Hey guys, it's Alex Beadon here

Today I want to show you exactly how I use Instagram stories

This is the question I get asked all the time

and today, I'm going to show you all of my tips and tricks

So what I'm going to do is actually plug in my iPhone

straight into my computer

so that you can see exactly what it is that I'm doing on my iPhone

Let's dive in.

So obviously if you want to create a story

what you are going to do I swipe to the right

which is going to open up your camera

Now you can see what filming really looks like

So I'm just going to take a picture and show you what I would do

to edit it.

So let's just say that I want to take a picture of my laptop

and maybe we can put my tea there

create some kind of nice fancy thing

Oh yea, by the way, I'm in pajama pants

the truth is out

fancy on top, party on the bottom

So we are going to take this picture

Maybe like that

Cool

And as you can see the first thing I did was swipe to the left

So that I could edit it

And obviously there are many different options here

I quite like that one so i'll stick with that one

Then I'm going to add text

and I really like to mix both

written word text and then also drawn on text

So I'm going to write

Today is a Sunday

So I'm going to put Sunday

I press done

And as you can see I'm just resizing this here

You just resize it by doing *this* on the screen

Sunday, and then I will take my little pen tool up here

I'm going to press this

This little icon down here, and this basically shows you how

big is your brush

So if you go all the way down, this is as big as it is

If you go all the way up, this is as big as it is

So it's really cool because it allows you to

experiment with different sizes of brush

which a lot of people don't know about

A lot of people are like, how do you hand write your captions

And I'm like, I just use the brush tool and make it super small

So it looks like a pen

Anyway, so I'm going to write "Sunday filming"

Done

Now, let's go a little bit further with this shall we

So if I take my brush tool again

as you can see there are multiple brush options at the top

We have the pen, we have what I like to call the highlighter

We have what I like to call the glowy pen

and then we have the eraser

I'm going to go with the highlighting option

Im going to choose my pink and I'm going to make the brush really really big

and I'm just going to draw straight through this 'Sunday' here

so we have Sunday in a nice bright pink colour

And then I'm going to look at it and think, okay this looks good

what else can I do to kind of make this better?

I'm going to pick my pen brush again

and I'm going to go over that initial 'filming'

with pink

I think that looks messy

I don't think that looks good

so if you want to undo something

all you have to do is press at the top left hand side of the screen

Undo, undo, undo, undo

until it's all gone

So I think this is good for now

Maybe what we can do is add a little

drawing at the bottom, maybe something like that

I'd prefer it in white, so I'm going to choose the color white and go like that

Next thing I'm going to do is add some emojis

I LOVE using emojis

If you follow me on Instagram you will know this

It's just like the best thing ever

So instead of using the emoji sticker option up here

I don't like using this because it takes forever to find what you are looking for

I just tap as though I'm going to add text

I try to search for the emoji that I want

Actually, you know what I'm going to go for

I'm going to go for this filming emoji here

Sunday Filming

Move that down there

It's cool because you can make it really really big

You can make it really small

Yo can put it where you want

I'm going to put it down there

Another thing people always ask me about is

putting multiple text items

So just to show you, I'm going to write down

'This is my'

I'm going to make that really small and put it up here

Then I'm going to put microphone underneath

A really cool tip is

putting spaces between each letter of a word

Jus to make it look a little bit different

So M space I space C space R O P H O N E

Microphone

This is my Microphone

*dun dun dunnnn*

Now another thing to keep in mind guys

I never like to bring things all the way to the top up here

because Instagram actually put your name up there

So I try to avoid the top and the bottom section because I know Instagram put stuff there

So I'm just going to put ' This is my microphone '

*dun dun dun*

Another thing that I like to do to highlight special words

Is I will go to microphone

I will select all

copy it

done

I will create a new text

paste

turn it into pink

and make it small so it goes directly on top

So 'microphone'

So as you can see this doesn't look really good because the pink on brown isn't a good mix

So what I'm going to do is move the white one

move the pink one back in

and put the white one on top so the pink is just the background

there ya go, microphone has a little bit of a shadow now

which looks cool

another thing you can do is

'This is my'

and bring it over here

'This is my'

and then ' Tea'

Now what we are going to do here is select the pink

and then at the very top where it says 'A'

I'm gonna click on that

That gives you a nice solid pink background

Which I think is really really pretty

If you click the 'A' again

You get a transparent pink

which is also really nice

So I will stick with that

So we've got, this is my microphone, this is my tea

I think 'This is my microphone' is missing a little bit of pink

So I'm going to take the highlights color and bring it up about 50%

and just go like this

So there is a little bit of something going on

maybe I can do that over here again

so there is some kind of consistency

looks good

next thing i'm going to do is take the white pencil

and just pint ' This is my microphone'

this is my tea

There you go, there you have it

We didn't actually add any emojis which is hilarious

Oh no, we did add an emoji

I'm going to add more emojis

I know that there is a microphone emoji

That's actually not the microphone I'm looking for

So let's try and find it

I'm gonna go to the emojis

Gonna go all the way over here

Where are you little microphone, oh there you are

It's like a podcasting microphone, it's super cute

So, this is my microphone

again, we don't want to put it too high because we know Instagram likes to cover it up

This is my microphone, this is my tea

We are going to take out little.....

