It's a bit strange, don't you think ?

A stalker

What are you using as a fan ?

With an AKB hand fan

Wait, they're coming in without knocking ?

I hear that we have the same voice

I realized it

when I was in the bathroom

No, don't move backwards

If you're not there, we don't undestand why I'm filming cars

Go Ocha !

But you said Ocha !

But it is good !

I agree, pepper doesn't taste good, right ?

Me, I love pepper

Yeah, me too, but especially marinated

It's good, on pizzas

It's so good marinated

Oh yes ! It's even better

No, it's good, that's all

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say

Marinated with mozzarella

Rare tastes good

Yes !

It makes...look...

Oh, you're filming !

Ah~... Beurk !

You're eating...

You're horrible

It's...

I think they talked about eating...

I have...

Me too

We're so happy to hear it

Why do we talk about stupid stuff

every time while doing the making of ?

Agreed !

They pretend like

it's tidy

But in reality,

that's what's in the corridor normally !

All that !

Every time that happens to me, I mean,

I start taking a color in here and

I don't remember which one it was

Why do you keep the lemon in your mouth while you do that ?

Because lemon tastes good

I became a cat !

When do we eat it ?

We wait for everybody to have one, right ?

Komi~!

Hum...

That way, in all the videos,

I'm gonna be like

"So cute", "lost",

And during all the making of :

Next !

Test

A ghost !

We're gonna call them the two wigs

If you don't behave, I'll go get the hair clipper !

(Did we behave ?)

(No, not really)

I'm a tuna ! Haha !

Wait, I'm gonna attach it onto someone

And there, otherwise, we drop the green background

and we see this

Waaaa ! Awesome !

Was there another one ?

Yeaaaaah !

It's so hard to catch it on camera...

I see nothing...

Are you in night mode ?

Oh yeah...

It's true, if you're in night mode...

It's what I was saying !

I'm doing a close-up on you, Daddy

They recorded without me !

They didn't wake me up !

Kyuuri, during her close-up,

the background fell behind her !

Oh yes, that's what I'm gonna do

(I'll continue anyway)

(Yeah, me too)

(Yes, the same)

(Did something happen ?)

(I didn't see anything)

(What ?)

(When what ?)

(Hit ?)

Light rain put the brakes on hot temps - Duration: 2:36.

We are expecting some much needed rainfall today...

5 to 20 millimeters of precipitation is in store from late afternoon until tomorrow in

the central regions while southern regions will see showers from tonight...

Today's rain will put the brakes on the unseasonably hot temperatures we've been dealing with lately.

Daily highs will be about what we would normally have at this time year and hopefully ease

the dryness in the air as a dry weather advisory has been in place in the capital since last

Saturday .

Checking on today's morning lows, Seoul and Jeju saw lows of 17 degrees Celsius while

Daegu Gwangju and Busan had a low of 16 degrees.

As for today's cooler highs, we'll see 24 degrees in Seoul while Daegu will have a high

of 28 degrees under partly sunny skies today as Gyeongsang-do Provinces and Daegu will

see rain on Wednesday.

Today's light rainfall will linger until the early hours of tomorrow,... but after the

rain lets up, temperatures will jump right back to the upper twenties.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the globe.

INDEPENDENT LENS | They Call Us Monsters | Jarad's Victim Speaks | PBS - Duration: 2:51.

As the four of them sat in their car,

a white truck pulled up in the opposing lane.

The front passenger pulled out a gun,

looked at Miss Suarez, and said,

"You're gonna die today, bitch."

Yesenia: He just starts shooting.

My sister just goes on top of me,

but, unfortunately, I had already got shot.

The bullet, like, 'cause it hit my lung first,

so I was out of breath, so I couldn't talk.

Attorney: Miss Suarez drove down Orange Grove.

The passenger of the white truck kept firing.

Miss Suarez' vehicle was struck several times.

She heard Marlene Castro in the back seat, yelling,

"Yesenia's not breathing."

It was just pain in my back. I mean, burning pretty much.

And everything was just going in circles.

I was losing my eyesight.

Like, I felt like I was gonna die already.

I was just in a coma for a week.

I could just hear people, like, crying, praying for me.

Everybody would tell me, like, "You're not gonna die.

You're OK,"

but I felt like I was already dead.

And when I woke up--back up, I knew I was already paralyzed.

I mean, I didn't need nobody to tell me. I mean, I knew.

I just wanted to hear it, you know?

I mean, I feel like it's not fair, like,

how people treat you, how they feel like you're less

or...it's just--it's difficult.

Like, you're just like them.

I mean, you're not special or anything.

I mean, I'm, like--I'm normal.

It's just, I just can't walk. That's it.

I feel so much anger towards the guys that did this to me.

When they arrested him, I felt relieved.

I mean, I don't want him to, like, be dead, or anything,

you know?

