Youtube daily what Aug 23 2017

Hello friends and not yet friends!

Welcome back to another What I Ate Wednesday, the weekly show where I share all my tasty

vegan eats in a day.

And special warm welcome to all my new friends who found us through the Boston Cream Doughnuts

recipe!

Have you tried it yet?

Let me know what you thought in the comments below.

The OG's know my days usually start with tea or a smoothie or something like that but I

got sent an Avalon Bay Air Fryer a couple weeks ago and woke up just needing to make

something in it.

Before this, I had heard the air fryer hype and wasn't super convinced but long story

short, I'm obsessed now.

So this morning, I'm cooking up a big batch of Five Spice Tofu to go on my breakfast congee,

among other things.

On the last last What I Ate, I showed you how I get my tofu quite dry so it can fry

easily without oil spitting at you.

This is another method.

This extra firm tofu has already been drained and patted with a dry towel and now I'm just

crumbling it into chunks into another clean dry towel.

And then, squeeze!

Pretty simple but effective.

Since the tofu no longer has this water in it, there's more room for our marinade to

soak in.

I basically took the jackfruit bao marinade and doubled it for this amount of tofu.

Except for the oil.

When you're air frying, generally, you don't need as much to get things crispy!

I gave the air fryer basket a little oil spray and then in goes the tofu.

Set the timer and away we go.

I left the recipe link, temperature and timing instructions in the video description if you

want to try this too.

You can do this in a regular oven if you wanted, but the air fryer seems to do it faster.

And doesn't heat up my whole condo like the oven seems to.

Plus there's no need for parchment paper and spreading out tofu...it's just easier this

way!

And you guys know, especially with my tendonitis issues, I need things to be easier!

And now we have tasty, chewy tofu bitsies with little crispy edges.

So delicious.

But that's just the topping for my breakfast congee.

Today's congee is made with leftover coconut turmeric rice; hence the yellow colour.

On goes the five spice tofu.

Scallions.

Some of my homemade kimchi...made a bit less spicy than usual so it's not as red as usual.

Nori bitsies.

And some sweet pickled carrots.

Now that's insta worthy.

But is it nom-worthy?

So much yes.

That five spice marinade is my current fave.

Cinnamon, anise, sweet maple syrup, tangy black vinegar.

Yup, now I remember why I used to have congee for breakfast all the time.

It's so good.

And good for you.

Later, I made kale chips.

Which is like super ordinary vegan food right?

But I still love it.

The problem with making kale chips is either it takes forever in the dehydrator or they

bake unevenly in the oven and you have to keep fishing out the chips that are ready

and leaving in ones that are still soggy.

It's a bit annoying to be honest.

Not a problem with the air fryer.

After washing and drying the kale, adding a bit of oil and flavourings, you can just

add the kale to the basket in batches.

Set the timer, live your life, then ding!

Perfect crispy kale chips.

No more trays with burnt chips and soggy kale in the same batch.

I've found it is better not to overload the basket though.

Not a problem since each batch goes for 4 or 5 minutes and you can just dump them and

do a new load in seconds.

And this is how I'm eating way more greens than ever before.

Let's just say, my digestion has been super A++ as a result.

But did you think I'd skip my smoothie?

Not a chance.

I smoothie for health reasons.

I feel like the extra protein in my day really helps with my repetive strain issues.

Also, I restocked on chocolate nutrition powder.

So yay chocolate.

Just a bit healthier source of chocolate than my Boston Cream doughnuts.

Which, by the way, I'm so impressed that so many people have made it already and sent

me their pictures, both on instagram and privately through facebook or email!

Keep them coming, friends!

I love seeing it when you make my recipes.

I can't even properly describe how happy you make me feel.

You know what else is a happy feeling?

The crunch of the super crunchy tater tots.

No, this is not the usual type of dinner, but I had to try out tater tots in my new

air fryer on camera....for you!

Nevermind that I've tried them already a few times and maybe I'm making excuses to have

air fried tater tots again because I can't get over how much better they are in the air

fryer versus the oven.

But my boyfriend suggested Tater Tot Nachos so how could I say no?

First, put them frozen tater tots in the air fryer.

Set the timer for 20 minutes.

I've seen online instructions for less time but I need super duper crunchiest of the crunchy

tater tots for my otherwise potato hating boyfriend.

Yes, what kind of monster hates potatoes?

But I swear, he has other redeeming qualities.

Meanwhile, prep your toppings.

I'm cooking some potatoes and carrots.

Now I've tried a few different potato and carrot cheese recipes and most have been alright

but they taste like carrots and potatoes.

Which wouldn't be such a big problem, except I hate the taste of boiled carrots and my

boyfriend hates the taste of potatoes; unless super crispy as aforementioned.

But I finally tried Hot for Food's Nacho cheese sauce.

It's much more than the usual carrots, potatoes, nooch and apple cider vinegar type jam.

I know, I know.

A bunch of you already tried this before and know all about it and even told me to try

it and I've been late on the nacho cheese train.

Anyways, I will totally eat boiled carrots like this.

As long as it tastes as good as this delicious vegan nacho cheese sauce.

And it's so quick to make too.

When your tater tots are as crunchy as you want them, lay them out on a plate; I'm using

parchment paper for easy clean up later.

Since I want the tots to stay as crispy as possible too, I'm making space for some of

the wetter toppings.

Which include some leftover bean vindaloo.

Salsa.

Nacho cheese sauce.

Scallions.

And cilantro.

And more nacho cheese sauce.

Because I couldn't resist.

And a bit more green on top; mostly for the instagram pictures.

And that was dinner.

Those crunchy tater tots, salsa, spicy vindaloo, zesty cheese sauce, and fresh scallions and

cilantro.

It was so good.

Not exactly a balanced dinner, more of a treat, but so worth it!

I have since tried more healthy things in the air fryer, like roasted cauliflower, roasted

peppers and that sort of thing which have been bomb, but this has probably been the

most fun thing I've made yet.

Well...not counting the air fried donuts.

So if you want to check out my air fryer, linky in the description along with a coupon

code.

You're welcome.

And if you are already on the air fryer train, let me know what you've been making in there!

I'd love to try even more.

Thanks so much for watching, friends.

Please give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and share it, especially with your

air frying friends.

Plus subscribe if you haven't already and turn on notifications so you never miss a

thing.

I hope you're into pumpkin because there will be awesome pumpkiny things soon!

Bye for now!

What is Wholesaling in Real Estate… 7 Steps to 5 Figure Months - Duration: 12:49.

