Youtube daily about Aug 4 2017

It was the type of story that I don't go searing for it, it was the type that just kind of fell

in front of me when I was interviewing people for other stories.

We always ended up talking about Trump.

The chaos in Washington is really clouding these huge regulatory changes that are happening

in the energy and environment area.

Huge policy changes are happening and nobody is really paying attention outside

of the little world that I operate in.

Trump is undoing everything that Obama did.

And then some.

Last week I was talking with the former EPA administrator Bill Ruckelshaus and talking

about all of these regulations that are being repealed.

He was saying, "Well I'm not sure if people are really noticing."

because there are so many other things going on.

When we have articles left and right telling us that North Korea just launched another missile

and crazy things that Anthony Scaramucci was saying,

I mean it just makes a policy issue seem less pressing.

The EPA is being incredibly productive in repealing regulations.

Bill Ruckelshaus, what he said is, only a major environmental catastrophe,

something like the BP oil spill would galvanize attention but we don't want to be asking

for a tragedy like that to motivate people to pay attention.

So going forward, I don't see - I don't see necessarily anything changing.

What Do Police Think About Killing Animals? - Duration: 5:04.

Police: It's quite a difficult position still isn't it, for something that isn't illegal.

Police: and um, so you have to support it,

Police: no matter what a person thinks.

James: Well, that's the whole point.

James: I mean, even what like slavery was legal but I am sure it took certain individuals

James: to come to a point where they realized, ok this law is unjust

James: and I am sure, you know

Police: People like yourself where the people that can create change

James: Oh well you know, we all try um and you know like I was saying

James: with the actual holocaust a lot of people did that job because they thought it was legal

James: because it was legal, everything Hitler did was legal.

James: but obviously it wasn't right

James: and so, I mean

James: We do what we are told to a point

James: Like I understand it, that your job is

Police: What we do as police?

James: Yeah

Police: We make that choice I guess dont we

James: Sure but if someone told you to do something that you believe was immoral

James: You know what I mean, you can still do it

James: and I guess that's when it comes to the point where you do start to become a balancing act

James: and that's

Police: It is an interesting balancing act

James: It is, it is man

James: Like I don't envy the position to be in it

James: Like some points wouldn't be easy

James: As you just said

James: you can empathize with it

James: Do you find that there is some sort of level of hypocrisy when

James: you both are men of the law, you uphold justice,

James: you protect

James: and

James: say for example, someone was a victim of violence in the morning

James: I am sure you two would be the first to go in there and stop that violence happening

James: to that innocent being

James: that innocent person

James: and then later in the day

James: perhaps

James: you would go

James: perhaps, you would do what most of us have done

James: in the past

James: me, up to only a few years ago

James: and you would purchase an animal product

James: so you might buy a chicken burger

James: and although it seems quite a mundane action

James: what you are doing there is paying for the mutilation and the torture and the murder

James: of an innocent being

James: so it's like, if you do empathise

James: if you do empathise with that being cruel and violent and unnecessary

James: as I think we can all prove that it is

James: none of us need to eat animal products to survive and thrive

James: in fact, we are far healthier and likelier to live longer and

James: reduce our chances of many diseases.

James: So, if it becomes this unnecessary violence

James: do you feel like, on some level there's a hypocrisy with

James: fighting against violence and then paying for it later in the day?

Police: Yeah, totally agree

James: Yeah, great man

Police: I'd be stupid if I didn't say that was hypocritical.

Police: If I didn't like animals being slaughtered but then I went and had a burger

Police: chicken, whatever it might be

James: Yeah

Police: and that's something that

Police: is difficult because it's been ingrained in us hasn't it

James: Absolutly

Police: and we could carry on that path and it is very very difficult to

Police: change your state of mind in relation to eating meat

James: I know man

James: I've been dealing with people trying to get them...

Police: Have you been a meat eater previously?

James: Oh yeah, THE meat eater

Officer: *Laughing*

James: I would stack my plate up with a pyramid of meat if that was what was on offer

James: and I could

James: but I think it got to the point where first of all

James: I realsed that we could live and thrive without eating meat

Police: Yeah, if the world started all over again today, would we do it?

James: Why would we do it?

James: There is no need.

James: And then I took it a step further because I realised, you know, I did it for health initially

James: then I learned what happens to the animals and I decided

James: that I'm not ok with that

James: You know, I'm a peaceful person, respectful

James: and every time I buy an animal product...

