What Can A Psychologist Do For Me? - Duration: 10:36.
People joke about this topic all the time. I've had people come up to me and
say, "Oh so-and-so could really use you." have you ever wondered seriously what
can a psychologist do for me? When people find out that I'm a psychologist, I get
all kinds of different reactions. Some people want to tell me their whole life
story. Some people don't dare tell me anything
at all. It's just interesting what the perceptions are. You might have been
wondering what can a psychologist do for me. There are different kinds of
psychologists and I can't speak for all of them.
From a basic standpoint, I think my job as a psychologist is to illuminate the
obvious. Which is kind of cool. I get paid to tell people things they
already know. But there's obvious things that are unnoticed. Your clothing for
example. Do you notice it? Can you feel it? Yeah, it's obvious now but before I
mentioned it, it wasn't even noticed. Obvious but unnoticed. The fact that we're
speaking English. Honestly, did you notice? Some of you will say yes to that because
you're not native English speakers. And those are the ones who notice. If you
were raised speaking English primarily, you didn't
notice we were speaking English. It was just obvious but unnoticed. It's obvious
once I call it to your attention. There are processes in our mind that are just
like this they are obvious once they're called to your attention but completely
unnoticed up until that point. One of these processes is called metacognition.
Metacognition is a made-up word. Do we make up words in psychology because we
feel smarter when we can. Breaking it down, cognition means thinking. If we
place cognition right here on this level. metacognition is a higher level.
It's thinking about thinking. And do you notice that you can do this? That's good
news. Because metacognition creates a little space. And in that space, is where
choice exists. Some of the processes that are constantly going on in our own mind
in our cognition are obvious but completely unnoticed up until the time
that they're called to your attention. That's what I do as a psychologist. I
think that's what people in my industry do. We help you to see those processes in
a metacognitive way because once you go to the metacognition level, then we enact
choice. And that's huge. We go through life sometimes not even
seeing that it's a choice. And I can tell you until you see it as a choice, it's
not. You will simply roll with whatever you're programmed, train, taught and
educated to do. And it's not necessarily by choice at that point. It's just your
programming. Programming like English you know, we talked about earlier. I don't
choose to speak English, I'm programmed to speak English. Well, with metacognition,
I can see that, "Wait a minute, English is not the only language, it's not
necessarily the best language. It's just the one that I'm programmed with." Could
we pick another one? Yes, we could. And that brings up all of the issues around...
Well, I'm not used to the other language, I'm not fluent in the other language,
right. So, you enter into a practice process. That's the other thing that I do
with my clients is to create for them opportunities to practice a new language.
A new programming, if you will. Where before, "My life is terrible, horrible,
awful, no good, got stuck in depression, anxiety." Whatever
it is. To speak a new language of, "You know what? My life is awesome. My life
rocks." And I've got the power to improve it from here. Both of those are positions.
But until you see it as a choice, it's not. The world that we work in in
psychology tends to be based around feelings and thoughts and beliefs and
relationships. All of which are affected by our previous programming. Most of
which were not even aware of because we just roll with our programming instead
of experiencing our choice. One of the biggest things that psychologists can do
for you is to help you see the processes that
are going on in your own mind clearly enough that you can get back into a
choice position. And determine for yourself. See, I can't tell you how to
think. I don't have that kind of authority. Plus it would just tick you
off anyway. I just want you to see that you are thinking. That thinking has
predictable results on all of your outcomes. Your relationships, your
finances, your health, your mental health, your happiness. Thoughts have
consequences. I and my other colleagues in the industry of psychology want to
help you get out of your own way. Now, I have to add a little disclaimer here.
Because none of the psychologists that I know, including the one on the screen
right now. None of us have this all figured out. We're just fellow human
beings on the planet. What I've discovered however is that
principles determine all of life's outcomes. And there are certain
principles that by virtue of my practice and what I've been able to do here for a
quarter of a century. I have observed that certain principles determine
certain outcomes with happiness, for example. Positivity. You've heard this.
Forever, right? Just think positive. Does that annoy you too? Probably depends on
who's saying it and why. I've figured out through my practice and what all my
clients have taught me used over these years, why? That is absolutely very
literally true. The positivity is a choice in that it matters and that just
think positive, we'll take the just out of that phrase and it's more accurate.
Think positive. How do you do that? There's 2 processes.
