Youtube daily how Feb 17 2019

Hey, my happy shiny puppies, this is Melody Fletcher, your go-to for everything Law of

Attraction and Reality Creation.

And today, I've got a treat for you!

What follows is an excerpt from one of our live Q&A calls, where people just like you,

students just like you, were able to ask me questions, and I answered them.

And today, you're going to get one of those.

And, as you see, in the coming weeks, we're going to be rolling out more and more of these.

And, if you'd like the chance to be a part of one of these Q&A calls, for free, then

stay until the end of the video, and I'm going to tell you exactly how to do that.

Alright, I'll see you on the other side!

Bye.

"So the big question is this: How do we, those of us who feel deep-down that we're much more

powerful than we've been led to believe, and that there is something to this Law of Attraction

stuff, actually create our own realities?

What's the process of simply stepping into the reality of our choice?

What about those of us who need this process to make logical, intellectual sense?

My Name is Melody Fletcher; you've got questions about the technology of reality, and I've

got the answers.

Welcome to my channel, where the Law of Attraction finally makes some freakin' sense."

Hello Melody; how're you doing?

I'm good; how are you?

I'm good, thank you.

I'm just curious about something.

It's about activating the feeling of what we want, only when we have one, sort of, technique

that I seem to, kind of, lean on when I really want to do that, when I want to, consciously

get a really good manifestation going.

And that is just sitting, visualizing, and trying to get that really good feeling going;

imagining it all in the hologram.

And, I know it's working when I get, like, a silly, little smile on my face, and everything

feels really good.

And then, I just try to sit with that for as long as I can.

Hmmm!

But something that I've noticed has popped up in various LOA teachings, here and there,

is this whole idea of the duration that you should do that for.

And, there's this thing about 17 seconds.

And, I've just always been curious about it.

Like, I'm not that bothered by it - but I just; it's always sort of, I've always been

curious about it.

Like, why 17?

That's so random, and why does that pop up?

And, you know what I mean?

So, it's a bit odd.

Well, that comes from Abraham.

Yes, yeah!

That 17 seconds thing comes from Abraham, where they say you have to do 17 seconds.

And, I think - I haven't listen to them in quite some time - but I think that at one

point I heard them say that it was even shorter now.

I've never gotten a message that said so and so many seconds.

I think that it is situational, and an individual, you know, thing that has to be looked at for

the individual.

And so, I basically have said, look - and I don't know about 17 seconds because, I have

certainly taken people through this process many, many, many times, where, after about

20 seconds they stop and they stop just short of actually getting there, because, you know,

that little bit of resistance comes up, that little bit of reluctance comes up, where,

you're like, "Ooh!"

And then, you kind of go: "This isn't working!"

And then, you want to run away.

Right?

Because you were just shy of coming to that.

And that doesn't happen at the 17 second mark.

So, if that was a universal measurement, then, we would be able to reproduce that, and measure

that, and see that every time.

17, 17, 17, 17.

Right?

You passed the 17 seconds mark.

And, it also depends on how pure the signal is; how much resistance you have as you focus

on it.

Hmmm!

Because, if you have no resistance, how much, how often do you need to do it?

Well, once!

Boom - in!

Right?

The reason why we repeat is, because, often, we're still banging it into place a little

bit.

It gets a little bit more comfortable, a little bit more comfortable, and little bit more

comfortable; oh, now it's comfortable.

Right?

And so then, we do it as long as it takes, basically, to get to that really good feeling

place, which is often more than 17 seconds.

Yeah?

But what you can see is within - and they don't say it's solved within 17 seconds, they

basically - I'm going to use my language to explain what they say.

Yeah?

Hmmm!

They say it takes 17 seconds to get the progression really going.

And, that may be true or not; I have not received that message, I don't know.

Yeah?

I've certainly not seen that play out in something that I could measure.

You know?

But, I think, that the message, the underlying message is that we're talking about seconds,

not hours, days, weeks, or months.

Yeah?

That, this kind of, work is really fast.

That if you really start to surrender to a frequency, and you really kind of go for it,

yeah, within a few seconds - I usually say, within 30 to 60 seconds, because that gives

people - people aren't going to watch the clock so much - 30 to 60 seconds, and that's

also my experience around where that happens.

Yeah?

Sometimes, after 20 or 30 seconds; sometimes, after about a minute.

Yeah?

But, where that happens, where, you get over that little hump, and it starts to already

feel better.

And, to me, that's the indication, when you're like, "Oh!"

That's the indication, now you're building a positive progression.

You just swapped into it, and everything starts to open up, and it's easier, and easier, and

better, and better.

It starts to build, and build; and more ideas come in, and more thoughts come in, and memories

come in that are positive.

That's when you're building that progression.

I think you can watch yourself do that.

And, it takes as long as it takes.

Sometimes it's going to be real quick.

Sometimes you're going to be sitting there for 45 minutes challenging yourself to - "Ok!

This doesn't quite feel right.

This doesn't quite feel right.

Let me re-shift.

What do I want; what do I want?

What do I want; what do I want?"

Yeah?

Until you hit that frequency, where then, you really start building that positive progression.

And so, I kind of stay away from measurements like that because I don't think they're helpful.

Yeah!

It's just always really confused me.

And, every time I do, actively, consciously try to sit and get that really good feeling

going, it's different every time.

You know, like, earlier I was just sitting, and trying to get into that really good feeling

place, without, sort of trying to force it, just sitting there, and my mind bounced around

loads.

