Hello everyone!

So today, as promised I'm recording this video for those who asked me what do I bring with me for concerts

I told you I would do it so here I am!

So, what stuff do I bring with me? Here we go for the survival guide!

Obviously

the official Lightstick!

A must!

Plan bringing more batteries (3 AAA) for the lightstick

so it won't turn off in the middle of the concert like what happened to me last year

So bring more batterie than neccessary it can be useful

this lightstick is a battery eater even turned off so take off the batteries when not used and put them only in 10-20 minutes before the show

My official jersey from the merchandising

BAEKHYUN!!!!

I personnaly can't go to a concert without this kind of official goddies

Bring with you a ticket holder (where you can put your money inside too)

This one is the ticket holder provided last year by SM for Global package participants

For others, just bring one with you to put your ticket, money and papers

Obviously you should not loose your ticket so keep it in a safe place

because is the worst and the most stressful thing

as if going overseas for a concert where nobody understands you ins't stressful enough xD

Watch your ticket!

Bring a water bottle for the concert

Last year I didn't have one for the first day and it was really hard

bring with you a water bottle unless you do the Global Package,

SM provides an iced water bottle for the 1rst concert so bringing a second one would be useless

If you are in standing at the front row

you won't need a bottle neither, staff will give you a glass of water when you ask them (gesture)

they give you plastic glasses for at least the 10 first rows in the pit

Keep in mind that an EXO concert is equivalent to a marathon

You have to keep up!

Personally last year out of three concerts I wore heels for two shows (around 11cm)

I went to the last one with sneakers because I was dead tired and I had a good spot at first row

As I'm already taller than most of Kfans in the pit I didn't need to wear heels

here are the monsters :)

(I do most of my standing concerts with heels it is more convenient for me

but it depends on your motivation and if you can handle the pain for at least 5-6 hours in a row without seating )

I don't know if I will wear them this year because all the venue will be seated in the stadium

so first I'll ask the staff if we are allowed to stand up during the concert, if so I most prolly wear my high heels

A lifesavior :)

POWER BANKS!!

for those who want to take some pictures and videos during the show it is an absolute need!

Be carefull staff in Korea is strict about taking pictures and videos,

it is prohibited, if they catch you, you will be told to leave the venue (and they will delete your data!!!)

I personnaly always bring powerbanks to concerts (because I use my battery really quickly :( )

I bring some slogans (Baekhyun slogans) easy to carry and a plus to be noticed

I bring two different slogans this year

the second one :)

I also bring fans because it's HOT in Korea (you don't say)

a second one for this too

If you follow me on Twitter you must have seen picture of what I prepared for the concert

It's my first attempt and I'm quite satisfied with the result

Bringing handmade goods with your bias picture makes you more easy to spot in the crowd

I also bring gifts for the members but I won't show them in the video

for the gifts, bring small goods so the staff won't take it away when you enter

Last year I brang a small plancard (A4) but for standing pit I do not think it is convenient

for seating it's okay though

I didn't bring less stuff but it's less bulky

About bags, be careful

last year I brang a backpack but it was too big for standing areas so the staff told me I couldn't enter the venue

I had to bring my backpack to the baggage room, it was really stressful

Plan bringing money, baggage room was around 2.000 W (less than 2$)

bring around 10.000W (10$) to buy some snacks and beverages before the show

Last year I lost around 10-15 minutes because my bag was too big

so be careful and ask the staff if you can beforehand

So this year as it is a seating show I will ask the staff

but I bring two different bags (and I'll see at the hotel)

A tote bag

(the small one is okay but I'd prefer bringing a bigger bag )

and a larger one (given by SM last year for The EXOR'DIUM in Seoul Global Package)

this one is more convenient for me because it is large enough for all the stuff I want to bring

If you want to buy slogans and cheering kits to fansites,

be careful not to buy too much especially if you do the Global Package

(Global Packages are tight sheduled so you can't waste your time!!)

so only buy a few (1-2)

Last year I bough 7-8 of them and it was a real mess, I had to run to pick up my stuff and it was really stressful

