Offering time, Blessing time, let's give the Lord a hand! If you would like to turn in your Bible to Exodus 25:40. If you're making

out a check for offering, please make it out for Throne of Grace. If you'd like a

giving envelope there in the back of your pews, or you can raise your hand.

Following the Pattern. Coming out of Egypt the Israelis were traveling through

the Sinai and they were instructed to build a Tabernacle. God instructed them

to build a Tabernacle in the desert. And God gave them a Pattern or plan for

it's construction, a Pattern. Exodus 25:40 says And see that you make them after

the Pattern for them, which was shown to you on the mountain. God met Moses and gave

him the Pattern for the Tabernacle and everything in the Tabernacle. In the

Bible, God has given us instructions, a Pattern, how to live successfully,

peacefully, and blessed while were on the earth. And what is God's Pattern, what is,

what is his plan for us which were to follow?

Well the Bible has many instructions on this. Let me just do a couple here.

Work, what's the pattern for work. We are suppose to work hard aren't we! We are suppose to put in a full

day's work. We're not suppose to cheat our employer. For community, this is a

community of men here, and so we're to be at peace with one another aren't we!

We are to have a peaceful community. For Church we're to honor, respect and obey

our leadership aren't we. For finances. we're supposed to save. The Bible tells us the

Pattern is to save, save for a rainy day. For the Pattern for worship is what, all

your heart isn't it? Worship with all your heart! And finally the Pattern for

financial blessing is to be faithful in your tithes and offering. The Pattern

that God's given us. And so let me encourage you to be faithful in your

tithes and offering by obeying the Pattern that God has set for us. Amen!