And, I start thinking about, instead of focusing on this one particular thing, I started going

elsewhere, like a playground, and I was like, "Oh!

Wait a minute; let's go back here."

As long as it feels good!

Yeah!

You know; you can always let that happen because then, you understand what is happening, is;

you're getting lots of different representations.

Yeah?

Hmmm!

Yeah?

You're on a good feeling frequency and that just explodes.

And, you're like, "Oh!

I could do this; and I could do this.

And, oh my gosh!

And...."

And, all these ideas come in.

That's when you're really popping.

You've got that frequency going, and lots of data starting to come in.

You see, the data doesn't just come in on the negative side.

When you're exploring something, you sit on the negative feeling; you get more data; that

happens on the positive side too.

Because all that is, is just building a progression.

Right?

Bringing in more information; bringing in more representations, bringing in more evidence.

You can do that on the positive side too.

And, that's why, if you're in meditation or, you know, you're just sitting and trying to

feel good - and, you know you have it, when that shit starts happening.

Yeah?

When your mind just can't - instead of it looking for every negative thing, it's like,

going to every positive place.

Yeah?

And then, you've really - you've made it; you've made a shift when that happens.

You just enjoy the shit out of that!!

Yeah!

Yes, sometimes, I get into it really fast - in fact, once or twice, it's happened on

its own, and I've just, sort of, found myself, daydreaming.

Next thing you know, I'm feeling all good, and mushy inside, and I'm smiling, and I'm

like, "Oh; holy crap, I'm actually doing it!"

You know?

But I think, yeah, it's really fun; it's really fun.

But I want to get more into a habit of being able to do that every day, just a little bit

here and there, and play with it a bit.

And then; and obviously, you know, like, you taught us, it's really good because then,

we'll see where our resistance is at as well.

Hmmm!

But, yeah, but that whole thing about that specific time stamp has just always, sort

of, confused me, and I just thought it was really random.

So, it's good to hear that it's more about what feels right to you, and however long

it takes.

You know?

Yes, that's how I see it anyway.

I mean, I can only give you, you know, what I get, and what I can pass on.

But I never gave it much credence, just because, it didn't really resonate with me.

And, when I asked about it, the answers that I got, was that, that's too linear of a way

of looking at it.

And, I'm sure, you know, Esther Hicks and Abraham, they brought that through for a reason.

And, I think, the underlying message of that was, is: It really doesn't really take long

to do this.

Yeah?

Which, you know, I'm happy to say as well.

I just, you know, to me, it's not helpful, or empowering, to lock people into a certain

timeframe, because, especially with my crowd - maybe not everybody - but with my crowd,

people will lock into that 17 seconds, and then, if it hasn't happened by second 18,

they're like, "Oh!

I'm doing it wrong!"

And then, they'll over-think it, and they'll spiral, instead of - 30 to 60 seconds; how

about you give it that long?

How about - you know, you microwave a Burrito?

And, you give it that long.

Like, just relax a little bit, and you know, don't be so hardcore about how much time it

has to be.

But I do like to tell people that, because, if you're sitting there for 10 minutes, 20

minutes, and you're trying, and you're trying, and nothing's happening - you need to stop!

Like, don't keep hammering on after it.

Because if it didn't happen within a couple of minutes and you saw no movement; didn't

get worse, didn't get better, it's just the same, yeah, then, it's not happening.

Like, back-off; do something else.

Yeah?

You're not going to get it to pop by just pushing forward.

And so, I think, you know, there's a great message in the 17 seconds, which is: Don't

do this for, like, hours, and hours, and hours; as many people want to do.

Don't torture yourself.

It's like: You go in, you see if you get it to shift within, you know, a minute or

two, and if nothing happens, back away; because this is quick.

Now, sometimes, it takes several minutes, but something's happening the whole time.

Yeah?

So, if you have an anger release that takes 10 minutes, yeah, I mean, you are doing stuff

the whole time, energy's moving the whole time.

But if you go in, and you get, nothing happens within a minute or two, and you just, you

can't get any data, you can't get any more of anything - you just can't get at it yet;

you've got to back away, and let it come again.

Yeah?

Yeah, ok!

No, that's great; that makes a lot of sense to me.

Yeah!

Yes, because, the idea of putting in these parameters doesn't make sense.

I mean, because then you're just putting these, kind of, like weird restrictions on yourself

to have things a certain way.

And, I think, you've just got to go with how you feel.

Right?

So, yeah!

Yep!!

Yeah!

It works!

It so simple, isn't it?

Why, can't I just say that?

Let's put that on a T-shirt, and I can just retire.

Yeah?

Haha!

Haha!!

Ok!

No, no that's great, that's brilliant.

Thank you.

That was just my little point of curiosity that I wanted to ask, so.

Good!

How to create a stage plan and a rider (Eng Subtitles) - Duration: 10:16.

One of the most important things that needs an active band,

in order to avoid misunderstandings,

to have complience in live performances,

without unpleasant surprices

is to have a Stage Plan and a Rider

So, what is the stage plan and what's the rider.

In reall words, the stage plan,

is a top view of the stage

that informs the Sound crew

how to set up the instruments

on stage.

Rider has,

all the other informations for the gear,

the input list

and details about brands and types

of the gear.

So, in this video we will create step by step

a stage plan and a rider.

As an example we'll use a band, in which

I'm the soundman of this band in the concerts

and I have produce some of their albums.