James: It's like in the court of law here I believe

James: If I pay you to kill somebody, we both go down equally for that murder

James: Right?

James: and if I pay someone for an animal product

James: I'm paying not just for this package

James: but for everything that happened to that animal along the way

James: All the brutality, all the killing

James: and you know, it can seem hard to change

James: I was a massive meat eater for a long time

James: when I realized that there is as much cruelty in dairy and eggs and all animal products

James: they all come from cruelty

James: I decided, that actually doesn't make sense to not eat meat

James: but still eat dairy

James: It's either you are against animal cruelty and injustice, or you're not

James: and if you are, then the least you do is be vegan

James: I know a lot of people think "Oh vegan, man that is extreme."

James: but vegans... There's nothing extreme about it bro

James: you eat delicious, amazing food

James: It's healthier, but most importantly

James: you've stopped being extreme, because what's extreme is

James: saying you love animals and you're against animal cruelty

James: and then you pay people to torture and kill them

James: So that's all it is man

James: and if it is something that is starting to perhaps resonate for whatever reason

James: all you've gotta do is just look up "how do I go vegan?" online

James: and you just start, man. You just start having more vegan meals

James: When your toothpaste runs out, you get a toothpaste that wasn't tested on animals

James: It is legitimately so easy and so delicious

James: and so, I guess it just takes each and every one of us though to be the change

James: and to say, "Ok, that's wrong! I am contributing to it."

James: This is, as well, the most harm that anyone of us are causing man.

James: You know, we're good people in almost every other aspect of our life

James: but then this one thing we do, three times a day

James: is causing a literal...

James: You've heard them (the animals) scream today

James: It's an actual horror show, man.

James: And they're like children, they are so innocent

James: They are like children. Yhey don't know what's going on.

James: And they suffer this whole time

James: So, yeah man, it's about realising the injustice and then taking your involvement out of it.

James: And that's all that being vegan is

James: Yeah

Police: You make a lot of sense

James: It is a very logical stance.

James: Any way man I've gotta head off

James: Nice to meet you brother thanks a lot

Police: Ok

James: Thanks man, thank you very much

James: See you guys

Onlooker: You are amazing, you are a huge inspiration and activist to all of us

James: Thanks

Onlooker 2: I want to know how you stay so calm?

James: Because I was there, because we where all there a few years ago

James: Yeah that is right, it's about helping each other do better

James: not blaming and shaming anybody, but it is about helping

James: each other, realise we can do better and inspiring people to do that.

James: Try and inspire people to do that

James: because it is like where not, because we are victims as well of this thought process

James: This society that has told us that this is ok

James: so if you realize that everyone else is has been conditioned this way

James: It is not that they are our enemies that are doing this whole thing deliberately, once they can't help it

Police: Sorry guys

James: Yeah man, really nice to talk to you bro, thanks

James: I didn't know why I

Onlooker: He has got good people skills

Ben Carson Goes Nuclear! He Just Drops Major Announcement About President Trump And The RINOs Are Ho - Duration: 13:07.

Ben Carson Goes Nuclear!

He Just Drops Major Announcement About President Trump And The RINOs Are Horrified

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson, who has been a foundation

figure in the midst of the uproar encompassing the White House, as of late gave an interview

with the Washington Examiner.

The retired neuro surgeon depicted his part in the organization and his association with

the president.

Carson gave his considerations on the President's tweets, saying he was sympathetic and supportive

of him:

"I think [the White House has] done well given the level of frustration.

I mean, can you imagine you were elected president and the only thing anyone wants to talk about

is Russia?

Can you imagine how frustrating that is?

"

"People say he's wild with his tweets and things.

I think he's pretty restrained under the circumstances.

"

This distinct difference a glaring difference to other Republican leaders who have been

disparaging of President Trump's most loved methods for speaking with the American individuals.

This incorporates any likes of Lindsey Graham:

Whenever inquired as to whether he thought President Trump's tweets were excessively

reactionary, Carson basically stated:

"I do not know if you can say he's reacting too much.

I would just say he is, perhaps, more reactionary than I might be.

"

Carson went ahead to depict his association with President Trump, who he addresses each

week:

"We're philosophically very well aligned.

He knows a lot about housing.

It's amazing how much he knows about it.

But he's also a very kind-hearted person.

You may not see that sometimes because he's reacting to things that other people are doing

and saying.

He sometimes reacts rather vigorously.

