Trini: HE HAS GOT IT.

AGAIN, HE'S PROBABLY WANTING TO

PINCH HIMSELF.

I AM ON STAGE WITH QUEEN.

THAT'S INSANE.

TAIZO: AND THEIR MUSICAL

REPERTOIRE IS SO LONG.

GOOD FOR HIM TO HAVE THAT VOCAL

RANGE.

Trini: A LITTLE BIT EARLIER

WE ASKED WHAT IS YOUR CHINESE

ZODIAC SIGN AND DOES THE MEANING

OF YOUR SIGN MATCH YOUR

FACEBOOK PAGE.

WHAT DID JESSICA HAVE?

JESSICA SAYS, I WAS BORN JULY 14, 1984 SO I'M A CANCER

CRAB.

I BELIEVE I'M THE RAT.

TAIZO: GOT IT.

WE WENT WESTERN AND EASTERN.

Trini: CANCER.

TAIZO: OKAY.

ADAM WAS ON THE WEBSITE.

YOU WERE TALKING, BY THE WAY

WHICH IS DIFFERENT?

ONE SAYS SHEEP, ONE SAYS GOAT.

TALKING ABOUT HER HUSBAND AS

WELL.

HER HUSBAND IS A SNAKE.

úBUT IT IS -- WHY IS IT GOAT AND

SHEEP TOGETHER?

I ALWAYS WANTED TO FIGURE THAT

OUT.

Trini: LIKE WITH OX AND THE

COW.

THE SHEEP, IF YOU'RE A WOMAN,

AND IF IT'S A MAN, YOU'RE A RAM.

Trini: THAT'S A GOOD

QUESTION.

MAYBE BECAUSE A MAN PREFERS

TO SAY RAM THAN A GOATY.

TAIZO: I AGREE.

EVERYBODY IS LIKE, WHAT ARE YOU?

THE RAM.

Trini: I DON'T SEE RAM.

I SEE GOAT.

ADAM SAYS I'M A RAT.

MY EX-WIFE MIGHT AGREE.

TAIZO: IT'S OKAY.

IT'S TRUE.

DON'T THEY HAVE A LOT OF THINGS

LIKE WHAT OTHER SIGN YOU MATCH

UP WITH?

IF YOU'RE A RAM, TRUST THE SNAKE

OR DON'T TRUST THE GOAT?

THEY HAVE THOSE THINGS AS WELL.

Trini: YES.

WHO YOU ARE COMPATIBLE WITH.

REMEMBER, YOU STILL HAVE TIME IF

YOU WANT TO GET TO OUR

"LIVING808" FACEBOOK ACCOUNT.

I LIKE HOW A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE

PUTTING THEIR SPOUSES OR

EX-SPOUSES.

Trini: A LOT OF WEBSITE HAVE

YOUR HOROSCOPE THIS YEAR.

YOUR HOROSCOPE THIS YEAR WAS NOT

THAT POSITIVE.

I DIDN'T READ IT AT THE TOP OF

THE SHOW.

I HAD TO STAY WITH THE GENERAL.

WE'RE GOOD.

Trini: IT WASN'T THAT GOOD.

YOU CAN LOOK IT UP.

I PRINTED IT OUT FOR YOU.

Understand Black Lives Matter in Less Than 7 Minutes - Duration: 7:00.

black lives matter is in the news a lot

but do you know what it is and what its goals are?