For freebie, bring with you some photocards (in a box/album) to show the fans

I obviously bring Baekhyun's photocards

Check if you have wifi too, some fans request to see your Twitter fan account

or to show them you are following their account or that you RTed the notice

(they state on their twitter notice what you should bring/show them it can also be official goods like a fan...)

so check your wifi connexion

I'm bringing dolls with me for the trip, to film my vlog etc but I'm not sure abt bringing it inside the venue

I already have a lot of things inside my bag so it will just anoy me I don't want to bring it and leave it inside my bag

If you want to take pic/videos, empty your phone storage to be sure you can record as much as you want

(BE CAREFUL WITH THE STAFF INSIDE THE VENUE)

A little piece of advice for Global Package participants,

bring stickers and pens because, normally you'll be given papers to write letters to EXO

so make sure your letter pretty and paste stickers on it !

For fanchants

Be sure you are on point! We know it is really important for Kpop groups especially for concerts in Korea (it can be recorded)

To memorize them you can look on the internet for guides (lyrics+fanchant)

but I do not like this

I prefer listening several times to live performances (from MCD, Music bank...) or concerts fancams.

I advice you to download those in MP3 and to listen to them before the show so you will know them by heart

Something I saw when I went to the concert last year in Korea,

useful for girls with bangs covering their forehead

Korean fans use kind of curlers so their bangs won't disturb them during the concert

they also use Cool Patches to cool down their temperature,

they put it on their forehead, back, cleevage even cheeks

You can find these stuff on Amazon but I do not buy the personnally

last year instead of buying this, I brang a hand towel from the hotel and it was enough for me

A tip for GP participant:

Make sure you have empty space in your suitcase

well it depends on how much MD you will buy (freebies and cheering kits included) and what kind of Glabl Package you bought

but last year I had a hard time closing my suitcases because of all the gifts and MD I bought

(both of my suitcases were overweighted for the plane)

Prepare your voice and body, sleep well not to be too tired

don't forget to to eat and drink to avoid fainting durring the concert, sugar is mandatory

that's it!

The Alexander Graham Bell Association Blocked Me On Twitter - Duration: 5:10.

So over the weekend, I read the comment section,

which was a terrible thing to do.

But I read the comment section of an article

about the Apple thing, and somebody said,

that I was trying to make ASL extinct.

And let me just say, the Alexander Graham Bell Association

for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, blocked me on Twitter

and dislike me for a reason.

And that's what this video is about.

So, yeah, the AG Bell Association for the Deaf

and Hard of Hearing, blocked me on Twitter.

It was last year when Nyle DiMarco won

Dancing with the Stars and somehow that started

this whole feud between the Alexander Graham Bell

Association and the d/Deaf community in general.

I can't remember exactly what happened

and exactly what was said, but you know,

Nyle is someone who has been promoting,

equal language access, especially, you know,

access to ASL, on national television.

On America's Next Top Model and on Dancing with the Stars,

which is freaking fantastic because as someone

who didn't get that choice, I like that choice

for other kids.

Because then they don't have to grow up until

they're 25 and trying to learn a language.

Because learning a language in your adult years

is extremely difficult to do.

So naturally, at some point, the association

makes an open letter to Nyle DiMarco,

talking about how, gosh, what did they say?

I can't remember exactly what was said,

but I remember bits and pieces being about how

deaf kids need oral language as well

in order to you know, develop efficiently, or whatever.

And, this is the same mindset that other companies

who have contacted me to work with them,

it's the same mentality that they have.

Umm... No thanks, by the way.

And of course, me, I can't keep my mouth shut,

so I, once again, I can't really remember

exactly what was said.

But I just remember saying stuff like,

"Hi, meet my friend so and so, who may have grown up

mainstream a little bit, but they use ASL

or you know, insert sign language here,

and they're doing just fine.

Oh by the way, meet my other friend who has

grown up in Deaf culture, 100%, has a pretty good,

decent grasp on English, but is the most

comfortable with ASL.

And they're doing fantastic.

They have jobs, they've been on Spring Awakening,

what have you done?

Whatever it was, I was basically standing up

for my friends and Alexander Graham Bell Association

didn't like that very much.

