This is for college students in every state, every district, soon it'll be
that date when you pick which politician is representing your interests and,
honestly you may not see much promise in it. But this is to resist kids living at
a distance off at college getting knowledge feeling like your voice
isn't acknowledged, like the problems are too big and persistent, like politics
are too vicious. You're feeling too pessimistic. And with this midterm
election you're thinking, "Shit, it's back at home, and I'm away at school. I'll have
to miss it. Don't listen to that voice telling you
to give in to indifference and not fulfill your commitment as a citizen. And
we get it you got a lot on your plate as it is with the homework and clubs and
papers, but let us make this simple, if you care about health care or welfare or
abortion or sexual assault, hell there's terrorism the prison system the tuition
you spend on degrees, who oversees sending soldiers overseas, climate
change, minimum wage, if you're enraged and of the age to vote then why wouldn't
you, why shouldn't you get engaged. From access to guns to taxes and funds, for
academics, the opioid epidemic, transportation, education, immigration,
using torture and interrogation, the separation of church and state, the state
of the nation. What we're saying is it matters who's sitting in that seat, and you can't
influence none of that with a singular Tweet. You can get mad on Facebook, claim
you're "#woke", but if you don't vote it won't matter there's no hope. So let us
show you how you can cope with this. You may not be home for the election, but you
don't have to miss it. We realize this whole thing may seem pretty complex, so
let us break it down to a few easy steps. STEP 1: Print out the form for your absentee
ballot request, see voteremote.us gets it to you directly, and let me just
remind you you better be registered if you're set upon every word getting heard by
your senators. STEP 2: Fill out the information on that application if you're aiming to be
participating in this nation. Don't be hesitating, procrastinating or wasting
a moment 'cause we're the generation generating history, now own it.
STEP 3: Then place it in the mail addressed to your town hall or clerk do not fail. It
ain't that much work to research those details and slap it on the envelope. Don't
end your hope, you will prevail. STEP 4: In the time time while you're waiting for your
ballot to arrive, find out who's got your support, which candidate, man, damn it, you
can Google their stances. Their policies, you got to see them to vote properly
obviously. STEP 5: When you finally get your absentee ballot, this is your chance to see, grab
it, this ain't no fantasy. Have it in by your state's deadline. Double check
when that is online. This is your time. Listen to our rhymes. STEP 6: Mail it back well before
November 6th, be quick. Don't dismiss it or miss this, make your pick. Just send it
back to the same address, and yes, you've done it.
Don't stress. You can rest. You're the best.
Any questions you have about the process, check out voteremote.us. We're
not telling you who you should vote for, that's your call. Just make sure you do it,
'cause I don't know about y'all, but I'm out for senators to represent me. Yo, I'm out
for governors to represent me. Not just for presidents to represent me.
Nah-nah, I'm out for representatives to represent me! I'm out for senators to
represent me. I'm out for governors to represent me. Yeah, not just sort
presidents to represent me. I'm out for representatives to represent me! Yeah!

Jerry Garcia | An Estate Quagmire - Duration: 5:02.
Before he died of a heart attack while attending a drug treatment facility in August 1995,
Jerry Garcia, lead guitarist of the Grateful Dead rock band, was already a legend.
Thousands of fans, known as "Deadheads," followed Garcia and his bandmates to concerts
around the world.
Included among them were such celebrities as John Belushi, Jimmy Buffett, Al Gore, Steve
Jobs, Bill Clinton, and even the unlikely iconic newsman Walter Cronkite.
Jerry Garcia lived hard and died broke, according to his lawyer, but that didn't keep him
from bequeathing large sums of money he didn't have.
Between Garcia's bohemian lifestyle, multiple ex-wives, children, and step-children by spouses
and non-spouses, and a drug addiction that made him vulnerable to financial predators,
Garcia lived on the edge and took risks most people in his situation would never take.
Perhaps his worst mistake, at least from an estate perspective, was that he never consulted
with an attorney, and he did essentially no estate planning.
He was married three times, first when he was 21 to Sara Ruppenthal, who met Garcia
at a coffee house where he regularly performed.
Their marriage was short-lived because Garcia started dating Carolyn Adams, also known as
"Mountain Girl," and moved in with her when he was 24.
They had two daughters while both were married to other people.
Garcia then divorced his first wife to marry his second, but in the meantime, he met Deborah
Koons, an aspiring filmmaker, in 1973 when he was 31.
Garcia's relationship with Koons was on again/off again, and during one of their split-ups
he reconciled with Adams.
The two were married in 1981, in a union that was reportedly for tax purposes.
Whatever the reason, Adams and Garcia remained married until 1994, at which time Garcia divorced
Adams to marry Koons.
When Garcia died barely a year later, his third wife Koons became the executor of his
estate.
His will, like much of his life, was messy and chaotic.
More than $50 million in claims were made, against which the estate itself was ultimately
valued at no more than $9.9 million.
Most of Garcia's estate consisted of personal property, including art and a collection of
comic books.
One of the largest claims was made by Garcia's second wife, Adams, who produced a separation
agreement signed by Garcia 18 months before he died, that promised her $250,000 per year,
and up to $5 million in support.
She had reportedly drafted the agreement herself.
With no cash to fund the estate at the time, Koons reneged on the deal and was taken to
court by Adams.
The two parties ultimately reached a settlement of $1.2 million.
One of Garcia's daughters also made a claim against the estate, claiming that she was
left with very little inheritance, a dispute that was also eventually settled.
As befits a celebrity like Garcia, many colorful people came forward to state their claims.
Doug Erwin, his guitar maker, was left four guitars in his will, but Garcia's fellow
band members argued that the guitars were property of the band and not Garcia's personally.
Erwin sued the estate and eventually reached a settlement to receive two guitars which,
by the way, sold for nearly $2 million at auction.