a quick note here this is a

perfect kind of topic for these videos

we make them so you can get the big

picture without doing a ton of research

yourself but at the same time this is

the kind of topic people get into fights

about at Thanksgiving so we're going to

try to be really careful we always base

what we say on research so we'll focus on it

what we can learn from the movement

itself and how to get multiple sources

for everything you so can be reasonably

confident in what we're telling you we

actually have to start with how black

lives matter is organized so you can

understand what its goals are

black lives matter is a very decentralized

movement and started in 2013 as a

Facebook post and hashtag, as more people

used it to label calls to action and online

commentary around police killings of

black men that online network started to

be used to organize protests that might

include people who didn't participate in

any of the online organizing the

different chapters and online groups may

use the black lives matter name and not all be

doing the same thing or even be connected

one of the founders if you can

say that it has founders has said that

the national movement doesn't organize

everything they just have a framework

for local groups to lead themselves and

focus on their own priorities so people

outside and people reporting on in the

media will get confused about who

represents the movement and who counts

as part of it which is important when there

are different people giving different

statements that contradict each other

that's why it's hard to talk about their

beliefs as just being one thing no one

person or group is in charge of black

lives matter so it's hard to say that

they only believe one thing there is a

bunch of things that different people

in black lives matter disagree about as

well and not everyone who uses the term

considers themselves part of the movement

or is considered by other activists as a

part of the movement there's no one to

approve your application for membership

or kick you out we can talk about what

the national group says they believe and

also look at some of the chapters to

give you an idea but it will cover

everyone who consider themselves part of

black lives matter or everything that's

been argued for by individual groups now

that we've admitted you're not actually

getting any answer this seems like a

good time to point out that all sales at

anime educate are final

obviously the big issue everyone thinks

about when they think of black lives

matter is the police and the criminal

justice system since the biggest topic

of protest has been police killings of

black men the black lives matter website

itself says that 2.8 million black

people locked in cages in this country

is state violence is they put it the

movement for black lives describes

itself as a collective of

organizations representing black people

and is connected to black lives matter

and their website has more detailed

statements about what policy changes

they want made which they released as

part of the election their platform

related to the police and courts

includes: no zero tolerance school

policies where students are arrested for

breaking school rules, no death penalty,

no money charged for bail, no court fees

for defendants meaning the fees you pay

when you're charged even if you win

or the ones you pay on top of your

punishment not the fines themselves,

no using criminal histories on job applications,

no deportation for black immigrants,

no mass surveillance of black

communities with things like drones,

software to predict crime patterns, or

cell phone signal grabbers,

no military tactics or technology for cops,

no prisons run by private corporations,

no solitary confinement,

no shackling of pregnant women, and

more community control of law enforcement

the movement for black lives has said that they will be starting

local campaigns to try and get different

individual police departments to change

the way they do things though other people

in the black lives matter movement have

focused on trying to get politicians to

change the law and government regulations

or even running for office themselves

some other activists have said that

their goal is really to make all

Americans understand what life in

America is like for a black person as a way

to change the system

all these different goals just prove the old saying

that there's more than one way to skin a cat

some in the movement have said that they

are about more than just police and

crime issues though and that their goals

include addressing many different kinds

of injustice the black lives matter

website talks about guiding principles

like being unapologetically black,

about supporting black women,

being open to black families, and

being committed to a restorative justice community

that can include all people

it also talks about being part of a

global black community, being transgender affirming,

and being queer affirming,

which means that transgender members

completely participate and

it's not assumed that anyone is

automatically straight or that

being straight is better

the movement for black lives' list of demands outside of

just criminal justice stuff includes a

constitutional right to college education

