Why is the internet so SLOW on my Mac all of a sudden? - Duration: 3:14.
- So, you have slow internet.
Who do you blame?
Is it your Mac?
Is it your wireless router?
Is it your internet provider?
Is it solar flares?
Is it because your father never hugged you as a child?
I'm gonna show you some steps so you can prove
where the problem is, and then you'll know who to blame.
So, I'm gonna show you how to use
the process of elimination
in the most efficient way possible.
90% of the time the issue with your slow internet
will be either the website that you're on,
the web browser that you're using,
your wireless router, your internet service provider,
or other, solar flares.
In this video I'm gonna talk about the solution
to the first two and I'm gonna give you an option
to prove that it's the router
or the internet service provider, also called an ISP.
The solution for the router for the ISP and for solar flares
will be in part two, which will be a separate video.
Subscribe on YouTube to make sure you get that one
right when it comes out.
So, let's start off with
"Is it the website itself that is slow?"
Now, often people think that the internet is slow
but it's actually just that one website
that you're trying to access.
So try a different website.
If Microsoft.com was slow, head over to Apple.com,
click on some things, see if it loads quickly.
Does that resolve it?
Great, blame the website.
Is it still slow when you go to another website?
Now let's see if it's the browser app.
So, sometimes the slowness that you feel
is actually in the web browser that you're using,
like you're in Safari and you've got
a bunch of different tabs open,
then you wanna quit Safari and reopen it,
and see if it's faster.
Or you can just switch over to Chrome and try that.
You can see my other video about quitting apps.
If you're using Chrome now and everything seems fast,
great, blame the browser app.
Blame Safari.
Is the internet still slow when you try a new browser?
Try connecting your Mac to your iPhone
using Personal Hotspot.
Now this is assuming that your phone has LTE
or 4G or something better.
This is creating a WiFi network using your iPhone,
and this is a fantastic way to troubleshoot
because it'll be very fast to connect
but it's also amazing because you can do this
Personal Hotspot anywhere
when you have your Mac and your iPhone.
So, to do this you go into Settings on the phone,
Personal Hotspot, and turn it on,
and then set a reasonable but secure WiFi password.
Then on your Mac you go under the WiFi menu
on the top right, and then you look in your list
to see the name of your iPhone here.
You click on that and then wait a second or two
until you see the interlinked symbols
that you know you're actually connected to the Hotspot.
Is the internet nice and fast
when you try going to a website?
Great, now you know you can blame your router
or your internet service provider, or both.
I'll cover how you'll figure out
which one of them it is in part two.
Stay tuned.
If you want someone patient and helpful
who speaks your language to come to you
and take all your Mac challenges off your mind,
head to macinhome.com.
(beeping)
(laughs) Is it because your father never hugged you?
(crew laughing)
Oh my god.
All right.

Three Years Down: Modi's Scorecard So Far - Duration: 2:20.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will mark
his third anniversary in office on Friday.
Time to take stock of his progress.
To put it bluntly, Modi has done well.
Not great, but well.
Some of his notable wins include passage of
the Goods and Service Tax, which I consider
one of the most import reforms in India's history.
It will unify the country under a single tax code, give the government a clearer idea
of what's happening in India's economy, help formalize more of the informal economy, and
boost revenues supporting the country's fiscal health.
Modi also gets high marks for introducing a new bankruptcy law, giving the Reserve Bank of India
more power to tackle inflation, moving India towards using digital payments rather
than cash, and upgrading the country's infrastructure.
This is a critically important point: India now
spends more on infrastructure than on defense.
That's rare in the world today.
There are areas where he's made less progress.
Reform of the way land is bought and sold,
changes to labor law to make them more business friendly, opening the country's capital markets,
and helping more people gain access to electricity.
There's still a lot to do in all these important, yet occasionally controversial areas.
Modi, like all leaders, has his critics.
Some say he has fallen short of expectations.
But that's the key word here: expectations.
I think that after his election in 2014, there was exuberance not grounded in reality.
He still faces an (often uncooperative) legislature and a demanding domestic audience that cares
more about daily necessities than long term investment.
Given that, Modi has accomplished a lot in just three years
on reforms that will improve India's economy.

Moore's Law Is Ending... So, What's Next? - Duration: 4:21.
Remember when cellphones looked like this?