It took nearly 9 years before Garcia's estate was finally settled, during which time Koons
was able to negotiate and whittle the $50 million in claims to less than $1 million.
A 2003 documentary, Can't Take It With You, details the topsy-turvy path of the late singer's
estate.
Garcia may not have been the best businessman, but before he died, he did make one licensing
deal that worked out well for his heirs and beneficiaries.
In 1987, the Vermont ice cream makers Ben & Jerry introduced their Cherry Garcia flavor
in homage to Garcia, for which the company continues to pay royalties to this day.
Ingrained as it is in modern culture, you might even say that Cherry Garcia Ice Cream
has become the cherry on top of Jerry Garcia's legacy.

Morning, Sister Wong -Morning
Hello. I am Jin Siyan
Hello, I'm Wu Peiying
Hello, I'm Rania -Hello
Are we expecting another colleague?
He's here
Good morning, babes
Sunny Boy is here
Hello. I'm Yuan Bin
I lead the CCT team
You may call me Mr Yuen
She's your team leader Sister Wong
Hello. I'm happy to be in your team
Please introduce yourselves
Hello. I'm Jin Siyan
I was a staff nurse with Ward C-11
Hello, I'm Wu Peiying
I've been with CCT for three months now
I was a staff nurse at the dialysis centre
Hello. I'm Rania
I've been with CCT for six months now
I was previously with ICU
Hello. Xia Yaoyang. I'm new to the hospital
You may call me Sunny
I did community health nursing for two years at Ji Huai Hospital
Prior to that, I was attached to Surgical Ward
I've been a ward nurse all this time
I'm new to community health nursing
I'm a greenhorn next to you
Sister Wong, you're too kind
We have a lot to learn from you
We'll meet every morning to discuss the CCT cases
We all come from different areas of specialization
I hope to see more interaction,
and sharing of experiences
Though it's nursing,
community health nursing and ward care have different aims
The job of a ward nurse...
is to provide treatment for the patients,
and ensure their discharge from the hospital
The role of a community health nurse...
is to assist, maintain and perpetuate...
good population health at the community level
The medical treatment will be designed in partnership with the doctors
But it's usually the nurse who will make house calls
That calls for quick on-the-feet thinking and decision-making
CCT will provide on-the-job training,
and enhance our knowledge and ability to adapt
Babes, may I join you?
Sure you may
You like your food so spicy?
I love my food spicy. The spicier, the better
I forgot to get a drink. Any for you?
Tea, thank you
And you? -It's OK. Thank you
I'd never imagine that a guy like him to be a nurse
You seem biased against him
Is there some misunderstanding?
Do you know about the tattoo on his right shoulder?
That's his private matter
If the tattoo doesn't show when he's in uniform,
it's fine
His background seems complicated
I saw him with a group of youngsters,
and a man who looked like a triad boss
They spoke to him with deference. They looked like a tight group
Did you see them break the law?
No
You're being subjective
You didn't see how he looked then
If you did, you'd agree with me
I can't pass comment as I didn't see it
Sunny is recognized for his good performance at work
What our eyes see may not be the whole truth
It takes time to know a person
We all have a story to tell
Perhaps I'm being subjective
Still, I find him flippant
As nurses, the impression we give others is very important
He's not doing our profession any favours
I'll speak to Sunny about it
After receiving the award,
you're starting to talk like a head nurse
Don't tease me
I can't believe this
You didn't tell me you'd got transferred here
Surprise
Stop it
How's your first day at work?
Nothing's too difficult for Sunny Boy
You're already a piece of work to begin with
I'm difficult? Speak for yourself
This is a warning
Keep our relationship from our colleagues
If they find out, I'll smack your lips
My most beloved Rainy Baby has spoken
Of course I'd say yes
Be serious. This is a hospital
Mr Fong, how are you?
I'll take your BP reading now
Mr Loh, how are you feeling today?
Much better
Good to know that
Nurse Yuan, do you have a girlfriend?
No
Are you going to introduce your daughter to me?
A pity that my daughter's married
Why hasn't she been visiting you?
Mine is a recurring ailment. I don't expect her to visit me
Mr Fong, your BP and heartbeat are normal
Sicknesses are afraid of doctors
Here at the hospital, I'm fit and well again
Yours is a minor ailment
You should be happy
Do you know how to do it?
Sorry
Your vein is a little fine, so...
Don't worry
Sister Sarah, do you need help?
Nurse Yuan!
Good to see you. Come here
This nurse doesn't know how to do it
She's so clumsy. She just can't get it right
You'll do it for me
Calm down. Don't disturb the other patients
It's OK
Mr Loh, I'm going to start
It's done
Mr Loh, you may rest now
Nurse Yuan, you were fast and spot-on
I can't say the same for her
Thank you for your compliment
Hello, Sister
Mr Fong, how are you today?
I'm good? -Good?
Hi, Mr Yuen
You did well just now
Thank you, Sister Sarah
Drawing a patient's blood is a nurse's basic duty
Nothing to feel proud about
Mr Fong
You're looking good today
Dr Tan says you're doing well
You'll be discharged soon
But I still have a headache
My heart is beating very fast, and my chest still hurts a little
My limbs feel weak, too
Mr Fong, your BP and heartbeat are normal
Don't you wish to go home?
Jin Siyan, right?
Who'd have thought we'd become colleagues?
I'm surprised, too
Is there some misunderstanding between us?
Not when you've nothing to give others the wrong idea about
You let Fatty Da off,
and you tended to my injury
So I'll let things slide
You have such a strong sense of justice,
and you like poking your nose into people's affairs
You'll make a good police officer
Why are you in nursing instead?
Now who's the nosey one?
So why are you in nursing?
I was often injured, and hated going to the hospital
So I learnt how to dress my wounds
I got better with practice, and so I became a nurse
You get injured despite having so many underlings
I didn't have underlings in the past
Fatty Da and gang are softies
They lack the gumption to hack people
But they're good at collecting debts
What debts?