I choose this band because

it 's not a classic rock band setting up

but it has some specific features,

like metronome channels

Loop channels

In ear headphones for monitoring

The name of the band is Underhill West.

Well, lets start from the stage plan

At the left corner I am writing the band's name

in a case of a festival

to inform the stage crew

about the band

I have set here the drumset

on the right place

the singer

the bass man

and the keyboards

a place for our computer

and the number of di's

in each side.

An important info is the monitor position

and what lines

go on every monitor.

Aux 1, Aux 2

Aux 3

Aux 4 with a sign who informs about in ears

The amp positions

of bass and guitar

In my stage plan

I have many more details

like the microphone types

but this information is at rider too.

This stage plan is coloured

but I 'm used to send it

as image file, like jpg

in order to be easy to run even in a cellphone

This doesn't mean that all stage plans must be like this

You can draw a stage plan, even by hand, if you want

or even on the simplest software

or...

in websites that helps you to draw one.

it's very easy to find one,

and some of them are free.

So you can create very fast

a stage plan

It's very important

to help the stage crew

to understand

what we need there.

Let's see the RIDER now

again on top I write the band name,

and I 'm going on with the input list

wich instrument goes to wich channel

This is important for the band's soundman, if there is one,

who sets up his mixer in a certain way

I 've started with the drumset

from 1 to 8

and here, wich microphone I need

there in no need to be strickt with this

if they don't have all the microphones why need

we can find something similar, that they have it.

I continue with bass

I ask for an active DI

that is also marked on the stage plan

Electric guitars,

with it's microphone,

the keyboards are stereo, so the 2 DIs we had had writen,

the pc is stereo too,

the other 2 DIs,

eeeeeee......

ooooooo....... :)))

Main voice

aaeee......

with the microphone that is needed,

and the 2 back vocals

I forgot to add

one more channel

Which I m going to add right now

It's the click track

the metronome

It's in an active DI

wich has allready been asked in the stage plan

This is the first page of the rider

the input list.

In the second page we have more specific information

the quality of the gear

It's good to ask for a professional system

without any noise,

that has been checked already

for any noises

It's very important not to have any speakers

on the stage

This can cause varius problems.

Anyway, I ask for this here.

And always, but always, we are on negociation with the team, who is going to set the gear on stage

for any problem

it depends on the place of the live.

Some places are not ideal for certain stage plans

Here is the ideal case.

I always ask the mixer to be

in the center of the place

I don' t want to move too much

But nowdays because of the digital mixers,

all this moving is much easier

But the mixer should be in the center,

in such distance,

so you can control the whole venue

front of house

what mixing desk we need

we can write the brand of the mixer we want

or the presets we have ready

or what suits better for us.

the monitor system

whar monitors we need

Here I ask for 5 monitors

you can fill the brand that you would prefer,

or you use more often

I repeat, this is the ideal case here...

that we can ask for anything

The side speakers

if needed

the brand names of the gear

and the left right lines

the drum set. The brand name, if we need a specific one

we can right it here

or we just refer to the size we need

I put a 22 bass drum

with 10-12-16 toms

and a 14*5.5 snare drum

or 14*6.5.

we ask for all the hardware

so the drummer won't need to curry

stands, pedals, etc.,

and we mention to the team that

the band comes with their own cymbals.

And in the last part there is anything else that can be need for the stage

here I ask for,

a stand for keyboards,

a stable one,

2 stands for guitars

for the guitar and the bass

three notation stands with light

Very, but very important to write down on the end the name and the contact numbers or e-mail adress

of the sound man or anyone in charge

it's better to be only one person in charge for the communication

so this is a basic stage plan and rider

In order to achieve a more professional image for a band

in a live event.

Choose to make a stage plan and a rider

in a simple form

doc or pdf document, that are easy to run on any device.

Avoid many colours and heavy archives.

You can find this form that I just made

in a link bellow, in the description,

as a word document.

How To Stay Motivated When Learning A Language - Duration: 7:01.

Hello everybody welcome to my channel. It's Gloria. I hope you're having a great day

so far. I love learning languages and get really excited when I see my improvement

in the language but reality check sometimes we might lose the motivation

and feel discouraged with our learning it maybe because we can't see immediate

reward from the language that we're learning or it may be because we're too

busy doing other stuff in life that's why when it comes to language learning

mindset is really important today's video is about how I stay

motivated when learning Japanese and other languages also what I do to re-inspire

myself when I fall off track the first thing is to find out your preferred learning

method if you watch to my previous videos you will know that I took my

Japanese Language Proficiency Test level by level and I didn't jump straight into

the hardest level one of the reasons is that learning Japanese is my hobby and I

didn't want to give myself any pressure I just want to enjoy the process of

learning I like my learning experience to be flexible so I always work on my

target into smaller and more manageable goals you can choose suitable materials

learning format and language experiences that you prefer to learn a language then

try different ways of learning and see which method works best for you

the second is to be disciplined but flexible with your learning I set

language learning to be part of my daily life and make it a habit so it will be

deeply ingrained to maintain my language ability we don't need a lot of time to

study for example I have a study routine to study during the time when

I'm commuting or spend 15 to 30 minutes a day to read something that I'm

interested in or watch a video in the language that

learning what we need to do is to make it a discipline and show up every single

day whenever possible which I believe that a small amount of daily work will yield

