Drawing Animals in the Library! - Duration: 17:38.

- [Adam] Where are you going?

Wanna go up to the library?

(Steph laughing)

It's right here if you wanna go inside.

He says he wants to do some research

on drains and plumbing.

- [Steph] Oh, bye.

- [Adam] He said, "My toilet's broke."

- Hi Art Friends.

- [Adam] Hello Art friends.

- Today we're at the library and we're gonna

be drawing some animals.

- [Adam] Yeah, so be quiet guys.

- Are you still filming?

Oh, okay.

I thought you were shutting me up.

(laughing)

So we're just gonna look for a few books first,

to try and see--

- [Adam] We're gonna see if we can find anything in here

to do with animals.

Ooh, four steps to lower my cholesterol.

- That might not be the book we need for today.

- [Adam] I'll be checking that one out later.

That's not an animal.

Ten Million Aliens.

You know guys, we did our very first Doodle Date

in this very same library.

And I think I actually picked up that book.

- I thought it seemed familiar.

- [Adam] No joke, I was like,

"Where have I seen that before?"

- [Steph] Oh no, the dog book.

- [Adam] Dropped me dog.

- [Steph] Okay, we've got dogs, they're definitely animals.

Do we pick the spider book?

- [Adam] Ew.

Whoa, whoa.

I'll spare your eyes if you're scared of spiders.

How about the frozen planet one?

There's polar bears and penguins and stuff in that one.

- [Steph] Yeah, I guess we can do it.

- [Adam] That's quite a big one, yeah, be careful.

So we've got dogs, arctic life--

- [Steph] What about Nick Baker's Bug Book?

- [Adam] Yeah, Nick Baker looks like

a pretty trustworthy guy.

Maybe we should--

- [Steph] Oh, there was a hedgehog.

Most of it's a load of bees though.

- It's just got a really big section on bees to pad out.

- There's a lot of ones on British birds.

- [Adam] Okay, birds seem good.

You guys have been asking for British birds for,

I can't remember how long.

So--

- [Steph] That one's got quite a few nice little ones in.

- [Adam] Oh, yeah, we could have done some of them there.

- [Steph] Yeah, okay.

- [Adam] Bugs, birds, and like arctic things?

That's quite a big range.

- I was really hoping to find an animal encyclopaedia.

But, you know--

- [Adam] The library doesn't have one.

- Bugs, birds, and frozen animals.

- [Adam] We'll make our own encyclopaedia.

You're even putting the books down quietly.

Oh, okay, (mumbles).

Can you explain to me why there's a really big hole

in this table?

- [Steph] It's for your finger.

- [Adam] Wooo.

Okay guys, so the plan is,

what we're gonna do, is we're gonna pick a book.

But, the twist is, right, I am gonna flick through

the pages and whichever one it lands on,

you have to draw it.

- Okay.

- [Adam] Can you deal with that?

- Okay.

So you're gonna do that for me.

- [Adam] Yeah, I'll try and do it one handed here.

Oh, need to get a good, there we go.

You ready?

(mumbles)

(chuckling)

What a handsome chap.

- [Steph] So you want me to draw this dog?

- [Adam] What's he called?

- [Steph] A Sealyham Terrier.

- [Adam] A Sealyham Terrier.

It sounds like an element you'd find on the periodic table.

- Well since I'm using this book--

- [Adam] It's full of Sealyham.

- [Steph] I'm gonna give you a bird to draw.

- [Adam] Oh no, I didn't agree to this.

- [Steph] A Tree sparrow.

- [Adam] Oh, I like sparrows, okay.

So that's mine.

Hey honey, do you know how you put together

a yellow fence?

- No.

- [Adam] With a Yellowhammer.

(laughing quietly)

That took you too long.

The comedic timing has ended.

- [Steph] Okay, so I guess it's time for me

to draw this dog.

- [Adam] His nose.

- [Steph] He has some kind of like a little beard thing.

He's also got a lot of fuzz on his head there.

- [Adam] He's got a bit of Bob Ross going

on on top of his head.

- [Steph] Little stumpy tail.

And his legs are really stubby.

- [Adam] Where are they?

It looks like they stuck a dog's head on a sheep's body.