for all, more funding for education

in black communities and within

the prison system, universal health care,

less military spending, less use of fossil fuels,

more government job programs,

the right for workers to form unions on demand,

to break up the big banks,

to change the tax code to redistribute

more wealth from the rich to the poor,

more environmental protections,

renegotiating trade agreements,

support for black financial institution,

more regulations protecting workers,

publicly financing elections and ending corporate donations

as well as super PACs, and

universal voter registration that

includes former felons and illegal immigrants

or undocumented workers

depending on your side of that issue

so there's a lot there

looking at the chapters and this is just the

ones listed on the black lives matter website

which doesn't include all the groups

considering themselves part of the movement

there are 37 around the country plus 1 in Canada

the Chicago group

organized protests to try and get rid of

the police superintendent after the

shooting of a black teenager and they

also campaign against closing schools in

black neighborhoods the San Francisco

Bay Area group is part of the

campaign to increase the California

minimum wage to $15 an hour

the New York City group started a super PAC

if you'd like a reminder of what a

super PAC is and what it can do for you

you can check out our videos on campaign finance

the DC area chapter offers

emotional emancipation circles for

members to discuss and process the

emotional trauma they feel from slavery and

anti-black action, run social functions

for blacks only, is putting together a

black lives matter curriculum, and

organizes protests, and then the Seattle

chapter just one more random example

coordinates protest and charitable

collections for things like legal defense

and flooding in Louisiana on its Facebook page

so that's a black lives matter

it was probably a little less certain

than you were hoping for but hopefully

it helps give you an idea of what the

movement is all about if you only remember

three things it should be that one, no one

is in charge of black lives matter,

two, that they're focused on totally changing the

criminal justice system, and

that they have a large list

other goals outside crime and the police

and there you have it

as always sources are in the description

please like and subscribe

I'll keep making new videos about twice

a month so if you subscribe you'll know

what new stuff comes out as soon as

possible

So Many Things can Eat a Dick, but What about Football? - Duration: 3:55.

Last time, we asked YOU to send us topics so we could talk about if they could eat a dick or not.

-So let's f*ckin do it already!

MARK!

-YEAH?

The Flu!

-The Flu can eat a f*cking dick.

Why do viruses exist?

-WE are viruses on the planet! When the planet is like "what the f*ck are these things doing here?"

What would you say to the planet?

-I would say, "We're here because F*CK YOU I DON'T GIVE A SH*T YOU'RE NOT SENTIENT."

-But here's the thing, I don't think the flu should eat a dick. Why?

It makes us feel different than we normally feel, right? Takes us out of our comfort zone!

Pushes us to where we never knew we could exist.

-Are you saying that the flu gives us perspective?

-YES.

-Well then kudos to you for having a mature sense of the world! F*ck you, Katie!

-Okay.

Grooming your eyebrows can eat a dick. Yeah, we've been taught it's just what you're supposed

to do if you are a woman-bodied person, right?

But F*CK THAT! F*CK IT!

Flossing though, it's good for your gums.

-EVERYBODY NEEDS TO FLOSS MORE.

The Ancient Egyptians had toothbrushes that were just sticks that they chewed on.

-Floss your teeth, or else you'll die.

This is one of my favorite user-submitted:

-THE OLD HAIRCUT CAN EAT A DICK, it was too expensive!

I went to this fancy lady who was all freelance and everything, who's got her own space,

and uses this special product, and she's like "Why don't you buy this $100 f*cking thing so you can

put it in your f*cking hair."

She doesn't use scissors, she uses a serrated blade-

-It's a razor! It's a razor!

-NOOOO it's a special kind of magic blade that only Dumbledore and the wizards know how to use.

She's cuttin' my hair and I'm like "oh, this is gonna get too long in two weeks..."

Guess what?!?! Two weeks later, there I am with too much hair!

And then no matter how much Garnier Fructis "finishing" gel I use, it looks like a f*cking this that & the other thing-

-Mark!! I will cut your hair for free.

-Really?

-Yeah.

-Have you done?

-No.

-I don't know if I want that.

-F*ck you.

-Okay, Katie, let's get RANDOM...

-Oh man, football can eat a dick, I don't give a sh*t and if you like feet, great.

-I'm supportive of all fetishes, as long as you want to cum at the end.

That's what I'm into.

-Uuuuuuhhhhh... I would say uuuhhhh...

I would pull that back. Pull it back, pull it back, maybe don't include children or animals.

-Not all fetishes--

Ya know what, I'm pro-football.

[laughs]

-OHHH Nor'easter can eat a dick, Nore Davis is cool in my book.

-OHHH MAN, poop can eat a dick!

-No...

Poop is awesome.

I love pooping and I don't like smelling it, but it's great, you smell your finger after

your finger goes through the toilet paper by accident.

