Youtube daily do Aug 24 2017

hey guys! welcome to today's video. I am answering a question that I got inside

of my photo boss Facebook group which, by the way, you can join for free right now

via the link description below. the question was "what do I do during my

off season" how am I marketing my business? and

growing my business how am i attracting I do clients during my offseason and

that's the question I'm gonna answer for you guys today I thought this was a

perfect topic for today's video so I'm going to be covering some of the things

I do personally and that I recommend you also do as well during your off season

despite how it sounds my offseason is actually one of my busiest times of year

while I don't have as many weddings or gigs on my calendar I am spending a lot

more time educating myself and planning out what the rest of the year is gonna

look like taking care of things on the business end when I think of the busy

season versus my offseason I kind of picture a swimmer I'm into my lane my

head is down I'm working really hard in hustling during the on season the

offseason is my time to come to the surface to take a breather to kind of

look around and take stock and figure out what's been working what hasn't been

working and what needs a little bit more attention in my business the number one

thing I'm doing during my offseason that I highly recommend you also be doing and

your offseason is marketing you should always be marketing yourself but the

offseason is particularly a good time because you just have more of it a few

ways that I go ahead and market myself our blogging shoots that I may not have

had time to blog earlier in the year when I was having back-to-back weddings

so I go back in my archives and I make sure that I take some time to blog these

images taking special care to tag vendors and let them know so that

there's a potential reshoring going on the next thing I do is submit my work so

that I can be featured so this all falls under the marketing category the next

step that I take in the marketing of my business is to map out the next six

months following my offseason now regardless of when your offseason is

calendar maybe it's in the winter maybe it's in this summer depending on what

time zone or climate you live in it could be the opposite of mine but odds

are you will have a time that is kind of more of a lull in your booking and that

is your offseason this is the perfect time to dive in and look at the

potential promotions that you might have it coming up in the next few months you

can go ahead and take a look at your calendar and see if you're happy with

the number of bookings that you have or if you need some areas that need a

little extra attention so you have a marketing plan you've gotten your blog

updated the next thing I like to do is update my website this is something that

does not get done very often just because of how time-consuming it is

after I've gone through and blogged some of those weddings and tagged some of

those vendors I now have new images that I'd like to showcase in my portfolio

take those images and update your website the next thing you'll want to do

in your off season is take some time to network and this doesn't have to be a

big scary thing where you go into a conference center with your business

cards and it's a little bit anxious kind of situation it doesn't have to be like

that what I like to do is find some really cool people and Instagram send

them a message and see if they like to grab coffee I like to network with other

people in the wedding industry but that are not in my same field under that same

umbrella of networking this is also a great time to do some venue walkthroughs

if there's a venue that you've been wanting to work at this is a great time

to contact them go meet them have a face-to-face and walk through the space

so you've updated your website you've updated your blog you have all this new

work it's time to send some of that work to your favorite vendors so go ahead and

create some smaller galleries and gift that to your favorite vendors

potentially they will share those images it's also keeping you top of mind for if

they ever need a photographer the next thing I want you to do during your next

offseason is review your workflows how is that onboarding process for brides

and grooms how is it when somebody inquires with you are you writing the

same emails a lot or do you have that system down now if you haven't thought

about what your workflows in a while check out this series I did I think five

or so videos I also include a free pdf and lots of bonus material and it's all

available here on YouTube so if you check out that series I think it's

really to help you to tighten up those systems

make sure that you're not wasting time here and there throughout the year that

really really add up to really getting into your productivity I want to

encourage you during your offseason to be sure to take some time to get read

inspired travel read a book do something that gets you back to you and maybe dive