- [Steph] Yeah, he does.

- [Adam] You can give him like a

little plasticizing poop tail.

- [Steph] It is a weird little lumpy tail.

Adam's here, by the way.

- It's me.

- [Steph] I don't think you've been in it yet.

- Oh.

I've lost the sparrow page.

Oh no.

Let's just refer to the index.

(Steph laughing)

It was called a Tree sparrow, right?

- [Steph] Oh, you weren't joking.

- This is what we used to do before Google was around.

Back in my day.

(Steph chuckling)

A Tit, bearded.

Thrushes.

Oh dear, this is the bird book, isn't it?

(laughing)

Tree sparrow.

Page 87.

- [Steph] Have you figured it out?

- Yeah, see?

And that's why we don't rely on search engines.

Now, the Tree sparrow or as they say

in Latin (speaks Latin).

That's what it says, (speaks Latin).

It's kind of shaped like a jellybean, right?

- [Steph] Right.

- [Adam] With the little tail sticking out the end.

So that's the kind of shape I'm gonna go with.

There's kind of like this and it comes out.

And he's got a beautiful round head.

- [Steph] That's a very nice jellybean.

- [Adam] Yeah, but again, when I very first started

drawing, I couldn't really draw anything

when you very first started teaching me.

And Steph was super patient with me.

And this was one of the first exercises that

you ever taught me.

It was trying to break things down into shapes

and it helps with like everything.

Not just animals, but seriously guys.

Get in with the tail a little bit and his wings overlap

here, so when you put the basic shapes where they're going,

you can just sort of add all these other little bits

as you go along.

Before you know it, you've got a bit of

a Tree sparrow going on.

And then guys, because it looks kind of like realism

right now, but because you've got the basic shape,

you can then go in and--

- [Steph] Give him like a big cartoony eye.

- [Adam] Like exaggerate stuff, like give him a really

like rawr.

(Steph laughing)

It does feel so nostalgic being in here again though.

Because our first Doodle Date we didn't even talk.

- [Steph] Yeah, we didn't.

- I guess it's 'cause it's a library,

but we were kind of nervous.

(Steph chuckling)

- [Steph] You never shut up now.

(chuckling)

- Put me on mute.

Don't put me on mute, please.

I'm trying to give you good advice.

Please, don't go.

And then you can kind of just go in for your detaily bits.

- [Steph] Aw.

- [Adam] We erase his bum, 'cause you can't see

his bum from this angle.

- [Steph] You're drawing that so much faster.

I haven't even done anything else on my weird dog yet.

- That's the thing, if you can get really good

at identifying shapes and things,

you can draw so many things so quickly as well.

Shapes are like amazing.

So what have you got for your little doggy?

- [Steph] A big nose.

- [Adam] He does have quite the snout.

- [Steph] I have a feeling it might look weird when

I'm done drawing it, but just because the dog itself

looks so weird.

- [Adam] If I was gonna draw a human version of him

he'd be like an older guy with a handlebar moustache.

You see it?

- [Steph] He does have a lot of facial hair going on.

- [Adam] He's got that beautiful afro up top.

- [Steph] His head looks so small to the rest of him,

but that's true to his breed.

But it looks a bit--

- [Adam] I'll have you know I'm a thoroughbred

and my head's tiny for a reason.

(Steph chuckling)

Now get the poop tail.

- [Steph] And his little tiny, fuzzy, legs.

- [Adam] He's got right little stumps, doesn't he?

Guys, let me know if you own or have owned

one of these dogs.

- [Steph] Is it real?

(Adam laughing)

- [Adam] Are they real.

- [Steph] It's in a library so it seems pretty legit.

- [Adam] Great Photoshop, bro.

It kinda looks like he's got a lot of,

they kind of look like tentacle udders.

- [Steph] Now, I'm using very limited supplies

in my pencil case.

If you'd seen my pencil case earlier,

you'd know what's in here.

And I fancied lining this with a brush.

So I'm using this ink wash.

It's kind of difficult to get thin lines with it

because the brush is quite thick.

But you can get some very nice line variations.

- [Adam] Oh there it goes, yeah.

Make sure you get some nice variation on this stump.

I promise I'll try and pick you a cute thing next.