major results in the long term don't feel frustrated if you don't feel like

studying one day or if you're too busy and don't have the time or energy this

is normal you can always recharge and get back your routine another day

next is to set achievable goals it's difficult to learn a language and become

fluent in just three months it's almost impossible the best thing to do is to

set ourselves a goal that's realistic and we believe to be achievable we are all busy

in life work or school so in order to make sure you stick with your study

schedule we can set some daily goals like for example to learn five new vocabulary

items every day listen to a five-minute podcast or read a page of a book

another way I do is to write a goal each week and display it somewhere in the house

so that I can see it every day with that it's kind of a reminder for myself what

I need to do this week to achieve my goal this should be doable every day but

there will be a day where you just don't have the time to complete your daily

tasks and that's okay too the priority is quality over quantity the next thing is

to focus on what you have achieved believe in yourself that you can do it

and be proud of yourself that each time when you do it well a lot of the time we

tend to focus on what we lack of but forget to see how much we have learned

think about the first day that when you start learning the language and

recognize how much you know now and what you're good at will remind yourself that

you are improving what I mean is always reflect on what you have learned so far

by doing this you will feel the encouragement and feel that you're

progressing which will in turn motivate you the fifth thing I want to

share is something that you can do it easily to boost your motivation it is to

reward yourself once you reach a milestone or let's say you have a very

productive week of studying don't forget to treat yourself on your

achievement whether it's to reward yourself a

piece of chocolate cake watch a movie that you've been waiting for

or an hour rest to play game or something like that

this can make your language learning journey and ongoing mission because

nobody wants to keep studying that we should have a balance between our

studies and personal life the next tip is to find interesting way to learn the

language learning a language should be fun and I find that use the resources

that you like to learn will make it more interesting for me I really like

watching dramas and movies in the language that I'm learning I also enjoy

reading books online articles and magazines or maybe you like to have a

conversation lesson with your language teacher most importantly do not stress

yourself and have fun with it find something that connects with you and

give yourself something that to work towards this tip for me is very

important it is do not compare yourself to others we are our own worst enemy

sometimes we like to compare ourselves to the achievements by others instead of

comparing ourselves to other language learners we should compare to our own

progress you can evaluate yourself by comparing the current year to the

previous or review it monthly for example you can tell yourself and think

back last year I was still a beginner in the language and this year I've managed to

reach the intermediate level that way we will be able to see our own improvement

boost our motivation instead of focusing on what other people have achieved the

last thing I wanna share is how to re-inspire yourself and know your motivation

triggers and remind yourself again why did you start learning the language in

the first place and what do you want to achieve

sometimes it's normal to feel like that we start to slow down or get discouraged

when learning a language so when it happens we need to know how to bounce back asap

for me when I'm feeling down I like to listen to inspiring podcasts reading books written

by people who inspire me as I do these and encouraged by their success then I will

start thinking I should be back in action and do what I need to do again so

realizing this gives me the motivation to start working towards my own goals

again and continue to expand myself in the language so these are what I do to

stay motivated when learning a language I hope you find these helpful and always

look for reasons to keep going with your language learning journey if there are

any tips you personally use to stay motivated in your studies please share

them in the comments or if you have any other questions do leave them down below

as well alright I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did please don't

forget to give me a thumbs up so that I know also subscribe to my channel to see

more videos thank you so much for watching I hope you have a wonderful day

and I'll see you in the next one bye

Keita 'bitter' about Bayern clash - and knows how to help Reds - Duration: 3:53.

Naby Keita wants to erase the "bitter" memory of his last cup meeting with Bayern Munich - and is confident his knowledge of the Bundesliga side can help Liverpool in their Champions League showdown

Keita has started to realise his potential for the Reds after a difficult start to his Anfield career following his £52

75million arrival from RB Leipzig last summer.  The midfielder is aiming for a fifth successive start when Jurgen Klopp's side entertain Bayern in their Champions League round of 16 first leg tie on Tuesday

The 24-year-old enjoyed a number of battles with the German giants during his time in the Bundesliga, scoring one goal and setting up the other in a 2-1 win over the Bavarians in his last such encounter in March 2018

However, the German Cup clash between the teams last season ended in controversy with Keita sent off after two yellow cards in quick succession as Leipzig tumbled to defeat on penalties

And Keita said: "The dismissal left me extremely bitter. I thought the referee's decision was very harsh

I had taken a lot of fouls without any of them being punished. And then for me there were two quick cards

"For me, this match is a chance to do better." Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will start in 8Cancel Play now  While Keita believes his recent clashes with Bayern can help Liverpool, he acknowledges there are several in the Reds camp who can similarly assist

"I'm not the only expert in this regard - in Xherdan Shaqiri we even have an ex-Bayern player," he said

"And of course our coach Jurgen Klopp knows all about them. But yes, I know about Bayern's strengths and how to play against them

"I moved to Liverpool to win trophies. In the championship we are well in the race, and we have a chance in the Champions League

"We are working hard to present one or the other trophy to the fans at the end of the season

"  Keita was talking in an interview with German media outlet Sport Bild during which he was joined by Sadio Mane

And the Senegalese is anticipating a classic encounter against Bayern, who would have met Liverpool in the final last season but for defeat in the semi-final against eventual winners Real Madrid

"Bayern were really close to reaching the final, but Real were strong," he said

"Unfortunately, we also felt that in the final. Keep up to date with the all the build-up to Liverpool vs Bayern Munich here  "Now we're up against Bayern

The form from last season shows two extraordinary teams will meet.  "For me it was a dream to play the Champions League final

And that all the more makes me want to go there again and win it!"

