Hey guys, so we're just in Croatia, we're in Zagreb, we are in our Airbnb

So I think I'm going to take a pregnancy test today.

So, when we were in China a month ago

we bought a bunch of cheap ones and I just -- I'm getting all these symptoms

and I don't know pregnant or my mind is playing tricks on me, but I was like

You know what? I'm just going to take a test. I'm only about nine days DPO (days past ovulation) so it is still pretty early to test

So I'm kind of expecting it to be negative

but I really want it to be positive so

we'll see. It's kind of scary if it is positive just because we're traveling

We've been traveling for the last four months and we have plans to travel for another 3-4 months

so if it's positive then we're going to have to change everything just for medical care. I mean we do have insurance, but

we'll see. We'll see what happens ah

It has a little plus or minus and it tells you the number of weeks. So if you're pregnant and if there's a number on it

then you're pregnant. So I'm gonna dip this into my pee which I still have laying out there and then um, see what it says - Just going to open this. So I am going to dip it in. - I want to be here.

If I had to send one message to Trump and his administration, I would say, 'let's do lunch.'

'Won't be erased' and 'si existimos' are just sort of like to reiterate the idea that we exist. We belong here too. We are still here.

You can't just erase us and we deserve to have equal rights and the ability to thrive.

Our experience is intersectional, so not only am I a trans person but I am a Latina person.

We, for too long, have lived in the society's shadows based out of fear and it's taken

us a really long time to stand in our truth and be proud of who we are.

I knew who I was at a very young age but I kept it a secret because I wanted to be

included and I think that that's something that can resonate with anyone

who's ever felt alienated, no matter what race, gender, religion, whatever it is.

Because if you can learn to respect an individual like myself, you can learn to

respect an individual of color or you know women's rights. And even though it

does hurt to feel like our existence is going to be erased, we are so resilient and

we're so strong that you know we're going to keep focusing on this fight.

I really wish that Trump would consider meeting with the trans community and

really understanding who we are, because he won't be able to relate to how we

think about our gender identity because he's not transgender.

I was tagged in a video that someone posted about the surgery from male to female.

The caption was something along the lines of, 'This should be illegal.' It really struck a

chord with me because I knew the girl that posted the video. We hung out, you know.

We're actually kind of friends. So, to see that ugly side come out just shows

how powerful this ignorance is and how this influence from our own president

does touch a lot of people who just don't know any better. You should take

into consideration how much you know about the topic or how much you've been

exposed to the topic. If you don't know a trans person or don't have a trans

person in your life, you shouldn't be able to judge us or set rules for us.

You know, you should take a moment and think, 'Why do I feel so negatively about this

topic? Is it because I just don't know any better or is it because it

threatens me? And if that's the case, you should be doing like the inside work to fix that.

I believe that it's the government's job to protect the people and to keep us thriving as a nation.

This place was like a place of refuge. You know, yes, was it unfairly taken away from

Native American people? Absolutely, 100%. And that's why we have to make life

better for everyone. You know, that should be your only job, is protecting all

people that live in this nation and to continue to keep us safe, secure and

thriving. That's it. If you're doing anything extra, you're doing way too much.

Security officers are more important than people actually think because we're

the first responders, even before the police actually get here. We actually

stop a lot of things before they happen. We stop the fights, we stop

the weapons, we stop the drugs, we stop everything. We do our perimeter

checks, we make sure the outside of the streets is safe just as much as the

inside. We do our walkthrough to each class check on the teachers make sure

they're okay. I also go across the street to our elementary, check on their school

as well. People may think we just walking and not

doing, but we're actually walking and looking and observing and seeing which

kid is sitting by themselves or which kid is having a problem because that's

the kid who can come back and, you know, be very upset at a whole bunch of people.

And so we have to look out for things like that.

I'm Marvin Hatchet. I work for

Pasadena Unified School District and I work at Wilson Middle School.

I'm a Security Officer during the day and in the afternoon I do a performing arts

program at Wilson Middle School.

I played drums in high school. I was in the marching band, jazz band, orchestra. So I

grew up in it. Well, I realized that the security part is to keep them safe, but

after you keep them safe what do you do? And that's when God said, okay open up a

door and use your talent that you've given from in an industry to give back and

before you know it that's how the performing arts was born.