I can't tell you...
unless you're one of us
It's OK. You don't have to tell me
I'm not one of you
We met before and you tended to my injury
We're working in the same hospital now, and in the same team no less
What does that tell you?
It tells you that we share an affinity
Since that's the case, we should learn to get along
Get to know each other better, right?
It's OK
Like you said, we share an affinity
Just go with the flow
We needn't try too hard
Let's just stay as colleagues
Yuan Kai, you could locate the super fine vein
How did you do it? Teach me
Exactly, Yuan Kai
Mr Loh was singing praises of you
He said you needed just one shot. Impressive
Pray tell. Did you receive special training from Mr Yuen?
Speaking of your uncle, I can't help but smile
He's handsome and meticulous
He's super nice to the patients
I'm so blessed to be his colleague
I agree. Ever since Mr Yuen joined us,
he's become the number one hunk among us nurses
You ladies have put him on a pedestal
Tell me what kind of man your uncle is outside of work
He's so serious and stiff
He's a super boring geek
I doubt I was born the last time he stepped into a cinema
You exaggerate
You don't call that serious. He's just being conscientious
A serious guy is most charming
You can't call that charm
He's a monster
He's standing behind you
Don't try that trick on me
As if he'd pop up just because we're talking about him
Yuan Kai
Getting a job done well is your responsibility
Don't get puffed up easily
Once we become proud, we start to have blind spots
That's when we'll neglect the details
Got it?
Never mind if you've never praised me
Sister Sarah merely said well done
Did you have to tell everyone present that it was all in a day's work?
So you felt that you were being put down?
So you do a job well to angle for praise?
Of course not
Nothing wrong with what I said
Thank you for the reminder, Mr Yuen
I need to discuss Mr Fong's case with you
I know you have high expectations of the nurses here
But I find that you're especially harsh with Yuan Kai
Lavish praise on young people,
and they'll get conceited
But praise is also a form of encouragement
It'll spur them on to do better
I don't deny that
But it also depends on who the recipient is
I know Yuan Kai pretty well
I'd rather be firm with him...
so that he'd stay vigilant
Negligence on the part of nurses...
can put the patients' lives at risk
No wonder they say that a strict teacher produces top students
Even you're saying that of me?
Don't deny it
Good timing. I was about to look you up
We're here to discuss something with you
Let me make a guess
Does it concern Mr Fong?
We are on the same wavelength
I've found out more about Mr Fong's family
He has a son and a daughter
His son moved out after getting married
His wife passed away three years ago
His daughter is also married
So he's living alone now
His admission to the hospital has also become more frequent
I also discussed Mr Fong's medical report with Dr Tan
His COPD is not serious
About his complaints of headaches and chest pain,
Dr Tan is also unable to identify the causes
When I saw Mr Fong just now,
he said that his heartbeat was fast and his limbs felt weak
But tests showed that all was normal
We all concur that...
Mr Fong's frequent hospitalization is partly due to loneliness
I'll propose to Dr Tan that...
CCT takes over Mr Fong's case
House calls will be conducted to get to know his home situation better
I agree
But we should also get in touch with his children
Mr Fong is usually warded for two, three days
I've not seen his children visit him
They may not know about his frequent hospitalization
Oftentimes, the children are busy with work
So they don't call their parents every day
Or Mr Fong has kept his hospitalization from them
I'll get in touch with his children
OK
Mr Fong is not an isolated case
We've found community support for precedent cases
The Community Nurse Posts...
are close to where they live
The community care facilities...
will mean that they needn't keep returning to the hospital
Our resources will be available for more critical, urgent cases
All right. I'll speak to Dr Tan first...
before arranging for Mr Fong's discharge
CCT will follow up on his case
OK with you?
OK
Hello
What? Eve fainted?
OK. Thank you
Run along
Dr Lau, why did my sister faint?
The patient's kidneys are deteriorating
Ms Koh suffers from lupus nephritis,
leading to kidney failure
The kidney transplant did not work for her,
and dialysis is not working for her
What we can give her now is pain management
But be prepared for the worst
Excuse me
You're awake
How are you feeling?
You've found out?
You may leave
I'd like to be left alone
I'll stay here with Eve
You may leave
If you need any assistance,
please let me know
Isn't it too late to show concern now?
Eve is my younger sister
I'll take care of her
I don't need your hypocrisy
Eve, get a good rest
I'll come and visit you again
Sis
Did you have to do that?
He's let you down
You wasted six years of your life on him
I get mad when I see him
When you are...
near the end of your life,
you let go of things
Don't give up yet. I'll think of a way for you
Let's get you another doctor
Or we can seek treatment overseas
Let's go to the States, OK?
Many times, we just need to know that we've done our best
Many things are beyond our control
Ada was right about me
My concern came too late
Don't just beat yourself up over it
Think about what you can do for Eve
Eve once told me that...
she loved her mother's soups
But after her mother passed away,
she no longer got to enjoy them
Why don't we make soup for her?
That's a great idea
Now, what soup shall I make for her?
I didn't know you were good at cooking
I'm no expert
But I developed an interest in making soups two years ago
When I've got the time,
I'll read up on and cook healthy and easy-to-cook soups
I also love soups
I grew up taking my aunt's soups
She's an expert at making soups
No wonder Sunny and you are so healthy
Have you heard of this?
"A soup a day keeps the doctor away"
Whose line is that? -Who else but m...
My brother's
He's full of antics
He'll come up with quotable quotes, such as...
"Overeating will tax your stomach and intestines"
Oh yes, a stall at the market near my place...
sells all kinds of fresh vegetables,
including organic vegetables
Really? I must go to that market
Sure. I'll take you there one day
But here's a condition
Yes?