How to make OKONOMIYAKI | Kā pagatavot OKONOMIJAKI - Duration: 4:13.

Hello, everyone!

Today we are in okonomiyaki restaurant.

Okonomi means as you like it, yaki means cooked.

Okonomiyaki is a salty Japanese pancake and it consists of various ingredients. (base ingredients are flour, eggs, chopped cabbage)

You will see it yourself soon.

Since okonomiyaki is a famous cuisine all over Japan

you can find it pretty much anywhere in Japan.

But the real okonomiyaki can be found in Kansai region and Hiroshima.

*restaurant owner turns on the stove*

Usually before your meal you will be served a free cold water

and a wet napkin (oshibori) to clean your hands.

Is this your first time in this restaurant?

Yes, this is my first time here.

Have you ever tried Kansai region or Hiroshima's okonomiyaki?

Yes, I do.

How are they different?

Their ingredients differ a little.

Oh, I see! How is Hiroshima's okonomiyaki different?

There are cooked noodles (yaki soba) inside the okonomiyaki.

I see! And the Kansai one?

Kansai okonomiyaki is without yaki soba (cooked noodles)

Oh, I see, I see!

*shrimp*

*pork*

*cheese*

*first, oil the pan*

*then mix the ingredients*

Okay, I think I've mixed the ingredients well enough.

This okonomiyaki is with cheese.

*put the ingredients on the pan*

When one side is cooked well enough, you can flip it.

And this is how it looks.

*when one side is cooked well enough, flip it professionally*

*add okonomiyaki sauce*

*add mayo*

*add dried, green laver - aonori*

*add Japanese condiment katsuoubushi*

You slice it like this.

And okonomiyaki is ready!

Bon appétit in Japanese

I don't know why, but the taste reminds me potato pancakes.

But it tastes really good!

And also its easy to make!

Eating okonomiyaki you get full really fast.

We couldn't finish it all.

One okonomiyaki we asked for take away.

This restaurant is a family business, and I personally prefer places like this over chain restaurants.

It was a cozy and most important a delicious dinner!

Thank you for watching!

See you in the next video!

Ciao!

How to Make Money on Social Media as a Beginner - Duration: 3:07.

(Jag) this channel is viewed by most of the business people who are startups so I just want to add

value to them as well so what what do you think as a start-up

today you know what social media platform should they be looking into?

(Nat) Sure, it depends what kind of industry they're in

so the question you've got to ask yourself is

Where is your customers attention?

So if you're in a business to business type arrangement

and you're targeting other businesses for example

they'll have a key decision maker and it may be the Director it may be the HR Manager maybe

the Procurement Manager you know could be even the Facility Services Manager

depending on what service you're offering in that case LinkedIn is going

to be the most effective for business-to-business

It's the largest business social media site out there.

If you're in business-to-consumer, your selling t-shirts or your a rock band

Facebook is probably gonna be more effective because that's more of a business to consumer type platform

ideally you'd be on all of them but I think the most important thing as a

start-up is to focus your energy on where your customers are

and really go full-out on that platform rather than trying to spread your

resources too thin too early

(Jag) yeah look this is what I've seen in the startup as

well like I made the same sort of mistakes in the past as well but this is

what I'm seeing at the moment as well that a lot of startups start actually

expanding themselves into different platforms without knowing which one

actually helped them or could actually help them more you know using Twitter

aswell you'll see Instagram, Facebook, using LinkedIn pretty much everywhere

and none of them are sort of doing anything but this force them to be doing so

what do you reckon to rather than concentrating on a lot of other channels

just start working on you know just one or two from your experience?

(Nat) yeah absolutely and the great thing about LinkedIn is even though it's a

business-to-business type social media site it's still very personal so focusing

on your personal brand is always gonna be more effective than the company page

or the company's brand and build your relationships build up strong business

networks and what will happen is if your target market is say let's say you

target dentists for example as you grow your connections with dentists

you'll find that you get a critical mass and next time

you send a connection request to a dentist they can see oh

you've got 300 connections in common who are also dentists - there's going to be

more chance that they're going to engage with you so you start to get

econoomies of scale and that kind of thing so if you haven't got a niche

I'd encourage you to get one you'll find that your social media marketing will work a lot better for you

A great example, I do a lot of work with Westpac Bank

and a lot of the Financial Advisers you know, if you ask them who their

target market is they say, 'well anyone with money' or 'anyone with a self-managed-super-fund'

whereas the guys that say, 'hey look I'm gonna specialize in dentists' for example

all of a sudden you're the SMSF specialists for dental practitioners

when you contact a dentist they've got a much higher chance of

responding to you because you're the specialist in that area

EDITING WALK THROUGH #1 HOW TO CREATE THIS SURREAL SKIN EFFECT - Duration: 14:23.

Hello humans today i wanna talk to you about "Beauty in Pain" that is the name of an artwork i

created about a month ago and shared on instagram.

And some of you asked me how i did it so i think this is the perfect opportunity to share

with you a little behind the scenes and walk you through my .PSD file so you can see exactly

that i did to create this illusion with Photoshop.

I have my laptop back here so... let's get started.

Okay so... i already opened my .PSD file but first i want to explain to you how i took

the picture.

when you have an idea for a concept the best thing you can do is to prepare your props

or anything you'll need for the shot and not to rely on Ptohoshop that much.

It is a lot easier when you make the work during the shoot and not just in post-production.