Closed Caption by YouTube hey my friend on this video what I'm talking about wholesaling and real

estate me seven steps to five figure month hm

alright alright alright so yeah we're talking about wholesaling real estate

yes and we use it I bring you something to talk about sometimes question of

masters today we're talking about the topic hosel and real estates in seven

steps seven steps to five to go months okay so and I lay this out very nicely

for you so that you can literally follow it okay the first step is to build a

bias list okay yes I saw some other videos about some people say no you

don't need it badly anybody that sir you don't need to do

the list please once you hear that ever run away from them as far as possible

you needed bias list especially it's be on YouTube and they are building a

subscribers and base list on YouTube and they're telling you to not build a list

don't don't listen to them okay you need a bias list it is a beautiful it's a

hungry prospect biases now how do you do that you can do that simply by giving

something away something of value that you know a prospective buyer will want

to know I'll give an example here you can read it some description I said

something like how to buy real estate investment properties at seventy five

cents on the dollar and eleven mistakes to avoid in the process if somebody is

thinking about buying real estate properties for investments we don't want

that information yes of course but they want that commission that they're

willing to give you the email address your phone number in exchange for that

maybe not everybody by a percentage that's good enough to help you build

your list so you can make profit the money you're going to make in the real

estate wholesaling business the hands of somebody else right now okay it's just

in the hands of somebody else okay so how are you going to get it from them

by serving them okay so you start serving them from the back seat giving

them free information value information that you can find useful in their

business second step is to find a deal okay if you don't find a deal you're not

going to close deals right and one of the hardest thing for people to do is

find a deal if you notice something about the two first steps it comes down

to marketing you're a marketer you're not really a wholesaler you're not a

real estate professional you're a professional marketer and you need to

master that we're going to talk more about that but yes you need to find

a deal you need to find motivated sellers who distressed property people

that have properties that is pretty much in addition to everything else that's

going on in their life their food story is a liability but if you take it over

it becomes an asset for you what if you get to take it over hug for just ten

dollars and then three people for $12,000 I'm going to show you that

example in a second so stay tuned step number three negotiate the deal once you

find a deal somebody would distress motivated seller you need to negotiate a

deal alright and negotiating the deals is as simple as giving an offer okay you

don't have to overthink it okay first of all you make sure they're much better

seller meaning there's a reason why they must get rid of this property I saw

yesterday all right you don't have time to wait three months with a realtor or

they don't have time to be staging the house the house has some issues it could

be easy could be the mortgage on it they could be owing weight much more

than what the house is worth whatever any of those things are you

come in as a solution person facilitator and you come in a tick over that problem

from them that problems become an access for you because obviously your story is

different from theirs right so but that's how it works it's a win-win for

everybody right you come in you negotiate a deal

so now we shouldn't do for me it's very simple I offer I have a formula for it

whatever the after repair value of the property is and multiply that by 65% and

then I subtract the estimated cost of repair from that and the result of that

is my offer so for example if they if the property is worth $100,000 all fixed

up staged right it needs about twelve thousand dollars to get to that point

right I would offer one hundred thousand dollars times sixty five to ten less

sixty five thousand dollars my not the repair cost estimate four thousand

dollars that comes out to about sixty three thousand dollars and it's very

simple I will just offer them fifty thousand dollars and then out if they

say anything along you know I'll give you fifty three thousand aquabats it if

they say no I'll walk okay because again I have a pipeline of not just a buyer's

list but also a prospect like these people looking to get rid of the

property calling me from time to time using the formula I'm going to be sure

with you here right you find any deal right so how do I find big deal well

well most of all let me tell you to go to Direct Mail right they tell you to

knock on doors right some people will tell you to go hang bandit signs which

is illegal by the way bandit sign is illegal I definitely

don't do that okay yeah take it from me because I've been hit before with

tickets okay also sending direct mail to people it's an overpriced method of

marketing you don't have to do that especially if you're not the booze or

booze okay if you're not a good that's already making tons of money if you're

not the owner of fortune builders don't do that you're going to waste money

you're gonna lose money that's what's going to happen okay even the owners of

fortune builder I think eventually they will all lose money because it's just an

overpriced form of marketing these days okay because cheaper ways online to

market and to reach a lot more people especially with the next tip I'm going

to share with you this is all still undefined in a deal right well they are

teaching a ton of people and you'll tell our meetings at the hotel events right

it's teaching them to go direct no let them keep doing that well you know what

happens when the average prospect see those letters they see a bunch of those

letters they still go online anyway to do some research if they find out online

the command line to do some research you just want them to find you at that point

and to make them find you at that point is all for free if you learn the skills

that I call search engine optimization and that's something I cover in my free

class and if you want that you can just go to my link on the screen a lot of

stuff come slash mastermind to learn how to do that it's called search engine

optimization when people search for how to sell their house fast and the host of

all the type of terms that is that it type in they've searched those terms

because a bunch of other servers are sending them letters and you just want

to be positioned right there and ready to help them give them what they want

which is the information first all right you get the information first you

collect the information you give them a call you sign them up and we go on to

the next V once you find the deal without spending a dime okay on direct

mailing and that takes it to the next point here right so you negotiate a deal

right you find it you you negotiate the deal by giving them that offer right you

contract the deal you give them the offer you store the offer and fund them

if they agree to the five the Trulie motivated to sell the poverty that we

are setting off of $53,000 on $100,000 they don't want to spend it $12,000 on

doing the work we just want to get rid of the situation

you take that contract from them you have a sign okay you can find a contract

in your local real estate investments Club okay you could buy it okay

just all find a lawyer you look Google estate lawyer to give you attorney to

give you that information right and you get that sign never give it for a

wholesale you don't ever give more than $10 okay in deposit first of all you can

sign it for free okay they are really at the end of the day you just trying to

get them to come back it's a macro commitment to say hey I'll

sell you property for fifty three thousand dollars they may say can we get

these boxes that I'll give you $10 and I'll put it $10 on the contract that's

it anything more than that it means you're not talking to a motivated seller

okay all right cool so you contract the deal is this step 4 okay so step one by

a beauty buyer's list we'll talk about that step two find a

deal step 3 negotiate the deal step 4 contract the deal put it in writing okay

put that in writing step 5 flip to a buyer you have a

buyer's list right just mail your buyers list once you put this stuff on the

contrary just an englis about let's say hey I have a new contract if you want it

I'll give it to you for $65,000 remember you picked up the contract at the price

of fifty three thousand dollars you spent ten dollars right now you're

potentially you're about to make $15,000 you give it to them for $68,000 you can

make at least $10,000 so you spent ten dollars to make ten to fifteen thousand

dollars I mean think about the return on investment and just maybe two hours of

your time maybe the few minutes you want to drive

by there to take a look at the property give it an estimate how do you get the

repair estimate by the way just ask the homeowner okay we'll just think it is

worth okay have your owner you don't have to spend money on estimates

estimated repairs your home would I have an idea anyway the number is off that's

the whole point of multiplying the number by 65% because when you do that

you have some cushion to work rings okay even if anything plus the contracts are

completed on upon inspection and other things like that so you don't have to

overthink anything okay so you flip it to one of the buyers on your list it

doesn't matter if this cash buyer or multi buyer as long as there's no

restrictions about are on the outside of the restrictions are more

there could be some restriction on mortgages but however your local

attorney would tell you that information outside of that it doesn't matter if

it's cash buyer or mortgage buyer money is money okay most money on electronics

anyway that money's going to end up electronically electronically in your

bank account okay so you don't have to worry about oh it

must be cash by another noon you're selling wholesale okay somebody's

getting a discount because you found the deal and you deserve every dime of that

fifteen thousand dollars if you make and fast imitates and you make this happen

okay so step number six build a team okay be the team you know start teaching

I'm building the team okay because again 24 hours in a day I don't care how much

money you're making you just need to build a team you need to leverage your

team and what you did I start teaching people start teaching other people to do

this stuff it's okay the world is big enough for everyone teach it okay

teaching to people some of them are going to get stuck

some of them will get stuck okay and when they get stuck with the deal they

run to you with this deal and you partner with them and you make fifty

fifty you make it happen as additional income for you anyway and yes at some

point they will stand on their self on their own and it's okay okay the first

four deals I did I did with a partner who was another mentor to me was a

mentor and I just listened I said I'm getting stuck here help me out it did my

first four deals he made a hundred grand I made a hundred grand we're happy okay

everybody's happy is win-win for everybody

and guess what a homeowner is actually happy to get rid of the properties as

well too okay so number step by step number seven

build a system okay once you see yourself with you

I mean you built a team right you want your team to duplicate your success once

you see yourself maybe repeating yourself or you see yourself repeating

the same lessons every time or how to do something recorded to my video creates

checklist right that people can simply do check marking like this seven step

right here and go to the steps and people can literally duplicate your

results because and checklist and always be a man that can always be tricked and

you know to to compensate for changes in the marketplace and things like that but

