Ever wondered how Amazon FBA works?

Well, in this video I'll be telling you all about it and how you can build a legitimate

business selling on Amazon.

But before we start, make sure you subscribe to my channel and hit that bell to be notified

when I post a new video every week, so that way you can get the best advice on side hustles,

passive income, and so much more.

I wanted to start off by saying that this is part one of a five- or six-part video series

about selling on Amazon.

I'll be posting on Wednesdays, and I will also be posting on Fridays for the next few

weeks, so make sure to hit that bell to be notified if you want to know more about selling

on Amazon.

The first thing I want to tell you guys is that anyone can sell on Amazon, whether you

know about online business or have a business degree or don't have it, anyone can do it.

But that said, I knew nothing about selling on Amazon before I got started, and this was

actually my first online business.

Within the first two months of launching my product, I made over $16,000 in sales, so

yes, this is real, guys.

Before we get into it, I wanted to mention that I made a video about the pros and cons

of selling on Amazon.

I'll add that link somewhere around here, or you can click somewhere around the screen.

I really recommend that you guys go check it out, because I really go into detail about

the good stuff and the bad stuff and the things that I went through when I first started selling

on Amazon.

All right, now let's begin.

Let's first talk about what FBA means.

Let me start off by saying that there are various ways that you can sell within the

Amazon platform, but the most popular and profitable way selling on Amazon is with FBA.

Now, what does FBA mean?

FBA stands for Fulfillment by Amazon, and in basic terms, Amazon takes care of everything

for you.

They help you scale your business much faster, because they're reaching more customers through

Amazon Prime, which means that the customers will receive their products much faster.

They also store your products in their warehouses, ship it to the customers, track your sales,

deal with customer service 24/7.

I mean, everything.

So Amazon FBA is the way to go in my opinion, of course, because that's the one that I've

done.

I guess I'm biased.

Now let's talk about setting up Seller Central.

Now, they have two different types of accounts.

They have an individual account that you can set up for free, and then they have a professional

account, which is the one that I have, and I pay a monthly payment of 39.99.

This is where you're going to create your product listing, select the price for your

products, manage your inventory, track your sales.

I mean, basically it's your one-stop shop.

And most importantly, this is where you are going to get paid for your sales.

So comment below and tell me what type of niche or niche ... depending on where you

are, you'll understand that ... do you want to build a business around?

All right, now let's get back to it.

You've set up your Seller Central, and now it's time to search for your first product.

Basically, you can sell almost anything on Amazon, but you're going to do this specifically

through private labeling your product.

Now, what this means is that you're going to find a product that's already selling very

well, put your logo on it, and then call it your own.

With that said, you do want to differentiate your product, so whether it's adding an ebook,

adding a little item inside of the packaging, or maybe changing the feature a little bit,

you're going to want to do that, so that way yours can stand out from the rest.

Now, there are certain things to consider when choosing a profitable product, but you

can easily use apps like Jungle Scout, Helium 10, and Viral Launch, so that way you can

find a product that's not too competitive but high in demand.

These apps will also give you the monthly sales that these products are doing and so

many other goodies that you guys should look at before choosing your first product.

Now, with that said, you do not want to choose a product because you think it's cute or you

think may do well.

Doing product research is the most important part of building a successful online business

within the Amazon platform.

So make sure you do your product research and avoid guessing.

Okay, guys, let me know in the comments below if you have a particular product in mind that

you may consider selling.

All right, now that you've found your product, the next thing you're going to have to do

is find a supplier or manufacturer.

Alibaba.com is a popular website where you can find hundreds or even thousands of suppliers

that can produce your product for a reasonable price.

They're all rated, and you'll be able to pick the ones that have been pre-qualified by Alibaba

and have purchased what's called a trade assurance, which protects your investment in case the

supplier doesn't follow through with your order.

But anyway, you're going to want to contact the supplier to get quotes, and I recommend

that you choose the top three best suppliers on your list, so you can order your samples

from.

You're going to physically want to touch it, feel it, see it.

This is going to be very important, because you want to make sure that the quality of

the product is good.

The last thing you want to do is assume that the product is of good quality and then spend

hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars in a product that is just useless.

Once you've picked your supplier, you're going to sign a contracts, maybe put anywhere from

10 to 30% down, and then they're going to start making or producing your products.

