- Most of you have been using a personal profile
on Facebook for years at this point.
And it's possible that some of you
have even had your business page for years too.
Unfortunately, that sort of familiarity
doesn't always equate to real knowledge
about how to use the platform
in the best way possible to grow your business.
Let's make sure you have everything
you need to make a difference with your Facebook page.
The biggest reason you need a Facebook strategy
is that Facebook is everchanging,
and having an iterative plan is important.
Facebook and its algorithm changes regularly,
but in 2018, as the result of nefarious entities
using fake organizations and content
to manipulate users on the platform,
Facebook made even bigger changes to its news feed,
greatly reducing the organic reach of many businesses.
To prevent this type of activity
from happening in the future,
Facebook will constantly be tweaking the ways
their user base receives and shares content.
Savvy businesses need to be able to pivot
every time they make a change.
There are a few things that you need to plan for
as you begin to develop your overarching strategy.
- So what I often see businesses doing wrong
when it comes to social media
is that they're not focused
on how social media affects business objectives, okay?
So we need a strategy in place.
And it starts with business objectives, right?
Likes, shares, comments, these kind of vanity metrics
may make you feel warm and fuzzy inside,
but at the end of the day,
it's really about business objectives,
how is social media getting there?
So start with your business objectives.
Then identify your target market.
You should know this, but you need to figure out
where your target market lives on social.
And then you determine those channels
so that everything is tying back
to those business objectives.
If you're just going towards social media objectives,
like increasing likes or followers,
you're probably not gonna see, like I said,
any effect on your bottom line.
So start there, business objectives,
whether that's conversions, whether that is sales,
whatever it is, this is not like shares, followers,
but real business objectives.
- As we just heard, first,
you need to consider your business goals.
For example, if you have specific revenue goals
to hit on sales for a B2C product,
you'll likely want to share content
that's targeted at driving users back to a site to buy.
But if you're a B2B organization
that has a long lead time to purchase,
your focus might be on education
and delivering multiple touchpoints to help engage users.
With business goals in hand,
you can now determine how you want to use Facebook.
Here are some of the most common ways
that businesses use the platform.
Brand awareness, customer retention,
referrals to website or other marketing efforts,
community building, customer service,
business leads and conversions.
Some companies might use Facebook to do all of these things,
but that's not true for everyone.
A better tack to take would be to map
those business goals to the types of content
you'll need to meet those goals.
Perhaps you find that Facebook
is just a customer service channel.
Or maybe you want to build
a robust community of devoted fans.
Basically, what I'm saying
is that one size does not fit all.
You'll need to define your audience.
At HubSpot, we talk a lot about buyer personas,
so I won't dive deep into that here,
but you do need to understand
the types of people you want to attract
and engage with on your Facebook page.
Another key planning component
is understanding what types of actions
make the most sense at each
of the inbound methodology stages,
of what we at HubSpot refer to as the flywheel.
First, the attract stage.
Content that educates, informs, or entertains.
Facts, tips, and how-to's do well for companies
who are feeling your company out,
or looking for a specific solution to their problem.
And entertaining them a little along the way
to give them a sense of your company's culture,
voice, and tone can help build affinity.
- For brands that don't have a sexy product,
how can they achieve content that feels accessible,
think about the emotional qualities
behind what you're selling.
For example, if we're talking about light bulbs.
It might not seem sexy,
but there's a lot of humor to light bulbs.
Why do we always wait till there's only one left
when we go out to CVS to buy one?
There's emotional stories and connection
behind every product, it's just whether or not
you choose to look for it.
- Second, the engage stage.
Content that helps people solve their problem.
Key types of campaigns and content to consider
are videos, live interviews, classes and webinars,
access to product trials,
and most importantly, calls to action.
Third, the delight stage.
Content that helps connect or entertain.
This is the stage where you're building loyalty
and driving retention.
In this stage, consider giving your followers
the ability to ask questions and have them answered.
Help them network with others
within your organization, with your partners,
or other like-minded customers and prospects.
Keeping them excited and laughing is perfect
for delighting those that love your company and products.
Understanding these stages will help you determine
the right approach for the followers you have
and that you're trying to attract.
There are two more things to think about
in the planning stage of your Facebook strategy.
First, determine how your Facebook strategy
ties in to other marketing efforts.
Are there cross-platform and multi-channel possibilities
for your content and campaigns?
Can you incorporate Facebook into your events?
Can you use it to share blog posts
or drive traffic to landing pages?
Make sure that you weave your Facebook strategy
into your bigger marketing planning.
And if you have someone on your team
who is only responsible for Facebook,
make sure you keep them alerted about upcoming campaigns
so that everyone is aligned.
And finally, you'll want to measure for success.
Facebook delivers some mighty robust statistics
that you can use to do a variety of things,
including understanding the demographics of your audience,
determining the best mix of content
and the best times for that content,
audience engagement, such as clicks, likes, and reshares
and how many followers you've gained or lost that month.
If you're advertising with Facebook,
there's another set of analytics
that you can tap into as well.
Having all of these analytics is one thing,
but you should determine early on what you want to measure,
which KPIs do you plan to track?
See the resources section for a link
to a lesson all about planning how to build KPIs.
To quickly summarize, consider the following
when putting your Facebook strategy together.
Business goals.
How you plan to use Facebook.
Defining your buyer persona.
Determining the right actions
for the stages on your buyer's flywheel.
How your Facebook efforts tie
into your larger marketing strategies.
Which KPIs you want to track for success.
Mapping these components out ahead of time
will help you when you're ready to start creating content,
developing your engagement strategies,
and planning for advertising.

Tell me about the words I wronged
I'll count the worth I once found
And tell me how I never belonged
I'll bury the silver in the ground
The elephant's gone to clean your wounds
Maybe it'll find all those paper rooms
I'm bidding your colours are not too grey
With all of my monochrome world pay
I'm drinking my lemonade
Reminiscing on the masquerade

OK, everyone, let's gather here for a roll call
Thanks for volunteering
We're usually in the wards
It's good to be out once in a while
That's right, we're here to promote...
better health, better living, better life,
a healthy lifestyle
(Ow Foundation Charity Archery Championship)
Easy does it
Where's the toilet, nurse?
It's quite a distance from here. I'll take you there
Sure
Sister Yap, can you give me a hand?
What's happened?
What's going on?
Spread out! Attend to the casualties
Hello! Can you hear me, sir?
How is it? -Get him out, quick
His hand was over his chest. I suspect he had a heart attack
Hello, sir -Hello, sir
Can you hear me, sir?
Sir
Step aside -Sir
Hello, are you OK?
No pulse. Let's move him out
Where's the pain? Is your neck OK?

Congratulations
This guy has met with an accident
Yes, all the casualties have been sent to Ai De Hospital
It's quite serious
When did it happen?
Half an hour ago
Where's Ms Xia?
Pulse present, breathing present
Sister Sarah, isn't it your day off?
I heard there was a serious accident, so I rushed over
I've informed Sister Mary
What is the situation like?
12 casualties were brought here
Three are undergoing surgery for severe injuries
The rest are at P2 waiting area
OK, Get on with your work
I want my dad -Don't move
Shush -I don't want any jab
I'll just take a second
No -Ben
What are you doing here?
We happened to be at the scene when the accident took place
I want my dad -Be good, Kayleen
I don't want any jab -Don't move
What's your name, girl?
Kayleen
Hello, Kayleen. I'm Sister Sarah
Do you feel any pain anywhere, Kayleen?
My legs are painful, my arms are painful
I don't want any jab
Let me show you a magic trick, Kayleen
If you don't take the jab,
your thumb will come off
You don't want it to come off
OK, here's another magic trick
Put your right hand over your left hand
Look, focus
It's done. So good. Well done, Kayleen
It was supposed to be a free health screening
But at the end of the day, everybody was screaming
Precisely
I volunteered to show my support for Handsome Oppa, Mr Yuen,
and to get close to him
yet this had to happen
You didn't see enough of him in the hospital?
Mr Yuen is an APN (Advanced Practice Nurse)...
who's reliable and poised
No wonder he's so popular among the female nurses
So rude
She's complimenting another man in her husband's presence
It's a fact Mr Yuen is a hunk
He was so brave at the scene
I was scared out of my wits
You were? But you looked calm to me
That's because you guys were around
If I were on my own, I'd have panicked
However terrified you were, you'd still have attended to the casualties
It's a nurse's instinct
Thanks to everyone's effort,
we could reduce the number of casualties to the minimum
Keep it up
Mr Yuen, you're still around?
I'm not done with my work yet
Thanks for stepping in to help, everyone
All the casualties were treated in time, and their conditions have stabilized
What about the driver?
He underwent a heart operation and is out of danger
He's now in the ICU
He owes his life to the two of you
They lost no time in breaking the car window
The situation was dire
But Sister Wong didn't panic. In fact she acted fast
Keen to join the CCT (Community Care Team)?
You want me to join the Community Care Team?
Our hospital is expanding our community care services
We're conducting an internal recruitment drive
Your experience and ability to react fast...
render you the perfect candidate for a team leader of CCT
Working in the community is different from working in a ward
Change is not a bad thing
A new environment means a new endeavour
You'll learn different things
But I've always worked in a ward all these years
I know everything like the back of my hand
It's not a bad thing to accept new challenges
Take the two of us for example
We're getting out of our comfort zone to study in the UK
We don't know if we'll be able to adapt
But you won't know unless you try
Don't worry, Sister Wong
You don't have to give me an answer right away
Think it over
I will. Thanks
What brings you here, Mum?
Are you all right?
I saw the news
You were at the community club, weren't you?
Did you get hurt?