Now listen, here's the thing about deaf kids

who grew up mainstream.

We have a little more privilege than those

who just grew up in Deaf culture

and sign 99.9% of the time.

If I'm standing next to a deaf person who mostly

just signs, the person whoever it is,

like say this was a job interview,

they're gonna pay more attention to me,

than to them, because I'm speaking English right?

And, for them, it's easier to communicate

with me, even if I can't understand what the heck

they're saying, and even if I'm like, yo,

can you write that down.

So even though naturally, I am Alexander Graham Bell's

choice as far as deaf people go,

even though he kind of tried to annihilate all of us.

By the way, that's a different video,

that's a different educational video for another time.

I know I said I'd get it done,

it's in the works.

So even though I would be AG Bell's grand choice

or at least one of them, because I talk most of the time,

because I was mainstreamed, and basically I was everything

that he wanted in deaf people,

that Association didn't like me because I was standing

up for the underdog.

And I wasn't the only one that they blocked.

They blocked a couple of other people too,

just because we were like, hey,

if you want a cochlear implant,

go do you, that's your business, that's your body.

If you want a hearing aid, so be it.

If you just want to go with spoken English, so be it.

And I know people are gonna argue with me on that

but I like choices, right.

Well AG Bell Association does not like to hear that,

and so they just started you know,

blocking people left and right if they didn't have

the same opinion as them.

So, that was a fun time.

That felt like a very big accomplishment

to myself and a couple of other people who were blocked.

If you ever want to know how to get blocked by them,

then just tell them, that you like sign language I guess,

and you know, they'll just go, yeah, no.

No, and they'll just, block you.

I'm not really sure what happened after that,

I'm sure there were a few more open letters

to Nyle and the Deaf community, deaf people

in general, whether you're a big "D" or little "d",

but um, yeah.

Fun time.

You know what's funny?

I just actually read a post on Tumblr earlier

that said, something along the lines of shout out

to Alexander Graham Bell for f***ing us all over,

and I laughed at that.

Because thank you Alexander Graham Bell,

you're the reason why we have this big old war

between us and our own community anyway.

that will be more educational and scripted than this.

ABOUT ME - PART 2 - SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS - Duration: 10:00.

Hello everyone! I'm Mario Gabud. Greetings to all of you visiting my YouTube channel "Gabudizator_Conditioning".

In this video I will be talking about my sporting achievements so you could get to know me better.

I hope I won't bother you with my story anymore than this, but I wanted to introduce myself some more in case it might motivate you to better follow my work.

So, I started to actively train when I was 17, before that I pretty much tried out many different sports like most of kids do,

like soccer or basketball or whatever was popular at a time. When I was 17, I started practicing martial arts, more specifically boxing.

I trained boxing for about 2-3 years in local Boxing club Sesvete up until I injured my fist.

After the injury, I switched to MMA, I trained MMA for about a year, focusing mainly on grappling and jiu-jitsu because of my fist injury.

I injured some kind of tendon right here or something like that.

All in all, I trained MMA in local Ultimate Fight Club Piranha until I was 21 or 22 and then I founded my own club,

Sport and Recreation Club Gabudizator. At the same time I was training under Bernard Ban, an expert in MMA,

an excellent ex-wrestler that won multiple championships in former Yugoslavia in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.

I learned a lot under him and basically did all of training for my first competition under him.

The first competition came when I was 24. Obviously I started to compete quite late in my life,

mostly because of some kind of psychological barriers in my mind that I managed to overcome when I hit 24.

I became more confident and started believing that I could achieve some results in sport.

That was when I won my first gold medal. Here it is, I hope you can read it, it says: "Open Croatian Championship in MMA for Amateurs".

MMA for amateurs, equipment includes head gear and shin guards. I had 3 fights, won all three by stoppage.

The first fight ended by TKO, the second one by referee stoppage for technical superiority over the opponent.

After some 10 or 12 point difference the referee decided to stop the match because there wasn't much sense in continuing with it.

And the final match I won by another TKO ( gnp ). That's how I won my first gold.

The first match was a hard one and is basically the main reason I ended up in wrestling

because my opponent was a strong wrestler that managed to control me on the ground for nearly the entire match.