-Nooooo man!

Come on, Mark...

-Send a pile of your sh*t to this address and I will smell it on camera.

-We ate a ton of dicks this week.

-And next week, we'll be eating a ton of DIPS!

-That's right, it's not the CKS, it's the PS!

-It's the Eat A Dick Superbowl Dip Off!

-Tell us what your favorite dip is in the comments.

-And if you don't have a favorite dip, why don't you just like this video, subscribe to our channel,

and share it.

What I Wore ~ The Dress Up Mom Styles One Suit Four Ways ~ Ep. 3 - Duration: 2:53.

[Audio Length: 0:02:52] RECORDING COMMENCES:

Rajka Hayden: One of my favorite pieces is a vintage Oscar

de la Renta suit that I bought via resale.

I love it.

Today, I'm going to show you four different ways that I've styled this suit.

I hope that you like it.

If you do like what you're seeing and you like these kinds of videos please give us

a thumbs up.

Also, leave me some comments and we'll keep doing them.

I'll show you the outfits.

This is my Oscar de la Renta suit.

I had it altered significantly to make it modern, but I bought it resale at a great

price and it was in really good shape.

It always reminds me of Christmas wrapping paper, that foil Christmas wrapping paper

and I love wearing it around the holidays like this as a suit.

For example, to a holiday party or something like that.

This is look number one.

I've paired it with these shoes that were actually from the 80s, Le Petit Jean, that

my mother actually gifted to me.

Here I have the jacket paired with these palazzo pants that I have and my Louboutin shoes.

These pants are actually from the St. John Knits company store.

My very best friend works with them and I had the opportunity to go to that company

store, it was incredible.

They were long pants, I had them shortened, but this is one look with just using the jacket.

In this look I paired the pants with this St. John knit sweater.

The St. John knit sweater was also from the company store.

And, I've got on my Bryr clogs, little peep toe clogs with it.

This is another way to wear the pants.

Finally, I have now paired the pants with this Ralph Lauren button-down white shirt

and my trusty red oxford flats that I've forever and resoled a bunch of times.

This is the most causal way I have found to wear the suit and I wear this actually to

work.

So, that's my suit four different ways.

I could actually style it probably another four different ways, I find it to be very

versatile, even though it's quite a gold set of pieces.

I would love to know if you had a favorite outfit, you can leave that in the comments

below.

And, if you have a suit that you do this kind of thing, I'd love to see that.

You can put that on my Instagram at The Dress Up Mom.

Thank you so much for watching.

If you haven't subscribed already, please do, we're trying to grow the channel.

Until next time, dress it up a little.

WHAT'S IN MY PURSE ft. NEW ROSEGOLD LONGCHAMP HANDBAG⎢Jolien Nathalie - Duration: 13:36.