I'm fine
I'm glad
Hungry? I'll go and cook
Don't bother. Let's eat out
I've bought the ingredients
I'll just fix something simple. It'll soon be ready
I'll give you a hand
Ruojun
I don't understand your mindset
You and Ah Mu haven't even been married for two years and he had to be away
Can't be helped. It was a golden opportunity for him
I didn't want him to give it up
He'll just be spending two years in Shanghai
Before we realize it, he'll be back
But he didn't come back even when he had the time
Instead, he visited the child he sponsors in Cambodia
He's too much
Cambodia has been hit by a typhoon
The village the child lives in was flooded
He had to fly there as he was worried
I'm healthy and living in comfort
There was no need for him to visit me
I can't outtalk you
But I can't help feeling our house is too quiet
Your sister has gone to Melbourne to study...
and will only be back in six months
Mum, a colleague told me...
the hospital is expanding its community care services
He asked me if I was keen to join them as a team leader
Did you agree to it?
I said I'd think it over
I've always worked in a ward
This will be an entirely new environment for me
I'm afraid I might not be able to cope
You will. You've so much experience
You also think I should take on a new role?
Your sister switched to home care...
and loved it, didn't she?
You'll also get to go overseas...
to do community care courses
If you want to try something new,
I'm all for it
Got it
Are we there? -Yes
OK
So many balloons. Are they free?
Surprise
Thank you for throwing this farewell party
Thanks for coming, Sister Sarah
This is also a welcome party...
to welcome Sister Sarah to Ward C11
Thank you
This is also to welcome her?
They're so fickle in their affection
What did you expect then? -Precisely
We're celebrating because we're finally rid of you
It's not funny
But then, I've treated you guys well
You're going to miss me
What a spread. No present?
It's the thought that counts
Never mind about him. Let's dig in
Excuse me?
Let me teach you
Offer this to Sister "Salah" who's new here
Please
Here, Sister "Salah"
XYZ, will you miss us?
Who? You?
No
What about me?
Who are you?
The only person I'll miss is Big Sis
But I know I can leave without worries...
since you'll be...
under Sister Rainy Day (xia yu tian)'s charge
Xia Yutian
I know it's Xia Yutian (tian - sweet); it can't be Xia Yuxian (xian - salty)
Now, Rainy Day,
there are a few people you've to look out for
She's one of them
Her name is Mandy (slow)
She's indeed a slowcoach
This is Pingping
She loves to exercise her mouth...
by eating...
and gossiping
What a thing to say about me
Any problem?
And these three little pigs...
are new staff nurses...
who just passed the six months' probation
If I were you, I'd keep a close eye on them
I will, thanks
I'm Ray Li Yingjie. Please give me your guidance
Hello
Sister Sarah, I'm Zhu Xiaorou
I'm Yuan Kai
Nice to meet you
Mr Yuen is his uncle
I know. He's mentioned you
I bet he spoke ill of me
He only told me you're his nephew...
and asked me to observe your strengths and weaknesses
Let me introduce myself too
My name is Jin Siyan -Hello
Let me tell you
This swallow (yan) is fully fledged
She even won an award
So you need not worry about her
She'll fend for herself
I'm going to miss your lame jokes
Are they that lame?
Sorry
You're here at last
Why are you so late?
I'll be taking over Xinni's patients
She told me about their conditions and the things to look out for
Did she rattle on and on?
Sorry, my wife is quite long-winded
No. She's careful and observant
I'm in charge of CCT,
and won't spend so much time at the clinic
So her tips will be helpful
Hear that? He has a way with words
So do I
Listen good. Our dear Sister "Lock up"...
is pretty with a heart of gold
She finds it hard to say goodbye to her patients
How's that?
You'll just be away for two years
Leave everything to the rest
It's hardest to say goodbye to you guys
Nursing is about teamwork
I'm really happy to have you to shoulder the workload...
and share my weal and woe
The parting is only temporary
We'll be awaiting your return
Mr Xie
Do you have anything to say to us?
We will be back
Let's dig in
I scored 7 in the first five shots...
before I got a 9 in my sixth attempt
I was that close to the bull's eye
Surely you could've done better?
You got distracted by some hunk
Certainly not
I'm not as good now because you no longer coach me
You must get well soon...
so you can teach me again
I've not been practising either
How I wish I could stand under the sun...
and shoot again
You will be able to. Don't give up
Got to go to work. I'll come and see you again
Rest well
How are you feeling today?
Same old, same old
Does your back still hurt? Do you feel nauseous?
If you're busy,
you don't have to visit me every day
It's break time for me
What's the use of visiting me?
I'm not going to get well
Come on, Eve
I know I can't share your pain
I can only give you moral support,
and face it together with you
Why do I feel that...
it's luckier to be your patient than your girlfriend?
I get more concern from you
Sorry
I'm tired
I want to rest
Have a good rest then
(Six years ago)
Are you all right, miss?
It's a little painful
Come
Let me take a look
Bear with it
Apple and carrot, less ice, right?
Thanks
I met Eve's sister, Ada, before I went into the room
She was very upset
She told you about Eve?
Eve's kidney function has dropped further...
to 10%
Her prognosis is very poor
Dr Lau suggested that I speak to Eve about her preferred care plan
Shall I do that instead?
Her condition is getting worse by the day, yet there's nothing I can do
Despite her young age,
she had to undergo a transplant because of acute kidney failure
But organ rejection set in. And she can't go for dialysis
You've done all you could, Ben
Ever since you found out about her illness,
you've been taking care of her,
and studying all the possible treatments she can receive
You've done your best. Don't reproach yourself
It's my fault
I didn't notice that Eve was sick
It wasn't your fault
Don't blame yourself for everything
I didn't do my part as a boyfriend
I don't blame Eve for breaking up with me
When we were dating,
I did so little for her
I want to do more
Trust me, Ben. You're doing great
Don't push yourself too hard
Thanks
What brings you here?
I came to visit someone
Qiaomei of bed 9 is an old classmate of mine
If I hadn't come here,
I wouldn't have known your facilities are so advanced now
Everything is computerized
It's even on wheels
This is called COW
As in "cow"?
COW, short for Computer on Wheels
Sister
No matter how the environment has changed,
our jobs are still important
Sister Lilian, have you forgotten?
Sister Tay taught us that
Ruojun? Wang Ruojun?
Long time no see
I'm really happy to run into you
Sister Wong, you know my aunt?
Sure. Sister Lilian and I were nurses of ward 18
She was two years my senior,
and took care of newbies like us
She's your aunt? Small world
Indeed it's a small world
You're a nurse manager now
You're in the same ward as Yutian?
Do look out for her
Sister Sarah is capable,
and a nurse clinician at that
She doesn't need me to look out for her
Sister Sarah, Mrs Li of bed 5 complains of breathing difficulties
Get on with your work. I'll catch up with you another day
See you -OK, bye
Bye
They're late! How dare they make me wait
Hello, where are you guys?
The nerve of you to trick your chief. You're itching for a beating
Sorry
We're over here, Chief
Let's go, Mummy
What's the matter?
Someone bumped into me. It hurts
Who could be so careless?
It's that guy with a tattoo on his back
I should think he's a hooligan,
and those are his underlings
Why are you late?
We went to get some paint
You should've done it earlier
I bet he's a loan shark
He's getting those boys to go somewhere to splash paint
Terrible
That won't do
You can go to jail for being a loan shark's runner
I'll remind those boys not to be used by him
Leave them alone. We might get into trouble
Let's go home -But...
What is it, Mummy? -I've got a muscle cramp
I'll carry the things
Let's go home
Go
Be late again and I'll kill you
Please, Chief
Hi, Sarah
What are you doing here?
I got your address from the organizer
You left without collecting your cert and souvenir the other day
I'm here to deliver them
Thank you
Bye
I know this is a little abrupt,
but I really want to be friends with you and get to know you better
My boyfriend will be here any minute
I don't want him to get the wrong idea
You're so pretty
I'm not surprised that you're spoken for
But I've faith in myself
Give me a chance to compete fairly with him
Don't say anymore. It's impossible between us
My Rainy Baby
Your Sunny Boy is here to pick you up
This is my boyfriend, Sunny
Brandon
Did you ask...
my Rainy Baby...
to give you a chance to compete with me fairly?
When you want a chance, you fight for it
I'm not one who concedes defeat easily
Come again? I didn't hear you
When you want a chance, you fight for it
Perish the thought
Don't let me see you again
Do you miss me, Rainy Baby?
OK, that's enough
That's enough
Kicking me aside already?
I wouldn't dare
Your timing was perfect
You helped me once again. Thanks
I'll do anything for my Rainy Baby
Stop it. Stop calling me Rainy Baby
Oh, my Rainy Baby
I'm your Sunny Boy
Crazy fellow
I'll do anything for you -Stop it
I'll kiss you, hug you, love you...
always
I see, that guy was hit by Cupid's arrow...
which Sis shot at the charity archery championship
Hello, it was no Cupid's arrow
If you don't fancy him, reject him
Don't keep using Ah Boy as a cover
But I'm macho
My presence speaks more than her words
Don't get me started
You're always in a singlet
Do you want the world to know you've a tattoo on your back?
Well, the weather is warm
Let's dig in
But, Sis,
you're getting better at "archery"
You can direct your arrow at me instantly
I mean you well. Remember what your occupation is
Don't make a bad first impression
Got it
The food is great today
Here, Lilian Baby
You're in high spirits
I visited someone at the hospital today and ran into an ex-colleague
Sister Wong?
We had no time to catch up with each other
But she reminded me of the days we worked together
It's been 15 years
I can see that you miss your job very much
In order to take care of Grandma and Mum who were sick...
back then,
you had to quit to work at a private clinic with fixed working hours
The doctor you're working for is retiring
You can go back to the hospital
Good idea
Hospitals are no longer like the old days
Everything is computerized and the equipment is all high-tech
I don't know how to use it
Given my age,
I'm afraid I might not be able to adapt
Why should you worry?
My Lilian Baby is a paragon of intellect
A bright person like you will...
pick up anything instantly
You and your flattery
I mean it
You've been working in a specialist clinic for the past 15 years
You didn't lose your touch
I'm sure you've a lot of experience
Working shifts may disrupt your daily routine,
but they have the flexi-hour system
Look at it this way
We'll be able to go shopping and have high tea...
minus the crowd, isn't that good?
The two of you went on and on
I know where you're coming from
Rest assured I'll give it some serious thought
Yours
So many letters
Are you doing your rounds?