you want to create those checklists you want to record videos of things that you

don't want to find yourself repeating over and over again it's called leverage

okay the last two steps building 18 I'm building the system around this old

process it's called leverage and leverage is the name of the game and

leverage means you can make more money from the whole process than 24 hours

allows you to make okay that's what you call every you can do more with less

okay so ideally the most important steps in all of this is building the bias list

okay that's generating leads and finding deals that's also generating leads and

I'm look I'm going to teach you how to do that for free without spending a dime

on direct mail or spending money and walking around in the middle of the

ghetto trying to hand off signs and stuff like that I'm going to teach you

how to do it the proper way okay how to do in the digital age and

that's what I'm doing in the free class that I'm doing which is a lot tougher

complex mastermind you see the link on on the screen I'll write the link right

under the on the video towards your left right or last talks calm slash

mastermind you wanna you can click on the link by the way you can click on the

link inside of the description box it takes you inside you reserve a seat

okay and you want to attend that class okay now I'm giving away a ton of other

things like three more videos three PDFs I will show you how the generate needs

get rid more business on the Internet and for free

okay properly so take advantage of it and if you like this video and you have

a team already and you want to share them to them please feel free to share

this video maybe you know somebody in real estate or something that will find

value in this video please help me share this video with them they will really

really appreciate it I will appreciate that and if you like this video and you

find value in it give me a thumbs up if you have more questions about real

estate wholesaling posted in the comment below I would love

to see them and I would love to give you an answer as much as possible thank you

so much I will see you on the next episode hopefully even enlighten and

educate it I will see you on the next episode peace

🔹🔹Is Diarrhea A Sign Of Pregnancy | You Will Be Astonished What Doctors Think About It🔹🔹 - Duration: 3:11.

early pregnancy is an absolute joy the nausea the cravings the bladder that's

somehow shrunk to the size of a hamster but no one told you about the other

tummy trouble you may experience diarrhea can diarrhea be a symptom of

early pregnancy or should you maybe have skipped at macaroni salad at the picnic

I'm prone to an irritable digestion I can't have dairy sugar hates me and if I

eat too many Brussels sprouts I begin to question my major life choices so I

wasn't really paying attention as much as I should have to my bathroom habits

when I was trying to conceive because according to the American College of

Obstetricians and Gynecologists ima in fact be a symptom of early pregnancy I

just assumed my body was revolting against me as it is wont to do maybe not

why are you likely to get diarrhea early in pregnancy according to the American

Pregnancy Association blame it on your hormones yep the same things that gave

you acne as a teen can send you running for the bathroom when you're pregnant

the hormonal upset shifts your body perhaps causing new sensitivities to

food or your life in general leading to diarrhea it can be as confusing as your

kids leaving their toys to watch other kids play with toys on YouTube because

many women myself included are prone to getting diarrhea before or during their

period for the same reason according to Columbia University's go ask alice it's

all the prostaglandins fault according to Columbia

they stimulate the uterus to contract which can also stimulate the bowels to

do the same this is why diarrhea is more often associated with uncoming labor

than new pregnancy because it is so much more common to have diarrhea in the

third trimester than the first but can diarrhea be a symptom of early pregnancy

as well according to LIVESTRONG it can

absolutely be a sign of pregnancy but it's just as likely to be from any

number of other sources including virus or general food sensitivity however if

you are trying to conceive now may be a good time to evaluate any other subtle

symptoms you may not be noticing or take a test it's also a good time to chug

Gatorade and scour the web for signs of early pregnancy good news you've

probably already done one of those things and the other may make you feel

even better

'Will and Grace' Ask for 6 'Hero' Senators to Stand Up and Impeach Trump – Here's

What They Missed

"Will and Grace" actors Debra Messing and Eric McCormack voiced their disapproval

of President Donald Trump in the way many of his critics have — with a call for his

impeachment.

They responded to an opinion piece published by Newsweek that screamed in all caps on the

page: "TRUMP IS JUST SIX SENATE VOTES AWAY FROM IMPEACHMENT."

And while the article very clearly outlined the process, noting that the president must

first be impeached by the House of Representatives (where it would likely be far more difficult

to get the majority to vote against him) for a Senate vote to be relevant at all, the headline

and feature photo do not reflect that at all.

McCormack

started the train:

Finding Dory: What Went Wrong? – Wisecrack Edition - Duration: 13:39.

Hey, Wisecrack.

Jared here.

Okay, we're about to do something a little risky, a little crazy, and maybe even a little

sacrilegious: We're criticizing Pixar.

Because even though it's brought us the tear-jerking joys of Inside Out, Wall-E, and

the Toy Story saga, its genius is not entirely above some sloppy storytelling.

Turns out no studio can resist the allure of a cash-grabby sequel, and that's kind

of what 2016's Finding Dory felt like to us.

It just didn't seem as emotionally resonant as Pixar's best work, and -- being the obsessive

nerds that we are, here at Wisecrack -- we had to ask ourselves, "why?"

It's worth mentioning here that, according to the Guardian, FINDING DORY underwent massive

rewrites.

Were those rewrites to blame for our dissatisfaction with the movie?

Is FINDING DORY a lesser film than FINDING NEMO?

Is this simply a case of sequel-itis?

Are we just over fish stories?

Let's filet this thing and find out.

Welcome to this Wisecrack Edition of Finding Dory: What Went Wrong?

And, as always, spoilers ahead.

But, before we dive in, thanks to the team at LastPass who helped make this video possible.

Like everyone you're probably tempted to use the same few passwords over and over again.

I mean, seriously, coming up with hard to crack passwords and remembering where you've

used them is a just a pain.

Using the same passwords again and again, is a pretty bad idea.

Sites like Tumblr, LinkedIn, even Domino's have been hacked before.

And, with a constant flow of new data breaches – it's nearly impossible to keep track of

which hacked site could be jeopardizing your online security.

That's where LastPass comes in.

It's an online password manager that can help you protect yourself and preserve your

sanity.

Not only does LastPass help you create secure passwords, but it also manages them for you.

No more hassles, no more remembering which password is for which site, no more forgetting

where you wrote them down, no more getting locked out of your accounts!

You can safely and easily surf the net and avoid having to enter the first concert you

ever went to or your grandmother's cousin's maiden name.