Promise.

- [Steph] Does he look cute?

- [Adam] He kind of looks like that uncle

that you don't visit.

(laughing)

Everyone's got an uncle that they don't visit.

It's like it's Uncle Roofard.

- Roofard.

- [Adam] He wants you to milk his tentacles.

- I can't even see what his feet look like.

They're just little hairy--

- [Adam] Just like little stumps.

Oh there you go, that looks good.

- [Steph] He doesn't have paws, he's just all hair.

Yours is looking really cute.

- [Adam] I'm blending the beak.

- [Steph] And these little branch details

that you've put in.

- [Adam] He hasn't been struck by lightning.

It's branches, there's totally branches back there

though that look really cute.

So I wanted to try it myself, but it just looks

really quite alarmed he's been struck by lightning.

I'm gonna try and do some of his dark bits around his eye.

- [Steph] Yeah, 'cause birds have quite

unique markings on them.

That's how you can make them look different

from one another.

- [Adam] That's true.

I'm not very good at drawing birds though.

- [Steph] Well you've got all the basic shapes

and now it's just the details.

- [Adam] See that's the thing guys,

you can kind of cheat so easily.

If you get the basic shape down,

so anyone can be like, "Oh that's a dog",

or, "Oh, that's a cat."

If you got the shape right you can kind of make most

of it up.

That's what I do.

Oh, he's got a bit of a dark chest.

Get that chest hair in.

Then the rest of the bits are kind of gradient

into the dark and it's kind of weird to show.

It's something kind of like this.

Are you ready to make another animal?

- Yeah, time to pick another one.

- [Adam] I'm sorry I chose tentacle dog.

I'll try and pick a better one this time.

I'm gonna pick you one from this book.

- [Adam] The frozen planet book.

Okay.

So this is me, right?

- Yeah, this is for you.

- [Adam] Oh geez.

- Oh, well that's not an animal, that's a flower.

- Oh was that a flower?

Okay, we'll let you off.

- One of those owls, you know we saw those ones before?

- [Adam] Yeah, we went to a zoo quite a while ago.

- [Steph] It was a few years ago.

They have a really big circular face.

- It looks like someone's just like caved

his poor face in.

What a beautiful concave head you have.

Okay, I'm gonna pick you one now.

You haven't given me a lot to go with.

- [Steph] A very beautiful side profile.

- It's got a very moist beak.

I don't know what he's been doing.

- [Steph] I think the first half are like where

the birds all are.

- Congratulations, you have to draw every bird on here.

(laughing)

- [Steph] That might be hard.

- Okay, I'll try it a little bit earlier.

- [Steph] Oh, you get to pick which one then.

- [Adam] Wheatear.

(laughing)

I think that he looks cool in that pose.

He's giving you like the look over the shoulder.

He looks like he knows he's good looking.

So you get to draw the Wheatear.

- [Steph] Okay.

- [Adam] You're gonna place him on the, oh.

I didn't really plan mine ahead very well.

I might have to use a different page on mine.

- [Steph] I wonder if I've got your (mumbles).

- [Adam] Try and get his beautiful looking over

the shoulder posing.

- [Steph] Yeah, I like that pose.

- [Adam] I am beautiful.

What a cute little bird.

- [Steph] I might have him looking up at that dog.

- [Adam] Can we call him Wilfred?

Wilfred Wheatear.

- [Steph] The Wheatear.

Should I put like wheat in his ears?

(mumbles)

- Your tentacles look like

they need a milking.

I'm just reading about him.

He's apparently one of most well insulated birds.

So he knows how to keep cosy.

And he has acute binocular vision.

You'd think so with like massive domes like those,

wouldn't you?

Okay, let's try and draw him, shall we?

Haven't got much to go on with the shape.

He kind of looks like a thumb.

- [Steph] You could probably draw one on your thumb.

- He's kind of thumb shaped guys.

Like, again, going with shapes, he kind of

looks like a thumb.

And this bit looks like the thumb nail.

- [Steph] Right.

- So we can go off something like that.

He might just turn into a weird thumb bird,

but we could try.

Oh I love that, look at that.

He's got like a right little feather goatee going on.

Look at that.

- [Steph] He does kind of have like a little beard.