In my case i needed something that looked like i was opening my chest, so i used an

old piece of fabric that i had it was blue and i know, that does not match my skin tone

but i knew i could change that easily later.

So i cut it with a scissor in the middle, that way i could grab the edges and create

the illusion of an open chest.

Hum hum

I used a lightbulb on my right side and i had a window on the left.

At this point i was totally improvising cause i prefer to shoot outdoors but i did it inside

to give a sence of intimacy to the finished piece.

I took photos with the fabric and without it to have pictures of my chest that i used

to replace the fabric in Photoshop.

I usually take 10 to 15 photos but these time i totally over did it.

i wasn't sure about the light, the pose, i wasn't even sure if this was going to work,

So i think i took more than 50 pirtures (way more) and i ended up using onlye three of

them.

Let's go to the .PSD file so i can show you.

This is the first image that i chose as the main one and in top of this one we are going

to add two more so we can replace this fabric for skin i'm going to show you exactly what

i did first i noticed that this hole was smaller than i wanted too.

Basically i just copied the image.

You can ignore this, cause this is not going to be like that and after this i wanted to

blend the tone with the skin and i used an adjusment layer of Hue and Saturation.

It's easier when you choose exactly the color you want to change i changed the cyans as

you can see this is the original tone and i'm going to show you...

okay here we go to cyans and this is how it was and you can change exactly what you want

or the tone that you want.

And of course i used another adjustment layers of brightness and contrast to make some shadows

where i needed to.

And now we have to erase completely the fabric.

So i'm going to show you the other pictures that i've used.

I used this one and this one.

So let's start with this one.

I did a mask to hide all the things that i didn't need of this picture.

And i'm going to show you that mask, here you can see how it looks , obviously the nipples

aren't in the exact same place but believe me, it still works xD.

And is a little darker as you can see so with another adjusment layer of Brightness and

contrast i can change that, here i made it brighter and here i made it also brighter

but is applied to all the layer.

Now we have completely erased the fabric up there.

Now we need to hide this part of the fabric.

we are going to use the third picture.

Im going to show you what i did. This is the picture and i also used masks to hide what

i did not wanted so first i'm going to show you the mask of the folder and now the one

that is really important.

You can see it looks really weird but is because i'm still seeing the body of the main picture,

i mean this one so to hide that i created a new layer and used the stamp tool to clone

the background, and that's it.

But as you can see (again xD) here looks very weird, because i chose an image that has a

different angle so we have to fix this.

I did it really quickly, i merged all this layers and used liquify you can see here the

difference i streched this and made another changes over here so it looks more aesthetic,

and well, my skin tends to turn very red, i had to hid all this scratches, while i was

making the picture i thought about using duct tape to hold the fabric but that didn't work

so i only used my hands, and well.

I hid all this scratches using this tool, the healing brush and it was really easy.

I'm going to show you how i did it.

Let's say i want to take this off.

That's it that's how easy it is to use the healing tool. Then i sed again anothes adjustment

layers, here my skin looks ywllowish or bluish and i had some pinks and reds that are not

that flatering.

I used Hue and Saturation a lot and i'm going to show you what i did.

I almost never use this on master cause i prefer to edit every color separetly, so here

i worked with reds cause as i said before there are really weird tones here i just merely

changed this to +11.

And here i recovered some reds that i think should remain like the ones from here.

Adn then i gave some contrast.

So if we hide all this we are going to see the main image and what we have done so far.

But now we need to fill this with flowers so i'm going to show you how i did it.

I need to hide this for a minute and this is the image i used i think i dowloaded from

shutterstock.

i'm going to make this mask visible again so you can see what i did and to make it look

real you have to pay a LOT of attention to the shadows and the light i correct this using

a lot of adjustment layers.

I'm going to show you wich ones i used.

First i started with Brightness and Contrast because this is much brighter than it should.

With this layer i lowered a lot the brightness and a little bit the contrast.

Then i used levels to make the blacks lighter.

Here i have two curves.

I want to zoom these so you can see better.

This is like a Dodge and Burn thing cause i'm trying to make brighter the things that

ithink should be.

You have to as i said be very creative and try to make it look as realistic as possible

and we have some light coming from this direction, if this flower is really out here shoould

be more illuminated cause the liught is going almost directly to it.

The shadows also help, this is a hole after all.

And also if you can see here there should be more shadows, that's what i did with these

layers.

How i did this?

I created a new layer i used the brush tool and a dark color.

And basically just started to paint the places that i thought should be more dark.

And then i changed the blending mode to multiply.

Then you can change the opacity so you can... you can't make this it looks weird but if

you lower the opacity to 10 or 15% it looks better.

i''m going to erase this.

So look how it was without the adjustment layers i created.

It was really flat and it didn't look well, but with these adjustment layers

there is a lot of difference.

After putting all the flowers i thought it was a grat idea to put a leaf right here,

so i used, here, i'm going to show you.

I sed the same image, here's a leaf so i masked that out, put some shadows and then we have

to again, work on the adjustment layers.

The light is coming from here so it should be brighter here and darker here.

Here is the light with a layer of brightness and contrast with a mask you're going to see

here, without the mask and with the mask.

Here's another layer of brightness and contrast to make it darker and with less contrast.

There's also a shadow that is missing, here.

If the light is coming from here and the flower is above the hand then it should have a very

tiny shadow.

And now let's work a little bit on the background.

i'm not sure what i did here but i changed the tone a little bit.

then again with brightness and contrasti just lower the brightness and the contrast remains

the same.