Evaluation and creation. I went over that in another video. And in fact, you know
what? I would be happy to share with you my mini book. In fact, you know what? I
would be willing to share with you a free digital copy of my mini book.
Portable Positivity. I'm not trying to sell this to you. What I'm offering here
is an insight into the principles that I have learned through 24 years
of clinical practice where I've figured out how positivity works and how you can
immediately implement it in your life. I wrote it up as a mini book. There's a
model in here that describes 2 processes in your mind. Evaluation and
creation. You can't turn either one off and your imagination drives both of them.
You can get a free digital copy. Just check down in the description for the
link and enjoy. This is what I do in my work is a psychologist. I've been
speaking specifically about what I do as a psychologist. Other psychologists have
different specialties, different areas of practice. I used to for example do child
custody evaluations for the court. Some of the videos here on the channel are
about that. I don't do that kind of work anymore but I share what I've learned in
these videos so that you can benefit from it. I did a doctoral dissertation on
bedwetting. Who knew? I know more about that than you ever want to know. But you
what? If you want to know what I know, go see the videos that I've done on
bedwetting. Different psychologists have different focuses or areas of practice.
And so, how they can help you might differ from how I can help you. Where I
focus on things like positivity and parenting and relationships and
entrepreneurship and productivity in the workplace. See, those are the things that
light me up. Another psychologist might focus on research or on a particular
educational approach that helps to maximize learning or whatever it might
be. It's just like any other field or industry where there are different
subspecialties. Poked around a little bit and see what you can find out about the
particular areas that you're interested in. Or leave me a comment down below, send
me an email. Engage with me in ways that I can help to answer those questions for
you too. I'd be happy to do that. Hey, Live On Purpose family. I am so
impressed that you're still here. That you're listening to the outro for this
video. And because of that, you get a special bonus. Don't tell anybody else.
But down there in the description is a link where you can get a free copy, a
digital copy of mini eBook. Portable Positivity. Check it out in the
description. Thanks for watching.

How can he believe this?! - Duration: 0:56.
Mr Speaker, my question is to the Prime Minister.
This Prime Minister voted against a Banking Royal
Commission, 26 times and called it a "populist whinge". And, last night,
every member of the Government voted against Labor's amendments to strengthen punishment
for corporate criminals, with tougher, 15 years jail sentences for the most serious
crimes and bigger fines for misconduct.
Isn't it the case that no matter what this Prime Minister pretends, he'll always stick
up for the big banks and the top end of town?
This Prime Minister, as Treasurer, instituted the Royal Commission of Banking and Finance.
That Leader of the Opposition, all of those opposite, when they sat on the Government
Benches, did absolutely nothing.
I will allow the Treasurer to conclude the answer.

Can This Couple Turn Their Relationship Around? - Duration: 3:04.
- Ivory and Miles, how do you all feel
about what the audience results are?
- I wanna ...
- It's understandable.
There's a lot of issues.
- Ivory?
- Yah, I wanna be with Miles.
If I didn't wanna be with Miles,
'cause I do love him, we do argue a lot,
we do see different ways,
and I just feel as if, if we do, again,
get the help, I think that we'll be fine.
- Okay, Truth Team, what say you?
Judge Mary.
- Oh my god!
(audience laughs)
Are you kidding me?
(audience laughs and applauds)
Are you kidding me, lady?
I'm sorry. You love this man?
Every chance you get, you chew him up,
and you spit him out like he's garbage.
(audience agreeing and clapping)
- Okay.
- You know, that's not love. You can't change him,
and, honey, you can't change her.
You know what my advice is?
You get on that motorcycle,
and you get the hell outta town as quick as you can.
(audience clapping and cheering)
- Rosie.
- I really don't think that you understand
what the concept of love is.
There's boundaries that have been crossed.
The respect is out the door,
and you know what?
You don't have a vision for the future.
You just wanna hold on to what you have
because you don't know what's in the future.
You're so accustomed to what you've lived through
because it's your first major relationship.
Be free, number one.
Number two, be fearless in knowing
that something better will come along the way
because this is not serving any of you.
(audience clapping and cheering)
- Dr. Judy.
- You say you love each other,
but that's not what we saw today.
But, if you guys want to try to work this out,
you need to change the way
that you interact with each other.
Instead of saying all the things
that he's doing wrong, what about what he's doing right?
You gotta turn it around.
(audience clapping and cheering)
Okay?