The free version is great, and if you want the premium features like family sharing and

priority support, it's just a couple bucks a month.

Thanks to LastPass for sponsoring this video and check them out at the link in the description

to get started!

And now, on with the show!

Finding Dory comes up short in at least four key areas where FINDING NEMO excels.

For the sake of clarity, let's categorize these problems as: 1) Clouded emotional investment,

2) shaky narrative structure, 3) passive heroism, 4) purposeless entourage.

To be fair, these issues are almost impossible to separate from one another, so there will

inevitably be some overlap.

But here we go, anyway...

First: the question of emotional investment.

A key objective of any screenplay is to get the audience to care deeply about the protagonist

a goal that's often achieved by first getting us to care about whatever our protagonist

most values and/or needs.

Maybe the protagonist is focused on scoring an internship...or on going the distance in

the boxing ring...or on breaking free of a suffocating life.

Whatever the case, in most strong screenplays, that desire is established early.

It's singular.

It's powerful.

And it generates our empathy.

In FINDING NEMO and FINDING DORY, the protagonists' goals are blatantly similar.

In the first film, Marlin searches for his kidnapped son; in the second, Dory searches

for the parents she hazily remembers.

Although there's nothing wrong with leaning on the trope of the missing family member--

I mean, it works for Liam Neeson.

Finding Nemo and Finding Dory unfortunately have different attitudes towards the magnitude

of loss.

That's because only one of these films-- offers us a baseline before it rips a loved

one away.

And it's that baseline that creates emotional connection between us, the protagonist, and

the protagonist's need.

In other words, even though the bulk of Finding Nemo keeps Marlin and Nemo apart, it first

offers a sense of what these family members mean to one another.

As early as the first minute of Finding Nemo, we're told what Marlin values more than

anything else in the world: "These are our kids we're talking about!

They deserve the best!"

And Marlin proves that value system through his actions: In the film's baseline moments,

we see Marlin protect his son, then tease his son, then prepare his son for school, then bring

his son to school, and then lecture his son.

We have a sense of history.

So when Nemo gets kidnapped 15 minutes into the film, we, like Marlin, have loved, and

we have lost.

We are invested.

Finding Dory offers no such baseline, so it never offers the gut punch delivered by its

predecessor.

In fact, Dory loses her parents within the five minutes of Finding Dory.

In the opening scene of the film, Dory, even to her own parents, is positioned as something

of a liability.

A cute little goof.

Shortly thereafter, like bubbles in a bathtub, her parents vanish.

How much can we really be expected to pour our emotions into losing characters we never

knew?

If Finding Dory can't get much mileage out of the parent-child bond that energized Finding

Nemo, then what is the central relationship here?

Where do we invest our empathy?

You might guess that we feed into the bond between Marlin and Dory.

After all, they did spend a whole movie together.

They're probably totally buds now, right?

Not really.

Seems the arc of personal growth that Marlin and Dory experienced in Finding Nemo has reverted

here, with Dory now being viewed as a nuisance by pretty much everyone.

Sadly, it isn't until Dory is separated from the relationships she formed in the first

film that we're introduced to what is supposed to be her source of support in this movie:

the, uh, bond-- between Dory and Hank, a curmudgeonly octopus who wants only to exploit Dory for

the transport tag attached to her fin.

And, yeah, that's pretty much it.

That's the nature of their friendship.

Heartwarming, right?

The emotionally deficient relationship between Hank and Dory is almost entirely transactional

and deceitful, which doubles down on the film's empathy gap.

But later, FINDING DORY hastily tries to switch gears, and that brings us to our second point...

2) Shaky Narrative Structure.

Take a look at most memorable films, and you'll find the protagonist making a key decision

right at the center of the story.

It's a moment that reframes the protagonist's objectives and tests his or her resolve.

Some refer to this as the film's "midpoint shift.

It's no coincidence that the halfway mark is often a major moment of self-reflection

for the protagonist; a turning point in his or her journey...

So what happens halfway through FINDING DORY?

Well, Hank reveals he has a soft spot for that loopy blue fish

...but where did this sentiment come from?

It's surely not earned by any particular actions or moments in the film, itself, because

Hank and Dory are never really a team --and, unlike Dory and Marlin, they're never really shown

enjoying their adventure.

And, hey, come to think of it, Hank isn't even the protagonist here!

In any case, since Dory and Hank have almost no moments of genuine connection within the

first half of Finding Dory, Hank's change of heart towards Dory, midway through the

film, can't help but feel unearned.

Contrast this with the realization Marlin experiences at the middle of Finding Nemo.

Here, Marlin begins to recognize the error of his overprotective parenting style.

And this realization is a direct result of his control-freak behavior nearly getting

Dory killed.

Throughout Finding Nemo, this midpoint shift and other character-revealing moments are

directly motivated by cause and effect.

Nemo is motivated to put his life in jeopardy because he learns his dad is heroic.

Marlin is motivated to team with Dory because he realizes Dory can read.

Later, Marlin is motivated to separate himself from Dory because he thinks his son is dead.

In Finding Dory, however, key moments in the story, like Hank's change of heart towards

Dory, are largely motivated by convenience and necessity.

They are simply what need to happen to move characters from point A to point B. Later,

Dory refers to Hank as.

Even though evidence of any such sweetness is scarce at best.

But, hey, in this movie, being an ass is pretty easily forgiven, as long as you pay lip service

to some sort of growth.

Deep into Finding Dory, Marlin tells Dory.

"Ever since I met you, you've shown me how to do stuff I've never dreamed of doing.

Crazy things."

But even this sentiment, too, seems unearned, because it leverages moments from the first

film -- in which Dory and Marlin adventured and grew closer together, rather than from

this sequel, in which they are either separated from each other or annoyed.

Nevertheless, this moment is meant to play as a moment of self-awareness and maturity

from Marlin.

Which raises the question: what is Dory's key moment of self-awareness in Finding Dory?

"You remembered in your own amazing Dory way."

Wow. You've got to wait until the movie is nearly over to find out!

And this illustrates Finding Dory's third setback.

Passive Heroism.

For much of the film's running time Dory operates as a passive protagonist.

one who responds to events rather than create opportunities.

Some of this tendency is due to her all-too-convenient memory flashes-- which handily take the story

wherever the screenwriters need it to go.

These flashes, and even the occasional undertow,

are driven more by chance and proximity than as a result of personal effort or growth.

Although, sometimes it's almost as if the film is suggesting Dory's disability can be willed way.

This perspective seems, um, fishy at best.

And it doesn't leave Dory with many opportunities to demonstrate her ingenuity and development.

Events often happen to Dory, rather than because of her, and that's never a recipe for great

storytelling.

Of course, another cause of Dory's passivity is the nature of the film's actual environment.

After the film's first twenty minutes, Dory quite literally becomes a fish out of water,

a status which restricts her movements to the whims of other characters.

How much can we expect our protagonist to be the master of her own fate when she's

being carried around in coffee pots, baby buggies, or in a bucket that's labeled "Destiny"?

By trading the thrilling blue ocean of the first film to the claustrophobic, human-centric

clinical spaces of Finding Dory, Pixar ultimately hamstrings the scope of the story it's able

to tell, and the degree to which its protagonist can help tell it.