And here i completely changed the color to blue, with hue and saturation when you pressed

this "Colorized" thing you are going to be able to change completely the tones.

That's very awesome cause you can see wich color you prefer.

Here we have another buch of adjustment layers, i'm not going to explain much about this cause

i don't think it's important.

Let's move to these other layers.

I'm going to create a new layer but this layer will contain all we have done so far.

And i'm going to use Filter / Camera Raw Filter.

If you change this up a little bit, i'm going to make... you can see how it changes from

this to this in a second.

And i love to use this cause you can change the tones individually, it's very helpful.

Okay so let's cancel this we are almost done but after seeing the image i thought i was

missing something so i added some feathers.

this feathers were in a black background and i did not have to do much work cause i just

changed the blending mode.

In normal you are goint to see all the black of the background but if you change that to

Screen is going to look just fine, and with almost no work.

What we got left is a buch of adjustment layers again.

And that's it i think we are done, i'm going to show you the before, i love to do that.

This is the main image

and this is the final image

The main image

and again, the final image.

So i know this was a really messy edit and you are probably confused with all of these

adjustment layers and all of these merged images with another adjustments and filters.

But even tho this was really messy i wanted to show you cause a lot of you ask me how

to achieve something like this with photoshop.

And that's all for now

Energy update - How to Find Core Purpose - Bonnie Vent Channeling - Session 43 - Duration: 4:24.

Connection Channeling Session 02/16/19 EP43 Welcome Dear Ones,

We would like to discuss the concept of purpose.

Many are still asking about their purpose.

Please know that the fact that you are asking means you have achieved a level of awareness.

Congratulate yourself.

So many are criticizing themselves over this topic, while others claim confusion and a

lack of knowing.

We would like you to simplify this process and not overthink to the point of doing nothing.

You are much more powerful than the culture has led you to believe.

Please take a moment to really hear this statement.

It is the first step.

Once you know that your energy makes a difference and is important you can go to the next step.

Spend whatever time you need here to clear out what you are not.

All of things the outside world told you and not necessarily the truth of the matter.

If they do not bring a positive feeling you need to throw them away or neutralize them

with your own power of discernment.

Ask yourself if what you were told feels true.

If it feels like punishment, then concentrate on getting rid of it.

Many have been spending a lot of time in the clearing process and then wake up one day

and they feel empty.

This is not a bad thing, dear one.

Please resist the temptation to fill back up with the very things you deemed as not

feeling good.

Once your field is clear, you can start to think about what you are naturally good at.

Do not consider money in this process.

So often we hear I am good at this thing, but it does not pay the bills.

That thinking ruins this process, so please set aside the money issue for now.

You chose those natural abilities before you came into this life.

They are extremely important.

Spend time identifying what they are.

Now, think about how it would feel to really perform those natural abilities as part of

your daily life.

Some will feel better than others.

It can be subtle, but you should be able to feel a difference.

Which ones would you do joyfully, no matter what?

That is core purpose revealing itself to you.

Start there and work your way forward.

Perhaps you like to make things, or maybe communication and helping others brings joy

and perhaps many things bring this feeling.

Try them all and explore what feels the best.

Being happy causes a natural contribution to those around you.

It is this natural gift or gifts that are the most useful to yourself and everyone you

touch.

Go and create abundance from this happy place and watch the ripple effect, there is no better

purpose or contribution.

Until we meet again Thank you for joining us today if you'd like

How Much Wealth Does Fethullah Gulen's Family Have? - Sibgatullah Gulen (with English Subtitles) - Duration: 11:33.

The sadness that caused by the recent events...

Gave Hocaefendi very hard times.

I heard that sons have talked to him this morning.

His tension got high this morning again.

He had some little illnesses.

Probably because of stress.

May Allah give the ones who sadden him the sense of mercy.

We don't say anything bad, May Allah give them the sense of mercy

What can we say...

If we say anything bad,

There will be no effect to them but just our sins will increase.

If we say good things and they become better somehow, at least our sins may decrease.

We wish our prayers to help them to open their eyes.

And we cannot say anything more.

We don't acknowledge hate and anger which are the compounds of unbelief and rebellion!

We removed them from our dictionaries!

We don't want to look at it and see it!

We hate hatred and...

...we condemn hostility!

We say nothing but love and loving!

And in such atmosphere and happiness,

...WE WANT TO BUILD A NEW WORLD!

This world will not be built with firing guns and exploding bombs!

We will build this world with raising our humility!

With focusing on development of our manners!

With giving ourselves the opportunity of exploring deeply about our inner spirituality and to conquer our hearts!

We entered this way of cause by saying "Love"!

We couldn't have entered there with any other way, indeed!

Because Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)entered this way of cause by saying "Love"!

Speaking of visiting Hocaefendi,

I went to USA. My son who lives there took me from the airport.

It was Ramadan time. We went to my son's house, it was afternoon.

We were going to have iftar there. But only think I could think was to go and see Hocaefendi.

We had our dinner and went to Hocaefendi's place.

Entered the place that Hocaefendi is staying.

Isha time.

Hocaefendi was walking along the corridor to get to the saloon for isha prayer.

Right at the moment that he stepped out from his place, I stepped in from the outside gate.

He stopped for a moment like this,

And said: " Waah, Sir Sibgat..." I ran to him directly.

He had never hugged me like that.

How he hugged me... strong with his two hands.

I had to seize the opportunity, I also hugged him strong.

We consoled our longing that way.