hi everyone thank you so much for coming

welcome back to my channel I'm so happy

that you're here

my name is Jolien and today I'm going to

do a what's in my purse video so if you

follow me on Snapchat you know that I got

a new handbag and it was actually a

whole ordeal but we're not going to get

into it now and I'm actually really happy with

the bag that I got, I got a Longchamp tote

or shopper bag and it's rose gold and I

could not be more excited

this is what my handbag looks like right

now I think its gorgeous i love it i'm in

love with the color now you have to know

that I really don't care where my bags

come from

I just need them to be durable and it

was actually an idea from my boyfriend

because this is made out of polyester if

i'm not mistaken (it's nylon actually) and since I live in

Belgium and it's rainy and windy and

there's a lot of snow

this will be really easy to maintain

and yeah I'm just really happy that I

have the rosegold Longchamp handbag

I don't know if you're familiar with the

brand, i am familiar with the name

but it was the first time for me that i

actually went into a Longchamp shop if

you live in Brussels i went to the shop

in Louise they have two, I believe they have one in

a gallery and then they have one in that

shopping street at the Louise metro stop so

that's where i got mine, the guy who

helped me out with these purses said

that this is for Spring and Summer or

that it's a color for Spring and Summer sorry i don't

know i'm using it in Winter obviously

so yes I'm going to show you what I keep

in my purse today and

i have to say if you've seen my previous what's

in my previous handbag videos i kept a lot of

stuff in there and right now i'm

actually trying to live my life a little

bit more minimalistic so I'm trying like

a minimalistic lifestyle even though I

won't ever be a perfect minimalist not

that that exists because i assume

everyone has a different definition of

minimalism but I'm not carrying as much

stuff with me anymore, I'm just trying to

have not so much stuff and then

have a clear mind and just have an idea

of what I actually carry my purse so I'm

happy to tell you that there's only one

compartment, there is however a tiny

little bag right here and you can tell

this is not only to fold your bag

because i believe this is called a le pliage

and right underneath here there

is a tiny little compartment without a

zip or anything where you can like put your

phone etc, so yeah I hope you're

excited i'm excited i really like this

rosegold bag, a lot of your on snapchat said

that you wanted to see it so I hope you're

happy and enjoy the video

ok so i'm just going open this little

thing right here, unzip my bag give

you a little sneak peek of what the bag looks like

on the inside, the bag is white which is

definitely dangerous for me because I'm

really afraid it's going to discolor not that

anyone can see it but I can see it

anyway when I bought it I had no clue

it was white on the inside

I just assumed it was rosegold as well but

just so you know the bag on the inside

is white now as I said we have a tiny

little compartment here i'm going to

turn around

my bag it's right there that one is rosegold

and in here I keep my gum Sportlife is

my life this is my favorite gum of all

time I've been chewing this ever since I

was a teenager then we have a Carmex lip

Carmex recently came to

drugstores in Belgium which is great i

purchased this a couple weeks ago

at Kruidvat and even though i was really

tired of hearing youtubers raving about

this chapstick I was like this, that shit

it can't be that good but it is

good I really enjoyed it and I think

it's very good too I'm heal chapped and

blistered and nasty lips so this is great

then I keep one lipstick in my bag

always because I think sometimes my lips

look so bad that just a little bit or a

tiny little bit of lipstick is always

going to make it look better even when

I'm not wearing a full face of makeup or

when I decide to go out without makeup

this is a get it all NYC lip color in

the shade exceptionude and it's just a

very simple plum color this lipstick

definitely have a sheen to it which is

nice when you're wearing no make up

because i feel like when it's completely

matte it kind of looks weird on a shiny

face I don't know so i definitely

recommend the lipstick or the get it all

lip color from NYC these are really nice

very pigmented and they only retail for

€4.99 then the last thing that I have in here is

one of the Longchamp cards where they explain

how to fold your bag how to maintain

your bag

oh yes and how you should ... to maintain

your product apply with soft .. ooooooh

Wow and it's just really nice i like it

i'm just going to keep it in here

just in case because otherwise I'm gonna

lose it i could also put it in my wallet

by the way

speaking about my wallet i still have

the exact same wallet I've had his

wallet for years it is a wallet from the

brand Fossil I bought this when it was on

sale and it was just an amazing deal and

I can't believe i still have this wallet

after all these years i thought i would

definitely break this zip after like a year or