Now, in order for them to make your product, it can take anywhere from a few weeks all

the way to a few months, so you want to make sure that you use your time wisely while you're

waiting.

But while they're doing that, you can focus on optimizing your product listing.

Now, when I say product listing, this is the page that the customers click on to see the

benefits, the features, the images, and pretty much everything that they need to know about

your product before they choose to buy it.

Okay, so now that your products are done and your product listing is optimized, now you

can go ahead and ship it to the Amazon Fulfillment Center.

Essentially, this is Amazon's warehouse, and this is where they're going to be shipping

your products from.

Every time that a customer orders your product, they're going to be in charge of packing it

and shipping it to them.

And just like I mentioned before, they're going to basically take care of your inventory,

so you as a seller, all you really have to worry about is making sure that you're producing

sales and providing great customer service on top of what Amazon already does for you.

So essentially, that's how Amazon FBA works.

Now, there are a lot of steps within everything that I spoke about that you guys should be

aware of, so I'll be making more videos.

Just please make sure to subscribe to my channel and hit that bell to be notified, so that

way you can get that information nice, fast, and easy.

Once again, I recommend that you guys go check out that video that I made about the pros

and cons of selling on Amazon.

It's really going to help you guys out.

If you guys want to know more about selling on Amazon, please make sure to join my exclusive

group called CLUB Fab & Focused, where you're going to meet like-minded people who are starting

their side hustle or business.

You'll get encouragement from me and your Fab Fam.

The link to join is in the description below.

If you liked this video, please let me know by liking it below, subscribing, and sharing

it with your friends.

Until next time.

You're doing everything you need to do to ... Okay, never have to physically see, touch,

nothing with your products.

Damn it.

What am I trying to say?

I know what I'm trying to say, but I can't say it.

Okay.

How Old Is the Universe? - Duration: 13:16.

What's up YouTube Chris Boyer here so real quick. I just wanted to talk just a little bit about

the supposed age of the universe

How old is the universe?

Well

modern

cosmology and

Astrophysics tells us that it's basically 13.8 billion years old

Now, is that true

The short answer to that is that I

Have no earthly idea. I have no clue

what the age of

the universe is

And you don't either because that 14 billion

Age figure is

only holds with with with certain assumptions that

Are unprovable, we just have to simply

Assume certain things in order for the theory to hold

Now with that said

That that doesn't mean that I'm a young earth creationist and I'll say this to the to the young earth creationist who

Honestly, I mean God bless you

But this is not an issue that we need to divide over

Just just period it's not and

Most Christians from from what I can see

Probably do hold to it to a young earth

view I go to a Baptist Church, and I probably would say that most

Of the congregation would also be young earth creationist

But I think that that is wrongheaded because I'm

Perfectly fine with saying I don't know now, why do people seem to think that they do know whether they're believers or unbelievers?

Well, as far as I can tell from the believer perspective is that

They take the Genesis one account in six

literal 24-hour periods and

they count up genealogies and

you know that sort of thing in the age of

the peoples in

those genealogies and they come up with some sort of figure between

Six

We'll say five to seven thousand years old or something like that and that's where they they come up with it there's a few

problems with that I think number one is

That we don't have an unbroken list of genealogies

Adam and Eve

and

then who did they have they had Cain and Abel and

Then who did they have? I think we're told

The only descendants of Adam and Eve from what I can tell is is Cain and Abel and Seth

So clearly Adam and Eve had

More children than that they lived to be

You know a thousand years old or whatever it was

And they had a lot of kids God said be fruitful and multiply so

But we're only told like two or three of the kids that they had

So

where's the rest of them they're just simply not there were only told the ones of

significance

obviously

So we don't have this unbroken

Genealogy

record

As far as the biblical text is concern and it doesn't mean that I'm trying to push an Old Earth

I'm simply trying to say that

The Bible isn't designed to tell us the age of the universe or the age of the earth

It's simply not it's not a science book

It's not a book on cosmology or astrophysics or science or any of that

The Bible was written

For one very specific purpose and that was to make us wise unto salvation and this is not a Salvation issue

It's not even an essential Christian doctrine

I've never went to any church and I would be concerned if I were to discover a church that said

You need to believe that the earth is

6,000 years old or something like that. I've never heard. I've never seen that listed

As an essential doctrine there's a core belief of any Christian denomination and if it were I would be concerned

Most certainly is not the case with with my congregation

So

The Bible just doesn't tell us it simply doesn't tell us I think John Lennox does a good job of of

Explaining this but there's actually four different

usages of the Hebrew word

young for Firday

There's one that

Alludes to less than a 24-hour period there's one that

alludes to a literal 24-hour period and there's obviously one that

Alludes to a period that's greater than 24 hours like for example the seventh day

God rested on the seventh day. So when did God start creating again?