First part it seems like controlled chaos, but everybody knows where they're

going, everybody knows what they're doing. My stage crew, jump or band, dance all the

people will be here for today because we have a big performance coming up.

And playing an instrument, it builds your character, it builds your whole persona,

of who you are, it builds up all the stuff that you so quiet about. Even as

a listener in music you know you hear you get into it when you're playing it,

it takes you to another place that may have an opportunity to let things out

that you just want to let out. You know this is where kids want to come. You're

not forced to come. I had one kid that was a phenomenal player and he called me

back from high school. He said, "I just need to come in". And I said just come by.

He took his backpack off and he slammed it on the ground and he went straight to

the red drum set. So he's just going off, he's just going, going, going.

I'm playing with him, but I'm just watching and finally you could just see it.

It's like and afterwards he's just crying and he hugged me. "I needed that. I had no where to go.

I thought I was gonna, you know, go into something that was going to be bad".

And that's why our program is more, too. Just playing, more to just drums. And you can

see it in them. You can see it out there. And if 'each one teaches one' is true and

it spreads, it's gratifying to take a gift that God has given you and give it to

someone else considered good for me. A good day on a job is like sending the student home

with a smile on their face.

And knowing that I'd still accomplish

something for today. And they have a good day.

That's what's important, being a life-toucher.

We Time V1 + Foraging Chestnuts & Then Some - Duration: 19:56.

Hi there!

It's too cold brrr... though am inside our car

cause it's just 7 degree Celcius It feels the same as being in a fridge.

My car seat heating is set on 22 degree Celcius but it's too cold outside cause it's autumn

so I still feel cold.

I'm going to one of my favorite places here in Arnhem.

We're going to take a stroll there cause the place is like a forest.

It's also because I want to do some FORAGING.

Oh, word of the day = FORAGING ^ ^ What's that ?

It's equivalent word in Tagalog is to pick up some food from the ground.

I'm going to forage some CHESTNUTS.

We're going to forage .. I mean ... actually, I alone, am going to forage chestnuts

because my husband isn't a fan of it I'm going to forage some chestnuts because

... in the parking there (where we're going)

they have ..like .. one huge chestnut tree and the people here don't like chestnuts

My father would probably laugh at me for this.

My father would probably say; " my gosh daughter, what happened?"

"My prodigal daughter, you went to the Netherlands just to end up foraging?"

In the Philippines you don't go picking up food on the ground.

(that's not entirely true :D

my bad) People would probably look down on you

Okay.. it's like this .. Let me explain Papa, it abounds in chestnuts

here and the people here, don't bother picking

them up to eat them cause ...from what I know .. just from what I've been told.

Someone told me before .. there was a time when the Netherlands had

famine, too and all they could eat here ..

oh wait, let me show you the view...

I got distracted cause of the beautiful view .. anyway.. all they could eat here were just

chestnuts so the many don't like them but of course, not all of them, there are

those who do eat chestnuts but ... if .. like in this case, the tree's on a parking lot

and lots of them fall off there, nobody bothers foraging them but I find it a huge waste of

food cause in the Philippines it's a very expensive

commodity right?

In the Philippines, I think the chestnuts would cost .. I don't know ..I haven't been

back for a long time so I don't know anymore but probably a lot, these days right?

cause when I left ... I think half a kilo was like 70 pesos if you buy organic somewhere

in an expensive grocery store there.

But here, we just pick them up (literally from the ground).

We just forage them.

It's not just chestnuts that people forage here, they forage mushrooms in autumn also

... uhmmm...walnuts

which I used to do but these days I lost the time to do that

I got so busy I didn't get to forage walnuts like I did last year.

But now, I hope that there are still chestnuts there

because anyway it's warm and normally they fall off

when the leaves are already brown but right now look ...

it's still so green in Holland See ~~

because even if .. it's very cold though cause 7 degrees

but it's still summery (sunny) so we'll see if I can find

hopefully, I could and if I cannot forage chestnuts today

then .. you learned.. you had your word of the day - FORAGING

In Korea they eat the sort which they call "horse/ wild chestnuts" here, the bigger ones.

They roast that in Korea.

(I've had some in the Philippines, boiled ones.)

They eat that in Korea They even eat acorns there.

I just don't know how to turn acorns into ..

yes the acorn fruits.. they eat that in Korea.