I just want him to pay a price, like, for what he did.

So...

I mean, I don't want him to stay there for the rest of his life,

right?

Probably, like...like 50 years. I don't know.

Jarad: We chose the way we lived.

Like, if we didn't do the crime that we're accused of

or we did,

it's still that was the lifestyle we were around

and that we chose.

Can only get away with things for so long.

Rachael on scientific testing 1 - Duration: 3:17.

I've really pioneered the field of

inducing telomerase topically. So when we

were launching our first product, One

Truth 818 serum, I had to

go to extensive measures to test how it worked.

So we sent it to Abich Laboratories in

Italy completely independently and we

waited for about ten weeks before we

got an email saying that the results

were ready and then we had to wait for

them to come in the mail. So it was

a real, gosh, an exercise in patience,

but it really took our breath away when

we did get those results. Now we didn't

want anybody to be able to refute the

results that we were getting, so when I

first approached them I said I'd like to

use 100 volunteers, thanks. And they had

never ever even been asked to do that. So

it took them a while to come back to me

to say could they actually even put

together 100 volunteers. So no other

science lab or cosmetic company had

asked for those results, but me being the

nerd that I am when I go through

magazines and look at ads, I always read

the fine print. And if you start looking

at the fine print on the bottom I'm not

impressed when it says our night cream

was used by 14 women for 10 days and 87%

of them felt it looked nicer. I'm not

impressed by that because all you need

to do is find a few women who've never

put a cream on their face in their life

and it will feel more moisturized and

yes it will feel great. Also I know

that a lot of creams out there that are

doing long-term damage to your skin can

make them feel better while you're using

them. So I was always very unimpressed

and convinced by those results and I didn't

want my product to have that kind of

testing behind it. So we recruited

doctors like I said we've got a hundred

volunteers and the results are measured

by two different types of machines to

give us the results on the decrease of

wrinkles. So we've broken it up too, so you

can see the decrease of wrinkles across

the forehead and on the crows line,

the crow's feet area. So they've

broken up there as well.

We've got before-and-after shots that

are done by medical equipment and again

doctors who measured

that. I had nothing to do with that

testing and it is so comprehensive that like

I said it is the most extensive body of

research that's been done towards

topical telomerase induction. So when I tell

you how much your wrinkles are

going to be decreased by, that's come

straight from a doctor who has tested my

product. Now there is for example, Retin-

A, though have some pretty impressive

results too, it'll say your wrinkles were

decreased by X amount but they're doing

it essentially by taking away all the

top layers of your skin. So if you're

moving fast enough the freshest skin

hasn't had time to form that deep

wrinkle yet. So the results do sound very

impressive but like I said I want you to

really stay away from anything that is

increasing that cellular turnover. Yes in

the short term you'll look fantastic but

I really want you to start thinking a

little bit more long term here and if

you can achieve the same result with

something at just looking after the

health of your skin and looking after

you long term then why wouldn't you.

SynthEdit 1.2 Tutorial 10 - Tempo Sync LFO - Duration: 9:46.

Now that we've created an LFO for our synth, the next step is to sync that LFO to the tempo.

In this video, we'll go over how to get the LFO synced up with your host's tempo,

so that you can choose it's speed based on note values, instead of using a slider.

Syncing the LFO to the Tempo is a common feature found in a synth, and it's not too complicated

to set up, once you understand what needs to be done to get it working.

The first thing we need to do, is select the oscillator inside the LFO.

The Oscillator will generate a wave, with the pitch being determined by the voltage

passed into it's Pitch plug.

Currently, it will respond at one volt per octave, meaning for every volt you pass in,

the pitch will rise by one octave.

This wont work for what we're trying to do.

What we want is for the oscillator to respond in Kilohertz, In other words, one volt passed

into the oscillator is equal to 1 kilohertz, or 1000 hertz.

We can change the way the Oscillator responds, by setting Frequency Scale to 1 volt/Kilohertz.

Now, since we're going to be syncing this LFO with the tempo, we're not going to need

this rate slider anymore.

I'm not going to delete it though, I'll just disconnect the patch cord between it

and the oscillator's pitch plug.

Let me make a little more room inside the LFO container.

OK, now let's add another container, inside of the LFO's container.

I'll name this new container, Tempo Sync.

Go ahead and open the Tempo Sync Container.

Since there's no need for any inputs to the Tempo Sync module, I'll move the IO

Mod to the right side of the container.

To sync the LFO with the host projects Tempo, we need a way to reference the tempo of the

project.

We can do this with the BPM Tempo module, located under Special.

I'll add the BPM Tempo module to the Tempo Sync container.

The BPM Tempo module provides the Beats per minute in volts, and the default value is

120 beats per minute, which means it will currently send 120 volts out.