For 40 or 50 years, I have been visiting him but, it's the first time he hugged me such.

But this time, it'd been 4 years since we've last seen each other.

During that time, we talked on camera several times but,

But we did not meet for real during that time.

We couldn't go to each other for 4 years.

Thanks to My God.

He hugged me tight. I thought "Okay, My Ustad embraced me like this, now nothing happens to me anymore inshaallah."

This time, it was like that, when we first saw each other.

And once, while leaving...

He cried. When I was leaving there that time.

He went out of the place he lives.

Went further then the parking lot.

By walk,

To do a farewell to me.

Every time I was leaving there, he definitely would accompany me there outside.

This time, at his place, I just kissed his hands and asked for excuse to leave.

Because I was going to leave the next day.

I told that I will visit the children and the grandchildren there. He said "Okay. You may leave after visiting them."

The first meeting was very close, but this time he had his farewell just inside the building.

Didn't go out this time.

Just in the building, he said farewell, take care.

Then I kissed his hand.

Of course he doesn't give his hand. I have never seen him giving his hand.

Once, I begged, cried, he said "Don't play with me, I won't give my hand."

Allah,

May Allah give him health and long life.

Once I said this he said, "Only if it is good for me if not, may He not give."

I had said to his face:

"We always pray for you, for Him to give you long, long life and health.

But he said, "Only if it is good for me."

If not, may He not give.

Inshallah I wish he has a long life and health.

May He give him comfort and peace.

When this events arised,

The people who talked against Hocaefendi made me cry.

I actually cried for them.

How can such a thing happen?

We didn't expect anything like this

Beleive me, still, I feel sad for them..

I don't feel sad for Hocaefendi.

Hocaefendi had already said 50-60 ago, "I am the traveler of this path,...

...I am ready to face everything."

Whatever they say, they don't affect Hocaefendi even a bit.

Of course it makes him sad somehow but not for himself.

For example, there are times that he had been wanted all over the country, and the times that he spent time in jail.

I assure you, even in those times, he didn't feel this much sorrow for himself.

When he was in custody,

I had brought a coat for him, he didn't accept.

He said that "I can get along with my coat."

That time he didn't feel sad.

But now, if he is sad, it is for the people around him.

Thinking that "What if people around me will get hurt?"

I don't mean the people from his family.

The ones who are so connected to him with love and loyalty,...

...And who has sacrificed everything they have in the way that Hocaefendi showed them, for the sake of Allah.

I am sure about that he is not sad for himself and not sad for his family as well.

Because - thank God and all praise be to God - up until now,...

...Thousands times thanks and praises be to my God that...

...Any of our children,...

...Anyone among Hocaefendi's siblings,...

...And any close relative of us never ever had an act which might have caused Hocaefendi's face to get blushed and him to be ashamed.

Thousand thanks to my Allah-

We even haven't been to a police station for giving statement.

Speaking of Politics, we haven't even tend to have the governorship of a district, nor a building manager-ship.

We didn't think of those

Because those things have responsibilities. We might not be able to handle it.

We even didn't tend to a nominating for a village chief candidacy.

Because they will say that we are politicians, etc.

Among the politicians from the time of old government, and current government

I took offers for some positions for Erzurum.

They offered me the position of municipal board. If I had asked maybe they would have let me be a congressman, either.

We will give your name for the candidate of Position of municipal board.

They said that "Be a candidate for that place. In that place you will win the election.

I swear to God, I rejected them.

I said to them "No, we can't have such a thing. Our Ustad said, "I seek refuge God from the politics."

Told them that we can't involve the politics.

I rejected.

It doesn't matter what people say nowadays.

If I do such a thing without Hocaefendi's knowledge, Hocaefendi would reject me in the first place.

Why?

Before, one of our close relatives,

Himself requested to be the candidate to be a congressman of a party and they were going to let him run for it.

Hocaefendi called me,

Look, Sir Sibgat, No one of us should involve the politics.

Of course The recent issues make us so sad.

One may think a lot kind of things to say.

I know so many bad words, sayings from our hometown, Erzurum.

But I heard that

Our Hocaefendi told wherever he went, "Do not respond to them with the same way they do to you."

Since it is so, what we do is to keep silence, we don't respond that way.

Whatever they say, they say anyway.

Actually a lot of investigations have been conducted on us.

A lot of things got checked. We were asked, if we have car, house...

In our family,

Two brothers have their own house.

This house has 3 years of land title.

Children had gotten credit from the bank to buy this house. And the old house was bought by the government for 17K $ as required confiscation.

So, actually I don't want to stay in a house like this.

Because this is contrary to Hocaefendi's principles.

But I was obliged to do this because of my this child.

I can't stay in an apartment because this child disturbs the neighbors.

That's why, sons said that there is this house, we can\t find any convenient one.

So, only my brother and I have our own house. Other siblings don't have their own houses.

And other than these two houses, official or non official, we don't have any other property.

There were farm lands inherited from our father, but we donated them to the foundation.

Foundation had its ownership.

Our ancestors had been serving to our country for centuries.

Had stood by our country.

We too are standing by our country.

It doesn't matter if we stand by the government or not.

Government is the one which left us.

We still wish their favour.

I still get sad too much for them because of what words they say.

I wish they hadn't told this kind of unfortunate words.

As our Hocaefendi advises us,

Be patient.

One day,

The sun will come up and wipe out all the darkness

This is all we hope for.

Vesselam. May Allah be pleased with you.