To help you guys with this,
Dr. Matt Borer in your hometown is offering
you five couples' counseling sessions,
as well as 10 individual sessions,
and I really hope you guys
go to those individual sessions, too.
(audience applauding)
You guys need to work on yourselves.
(audience clapping)
- And, can I just say, that I think
that you guys haven't really taken the time
to get to know each other.
Moving in with each other, so quickly,
as you did, it's like you guys kinda became
forced roommates.
You know?
Instead of really dating each other.
Taking the time to get to know each other,
instead of I need this, you need to do this,
you didn't do that, you didn't ...
Y'all gotta figure out, if y'all gonna stay together,
how to date one another.
How to get to know one another
and not pick each other apart.
It's not productive for the son
to see y'all going at it all the time.
- It's not healthy.
- That environment in that house cannot be happy
for either one of you.
If you all really, really want this to work,
take the counseling.
Y'all gotta learn to talk to each other,
not at each other.
(audience murmurs)
Do you understand that?
- I understand.
- Yes, ma'am.
- Alright. Ivory and Miles, thank you so much
for having the courage to face your truth.
I know today was tough.
It was tough, alright.
But, we do, our job here is to try
to help you guys face the truth
and live better lives, okay?
So, thank you for having the courage to do that today.

This is How you can Watch Netflix Movies Free for your whole life! - Duration: 6:08.
Hello everyone this is nitin and in this tutorial we gonaa learn how we can actually access
to movies available on netflix for free for this tutorial we need three apps links to
the apps will be down in the description so make sure to check it out the first app in
our list is torrent search engine don't be afraid when i said torrent because we gonna
use this app just to find the files so that we can actually live stream them the second
app on our list is seedr it is the app which we'll use to actually access those files for
live streaming and the third app in our list is uc browser this will be used to actually
stream it live online so without further any ado let's get started so the movie whic we
will be streaming in our tutorial will be "tomorrowland" so let's find it on google
and get some information about it so that it will be easier for us to find here's the
result and it was launched in 2015 ok so lets fireup our torrent search engine and look
out for tomorrowland in the searchbar we got number of results here if you swipe left or
right you can actually change or shift to another torrent providing sites so let's start
looking for our file that says tomorrowland 2015 not here not here let's try to refresh
umm same results lets check on another site ooh ya we found it "tommorowland 2015"
in 720p so click on the link copy magnet link and you'll see a notification saying
"Link copied to clipboard" so we have copied the magnet link of this torrent file
let's try our seedr app you need to signin so you can actually use facebook account to
login or.. i have already created the account so i am logging in let's se what comes next
here i have 5gb of storage which i can use to convert torrent files into anything.. that
w'll be live streamed so you can actually earn free space from this side bar menu,
let's click on this plus icon and paste our url that we just copied click on this plus icon
again and boom you see the files are actually copying on this server so once it is copied
let's open up the folder so now you see there are two files inside the folder the first
one is .jpg and second is our main .mp4 file click on this drop down menu and hit on "copy
download link" now this is the main link that will be used to fetch the data from the server
so hit on the browser you can actually use any browser in our case we are using uc browser
because it let us online stream any video with a link withour even downloading them
so click on the link and boom you'll see there's two options "play online or download" so
we gonna use play online and you see it is asking for a confirmation click on continue
and you'll see your movie starts streaming all the way so this was the main trick you
can actually use couple of apps to live stream movies from torrent and don't take torrrent
as lightly because you know there are more movies on torrent than actually on netflix
so ya netflix is a good app to provide movies on a subscription basis but torrent will be
the father of these apps forever ok enough now movies has streamed let's see some another
tips for those who can't use uc browser or don't want to but still want to live stream
it because in other browsers if you use the link and click on the go button after pasting
it in the search box you'll see it will start downloading so search for "test your streaming
url" on google and you'll see a site click on the first link from the search result and
you'll see the site is opened "radiant player" so hit on the streaming url input box and
paste it there and just update the player you'll see the player started fetching data
and now your movie is live streaming you can actually use this trick on anywhere on any
browser though the first trick was working only on uc browser but this radiant player
trick is actually working anywhere on any browser on any platform now you'll see the movie
is streaming through the radiant player now let's see how we can actually enjoy our movie
on a bigger screen from that i mean let's jump in to our computer and see how we can
actually watch movies on a bigger screen so again the same trick open up google click
on searchbar and search for "test your streaming url" open up the first link and you see the
same player has been opened up so what you have to do next is just drop...drag down and input
the link in the streaming url input box update the player and you'll see a play button just
hit on that play button and you'll see the movie has started streaming so that's all
for this tutorial and i hope you enjoyed the video so leave a like subscribe to the channel
and don't forget to share with your friends also please do comments this will motivate us
ya! so this is nitin signing out.