If we opened this plugin inside a DAW, it would automatically grab the tempo, and begin

sending the appropriate amount of voltage.

We need to convert this BPM value to a frequency, measured in kilohertz.

If we were to divide the BPM by 60, we could get the number of beats per second.

So, I'll add a Divide module, from under the Math category.

For input 1, I'll send in the value we're getting from the BPM Tempo Module.

Now, Beats Per Second is equal to the frequency we're looking for, only it's in hertz,

instead of kilohertz.

So, if we divide by 60 to get the frequency in hertz, we can divide by 60,000 to get the

frequency in Kilohertz.

We can do this by adding a Fixed Value module, which you can find under the Controls category.

Connect the Spare Value plug to the input 2 plug on the Divide module.

If you have the Spare Value module selected when you connect it's plug, it doesn't

update the properties over here.

So, select another module, and then reselect the Spare Values module, and we can update

the value in the properties area.

I'll set the name and value to 60000.

At this point, we can hook the output of the Divide module up to the LFO's pitch plug,

and the modulation will be synced to the length of 1 bar, or 4 beats.

To show you that, I'll connect the output of the Divide module to the IO mod, and then

connect the output on the Tempo Sync module to the LFO's pitch plug.

Also, I'll turn the LFO's depth up a bit, so that we can hear the result a little better.

If I play a note, the LFO is synced to the tempo, completing one cycle over the course

of 1 bar.

This is fine, but if we could only sync to a period of 1 bar, that would be pretty limiting.

I'd like to be able to sync the LFO's cycle to 1 bar, or one whole note, as well

as to a half note, quarter note, eighth note, or a sixteenth note.

To do this, we'll multiply 60000 to change it's value to what we need.

Remember, dividing the bpm by 60000 gives us the frequency of one bar, so if we wanted

a half bar, we could multiply the BPM by half of 60000.

We could get a quarter bar by dividing by one quarter of 60000, and so on.

First, let's add a Multiply module to the Tempo Sync module.

Hook up the plug from 60000 to input 1 on the multiply module, and do this without disconnecting

the original patch cord.

If you disconnect a fixed value plug, the value is lost, and you'll have to re-enter

it's name and value when you reconnect it.

So, connect it to the multiply module first, and then delete the patch cord between 60000

and the divide module.

Next, we need to be able to choose what value to multiply 60000 by, to get the corresponding

frequency that we want.

To do that, we're going to use a switch.

Under Flow Control, select Switch, Many to One.

This will let us take multiple inputs, and switch them between a single output.

Go ahead and hook the output of the switch up to input 2 on the Multiply module.

Then, we need to pass in some values into the switch.

So, I'll add another Fixed Values module,

and I'll connect the Spare Value plug to

the Spare input plug on the Switch, 5 times all together.

First, let's rename the plugs on the Fixed Inputs module to represent the note duration.

So, first will be one,

then one half,

one quarter,

one eighth,

and one sixteenth.

Let's do the same thing with names of the plugs on the Switch, as well.

One,

one half,

one quarter,

one eighth,

and one sixteenth.

OK.

Now, we need to set the values for each of these options.

To get a one bar cycle, we need to divide by a value of 60000, so we'll multiply 60000

by 1.

For each successive option, we just need to cut this value in half.

So, to get a half note cycle, we need to multiply 60000 by 0.5.

Then, we want to get a quarter note cycle, so half of 0.5 is 0.25.

For an 8th note, we half the value again, giving us 0.125.

Finally, for a 16th note, we use half of 0.125, which is 0.0625.

Everything should work, but we need a way to choose the note duration we want to sync

the LFO to.

For that, we'll use a List Entry Module, from the Controls category.

Hook up the Choice plug from the List Entry module to the Choice plug on the Switch.

Finally, go to the LFO container, and select the Tempo Sync module.

In the properties window check the box next to Controls on Module.

That will show the choice box on the Tempo Sync module.

Now, we can choose what duration we want to sync the LFO's cycle to.

We can test out each option.

Here's a whole note,

half note,

quarter note,

8th note,

and sixteenth note.

I'll set the synth's polyphony to 1, and the tempo sync to 8th notes.

By syncing the LFO to the tempo, the modulation will fit with the track you're playing on

better, syncing up with the pulses of the beat.

This would be even better if we could choose whether we want to sync it to the tempo,

or to choose your own rate with a slider.

We'll talk about how to route signals like this in a future video, but you've already

seen the basic principal behind it in this example.

Thanks for watching.

That's How You Learn: Episode 4 - Engineering Challenge - Duration: 7:32.

Hello friends! It's Dennis again.

Now I'm here at UL in Northbrook, and we have an

extra special episode of That's How You Learn

because today we'll have our first ever Engineering Challenge

Today was "bring your child to work day" at UL,

and we had over 200 kids come in and help us

build a bridge for a marble,

using nothing but masking tape, imagination, and some coardboard.