They can make something like a rice cake . similar to a rice cake out of that..- amazing

yeah?

unfortunately, I didn't learn how to do that so (I can't)

but I wish I could Look .. I don't know if you could see that

on the car windows but it's still so green outside

even though it's already autumn.

The simple answer would be the 9 shadows are the 9 samurais that did work for Oden.

But since when prophecies are simple.

If the 9 shadows are the 9 samurais then this is not a prophecy but a spoiler.

First, I will talk about why I think that the 9 shadows are not the 9 Samurais and then

who I do think are the 9 shadows.

After lord Oden was executed Kinemon and the others went to the castle to protect Oden's

family, but Kaido did set it on fire and they were surrounded.

There was no way out for them.

Toki, the wife of Oden had the power of Time Time Devil Fruit so after seeing that there

is no other way out of this, she did send Momonosuke and the others 20 years into the

future.

But here's the thing, why exactly 20 years?

Is there a reason why she did choose this particular date?

Logically speaking it would make more sense if she did send them in the near future, like

6 months or a year.

This would be enough to gather an army and come up with strategies on how to fight back

against Orochi and take control of Wano.

Because the more time that it passes the more powerful Orochi will become, he will complete

his coup detat without any problem and consolidate his power in Wano.

A new government is at its weakest point at the beginning.

After 20 years even the people who did not like Orochi would get used to him being the

King.

And we saw the children in Wano being taught that Oden was evil and Orochi is the hero

who did save this country.

When the war will start these children will take Orochi's side.

These are just some of the reasons why it does not make sense for Toki to send them

20 years into the future.

So, did she make a mistake?

No, she did not.

Because the reason why I think she did send them 20 years into the future it has nothing

to do with Orochi and Kaido.

But 20 years in the future the 9 shadows that she is talking about will come in Wano.

The 9 shadows that Toki is talking about are the 9 Straw Hats that did come in Wano.

And that's why I think she did choose this specific date, because she knew the future

and she saw that the Straw Hats will fight against Kaido and Orochi for their own purpose.

So, this was the best option that she had.

When Luffy and Law were talking about taking down Kaido and Kinemon did hear them, he was

shocked.

What are the odds that they are not just talking about fighting his enemy but also the fact

that Kinemon did go out in search for people to help him fight against Kaido?

And right in front of him, they are talking about fighting Kaido.

Well, this was not a coincidence, this is the exact reason why Toki did send Kinemon

and the others 20 years into the future.

So, they can join forces with the Straw Hats because this is the only option for them to

Straw Hats.

This prophecy was mentioned a couple of times in only a few chapters from the people in

Wano so far.

The people there they expect the 9 people from the prophecy to save them from this situation

that they are in.

The Straw Hats did save several countries in the past and I think they will do the same

thing in Wano as well.

They are the ones who the people of Wano will see them as heroes who did save them.

when I'm cooking and now I'm holding it over here and i have seven seconds to

perform some sort of action to save myself what do I do

i pull up my phone do I call emergency no I took a selfie with all the blood

and I have so much pain and I capture it and then i spend the next five seconds

paking a filter posted it and now i'm dead oh my god the situation is so horrible

and inconvenience and we still spend time and energy for this selfie and to

posted it on Instagram you know why because of logic number two

the sleeping selfie appearantly I think that i'm sleeping beauty and I think my

photographer is Maleficent because when i sleep

people are watching over me to capture images. selfies with our eyes closed

pretending we are a sleep like why we do this why do I do this what do I think

APC Senators, Reps Attack Party, Say 'We're Not Better Than PDP'

Ibrahim who was a three-time governor of Yobe State said the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC was in many ways not better than the Peoples Democratic Party it defeated in 2015.

The APC senator spoke at a dinner to mark his 70th birthday and book launch at Barcelona Hotel in Abuja on Saturday.

Ibrahim said he, like most Nigerians, had a dream that the nation would be changed for the better when the APC took over in 2015, but that more than three years down the line, those hopes had been dashed.

He warned that unlike in 2015 when it had a smooth ride to power, the APC would have to do more to convince the people of the North-East to consider voting for it because a lot had changed.

The senator, who is a founding member of the APC, said, "Without mincing words, as an elder statesman, I must say that my dreams and hopes have been dashed.