into some personal work even if you're playing around with film or kind of

diving into Photoshop or doing something completely different than your normal

wedding workflow I think you can just refresh you as an artist the final tip

that I have for you guys is to educate yourself educating yourself and taking

it online class or reading a book you're really staying sharp you're honing your

skills you're continuing to learn and you're making sure that you don't get

fuzzy in some areas that maybe you could use some work so one thing that I do

that I think might be interesting for you guys to try is I create a to-do list

and I keep it somewhere like inside of my planner or somewhere that I won't

lose it where I have what's called my offseason to-do list

and essentially I create a list of things that I would like to get done

when I have more time so what's cool is when the offseason rolls around and it's

February I can look at a list that I made and maybe June when I was really

busy with weddings and I wanted to work on certain projects but I couldn't now

at that time in my offseason I can look at the list and I can decide whether or

not I should do it or whether I should mix it but it's just nice to have that

list and know that I'm keeping it and gathering it throughout the year those

are my tips for growing your business during the offseason I would love to

hear what you all do if you have some similar tips or something completely

different share it in the comments down below I

would love to hear from you you guys next week bye guys

#Oxlade-Chamberlain among remaining transfer deals Chelsea could still do - Duration: 7:08.

Oxlade-Chamberlain among remaining transfer deals Chelsea could still do

Its not an exaggeration to suggest that Chelseas season could depend on achieving their aim of three to four more signings in the final week of the summer transfer window. http://cdn. caughtoffside. com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Antonio-Conte-Italy-1. jpg.

Antonio Contes squad is packed with quality but dangerously light on numbers, and the Italian will not be satisfied unless he goes into the autumn with sufficient resources to challenge for the Premier League and Champions League titles -- ideally while clearing a headache or two along the way.

ESPN FC runs through five Chelsea deals that could happen this week:. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arsenal to Chelsea.

Its easy to see why Oxlade-Chamberlain is of interest. Chelsea need depth at wing-back and at the central and attacking midfield positions.

Arsenals versatile 24-year-old has experience in all three areas and, as a full England international, would ease the homegrown player shortage on Contes first-team squad.

With just one year left to run on his Arsenal contract and no other top Premier League clubs seemingly interested, Chelsea are in a strong position to make Oxlade-Chamberlain the first Gunner to switch directly from red to blue since Ashley Cole in the summer of 2006.

The big concern, however, is that Arsene Wenger proves stubborn enough to reject an offer as high as £40 million and holds Oxlade-Chamberlain to the final year of his deal, as he has pledged to do in recent days.

Danny Drinkwater, Leicester City to Chelsea.

The departures of Nemanja Matic and Nathaniel Chalobah this summer left Chelsea under-manned in the central midfield long before Cesc Fabregas got himself foolishly sent off against Burnley on the opening weekend.

Drinkwater, another homegrown target and proven Premier League performer, has been at the top of Chelseas wish list for several weeks. The spectacular partnership he forged with NGolo Kante at Leicester City is unquestionably also a factor in his appeal.

Chelsea are confident they can get a deal done, despite the fact that Leicester are reportedly demanding the full £40m banked in the sale of Matic.

Whatever the final price is, with four years left on Drinkwaters current contract and Leicester feeling no compulsion to sell, it is unlikely to be cheap. Ross Barkley, Everton to Chelsea.

Tottenham are widely considered the frontrunners for Barkley, who suffered the misfortune of a significant hamstring injury in training just as Everton confirmed that they had moved on from him with the £45m signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City.

However, Chelsea take particular pride in sabotaging Tottenhams plans whenever possible. Despite their long-standing interest in Barkley, its tempting to read mischievous intent into their desire to battle their bitter London rivals for the 24-year-olds signature now.

Everton dont like dealing with Chelsea -- if they did, John Stones and Romelu Lukaku would be at Stamford Bridge -- but weeks of tortuous negotiations with Daniel Levy might soften their stance.

If the Blues are willing to exceed Spurs reported £28m bid, they can certainly offer a superior wage package. Virgil van Dijk, Southampton to Chelsea.

Centre-back is not Contes greatest area of need, thanks to the arrival of Antonio Rudiger and return of Andreas Christensen from loan this summer.

That said, a player of Van Dijks proven quality would represent a clear upgrade to Chelseas starting back line rather than additional squad cover.

Sadly for the Dutchman and his many suitors, though, it seems Southampton have chosen to abandon their selling model this summer, even going as far as officially stating that new defensive signing Wesley Hoedt has been acquired to partner with Van Dijk rather than replace him.

Chelsea will make a move if they feel a deal can be done in the next week, but they will not force the issue with Van Dijk -- particularly given the way Liverpool were rebuffed and humiliated for a more brazen approach earlier this summer.