Do I pass?
Not too bad
You haven't told me where you'll be working at
It's a surprise
What are you busy with?
Sister, you're not just making your rounds
You even want to know what I eat and wear,
where I go and what I do
I'm being concerned
I'm old enough to take care of myself
The fact remains that I'm your sister
You're hardly at home these days. What are you up to?
I got to know a group of teens recently
It's their school hols, and I happened to be on leave too
So we played soccer and chatted
And I did something meaningful today
Oh? What did you do?
You don't trust me at all. I'm so sad
Time's up. The patient needs to rest
Go away -So rude
Go away
Stop it
Goodnight
As our population ages,
our demand for healthcare services goes up
That's why our hospital is expanding our community care system...
to lower the chances of patients getting admitted again
Our duties at CCT consist of four areas
The first is education
We organize community activities...
to promote healthy lifestyles and raise health awareness
The second is health screening...
and managing Community Nurse Posts
Community Nurse Posts are stationed in the heartlands...
to facilitate consultation...
so that residents may get early diagnosis and follow-ups
The third is home care
I'm familiar with that
It's to make home visits and phone calls...
to take care of patients who are recovering,
and help patients with high risks manage their conditions
The fourth is providing hospice care for the terminally ill
What is my job scope as a team leader?
Besides handling cases of home care and hospice care,
you'll also need to be a coordinator and give your team guidance
We need a Nurse Manager with a lot of experience like you...
who can work independently to lead our team
Thanks for sharing the jobs of CCT with me
Everything is under control at the wards
But a community care nurse faces all kinds of situations
You've to act independently
It's a different challenge altogether
Therefore...
I'll give it a shot
Thank you, Sister Wong
I'll submit your name to the management
Sister Wong, I look forward to working with you
I look forward to the new job too
Let's take your body temperature
Hello, Sister Wong
Siyan, I heard you've applied for CCT too
Yes. I've always been keen on community care
But I'm applying only now as I want to gain more experience at the ward
I don't know if my application will be successful
Your performance has been excellent the past two years
That's why you won the Florence Nightingale Medal
I've faith in you
I was only doing my part
The award came as a surprise
But I'm really happy about it
Do you channel all your energy to work...
because you're not seeing anyone?
Sister Wong, why are you asking the same question as my mum?
Sister Wong, Nurse Siyan, I'm back
Why are you warded again, Mr Fong?
The same old ailments -
headache, breathing difficulty, and swollen feet
Mr Fong
Nurse Lee, Nurse Choo
We meet again
Mr Fong, you got discharged just three weeks ago
Did you not take your meds as prescribed?
Yes, I did
Let me wheel you to your bed
Sure, thank you
Nurse Lee, my back and my feet are itchy
What are you doing here, Aunt?
Looking for me?
I'm meeting a friend -Who?
It's me
Sister Wong? Oh yeah
I wanted to catch up with her
Sit down -Sure
We chatted about many things
There was Nurse Manager Sister Tay...
who looked like she was about to devour us
She was very strict with young nurses like us
But she cared a lot about us outside working hours
It was all female nurses in our ward then
We were as close as sisters,
and we helped and encouraged one another
How I miss the days we worked together
We had so much fun
In that case, why not come back to the hospital to work?
She's afraid she can't adapt as she's been away for too long
Not to worry
There's the Return-to-Nursing programme
Nurses who have left the hospital for more than five years...
can apply to go for a course...
to reacquaint themselves
They'll also receive subsidies
Yutian has told me about it
But I didn't give it any serious thought
Aunt, I'll send you a link
It contains the application details and other info. Make sure you read them
It's set. I'm waiting for you
We'll be waiting for you
Give me some time to go through everything before I decide
All right
Sisters, have you seen Mr Fong?
Why?
He needed the toilet and I assisted him
But when I came back, he was gone
He was nowhere to be seen on the entire floor
Don't worry, we'll look for him together
Mr Fong's feet are swollen. He couldn't have gone far
And he likes to have many people around
He's probably chatting with someone in some ward
Let's split up to look for him
I'll go with you
How old is Mr Fong?
He's in his 60s, and sports short hair and a moustache
Don't worry so much
We had a patient missing in our ward too
We looked everywhere for him
Turned out he fell asleep after smoking at the rooftop
Oh yeah, you said you were a nurse too the other day
Yeah, but that was more than a decade ago
I used to work here too
Were you at the children's ward then...
and everybody called you Sister Lilian?
Yeah
Bingo
You've found him? Where is he?
I mean, I've found you
Me?
I was only 9 then. It was the first time I was hospitalized
The doctor who examined me was fierce, and I was scared
But the nurse who attended to me was gentle
She made me feel safe and warm
I was the nurse?
I couldn't get to sleep as I was feeling unwell
I even threw up
You took care of me all night
After I was discharged, I made a card and wanted to give it to you in person
But when my parents brought me back to the hospital,
you'd left
It happened too long ago. I don't remember anything about it
Could you have made a mistake?
Certainly not
It's OK if you don't remember it so long as I do
Thank you
Sorry
I got carried away
We really found him this time
Mr Fong
Where did you go, Mr Fong?
I ran into an old friend, Wang
We chatted and I lost track of time
Sorry
Sorry
Thanks, Sister Wong, Sister Sarah
Inform the nurse administering medication that Mr Fong needs his medicines
Stay in bed, Mr Fong
If you need anything, press this button to summon a nurse
OK
Does Mr Fong get admitted often?
You know him very well?
You're new in our ward, so you don't know about his case
He was diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) three years ago
He's often admitted for breathing problems
Even more so for the past one year
We see him almost every month
We should study his case closely
There might be other reasons for his frequent admission
Yingjie was a patient I looked after more than ten years ago
He's a big boy now and has even become a nurse
He actually remembers me
You're the reason he became a nurse
Me?
He's a healthcare scholar
He did very well in his A-Level exams...
and was eligible for all the courses
But still, he chose nursing
I believe it had to do with his hospitalization experience
In a ward,
nurses are the people that patients come into contact with most
They know patients very well...
and bond with them
Agreed?
My job at the clinic is only to register patients
When the doctor examines patients, I just help out a little
And sometimes, I've to remind patients to come back for follow-ups
That's why you often say your job is monotonous
It's neither challenging nor satisfying
So how?
Come back
You and Ah Boy are right
My mind is made up. I'll go back to the hospital to work
Really?
Really?
But that means...
we'll become colleagues, Sister Sarah
You must guide me along
Of course. Welcome back
I must tell Sunny Boy the good news
Did he say where he went? Is he coming back for dinner?
He took a call...
and went out right after even without changing
He said he'd be home late and asked us not to wait up for him
What? Not again
Why is he always not around?
He doesn't tell us where he's going
Hello, what do you want to eat? I'll buy it for you
Sure. See you later
Make way
Sorry
Stop running
Stop running
No, Chief -Come with me
I surrender, Chief
Where's the money?
There isn't any
Where is the money?
This money is for...
I dare you to do it again
Don't push your luck
Why did you take my money, lady?
Your money? You're bullying him
Is he collecting protection money from you?
Did you make a mistake?
You wish
It's OK, I'm here. Don't be afraid
Is this your money?
Yes, it's mine
Where are you going?
Why did you stop me? I must go after that fellow
I had to stop you
I despise people like you who are able-bodied but...
bully and make use of teens
You've got it wrong
You're doing him harm
Me, doing him harm?
I've no time for explanation. A life is at stake
Why are you following me, lady?
If you're so free, go home to watch TV
I'll decide what to do with my time
Suit yourself. Follow me if you want
But please keep your mouth shut, OK?
Where's the money, fatso?
Fatty Da owes me money, Sunny
Don't get me started
You taught him to bet on soccer
You even tricked him into making a bet
In order to repay you, he actually stole from someone
I didn't force him to gamble. Not my fault that he lost
It's only right that he pays me back since he lost the bet
Right, Sunny?
Don't take that attitude with me
Are you not going to pay me back?
It's you, Sunny
What's the problem? Let me solve it for you
Who's not paying back?
Ask your man
I'm not in the wrong. He lost the bet, so he should pay up
I didn't tell him to steal or rob someone
Who's that filming us secretly?
What are you filming?
Evidence of your crime. I'm calling the police
Don't do that
Delete it
I said delete it
Give me your mobile
You already put it under a running tap
No need to apply lotion
Ointment for scalds or antiseptic cream is a must
The area might get infected otherwise
You're so strange
You called me a bad guy
So why are you helping me?
Be it a good man or a bad man,
he should receive medical treatment if he's injured
Sorry to have brought this on you, Chief
Really
You should've got me to repay your gambling debt for you
Why steal from your boss?
Good thing he informed me instead of calling the police,
or you'd be doomed
What should I do now? -What do you think?
I've returned the money to your boss for you
You'll pay me back by instalments
Thanks, Chief
And you, please don't make assumptions and...
look at others with a jaundiced eye
Are you saying I got the wrong idea about you,
and you're actually a goody two shoes?
It's not just me
Kun and Black Chicken aren't bookies either
They're only gambling among themselves
If you call the police,
he'll get into trouble
I followed you all the way to the coffee shop
Why didn't you explain it to me?
You're self-opinionated
You already concluded that I was a villain
My explanation wasn't going to get through to you
So why bother?
Look who's talking
What made you think I wouldn't believe you?
Not breaking the law...
is no proof that you're a goody two shoes
I don't wish to explain further
Anyway, thank you
I believe I won't be so unlucky as to run into you again
Let's not cross our paths again
I hope not either
Bye-bye
Did you go to outer space to buy the food? You took ages to come
Don't even ask. I ran into a guy
A hunk?
A punk
Spare me the details then
Stop playing with your mobile. You'll get indigestion
I just downloaded a dating app
You can find kindred spirits by inputting the things you loathe
Quite interesting
You said there were a few eligible guys in your company
Why do you still need this app to make friends?