Dory, then, isn't a driver of her own story, she's a passenger -a passive responder to

triggered memories, an odd partnership, and, very often, blind luck.

But at least her personal motivation remains relatively clear.

"Do you know anyone who lost a kid a long time ago that would be me?"

She wants to find her parents.

And so, if we're willing to buy into the premise of the film, we must simply want to

find them, too.

Even though Dory's desire to see her family is very conveniently triggered by the school

of fish saying the word "undertow" it's true that Dory's ultimate objective is never in doubt.

But the same can't always be said for Marlin in this film.

And it's even less clear for Nemo, who, at this point, seems in desperate need of

Child Protective Services.

And this leads us to... The Purposeless Entourage

I'll pause here, to ask a simple but important question: why does Finding Dory involve all

three of these fish?

And does Nemo's involvement actually negatively impact our feelings about Dory and Marlin?

That's right - Marlin, having just a year earlier crossed the perilous ocean to save

his only surviving child, now agrees to drag that same child with him to guide Dory all

the way across the ocean again simply because: "How can you be talking about the view when

I remember my family?"

Um, okay.

But this springs from the studio's need for a sequel, not from clear character behavior.

Ultimately, Finding Dory commits the sin of asking Marlin and Nemo to undermine so much

of what made Finding Nemo powerful.

After all of the emotional investment we as an audience made in Nemo's recovery in Finding

Nemo, Finding Dory asks us to believe that Marlin, responsible father extraordinaire,

is willing to risk his own son's life on the basis of Dory's hunch about her parents

she hasn't seen in years.

And no, I'm not being hyperbolic: Nemo really, seriously almost dies-- I mean, couldn't

Marlin find a babysitter?

Why is Nemo part of this new adventure?

Why does Dory, who presumably cares about Nemo's safety, agree to pull him along on

a dangerous mission to serve her own personal agenda?

The film mostly bypasses these questions, and -- if we are to enjoy it -- so must we.

But we should all take a moment to at least recognize the weirdness of ending a fish movie

with a car chase on the freeway.

And, hey, look at that!

Dory's a passenger again.

In her own movie.

Thanks for watching guys. Peace!

What role, if any, will ISIS and Iran play in end time events? - Duration: 2:53.

And, guys, I want to start with that question, what about ISIS, what about Iran, what do

they have to do, do they have anything to do, with end time events?

Hitchcock: Well John, I've written a book called ISIS, Iran, Israel: and the End of

Days where I delve into a lot of these issues.

And I've come to the conclusion that ISIS is not mentioned in the Bible.

I think a lot of people would agree with that conclusion.

But I don't think that means that there's no significance to ISIS.

We've all seen ISIS all over the news, I mean, just the mayhem and the carnage and

just, just how barbaric and vicious they are.

And their goal is to establish a caliphate in Iraq and into Syria, to really, to establish

this caliphate in order to bring in the global kingdom of Islam in the world.

And I don't believe that ISIS is mentioned in the Bible, but I think that ISIS does have

a significance, though, in kind of the buildup that the Bible speaks of to the end times.

And a couple ways we can see that is, one of the events in the Bible, in Bible prophecy,

Daniel 9:27 tells us that a future ruler called the Antichrist is going to arise and make

a peace treaty with the nation of Israel.

Now, obviously, the chaos that is being created by ISIS I think is furthering the desire for

some kind of peace over there in the Middle East.

So I think God has allowed ISIS to do what they're doing, again, to set the stage for

the need for this peace in the Middle East.

Also, because of ISIS, both Russia and Iran have placed troops in Syria, right on, they're

poised on the northern border of Israel.

And the Bible speaks of an end time war in Ezekiel 38-39 that both Russia and Iran will

be involved in.

So I don't think it's an accident that they've used this, Russia and Iran, as kind

of a subterfuge to get their armies into Syria.

So, while I don't think ISIS is mentioned in the Bible, and I don't think they play

a specific role in the end times, or at least we're not told that in Scripture, they're

part of this build up that we see happening in our world today.

And we can see how that's leading to the events that are predicted in the end times.

Rhodes: You know, I agree with that completely.

And I'm just thinking as you're speaking about how, in the end times, Scriptures seem

to indicate that there's going to be a continual unrest in the world, with people crying out

for a leader who can make sense of everything, that can bring the world back to unity, that

can end the madness that we see building almost everywhere around the world.

And so I think that what's happening today is setting the stage for the emergence of

the Antichrist, even though ISIS is not mentioned in Scripture.

What happens in the library? - Duration: 8:07.

People tend to think all I do is loan out books and put books away but our job

here at Deakin is so much more than that. Managing the physical collection the

physical space maintaining and monitoring things that go on in there.

We have a core presence in the faculty areas building so go and visit their

academics researchers teachers over there and we also have a place to set up

and we kind of engage in a part of faculty. I also offer outreach services

in which I spend one afternoon a week in the CADET building in the School of

Engineering and this way academics or researchers and HDR students can drop in

and see me designing I guess elearning modules embedding digital

literacy into the curriculum there's many facets I guess to the role and some of

them are realised by some people and others are realised after we kind of show them.

One of the things I think that Deakin does particularly well is they've

adapted to this digital online learning and I think that liaison librarians and

other librarians feed into that really well because we're able to provide

online modules, videos, and of course there's these 'Ask a librarian' discussion forums

that are really helpful. I encourage academic chairs to create a

discussion in CloudDeakin called 'Ask a librarian' and that way if students have

questions Cloud students can see what their peers are asking and even ask

questions themselves and this is an opportunity for me also to put up items

of interest or tips and tricks or upcoming library workshops and

seminars. But probably the best way I think we do it is one-on-one Skype

sessions and we can Skype anyone from a PhD student in India to an undergrad on

the other side of the bay, Port Phillip Bay, to an honours student that just

has been at home can't get out because they have a child. It was quite exciting in T1 where

we knew we had someone in Paris and someone in Puerto Rico and you know just

knowing that you're reaching these people that we wouldn't have before.

A lot of what we do actually is assisting Cloud students as well as on campus so I

think we're contacted by students as much via email or even phone you know

via Skype for Business as much as we see people face-to-face - probably more

get to attend those sessions through the Skype and it's a great way cause it's interactive they

can chat to us why we're conducting the session so we teach them all about our

library services and that gives them a chance gives everyone the same chance with

no matter where they are at Deakin to have the same knowledge as an on-campus

student would have. I think that's probably the best way that we do it live chat it

gives us the opportunity to have more in-depth questions and searching

questions that we don't get at the desk because students don't I get the

impression they don't tend to come to the desk and leave their computer to ask

those sort of questions so when they're on the computer they do. Chat I just think

has made it so easy and user-friendly for our clients to ask questions.

I believe that so many people using the service are people that wouldn't have

asked us questions at all and wouldn't you know wouldn't have been game to make

that approach because I find a lot of times at the desk, too, they say, 'I'm sorry to ask

this' or you know 'this is probably a silly question' or they seem much freer

and I guess that there's that little bit of you know you can't see me so there's

that little bit of confidence plus just the amount of hours that our chat

service is available I think it's about 16 hours a day. So that opens it up to so

many people and again the world because we you know it's always amusing when you

can see they're in a foreign country you know and it's 8 o'clock at night and you

know they're contacting us. We do a lot of behind the scenes work actually even before

the trimester of teaching started to help academics get their unit sites

ready so that's actually supporting the Cloud students through all of the e-readings

making sure all of the texts are available for them before the teaching starts.