Parents thankful son with autism can keep therapy ducks - Duration: 2:13.
It's contained, it's meeting the townships requirements,
but you know, until we get 100% done a little bit of me will be uneasy.
We offered to house the ducks under the deck,
as opposed to what we had before,
which was a smaller enclosure.
We want to put up a nice railing with a gate,
and the entrance area for it,
as well as put up all the greenery, the vines, the shrubs the tall grass and everything around the
southwest and north sides to completely screen it in.
So no one will really know they're in there.
You're not going to see them and they have a nice secure area from any
predators that they can be kept in, they can sleep in at night.
They just think about the pool.
They love the little pond?
Yeah.
You're making out there a lot.
It's not a pond.
Oh it's a pool? You call it a pool? It's a duck pool? Ok.
It even has a little bubbler in it, right?
And filter to keep it clean.
Feels like we're almost done.
But we still need to do quite a few things.
Unfortunately the weather. It's Thanksgiving now and the weather is not conducive to painting
Not conducive to a lot of things.
So in the springtime we hope to wrap it all up and kind of put a nice little bow on it.
And then be complete with it.
But we're in a good spot now.
They're contained within this little house area for the winter.
It's sheltered enough for them and for Dylan.
He'll like to be able to go out there all winter long and keeps hanging out with his ducks.
What are you gonna call it?
The Quack Inn.
The Quack Inn?
You gonna put a little sign on it that says The Quack Inn?
Yeah.
Maybe when I'm all done in the spring we can put a little sign on it.
Yeah.
You like that?
Okay, I'll let you paint it.

How can you detect heart problems early? - Duration: 1:01.
Heart disease doesn't always mean a heart attack.
It may mean that you have something wrong with the heart valves or problems with the heart rhythm.
It is something that you need to be aware of and
detect early and talk to your family doctor or to a cardiologist
for an early detection and routine follow-up on this. You can't get some tests done
routinely like screening for your cholesterol and get treated but intervene on those early.
Usual recommendation would be if you have family history of heart disease or diabetes or high blood pressure or if your smoker
then you get screened at the age of 30 to 35.
We can do certain more tests like an EKG or a stress test in some scenarios
To detect heart disease early and treat them either with means of new medications or lifestyle changes
UnityPoint Health as
the most recent and advanced tools to take care of people with any form of heart disease and the key to finding out if you
have heart disease is to have a very open discussion with your family doctor and with the cardiologist.

12 Ways You Can Get More Ooomph in Your Speaking Engagements - Duration: 4:53.
Twelve ways you can get more Oomph in your speaking engagements.
So you have to go give a talk that you've given many times before.
You have your notes, you have your outfit picked out and you think oh my gosh, I'm so
bored with this.
That means you may need to bring some Oomph to your wardrobe and your speaking engagements.
The first thing is that you don't want to step on stage looking like everyone else and
you also don't want to sound like everyone else.
When you walk up to the podium, you want to have everyone stop what they're doing and
look at you and listen to what you have to say.
While providing an in-depth course on the fundamentals of public speaking is beyond
the scope of this video, I can share with you some ways to add some 'Oomph' to your
presentation by adding some Oomph to your outfit.
You're going to need some 'Oomph'; so you may have some of these items already in your
wardrobe.
For other items you have to become your own best personal shopper for your speaking engagements.
The key is that you are going to have to learn to think like a stylist when shopping for
these pieces.
So here they are; the twelve ways to get more Oomph.
First accessories, accessories are an easy way to add some Oomph.
You can do this by adding a colorful infinity scarf - this adds a pop of color.
You can add a brooch to add a touch of class and some Oomph.
You can add a statement necklace to make a statement when you step up to the podium.
When adding a statement necklace however, you want to be careful that it's not too clunky
and it's not too noisy, because when you put a microphone up close to it, it can exacerbate
the sound and you don't want to have to deal with that and talk over that when you're giving
a speech.
