when Mourinho could use all the friends he can find at Old Trafford.
Pochettino has seen the stories coming out of Manchester United in recent weeks, from Mourinho's problems with Ed Woodward, to Paul Pogba to Pep Guardiola to the press.
Yet his opinion has not changed.
The Tottenham manager believes Mourinho is and always will be the right man for any big job, because he inspired each and every young coach in football.
'For every single manager who is younger than him, he was an inspiration,' Pochettino said.
'For everyone. Of course.
I took a lot of things from him.
So many things.
He is an unbelievable manager.
'I am younger than him, of course.
The circumstances that happen with me, that happen with other managers, they will happen, it is up and down.
'He is an inspirational manager for a manager like me.
I have a very good relationship with "Mou" from when I was a manager of Espanyol and I have full respect for him and the club.' .
On paper, it is not a friendship you might have expected.
Pochettino, after all, favours an exciting, entertaining style of play and has few enemies in football.
Mourinho is more cautious, and can start an argument in an empty room.
The Argentine has sympathy for his counterpart, however, explaining that all coaches feel 'exposed' because their decisions are dissected on a daily basis, not least by their own fans.
'When you lose, you feel the responsibility,' Pochettino said.
'I am the manager.
I assume responsibility.
Always my thoughts are, "You can do better".
Never is it enough.
'Even when you win, you can do better.
That is the mentality.
To win, it is every day, it is here on the training ground in every single situation.'.
Old Trafford is the only ground where Pochettino has yet to pick up a point — or even score a goal — with Tottenham.
In four visits there they have left empty-handed.
On Monday they travel to the Theatre of Dreams with Toby Alderweireld in their squad, though the centre back could easily have been wearing red rather than white.
Mourinho's priority in the summer window was to sign a central defender and Alderweireld topped the list, but chief executive Woodward and United's board did not deliver.
The Belgian was known to be interested in the move to Manchester, although Pochettino insists all is forgiven and forgotten.
New season, new start.
'First of all I tell them and then I tell you,' Pochettino said after being asked about Alderweireld.
'For me, all the players who are here start from zero.
It is so important to give opportunities, not because of last season or two seasons ago.
It is a new chapter.
'When I signed my new contract here, it was like I'd arrived on the first day.
No prejudgment. You start from zero.'.
Woodward may not have delivered his manager's top targets but he did bring in a few bodies.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy brought none, and Pochettino fears he is in for a challenging season.
'It is so difficult here in England,' the Tottenham manager conceded.
'Four competitions.
Of course it is a massive challenge.
'We have been talking a lot, all the staff, the coaching staff, the medical staff, to try to make the best decisions.
Now, more than ever, we need to be clever.'.
In 15 meetings, Mourinho has beaten Pochettino 11 times, lost three times and drawn once.
They first met in 2010 at the Bernabeu, when Mourinho masterminded a 3-0 win for a Real side full of world-beaters over Pochettino's Espanyol battlers.
On Monday, they meet more as equals, pressing pause on their friendship in pursuit of three points.

earthquakes happen in Alaska all the time there's even a website when you can
go online and check the earthquakes in Alaska today it'll show you the location
and the strength or the magnitude of earthquakes so that you know what was that one that I
just felt today so we get them frequently so it's part of living here
earthquakes may not be a common occurrence where you are but they can
happen almost anywhere when you least expect it that's the thing about an
earthquake there isn't any warning they just all of a sudden everything starts
shaking which is one reason that you need to be earthquake ready you need to
have an emergency kit and an emergency plan but then if an earthquake does
happen we know to Duck and Cover and hang on and wait till it stops but now
that it's over what do you do what are the procedures and steps that you do
after an earthquake well first of all you want to wait till it stops shaking
and then you need to expect that there will be aftershocks big earthquakes just
come with more little tremors check for injuries if anyone is injured you need
to make sure that you have your first aid kit be sure that you've studied a
little bit of first aid and you know how to give first aid if you need to now
there's probably going to be some damage so remember you were supposed to have
sturdy shoes and gloves now's when you put them on you don't want to be hurt by
the debris and broken glass and let me tell you in a big earthquake broken
glass can be everywhere and you don't want to be cut walking around in your
bare feet or just in your flip-flops so make sure you have sturdy shoes
available so that you can move around without cutting your feet now you want
to check for structural damage bricks are just something that each one tends
to shake on its own so brick buildings brick chimneys those all tend to
apart like a Jenga game they're all gonna be wiggled around they seem like
they're sturdy when they're all built up but in an earthquake
everything gets loosened up and they can continue to fall when you least expect
it so be very careful around brick structures and chimneys and make sure
that they're not going to continue to fall on you
check your utility lines check your water your gas and your electric to make
sure there's no down or broken lines if you have natural gas make sure you have
one of the wrenches that turns off your gas and make sure you know where those
utilities are located and how to turn them off if you needed to you need to
make sure that you stay away from any downed power lines along with your gas
line utility wrench make sure you always have an up-to-date working fire
extinguisher one of the dangers after an earthquake is fire know how to shut off
the gas be able to extinguish a flame and you may not have the water available
if something has happened to the water lines an after effect of earthquakes
might be tsunamis if you live near the coastline stay away from the beach the
water can go way down and when you least expect it it can come rushing back up
much higher than it was ever before so tsunamis can be a real danger if you're
near the shore don't go near the beach also after an earthquake it's not a time
to go get in your car and drive around and see what's going on roads aren't
passable emergency vehicles are trying to get through it's not the time to be
joyriding and seeing what's going on you need to stay close to your location
shore up your house secure it if it's still safe and if it's not figure out a
place where you can be safe near to where you live that's why you want to
make sure you always have your emergency gear ready have your bug out bag so that
if you really need to evacuate an earthquake might be a time when you need
to grab and go that's why you also need a back-up plan
if something happens that your car is in the garage and your house is damaged you
may not be able to get your car out of your garage have a way a secondary
transportation and somewhere that you know you could go closeby have the
things that you need be able to shelter in place until help and more services
can come and help you keep your car full of gas keep your cell phone charged up
keep cash on hand those are extremely handy items to have in any kind of an
emergency then make sure that you have stockpiled the normal emergency things
such as food water communications first-aid hygiene supplies and tools
have a plan where to meet where to go next who to contact and a way to get
together and contact each other so that you can make a plan together of what to
do next what's going to help you most after an earthquake or any emergency
situation the planning that you made ahead you know where your supplies are
you know how to use them you know when you would evacuate where you would go
and how you would keep in contact with those you love then you'll be able to
stay calm or as calm as possible and figure out what to do next
planning for emergencies before they occur gives you a lot of peace of mind
no matter what comes your way