I somehow managed to make him appear passive so that the ref would lift us up,

he did just that some 15 seconds before the end of the match and then, almost immediately after the ref gave us a go, I knocked him out.

I will upload a video of this fight someday.

After this one, the 2nd and 3rd fights were a piece of cake. Well, the 1st fight was my first competitive match ever, so I was really nervous.

I don't know how I would end up if I lost that first fight because I trained really hard for that tournament.

I was preparing myself mentally for it for years, and trained hard for it for about 8 months.

Anyway, that's how it all started for me. The year after, I entered another MMA tournament for amateurs.

That was "NFC Cage Grappling and Amateur MMA" tournament. I won my second gold there after 3 fights in a 45 minute time-span.

I won the first fight by decision, I took my opponent down and controlled him for the entire match.

The 2nd fight I won by referee stoppage, TKO by ground n'pound.

The final fight I won by decision again. Once more, took my opponent to the ground and kept him there the entire match.

Once again, after my first fight with the wrestler I noticed that wrestling was my weak point and that it is a really important part for winning in MMA.

This is the reason I started wrestling. I started wrestling to improve in MMA but fell in love in it in the end after I saw that it's the hardest sport I ever trained…

and I trained many hard sports.

I decided to switch to wrestling and I don't know if I will ever go back to striking sports. Maybe I will.

I'd like to go back to MMA sometime but for now my reason tells me to stay in wrestling,

there's no head punches in it and a lot less injuries.

I've had my first wrestling competition within a year after I started practicing wrestling and ended up 5th in a national championship in Freestyle wrestling.

The next year, 2016, I reached the finals.

I won 2 fights, the 1st one by technical superiority and the 2nd one by pinning my opponent when the score was 12-3.

In the finals I lost against one of our most decorated wrestler, Tonimir Sokol, who is a multiple national champion in Greco-Roman wrestling.

A great wrestler, I'm really not disappointed that I lost to someone like him, he really is something when it comes to wrestling.

Well, I won the silver medal on that national championship in Freestyle wrestling and also got categorized.

I don't know if you can read this so I will read it out for you: "Decision on categorization of athlete Mario Gabud…

sport: wrestling…Wrestling team Sesvetski Kraljevec.

I failed to mention before, I train in a local Wrestling team Sesvetski Kraljevec.

I'm still on great terms with all the clubs I trained at that I mentioned earlier, I made a lot of friends there,

met some great people that I'm still good with regardless if we train together or not.

In all of those sports you can find plenty of great people that are ready to help you.

I try to help them with their problems if I can in any way.

All of it is really just another great side of training sports.

Anyway, I got categorized as a Category III top athlete: 2nd place at "2016 National Championship in Freestyle Wrestling",

weight class: 74 kg (163 lbs). As you can see I have to drop a lot of weight for competitions, usually I weigh about 80 kg (176 lbs).

I was even heavier before that competition, about 82 kg (180 lbs).

But losing weight isn't all that hard for me so it's not much of a problem.

I also got some scholarship with it…

This year I had another tournament, "Zagreb Championship". I won a bronze medal there after 4 matches.

I won the first three matches very early by technical superiority, all in the first minute of a match.

I lost the 4th match against a guy that trains wrestling for quite some time, the score was 2-0,

no one managed to get any points by takedowns or other moves but I got a penalty for being passive at a time.

All being said, I fell in love with wrestling and still keep at it.

My goal for now is to win the national championship in Freestyle wrestling.

That's my biggest wish currently and I will do whatever it takes to fulfill it.

I get a lot of help from my colleagues, from my coach Dinko Kremić and my friend Filip Šačić,

with whom I train regularly and who is really a big help to me.

Those two have thought me a lot about wrestling and sport generally. I met a lot of great guys in my Wrestling team aswell,

I have only great things to say about them, the same as in all my previous clubs/teams.

Here it is, I wanted to introduce myself some more to you, show my credentials and results.

I already told you about my education in my recent video, this was just an addition to it in order to introduce myself some more.

I won't talk about myself anymore, we'll keep recording workouts from now on, and all those things you ask us to show you.