It's for you
I signed up using your profile and photo
Many guys are keen on you
How could you, Fu Wenhui
Delete it, now
It's just for fun
You're so focused on your work that you're losing touch with the outside world
No harm making more friends
Use your own profile if you want. Don't get me into trouble
I told you I don't wish to date anyone
I'll wait for the right person to appear and observe him
I'll accept him when I'm sure he's the one
Mind you don't become a spinster
I'm not worried at all
If the right person doesn't appear,
I'd rather die a lonely old woman

Gerard Pique speaks about re-creating an iconic moment in Barca's 5-1 Clasico win - Duration: 3:57.
Barcelona returned to the top of La Liga in stunning fashion on Sunday afternoon by thrashing Real Madrid 5-1 at the Nou Camp
With injured Lionel Messi watching on, Philippe Coutinho, Arturo Vidal and a Luis Suarez hat-trick gave the hosts all three points in the first Clasico of the season
Vidal has been very outspoken about Real's recent Champions League triumphs, and another Barca man who harbours a dislike for Los Blancos is Gerard Pique
Given his history, the central defender would've been as happy as anyone to see his beloved Barca beat Madrid in such a convincing manner
In fact, he re-created a rather iconic moment from a famous Clasico back in 2010 after Vidal scored Barcelona's fifth goal - and he's spoken about it too
The history behind Pique's gesture In the 2010-11 campaign, Pep Guardiola's Barca celebrated the club's 111th anniversary by beating Real Madrid 5-0 at the Nou Camp
Following the fifth goal in that game, Pique produced a "five" hand gesture (in reference to each of the goals), and it lives long in the memory of their supporters
As Sid Lowe once wrote for The Guardian: "Eric Abidal raised his hand. Gerard Piqué raised his
Soon, the rest of Nou Camp joined in - palms open, fingers outstretched. "It was not that they thrashed Madrid 5-0, defeated (Jose) Mourinho and his unbeaten €292m team
It was that they did it their way (style)." Pique re-creates "five" gesture in latest Clasico Only Pique, Sergio Busquets and Messi remain from that team, and the former was at it again on Sunday by bringing back the infamous hand signal - as shown below
Even Barcelona's official Twitter account couldn't help but reference it: Pique speaks after Clasico win The 31-year-old, who endured a sticky patch of form a few weeks ago, was as assured as ever on the ball and defended pretty well when one-on-one with Real's forwards
After the 5-1 win, in which he made his 460th appearance for Barca, Pique explained his latest hand celebration: "My hand gesture? The situation is simple, we have put (scored) five goals
"It is a moment to enjoy. I knew I'd go back to my level (top form), it's a matter of time
In the end, criticism is a motivation to be at your level. I've found myself well
" Pique will hope Ernesto Valverde's men can continue to perform at this level when they face Cultural Leonesa, Rayo Vallecano and Inter Milan in three different competitions

FOUND IN A BOTTLE by Edgar Allan Poe.
Read for you by Pavel Larin.
OF my country and of my family I have little to say.
Ill usage and length of years have driven me from the one, and estranged me from the
other.
Hereditary wealth afforded me an education of no common order, and a contemplative turn
of mind enabled me to methodize the stores which early study very diligently garnered
up.—Beyond all things, the study of the German moralists gave me great delight; not
from any ill-advised admiration of their eloquent madness, but from the ease with which my habits
of rigid thought enabled me to detect their falsities.
I have often been reproached with the aridity of my genius; a deficiency of imagination
has been imputed to me as a crime; and the Pyrrhonism of my opinions has at all times
rendered me notorious.
Indeed, a strong relish for physical philosophy has, I fear, tinctured my mind with a very
common error of this age—I mean the habit of referring occurrences, even the least susceptible
of such reference, to the principles of that science.
Upon the whole, no person could be less liable than myself to be led away from the severe
precincts of truth by the ignes fatui of superstition.
I have thought proper to premise thus much, lest the incredible tale I have to tell should
be considered rather the raving of a crude imagination, than the positive experience
of a mind to which the reveries of fancy have been a dead letter and a nullity.
After many years spent in foreign travel, I sailed in the year 18— , from the port
of Batavia, in the rich and populous island of Java, on a voyage to the Archipelago of
the Sunda islands.
I went as passenger—having no other inducement than a kind of nervous restlessness which
haunted me as a fiend.
Our vessel was a beautiful ship of about four hundred tons, copper-fastened, and built at
Bombay of Malabar teak.
She was freighted with cotton-wool and oil, from the Lachadive islands.
We had also on board coir, jaggeree, ghee, cocoa-nuts, and a few cases of opium.
The stowage was clumsily done, and the vessel consequently crank.
We got under way with a mere breath of wind, and for many days stood along the eastern
coast of Java, without any other incident to beguile the monotony of our course than
the occasional meeting with some of the small grabs of the Archipelago to which we were
bound.
One evening, leaning over the taffrail, I observed a very singular, isolated cloud,
to the N.W.
It was remarkable, as well for its color, as from its being the first we had seen since
our departure from Batavia.
I watched it attentively until sunset, when it spread all at once to the eastward and
westward, girting in the horizon with a narrow strip of vapor, and looking like a long line
of low beach.
My notice was soon afterwards attracted by the dusky-red appearance of the moon, and
the peculiar character of the sea.
The latter was undergoing a rapid change, and the water seemed more than usually transparent.
Although I could distinctly see the bottom, yet, heaving the lead, I found the ship in
fifteen fathoms.
The air now became intolerably hot, and was loaded with spiral exhalations similar to
those arising from heat iron.
As night came on, every breath of wind died away, an more entire calm it is impossible
to conceive.
The flame of a candle burned upon the poop without the least perceptible motion, and
a long hair, held between the finger and thumb, hung without the possibility of detecting
a vibration.
However, as the captain said he could perceive no indication of danger, and as we were drifting
in bodily to shore, he ordered the sails to be furled, and the anchor let go.
No watch was set, and the crew, consisting principally of Malays, stretched themselves
deliberately upon deck.
I went below—not without a full presentiment of evil.
Indeed, every appearance warranted me in apprehending a Simoom.
I told the captain my fears; but he paid no attention to what I said, and left me without
deigning to give a reply.
My uneasiness, however, prevented me from sleeping, and about midnight I went upon deck.—As
I placed my foot upon the upper step of the companion-ladder, I was startled by a loud,
humming noise, like that occasioned by the rapid revolution of a mill-wheel, and before
I could ascertain its meaning, I found the ship quivering to its centre.
In the next instant, a wilderness of foam hurled us upon our beam-ends, and, rushing
over us fore and aft, swept the entire decks from stem to stern.
The extreme fury of the blast proved, in a great measure, the salvation of the ship.
Although completely water-logged, yet, as her masts had gone by the board, she rose,
after a minute, heavily from the sea, and, staggering awhile beneath the immense pressure
of the tempest, finally righted.
By what miracle I escaped destruction, it is impossible to say.
Stunned by the shock of the water, I found myself, upon recovery, jammed in between the
stern-post and rudder.
With great difficulty I gained my feet, and looking dizzily around, was, at first, struck
with the idea of our being among breakers; so terrific, beyond the wildest imagination,
was the whirlpool of mountainous and foaming ocean within which we were engulfed.
After a while, I heard the voice of an old Swede, who had shipped with us at the moment
of our leaving port.
I hallooed to him with all my strength, and presently he came reeling aft.
We soon discovered that we were the sole survivors of the accident.
All on deck, with the exception of ourselves, had been swept overboard;—the captain and
mates must have perished as they slept, for the cabins were deluged (дэлюд) with
water.
Without assistance, we could expect to do little for the security of the ship, and our
exertions were at first paralyzed by the momentary expectation of going down.
Our cable had, of course, parted like pack-thread, at the first breath of the hurricane, or we
should have been instantaneously overwhelmed.
We scudded with frightful velocity before the sea, and the water made clear breaches
over us.
The frame-work of our stern was shattered excessively, and, in almost every respect,
we had received considerable injury; but to our extreme Joy we found the pumps unchoked,
and that we had made no great shifting of our ballast.
The main fury of the blast had already blown over, and we apprehended little danger from
the violence of the wind; but we looked forward to its total cessation with dismay; well believing,
that, in our shattered condition, we should inevitably perish in the tremendous swell
which would ensue.
But this very just apprehension seemed by no means likely to be soon verified.
For five entire days and nights—during which our only subsistence was a small quantity
of jaggeree, procured with great difficulty from the forecastle—the hulk flew at a rate
defying computation, before rapidly succeeding flaws of wind, which, without equalling the
first violence of the Simoom, were still more terrific than any tempest I had before encountered.
Our course for the first four days was, with trifling variations, S.E. and by S.; and we
must have run down the coast of New Holland.—On the fifth day the cold became extreme, although
the wind had hauled round a point more to the northward.—The sun arose with a sickly
yellow lustre, and clambered a very few degrees above the horizon—emitting no decisive light.—There
were no clouds apparent, yet the wind was upon the increase, and blew with a fitful
and unsteady fury.
About noon, as nearly as we could guess, our attention was again arrested by the appearance
of the sun.
It gave out no light, properly so called, but a dull and sullen glow without reflection,
as if all its rays were polarized.
Just before sinking within the turgid sea, its central fires suddenly went out, as if
hurriedly extinguished by some unaccountable power.
It was a dim, sliver-like rim, alone, as it rushed down the unfathomable ocean.
We waited in vain for the arrival of the sixth day—that day to me has not arrived—to
the Swede, never did arrive.
Thenceforward we were enshrouded in patchy darkness, so that we could not have seen an
object at twenty paces from the ship.
Eternal night continued to envelop us, all unrelieved by the phosphoric sea-brilliancy
to which we had been accustomed in the tropics.
We observed too, that, although the tempest continued to rage with unabated violence,
there was no longer to be discovered the usual appearance of surf, or foam, which had hitherto
attended us.
All around were horror, and thick gloom, and a black sweltering desert of ebony.—Superstitious
terror crept by degrees into the spirit of the old Swede, and my own soul was wrapped
up in silent wonder.
We neglected all care of the ship, as worse than useless, and securing ourselves, as well
as possible, to the stump of the mizen-mast, looked out bitterly into the world of ocean.