two but no it is still fully intact it's

amazing

highly recommended this brand for wallets

i love this thing I think it's

beautiful and I don't know it's

definitely me, like really really big

bag really and a big wallet with no money

moving on something that I always carry

with me in my handbag is a canvas bag i

am very conscious about the environment

I've been raised that way and something

that I think is important is that when

you go shopping that you have your own

bag with you so I always try to have

really fun bags that I actually want to use

and look pretty

this canvas bag I actually recently

purchased when I went for new years to

Amsterdam and i went to the Banksy

exhibition and this is one of the canvas

bags that they were selling there and i

think this one looks amazing i love it

and i love Banksy's art next I

definitely have a lot of beauty related

things in my handbag

this is a travel-size original Tangle

Teezer i purchased this years ago for

like twenty euros but if you live in

Belgium right now in this moment you can

get Original Tangle Teezers for only €7.99

at Kruidvat so bitch

get your ass over there because that is

an amazing bargain i didn't buy one

myself because i have this one it's in

amazing shape even though i've already

had this for such a long time and I always

carry this in my handbag because i have

long hair and it's a lifesaver

then of course because i often have dry

hands i always carry a hand cream with

me I used to be a hand cream junkie but

I've definitely grown out of that, no one

needs 10 different hand creams at once

this is the Rituals Miracle Balm, now I do

prefer hand creams over balms but i am

set on finishing this tube before buying

another one or another cream this is the

Miracle bomb and says it's rich,

nourishing and I actually always apply

this before i do my youtube videos

because otherwise I think my hands look

nasty and i'm also wearing it or I

also applied it right now and I think my

hands feel nice and soft and they look

great so Rituals skincare, body and hair

is actually really nice so i recommend

this then your last beauty item that i

have in my bag is the nail polish that

i'm currently wearing like .. isn't this

gorgeous i posted this more than a few

times on my Instagram because I'm just in

love this is also some kind of like a

rose gold purpley like silver it's just

so pretty

this is an ESSIE Luxeffect nail polish

in the shade disco doll and I love this

I think my nails look amazing this was

sent to me by L'Oreal and

I had never tried ESSIE nail polishes

before but i really like this kind of

top coat it is very hard core I really

like it and the reason why I carry this

with me in my purse is because whenever my

nail polish starts chipping i start OCD-ing

like a crazy woman and I want to just

crash everything off my nails because i

think it's ugly

so I think it's a little bit healthier

and way less damaging to just do a little

touch-up on the go than to start

peeling everything off with my own nails

moving on i am a highly sensitive person

so for me going outside in the real

world is really difficult so I always

carry my ipod with manage this is a 2

gigabytes old ipod that I got as a gift

this was the most amazing gift ever

so whenever I go out and you see me

I probably have a resting bitch face and

my headphones in my ears, more self care

products that i carry around in my bag

or these Citrosodina supplement pills

this is just something to settle my

stomach whenever I have stomach ache or

i have is it called heart brand I'm not

really sure like all of the acid that is

coming up I might be inventing words i'm

not sure but these are really great and I

actually purchase this every year in

Italy they just come in a tiny little

pill form you can also buy Citrosodina

that you can dilute in water so

yes this is really nice if you have stomach

problems then I have this little bag

right here where I just carry all of my

medicine, I mean "my medicine" i carry like

painkillers, I carry ibuprofen, I carry

my allergy medicine, i carry pads, tampons

just a whole bunch of girly things i

purchased this at Veritas they have a

whole bunch of colors and different

sizes, i think I hit myself in the face

again great, and it's just really handy

because all that stuff all those tiny

little things are not scattered around

in your purse and they're just nice and

protected

and kept sanitary if you will, oh this is

something fun I'm sure a lot of you don't

know this but I'm actually kind of blind not,

really but i carry glasses with me

because I wear glasses

I mean I have glasses i just never wear

them i do need them though these are the

kind of glasses that i need to watch

TV or whenever I go to the cinema or

whenever I go to, I don't know, places

where you have to see things but I never

want to see anything so I don't wear

these

I do like my glasses a lot though I

think these make me look very nerdy very

funny i like these a lot

I just got these from Pearl, Pearl is

like a shop here in Belgium where you

can get a lot of nice glasses and the

brand is Fifth Avenue i'm not familiar

with that brand I just like the glasses