Let me have some of the soup
No problem
Are you guys free? Let's have dinner together
OK
It's my honour to be dining with three pretty ladies. OK!
You guys go ahead. I'm meeting a friend
Hello
What?
Honey is unwell?
What happened?
OK...
Sorry, something cropped up. I can't join you ladies
Enjoy your dinner
The food's good. Good recommendation
Not bad, right?
This restaurant gets rave reviews online
Any new potential in your life?
What potential?
Your career has got on track
Other than a love interest, what else can there be?
My dear girl
Why are you so concerned about my love life?
I've just joined CCT
I'm the greenhorn in the team
I've got a steep learning curve
I've no time to look for a new love
Let me ask you
You must have got a new love, eh? Show me
I got to know him through the dating app
He's a little "lame", but he's funny
Just yesterday, he called me the waterfalls...
because "I keep falling for you"
How unoriginal
He sent me this photo yesterday
Let me show you
This
"I want to eat, but I have no appetite when you're not here"
I've already lost my appetite
There are lots more
See them for yourself
"Sunshine"?
Sunny...
No way
What? You know him?
If he's the same guy,
he is a philandering scumbag
He already has a pretty girlfriend, but he's still flirting with girls
What does his girlfriend see in him?
And you've got yourself in the mix now
So long as one is not married,
one still has the right to pick and choose
One-track minds like you are extinct
Take this from a longtime friend
Don't get cheated by this chap
If you find yourself cheated and hurting,
don't come crying 'cause I won't entertain you
We shall see who ends up being cheated
Let's find out if you're a scummy playboy
Since you call yourself Sunshine...
Honey sounds really sick
I feel so bad for her
You'll help me take care of her
Keep me posted
OK, thank you
(Your profile is so cute)
(Are you as cute as her?)
(What do you enjoy doing?)
(I'm Sunshine. So I love activities under the sun)
(Jogging, swimming, ball games, gym)
I'm not telling you
(What do you do for a living?)
(Why are you chatting me up?)
(Are you into me?)
Only an idiot would go for you
(You remind me of a friend)
(Boyfriend?)
(You have an interesting tattoo)
(If it has your face, it'll be even more special)
"The last time I saw a hot chick was...
"when I saw you yesterday"
Not bad
"I'm feeling giddy now...
"because my world revolves around you"
Nice one
"I'm feeling giddy now...
"because my world revolves around you"
Take it easy
Chill
(Why have you gone silent? Upset?)
(Don't get mad. You've got me turning blue)
(You can take such spicy food?)
(I love my food spicy. The spicier, the better)
You like your food so spicy?
I love my food spicy. The spicier, the better
It's you indeed
(Got time the day after? Let's meet for a drink?)
(I'll just watch you drink)
(Let's meet at 7 pm the day after at MCS Café)
I'll expose your true colours
The tartronic acid in winter melon inhibits sugars from turning into fats
It's good for people with diabetes
Winter melon is high in water content,
ideal for people with hypertension, high blood lipids...
-And coronary heart disease -Patients with coronary heart disease
Patients with coronary heart disease?
Yes
But winter melon is a "cooling" food
Eve doesn't like winter melon either
I didn't know that Eve didn't like winter melon
Why don't we choose lotus root instead?
Cooked lotus root is a "warming" food when it's cooked
It nourishes the spleen and stomach, and boosts appetite
Let's make lotus root soup with pork rib and peanut
Lotus root is high in polyphenolic compounds
Soaking the lotus root slices in water will help prevent oxidization
I'll buy some back for my aunt to make soups for me
Sure
What is your line of work?
I never knew lotus root had so many benefits
It prevents cancer and nourishes the stomach
Auntie, you can get all the info online
All vegetables and fruits have their benefits
What's important is that your vegetables are fresh
Come to my stall often. I'll give you a discount
Sure! Remember the two of us
He's so handsome and you're so pretty. I will remember you two
The stall owner was humorous and generous
She even gave us chye sim
Yes. She is not calculating
She sells a good variety of very fresh vegetables
That's why she enjoys brisk business
When I need to buy... -Ouch
Ouch -Your stomach hurts?
What do we do?
What happened?
Make way -Her stomach hurts
Back off, everyone
Don't crowd round the expectant mother
Don't worry. We're nurses
We will help
I'm going to place my hand on your stomach
Relax
She's 8 months pregnant. Is she going into labour?
Don't panic. Let us examine her first
I don't think it's contractions
Did your waters break?
Is the pain all over your stomach or a specific spot?
The upper part
Is the pain getting more intense...
or it's consistent?
I don't know. I just know it hurts
It could be Braxton Hicks
Meaning?
Your wife may be having false labour contractions
Don't worry. She's not going into labour yet
Don't worry. She could be having stomach discomfort...
or she'd eaten something that didn't agree with her
But get a check-up done at the hospital,
just to make sure that the baby is OK
Help your wife to stay relaxed
That will alleviate the pain
The ambulance is on its way
Dear, don't be afraid. You're not going into premature labour
We're heading to the hospital in a while
Hi
May I know what happened?
She's G1P0 32 weekers
She complains of abdominal discomfort
I did an abdominal palpation. She has no definite contractions
There is also no leaking "liquor"
So I suspect that it could be Braxton Hicks
She needs further assessment at the hospital
OK -Thank you
Thank goodness for both of you. Thank you
You're welcome
Husband and wife are both nurses
How nice
I hope the mother and baby are OK
I believe they're first-time parents
So they were more nervous
Do you like kids?
Ever thought of having how many kids when you get married?
Marriage has never crossed my mind,
let alone having kids
We've been colleagues for five years
I've never heard you talk about a boyfriend
The guys in our hospital think well of you
You have no lack of suitors
Don't tell me none meets your expectations?