What we're still in the seventh day

So if the seventh day is not to be taken literally then why should we take literal?

That is to say

24-hour periods for the other

Six days of creation that

Doesn't even

to address whether the word yawn can be used as a metaphor like

In the day of the Lord or my day at summoner Academy or or what. Have you

The Bible is not intended to tell us how old the universe is

It's not written to tell us how old the earth is much less the universe

The Bible was written to make us wise unto salvation

period we don't need

To believe in a young earth. We don't need to believe in an Old Earth. We don't need to believe in

Any of that if God wanted us to know?

How old the universe was?

You know, he could have he could have told us

Very easily, I think for example when when Christ was born he could say at the at the time of

Christ's birth

you know the earth was

Four thousand years old or whatever

Didn't do that

Because it's not important

It's

The only reason I say this to the now, I'm not picking on the young earth

creationists per se

Because I don't know how old the universe is. I really quite frankly. I don't even care to be honest

But this isn't an issue that we need to divide over

That because I know that there are some Christians devout Christians very intelligent Christians the would

You know hold the belief in an in an Old Earth and yeah, I'm not saying that I'm one of those persons

but

to say that they're not reading the Bible literally or

They're not really a Christian or they're not

Taking God's words serious or or what have you? I

think is

Is just just really just shameful it's

Unnecessary, this is not an essential issue. We don't need to divide over it

The bible does not tell us how old the universe is nor was it designed to do that?

We want to start reading things into the text

We start interpreting

The

The the six days as literal 24-hour periods

Then we want to look into the

genealogies and

Add up the ages of people and that sort of thing and act like we have some clue about how old the universe is

we don't and

Neither does the unbeliever quite frankly?

There was a time where

Scientists thought the universe was eternal

So who was close for the being right the Christian who said in the beginning God created

Referring to a finite beginning of the universe or the scientist who thought that the universe was eternal

Now they say it's

Fourteen thirteen point eight roughly fourteen billion years

Old

and

You know there they have that with a 99% certainty or something like that. Well then

tens of millions maybe hundreds of millions

Error

Well, what are they gonna do when they find a star that's I

Don't know ten trillion years old

they're

99% just turned into 0.1% The point is they don't know and

Neither do I?

And I really don't care and we shouldn't read the Bible as Christians

We shouldn't read try to read these types of things out of the text. I don't think the Bible

was written

Written to teach us science written to teach us cosmology

You know

Astrophysics or or any of that

So

We don't need to press it for for this this literal interpretation and

Think that we have some clue as to how old the universe is, I think that's the wrong thing to do and we most certainly

Should not be

Dividing over

this issue so

My answer is I have no earthly idea

How old the universe is and I really don't care and you know what?

Neither do you so?

Let's not make this especially on with as far as Christians are concerned

Let's not divide over this issue as far as the unbelievers are concerned

Please don't make this an issue of whether you can be a Christian or not

because this is a this is an in-house debate amongst Christians and

there are

All sorts of Christians who hold to an older earth I

Personally I

don't know I

Really don't care. I only know what God has revealed me revealed to me and

As far as I can tell in Scripture, he has not revealed it. So that's all I had for this one

I'll see you guys in the next one god bless

Employee Engagement - How to Motivate Employees - Duration: 10:04.