We had no means of calculating time, nor could we form any guess of our situation.
We were, however, well aware of having made farther to the southward than any previous
navigators, and felt great amazement at not meeting with the usual impediments of ice.
In the meantime every moment threatened to be our last—every mountainous billow hurried
to overwhelm us.
The swell surpassed anything I had imagined possible, and that we were not instantly buried
is a miracle.
My companion spoke of the lightness of our cargo, and reminded me of the excellent qualities
of our ship; but I could not help feeling the utter hopelessness of hope itself, and
prepared myself gloomily for that death which I thought nothing could defer beyond an hour,
as, with every knot of way the ship made, the swelling of the black stupendous seas
became more dismally appalling.
At times we gasped for breath at an elevation beyond the albatross—at times became dizzy
with the velocity of our descent into some watery hell, where the air grew stagnant,
and no sound disturbed the slumbers of the kraken.
We were at the bottom of one of these abysses, when a quick scream from my companion broke
fearfully upon the night.
"See! see!" cried he, shrieking in my ears, "Almighty God!
see! see!"
As he spoke, I became aware of a dull, sullen glare of red light which streamed down the
sides of the vast chasm where we lay, and threw a fitful brilliancy upon our deck.
Casting my eyes upwards, I beheld a spectacle which froze the current of my blood.
At a terrific height directly above us, and upon the very verge of the precipitous descent,
hovered a gigantic ship of, perhaps, four thousand tons.
Although upreared upon the summit of a wave more than a hundred times her own altitude,
her apparent size exceeded that of any ship of the line or East Indiaman in existence.
Her huge hull was of a deep dingy black, unrelieved by any of the customary carvings of a ship.
A single row of brass cannon protruded from her open ports, and dashed from their polished
surfaces the fires of innumerable battle-lanterns, which swung to and fro about her rigging.
But what mainly inspired us with horror and astonishment, was that she bore up under a
press of sail in the very teeth of that supernatural sea, and of that ungovernable hurricane.
When we first discovered her, her bows were alone to be seen, as she rose slowly from
the dim and horrible gulf beyond her.
For a moment of intense terror she paused upon the giddy pinnacle, as if in contemplation
of her own sublimity, then trembled and tottered, and—came down.
At this instant, I know not what sudden self-possession came over my spirit.
Staggering as far aft as I could, I awaited fearlessly the ruin that was to overwhelm.
Our own vessel was at length ceasing from her struggles, and sinking with her head to
the sea.
The shock of the descending mass struck her, consequently, in that portion of her frame
which was already under water, and the inevitable result was to hurl me, with irresistible violence,
upon the rigging of the stranger.
As I fell, the ship hove in stays, and went about; and to the confusion ensuing I attributed
my escape from the notice of the crew.
With little difficulty I made my way unperceived to the main hatchway, which was partially
open, and soon found an opportunity of secreting myself in the hold.
Why I did so I can hardly tell.
An indefinite sense of awe, which at first sight of the navigators of the ship had taken
hold of my mind, was perhaps the principle of my concealment.
I was unwilling to trust myself with a race of people who had offered, to the cursory
glance I had taken, so many points of vague novelty, doubt, and apprehension.
I therefore thought proper to contrive a hiding-place in the hold.
This I did by removing a small portion of the shifting-boards, in such a manner as to
afford me a convenient retreat between the huge timbers of the ship.
I had scarcely completed my work, when a footstep in the hold forced me to make use of it.
A man passed by my place of concealment with a feeble and unsteady gait.
I could not see his face, but had an opportunity of observing his general appearance.
There was about it an evidence of great age and infirmity.
His knees tottered beneath a load of years, and his entire frame quivered under the burthen.
He muttered to himself, in a low broken tone, some words of a language which I could not
understand, and groped in a corner among a pile of singular-looking instruments, and
decayed charts of navigation.
His manner was a wild mixture of the peevishness of second childhood, and the solemn dignity
of a God.
He at length went on deck, and I saw him no more.
A feeling, for which I have no name, has taken possession of my soul —a sensation which
will admit of no analysis, to which the lessons of bygone times are inadequate, and for which
I fear futurity itself will offer me no key.
To a mind constituted like my own, the latter consideration is an evil.
I shall never—I know that I shall never—be satisfied with regard to the nature of my
conceptions.
Yet it is not wonderful that these conceptions are indefinite, since they have their origin
in sources so utterly novel.
A new sense—a new entity is added to my soul.
It is long since I first trod the deck of this terrible ship, and the rays of my destiny
are, I think, gathering to a focus.
Incomprehensible men!
Wrapped up in meditations of a kind which I cannot divine, they pass me by unnoticed.
Concealment is utter folly on my part, for the people will not see.
It was but just now that I passed directly before the eyes of the mate—it was no long
while ago that I ventured into the captain's own private cabin, and took thence the materials
with which I write, and have written.
I shall from time to time continue this Journal.
It is true that I may not find an opportunity of transmitting it to the world, but I will
not fall to make the endeavour.
At the last moment I will enclose the MS. in a bottle, and cast it within the sea.
An incident has occurred which has given me new room for meditation.
Are such things the operation of ungoverned Chance?
I had ventured upon deck and thrown myself down, without attracting any notice, among
a pile of ratlin-stuff and old sails in the bottom of the yawl.
While musing upon the singularity of my fate, I unwittingly daubed with a tar-brush the
edges of a neatly-folded studding-sail which lay near me on a barrel.
The studding-sail is now bent upon the ship, and the thoughtless touches of the brush are
spread out into the word DISCOVERY.
I have made many observations lately upon the structure of the vessel.
Although well armed, she is not, I think, a ship of war.
Her rigging, build, and general equipment, all negative a supposition of this kind.
What she is not, I can easily perceive—what she is I fear it is impossible to say.
I know not how it is, but in scrutinizing her strange model and singular cast of spars,
her huge size and overgrown suits of canvas, her severely simple bow and antiquated stern,
there will occasionally flash across my mind a sensation of familiar things, and there
is always mixed up with such indistinct shadows of recollection, an unaccountable memory of
old foreign chronicles and ages long ago.
I have been looking at the timbers of the ship.
She is built of a material to which I am a stranger.
There is a peculiar character about the wood which strikes me as rendering it unfit for
the purpose to which it has been applied.
I mean its extreme porousness, considered independently by the worm-eaten condition
which is a consequence of navigation in these seas, and apart from the rottenness attendant
upon age.
It will appear perhaps an observation somewhat over-curious, but this wood would have every
characteristic of Spanish oak, if Spanish oak were distended by any unnatural means.
In reading the above sentence a curious apothegm of an old weather-beaten Dutch navigator comes
full upon my recollection.
"It is as sure," he was wont to say, when any doubt was entertained of his veracity,
"as sure as there is a sea where the ship itself will grow in bulk like the living body
of the seaman."
About an hour ago, I made bold to thrust myself among a group of the crew.
They paid me no manner of attention, and, although I stood in the very midst of them
all, seemed utterly unconscious of my presence.
Like the one I had at first seen in the hold, they all bore about them the marks of a hoary
old age.
Their knees trembled with infirmity; their shoulders were bent double with decrepitude;
their shrivelled skins rattled in the wind; their voices were low, tremulous and broken;
their eyes glistened with the rheum of years; and their gray hairs streamed terribly in
the tempest.
Around them, on every part of the deck, lay scattered mathematical instruments of the
most quaint and obsolete construction.
I mentioned some time ago the bending of a studding-sail.
From that period the ship, being thrown dead off the wind, has continued her terrific course
due south, with every rag of canvas packed upon her, from her trucks to her lower studding-sail
booms, and rolling every moment her top-gallant yard-arms into the most appalling hell of
water which it can enter into the mind of a man to imagine.
I have just left the deck, where I find it impossible to maintain a footing, although
the crew seem to experience little inconvenience.
It appears to me a miracle of miracles that our enormous bulk is not swallowed up at once
and forever.
We are surely doomed to hover continually upon the brink of Eternity, without taking
a final plunge into the abyss.
From billows a thousand times more stupendous than any I have ever seen, we glide away with
the facility of the arrowy sea-gull; and the colossal waters rear their heads above us
like demons of the deep, but like demons confined to simple threats and forbidden to destroy.
I am led to attribute these frequent escapes to the only natural cause which can account
for such effect.—I must suppose the ship to be within the influence of some strong
current, or impetuous under-tow.
I have seen the captain face to face, and in his own cabin—but, as I expected, he
paid me no attention.
Although in his appearance there is, to a casual observer, nothing which might bespeak
him more or less than man—still a feeling of irrepressible reverence and awe mingled
with the sensation of wonder with which I regarded him.
In stature he is nearly my own height; that is, about five feet eight inches.
He is of a well-knit and compact frame of body, neither robust nor remarkably otherwise.
But it is the singularity of the expression which reigns upon the face—it is the intense,
the wonderful, the thrilling evidence of old age, so utter, so extreme, which excites within
my spirit a sense—a sentiment ineffable.
His forehead, although little wrinkled, seems to bear upon it the stamp of a myriad of years.—His
gray hairs are records of the past, and his grayer eyes are Sybils of the future.
The cabin floor was thickly strewn with strange, iron-clasped folios, and mouldering instruments
of science, and obsolete long-forgotten charts.
His head was bowed down upon his hands, and he pored, with a fiery unquiet eye, over a
paper which I took to be a commission, and which, at all events, bore the signature of
a monarch.
He muttered to himself, as did the first seaman whom I saw in the hold, some low peevish syllables
of a foreign tongue, and although the speaker was close at my elbow, his voice seemed to
reach my ears from the distance of a mile.
The ship and all in it are imbued with the spirit of Eld.
The crew glide to and fro like the ghosts of buried centuries; their eyes have an eager
and uneasy meaning; and when their fingers fall athwart my path in the wild glare of
the battle-lanterns, I feel as I have never felt before, although I have been all my life
a dealer in antiquities, and have imbibed the shadows of fallen columns at Balbec, and
Tadmor, and Persepolis, until my very soul has become a ruin.