Shoes are also a great way to add some Oomph especially if your audience is mostly women,
because they will compliment you on your shoes all day long.
So you can do this by adding a pop of color with some colorful high heels, some personality
with a print high-heel.
Add a bit of attitude with a pair of shoes that have hardware such as studs, buckles,
or chains or a pair of boots.
Oftentimes professional speakers forget that boots are also a great option to wear for
speaking engagements.
Next up is fabrics.
You want an eye-catching fabric.
If you want to catch and keep the eye, some bold prints can add the needed Oomph to your
onstage presence, so you can do this by adding a floral print that will for sure help you
stand out from the crowd.
A color-block pattern creates a very modern look and of course any animal print add some
ferocity and Oomph to any speaking engagement look.
And last but not least, details are key.
You also want clothes with small little details that other shoppers overlook.
So you want to look for details such as, pieces with standout details.
So for example, gold buttons like shown on the video here or other details such as a
piping detail so you take a look at this jacket and see that it has the red piping to go with
the jacket.
If you add any of the twelve items shown here, if you add them to your speaking engagement
outfit, you will be bringing some much needed Oomph and you can become your own best personal
shopper for your own speaking engagements.
You now have 12 ways to get more Oomph in your speaking engagement wardrobe.
If you want more ideas, even ideas for adding Oomph to your overall wardrobe or ending boredom
not just in your speaking engagement wardrobe but in your entire wardrobe, then you want
to check out the series end wardrobe boredom.
It's filled with details and a five-part plan to help you end wardrobe boredom again for
your entire life not just for your speaking engagements.
So this has been 12 ways you can get more Oomph in your speaking engagements.
So next time, when you bring it and you bring the Oomph, you'll be ready to just drop the
mic and walk offstage.
Thanks for watching the video and have an awesome day.

Why You Can't Seem to Get Anywhere With Prayer - Duration: 5:35.
Hi, my name is Stephanie, and today I wanted to talk to you about why
sometimes it seems like you just can't get anywhere with prayer.
You know those times when you're praying in the
Spirit and you really feel the leading of the Spirit for what to pray?
Sometimes those things almost seem like they come and go.
Like they come in seasons, and then all of a sudden,
all you can pray is like, "Oh, Lord, please help me to do better."
And, "Help me get better grades," or, "help me do better at my job;
I love You, Jesus." Like, just kind of, like, this
prayer that just doesn't feel as deep and you don't feel as
close to Him as, maybe, you once did.
Experiencing this can be really discouraging.
You might think, well, maybe you're not good enough. Maybe
if you were a better Christian and had more time to
be, like, on your face before the Lord for three hours
a day, or something. Maybe you just don't
know how to pray right, after all. And you might be
tempted into, you know, waiting it out,
or seeing if there's an altar call on Sunday
and the preacher lays his hands on you, or
you wait for some sort of revival to get
that close relationship back with the Lord. But you don't
have to wait until that revival service or the
altar call, or for a preacher to put his hands
on you and pray over you. You probably
already know the answer to your problem.
See, sometimes, we can hide things in our hearts
that we're not 100% conscious of. Take
a minute to sit down with a physical Bible, so you're
not distracted by
any apps or anything else like that
on a digital device, and
start trying to pray. And see what it is
that's withholding you. See, God isn't
withholding Himself from you. I'm sure that you've heard
of a relationship with
Christ being compared to just any other
relationship with people. You have to communicate.
You have to care, and you have to love. See, the thing about
these relationships, though, is that a lot of times, people
have a fear of committing to those things. They're afraid
of what's going to happen if they let themselves commit
to loving someone. What's going to happen - it's this fear
that can come to this kind of idea of committing yourself
to someone. And that issue can still happen
with you and Christ. So, what happens?
What happens if you get that deep in prayer?
What is it that scares you? What's holding you
back? See, for me, sometimes, it's
this wrong view of God. Thinking that He's gonna
make me do something. He's gonna make me
do this, or He's gonna take something from me.
Sometimes the thing I'm afraid of Him taking away is even unforgiveness.
Sometimes, I think I have a justified
unforgiveness in my heart because that person did me wrong,
and if I get this deep in the Spirit,
God's gonna make me forgive that person. So, sometimes
we can be holding something we don't know
really, about, back in our
hearts because we're afraid that God's gonna "make us"
do something. What is it that we're afraid of?