Hey Ambitious Professionals! It's Linda Raynier of lindaraynier.com guiding you

to a career and life you lis enjoy and today is another corner office insights

video where I share at leadership advice for those of you who are managers senior

managers directors or c-suite level executives to help you and your team's

improve their performance

as a career strategist I've had the honour of being able to help numerous

professionals land their dream job careers and if this is something that

you are interested in working with me one-on-one I can give you details about

that at the end of this video and today we're going to talk about employee

engagement and I'm going to share with you my key strategy that you need to

implement if you really want to engage your employees and have them be more

motivated work harder and drive success in your company now before we talk about

employee engagement I want to explain a cold hard truth that you need to

understand first and that is in order to have engaged employees you need to be an

engaged manager first there's a concept that I'd like to tell people about and

it's what I call the world is your mirror and it's really that the world is

your mirror whatever is reflecting back to you from your external world is do

the result of something that's going on within you so if you are finding that

your employees are not engaged in on your team in your company then it has

something to do with a lack of potential engagement from within yourself so if

you were to be honest with yourself can you truly say that you are fully engaged

as a manager every day 100% of the time I mean I'm sure that you can find that

there would be hints here and there of lack of engagement within yourself and

so if that's the case it should be no surprise that there's lack of engagement

in your employees as well so today I'm going to help you and your employees and

I'm going to show you three signs to know what employee engagement actually

looks like and the step-by-step solution to implement if it's not their sign

number one they work hard every day with pure intention and passion to get their

work done well and to have strong results you know that an employee is

engaged when you can visibly see it when you can see that they're working hard

every day when they come into the office they have that pure passion and

intention to do well to deliver high quality work and to achieve strong

results now there's a difference between looking as though the

work hard versus actually working hard the results speak for themselves and so

if you're able to see the hard work and also see the results of it then you know

that that means that the employee is doing their job they're doing it well

and they have an intention to do it well sign number two of an engaged employee

they're always improving something they have the mindset I want to make things

better more efficient more productive and they don't just sit there and talk

about it you see them actually going out there and doing it they're making

improvements they've made efficiencies happen they've suggested recommendations

that have been taken into account in that people have been able to use and

benefit from that shows an engaged employee when they're always improving

and looking to make improvements ensign number three of an engaged

employee they are helpful and knowledgeable the employees who are

helpful and who have created a brand for themselves to be seen as the go-to

advisors the knowledge champions the experts in their role and are willing

and able to help others and provide others with information that they need

they are also truly engaged in their job because they wouldn't put themselves in

that situation if they didn't have the desire to be able to share their

knowledge and help others they know that others rely and depend on them and

they're happy to be there so now I have to turn the table back on to you are you

an engaged employee yourself as a manager do you exhibit these three

traits daily and if you are truly honest with yourself and you find that you

aren't demonstrating these things on a regular basis then you have to start to

understand why that is because you can't expect to have engaged employees if you

yourself are not engaged because here's another truth the only way that your

employees are going to feel truly motivated the way that you want them to

be is if you demonstrate that energy first it's interesting how people don't

realize that as managers you have a lot of influence over your employees the way

you are the way you feel the way that you present yourself is going to have an

impact on your direct reports and they're either going to feel good and

also be motivated or they're not so if you find that

either you're not engaged or your employees are not engaged or both this

is how you would reengage a disengaged employee before we talk about what to do

let's talk about what not to do do not scare your employees into working harder

by threatening them with the idea that they'll lose their job they're acting

this way not because they decided to entirely you as their manager play a big

role in their behavior and if you don't take ownership for that you need to

start to because a truly influential leader understands the impact that they

have on the people who they influence so don't try to impose your power over them