"

Truly, it's extraordinary to hear somebody in D.C. has the President's back, particularly

after a few Republicans have turned out to be so reproachful of him.

Gov Jerry Brown Just Got Very Bad News About His Gas Tax Hike Straight From The Republicans - Duration: 13:42.

Here's The Reason

Why The Senate Added $ 45 Billion To The Healthcare Bill

In spite of the fact that we dislike it, we can stay away forever to a period when the

legislature wasn't destroying our health care.

Whatever we can trust is that they pass laws that repeal unpleasant Obamacare and help

address the gigantic expenses of health coverage.

However, it appears we have far to go, particularly as they propose another costly extra.

Via IJR:

Aside from the broader concern about the Senate health care bill, such as Medicaid cuts, one

of the more specific issues that gets raised up consistently is that it does not deal adequately

with the growing crisis of opioid abuse and addiction …

The new changes earmark a minimum $ 45 billion more towards the opioid crisis, but critics

argue that this does not work if opioid addicts lose their coverage in the first place …

Grants, which would be how much of the money would be distributed, would largely go to

12-step recovery programs.

Access to regular medical treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and drugs that treat opioid

addiction would not be helped by such grants.

This sort of concern features the issue with government-included health care.

I question many individuals like the possibility of their tax dollars going to help individuals

who abuse drugs.

A large portion of us wants sick individuals to get the help they require.

However, sedate addicts expedited this themselves.

While they require help, does it request $45 billion dollars from citizens?

It's a tight spot.

One of numerous, when you attempt to utilize tax dollars to pay for something as colossal

as health care.

A few of us would rather have the administration end such spending altogether.

Yet, that won't occur at any point in the near future.

What do you think about this?

Do not hesitate and write your thoughts in the comment section below.

Thank you

Tragic Announcement About Willie Nelson - Duration: 11:59.

Tragic Announcement About Willie Nelson

Country music star Willie Nelson got some tragic news this week when he was hit with

a heartless death hoax.

Click2 Houston reported that the hoax seems to have started when WLS-AM in Chicago tweeted

that "multiple people in the country music industry" said Nelson, 84, had passed away.

The tweet quickly went viral, with fans all over the country going into mourning.

Finally, Nelson's management released a statement saying that the singer is still

alive and well, and WLS-AM then retracted their tweet.

It's sad that someone would target a legendary singer like Nelson with such a despicable

hoax.

The hoax was particularly scary because Nelson has been suffering from ill health over the

past year.

The Boot reported that back in March, a report from tabloid-style celebrity gossip site Radar

Online claiming that Nelson is "at death's door" and has been so affected by emphysema

and pneumonia that he can't even get enough breath to sing.

In January and February, Nelson was forced to cancel multiple tour dates due to a mysterious

illness that was never revealed to the public.

He previously spoke out about being targeted with death hoaxes, and even wrote a song about

it called "Still Not Dead."

"I got up two or three times in the last couple of years and read the paper where I'd

passed away," Nelson has said.

"So I just wanted to let 'em know that's a lot of horses–t."

We're so thankful that Nelson is still alive.

God bless you, Willie Nelson!

LEARN ENGLISH - About Numbers - Can you count to ONE BILLION? - How much is a trillion? - Counting - Duration: 10:06.

