Hello, everyone SpectreKoix here.

Or, well Letheis. I changed my name if you hadn't noticed

The point is I used to be Spectre

and now I'm not and really if you read the title of this video you probably have some vague idea of what I'll be talking about

The future of this channel! Do you know what is? Cause I don't!

The thing is you may have noticed that in recent months

I've been uploading less and less and the reason why is, in part, because there have been a lot of things going on in my life

But it's mostly because I've kind of... died.

What's the English term? I don't know I've gotten stuck. Like I don't draw digitally

as much as I used to for... no real reason, but I can't really record traditional art

I don't have the tools for that. Aside from that

I've just pretty much stopped recording my drawings altogether, but I don't want to delete this channel. What do I do?

I don't want to stop making videos completely, so I've been thinking of going a different direction with this channel right now

I'm not sure

What direction that will be I've been thinking of getting into animation again, and I'd really like that

But I'm just not in the right head space to do that at the moment

You know those animated storytellers like theOdd1sOut, Jaiden Animations, Domics etc.? That could be fun

I have only one problem. My life is incredibly boring

But animation in general, I want to get back at that again, preferably soon!

I also briefly considered making more personal videos like stuff about transitioning

And so on so forth. I thought it might be interesting to give people some perspective into what the cis-tem is like a Denmark

Also hey! A-An update on that? I'll be applying to have my name and gender marker changed the moment I turn 18 in...

for real, getting approved for HRT in Denmark is fucking hard you have to go through Sexological Clinic

Of which there is only one in the entire country. In the capital. Which is a three-hour drive away from my home town

But you have to go there to get assessed for whether or not you're "trans enough" to go on hormones and have surgery and so on

and so forth

but to get back to the topic at hand,

I want to get back into streaming too. Be that art streams or video games.

Because that's something that I really miss. If any of the old-timers are still here,

You'll recall that I used to stream almost every weekend, and I miss y'all.

That's really all I had to say. If that sounded scripted as fuck its because it was.

It's like 100% scripted because I know that if I don't script it, I'll be rambling for

Hey guys, so its been a while since I posted a video

Ive been so busy with work and family stuff

I just, honestly haven't had time to do videos.

I have, I've just been busy

The desire is still there to make videos, to do things

But those videos take a long time to make, a long time to edit, a long time to post and make sure that all happens

And Ijust don't have the time that I used to...

to do all that stuff

But, its been a while and I have been thinking how I can manage my time a little better

And things have been going good

so the direction I'm going to take things,

I think I'm going to get into more of a Podcast Videocast. type of channel.

Do some interviews with some people who do some cool things that I know.

Go to some places, Do some things that you guys might like, hopefully you will like.

But what Iwant you guys to do is in the comments below, I want you guys to

comment on things that you guys want to see.

Things that you've enjoyed on other channels

Things that you think would be fun.

Things that are entertaining,

Things that maybe you don't get a chance to do but you would like to see somebody do, or you'd like to watch.

Trying MALAYSIAN famous food- ROJAK & CENDOL | Food and Travel Channel | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Duration: 10:59.

Hi I'm Thomas and I'm Sheena and we're Chasing a Plate, today we're in Kuala

Lumpur, Malaysia and we're going to try two Malaysian favourites first rojak and

second cendol. We are super excited to try this Malaysian salad and this

Malaysian dessert, bring it on. Let's eat!

We're trying Indian rojak

today, as I said before rojak is a type of salad now when people say I'm going to

order a salad today for lunch I automatically can't help thinking 'boring' but

if you're ordering a rojak, I totally get it

this is a salad like no other so it is made up of shredded cucumber we ordered

the telur biasa so that's the original with the eggs so there's hardboiled eggs,

shredded fresh cucumber, there's some I think dough fritters, there's... I'm just

going to pull it apart, there's tofu in here there's also some sort of cracker

which the uncle just smashed on top of the other ingredients and it's all just

covered in this amazingly thick beautiful peanut sauce I cannot wait to

try this it just looks like a riot of flavour I'm gonna grab a little bit of

hard-boiled egg and some of that freshly shredded cucumber and pop that in my gob

emmm emm emmmm that satay- like sauce so the peanut sauce has some great texture

because of the chopped peanuts and it's sweet, it's just a little bit spicy and it's warm so

it's sorta warmed the ingredients as I've mixed it through. I'm going to give these dough fritters a

try because they're really interesting. They're quite crunchy

on the outside and doughy on the in

what I'm loving about this rojak there's just great texture, there's crunch from the

dough fritters, the hard boiled egg is soft, there's that freshness from the cucumber. It is

just a great great dish. Now when I was doing my research about where to go

to try rojak and cendol what I found was that what rojak and cendol go

together like two peas in a pod so it seemed that there were rojak

stalls or vendors and they always sell cendol as well I would love to know like

how that came to be or why that's the reason so if you could let me know in the

comments below I would really appreciate it

and whilst you're down there if you're enjoying our food and travel videos we'd love you

to subscribe. I've got the sotong rojak which is

squid so sotong is squid. I think it's the same dish as Sheena has except this one's