by scaring them and telling them that they need to get back into shape or else

that's poor management style if you think that the only way to motivate your

unmotivated employees is to scare them through fear then you don't really fully

understand your role as a manager so let's say that I'm being overly

presumptuous and I'm saying that you're not engaged yourself let's just say that

you are very engaged and that you really want to motivate your team but you've

gotten to a point where there's one or two individuals who are completely

disengaged and you want to re-engage them because they are good employees

they have done good work in the past and you want to remote of eight them and

bring them back bring them back to the level that they were at what do you do

then the answer is to figure out the source reason to understand the root of

their disengagement so what does that mean it means sit down with your

employee give yourselves both sacred time and space to be together one-on-one

so that they can open up and explain / discuss their issues and in this

discussion as the manager there are three things that you want to tell them

tell them in a genuine way that you have their best interests in mind when it

comes to helping them to grow as an employee in the organization a lot of

the time when we tell someone that we have their best interest in mind they

may actually ignore that and they may not want to hear it but when you support

it with the next two things it's going to be more convincing

the second thing that you want to tell them is how much you recognize their

value and again you want to be genuine about this so bring up specific

instances specific accomplishments that they were able to achieve throughout the

time that they worked with you and how much you appreciated it and how much

that they were able to make a contribution to the company and then

finally you'll end it off by telling them that in order to help them to truly

get back on track you want to fully understand what it is that's getting in

their way and what's causing them to feel the way that they're feeling these

days so once they tell you their reasons as to why they're feeling this way why

they're feeling disengaged and they actually open up that is when you can

start to come up with a plan together to implement new solutions that will

mitigate what it is that they're feeling an employee can become disengaged in a

multitude of ways perhaps they feel that they do deserve a step up in their

career but you haven't been offering them opportunities for advancement

perhaps they feel as though they're not being heard they may have said things in

the past to you that have indicated certain requests and you just completely

ignored and never took them up on it never considered them there's so many

reasons why an employee can be disengaged if you were truly an engaged

manager though you wouldn't this wouldn't be a surprise to you you would

have seen it right away as soon as it started happening and you can catch it

before it becomes a situation where you're having to go through this whole

discussion and trying to get them back on track instead you want to be an

engaged manager by really connecting with your employees listening to what it

is that they're asking for paying attention and then being able to work

together collaborate and offer solutions that are going to not only help to

engage them continue to maintain their engagement but help you as a manager to

have a happy productive team so there you have it my key strategies on how to

increase employee engagement within yourself and within your team now if

EDEN Vlog #02 - How a small plant is having a huge impact - Duration: 8:49.

I love this. This is just so cool.

These root systems are amazing.

Bonk

Hey everyone and welcome back to Eden's vlog.

Our purpose of the vlogs is to share with you the adventures

of how we go about planting trees and saving lives

Today we're going to look at mangroves, not mangoes

Mangroves are very unique species group of trees that represent only about 1%

actually less than 1% of the world's forests.

But their impact is far more than 1%.

Eden is working in Madagascar Mozambique and Indonesia with mangroves

and today we're actually going to go to the work in Indonesia

and fully explore what it looks like

When you're dealing with mangroves the first challenge is just arriving.

You jump in a leaky old boat.

You take your your boat ride to the edge.

And then you begin to slog through mud,

and the mud is thick.

It can go up to your ankles your knees your waist, and sometimes you literally have to be pulled out.

There's been a couple of times when I've had to be pulled out with a rope

And it's not just me because I'm a chubby little guy.

It is just dangerous and so our mangrove workers,

They have to work in teams because if you get stuck in the mud literally

You have to be pulled out before the tide comes back in or you will drown

Neighbors, here we are on Biack island Indonesia

standing in one incredible ecosystem,

the mangroves of Indonesia.

This is not Jessica Alba, this is Sonaradia Alba.

Also, here are the rhizophora.

Okay, stop I mispronounced the name of the mangrove species.

This is Sonaradia Alba.

In my defense, there are so many mangrove species in Indonesia.

It's the highest diversity of mangroves on the planet.

I'm trying to pick up on this.

These mangroves develop these incredible root systems that allow

juvenile fish, juvenile shrimp, all kinds of breeding ocean life

to hide in there and to escape predation.

So they're essential to the well-being of the ocean that's behind us.

But also in here is a lot of of sea grass

that's just all over the place. There's wonderful seagrass

and all of this provides habitat for crabs and shrimp and baby fish

that are essential to the health of the ocean.

Also, this is the most carbon absorbent natural system on the planet.

Massive amounts of carbon are sequestered in that in the sand and the mud

of these wonderful mangrove systems.

So it's really fun.

Part of the early on process is evaluating

what can be accomplished at a specific mangrove site,

and you can't achieve that just from a satellite image or a flyover

or even a boat drive by.

You have to go in and see what species are there,

the condition of literally the mud.

All of these factors along with

evaluating the various zones and the various species that need to specifically be planted correctly

are essential to the health and future of the project

So during the course of my lifetime,

roughly 60 years, about 40% of the world's mangroves have been cut down.

Primarily to establish shrimp farms.

So if you love shrimp, you got to consider

you might be contributing to the demise of mangroves.

It's also the poor man's lumber.

It grows in salt water so it's very hard salty wood.

Termites don't eat it.

So at last a long time it becomes the poor man's lumber

for their houses, their fences,

their basic building material for so many things.