- [Adam] We'll give some kind of indication there.

- [Steph] You really have drawn like a thumb nail.

- [Adam] Hey, it's a thumb.

That's what it looks like to me.

He looks like a big thumb bird.

I'm gonna stylize it a little bit.

But, this whole part will be fun.

Should we leave him like really shocked looking?

The other bird was really cute, so this guy

can be like er.

He's just seen the other bird get struck by lightning

and so he's like, "Oh my God."

How's Wheatear doing?

- [Steph] I wanna try out some of his colouring

'cause I think that's a big part of what makes

him look like his species.

- [Adam] His colours are really nice.

Like, what's the colour of his body?

Like this black white.

- [Steph] There's like a blue to it.

But I've only got highlighter blue, so he's gonna

be done with highlighters I reckon.

I'm just putting in this fur is darker little details.

- [Adam] You use a brush pen way more confidently than I do.

- It's only 'cause I use them all the time.

You use pencils way more confidently than I do.

- [Adam] The good thing about those is that you

can erase them.

Oh what a beautiful little bird friend.

That looks like something that you'd see in like

maybe a kid's book or something.

I really like the style of that.

- [Steph] Can we have a look?

- Yeah, are you ready for his face reveal?

(slow music)

- [Steph] Oh wow, he looks very handsome.

I like all the details that you put in it.

Looks a lot like the reference.

- I hope so, 'cause that's kind of what I was going for.

Please pick me an easy dog to do.

- Oh, that's a good one.

- [Adam] It's a poodle date.

- [Steph] Poodle date.

- [Adam] Wow, what a specimen.

You ready to have a frozen planet animal?

- Yeah, but pick me one different to what you've had.

- Okay.

You ready?

- [Steph] Yeah.

I picked that one.

- You picked the same page.

Okay, we'll try again.

Oh my God.

- [Steph] Whoa.

- This is weird.

- [Steph] We're so similar.

- Hey, uh.

- [Steph] Are those penguins?

- Those are some dirty penguins.

Look at the mullet on that one.

(fast paced music)

Don't jump on the (mumbles).

I hope they're okay.

(fast paced music)

- [Steph] That is quite the hairdo.

- [Adam] Can you draw him?

- [Steph] No, I should draw one of these.

- [Adam] Draw Bruce.

- [Steph] Why is he Bruce?

- 'Cause he's got a really nice mullet.

Hey Bruce is in that picture too.

Another good thing guys, is that the poodles

are basically shapes.

The butt is a circle, the legs are like

tube rectangle things, that's a circle.

Those are like triangles.

- [Steph] Super shapely.

- [Adam] Super shape dog.

- [Steph] I'm jealous, I wanna draw that.

- [Adam] How's that dirty penguin coming?

Burbs, is that you?

- [Steph] I've drawn the strange little hairdo

and putting his facial marking in.

- [Adam] He's like, "Damn!"

- [Steph] I don't know how accurate this picture is

as a whole to nature

'Cause I don't think you'd see a penguin next

to this thing and this.

- [Adam] I'm thinking now we've made here an alien duck.

I think it's awesome.

I think all the other (mumbles) ones are really cute.

- [Steph] Oh, that's looking really good.

- [Adam] But do you like it?

- [Steph] He's got such a sassy poodle face.

- [Adam] See, that's why I search the old poodles.

Seriously, look at that face.

It's like, "Oh, you know you want me."

"I'm all that and a bag of chips."

I'd roll around in the mud with it then we'd become friends.

- [Steph] If you're looking for someone to roll around

in the mud with.

- [Adam] Go with Bruce.

This looks a lot like fun.

It looks like he's done a load of poos.

(laughing)

- [Steph] Stop it.

- He's like, "It was the Wheatear, not me."

It's like a mystery, it's like, "This fall, poo done it?"

I wish you'd like pick that one.

Don't you think he kind of looks like Mr. Burns?

- [Steph] He has an evil name, so--

- [Adam] Heron-patient killer of the marshes.

He's like, "Excellent."

(laughing)

- [Steph] If you guys wanna see us drawing some

of our animals in videos, we've got an entire playlist.

- We'll put it somewhere here for you to watch, guys.