So do you want to take a look at what they did?

Let's go check it out.

Welcome, welcome, welcome.

This is our first group. Everybody here 8th graders, correct?

6th, 7th and 8th graders.

Oh, 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Alright we have a

really fun activity planned, hopefully you

guys can help us out with it.

Now, anybody know what an engineer is or does?

Anybody? Yes...what does an engineer do? - Just make sure stuff is safe.

Yes! Make sure stuff is safe, make sure stuff works,

come up with ideas and a lot of

times it's wondering how stuff works and

making something bigger out of it.

What we're going to do, is we're going to

build a bridge. However, the only

materials we have are that cardboard,

some scissors, and tape. So, as a group,

do you think, within the next 30 minutes, we can

make a bridge for this marble to go from

one side of the room by the table here,

all the way to that table. What do you think?

Can we do it? Alright alright let's go figure this out.

This is Patrick, he's going to be one of our

helpers today, and this is Deepa.

So...uh, Patrick if you can...

How about we start on this end and

let's move our way that way, like they do in

do in real-life bridges.

...Dr. Dennis for all of you. - Ha! I'm Dr. Dennis,

this is Dr. Deepa, and in the back over there

you see Dr. Patrick. Here we are in the

materials lab, or just outside of the

materials lab, and what we're going to do

today is we're going to learn a little

bit about civil engineering.

Now, civil engineers are the kinds of people who

build and help maintain and design the

structures for roads, for tunnels, for dams,

for highways, and also - very very popular -

for bridges.

As a scientist here at UL, we try all

kinds of things and one of the things I do

is play with marbles.

However, I lose my marbles all the time.

These are all things that engineers do every single day,

You know? They face challenges, but they

try to figure out what they need to do

to solve those challenges and that's

exactly what we're doing right now.

Engineering's just solving problems, right? - Yeah. Fun problems.

We are a group of engineers here so we're

going to have to talk, and we're going to

have to communicate, but at the same time

we're gonna have a lot of fun, okay?

Everybody ready? Oh that didn't sound

like you're ready. Patrick did that sound

like they were ready? Deepa? Yeah I didn't think so.

Alright, I do'n think we should do this. Just try it one more time:

Group E, are you guys ready?

Alright let's go! Let's get to work!

So this is what we did in the UL lab today.

We built a bridge made entirely of

cardboard and masking tape, all made for a marble.

And the marble traveled from

one side, over the course of 43 feet

and landed successfully in a cup,

and it took seven seconds to do so.

This was one of the most fun projects we have

ever done and the kids who volunteered

loved it as well. It was relatively

inexpensive to do, and it was just a

great time putting it all together.

So, I challenge you to do something like this

build a bridge for marble or do some

kind of engineering challenge for your student.

Minimalist Leather Holsters - A Quick view - Duration: 0:59.

The Most MINIMALIST holsters YOU will ever see! The Outsider and the Kusiak IWB Holster.

My Glock43 IS Unloaded... pew pew

Let me Straighten things out ;)

Inserting the Glock43 into This OUTSIDER holster, it nicely goes in.

the imprint and sturdiness of the leather is so spiffy ...

Space for the INDEX finger SO IMPORTANT. COMFORTABLE to GRAB the pistol's GRIP and draw.

EASY to insert that belt through with two BELT Loops (molded)

A WELL MADE holster, at first WILL be a little Tight !

Insert IT in and out a few time so it breaks in. Gun should not fall out of holster when upside down.

The Kusiak IWB... lets try it. The slide was pushed back a little, so I put my hand behind the slide.

Reinforced. No extra leather around, Just the right design...

The CLIP is nicely snug. Holster WILL STAY IN WAIST after drawing pistol.

little tight to take it out, after wearing it for a day or so it will break in.

and a little tight here again until it breaks in. Ill post another video once its broken in... XOXO PEWPEW

Bionic Athletes Are the Future of Humanity - Duration: 3:43.

Technology for performance.

So a few awesome things happening.

The concept for the bionic boot

came around when I was twelve

years old watching a natural

history program on kangaroos

and look at their mechanical

principles in terms of leverage

and elastic energy storage.

So a normal human walks at around

4 miles an hour, jogs about 8.

A marathon runner runs at

about 14-15 miles an hour,

I can reach up to 20-25

miles an hour.

I'm trying to push the

capabilities further, possibly

to 40-45 miles an hour.

The athlete of the future looks

like somebody who has a deep

understanding of their body

and how their body performs in

competition. How their body

performs in training,

And how to optimize it,

get the most out of training to

make sure that they are the best

on game day.

You look at the long history of

humans like we've always been

participating in our own

evolution towards,

to being a better species,

but we do more

in the next decade than

we've done the last 100 years.