You could call, text, maybe play snake on it … and it had about 6 megabytes of memory,
which was a small miracle at the time.
Then, phones got faster and around every two years, you probably upgraded your phone from
8 gigs to 16 to 32 and so on and so forth.
This incremental technological progress we've all been participating in for years hinges
on one key trend, called Moore's Law.
Co-founder of Intel, Gordon Moore made a prediction in 1965 that integrated circuits, or chips,
were the path to cheaper electronics.
Moore's law states that the number of transistors, the tiny switches that control the flow of
an electrical current that can fit in an integrated circuit, will double every two years, while
the cost will halve.
Chip power goes up as cost goes down.
That exponential growth has brought massive advances in computing power… hence tiny
computers in our pockets!
A single chip today can contain billions of transistors, and each transistor is about
14 nanometres across!
That's smaller than most human viruses!
Now, Moore's law isn't a law of physics, it's just a good hunch that's driven companies
to make better chips.
But experts are claiming that this trend is slowing down.
Granddaddy chip maker Intel recently disclosed that it's becoming more difficult to roll
out smaller transistors in a two year timeframe while also being affordable.
So, to power the next wave of electronics, there are a few promising options in the works.
One is quantum computing.
Another currently in the lab stage is neuromorphic computing, which are computer chips that are
modeled after our own brains!
They're basically capable of learning and remembering all at the same time at an incredibly
fast clip.
Let's break that down and start with the human brain.
So, your brain has billions of neurons, each of which forms synapses or connections with
other neurons.
Synaptic activity relies on ion channels, which control the flow of charged atoms like
sodium and calcium that make your brain function and process properly.
So, a neuromorphic chip copies that model by relying on a densely connected web of transistors
that mimic the activity of ion channels.
Each chip has a network of cores, with inputs and outputs that are wired to additional cores,
which all operate in conjunction with each other.
Because of this connectivity, neuromorphic chips are able to integrate memory, computation,
and communication all together.
These chips are an entirely new computational design.
Standard chips today are built based on von Neumann architecture... where the processor
and memory are separate and the data moves between them.
A central processing unit runs commands that are fetched from memory to execute tasks.
This is what's made computers very good at computing, but not as efficiently as they
could be.
Neuromorphic chips however completely change that model by having both storage and processing
connected within these "neurons" that are all communicating and learning together.
The hope is that these neuromorphic chips could transform computers from general purpose
calculators into machines that can learn from experience and make decisions.
We'd leap to a future where computers wouldn't just be able to crunch data at break neck
speeds but could do that AND process sensory data in real time.
Some future applications of neuromorphic chips might include combat robots that could decide
how to act in the field, drones that could detect changes in the environment, and your
car taking you to a drive through for ice cream after being dumped… basically these
chips could power our future robot overlords.
We don't have machines with sophisticated, brain-like chips yet but they're on the
horizon.
So get ready for a whole new meaning for the term "brain power."
But we have something less frightening than AI to share with you... did you know we have
a sister channel called Seeker VR?
It's everything you love about Seeker, but in 360 degrees!
SeekerVR will take you on some incredible journeys that you probably wouldn't get
to experience otherwise.

WATCH Angela Merkel Mocks Trump's Wall, So He Makes Her IMMEDIATELY Regret It - Duration: 13:08.
WATCH Angela Merkel Mocks Trump's Wall, So He Makes Her IMMEDIATELY Regret It
Everyone on the Left is climbing over each other to see who can talk badly about Trump
more.
The Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, is the newest member of the club.
The Chancellor mocked Trump's new wall on multiple occasions.
President Trump decided he was going to fire back in an EPIC way by subtly making a bold
comment about the new headquarters that NATO finished building.
He said that it was a beautiful building, but he never once asked how much it cost.
It all started when Merkel made the remark that it is not the "building of walls that
makes us successful."
Her claim was that by building a wall, we are shutting everyone out and guaranteeing
our failure.
She clearly does not understand the importance of the wall that Trump wants to build.
We NEED this wall to ensure the safety of our country from various threats.
First, we are ALL facing the issue of terrorism across the globe.
We have watched them attack various countries, including our own, at a quickly growing rate.
If we are not willing to stop these guys, they are going to keep coming here and killing
innocent people.
The Islamic State carried out two attacks in England and the Philippines this week alone!
It is safe to bet that they have big plans for us.