I do spend a lot of time with academics one on one helping them around

their publications and sort of helping them helping to explain the role of

Elements; Find A Researcher; DRO; and explaining those workflow processes to

them. Also, I encourage academics to set up an ORCID ID for themselves if they

haven't already done so. We're also often we're on discussion threads for

particular units and so throughout the trimester we're sort of posting on those

discussion threads and answering students questions as the trimester comes

through and then on top of that we also create a lot of content that supports students

in the Cloud. Creating elearning modules on digital literacy, once again they're

always via electronic means so if you're a Cloud-based student you're

getting the same kind of access to this these sort of resources. So, might be a

help guide or presentation for that can be put on a unit site for those Cloud

students so that it's sort of obviously if they can't come to the library for a

library class we could do that class either via Blackboard collaborate

which we do do sometimes or also yeah create an online video.

I spend a lot of time with HDRs sort of talking to them about thesis by

publication, PhD Xtra, and so on. We do some sort of teaching as well

for different students that come in about how to use our resources. I try to tell them

about how to construct a bit more of an advanced search you're thinking of

different terms to use so just think how to commit a crime like look up lock

picking or you know stealing or things like that

and we constructed the search and then we ended up finding a how-to book about

writing for crime and the client was really happy with that and so it's kind

of an interesting little session that one. Why are there books in the library?

there is so much information in the world but it's not all been digitised

it will never all be digitised and there's some really valuable resources that

university libraries have in their collections that will never get put on the web

but that are really really valuable to people who are researching or needing to

answer an enquiry. Another part of my role is to attend the School of

Engineering's teaching and learning committee meetings and also I'm invited

to attend intensive week feedback sessions and this is where Cloud

students are given the opportunity to give feedback about their courses and

it's an opportunity for them to meet me as their librarian as well. I also attend

information sessions the School of Engineering organise and these could be

to do with a day in the life of an engineer series. When answering a

question, with a client at the desk or live chat, doesn't matter where, it's not

just about delivering a single answer it's about building their capacity to

find information themselves.

How To Visualize What You Want And Get It - Duration: 12:10.

How to visualize and get what you want. Here today at Limitless TV Kris Krohn and

I've brought, by raving fan review, Marianne Denovellis back. This is the queen of

visualization. And today if you watch this video and wait to the end, she's not

just going to teach you how to visualize and why, she's going to teach you how to

leverage it as a tool to manifest what you want.

Let's talk about how to get what you want. You know as a mom, I hear this all

the time. I want this, I want that, I want that. If you've ever been to the grocery

store or the supermarket with one of, with a kid, if you've ever been to the

grocery store as a child or if you've ever been a child you have heard this

phrase, I want this I want that I want that. So how do we do it? How do we get

what we want? Let me just share with you a story. I was at one point climbing up a

ropes course. And if you've ever done rock climbing, you've ever been to a

ropes course you know that it involves a fair amount of physical endurance. And I

can remember, I'm climbing up this ropes course wall. I've got a blindfold on. I

don't know where the handholds are. I don't know where the footholds are. I

don't know where my next grip is and I'm trying to get to the top of this 40-foot

wall. How do I do it? Well here's a couple things that I had with me, I had a team, I

had a mentor, and I had someone giving instructions. I also had a safety harness

and I had someone on the ground making sure I was safe on the other end of the

rope. But the end I'm getting close to this wall and I can't see where to put

my hands. I can't see where to put my feet. I'm getting tired. My fingers are

getting sore, my legs are starting to shake a little bit, and I'm still who

knows how far from the top. I had to shift something in that moment because I

could have easily given up. Now if I had fallen off the wall, no big deal. I'm in a

ropes course with the safety line right? Someone's going to catch me. But how

often in your life do you go for what you want?

and you get tired? and you get stuck? and you stop. And you can't see. And when you

let go, sometimes there's not a safety harness there to catch you to start

right back where you start left off from. So what do we? do how do we get what we

want in this life? Maybe you have a goal of reaching a certain dollar amount or a

certain income level. Maybe you have a goal of a relationship. Maybe you have a

goal of help healthy body. Maybe you have a goal of reaching a person of power.

Maybe you want to speak on stage. There's so many goals to choose from. There's so

many beautiful things we can do when we're in this life. What is it that you

want?

How do we get there? that's the key.

That's what we want to answer is, how do we get from where we are to where we

want to go? There's a pivotal tool that if you forget I can almost guarantee you

won't get there and here's what it is. You've got to be able to see it in your

mind, on your way there, before you actually get there. There's an Olympic

swimmer who is going for a distance swim. And what happened? She got tired. Just

like you and me. Get tired, lose motivation, and she was swimming miles

and miles and miles and she got a half mile before her goal and she gave up.

She let the tired overwhelm her and she stopped and had the safety boat come

pick her up.

When she found out that she was only a half mile from her

destination, you can imagine how she felt. She did it again. She said, I was only

half mile I could have done another half mile if I had only known the finish line

was right there. She got up and she did it again. She's swimming miles upon miles.

They're stacking up. There's muscle fatigue. There's help that needs to come.

She is going and she's going and she's going and she gets to that point again

where she's about to give up. But something shifted this time.

And when she

got to that finish line, when she reached that Island, someone asked her, how did

you do it this time? You felt the same thing you did last time of getting

overwhelmed, of getting tired, the fatigue set in and all did it but you made it

this time. We want to know why? what made the difference for you?

And here's what

she said, I saw myself at the finish line.

I saw myself at the end.

Same thing

happened to me when I was on, when I was on that ropes course. I was climbing that

wall. I was getting help from the top. I was getting help from the bottom. I was

getting help from all around this harness, the safety. Everything was in

place. But I felt so stuck on that wall because

I couldn't see my hand holds. I couldn't see where to put my foot. I didn't know

my next step and I didn't know I was going to get me to the top until this

moment when I realized I had to see myself at

the top.

I had to see myself climbing over that wall.

Let's talk about you, your

goals, your dreams, your drives, your ambitions. Everything that you're

shooting for. Can you see yourself there? Can you see yourself in that body of

health? Can you see yourself in that healthy relationship? Can you see

yourself crossing that finish line? achieving that financial goal? can you

see in your mind's eye the millions of dollars in the bank account?

And I'm talking details here. Let's imagine for a moment that you want to

build a house. You want to, that's your goal. You want to have this beautiful

home. Can you see yourself there? And I'm talking detailed. I want to get down to

the nitty-gritty. I want to know every little detail of what it looks like to

be in that house. Let's say you're building a house and I want this house

to be purple. I want the walls to be a beautiful white color in this bedroom

and I want him to be in a blue color in this next bedroom. I want this kind of

molding to be on the bottom of my walls. I want 500 thread count sheets on my

guest beds and 12,000 thread count sheets to be on my bed. I want the

dimensions of this king-size bed to fit here and I want my room to be 25 by 25

foot room. I want the pile of the carpet to be an inch and a half and I want it

to be that off-white egg color that I found at the hardware store the other

day. Are you getting the picture? do you see how detailed your visualization gets

to be? Do you see yourself in that home? Can you feel your toes in that carpet?