"We have certainly not done what I dreamed we would do and in many ways, we are no better than the PDP that we seek to displace.

"As we move towards the elections, I have to give a dire warning to the APC. Things are no longer the way they were in 2015 when we rode to power on a cloud of euphoria believing that things will change.

Simply put, things have not changed and many things are worse and the people are bitter. We should not assume that we can win even with massive rigging.".

The senator, who is not seeking re-election following a political arrangement which saw him ceding his seat to Governor Ibrahim Geidam, said a lot of work was required if the APC was to return to power in 2019.

Ibrahim said, "The economy has gone down because of our actions and we are blaming the past too much rather than solving the present problems. I am going to give a dire warning.

"Let the North-East not be taken for granted that we must support the APC. Our interest in the North-East has always been progressive and I will personally be watching for improvement in the APC.

"Improvements that will guarantee us the victory (should) include respecting the rule of law and releasing political prisoners. If we are fighting corruption, let us fight every corrupt person and not select people in what may be seen as a one-sided witch-hunt.".

He added, "I shall sit back and continue encouraging my party to do the right thing.

But if we don't, I still reserve the capacity to ask my people to go our separate ways and do what must be done for good governance to reign in Nigeria.".

Ibrahim stressed that he had no reason to lie at his age. The senator described himself as a socialist progressive amidst politicians in the zone who were mostly capitalist conservatives.

Another APC senator who spoke on condition of anonymity because he claimed he did "not want to jeopardise ongoing peace efforts", said the party was toying with its chances in 2019 with its poor handling of the fallout of the primaries.

The lawmaker said, "The party has not lived up to our expectations, the least one expects of a political party like the APC which promised change is for it to respect the principle of internal democracy.

  A political party should respect the wishes of the majority of its members, not an individual. 'Our problems now worse than PDP's' –APC Rep.

Similarly, a member of the House of Representatives, Mr Kehinde Odeneye, has also expressed his bitterness over the turn of events in the APC.

Odeneye, who spoke on Sunday, warned that the party might be kicked out of office in 2019 if genuine efforts were not made to address the frustration of many loyalists.

Odeneye, who represents the Ijebu Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North-East Federal Constituency of Ogun State, told The PUNCH that National Assembly members were the most hit by certain developments in the party, lately, particularly their inability to get return tickets for 2019.

Odeneye alleged that many members worked for the success of the party on the promise that they would be compensated, only to have their hopes dashed.

He spoke more, "It's very unfortunate where we have found ourselves today. If we are not able to resolve the issues, they may affect our chances in 2019.

"A lot of people are aggrieved, most especially National Assembly members, who stood by the party. There was the promise of compensation but that has not been the case. The National Assembly members are the grass-roots people working for the party.".

The lawmaker hinted that President Muhammadu Buhari too was disturbed and had summoned another emergency stakeholders' meeting for Tuesday (tomorrow) to address some of the issues.

Odeneye added, "I understand Mr President is going to meet with the stakeholders on Tuesday to step in and discuss with everybody and see how to resolve all of these issues.

"My prayer is for him to have God's enablement to assuage the grievances of people; else winning in 2019 will require a lot of work.

 "The way things are, we have to be very careful. Our issues are so much that even PDP now has fewer problems, compared to the APC.

Ours is so much as in virtually all the states, there is one issue or the other.". He noted that the APC came into power and failed to manage its success properly.

"Unfortunately, we have not been able to manage our success. The same thing that happened to the PDP in 2013, 2014, is exactly what is happening to the APC. There is no equity and justice and fairness.

"The way the PDP is going, our own is even getting worse. There will be serious problems, there will be serious problems for us," he said. I fear for the APC –Imo Rep.

Also a House of Reps member from Imo State, Mr Nnana Igbokwe, also criticised the APC for applying "policies not known to law" in picking candidates for 2019.

Igbokwe who cited the crises in Imo, Zamfara, Rivers and Ogun State, noted that the APC "deliberately" breached the Electoral Act, the 1999 Constitution, the electoral guideline and its own constitution in deciding who would become a candidate.

He said, "In Imo State, are we saying that a man, who introduced this party should not have to say in its affairs?. "Governor Rochas Okorocha brought APC to the South-East at a time they were calling it Hausa party.