hi everybody this is Misterduncan in England how are you today are you OK I

hope so are you happy I hope so

in today's lesson we are going to take a look at some things that we use in our

everyday life something that comes in very useful when we need to add up or

subtract or multiply in today's lesson we are going to talk all about numbers

the word number derives from the Latin 'numerus' and the numbers we use today

originated in Arabic form during the eighth century the original design of

the numbers was based on geometric shapes the amount of angles used in each

character showed the number value so number one has just one angle number two

has two angles number three has three angles and so on these Arabic characters

have changed very little over the years and are now used by everyone everywhere

there are many ways to express a number it can be expressed as a word as a

symbol as a figure a number represents a particular quantity or amount you count

using numbers calculations use numbers this is called mathematics or maths for

short in American English it is pronounced as math numbers express

quantity numbers express dimensions the height width length circumference and

even the appearance of an object can be expressed using numbers the weight of

something or the mass of an object is also expressed as a number there were

200 guests at the wedding party the tree is 10 meters tall the field is 100

meters wide the pole is 15 meters long the circle is 10 inches in diameter the

house has two doors and eight windows I weigh 11 stone time and distance are

also expressed using numbers how long something takes to occur and when it

occurs and how far away something is or the distance between one thing and

another can all be expressed using numbers

mathematics we use numbers to make calculations numbers can be added to

each other this is called addition we express this calculation as plus for

example 5 plus 4 the result is expressed as equals

so 5 plus 4 equals 9 we can take one number away from another

this is called subtraction we express this calculation as - for example 9 - 4

once again we use the word equals to express the result so 9 minus 4 equals 5

we can also multiply one number by another we call this multiplication the

symbol is expressed as x for example 5 times 9

once again we show the result by using equals so 5 times 9 equals 45 the

reverse can also be done by dividing numbers with each other this is called

division we use the divide symbol to show this for example 50 divided by 5 so

we express this as 50 divided by 5 equals 10 it is common to replace equals

with is when expressing a calculation we can say that 5 plus 4 is 9 all of these

calculations can be described as basic equations expressing large numbers in

English 100 is 10 times 10 1000 is 10 times 100 1 million is 1000 times 1000 1

billion is 1000 times 1 million 1 trillion is a million times a million

so if you were the richest person in the world with 90 billion dollars it would

take 8 and a half thousand years to count up to 90 billion that...

is mind-blowing

numbers are very useful for making lists you can make a list of items while

numbering them and writing down each item with its number next to it to

number something is an action when counted numbers always come in a certain

order this is called numerical order for example the order of numbers between

1 and 10 is always the same you can count up from 1 to 10

or you can count down from 10 to 1 expressing position with numbers is

often done as a way of announcing the results of a contest or competition

dates contained within each month are also expressed in this way let's have a

look at one month in particular August has 31 days and each day is numbered in

the following way...

a number can be described as a numeral a

digit a figure and a cipher people measure the progression of their

lifespan by using numbers to express their age we can work out how long it

will take to get from one place to another by using speed and distance once

again this is expressed in numerical form in your daily life numbers are

relevant to calculate your monthly salary you multiply the number of hours

you work with the rate you are paid per hour most home addresses have numbers in

them your house number your phone number your insurance number your passport

number your date of birth your lucky number your unlucky number your

lottery numbers it would appear that numbers figure in our day-to-day lives a

lot more than we realise

are you good at mathematics some people find maths difficult some people prefer

to make calculations by writing them down on paper while others are able to

do them in their head I hope you have enjoyed this lesson and if you have any

questions feel free to leave a comment below the video

this is mr. Duncan in the birthplace of the English language saying thanks for

watching me teaching you and of course until next time

ta ta for now 8-)

Brand New Conservative Law Just Passed!

The Federal Government Is About To Force Gov. Jerry Brown To Follow This Law No Matter What

Since the election of Donald Trump, liberals still in office have battled.Rather than working

with the president, they've pledged to restrict the greater part of his intends to make America

great again.

They have attempted to undermine his arrangements, making their states far less sheltered.

Be that as it may, now it would appear that two bills will compel them to go along, somehow.

Via Fox News:

House Republicans took action Thursday to crack down on illegal immigrants and the cities

that shelter them.

One bill passed by the House would deny federal grants to sanctuary cities and another, Kate's

Law, would increase the penalties for deported aliens who try to return to the United States.

Kate's Law, which would increase the penalties for deported aliens who try to return to the

United States and caught, passed with a vote of 257 to 157, with one Republican voting

no and 24 Democrats voting yes.

Kate's Law is named for Kate Steinle, and a San Francisco woman killed by an illegal

immigrant who was in the United States.

Despite multiple deportations.

The two-year anniversary of her death is on Saturday …

The other bill, which would deny federal grants to sanctuary cities, passed with a vote of

228-195 with 3 Democrats voting yes and 7 Republicans voting no.

The brutal murder of Steinle has catapulted the issue of illegal criminal aliens into

the national spotlight.

Alleged shooter Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez was deported five times and had seven felony

convictions.

Kate's Law will ensure that deported illegals confront genuine penalties should they reemerge

the United States.

The expectation is that there will never again be victims like Kate Steinle, who was executed

a by repeated illegal.

The second law is straightforwardly gone for states like California, who pledged to challenge

the government in protecting criminal aliens.

This law would deny elected assets to urban communities and states that decline to hand

over these criminals to the legislature.

When they are passed, places like San Francisco will be unable to keep being a sanctuary city.

Most states depend on government assets to keep up their cities.

With those awards gone, they will be stuck in an unfortunate situation.

What amount do you wanna wager those illegals will be punted back finished the border?

What do you think about this?