When I look around me I feel ashamed of my former apprehensions.
If I trembled at the blast which has hitherto attended us, shall I not stand aghast at a
warring of wind and ocean, to convey any idea of which the words tornado and simoom are
trivial and ineffective?
All in the immediate vicinity of the ship is the blackness of eternal night, and a chaos
of foamless water; but, about a league on either side of us, may be seen, indistinctly
and at intervals, stupendous ramparts of ice, towering away into the desolate sky, and looking
like the walls of the universe.
As I imagined, the ship proves to be in a current; if that appellation can properly
be given to a tide which, howling and shrieking by the white ice, thunders on to the southward
with a velocity like the headlong dashing of a cataract.
To conceive the horror of my sensations is, I presume, utterly impossible; yet a curiosity
to penetrate the mysteries of these awful regions, predominates even over my despair,
and will reconcile me to the most hideous aspect of death.
It is evident that we are hurrying onwards to some exciting knowledge—some never-to-be-imparted
secret, whose attainment is destruction.
Perhaps this current leads us to the southern pole itself.
It must be confessed that a supposition apparently so wild has every probability in its favor.
The crew pace the deck with unquiet and tremulous step; but there is upon their countenances
an expression more of the eagerness of hope than of the apathy of despair.
In the meantime the wind is still in our poop, and, as we carry a crowd of canvas, the ship
is at times lifted bodily from out the sea—Oh, horror upon horror! the ice opens suddenly
to the right, and to the left, and we are whirling dizzily, in immense concentric circles,
round and round the borders of a gigantic amphitheatre, the summit of whose walls is
lost in the darkness and the distance.
But little time will be left me to ponder upon my destiny—the circles rapidly grow
small—we are plunging madly within the grasp of the whirlpool—and amid a roaring, and
bellowing, and thundering of ocean and of tempest, the ship is quivering, oh God! and—going
down.
NOTE.—The "MS.
Found in a Bottle," was originally published in 1831, and it was not until many years afterwards
that I became acquainted with the maps of Mercator, in which the ocean is represented
as rushing, by four mouths, into the (northern) Polar Gulf, to be absorbed into the bowels
of the earth; the Pole itself being represented by a black rock, towering to a prodigious
height.

Edis - An Reaction [Koreans Hoon & Cormie] / Hoontamin - Duration: 7:54.
We haven't watched any music videos lately
It's been almost a month
There were many things in between
Today we will watch a new music video
That was recommended by Turkish subscribers
Edis' new song
Over almost a month already
But a new song for us
Right, a new song
Cormie likes 3 guys in the world
Maluma from Colombia
Maru from Vietnam
The other one is Edis from Turkey
I like Edis most recently
Oh my gosh
Looking at his instagram
Let's watch
He is so handsome
I think his hairstyle has changed
He lowered bangs, so cute
The song doesn't come in my ears
I only look at Edis
I love this style
Why did I fall into him?
Very handsome
He looks a little handsome this time
Really handsome, isnt it?
I know he was born in 1982
I know he was born in 1990
I don't know well the age of foreigners
So good to see his face
Very handsome
This scene is so good
This part is so nice
Why?
Really handsome
I think he looks better than before
Edis' song, overall
Calm like a ballad
His music video I watched first was impressive
So I expected exciting song
Are you bored?
Personally
In this case
Maybe similar in music videos around the world
If I know the lyrics, then enjoying the lyrics
It would be nice to enjoy with the melody
Even if we prepare to interpret the lyrics
It's not easy to watch music videos while feeling the lyrics
Actually there is a limit to react in this case
It's just to me
But today Cormie reacted differently
I have to change the title to "Cormie's reaction to Edis' new song"
So handsome, I will listen to this song again on Youtube Red
But I can only see his face honestly
Very good
There is an axis of handsome guys in the world
Maluma, Maru, and Edis
'Axis of handsome guys' of Cormie
I don't know if his hair grows
But his hair was short in his instagram
I can define this song in one sentence
Of Edis
By Edis
For Cormie
I love the way his face was magnified
He is so handsome
I want to applaud
He is lying down and looking at the camera, it's so handsome
Not a reaction to the music video, but a reaction to Edis
As you know, Cormie loves Maluma, Maru, and Edis
So I asked once
"Cormie, how do you love Edis?"
Then Cormie replied that
"If with this guy, I can get married"
I really want to go to Turkey
Subscribers, please invite Cormie to Turkey once
If you invite me also, I will film the video
"Cormie's Turkey travel" will be so interesting
If you use YouTube Red, you can get free music
I looked out the window, listening to Edis' song in the taxi
It was really nice
Very good
Let's go to Turkey soon
The cost is paid by each of us
You go to Edis concert and enjoy
Then I film the travel vlog video
And I will meet our fans of Hoontamin
Sounds great, Edis' concert
I will find out once
It was interesting
His face is interesting

Wearing Only Things I've Made for an Entire Week ✂️ - Duration: 22:13.
This video is supported in part by Skillshare.
What's sewing on everyone?
So I'm currently still dressed in my pajamas for reasons that will become clear in just a second.
So basically, I want to make a video where for an entire week
I wear nothing but handmade clothes.
So what you see here on this rack is everything that I have either made from scratch or
significantly up-cycled over the last couple of years excluding some of the more...
"Interesting" make-thrift-buy items,
and there's a couple of things that I haven't kept because I didn't wear them, but this is all the handmade
stuff that I like and have kept. I was actually pretty impressed. There's like maybe 30 or 40 items here
so I'm going to wear handmade outfits for an entire week excluding socks, shoes, and
underwear because I just I haven't made enough of those for an entire week's worth of outfits.
Things would get pretty grimy pretty quickly. And I am allowed to repeat items in outfits
and one of the main reasons that I'm doing this
is to see what my handmade wardrobe is missing, what items I need to make more of, as well as what items
I'm choosing to wear again and again. Items I should make more copies of in different fabrics.
Hopefully I can keep this up for seven days. Let's get started!
So today is Saturday, it's a kind of mild temperature outside 20 degrees.
It's been raining on and off and the sun's been coming out now and again
so I probably want to find an outfit where I've got like a light shirt
but also a sweater or something in case it gets colder later on. Okay, so
here's like a little brief flip through of my
handmade stuff. You'll get to see more of this in the coming week,
but I think I'm gonna wear today is this top that I-
no I'm not because it needs washing!
Okay, I'll wear that another day. What I'm going to wear today is this cute t-shirt and I'm gonna find some pants...
I really haven't made that many pants. I think I'm gonna find that that's something I need to make more of.
These are probably my favorite comfy pair of pants that I have made from a Tilly and the Buttons pattern and
I'm going to layer with this sweater in case I get cold and you know what?
I think this outfit would look cute with a beanie as well so. Gonna throw that in there as well.
I didn't sew it, but I crocheted it so it definitely counts. Okay. Let's see what the outfit is gonna look like.
[Funky music]
I'm mostly just working today answering some emails,
editing some videos, and this is a very comfy outfit-
This is a very comfy outfit to do that in.
These lounge pants are very good for lounging in. I also have not bothered with
makeup 'cause I'm not going out anywhere.
But if I do go out later
we'll do some matching makeup to my hand-made outfit and show you all. By the way
in case you couldn't see it clearly before this is what it says on the front of my shirt.
Yeah, I added this with fabric transfers. I don't know why but it works.
Hello. We're going out for dinner.
Mum: Why does it every trip out with you become a filming opportunity?
Annika: ...'Cause I'm just brilliant and creative!
Mum: Gets it from me.
Both: Laugh
Okay good morning good morning.
We have to pick an outfit. We're going to the markets today and it's going to be about 21 degrees
so we have to pick something warm and
comfy. Okay 21 is probably warm if you live in like England or something
but that's kind of cold for Australia and it's
15 to 21. 21 is the maximum so it probably won't even get up to that.
So I'm probably gonna wear something with tights.
Okay, so I have realized
that I am gonna be wearing this a lot because it's the only warm thing that I have actually made ever.
Yes, the only sweater top that I've ever made so I'm gonna wear that layered over
this is one of my favorite dresses that I've made which is from one of my tutorials.
I'm gonna wear this and finally I'm gonna wear this handmade beret
as well and I'm gonna wear some tights under the dress, too. All right, let's see how that looks.
[Funky music]
I decided that I'm gonna wear my fanny pack too 'cause that just seems like a useful thing to have at a market.
It's easy to access money and
because it's a food markets I'm going to bring my "hand"bag with me because it's just a big good-sized
canvas bag.
We're off to the markets woohoo! And I forgot to mention earlier
I actually handmade these earrings too.
I thought they were appropriate for food markets because they're little forks.
Oh my gosh- wah!
Are you the sweetest thing? Ah, I'm so happy right now!
Oh, you're gorgeous, yes you are.
What a successful trip.
Annika bought so much fabric didn't she Ella? She bought a whole bag of fabric. Oh no. Ohhhh no.
Morning everyone so um, it is Monday and it is raining a lot today, but it's kind of warm?
So I'm like, I don't know what I'm gonna wear. I don't- I haven't made anything that's waterproof.
So, let's see what I can pick out today to wear. I actually realized that I have a cardigan or two in here
so I'm not gonna have to wear the pink jumper every single day.
Although it is pretty cute, but that's gonna get a bit boring after a while.
Okay, so let's choose something to wear. Remember this make-thrift-buy?
It was like make-thrift-buy 35 or something?
I'm gonna wear this t-shirt today. It's actually not too cropped. So my belly's not gonna be freezing. Yay!
I really need to make myself some non crop tops. What else am I going to wear?
[Funky music]
I'm not having a great day.
I'm soooo tired, but
you know what? These pants are great for layin around in. Lounge pants! I'm on the lounge. Mm-hmm. Oh, that wore me out.
Hello everyone, today it is Tuesday, and I just attempted to dye my hair purple, but I didn't have enough dye
so I diluted it a lot with conditioner and now it's very silver purple. I'm not sure if it's gonna work.