We need to do EVERYTHING in our power to stop them, and a wall will help with that issue.
All Merkel sees is an attempt to shut people out.
How can she be so blind?
Terrorism is just the start of our problems.
We also have to deal with the fact that illegals are entering our country at an ALARMING rate.
It is MANDATORY that we get them under control or we are going to be in a position far worse
than we are now.
President Trump is working hard to make sure that we get the terrorists and illegals out
of our country.
We are now deporting around 400 people a day, which means we are at least now getting them
out quicker than they are coming in.
If you want to get here legally, there is an easy process that will allow you to come
here.
You cannot cross the border then get upset when we throw you back out.
A wall would stop people from coming in by the thousands.
Once the wall is built, open areas can get security points and we can start taking our
country back one illegal at a time.
All of this reasoning seems SO simple.
It is almost as if Merkel is using her hatred of Trump to blind her from straightforward
and obvious truths.
If she sat and pondered this information for just a few minutes, she would come to the
conclusion that both terrorists and illegals need SOMETHING in place to prevent them from
crossing borders — and that a wall isn't just to keep people out, it's to keep the
patriots INSIDE our country safe!
If wanting to protect our families from the dangers outside of our country is wrong, we're
more than happy to be "wrong."
We are not going to idly sit back and watch OUR country get dominated the way Merkel did
with hers.
Do YOU think Merkel regretted her statement after Trump crushed her?

Hillary Clinton Calls for Trump's Impeachment, Immediately Gets Smacked with BRUTAL Dose
of Reality [VIDEO]
During her commencement address at Wellesley College, Hillary Clinton incorrectly claimed
that Richard Nixon was impeached, forgetting the only two presidents to be impeached were
Andrew Johnson and her husband, Bill Clinton.
Clinton made an implicit comparison of President Donald Trump to former president Richard Nixon
during her speech, claiming that Nixon was "a man whose presidency would eventually
end in disgrace with his impeachment for obstruction of justice."
Of course, her intention was to suggest Trump could be impeached for allegedly impeding
the Russia campaign, and her statement led to wild cheers from the crowd and was repeated
by news anchors for hours afterward.
There was just one small problem with her statement though.
Nixon was never impeached.
He chose to resign from office before he could be impeached.
In fact, Clinton should remember this, as her own husband, Bill Clinton, was one of
just two presidents to ever be formally impeached.

Right After Landed In Washington, D.C. Ivanka Posted THIS Lovely Video…
Over 1,000,000 Have Already Watched
Ivanka Trump is back at home in Washington, D.C. after she and her husband Jared Kushner
joined her father on part of his first international tour as president, and the mother-of-three
couldn't be happier to be back with her children.
The 35-year-old assistant to the president took to Instagram on Friday morning to share
a heartwarming video of her one-year-old son Theodore gleefully walking after the little
boy took his first steps just a week ago.
'It's hard to be away… especially when this little dude is waiting for you at home!
It's good to be back!' she captioned the footage, which sees her youngest child stumbling
throughout the house.
In the adorable clip, Theodore has his arms out as he happily chases after his mom, moving
as quickly as his little legs will take him.
Ivanka and Jared, 36, returned home on Thursday after their whirlwind trips to Saudi Arabia,
Israel, and Italy.
During their six-day trip with the president, Ivanka and Jared joined Trump and his wife
Melania at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, the holiest prayer site in Judaism, and went
with them to meet Pope Francis at the Vatican.
Ivanka also spoke about empowering women in Saudi Arabia, and after meeting the pope,
she spoke with victims of human trafficking while hosting a roundtable with members of
the Community of Sant'Egidio, a social justice-oriented anti-poverty group affiliated with the Catholic
Church.
BREAKING!
ICE Agents Gives NASTY Surprise To 200 Illegals, Media SILENT!
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted widespread raids throughout the
greater Los Angeles area – 90 percent of those taken into custody had prior criminal
convictions.
A five-day operation conducted by ICE – targeting at-large criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants,
and immigration fugitives – concluded on Wednesday with the arrests of 188 foreign
nationals with 90 percent having prior criminal convictions, according to a statement from
ICE.