What is it that we're afraid of letting go
that's stopping us from really letting ourselves get
into that place. Some people think, you know, I'm not good enough
to be here in this place with God. You know,
I did these things and it was against God's Word, or
I was supposed to do X, Y, and Z. Or
I had made this commitment and I broke it, and I don't-
I'm not worthy to come to this place with God. So,
sometimes we have these little things that are holding us back. So, it's actually
us, with something hidden in our hearts, that's holding
us back from having that really close relationship with God.
So, hopefully, you know what that thing is. Hopefully,
you're at least thinking on it. Maybe you sat down
in prayer and found it. Whatever that
thing is, now you have a choice. Are you gonna
hold onto the thing that's holding you back, that you're afraid of
letting God see, letting Him touch, letting Him get rid of?
Are you going to hold on to that? Or, are you going to let it go?
Let God work in you. Let God work on ya.
Trust Him. Trust that He's still going to love you
even when He "sees" that thing.
Even when you let go. Even when it feels like you're
vulnerable.
Trust Him. Let Him be your protector. Because sometimes,
we do that to ourselves. For me, the whole unforgiveness thing,
it's almost like, I won't forgive them, and then I'll
protect myself from being hurt again.
But that's me not trusting God to be my protector.
And then holding onto this sinful thing
because I think I have to protect myself because I don't trust God enough
to do that. So, what is that thing? That's
your decision. Are you going to let it go? Are you going to
let your relationship with God progress
by trusting Him, and let Him be your protector. Let Him know that
you know that your ways and your thoughts
are lower than His ways and His thoughts. He knows
what's going on. Even when we don't always. So, hopefully, this
video helps you if you feel like you're not able

'Arsenal should do everything they can to sign him' - Gunners legend backs HUGE transfer - Duration: 2:37.
That is the opinion of former Arsenal and Cameroon right-back Lauren. Barcelona winger Dembele has been linked with a move to the Gunners in recent months
Arsenal head of recruitment Sven Mislintat knows the Frenchman well from his time at Borussia Dortmund
Mislintat has already helped bring three former Dortmund players to the Emirates since being appointed in the role in late 2017
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sokratis Papastathopoulos came direct from the Bundesliga side, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan arriving via Manchester United
Dembele's future at Barcelona is in doubt despite scoring some key goals for Ernesto Valverde's side this season
He reportedly missed a training session earlier this month and has also been linked with Liverpool
But Lauren says Dembele is just the type of player Arsenal need and would love to see a move happen
"I think Arsenal should do everything they can to sign Dembele," Lauren told Sportingbet
"Everything about his style of play matches what Arsenal are looking for. "He isn't getting the playing time at Barcelona, or playing in his strongest position, but Arsenal's high intensity will allow him to reach his potential
"Dembele can play on either side of the pitch, which is a bonus and he's showed that he can do it against the big teams, coming off the bench to rescue points for Barcelona
"I would love to see him at Arsenal." Dembele has made 40 appearances for Barcelona since joining from Dortmund in 2017
He helped the La Liga side beat PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday
Dembele has scored two goals in his 21 caps for France so far.

Tin & Can | Love by Chance | Can we surrender? - Duration: 2:15.
Are you still mad at me that I say bad things about those Thai Programs?
I think we shouldn't talk about this.
No matter what happens,I will never change my mind about them.
But someday, there might be someone who can change your mind.
Someone who always look down to everyone.
For me,
you are just a snob.(No one wanna be friend with).
Listen to me carefully.
I never want to participate with someone who cannot even buy a good pair of shoes.
You can say shit about me but not my peeps.
What if I tell you that I changed my mind?
Someone like you?
Feeling remorse?
What if my answer is yes.
I don't buy it.
Why? Why?
No one you can trust.
Trust doesn't exist,Tin.
You're right.
I'm a snob.
No friend.
My family ignores me.
Don't become that stupid kid again.
Don't trust anyone.
Can I really trust you?
I don't trust anyone.
But,I wanna trust you.
I totally have no idea.
How to show you my sincerity...and make you look at me in a positive way.
What I'm doing all of these...is because I really like you.
If you don't trust anyone, you won't be hurt again.
Why me again?
Can't I just have something I really want in my life?
I don't know if I'm really jealous of you.
More importantly,
I don't know... If I love you.
I don't even know what "love" is.
Сan we just please be "friends" only?
I don't want you to be my friend.