Anyway, I'm gonna choose a hand-made outfit.
It is...
The forecast said it'd be raining, but it is very warm and sunny. It's very nice.
So I think I'm gonna wear like a top like this. I upcycled this in the challenge I did
with April a couple of- last year? Year before that? And it would look pretty nice with this skirt.
So I'm gonna go ahead and throw that outfit on. I'll be back in a sec. Okay, sad news: the top is good
But this skirt hella doesn't fit since I changed weight. It looks alright. I tried to belt it up
but then at the back it's like all bunches up at the back there, which doesn't look awesome, so
I'm gonna change. I'll try and find something else that goes with this top.
[Funky music]
And just in case I get cold I'm taking with me this cardigan that I up-cycled for an art show a
year ago. It says the future is accessible on the back.
Quote made popular by Annie Segarra who is a disability youtuber on YouTube -
obviously. Well, okay my hair dye didn't work that well,
but my outfit's very cute, so I'm gonna go out and
sit in the sun somewhere because I need some sunlight.
Vitamin D. And here's what it looks like with the cardigan on. Cute cute cute outfit I think and-
sparkly shoes! Sparkly shoes!
Well, hello, it is Wednesday and it's time for another
morning of trying to figure out what to wear.
So let's try find something. Now, it's annoying because I've made lots of dresses but
It's only 23 degrees. It's not super warm.
I want to keep my shoulders covered but a lot of the dresses I've made do not have sleeves.
I'm definitely going to have to make more pants and more skirts and more dresses with sleeves.
That's something I am noticing. Ok.
I decided on a off-shoulder crop top, a white one that I made. I made a tutorial for this recently,
it's make-thrift-buy 65, and this floral pinafore, which I made for a make-thrift-buy like some years ago
And for some reason I have not worn this enough like at all.
So this is actually a pretty cute combo I think. And with the beret too - I like it.
And then to go full granny-chic because
it is forecast to rain today, I've got this floral cardigan that I can put over the top
so basically it looks like a granny cardigan over your grandma's couch.
[Funky music]
Annika: We are so cute!
Luci: Hey guys, welcome to Luci's vlogs,
the behind the scenes expose of Annika's real studio.
Who does she have in here making the clothes for her?!
[Annika laughs off-screen]
Hello everyone, it's Thursday and
I'm really grumpy today. I was in pain all last night and it's just put me in a real angry state
I've been listening to Nirvana and Rage Against the Machine all morning.
So I think today I feel like more of a
neutral-toned outfit, not something super pink and dolly-like, like yesterday.
I think I'm gonna put on something with black and
grey, I'm thinking maybe this.
This black lace singlet top layered over a shirt like this or another t-shirt. It'll be good. It'll be very...
angsty.
[Funky music]
I like this little sneaky boob alien kind of like poking out from underneath there. Like did I see an alien? Okay.
Here's my final
outfit for today, it's quite different from every other day's outfit, but it suits my mood, man.
I've got greasy-ass hair today, but I also decided that just goes with the aesthetic. I don't have to shower.
[Heavy metal music]
At uni.
Luci: Uni?
Annika: You-knee! I'm going to class now. Bye.
Luci: Byeee.
[Funky music]
I'm not grumpy anymore because I had a really good class.
Gooood morning! It is Friday, which means it is the last day of the challenge!
So initially
I thought this challenge was gonna be hard
But now I'm actually bummed about the things that I didn't get to wear including banana dress,
gingham dress made from bed sheets, popsicle dress, these overalls.
Today's gonna be a warm 27 degrees. It's hot. It's sunny.
I'm also on a bunch of extra medicines today because I'm having my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow.
Yay! If this video is being uploaded the surgery went well.
Anyway, I want to wear something light, comfortable, colorful, and cute so -
Let's get the outfit!
[Singing] Da da da daaa! Remember this t-shirt from day one?
I washed it and I'm going to pair it with these shorts which we have already seen with an outfit.
But they're very comfortable and they have pockets so.
[Funky music]
Today I have done a lot of...
Hashtag laying but slaying. I'm not feeling great from the medicines, but that's okay,
and I feel like because I'm vlogging my week
I have to be busy and always doing things every day so that it's interesting -
but actually that's just my anxiety.
Anyway, my outfit's very cute, and I look very cute and I'm just gonna lay here and
then I'm gonna have some dinner and then I'm going to watch a movie
and that's all I'm gonna do tonight. And that's okay.
Here's my outfit. It's very comfy for laying around in. [Laughs]
Looking back at the items I chose to wear for the week
I have realized that I mostly wear things that either have no pattern on the fabric
or just a subtle pattern on them, like these
plaid pants. Now,
this is at odds with most of the things in my handmade wardrobe,
which are covered in patterns and novelty prints.
This suggests to me that I should be making more things out of plain fabrics
or at least using more subtle prints that go really well with a lot of other colors.
So no more making things out of bright obnoxious statement fabrics,
at least not as much because I won't wear them.
I also chose to wear this pink sweater two out of the seven days
but I would have worn it more if I wasn't worried about it getting boring.
I love this sweater. It's really easy to layer
so I'll probably make more sweaters using this pattern, which is a self drafted pattern.
I also think that I need to make more outerwear in general.
I'm gonna get a head start now for winter, which is a whole eight months away for us here in Australia
so I've got plenty of time to work on that.
I also think I should make more pants with this pattern (A Tilly and the Buttons pattern). Again,
I wore these pants two out of seven of the days and I would have worn them a lot more if I'd have them in
other prints. The subtle tartan print on these pants goes with a lot of different outfits
so I need to make another pair or two or three using fabrics that are similarly versatile.
Also, I rediscovered how cute these shorts are!
I made a pattern for these shorts almost two years ago
And I'm totally gonna use it to make more of these shorts
maybe with a pastel pink or a subtle plaid or gingham fabric.
Because they're super comfortable and most importantly - they have pockets!
I also noted that I mostly chose to wear clothes that were loose-fitting
and comfortable so I should continue making things that are
loose-fitting. I shouldn't be adding any tight-fitting things to my handmade wardrobe.
Oh and I need some more tops. As much as I love crop tops, I need to focus on making some tops that are
not cropped. I really need to make myself some non crop tops. Oh also more fanny packs!
I definitely need to make fanny packs in colors other than pink.
This one only goes with a few different colors of outfits
But I want to make a wider range in different colors
because they're really handy and they also I just really like how they look
So this challenge has allowed me to figure out what clothes
I actually like and wear the most which has been really enlightening
because now I know what I should focus on actually making.
I always thought that I was someone who really loved
novelty prints and loved wearing novelty prints
but now that I know what I know, I should stay away from the whole novelty fabric
print section at the fabric store or
the thrift shop because while I am drawn to them at fabric stores, in practice
I actually don't wear them that much-
always learning things about myself!
And now a message from our sponsors. In the spirit of learning something
new, learning more about yourself and what you can do,
I have a sponsor to bring you today who aims to do just that -
which is to teach you a new skill. Whether your passion
is in fashion and design or something totally different like animation, film production, music, illustration,
crochet, photography, social media, running your own business,
Skillshare has the resources to teach you how to do it. So here's a fun fact about me:
I have learned pretty much everything that I know about sewing, about fashion, about design from the internet.
I have never taken a course or a class.
I am totally self-taught. What I like about Skillshare is that it takes the work out of searching for
different quality tutorials
online and instead it brings all the resources that you need to learn a skill into the one place on its website and that website
is called Skillshare! What I really like about Skillshare is that it is not
expensive. A premium membership is just under $10 a month
which in most countries is literally thousands of times less than enrolling in a college course to learn essentially the same skills.
It's also flexible. You can do it in your own time at your own pace, which is another great thing about it.
They even have some free classes on there too! I believe strongly in affordable accessible quality
education and that is what Skillshare believes in too.
Education is a really empowering thing and Skillshare can give you the skills and tools that you need to unlock your
opportunities and do the kind of work that you want to do. So Skillshare has given me a link so that the first
500 people who use it will get not one but two free months of premium membership.
So that gives you access to all of the videos on Skillshare
for free for two months so you can try out Skillshare
totally risk-free. You can cancel at any time for two whole months
All you got to do is click the link in the description box below to get started.
Thank you so much to Skillshare for supporting this video and thank you so much to all of you for supporting the companies that support
this channel so that I can continue to bring the internet free fun and mostly educational content.
I'll see you all in my next video, which I promise will be the make thrift try challenge!
Thank you to everyone who entered for being really patient with me while I got that video up and running.
I am very excited to show you all of the super cool makes that this community has made. That's it for me.
I hope you enjoyed this video and I hope you're all having a really good day.
Bye! Thank you to all of my supporters on patreon and Ko-fi for making this video possible.

Mini-Review | 2019 Fleetwood IROK | A Quick 5 Minute Overview of A Promaster Class B Camper Van - Duration: 4:27.
Hi everyone!
Neil Balthaser here and welcome to Ultramobility Mini-Review where I cover just the essentials
in a 5 minute RV review.
Today we're doing an overview of a class B camper van that many of you may not have heard
of: a 2019 IROK by Fleetwood.
The IROK is the only class B built by Fleetwood and it's on the RAM Promaster 3500 chassis.
That means it's just an inch shorter than 21 feet coming in at 20' 11".
That's still a manageable size and you shouldn't have much of a problem driving it around like
a normal van and fitting in standard parking spaces.
It's designed for 2 people but there are an additional 3 seatbelts in the back: none of
which are 3-pt seatbelts.
The IROK competes with a whole host of other class B vans built on the Ram Promaster chassis
including: Roadtrek's Zion and Simplicity models, Pleasureway's Lexor, Winnebago's Travato
lineup and Hymer's Aktiv line.
As far an engine specs: the Promaster is powered by a 3.6L V6 Pentastar gan engine with a 6
speed transmission that delivers 238hp and 260 ft. lbs. of torque.
This is not a 4 season coach which means that its water lines and tanks are exposed to the
elements and you will need to winterize it to avoid any cracked pipes.
On the inside you get two layout options: a rear sofa bed/lounge or a rear twin bed
configuration.
