So today, we're going to show you a short animated film

by Beth David and Esteban Bravo that has gone very viral and has already been

selected for Several film Festivals and won Several awards.

Oh! Good, good.

"In a Heartbeat".

I already like the name.

It must be about love.

[Sigh] Is this going to be sad?

[Strings crescendo, upbeat staccato music begins playing]

Looks innocent enough.

[Music continues]

Aw.

[Music becomes somber]

I think this young man likes this other young man.

Oh, he's got a crush on that guy!

[Fast heartbeat]

He likes him or something?

[Fast heartbeat continues]

Anxiety, anxiety.

It's his heart. [Anxious noise]

[Fast, urgent music plays]

Oh, you see? You cannot control your heart.

So he's playing... with his heart?

I love this!

I've always liked the animation and this was very well done.

And it's a happy one.

It would make a little boy who feels

warmly about another little boy feel better to see this.

Make him feel like it's not something terrible.

It's very honest because

You know you... you make a decision, you're ruled by your head

or you're ruled by your heart and if you want to be happy...

You let it be your heart.

[FBE]: Okay. So the creators of this video were still in college when they started this project

[FBE]: and only really relied on a handful of others to help create the entire video.

[FBE]: So how do you think they did with the short film?

So they were students who made it

and they've done really good with it.

It's very charming. It's very well done. It looks very professional

They did a fabulous job.

I really liked it because it's happy and I always like the animation anyway.

The whole process of what they did was very, very, very good.

Professional, if I may say.

Well it was pretty artistic. I mean, it was not cheaply made.

You know. The cartoon, the color, the editing...

The flow of the script. I think it was well done.

My daughter's an animator,

so I know how much work - especially computer animation - how much work is in every second of...

of footage.

Takes forever. That's amazing. That was beautiful.

This should be up for an Oscar.

I mean it's just wonderful.

It's done beautifully. If I saw that at a theatre I...

I wouldn't even question the professionalism

or capability of these young people.

[FBE]: So do you thing a short film with this subject matter would have been

[FBE]: something possible to not only be made...

[FBE]: but be so popular and be praised back when you were growing up earlier in life?

No. [Laughs]

I'm sure there were little boys who felt like them

but it was just completely unacceptable.

That's when your sexuality's just coming, starts developing...

And if you don't develop it the way the other kids develop it...

It's probably very...

Strange bad feeling and this would validate the fact that you're okay.

Today would be different, obviously you know, but in those days

I don't think it will be accepted in any way.

Something coming in out of the norm so much wasn't...

looked at positively.

It wouldn't have been praised

it would have been

What's wrong with you people? You know? You're perverts.

I don't even know if we even realized that

relationships like that were going on and if they were

they were pretty hidden.

Gay people were, um,

Staying in the closet. 10 to 15 years ago, I had a, uh, a gay student who was just, um, distraught.

He was distraught because basically what was happening is his parents

were telling him he was going to roast in hell...

and, um

It was very hard to deal with because there was so little...

There was very little out there, and I think that within the last decade

It's improved.

The young generation now, they accept so many things that

The olders could not and would not open their minds to accept.

So, because of that...

You know it's a new day now.

[FBE]: So finally, if the creators, Beth and Esteban, ever see this episode

[FBE]: What would be your message to them about their film?

Um, It's beautiful. Keep it up.

These guys did a great job with this and I accepted it.

I'm not that young

But I accepted it.

Good for you for putting it out there because it's something that's really needed

We do need to remember that love is love and our heart needs to rule so kudos to you.

I think you did a very nice thing.

That validates a lot of feelings for the boys that they can't express and they feel uneasy.

And I'm happy about it, and I think it's a very positive message. You're sending out. It was beautifully done.

compassionate,

realistic, view of

what's really going on in the world and for people to really understand what your message was.

ARSENAL meet Chelsea in a massive London derby in the FA Community Shield in the annual season curtain-raiser.

The Gunners will be determined to get one over on their London rivals following their bitterly disappointing campaign last term as they finished outside the Champions League places for the first time since Arsene Wenger took charge as manager 20 years ago.

Arsenal finished fifth last season whereas Chelsea clinched the Premier League title for fifth time.

Chelsea will aim to add another trophy to the cabinet as they begin their bid to retain the Premier League title and win it for the sixth time.

Antonio Conte is the fourth manager to win the Premier League in his debut season but will hope to become the first man to win it twice in his first two seasons.

Antonio Conte is preparing his Chelsea side for the defence of their Premier League crown. Arsenal and Chelsea have a rivalry that dates back decades and there is sure to be no love lost between the two London clubs.

What TV channel is the match on?. Arsenal vs Chelsea will be played at 2pm on Sunday August 6.

The Community Shield normally kicks off at 3pm, but this year it has been brought forward an hour to avoid a clash with the Womens European Championship final. Coverage from Wembley Stadium will be shown live on BT Sport.

What is the team news?. Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns going into the fixture but the future of the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains uncertain.

The trio could well be gone by the time this game comes around and the Ox may even be lining up for the blues against Arsenal. Chelsea will likely give competitive debuts to Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the London derby.

The blues could also be a key player short come this fixture as Diego Costa is heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