But I want to be your friend,Ai Tin.
But I don't want to be "just friend".

Prejudice can happen when you pre-judge someone. | Pastor Steven Furtick - Duration: 16:02.
I still see prejudice in the synagogue on the Sabbath in Mark 3 and this
prejudice is not directed at the man they are prejudice toward Jesus I see
you you look like you want to believe me but you confusing let's take the word
apart prejudice the definition is in the word pre judge
that's what prejudice is and it doesn't just happen racially or socio-economically
prejudice is when you put yourself in the judges seat or the jury box these
men had the opportunity to witness a miracle but rather than be a witness
they wanted to be a judge and every day that you and I wake up we have an
opportunity to witness resurrection power all around us we get to witness it
in the lives of others and we get to witness it on our own behalf we get to
be a witness but you can't be a witness if you insist on being a judge what I'm
trying to say is this have you already made up your mind how God can bless and
who God can bless and when God can bless have you already made up your mind about
how God can do it to the extent that you miss that the very author of life is
right in front of you and they are trying to kill the very thing that God
sent to save them why because they've already made up their minds
we pray for wisdom and God tries to send it through our wives but we are
prejudice we prejudge the people that God sends to help us so rather than
accept the wisdom since we don't like the truck that it came in we'll send back
the wisdom because well she's always like that well she's the one that God
might use to show you your system He might this whole chapter is worth
preaching I wish we had all week all right touch your neighbor say fix the
system fix the system they were looking I see it sometimes I see people who look
like they came to church as a favor or like a last resort or something like we
just stop asking me if I come once and then they are looking for something not
to like I just sometimes you can you can feel the energy of somebody where it's
just like mmm and they will miss a revelation because
one of the worship leaders had a rip in his jeans I just don't know if and God
was trying to show you how holy he is and God was you missed it
looking for a reason looking for reason He was a threat to them so they already
made up their mind they already had their verdict and now they just needed
to collect the evidence it's called confirmation bias when you wake up
believing goddess for me you look for evidence to support that verdict when
you wake up believing that all things work together for my good and that
nothing can separate me from the love of God here's how good it is when you
believe that when you are looking for a reason to rejoice rather than a reason
to accuse it causes you to weigh things differently so you say like Paul said in
Corinthians he said on one hand we're pressed but on the other hand we're not
crushed on one hand we're persecuted but on the other hand w'ere not abandoned on
one hand we're struck down but on the other hand we're not destroyed in other
words what I'm trying to say is that if you would get out of the judges seat and
get a get a get a witness mentality God I want to see the good in people I
want to see the best in people I want to believe the best about people
I want to see the opportunity in opposition
somebody shout I'm looking for it I'm not looking for a reason to be offended
I'm looking for a way to forgive how many are glad that God looked beyond
your faults and saw your needs He could have accused you He could have
condemned you He could have cast you down but He didn't how many are grateful
for what He didn't do for what He overlooked but they got it
twisted we get it twisted instead of looking for an opportunity to meet a
need they were looking for a reason to accuse sometimes God puts you in
difficult situations and you get it twisted He puts you there to change it
not to complain about it and you're out of order you're out of order I wish I
had a gavel this isn't working the man can't work because his right hand Luke
tells us it's his right hand it must mean is his dominant hand it must mean
it's the hand of blessing in Jewish culture they used the right hand to
bless so he needs a blessing to be a blessing sometimes we try to be
something that we have not received from God and it never works Jesus stands the
man up and he picks a fight I'm sorry to disrupt your your Mr. Rogers Jesus
relationship with the Lord you know the one where Jesus is going
come on guys stop it
we're not finding that Jesus so far in Mark maybe He'll come later you know the
exasperated mom guys be nice He hasn't made an appearance so far and we're in Mark
chapter 3 and He's still He's challenging their their whole system
because number one two things I noticed He could have taken the man to the side
He didn't He could have easily been like Peter Peter was always ready to do
something grab that guy with the bad hand you want me throw him out no no
Peter is he distracting you no Peter I want to talk to him after I want to fix his hand
but it's the Sabbath and we're not supposed to work on the Sabbath and I
don't want to offend anybody so just pull him over to the side I'll talk to him later
when I wrap it up just make sure he doesn't leave I want to see him cuz on
the Sabbath remember it was the day of rest six days God created one day God rested
it was the order of creation the Sabbath is the only one of the Ten Commandments