In both configurations your galley is along the driver's side and your bathroom midsection
along the passenger's side.
The galley has everything you need including a compressor refrigerator, convection microwave,
a standard induction cooktop and a sink.
The bathroom is a 3 piece wet bath which means the shower, toilet and sink share the same
space.
A pedestal table can be setup in the back and the table top does have 4 integrated cup
holders.
And in the sofa/bed configuration the sofa electrically reclines to convert your lounge
into a bedroom.
Up front the two cab seats swivel around but there is no pedestal table.
You have 2 interior wood décor options, both dar: walnut burl and black burl.
Fleetwood is trying to appeal to a younger market with the exterior detailing on the
IROK.
Breaking from the trend of minimizing exterior graphics the IROK features some graphics and
stylized IROK branding.
They've also upgrade the standard Promaster wheels to give the coach a different feel.
The granite crystal metallic exterior paint coupled with the black wheels and tinted wheels
definitely has a stealthy look.
The IROK comes standard with some nice upgrades like: multiplex wiring, a black tank flush
system and holding tank heating pads.
Additionally, Fleetwood offers both a 300ah (3600wh) and 600ah (7200wh) lithium battery
and electrical system upgrade by Xantrex.
The IROK comes with a 3 year 36,000 mile coach warranty.
And far as price the MSRP for the base model IROK is $114k but as of the date of this video
I've seen dealer advertised prices for a base model with optional rear and side screen doors
going for $98k.
If you're in the market for a gas powered class b van that has a respectable warranty
and comes in under $100k then you should check out my full review of the IROK coming up next
week where I go into a lot more detail and give you my final buying recommendation.
Okay that about wraps it up.
if you enjoyed this week's mini-review then give me a thumbs up; subscribe and ring that
little bell to be notified when news like this drops on my channel and thanks for watching
Ultramobility Mini-reviews where I cover just the essentials in a 5 minute review.
We'll see you next time.

Meet Kirito! - An Introduction - Sword Art Online Wikia - Duration: 2:35.
Meet Kirigaya Kazuto!
Kazuto, also known as Kirito in the various Virtual Worlds he finds himself in, is the
main character of the Sword Art Online series.
Having distanced himself from his family, Kazuto had found peace in games and eventually,
in the Virtual World of Sword Art Online, the first Full Dive experience in the form
of a VRMMORPG, when he managed to become one of the 1000 Beta Testers.
2 months after the Beta period was concluded, the boy with black hair got what he was waiting
for.
Another chance to become Kirito arrived with the full release of Sword Art Online, featuring
the grand castle of Aincrad floating high up in the sky, with all 100 Floors to be conquered
by the players.
He put on his NerveGear and dived back onto the floating castle of Aincrad.
He claimed that he felt more alive in VR than he did back in the real world.
A person with the player name "Klein" came across Kirito and asked for his help,
trusting the confident movement and behaviour of the boy who looked different than Kazuto.
Kirito decided to show this Full Dive newcomer the ropes and hung out with him, until it
was time to head back to the real world.
But the duo came to a grave realization after these mere hours.
The log-out button was nowhere to be seen and Kirito knew of no other way of forcing
a log out on a NerveGear.
They were teleported to the starting area, along with every other player, by the person
who created this virtual world, Kayaba Akihiko.
The GM Avatar controlled by Kayaba explained that the residents were not allowed to leave
the game until they cleared the Ruby Palace on top of the 100 Floor Castle.
Kirito was even more shocked to learn that death in Aincrad, meant death in real life,
as Kayaba explained he programmed the NerveGear to fry the users' brains upon death.
But it was the final act of Kayaba before the GM Avatar disappeared that solidified
the boys perspective to this Virtual World.
A mirror appeared in Kirito's hand as light engulfed his body.
When it subsided, he looked at the mirror in utter shock, as he came eye to eye with
the person looking back through the mirror.
It was Kirigaya Kazuto staring back at him.
Virtual World of Sword Art Online, had just become the reality of the 10.000 players trapped
inside Aincrad…

Life Update! I published an English book!? 嬉しい発表!英語の本を作りましたよ!? - Duration: 7:36.
hey guys how's it goin it's Michaela and today I'm wearing this just fleece
hoodie I bought in Thailand it's actually like the only thing I can wear
on days like this because we're now at the part of fall in Japan where it's
like when the Sun is out it's really really warm and then when the wind blows
it's like freezing cold and when the Sun Goes Down you die so personally like I
like the hoodie up I think it's really cute but I think that's not how I want
to make this whole video so I'm gonna take it down that's better anyway if
you've been following me on social media the past week or so I've been hinting
that I had an announcement to make and I think that today it's going to be the
day that I I finally let you know what that is so the thing that I have been a
little bit nervous and excited to announce is that as of last week I
became a published author it's weird right so at the beginning of this year
the Japan Times approached me with this idea they wanted to create a social
media English book for people who wanted to write captions or you know write
short sentences and put them out there online and yeah we work together to
create this cute little Instagram based caption book so the book itself is
pretty straightforward it has a photo and then it has a caption just like
Instagram would and the caption is very easy but its native fluent English and
then down below we have other words that you can replace in the sentences to
customize them and make them more relevant to you so every page is a
different photo and a different sample caption because that's how books work
and when I thought of these sentences and when I thought of the examples I
thought about how when studying a foreign language a lot of phrase books
tend to shy away from like negative opinions or negativity and I think that
self-expression is really important so if you went somewhere and it wasn't that
great you should be able to be like oh you know this spaghetti was disgusting
or you know like this restaurant was overrated this one wasn't this one was
great but for example if you like to a restaurant that wasn't that great you
could be like oh it was overrated it was pretentious it was okay you know
I just want to give people options self-expression is really important
there are a lot of Fukuoka related photos because that's where I
and obviously I have a bias and I love coca so there's a bunch of that there's
a whole chapter dedicated to kitten lawn and pet photos but that's not all I also
have you know lists of hashtags that you can use per category I have the apps
that I use to edit photos on my phone tips for taking photos tips for learning
English apps that I recommend for learning English and a bunch of stuff
that I don't know hopefully Japanese people are going to find useful oh and
there's a hashtag so for language learners who want to study and actually
use these captions or make their own captions and practice their English
through Instagram there's a hashtag in this book and if you use that hashtag I
will be able to check the post and I can like them I can comment I can interact
with them and see them for myself and if you want me to check them you know I can
send suggestions or corrections or I can ask you questions about your photos if
you want me to directly interact with the photos that you upload in English
you can use the hashtag any way it was a really cool project and now that it's
like a real thing and it's like in my hands and it's so smooth to touch and
the colors are vibrant and popping and you know they've done a really great job
with the design it did not look like that at all when I submitted it to them
so they really cleaned it up and made it look beautiful and I'm very thankful for
that but yeah it's out and if you're in Japan you can find it in I think I found
it in the English learning section at the bookstore that I went to the other
day if you do see it in the wild take a photo and let me know because I actually
don't know how many copies are out there and I don't know like how it's being
displayed everywhere I have found it in Fukuoka at bookstores in tangent and
stuff and that's really exciting um but yeah for those of you who don't
really want to look for it and you just want to buy it first of all thank you
that's really really cool of you umm second of all is yeah it's
definitely quicker and easier to find it on Amazon so check the link in the
description if you want to order a copy that's that Instagram English my first
book my name is on it my photos are in it my dog is in it my cat is in it I'm
very very happy about this thank you to the Japan Times for collaborating with
me on this project anyway so that's one thing that has been happening lately
that is citing the others I've been traveling a
lot lately finally again as you guys know I went to Kochi with Sharla and
that was a lot of fun we had a great time exploring Shikoku and I had never
been to Kochi and I had no idea that it was so beautiful and I ate so much
consul that I had to like go on no fish diet for like two weeks before I could
eat fish again not because the consul was gross but because I had it literally
like three times a day and by the end I was just like next week I'm gonna have a
video up with Kim Dao in Tokyo lens and that's very exciting we went and
explored greater Tokyo which I realized is ironic considering Sharla and I also
made a video where we talked about why you shouldn't go to Tokyo but yeah that
was also very fun and it was very fast-paced and hectic I finally got to
go to mount to kaol which I know about from Sharla's videos and I've always
wanted to check it out and it was really nice that video will be up next week I
think I don't know I haven't made it yet but I will after this goes up I promise
that's that's gonna be on next on my list of things to do next week I'm going
on a trip around Kyushu so that will be fun
and after that I don't know I think I might be doing a little bit more
traveling before the year is up and I'm really excited to kind of like get out
there and take more photos and you know see more of Japan cuz I feel like a lot
of this year I spent at home kind of being a shut-in being a mopey shut-in
because uh I don't know uh why I don't know sometimes my feelings get the best
of me and I don't feel like doing anything at all this is Sarah and you
might remember her from a few videos ago and if you haven't seen that video you
might be surprised to know that we have a new dog but this is sad and she's
wearing a sweater because I tried to cut her hair myself and I did a very
terrible job and then I had to shave it all off and now her hair is quite short
and I'm worried that it's a little too cold now for her to be as hairless as
she is I know that some people don't like having dogs with clothes but I feel
like in this case like this nice little fleece is keeping her warm because I
made a mistake and I will not try to cut her hair myself ever again anyway I'm
gonna take these guys for a walk and there's a coffee
place that I like to go to what I'm walking them so I'm gonna stop by there
and get a coffee and then I'm gonna edit this and I'm gonna put it online and
I'll see you guys tonight all except if you're seeing it you're
seeing me now and then I'll see you again next week when I upload the
greater Tokyo video with Tokyo lens and Kim Dao and that will be exciting too
and if you live in Japan and you see my book let me know send me a photo on
Instagram and tag me put it in your story I don't know just like show me I
want to see it cuz it just it doesn't feel real to me even though the thing is
it's here and it's in my hand and it's a real like tangible thing it doesn't feel
real to me so yeah if you do see it in the wild send me a photo let me know
anyway thank you so much for watching and I will talk to you guys again soon
bye
you