Diego Costa, Chelsea to Atletico Madrid.

At this stage, every new quote from Costa is greeted with weary sighs at Stamford Bridge. All parties want this deal to happen, so it probably will.

The main issue is not and has never been a text message, but price. The respective valuations of Chelsea and Atletico for Costa were in different universes when talks began, so consequently progress has been slow.

Costa took the startlingly unusual step of publicly pleading with Chelsea to lower their asking price in an interview with ESPN Brasil, hinting that Atletico were willing to offer more than the £32m that brought him to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2014.

The likeliest outcome is that an agreement will be reached in the next week at a number that will please Atletico more than Chelsea.

What do RAINDROPS have in common with LANGUAGE LEARNING? - Duration: 1:33.

hi what do droplets of rain have to do with language learning

this is Susan Brodar from SPEAK Languages & TRAVEL the World here to

help you improve your English with minimum effort and maximum benefit yes

what do droplets of War two have to do with language learning

well one drop is absolutely nothing but if it drips and drips and drips you'll

fill a sink and if it rains droplets it will fill the sea and lakes and you'll

have an ocean so very small drops if you put them all together make very big

things the same goes for language learning all you need is a few minutes a

day to practice just a few I usually recommend 10 minutes a day and if you

add them up by the end of the week by the end of the month by the end of the

year you'll have learned a lot of English and the regular practice is much

more effective than just practicing once a week so remember a few minutes a day

and you'll improve your English incredibly especially if you practice

your speaking you'll become really really fluent but only a few minutes a

day every day don't forget practice a little bit every

day and that's all for today I

Canastra Ride X Triatlo do Ermal 2017 - Duration: 8:26.

It's impressive!

Every time I go to a race

I forget

GoPro support for the bike, it's every time!

First day, I thought it was 70

now they told it is 66, I do not know.

To tell the truth I do not like to know what happens in the race

Luli missing you a lot

Tell me, how it is

your race

We are at

Vieira do Minho

a city of Braga municipality

North of Portugal,

an amazing area!

Today the competition is Cross Triathlon

Starting with swim

after mountain biking

and then a basic run

Let's go?

Dri Good morning! huhuuu ... huhuuuu ... huhuuuu ...

My first Cross Triatlhon,

It will go well, won't it?

It will be spectacular!

Will it?

They are warming up, look!

Good Morning!

Good Morning!

laughs

Then I'll warm up.

Luli tell me, you are warming up too?

Guess what color of basket I want?

Pink

laughs

You will only do the bike part?

only the bike

Good, huh?

Can I only do bike?

No, you can swim and run

I do the bike

A pink basket !!!

laughs

That's a lot of love Marcia, thank you.

The logistics were complicated

because there were two areas of transition.

This made us

go biking

to bike transition area to leave

the bike and then we still

had to swim to

to the start line

So the distances are all wrong.

laughs

All wrong

because you already have to swim there

It got at the start line

Do you hear me?

Why

the girls

girls

have to start at the end, why?

7km / h on flat

For me it's all uphill, no flats

Serra da Canastra is beautiful

And suddenly

comes a gale, the dust gets in the eye

look there

The swimming leg

begins, look, on the other side

To get there, I guess I won't get there

Ah, there's a boat

Is there a boatt?

heheeeeeeee

To ask is everything okay, are you drowning?

Phew ... there is boat there is boat!

I also forgot the support of GoPro and now what do I do?

The first part of the race, swimming

was in a cable park

which was not yet open

I started neoprene and with the help

of the stream

I swam 1kilometer in 17 minutes

I'm not riding up because I want to show the trail for you.

I do not know what will happen now but

it's DANGER! DANGER!

I'm waiting for Lenildes

because when you say to a person

"I'll go with you all the time"

and you have to be faithful and wait for the person

And now are you on the run or is the bike?

We go out of the water,

enter the bike

and there then when we will have to leave the bike

in town, so there are two different places

Then my "Gosh," I wanted so much

get in the bike transition

every climb

has its compensation, look at this

Over there is Geres

one of the very famous areas of the country

very pretty too

Swimming

Let's go!