Don't just talk about me
You're the number one hunk among the female colleagues
You can have your pick of girls
Let's change topic
Ben
You should move on
I will
But once is enough for me
The one you once loved is dying
Yet you are helpless about it...
I get it
You're afraid of losing the person
So you'd rather not have started it
Let's go
I've been out of school for so long. I couldn't keep up with the class
In case my memory failed me,
I practically took down what the nurse educator said verbatim
My hand is aching from all the writing
I'll need some medicated plasters tonight
Take it easy. You can do it
Thank goodness it's just a few weeks more of class...
before I return to the wards
I've been away for so long
I get nervous and excited...
when I think of my upcoming internship at the wards
I'll be honest with you. I am a little scared
You already have the medical and nursing knowledge
They are not new to you
Don't stress yourself out
It may just backfire on you
The way the hospital is run...
is a far cry from the past
Some aspects of it are new to me
So I kept asking questions in class
I also spoke the most in class
I'm also the one yakking away now
We hardly eat together
I hope you don't find my chatty ways a pain
What are friends for? Keep them coming
I thought we'd work in the same ward
But you got transferred to CCT
Our working hours are different
We won't get to see each other much
There's another sister around
You may just know her
She's someone I know?
Who?
Hi
This is Ward C-11
She's the new head nurse
Let's go over
Sister Neo, we're here to report for duty
Ruojun?
It's been a long time. You still look the same
You look fresh and energetic
I know you're new here
So I came to say hi
I've brought an old friend too
Wanling? Liang Wanling?
Lilian
It's really you
You're rejoining us?
After my class for the Return-to-Nursing course,
I had lunch with Ruojun
She said she'd introduce a sister to me
But it turns out to be you
I'd never have guessed
I didn't expect it to be her either
We've come full circle. The three of us are back together
We share a special affinity
You still look the same!
You're the one who hasn't changed
How do you keep yourself looking so good?
Don't tease me. My son is already 11
He's already that big?
It feels like not too long ago...
when you celebrated your son's full month
More than 10 years have passed by
On our first day at work in the hospital,
we were all greenhorns
I dreaded being told to draw the patient's blood
I fumbled, trying to find the patient's vein
But you were so calm. You just needed one attempt
You were so good at dressing wounds
Please stop praising each other
Both of you are head nurses
Yours truly is an overage rookie
Overage rookie?
Well said
We must always think like a rookie
Keep challenging ourselves, and learn new things
We must do better today than yesterday
That's how you may keep pace with the younger ones
Don't become outdated
Once my theory class ends in a few weeks,
I'll start my internship at the wards
Go for it
Don't leave me out when you meet for lunch
No, we won't
We've come full circle
We're back together again
I'm so happy to see you again
All the way
Lilian Baby is finally back
The flowers wilted while waiting for you
Where are the wilted flowers?
You and your glib tongue
Aunt!
You're back
How did your class go?
Not too bad
Now I know how tiring going to class is
Let me massage you -Poor thing
Nice?
Two thumbs up
Nice
My hand is aching from taking down notes in class
I won't cook dinner tonight
Settle your own dinner
No dinner for us? So sad
Yes, it's so sad
Get up -What are you doing?
Get up
Surprise!
Goddess, please sit down -Come
So sweet of you guys
Of course
Our most beloved Lilian Baby is returning to nursing
It calls for a celebration
We knew that you'd return home tired
So we prepared a spread,
and a gift for you
I should have rejoined the hospital sooner...
for the feast and present
That's right
You should have gone back to nursing sooner
We could be leaving for work and coming home together
I'd save a fortune on taxi fare
Exactly
You sponge off me, don't you?
I'm your favourite, aren't I?
The food's turning cold
Let's tuck in -Let's eat
Someone's jealous, eh?
I'm never jealous of you
This is the best dish because I cooked it
No. This is better. I cooked it
I'll eat both
Parrot
So rude
Hello
OK, I'll come over now
OK, bye
Where are you going?
This is a family celebration. You're not going
I've something to attend to
Can't it wait? What's the urgency?
It's hard to put it to you
Anyway, it's a small matter
No
Sorry
You're too much
Bye
Never mind. He's big enough to know what he's doing
Don't worry about him
(I'm here. Where are you?)
It's really you. The philandering scumbag
You're dating a few girls at a time?
You 're too much
(Sorry. Something cropped up. I can't meet you today)
Sister Wong
Ben
Dr Lau has a near-end-of-life case for the CCT
Let's discuss in the meeting room
Is it Eve?
Dr Gan and I did thorough checks
Ms Koh's renal failure is showing symptoms of severe uraemia
Neither haemodialysis nor peritoneal dialysis...
is an option for her
We've done our best for her
How long more does my sister have?
Based on her condition, no longer than one month
Sunny, you've read Mr Fong's case file
What's your view?
I've handled similar cases before
Patients like him are not always warded due to medical reasons
Rather, social causes are the reason why
I'll take a multi-pronged approach...
to learn about Mr Fong's family situation, social life,
home environment and the surroundings
Let's see how we can help Mr Fong receive better care and support
Siyan, you'll make a home visit to Mr Fong with Sunny
I'm sure you'll gain from the experience
OK
Peiying, let's discuss the new case
The patient, Mr Lam, is 83
He has hypertension. He's undergone heart bypass surgery
I...
Where are you going? Aren't we taking a taxi?
The patient's home is just nearby
So you're walking there?
Yup
How long will that take? Taking the taxi will be faster
Miss
It'll be a detour if we take a taxi
Walking through the HDB estate will be faster
How much time can you save?
The sun is scorching
You'll be drenched in sweat by the time you get there
Are you made of ice?
Will you melt in the sun?
Do you have a problem with your judgement?
Taking the taxi will be a lot faster
Let's see who'll be proven right
Hello
Why? You refuse to admit defeat?