- [Steph] And subscribe if you enjoyed the video as well.

And click the little notification bell.

- Yeah, click it, it's down there somewhere.

So you ring it so I can hear it.

- [Steph] And here's the finished artwork.

Yours are on three pages.

- [Adam] Sparrow.

- [Steph] Oh no.

How to make a boxy top //Remakes - Duration: 5:47.

How to make a boxy top. I made mine from the skirt fabric shown above.

I first removed the waist band, as i didn't need it.

The skirt had a back slit, so i stitched it to make a complete seam.

Remove the excess fabric.

Now place the center back on fold and place your template

Mark all round then cut out.

I'am going to use the already finished hem of the skirt for the top.

I ripped the folded part to create more space for cutting.

Now take one side of the pieces of fabric left, and fold it to cut out the back of the top.

I should have used this side instead for the front, so as to avoid a seam at the center front.

Make the neckline for the back a bit higher.

Now take the other piece of fabric, and use it to cut out the sleeve.

I'am removing some darts that were there.

Place it on fold twice, so as to cut the two sleeves at once.

Use the longer side as the center.

I pinned the armhole so as to draw the shape better.

Remember to add seam allowance when cutting.

The fabric was so thick, i had to cut one by one.

Now stitch the side as shown

Do this for both sleeves.

Take the top pieces, and stitch at the sides, and the shoulders.

Time to join the sleeves to the top.

Let the seams of the sleeve and the top match.

Pin all round, then stitch. Repeat this for the other side.

Now for the neckline, fold back and stitch. I over-locked my raw edges already.

And your done!

How To: Space Buns | Liz - Duration: 3:18.

Hello everyone and welcome to this video!

today I'll show you how to make these buns

it's very easy and quick so if you're curious then keep on watching!

I always make sure to have my hair parted in the middle, so the buns will be somewhat even

as for my bangs, I drag a line from that parting to the middle parting, and drag that line down

when the elastic has two "wrappings" left, don't pull the hair out of it and wrap the rest of your hair around and secure it

that way it stays better together in my opinion

something like this

keep in mind that I'm doing this without a mirror so if you do use that it'll all be good

now putting this side up

same goes for this side, don't pull the hair fully through, wrap the rest around it and secure it with the last part of the elastic

so it'll all stay together

okay, I've done my best to get them symmetrical

if you have a mirror it shouldn't be that big of a deal

if you don't have extensions you can leave it like this, at least, if you don't make a mess of it like I do

I always make these buns with extensions so that's what I'm going to show you

I use the wefths with three clips, I find those the easiest to use for this stuff

I take the middle clip and put that on top directly against the bun, then I wrap the other clips around and secure them aswell

the only thing you need to do is take the hair, put it around the bun and secure itsomewhere with a bobbypin

and the other side is exactly the same :)

it's simple as that, now it's all finished!

leave a comment if you have any questions and I'll answer them

at last, I hope you'll have an awesome week and I'll be here again next saturday, bye!

Causes of bleeding from penis 💉 Emergency Vet Visit 💡 Dog Lessons - Duration: 3:10.

A few days ago we noticed a few blood drips around Rey's penis, so I we looked into this matter, and took him to the vet asap.

Bleeding from the penis is never normal, and if you see this you should ask for immediate diagnosis and start treatment as soon as you can.

Blood from the penis can happen for really one of three reasons:

1. A penis issue: This may be something like penile trauma,

a bit of foreign material caught between the penis the skin that surrounds the penis,

or a prepucial infection.

This is the less common cause of blood coming from the penis

but is easily investigated by your vet.

2. A urinary issue: If the blood is dripping from the penis while he is urinating,

then it is likely a urinary issue like a bladder infection or bladder stones.

Even if the blood is dripping independent of urination,

it could still be a possible stone issue

and typically the course of action is to have your vet run a urine sample,

looking for stones, crystals, bacteria, etc

and they should collect this by using a urinary cathether.

3. Prostate issue:

Finally, the most common cause of blood dripping from the penis independently from urination is a prostate problem.

There are several types of prostate issues

including benign (non-cancerous) prostate enlargement,

prostatitis (inflammation in the prostate)

and prostate cancer.

In many of these cases blood will drip freely from the penis