that reflects the order of creation it's like a chance for us to be like God how
He rested okay but but notice work work work work work work why am I sounding like
Rihanna on this stage I didn't mean to rest work work work
work work work rest work work work work work rest okay so for everybody who
wants to just pray not rest rest rest rest rest rest work that's out of order
but after you have worked rest like God rested from His labor it's a it's a
shadow it's not the substance because the the real Sabbath is Jesus
himself it's his work that enables us to rest from ours love the gospel so they
are so consumed with their Sabbath that they are missing God's Sabbath it's a
perversion I know we usually use the word prejudice for racial reasons and we
use the word perversion for sexual reasons but this is a perversion a
perversion is any time that a gift is used against its intention that's the
perversion and Jesus heals him not only does He stand him up publicly and call
him out publicly but He does it on the Sabbath which is understandable if the
guy has a gunshot wound because the Sabbath had okay here's what the
teachers of the law did God gave them this gift called the Sabbath He said I
want you to rest one day when you rest like that it is a picture of how I
rested it is a gift to you and it is a shadow of a rest that is to come for the
people of God where you can cease from your works and receive by grace what you
could not attain by labor so I want you to rest to get into the rhythm of
resting from your works but they did what we tend to do with the gifts that
God gives us when we don't understand the intention of the gift we get it
twisted we get it twisted so Jesus shows up on the day where they're not
supposed to work little rules like this they made they had over 600 of them
there was one command and they made 600 rules around it
they had like a system for every possible situation that could come up
okay so if you need to take a journey you can go 1999 paces but if you take a
2000th step then that's technically work so you had
to count your steps okay if somebody has a dislocated foot or a dislocated hand you
can't set it back into place on the Sabbath
that's from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown observant Jews still celebrate
the Sabbath in the same way today Shabbat and you can't set the bones back
in place on the Sabbath but there's an exception if the person is about to die
you can do it well that's awfully nice of the Pastor's to make that exception
if you see someone about to die and you can save their lives you can do it on
the Sabbath it sounds crazy to us that they would that they would take a gift
that God gave like a day off like a day to rest from their labor and twist it to
the point where they forgot what Jesus said in Mark 2:27 when His disciples
were working one day on the Sabbath they were actually walking and and they did
something that was considered work they took some heads of grain and they were
hungry so they they rubbed the what-do-you-call-it
on the grain the membrane I'm gonna call it it's not called that but I'm gonna
call it that they rubbed that hard part off and ate the stuff they could eat and
the Pharisee said ah they're working on the Sabbath Jesus said you missed the
entire point of the Sabbath which was a gift because you were so caught up in
your system that you perverted and twisted the gift watch what He says this
is this is very very strategic that the Son of God would say to the people that
He came to save the Sabbath is made for man not man for the Sabbath
I know it's a little difficult for us to get much meaning out of that because we
don't celebrate the Sabbath in the same way so let me try this stuff was made
for man not man for stuff the essence of the lesson is this when you take a good
gift and turn it into a God it becomes destructive let me try
another one sex was made for man not man for sex and
what the enemy loves to do is to take a good gift that God gave you and twist it
and disfigure it like this man's hand was disfigured that's what had happened
to the people's hearts so that they had taken a gift and turned it into a prison
they were serving something that was supposed to be serving them when God
sees you chasing material possessions He says that stuff is meant to serve you
why are you serving what I gave to serve you it's out of order
we've got one man who can't work because he has a condition a situation we've got
a system of religion that won't work why it's the Sabbath we can't do it on the
Sabbath Jesus said the Sabbath is for you not you for the Sabbath I gave it as
a gift why would you twist the gift and it causes me to wonder how many gifts
has God given me in my life that I have twisted God gives you people
in your life so you can encourage them and then you become so needy
you twist the gift and ruin the friendship now y'all are quiet how many
gifts has God given us how many how many people will you sleep with before you
realize that sex is a gift it's a wonderful gift but it's a terrible
master within a certain context it's a wonderful gift but if you get it twisted
it begins to take over your life you're out of order you put the Sabbath before
people God puts people before the Sabbath
religion always gets it twisted though and we always tell you ten things you
got to do to be a good Christian but God taught me that I don't change so He will
love me I changed because He has loved me this is the revelation of the cross
we love Him because He first loved us and when you get that out of order you
will twist great gifts that God gives you in your life hey thanks for watching