I'm late because I waited for the taxi
I'm not usually late
I saw a line at the taxi stand
I wasn't sure how long the wait would be
I am familiar with the area
I know which route to take, and how long it'll take
So I chose to walk here
You could've told me. Were you hoping to beat me,
or to prove you were smarter?
Nothing to do with that
A community health nurse usually...
conducts house calls alone
Not only must you possess nursing experience,
but you must also be flexible and able to react to different scenarios
It's different from working in a ward
There are different ways to tackling an issue
So we cannot be too inflexible
Come straight to the point next time
Besides, this is a routine house call
I don't foresee any unexpected scenarios

From unemployment to a business helping others find work - Duration: 2:03.
My name is Alex Valero and I'm the founder of BuscoExtra.
It's an app that helps people find work in hospitality.
I was graphic designer, but I had to leave my job
because my father died and my mother got sick.
I was unemployed for about a year.
I knew restaurant owners had problems finding staff,
and difficulty processing all the required social security paperwork.
That's when I had the light bulb moment.
What if an app could bring the staff and the restaurants together,
and also help manage paperwork.
So I had the idea, but not the knowledge.
That's when I discovered Google Actívate.
They provide free information courses,
that teach everything from getting your business started to digital marketing.
I learned a lot from the courses, for example
how to start your company, understand your audience,
create digital marketing campaigns, and most importantly
how to turn users into clients.
One of my mentors was Guillermo de Haro.
He still helps me to this day
and I chat to him every week,
and best of all, I now consider him a friend.
BuscoExtra is what restaurant owners in Málaga and Spain need.
Having this app fixes our problems and helps people find jobs.
The owners of the El Gallo Ronco restaurant are lovely.
They believed in us when we were only just starting up,
and their trust encouraged us to carry on.
We launched the app in September 2017.
We were a team of four and now we are 12,
and we are super proud to have helped people find work.
Our intention is to take BuscoExtra all across Spain,
and to other European countries.
We want BuscoExtra to be the benchmark for recruitment all around the world.
All from an idea I had whilst riding my bike.

53 ||Tips on design guidance for an early stage founder || Startup 101 - Duration: 1:30.
I think that's a great question and I think you should definitely look for not
don't just kind of look at something like a Tribble calm is DRI triple-b
Ellie calm which is where you'll find great examples of moving jumping
beautiful animations flashing kind of visuals and all of that that's probably
a wrong place to look for inspiration when you talk about the user experience
model things what you should look for is how product thinking and design thinking
merge to really give you an intuitive in switch is really beautiful really kind
of fast and efficient there are lots of great articles on medium which you could
refer to and how have thought of the UX I think you should look at that thinking
behind the UX and you can always kind of engage people friends friends of friends
who might be in some discipline of design or some discipline of UX and
brainstorm or or kind of Bounce of ideas
you

How To Buy An Election - Duration: 7:15.
How many billionaires does it take to buy a government?
Just three, says Kevin McCarthy, the House Majority leader.
And why should money moguls have the power to seize our Constitutionally-established
Congress?
Because money glazes over high crimes and misdemeanors with a honey-dipped brush.
[Clip: "For the longest time, the Democrats try to say they were the party of the American
worker.
And yet, when you look at the donations from individuals into the Republican Party, you
are beating, you are beating the Democrats in that regard, but they've got a handful
of big, deep-pocketed donors like a Michael Bloomberg, like a Tom Steyer."
"Just think of the three individuals who are funding the Democratic Party.
George Soros.
You've got Michael Bloomberg, not just 80 million into the House, but he put in another
20 million to try to win the Senate.
Then Tom Steyer, more than 120 million dollars he has spent trying to win.
But his main goal is to try to impeach President Trump.
He brags that his impeachment list is bigger than an NRA list.
Those three individuals are trying to buy our government in this process.
It's very disturbing."]
Soros, Bloomberg, Steyer.
Sounds like a law firm that will ransack the Constitution and fleece a nation out of its
last dime.
Buy the House, and they buy the government's pocket book, and spend it for their own game.
And just what is their game?'
Soros is all about 'opening up societies,' where caravans of illegals, transvestites
and cross-dressers, and abortions on demand, will wrench open a closed society of Traditional
values and throw it into a hellhole that even a Fellini flick could never depict.
And what's Bloomberg's gig?
It's all about gun control and stripping the [BEEP] of their last defense against government
tyranny--of which he wants to be the chief tyrant.
[Clip: "It sounds like in your description on the climate front you see a real vacuum
of leadership.
Do you see that on some of these other issues that you have been quite active on?"
"Well, I think there's no leadership on keeping guns out of the hands of criminals, minors,
and people with psychiatric problems which this country should be ashamed we're not doing.
I think the Second Amendment gives you the right, and I'm happy it does, I suppose, that
we have the right to bear arms."]
He who hesitates is...pretending.
We either have a Bill of Rights, or we don't.
There's no 'suppose.'
And Steyer's stunt?
He's just a regular kind of guy--a mass millionaire--who shows up at Town Hall meetings.
[Clip: "Without further delay, it's my pleasure to introduce to you, Tom Steyer."
"Back on October 20th, the very first day we launched our petition, six people from
Lansing signed on to impeach the president."
"The American people, definitely we're sending a message.
And that message was, 'We're not being heard.'
And that message is really what we are talking about today, returning power to the American
people."
"My name is Heather Ryan from Des Moines, Iowa.
And I believe that Donald Trump needs to be impeached because he's treasonous.
And that's reason enough."
"My name is John West.
I think we need to impeach the present president.
We need a leader who does not lie."
"I'm Tony Davis from Des Moines, Iowa.
I'm here because Donald Trump should be impeached because they don't call him Don the Con for
nothing."]
"Don the Con?"
"Leaders who don't lie?"
C'mon Steyer!
Are those the best lines you can feed them?
But like his big-bucks buddies, he's got no positive thrust.