Imagine all five of these senses coming to you. You've got five senses, let's play

with them all. When you go into your visualization, here's what I do. I take a

moment, I close my eyes, and take a deep breath.

What does it smell like in my new home? Does it smell like fresh baked bread coming

out of the oven? Does it smell like crisp clean linens in the bedroom? What does it

feel like? What are the curtains feel like on my hands? what does the wall feel

like when I touch it? How do the bricks feel on the outside

that built my home? What are the colors that I'm seeing? What are the flowers

that are growing? What foods do I eat in my home? What is the first meal that I'm

going to eat in my brand-new home? You've got your eyes involved. What sounds am I

hearing? I've got my ears involved. What does it sound like to be in my new home?

What, what does it sound like when the fireplace is on? What does it sound like

to hear my kids running through the halls?

You've got your smell, what are the smells I take, I smell in my new home?

what are the smells I'm experiencing in the kitchen? in the office? in the bedroom?

what do I want it to be like when I walk in there? You got your taste, we've got your

touch, you've got all five of your senses playing at once so that any given moment,

you can be there in that home. And when your goal manifests, it's no different

from what you experienced beforehand. I got to share with you how this story

translate from my world. This goal I achieved. For so long, my dream was to go

to Hawaii. I felt like I was Polynesian on the

inside and I got to tell you, I've even had my Polynesian friends tell me I'm an

inside-out coconut. White on the outside, brown on the inside. And I saw myself

there for so long. Ever since I was a kid, and I remember watching a little mermaid

I was like, oh I gotta be in this tropical place. It just called to me. I

could feel it. I can feel it. I want to be there and it took me years and years and

years to get there. But I remember the first day I gave myself permission to

even try it on. You know, so many times, we're getting this idea of, am I lying to

myself by trying this on? by experiencing? by saying to myself I'm in Hawaii right

now. Am I lying to myself to get my brain to do something? You know what? You're

telling the truth in advance. This is called manifesting. This is called

bringing the past your reality and living as if right now. I visualized, I

sat there and I would put my toes in the water at the pool and I would pretend

that it was the ocean. I would put my hands in the sand on the beaches of the

river and pretend it was the hands that were in the sand on the beaches in

Hawaii. I would put on my swimsuit and I would go outside and I would feel the

sun and and know that it was the same sun that was shining in Hawaii that it

was same sun that was shining on me at moment. I had all of these bits and

pieces that I had gathered up to create this experience for myself and then I

gave myself permission to buy my plane ticket for the first time. And I got to

tell you, walking down to that beach after already having been there in my

mind was the fulfillment of my manifestation. When you manifest, you

visualize. What you're creating has already happened.

And what you're

creating goes from impossible to inevitable.

It has to happen. Think about

this, this system is already at work in your mind. Your mind already functions

this way. This is already happening in your world. Tell me if you've ever said

these words, man I knew that was going to happen. Or even this, I saw that coming.

This is how your mind is working. You already have visualized and made and

brought to pass and created everything in your world that you want to bring

together. This is already coming together in your world and here's the key I want

you to take away, it is no harder to create what you do want than it is what

you don't want.

Take your mind, shift it into the gear, put into overdrive and

manifest what you want. So how do we take it from visualization to action step?

You're here, you haven't got your goal yet. And your goal is way over here. Guess

what's in the middle? this big gap between you need to fill in the gap or

make a bridge. So here's what I want you to do. When you're visualizing, when

you're building, when you're creating all the details and creating this beautiful

experience in yourself, there's a one question that you have to ask yourself

and here it is.

What do I get to do today that brings me toward that next step?

When I was on that wall, I was climbing. I wasn't at the top, I wasn't at the bottom.

I was on my way. My next step wasn't get to the top of the wall. My next step was

I need some place for my left hand to go so I can lift myself higher. That's my

next step in this moment and that's something you're entitled to when you're

manifesting you are entitled to the inspiration that gets you to your next

step. I guarantee you there is one single step that you can take today if

more to get you where you want to go.

apparently I'm a tire salesman new damages everything you touch sell

excavator tires delightful well alright then let's move on to the second quiz

here are you addicted to your phone how long have you had your phone my current

phone or in general it's over six years what do you use your phone for I'll go

with this one except I don't actually listen to music I play games sometimes

but barely and very rarely do I actually go on the internet with it what do you

do when your phone does die I start to panic I don't care but mostly

I don't really care too much do you sometimes think that your phone is

ringing even though it is not no it's usually text actually how often do you

clean your phone I actually clean my phone quite a bit because if my phone

like falls on the floor or it gets dirty or something like I don't want it I

don't want to be touching with my or put that near my face I don't know

what the what-for is but you're not addicted to your phone yeah me in order

to stay this way try not to send too many messages well alright then third

quiz are you self confident I've got to do three of these quizzes at least

because there's they're so short I've only been recording for four and a half

minutes and I've already gone through two quizzes alright do you know what's

important for you no but I'm trying to figure it out it's a bit of a vague

question how do you respond to failure I do sometimes get mad at myself but I

don't ever really go it wasn't my fault except for in joking I'm going to go

with this one because I don't well know maybe I should does whatever do you know

your strengths I know what I'm good at even if it's not always you need to do

it yes how do you respond to new situations I give up right after my

first failure often it's scared by curious but I'm more glad I get to

experience new things so maybe I'll go about do you take care of your body well

I guess I'll go with this one you are self confident yay I use self confident

congratulations you know your strengths and don't give up in difficulties

determinations what's my favorite color yellow red or I don't have one well

that's a little bit kind of rude there because my favorite color is actually

green like what the heck you have to put more choices in there your buddy

- how old are you 1 2 or 3 well apparently I am - because I'll say since

I'm 22 I'll go with - I'll go with taller than 170 because I have no clue

banana I'm tall and skinny okay well fun times properties addition and

multiplication properties quiz over yes please

hey there's also another quiz though what do you know about Jesus quiz let's

throw that one to question one of 10 select the answer and click to submit

okay so three plus five equals five plus three

associative property I have no term to look at me seven times one equals seven

Associated Press I have no clue what any of this means what does any of this mean

okay so we have in fact like this is all like very very similar sort of the same

thing this is actually kind of different because you do what's inside the

brackets first but technically everything is still plus plus plus plus

plus so it doesn't even matter I'm going to say communicative I have no clue 7

times 8 equals 8 times it yes identity it sure they're all property

yes please submit does that still ends up being 33 so I'm going to say

distributive property I have no code Nia this means you guys should be actually

looking at what these mean first ok I have looked it up and figured out to

what these things mean so associative means that you can add or multiply

regardless how the numbers are grouped communicative means that stuff is moved

around similar to how this is here 3 plus 5 equals 5 plus 3 so that is

communicative distributive is alpha T which is used to multiply single term

and two or more terms inside a set of parenthesis and identity for

multiplication tells us that number one x any x number gives a number itself ok

so this is that now seven times one equals seven so this is going to be

identity property and then we have the blue variable babbler i don't know see

this one here i think this one technically it's still going to be

communicative property because it's technically still anything but it also

is add or multiply regardless of how the numbers are grouped so I think it's

actually associative now this one here this is definitely going to be a

communicative obviously zero property because I mean zero associative property

maybe yes I think that's what that means this is one we didn't get to so 6 plus 7