Heck, I'm short!

I got water on my down parts

Ahhhhh ...

I'll stay here, then!

He said it's good for cellulite

Lenita Congratulations!

Once again!

Another row, one more round

What's up

after you run the whole way

they put this climb here in the end

Look at that beauty.

Starting the second day

We will climb a place we road yesterday

which has a lot of rocks

Lots?

Lots?

Look! Lots?

Not much, it's really, really, really a lot of rocks

It's easy!

Look, it's easy, see?

Do It for the 1% - Duration: 5:18.

Hey guys, I am

blown away

Okay, so what are you going to do this video?

I said I was gonna put it off till tomorrow, but I just couldn't do that. Okay. I needed to make this video

I needed to tell this story because I was just completely blown away

I mean, I never I never once thought that baseball had anything to do with

life, but

after

What I witnessed tonight

I was like wow how close to life is this and I think you I needed to hear it

But I think you guys needed to hear as well, and I want it. I want to share this with you, so

The Los Angeles Dodgers were in Pittsburgh playing playing the pirates

Major League baseball for those of you who don't know those and it was the bottom of the ninth there was?

No hits Rich hill was pitching for the for the dodgers and the La offense had eight hits

2-0 so Pittsburgh was down agents. It was zero zero game tied bottom of the ninth and

There was this I don't know who the player was, but he hit it into like right field and utley a big his name is

Yeah, utley made he's the second Baseman. He made a diving catch

And here's utley with his diving catch

By am a huge saver, Rich hill who was pitching wet and oh had a perfect game. No hits no errors

Catches his ball in Midair Super bad catch. It was crazy

So that was I don't know I was in the bottom of the 8th and then now

Back to the bottom of the ninth when the third Baseman. I don't know his name

Forsyth

Yet Forsyth. He commits an error so the hitter ended up on first base, okay, but still

Rich show the picture had no there was no hitler

So then in the bottom of the tentacle tourism so zero zero eight it hits two zero

Harrison Josh Harrison John Harrison, I don't know his first name. I don't follow baseball much, but

Harrison goes up to bat he strikes out twice already

But he was that bad four times and his fourth time I backed in the bottom of the 10th he hit a home run

in the bottom of the 10th one hit

One Run

How heartbreaking?

Was that for riches and a perfect game?

Movie getting broken, no-hitter, no-hitter

Broken it hits one hit

And the game is over

Pittsburgh won it one up back one home run, and they won the game. I mean how crazy is that -

To life to what we're doing what we're going through every single day. We're disappointed when everything is not going our way

That's just like this is what life is life. Is that we wanted back. That's what I mean, that's what I'm doing

I mean, I don't care about that ninety nine people that say yeah, you're not gonna. Make it anyway. You're not gonna

Go, no way, you're not gonna do nothing with your life

Can I get on mount anything don't listen to those 99 people instead focus?

I got one person one hit that one home run that one opportunity cuz yeah, yes, four opportunities

But most the time in life you have one opportunities to opportunities

I mean the chances chances of you having four opportunities and like finally seizing you this I mean it happens

I'm not saying it doesn't happen, okay?

But it's not it's not regular and you go out on a date with a girl you have one chance or two chance to

It has a park with her. You know we got a third or fourth

I mean if the girl has high standards you don't get a third, but I'm just saying you about one opportunity

What are you gonna? Do with that one opportunity? I'm just like totally blown away with it

It's crazy how how it relates to acting how it relates to life. I would really expect to anything really this moment in

Major League baseball I've never sweetness anything like this, it's incredible

And I just want you guys to focus

Stop full

stop focusing on that other stuff like

99 people that are negative or try to put you down to three console's better focus on that one opportunity be prepared

So what you're ready, so when that one opportunity comes, you strike a new hit a home run

That's what I want to see that's what I live for that's what I want you to live for I love you

I'm loving life right now. Everything's going great. I know things are gonna turn to shit at some point, but at this moment

Things are going great, and that's just what life

Life is

Success is this it's not this

All right guys have a great night. I'm gonna go to bed. I'm so happy I made this video

I'm Gonna upload it

Post it right away because I want you guys to hear this I needed to do this I needed to see this and I know

Somebody out there that one person needs to hear this as well you go up to bat you hit it out of the park all

right

boom

Things To Do In London | Sushi Making Class - Duration: 6:25.