and I just keep them in here then the last

items that I have in my bag are

pink gloves that i got from H&M these

are not touch screen gloves

alright so definitely keep that in mind

they come in a pack of 2 I have a grey

pair and a pink pair and I keep the grey

pair in my jacket and a pink pair in my

purse and then we have this cute flowery

headband, winter headband, to cover up my ears

and my forehead that I got a couple

years ago at Forever 21 when we still

had a Forever 21 in Belgium i'm not

sure if we still have it, i don't think

so but this is just really nice i think

it's very me and since i like to

wear a lot of plain colors and these are

definitely some fun accessories if you

will

ok so this is everything that I keep in

my bag my bag is completely empty right

now and if you want i'm going to show

you what it looks like when it's

completely folded it's really easy to

fold I don't .. I never really have to take

a look at the instructions to fold it

you just have to make sure that all the

air is out of your bag i'm definitely like

trying to do this as fast as possible

but this is what it looks like when it's

folded so if you are looking for a bag

like this

I and you want the shopper or the tote

bag these are pretty big but you know I

like

my bags to be larger than life, make

sure you take the one with like the biggest

handles because they have one that is a

tiny little bit smaller and the handle

is strictly only to put over your arm

so yeah if you want the shopper or the

tote bag this is definitely the one with

like the bigger handles so yeah this is

my rosegold Longchamp bag, this was my what's in

my purse video I really hope you girls

enjoyed, let me know in the comments down

below which kind of handbag you carry

around so do you carry a giant handbag or

purse or do you carry something tiny

here in Belgium I definitely noticed that

a lot of girls like to carry around just

like a tiny little purse, before you

leave don't forget to add me on social

media which is joliennathalie on Snapchat

Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and I

would seriously consider you add me on

Snapchat because I do a lot of spur of the

moment things there that are really fun

the other day I did a Self Care Party

I'm not sure if I already mentioned that in the

video, i do cooking shows, i do

decluttering I i don't know, i just

talk a lot, i think it's fun, i interact

a lot with the girls you send me a lot

of videos of what you're doing and it's

just amazing, so have an amazing day and I'll see

you girls later, bye!

what day is chinese new year 2017/ chinese new year parade 2017/ chinese new year 2017 horoscope - Duration: 3:25.

Happy Chinese New Year 2017! UK activities, what the Year of the Rooster means for your zodiac sign and how to celebrate in London.

It's the lunar new year, which means revellers across the world are having two weeks of celebrations to welcome in 12 months of the Rooster - but what is the story behind Chinese New Year and what do the animals mean?

The start of the lunar year has begun, and millions of people across the world will be gathering with family to get out the firecrackers and celebrate Chinese New Year.

This January denotes the beginning of the Year of the Rooster, defined by the Chinese zodiac cycle.

The day is traditionally marked with the giving of gifts and celebrations with family, as well as looking to what the sign of the Rooster will mean for the year ahead.

Here's everything you need to know about Chinese New Year.

When is Chinese New Year and why does the date change every year?

The Year of the Rooster begins on January 28, 2017. Celebrations will begin on January 27, New Year's Eve, and typically last around two weeks, making this the longest holiday in the Chinese calendar. This year the festivities are set to end on February 2.

Chinese New Year takes place on a different date every year, because it is based on the lunar calendar. In this calendar a month is two days shorter than in the solar calendar so to make up for it an extra month is added every few years.

The lunar calendar means the celebration always falls on a different date - unlike the January 1 New Year we are used to, based on the Gregorian calendar. But Chinese New Year always falls between the end of January and mid-February.

Each year is denoted by a different symbol from the Chinese 12 year animal zodiac, with this year being matched to the tenth sign. Last year was the Year of the Goat.

What animal represents this year? : The Chinese calendar attaches different animals from the zodiac to each lunar year in a cycle of 12 years. This year is the Year of the Rooster.

But for people born in a rooster year - 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005 - it is set to be an unlucky time because tradition denotes that the year of your birth makes for an unlucky 12 months.

Roosters are the tenth sign in the zodiac and are seen as confident, honest and hardworking. They also enjoy being around people but can be seen as attention seekers.

How is Chinese New Year celebrated? Chinese New Year is celebrated with the ringing of bells, the lighting of firecrackers and watching traditional lion dances.