[Clip: "Well, Democrats chance of winning back the House appears to be growing.
If that appears -- if that actually happens, there's a chance they may move to impeach
President Trump.
But one man, a billionaire investor named Tom Steyer, he doesn't want to wait.
He's already started a full-fledged war to get President Trump out of the White House.
Bloomberg Businessweek Max Abelson wrote a profile of Steyer and he joins me now.
Ok, I'm going to start off, if you can just explain to folks who don't know him, who is
he?"
"Of course, so the answer is interesting.
I mean he's like a classic Wall Street guy.
Started at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, then he had a hedge fund.
And not just like a small hedge fund, I mean truly one of the biggest hedge funds in the
world.
He became a finance billionaire.
But he kind of had like a reawakening.
First he became an environmentalist.
Then, honestly, he kind of had a second reawakening about six months ago and he turned into this
American political figure.
You might recognize his face from TV.
He's basically funding an ad campaign to impeach Donald Trump."
"You do see him out on television a lot.
But you know, Max, what was really sort of surprising to me was according to disclosed
donations, Steyer actually spent more than the Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson, Robert
Mercer during the last two election cycles.
How is that possible?
What do you make of that?"
"That's absolutely right.
Well, just -- it's important to keep in mind that there is also dark money, the donations
that billionaires make, and we just can't see because it's dark.
But when it comes to disclosed donations, and there are a lot of them, Tom Steyer is
the biggest donor in America in 2014, 2016, and he might be the biggest donor again in
2018.
And that's because he's spending so much money on impeachment, and he's also spending a lot
of money to bring Millennials to voting booths in November.
The thing about it is, though, he doesn't like see himself as like just another billionaire
cutting checks, you know, to buy influence.
He sort of sees himself, and part of our business story is about, and its a big story, is he
sees himself as this leader of a movement.
He thinks, you know, that America is in this crisis, this cosmic crisis, and he's the kind
of man who can help save the day."]
If 'Steyer Saves,' or Soros, or Bloomberg, 'Saves,' then I say, put your money where
your mouth is.
Let's shackle the money moguls with Campaign Finance Reform with restrictions and caps
that will purge their dark money by full disclosure for every dollar spent.
That way their deep pockets will only be deep enough to fit in their mouths.
Talk about election meddling!
Remember the song, 'Money Can't Buy Me Love?'
Well, they'll give all they've got to give and the Dems will love them too.
They sure have a lot to give but what they got won't go to you.
Instead, their bucks will buy a Republic whose Constitutionally-enacted democratic process
will shrink into the agenda of [BEEEP].

Went To An RV Show On Friday And Came Home With A Steam Locomotive - Duration: 11:45.
today we went to an RV show but I ended up buying a locomotive so let's see how
that happened well this is Friday evening and just like every Friday in
the morning we get up a little bit early and head up to Bonita Springs the Mel's
Diner where we have breakfast this morning Debbie had two scrambled eggs
with breakfast potatoes and biscuits and gravy and I had the sausage and cheese
omelet with the breakfast potatoes and sausage and gravy pretty good pretty
typical Friday then after that we went to the Lions Club looked around for a
while and then we headed up to Port Charlotte now they were having an RV
show up there at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds we spent about an hour there
looking at RVs the smaller ones like the vans and
stuff like that and then you know we looked at some used ones that were a
little bit bigger and some of them were a reasonably-priced but we left out of
there empty-handed so on the way back we decided we're gonna take the scenic
route back down route 41 so we're driving down there and we see this big
sign the hobby shop said wow I never seen that place before was KNK hobbies
so we turned around and went up the road and went into the hobby shop and looked
around and they had a lot of remote-control items and way in the back
is where they had all the railroad stuff so we look back in there and see on this
counter a lot of locomotives and boxes and stuff like that and there was one
that caught my eye and we looked around a little bit more went around and looked
at all everything on a shelf and I kept on going back to that one locomotive and
Debbie says well you know it's coming up your birthday and Christmas is coming up
it's actually to 24th and 25th of December and she says well get what you
want and that'll be or birthday and Christmas gift and I
said Wow okay and she surprises me like that all
the time but anyway here's what I got I don't know how well you could see it in
the box but it is HO Baldwin modern 4-4-0
loco DCC sounds Seaboard number 106 I've been looking for a 4-4-0 for some
time wanted to put it up here on on my
railroad and I'm gonna unbox it now and see how it runs by the way I got picked
this up at a train show we went up to Plant City a couple of weeks ago and I
picked these up here these were hand painted the guy said he stripped him all
the way down and repainted him and put his own lettering on it he does a pretty
good job I don't know if I could believe him or not but I'll take his word for it
but that looks pretty good he put some nice couplers on air but he
left the crappy trucks on there so I picked up a boxcar and a caboose a B&O
caboose since I didn't have a B&O caboose I had a beer I had a Western
Maryland which you can see right there and over on the side if you saw my other
videos you could see the Pennsylvania Railroad with a yellow top
caboose over there by the bridge but anyway we're gonna open this up let's
take a look at this thing here let me just put that right there
but it's a Bachmann spectrum DCC sound
all the usual stuff
DCC sound onboard and all the information on it and let me see where's
the thing okay you gotta pull this out here goes that way okay and I have it
upside down when you know it so there's a tender right there - nice little plugs
on there and here's the locomotive it's a four for Oh number 106 now that looks
pretty nice and I'll put this over here and I'll get a better shot of it in a
minute right there and I'll stick the tender right over here I'm not gonna
hook it up yet until I get ready to film that part of it and we got a buck little
bag of goodies right here
an extra set of trucks for the tender and all right we got the leading trucks
on there too okay and we have the whistle the dome another dome for the
whistle another cow catcher and some other parts in here so we got some extra
items to change it around a little bit good anywhere there it is right there so
now it's time to fire up the new locomotive and run it around to layout
it a quick look at it and without power I just set it down on the track looks
pretty nice and shortly we'll be putting some power to it
and firing it up before I put the locomotive on the track I cleaned the
wheels with q-tip and alcohol just to make sure I'm going to pull the two new
pieces of rolling stock that I got at the plant city train show a couple of
weeks ago let's see how this goes and it has a few more sounds than I thought it
did