"He went around the states to sell this party. Today, look at what is happening. Where on earth do you substitute someone, who participated and won the primary, with the name of another person?".

Igbowe stated that he was afraid for the APC in 2019 if it continued to hold to some of the decisions it had taken lately.

"Some of these decisions will be thrown out by the Judiciary. We had better be careful because I fear for us, I fear for 2019", he added.

Igbokwe advised the APC to "retrace" its steps and correct some of the wrong decisions it had taken in the choice of candidates. Buhari takes over the peace process.

As the APC crisis deepens, President Muhammadu Buhari has taken over the process of restoring the confidence of aggrieved members of the party.

A top-ranking member of the party's National Working Committee confirmed the development to one of our correspondents in Abuja on Sunday. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to speak to the media on the issue.

The source said, "The President has chosen a different approach this time; he is meeting with the aggrieved persons directly so that he can deal with the situation.

"As you know, some of our party people go to tell him things and only the aggrieved can say what level of injustice they suffered. He even met with a delegation of aggrieved party members from Bauchi yesterday.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, confirmed this development in an interview with one of our correspondents in Abuja, on Sunday.

 Shehu spoke amidst media reports that Buhari had set up a five-man committee to look into the post-primaries crises and advise him accordingly.

 Media reports had it that the committee had since submitted its report to the President and that he (the President) would be meeting some critical stakeholders on Tuesday.

 Although he did not give details of Buhari's intervention, Shehu said the President was "deeply and directly involved" in the efforts aimed at ensuring peace in the party.

 The presidential spokesman added that Buhari's involvement was evident in some of his recent activities.  He said, "The President is aware of the urgency of the situation (the APC post-primaries crises) and he is dealing with the matter headlong.

"He is directly and deeply involved in how to resolve the issue as can be seen from his activities lately.

Speaking in a similar vein, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Yekini Nabena, expressed confidence that with President Muhammadu Buhari as its standard bearer, the party would retain power in 2019.

He said the task before the APC was made easier by the candidates being paraded by the opposition PDP.

Nabena spoke in Abuja, on Sunday. He said the last minute declaration of support for former Vice President Atiku by ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo would do nothing to stop Buhari's victory because neither Obasanjo nor Atiku could match Buhari's integrity.

He said "Throughout their second tenure in office, (2003-2007) and until a fortnight ago, former President Olusegun Obasanjo had described Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as a corrupt, disloyal and unpatriotic leader who was not fit and proper to handle the mantle of Nigerian leadership.

"Only recently, Obasanjo vowed that God would not forgive him if he supported the presidential aspiration of Atiku as 'it would amount to handing Nigeria over to sharks and looters.

"It is this tendency towards indecision, insincerity, double talk and deception that has made Nigeria ridiculed in the eyes of the international community. A statesman is known for his principles and his statements are based on the strength of his convictions.".

This came at a time, the Senator Representing the Zamfara Central in the Senate is seeking the immediate expulsion of the state Governor, Abdulaziz Yari, from the party.

Marafa, who is seeking the APC's governorship ticket to contest the 2019 elections, blamed the governor for the crisis which led to the Independent National Electoral Commission barring the APC from presenting candidates for the election in Zamfara.

The senator said expelling Yari was necessary "to stop the governor and his cohorts from their plot to pull down the APC and frustrate the second term bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said, "The governor should be expelled for (alleged) gross indiscipline and violation of our party constitution. The measure becomes necessary to maintain party discipline and deter others that may be tempted to take similar actions to achieve their selfish objectives.".

Marafa listed 10 alleged offences committed by Yari to include "Frustrating the efforts of NWC to conduct direct primaries for Zamfara State; directing state officials to conclude an election that was cancelled by a panel that has legal authority to do so; announcing the result of an illegal election conducted by his faction in violation of subsisting court order.

"Blocking APC's chances of fielding candidates by conducting and announcing (results of) an illegal election on 7th October 2018; causing disunity and disaffection among the APC family in Zamfara State; neglecting totally his primary responsibility of providing leadership in the face of wanton killings, raping and kidnappings of innocent people that he is being paid to protect, thereby portraying APC in bad light both locally and internationally.

Another offence allegedly committed by Yari, according to Marafa, is "spending of Zamfara taxpayers' money on the sponsorship of protests to remove the law-abiding National Chairman of our great party, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