In China New Year's Eve is seen as an important date, with families gathering together for a reunion dinner. Firecrackers are then let off to signal the end of last year and the beginning of next.

On New Year's Day, families gather, clean their houses and sweep away bad-fortune. Red envelopes stuffed with "lucky money" are given to children, along with written wishes for their kids to grow up healthy.

However Chinese New Year has also been touched by the digital age, with red envelope apps - where people can exchange cyber money - being launched. People also decorate their houses with red paper cutouts, banners and special New Year paintings during the festive period. This year is also likely to see Rooster themed decorations.

What to Look Forward to in 2017 on My Channel! - Duration: 1:37.

Hello lords and ladies.

My name is Archaic King and I just wanted to toss up a little video this evening talking

about the immediate plans for the channel.

A couple of months ago I announced plans to revive my let's plays and I've definitely

done that, but it's also been a month since my most recent LP ended.

So starting sometime early February, you will be getting a new let's play and that should

be Deponia.

I know not as many people care about my gaming videos, but for those anxiously awaiting the

next series I do, well there ya go.

The new Story of Seasons game has also been given a release date, February 28 I believe,

and that LP will more than likely come out that very same day.

Moving further into the future, the next LP after that will be the new Mass Effect game.

It'll also be going up the same day it releases or at best the following day.

Beyond that I have some general ideas for what I want to do, but Story of Seasons and

Andromeda will suck up a lot of upload space, so it's unlikely I'll be doing 3 LPs at

once.

Do expect some random gaming videos, though.

For Cartoon Hangout, you can expect me to catch up on some reviews for shows like My

Knight & Me, Adventure Time, and a few other shows.

And I may be doing reviews for the show Lolirock, but nothing is set in stone.

I've also just released the first Reality Check video I've ever done and if you lords

and ladies respond well to it, you can expect more live-action reviews in the future.

And that's all I had to reveal.

Look forward to new content this year.

I'm excited for you to see it.

Thanks for watching and take care.

60 SECOND VLOG: What's Wrong With The Climate March? (Trump, Day 8) - Duration: 1:01.

Yesterday I talked about the Science March (go science!) and today I want to talk about

the People's Climate March, thats happening on April 29th in Washington DC on the 99th

day of Donald Trump's presidency, which is well timed, because it means that all of

the press that will cover his first 100 days of his presidency will have to talk about

all the protests that are happening.

But there's something I'm a little bit worried about.

This march has brought together all sorts of progressive groups and so they're not

just going to be asking for action on climate change - they'll also be asking for a $15

minimum wage, and they'll be asking that any investment in green technology will be

used to benefit people of color and other minority groups.

Now, these are all great progressive issues and I support them all - but by appearing

together as one march, its very easy for people to confuse climate change - a scientific fact

- with other progressive issues.

Now climate change has to be very careful that its seen as a scientific issue and not

as a particular party issue – because its a scientific fact - so it needs to be very

careful about how its presented.

What is a Space Elevator? | Brainstormed TV - Duration: 6:15.

space

The ultimate frontier

Wouldn't we all love to go up there in the vast expanse of the universe?

But it's extremely expensive.

The cost to send a payload of 1 kg to orbit is over $20k

It burns copius amounts of fuel

and hence it has many limitations

but

another proposed type of space transportation would be more feasible.

first published in 1895 by konstantin tsiolkovsky,

space elevator consists of long tether running from the earth to above geostationary orbit.

It's basically a long, very strong pole that extends far above the earth's surface.

It can be used as a mode of transportation to travel to space

and it would cut the cost to almost 1/100th of what is costs now

a space elevator consists of four elements

Firstly, the anchor that is fixed to the earth

mostly located in the sea and known as a super-ship

Secondly, a cable of tether that extends to space

atleast 36,000 km from the earth's surface

Thirdly, the climber, like an elevator, to go up the cable

And fourthly, a huge counterweight at the top of the cable

that holds the cable taut due to tension and is known as the apex anchor