got squid. I'm just going to dig in like Sheena did and see what's hiding under there

so I saw him put the same cracker thing on and crush it so that's this bit here, it's real

crunchy, puffed sort of maybe prawn like cracker style thing

wow there's so much going on in here I've had rojak before in

Australia and it just it's great but it's so different to this and I think

what they do there is they're taking the ingredients they can find at the particular

restaurant we had it to make up a rojak, very different to this let's

try some. It's a tiny bit warm that's from the sauce being hot, there's not really

any crunch in what I just had it's all just taken on the sauce and it's all sort

of squishy it's got a real peanut flavour like peanut butter it's like

spicy peanut butter and the sort of peanut butter that like supermarket

brand peanut butter so Kraft, that sort of thing which is when it's really sweet

that's the sort of flavour I'm getting from that. I'm gonna try a bit more, plenty

going on in here some sort of fish cake or maybe it's

tofu

hmm tofu, there's a little bit of crunch from that cracker, I'm not really getting

the squid, the sotong flavour, there's this sort of skin looking thing I

don't really know what it is I think that might be the the squid. Mmm it is

it's actually mild in flavour I had some in that first bite, couldn't taste it. In

that bite I really could taste the squid flavour but it's very soft, much

softer than any squid I've ever had normally it can be a little bit chewy

and rubbery this is like jelly almost it just almost dissolved in my mouth, that's

very interesting. Wow these are so good, these rojak and then the fact we've got

these cendol waiting to have afterwards which are full of ice and are going

to be very sweet and coconut-y, I don't get why the combo happens like Sheena

was just talking about but I'm kind of getting why this is going to be an

amazing. Cendol has got to be one of my all-time favourite desserts because it's

so refreshing. So I ordered the cendol biasa which is the original

version so it comes with shaved ice, sweet, creamy coconut milk, these bright green

squiggly rice flour, like worm like things, there's kidney beans in here and you can

see that there's gula melaka or palm sugar syrup in here because the coconut

milk as I'm moving it around is turning this beautiful light brown colour, I've

got to get in and try it because I just know it's going to taste good

mmmm that coconut milk which has been infused with that gula melaka- that palm

sugar it's almost caramelised like the flavours like caramel and those slippery

green rice noodles are great mmm those kidney beans add an earthiness and honestly I

could slurp this right up in one go it is so refreshing for this KL weather. I've

gotta try this cendol too. So I'm mixing it all up and as you can see like Sheena

talked about that gula melak or that palm sugar just changes the colour of

the coconut milk it just takes on this beautiful brown caramel looking flavour

I'm just going to try that by itself first. I think Sheena's become very popular for

her wee dance. I would dance for that. That is so good it's not that sweet

it's very coconut-ty and then there's that little sweetness but because it's

the palm sugar it's a much more sort of a burnt sweetness so it's got a lot of flavour

it's like a really beautiful piece of Russian fudge or something like that

let's try it with a little bit of the rice so this has got pulut, so this is

where mine is different the same cendol but it has sticky rice in it or pulut

and it's got the kidney beans and the noodles which I think are rice flour or

tapioca flour, one of those

oh what a combo the beans are so earthy and the noodles are just a lovely

textural thing, the rice gives you a bit of realness I guess, it's

got a real rice flavour so that really adds to the overall taste of this dish oh

wow I'm loving this, it's so good what a combo, like the rojak has left

like a nice spiciness in our mouths, this is just cooling that back down ah gosh what

a meal and what we've actually done is we're eating both at the same time so

we've still got a lot of rojak left to go so we can go back to the spicy

back to this cooling I don't know if that's the right way to do it but it

just seemed like the right way we ordered them together you've got the nice cooling

thing the nice spicy thing. Perfect combo to me so between lunch and dessert

back and forth. Perfect. As I said before we're trying Indian rojak today there's

also a fruit version which is called rojak buah and that's a completely

different dish so it's made up of chopped fruit and the sauce on that one

is made up of shrimp paste, chillies, lime juice so it's a completely different dish I am

loving this Indian rojak though it has got so many bold and punchy flavours going on

and as Thomas said it's really cool being able to have a few bites of the rojak

and then have a completely different flavour going on with the cendol like it's

actually not very sweet as Thomas said, it's got a beautiful sort of subtle almost

burnt but not in a bad way flavour going on and it is just absolutely scrumptious

so we've come to Rojak SS15 Subang Jaya for our rojak and cendol experience today

we're at their PJ New Town branch their original stall which has been going for

years and years and years we've heard is still a street stall so that's pretty cool

but we couldn't make it out there today because it's quite far away from where we're

staying but boy am I glad we came here today.

what a lunch that was awesome what I really liked about it is it was very

different to sort of most things we'd have the way the combo worked the way

each dish was, both incredible if you're visiting Malaysia you have to try that

combo and have that lunch so good and if you're from Malaysia you are so lucky

that you get to have that whenever you like. So super satisfying I absolutely just

loved it, loved it to bits. Me too. We hope we've inspired you to eat and explore