We are going to take our little cup of tea

and put it over here

this is my tea

and Sunday filming

and what i'll do as well

Something that I like to do

is take sparkles

because you know, I have <b>The Spark Loung</b>e

Clearly

Clearly <b>The Spark Lounge</b> is my thing

So I kind of like to add little emoji reminders

that are on brand

so for me, the sparkles do that very well

I also have a pink heart and a

yellow heart that I use all the time

So I like to try and use emojis that represent my brand

that might be something that you want to do as well

So I will just resize these, put them all over the place

So it feels nice and magical

So the more effort that you put into things

Like I made this post the other day

and I basically said that your content should stand out as much as possible

by basically creating stuff that's hard to replicate

Most people are not going to take the time, effort and energy

to put emojis all over their Instagram stories

so by doing that, it sets you apart from the rest

One more thing I'm going to add

is my little heart

my little yellow heart

one after the next

How to Delete an Instagram Account (Permanently and Temporarily) - Duration: 2:18.

Instagram has changed the way we keep up to date with friends,

family, celebrities and many more.

But the constant pressure

to diarise our lives and follow

what others are doing can be emotionally draining and time consuming.

If Instagram sucks time from your day

or gives you negative feelings it could be time to delete the account.

So without westing more time let's

o guys there are two ways to remove yourself from instagram,

the first method is tempriory which means you can return to the aacount

in case if you change your mind in future.

and the 2nd method is permannently,

it will delete all your photos and videos.

so first of all I show you how you can tempriorly disable your account

you can not diactive an instagram account

rom within the app. so you will need to go to

instagram.com on a browser.

you can do this on a Computer, mobile or tablet.

now login to your instagram page.

just tap on this person icon. hit on this edit profile.

scroll down to the bottom and here you can see

temporary disable my account option.

Now select an option

and disable your acccount. confirm this message

and that's it. now if you want to permannetly delete

your instagram account, I suggest you please take a full backup

of your instagram account.

you can do this for a third party tool called

Instaport. after backuping your account

it's time to delete it.

now from a browser go to instagram dedicated page

for deleteing account. links are given below in the discription box

if you are not logged in.

Weekly Yoyo Update - New Green Ann Connolly Edition Sage, Instagram Contest - 8-2-17 - Duration: 4:24.

Welcome back to the Weekly Yoyo Update.

Our top story this week involves a new color of the Sage yoyo.

This new green edition was supposed to come with normal Sage caps, but instead it arrived

with the Ann Connolly artwork.

Our news team is currently trying to track down how this happened, but we are pleased

to have on the line Ann Connolly to discuss this development.

Adam: Ann, can you hear me?

Ann: Yes Adam, I can hear you.

Adam: Great.

So as you can see we have a strange development where your name and heart themed artwork made

it onto the new green Sage.

How do you feel about that?

Ann: Well you know, Adam, a girl can only have her name on so many pink and purple yoyos

before she needs something a little different.

I have always wanted a green signature yoyo, so I am glad we could make this happen.

Adam: Ann, perhaps I misheard you.

Are you saying you had something to do with this?

Ann: What are you saying?

That I started an email campaign along with a petition to make this happen?

That I have been calling the factory behind your back to get a green signature Sage made?

Would I do that?

Adam: I suppose that does sound a little ridiculous.

Ann: Of course it is.

On a completely different note, I also heard the purple Ann Connolly Sage will be restocked

soon as well.

Adam: How did you hear about that?

We never announced that.

Ann: Gotta go Adam.

How To Create Ads For Instagram Stories - Duration: 4:19.

Hey everyone this is Viren and welcome back to my marketing channel. In this

tutorial I'm going to show you how to create ads for Instagram stories. So a

few weeks back Facebook decided to launch ads for Instagram stories and you

can use the whole bunch of targeting available to you on Facebook ads for

Instagram as well so let's get right into it and create an ad for Instagram

stories. If you are new and you don't know how to get started with ads in

general on Facebook please refer to some of my earlier videos in this playlist

otherwise you can start right from here and let's start by going into our ads

manager and I'm going to create a new campaign. So you can use Instagram

stories for a lot of different marketing objectives like reach traffic or app

install so we are going to just get started with traffic.

You can decide if you want the traffic for your website or app. I'm going to

leave this as a website. You can add offers to your ad now. This is a new

feature that Facebook has added and this is available for all kinds of ads. Let's

create an audience. I'm going to quickly create a small audience. So I've very

frequent international travelers, who speak in English, in the age group of 18

to 35 in the city of Mumbai in India because I'm going to try and create an

ad for a holiday package to Dubai. Now this is the interesting part where

you're going to edit the placement and go to Instagram and select Instagram

stories and as soon as you select Instagram stories. You'll notice that all

the other kinds of placements have been unchecked because Instagram stories

requires a 9:16 format of content which is not supported on any other

placement kinds. So let's continue with this let's set up budget of say about a

thousand rupees daily. Run my ads continuously for link clicks. Bid

amount is automatic. I would like to charged on CPC. Standard delivery.

Let's continue and make the ad. Make sure Instagram account is connected and now

you can select either a single image or a single video. Here are some of the

image guidelines, the pixel requirements, the ratio, keep little to no text. I've prepared

an image, let me just upload it.

swipe up now and when you swipe here's a

learn more call to action. So you can just add the destination URL here, I'm

just going to leave it at my site.

if you want you can send the users to just chat with you on messenger. If you

want you can change the call-to-action, I'll leave it at learn more. That's

about it we're done. We can place the order and as you can see we've created

the Instagram story tutorial campaign. It's pending review and this usually

takes about 10-15 minutes for it to get reviewed and the ads will begin.