The prior criminal convictions of those arrested are:
Drug Offenses – 43 DUI – 30
Domestic Violence – 27 Sex Crimes – 15
Battery – 12 Weapons Violations – 7
Assault – 6 Burglary – 5
Fraud – 3 Vehicle Theft – 2
Arson – 2 Illegal Re-entry; Illegal Entry – 3
Cruelty to a Child – 2 Robbery – 2
Obstructing Justice – 2 Incest – 1

David Marin, field office director for Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Los Angeles,
said that operations like this are executed to keep communities in the U.S. safe by removing
those who pose a threat.
"Operations like this are emblematic of the vital work ICE Enforcement and Removal
Operations officers do every day seeking to locate, arrest, and ultimately deport at-large
convicted criminals and other immigration fugitives who pose a threat to public safety,"
Marin said.
"By taking these individuals off the streets and removing them from the country, we're
making our communities safer for everyone."
Those arrested – 177 men and 11 women – are from a combined 11 countries, with the majority
from south of the U.S.-Mexico Border:
Mexico – 146 El Salvador – 13
Guatemala – 12 Honduras – 5
Armenia – 5 Russia – 5
Thailand – 1 Vietnam – 1
Philippines – 1 "Yugoslavia" – 1
Cambodia – 1
ICE indicated that at least eight of the individuals arrested are now facing federal prosecution
for illegally re-entering the U.S. after prior deportation – a felony punishable by up
to 20 years in prison.
Those who are not undergoing criminal prosecution will be processed for deportation, while others
who have outstanding orders of removal or illegally returned to the U.S. will be subject
to immediate returns home.
California is one of only four states to be considered a "sanctuary state", according
to the Center for Immigration Studies which bases its assessments off of reports from
ICE.
The arrests took place in the following counties:
Los Angeles – 93 Riverside – 26
Orange – 23 San Bernardino – 21
Ventura – 14 Santa Barbara – 11
Breitbart Texas reported on May 17 that current figures from ICE show a 37.6 percent increase
in the arrests of illegal aliens in the first 100 days of an enacted executive order signed
by President Donald Trump on January 22.
During the 100-day period, 30,473 0f the total 41,318 illegal aliens arrested had prior criminal
convictions, which represents a 20 increase in the total number of criminal illegal aliens
arrested during the same period in 2016.
BREAKING Comey Exposed For TREASONOUS Crime Against Americans.
Lock Him Up!
The deep state has been violating the rights of our fellow Americans for too long.
Their crimes are finally starting to come to light.
Former FBI Director James Comey is in trouble.
According to declassified information, during Comey's tenure, the FBI shared intelligence
data gathered through law enforcement surveillance ON AMERICANS with third parties.
That is an unconstitutional and flagrant abuse of government power.
Thank goodness Trump fired James Comey.
How did Comey not notice this sort of abuse?
Our law enforcement should not be selling or sharing our data with private citizens.
The deep state should be panicking.
We cannot allow our law enforcement agencies to share information — our private information
— with third parties.
It is already bad enough that companies sell our data to other people, but now, even the
government is doing it.
This all goes back to Obama.
If Obama had held these agencies accountable, we wouldn't have had such an abuse of power,
but it is obvious that Obama enjoyed gathering data from innocent Americans.
The mainstream media isn't covering this new report.
They don't care that Fourth Amendment privacy rights are getting trampled.
They would rather report on their conspiracy theories and anti-Trump nonsense.
The biased media has lost all of its credibility.
They covered the Manchester attack for about an hour before shifting back to their anti-Trump
rhetoric.
The media and the radical Left hate to acknowledge radical Islam, which is why we are living
in this surveillance state.
Because of radical Islam, our data is being collected and shared.
We wouldn't have such issues with radical Islam if we strengthened our borders and increased
our vetting, but the Left doesn't want that.
The Left would rather see more terrorist attacks, which would in turn cause more surveillance.
At this point, Americans have just come to accept the fact that our data is constantly
being collected and our privacy is constantly being violated.
At least Trump is going to fire the deep state and push back against radical Islam.
If those two things happen, then the government won't have much of a reason to spy on us
anymore.
How is it that the radical Left isn't worried about their privacy?
The Left doesn't care about basic human rights.
It only cares about those rights when it can use them to its benefit.
The deep state knows that the Left won't care if they collect our data without the
required legal process.
James Comey is just the beginning.
Trump is going to clean house.
The deep state should be panicking right now, because their jobs are on the line.
The American people don't want to get spied on.
We deserve a government that respects our rights.
What do you think about this declassified report?