plus 9 equals 6 plus 7 plus 9 so this is still technically the exact same thing

so it's sociated than 11 times 1 it was 11 as identity this is the exact same

thing so this is still going to be associative communicative so let's go

submit and let's see what I get it I got two wrong oh well to heck with you'll

find that we'll move on to the next one here

what do you know about Jesus who was ah ha ha ho let's see what this has the

following questions are based on the life of Christ some questions can only

be answered by reading the book come to me how many can get right who was cousin

of Jesus John the Baptist how old was Jesus when he began his

ministry I believe he was thirty I may be wrong about so many things how did

Jesus address his mother woman who denied Christ that was Judas Iscariot

from the book come to me what did Joseph make for Mary this ok this is why that

is so then this I do not know but I'm going to take a guess and I'm going to

say let's see here I'm I'm trying to think about it logically I haven't I

know nothing about what the book is or anything but I'm trying to think about

it logically let's see here I feel like it would be a meal of the

names below which one was not an apostle Cornelius who was at the foot of Jesus

cross I believe that was his mother from the book come to me what did you do

after John the Baptist was beheaded I don't know I I would I guess assumed

that Jesus would went away to pray how many times to Peter denied Jesus three

from the book come to me what was inscribed on Mary's bench oh well um let

me just one sec here let me go back to this and go a bench because that's

probably just gave away that question okay so what was inscribed on Mary's

bench little horror okay there we go submit that get them all right I got

seven times ten see you correct answers oh you have to sign up for that uh well

no thanks goodbye I guess that does it this had taken me to a completely

different site than what I was actually supposed to be on so that is going to be

probably it for this video so thank you so much for watching if you want to take

any of these quizzes for yourself you can go to well there's a link in the

description below that you can go to trivia - quizzes - tests dot com

#13 players linked with Chelsea – what are the chances of a deal? - Duration: 7:44.

13 players linked with Chelsea – what are the chances of a deal?

Chelsea look set to be among the busiest Premier League clubs as the transfer window enters its final week. Blues manager Antonio Conte has made no secret of his desire for new arrivals in order to bolster his squad.

'The club is trying its best in the transfer market to improve our squad but I must be happy,' he said at the weekend. With many players having been allowed to leave, they look short.

So what might happen between now and the close of the transfer window on August 31? Here, we take a look at those linked with the club and the chances of them moving to Stamford Bridge before next Thursday.

The Leicester striker has emerged as a surprise target for Chelsea with Conte desperate for more options up front. Right now the Italian tactician has just Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi to pick from in the central role.

When Arsenal came calling last summer Vardy stayed loyal to the Foxes, but could he refuse another chance to join one of the Premier League's elite sides?. Likelihood of a deal: 2 out of 5.

The young Italian has been ripping up Serie A with Torino, making links with a move away inevitable. He scored 26 goals in 35 league games last season – a fine return for a 23-year-old.

He has a £91million release clause which makes him a viable option if Chelsea are desperate enough. Likelihood of a deal: 2 out of 5.

If Chelsea really want a target man, then Benteke is an excellent choice.

But the goal return and overall contribution of the Crystal Palace striker doesn't appear to be of the level required for a Champions League team, making this look like a last resort. Likelihood of a deal: 1 out of 5.

Chelsea have been linked with the Swansea striker for some time, with Conte a fan having worked with the Spaniard at Juventus. He had a productive season last term, scoring 15 Premier League goals despite his 32-years-of-age.

Swansea manager Paul Clement has insisted he won't be sold and that's a position that is likely to have become even more entrenched following the recent departure of Gylfi Sigurdsson. Likelihood of a deal: 2 out of 5.

With a year remaining on his contract at Arsenal and reports that he is frustrated with his utility role, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been linked with an exit from the Emirates.

Chelsea is an obvious destination and the Gunners may be unable to resist a sensible offer. Liverpool and Man City are also keen. Likelihood of a deal: 3 out of 5.

Earlier in the summer Bayern Munch indicated Sanches could leave the club on loan. Talk has since calmed but a deal still looks possible for the 20-year-old, who failed to make an impact in Germany following a big-money move last summer.

Likelihood of a deal: 2 out of 5.

The Everton midfielder looks certain to leave Goodison Park this summer – it's just a question of where he goes.

He's got less than a year on his contract, has no intention of agreeing a new deal and the Toffees want to see a fee. Chelsea and Tottenham are the clubs most consistently linked with the England international.

Likelihood of a deal: 4 out of 5.

Conte is said to be a big fan of the Leicester midfielder and talks are understood to have been held between the clubs over his transfer. A £30million switch looks to be on the cards. Likelihood of a deal: 5 out of 5.

Another midfield options on Chelsea's radar is Candreva, a player Conte worked with during his time as Italy manager. Inter Milan are reportedly open to selling the 30-year-old, who tends to operate on the right, for around £30m.

Likelihood of a deal: 4 out of 5.

The loss of John Terry is huge but the signing of Van Dijk would go some way to replacing the centre-back.

The Southampton player is desperate to leave St Mary's, so much so he stopped training with the squad in pre-season. His club are entirely unhappy about sanctioning his departure and thus willing to hold out for a seriously large fee.

Likelihood of a deal: 3 out of 5.

An alternative option is Alderweireld, a deal which would send shockwaves through football in London. The Tottenham defender is said to be unhappy with his wages at White Hart Lane and is considering pushing for a move.

With Spurs on the verge of completing a deal for defender Davinson Sanchez, they could be prepared to let Alderweireld depart. Likelihood of a deal: 1 out of 5.

Conte wants competition for Victor Moses at right-back – and another option as he balances Champions League football with the Premier League. Southampton's Soares has been identified as a suitable addition with talk of a £15m switch.

With the player pictured in London this week, speculation has gone into overdrive. Likelihood of a deal: 4 out of 5.

Yet another Southampton player linked with Chelsea is Bertrand. Having left the Blues in 2015 it's reported they want him back.

It looks likely Chelsea will be doing business with Southampton over the next week but it appears unfathomable they will land all three targets. Likelihood of a deal: 2 out of 5.

Low Vision Part 1: What Is Low Vision? - Duration: 1:28.

[MUSIC]

Millions of Americans have low vision and cannot

correct their eyesight with regular glasses,

contact lenses, medicine, or surgery.

Low vision can result from a variety of

eye diseases and health conditions.

Age-related macular degeneration accounts for

almost 45 percent of all cases.

Many people with cataract, glaucoma, or

diabetic retinopathy also have low vision.

In the past, low vision was defined as vision 20/70 or less.

The definition now is vision loss not correctable with

standard glasses or contact lenses that

affects the person's functional abilities.

So, it's not about a number now,

it's about reduced vision that's affecting the quality of life of

the individual and their functional abilities.

To get a referral to a specialist in low vision,

you should really start with your regular eye care provider.

So, ask them who they would like to refer you to.

Ultimately, you have to get an evaluation, because

an evaluation is going to sort out what things are

going to help you to function better.

You're going to have a chance to actually try those devices.