5 Tips To Start & Finish An Instrumental Hip-Hop Album - Duration: 7:21.
What is going on making an album can be a serious journey and in most cases it's
a journey that never even gets started for a number of reasons and in this
video we are going to discuss five tips to help you start and finish an
instrumental boom-bap hip-hop album but first I'd like to invite you to like
share and subscribe to our Channel and with that let's get to it alright
number one do not be intimidated by other instrumental albums in your genre
in this case it's hip hop when you're sort of doing the preliminary research
of how you're going to format your album you're going to check on what other
instrumental releases sound like you know just to get a lay of the land to
see what other people are doing and while this may start out as a healthy
process what might happen is you may get so intimidated by the quality of the
work that you're listening to that you may feel that there's no point to
releasing your work because of the fact that you feel intimidated by what's
already out there and because of that you may not even start the project and I
know this sounds crazy but it happens much more than you think
and this is one of those things that it happens so subtly that you might not
even realize that you're doing it things you might say to yourself like oh I'm
not ready yet or you just haven't found album worthy music but in reality what's
really happening is you don't feel like your music is competitive enough to
survive with the music that's already out there and what's more real than that
is it's not even true which leads us to tip number two
you have everything you need the amazing thing about releasing an album is the
fact that it is not about gear it is not about whether your music can compete or
not an album is meant to capture your musical skill and knowledge and talent
at a moment in time which means that that moment will never be the same ever
again as long as you live and capturing that moment allows you and every
listener to see where you were at at that time and that's very enjoyable to
listen to there's nothing better for a music lover to actually see the
progression of an artist as music lovers that's what we want to see we're not
really concerned about how technical your album is or how much skill you have
as a creative human being anything that you do in that vein will be appreciated
simply for the fact that there is no other you on the planet and a lot of
times as musicians this is something that's really hard for us to grasp that
we're actually good enough all by ourselves it's very easy for us to rely
on musical equipment to dictate how valuable we are as artists but just
knowing that you are good enough right now at this moment is a reality that
will carry you past this feeling so you can move on to the business of actually
starting the recording process tip number three
once you begin to record give it everything you have in a timely fashion
keywords in a timely fashion there is a balance between procrastination and
wanting to put out the best album you can and the fulcrum between these two
points is time time is a balancing factor so it's okay to take some time
and be thoughtful about what type of work you'd like to put out and there's
absolutely nothing wrong about giving it a hundred percent as long as those two
desires are bound by time and what all that means is this once you start a song
finish the song don't try to be perfect at the expense
of slowing down your progress and on the other side don't slow down your progress
by overthinking what you'd like to do always remember the end goal that we
discussed in tip number two the album you're making is simply to capture your
creative status at this present time so like my father would say take your time
and hurry up tip number four the thing about instrumental albums is that they
are very very difficult to make unlike most albums where we're able to rely on
vocals to entertain the listener instrumental albums have the task of
trying to keep the listener interested in an instrumental song for the duration
of the song and this would be the difference between a beat tape and an
instrumental album an instrumental album has Arrangements just like a song has a
structure just like a song and has a goal to take the listener and carry them
along with the journey of your music so once you've recorded your songs simply
arranging your music can make your group of songs feel like an album not only to
you but the listener just take a listen to Dj shadows introducing album that
album is completely instrumental yet it transports you from song to song within
the songs you can feel the Arrangements shining there's nothing about that album
that says be tape at all its quality from beginning to end
not to mention focusing on the arrangements of a song once they're
recorded will really boost your confidence in your album and its ability
to compete with everything else out there because
being creative is already an extreme bonus but being creative with a
clear-cut focus is nearly unstoppable alright tip number five I have to learn
this one the hard way when you are embarking on the journey of recording an
album it is imperative that you do one thing at a time
there is nothing that will slow you down quicker than trying to do a million
things at once so when you're recording simply record don't worry about mixing
don't worry about whether you're gonna do vinyl cassette or CD or digital don't
worry about the artwork do not worry about who's gonna promote it do one
thing at a time so when you're finished recording it then you can start
arranging it when you finished arranging it then you could start mixing it when
you're finished mixing then you could be concerned with mastering and so on and
so on and so on unless you have a team that can take on these projects couldn't
currently while you focus on your part of the job it's best to take on a task
one at a time this ensures that you're definitely giving that particular task
your best because albums require your full attention you can hear as I'm sure
we all have albums that seem kind of scattered and this goes beyond music you
can see movies that look scattered it just looks like there were too many
things going on or wasn't cut right or something was amiss and the best way to
avoid all of that is to simply focus on completing one step of the process at a
time and if you keep all of these tips in mind you will have an album out
guaranteed and if you haven't done it yet there is absolutely no feeling like
releasing your own music but that's a topic for another discussion but for now
let me know your thoughts do you have any issues that you encounter while
making an album or do you have problems beginning the process or finishing the
process let me know your thoughts anyway thank you for watching if you'd like to
learn something today subscribe to us here on YouTube I will catch you on the
next one in the meantime take care of yourself peace

Visiting an Elephant with a bullet wound for further treatments - Duration: 6:51.
This elephant is kept and protected inside Girithale conservation zone.
We have been treating this elephant for three months now.
Today we are back to do more treatments with the minister in charge of the wildlife department
The initial bullet wound is healed to a significant extent.
A gunning trap could be the cause instead of a hunting incident.
The healed would have caused the elephant to have a bad stance on its leg.
However, this elephant is very healthy in this area.