Hi I'm Joel and I'm Lia and today we are at Sozai Cooking School to learn how to make our own sushi!

and we're really excited so lets get going!

So hello hello Izy

you so much for having us. Thank you. Absolute pleasure to have you

I thought you said I love you then and I

thought I love you too!

So temari sushi. I put fish and the wasabi and rice

if you touch it with dry hands it's going to be really sticky so you wet your hands okay

and have rice

You must know how to make it don't you?

do you just scrunch it up?

that's right yeah like that and just twist it

Lets do it Joel!

So you do this one

Lia's really good at cooking. Am I? I think she is.

She's better than I am.

You make a temari sushi

Give it a squeeze. Just a twist, gently twist.

try not to squash it Lia

"try not to squash it Lia!"

That looks amazing!

lets choose my garnish

(Sarcastic) really amazing presentation thank you

Have you seen this before?

No

This is tofu

It is is deep fried and marinated

So this is perfect people like me who don't eat fish

Yeah! Sushi doesn't mean raw fish so I do make a

vegan sushi. Okay. With so many people in London now being vegan or vegetarian

not just London, kind of everywhere everybody's becoming a little bit more

aware of how much meat and fish they're consuming just for the planet's sake so

absolutely.

So sushi, you've stuffed it with sticky rice

You can put lots, especially to the corners as well

this is a parcel. It's like a pouch.

It's like a little Christmas present.

and thats it

oh I can do that

lets give it a go

right, oh it is sticky isn't it

Nice. It's really really nice very good yeah

well done!

So we are going to do hosomaki which is slim roll

one filling, using cucumber

maybe the fish version is tuna. Okey dokey

then it's ever so easy simple look but

actually quite tricky okay so shiny side down

a hand full of rice

about 80 grams, thats about 79

spreading the rice except one finger width

of a rice free zone on the top

okay this is so fun

quite therapeutic isn't it?

it reminds me of being a child when you do stuff with your hands all the time

and make mud pies!

not anymore?

umm occasionally!

I think your one is really good Joel. I think mine's a little bit too skinny

okay stop showing off guys

so you can scoop from underneath and it will travel really well

I'll do a tiny bit of wasabi yeah can I just say that is gonna blow your mind

No its not!

It is.

I don't think it is

Ok. What do you mean? Look how much (wasabi) he's put

Just clearing up his sinus

Lovely. So let's roll.

use your thumb up under the bamboo mat all of the fingers

on the fish or cucumber.

you lift your bamboo mat up and now

bamboo mat is meeting the end of rice and landing on nori

and with excess rice what we do is we cheat it

I just eat it

you need to lift the bamboo mat up one hand and with the other hand roll it over

Oh i'm very good at this! Shutup Joel

nice feeling isnt it?

Oh no

You made it quite, you've got a lot of power

see, Lia, yeah she's very heavy handed!

no I'm not you knew that would annoy me!

so is mine square or round?

Lia shape. Lia shape!

So this is my sushi i'm a vegetarian so I went for the vegetarian options which is avocado and peppers in the California roll

lovely colors yeah and then this is my futomaki with egg roll in

there and peppers and now I've got tofu stuffed with sticky rice

as well as this which is cucumber maki

and my inspiration was Izy

well done! beautiful so colourful

I've made some salmon hosomaki some salmon and vegetable futomaki and

avocado salmon inside out roll which is called uramaki

I cannot wait to eat this I'm a huge I'm a salmon lover and you'll

and you'll notice you'll that whilst mine and Izy's are perfectly round Lia's gone for the Lia shape sushi

yes so you can do round square or Lia shape so just bear that in mind

How did you do this triangle? Well Izi it's taken ten years

Well thanks so much for joining us today

don't forget guys if you want to book yourself a cooking class you can check

out the link in our description be sure to check out our Instagram and Twitter

page we've posted some lovely pictures of our sushi and of our amazing chef

Izy yeah thank you very much we're gonna eat this now!