So if things don't change the percentage of

mangrove forest in the world is going to continue to go down down down.

Eventually you begin to

decimate the reef systems of the world and the open oceans.

Sustainable fisheries become less and less productive

and impoverished people are going to be the first and hardest hit.

So when I go into a new area like Indonesia or new area like Mozambique and

and see an estuary that's been virtually totally denuded

I'm taken back to what our work in Madagascar looked like,

twelve years ago and what it looks like now.

I know that I know that I know

you can go from

an obliterated denuded nothing but mud estuary

to a beautiful thriving mangrove ecosystem

in less than a decade.

And it's absolutely astronomical.

It's not just hope it's real.

So to launch actual mangrove planting efforts,

is fairly straightforward.

You start by clearing the estuary of all the deforestation debris.

So they don't knock over the young trees.

And they collect massive numbers of propagules in

gunnysacks they bring them back to the village.

They count and sort them by species.

They can head out at low tides and begin to hit the mud and plant the trees.

These folks are already in a place where they're planting

6,000 trees each

and that cumulative effect of

40 to 50 workers per month

Just begins to crank out whole forest and relatively short amount of time.

And I know that I know that I know

that in 10 years,

That's going to turn into a forest and

a beautiful mature mangrove system will be restored.

So thank you again for watching

if you haven't already done, so please subscribe and share with your friends.

At this point we're gonna move out of the mud and focus on mangroves,

to an area that I'm passionate about

the ocean, the coral reef systems,

and Scuba diving!

So let's jump overboard!

How to Use Dubsado Custom Mapped Fields - Duration: 6:34.

Dubsado's custom mapped fields what are

they how do you set them up and how do

you use them in your business that's

what we're covering in today's video

hello there and this is the Productive Co.

YouTube channel this is the YouTube

channel talking about all things Dubsado

in today's video we're going over

custom mapped fields now before we get

started this video is part of the Dubsado

Blueprint a free 9 step download to

help you get your Dubsado set up

quickly I'll make sure to link that down

below so you can access it at any time

after you download the Dubsado

Blueprint make sure you subscribe to

this YouTube channel so you can get more

videos on how to use Dubsado in your

business without further ado let's dive

into custom mapped fields so before I jump

into custom mapped fields I first want to

explain what mapped fields are so Dubsado

has a feature that they call

question mapping and what that does is

it takes answers from questions and maps

them to a different location and Dubsado

maps those answers to the client folder

and the address book now I'm in my

template section under forms and I'm

going to click on a lead capture I'm

going to collect certain information

here their first name their last name

their email and if I don't set up

mapping what will happen is this

information will just live inside of a

form it won't add their name to the

address book there I have to tell the

name where to go so I do that with

question mapping so you can either use a

short answer or date select to do this

and I've got my first name here and I'll

click open this question and I'm going

to tell Dubsado to map the first name

to the first name in the address book so

I can click this drop down here and I

can select where I want it to

- now if there's something you want to

collect

but isn't on this list here of fields

you can map for example YouTube isn't a

question here I want that information in

my clients address book I don't want to

have to dig through all the different

forms that they have to find where they

told me their YouTube channel was so

what I'm going to do is create a custom

mapped field you'll go into the settings

tab which is the cogwheel on the upper

right you will go to custom mapped fields

it's toward the bottom there are two

types of custom mapped fields you can

create here and absorbs you a little

explanation of the types of mapped fields

you can create so if you choose a client

mapped field these are directly in the

clients profile they will follow the

client on any project they are assigned

to the other option is job job custom

mapped fields are tied only to the job

profile and will not follow the client

to any other jobs so let me explain that

to you inside of your projects tab you

have clients and those clients have

different projects you're working on or

jobs that you're working on now you

could potentially have the same client

come back to you for multiple jobs so

they could come to you in 2018 come back

to you in 2019 you can choose whether or

not you want this mapped field to follow

them or not follow them based on if you

choose client or job in this scenario I

want to know their YouTube channel for

any time they contact me so I'm going to

make that a client custom mapped field so I

will just hit create and I'm gonna give

it a name I'm gonna call it YouTube and

then I have the option to choose if the

kind of question I ask will be a short

answer or a date and obviously this is

going to be a short answer

then I'll hit save and then I'll go back

into my lead capture in this case add

the field so make sure you create the

custom mapped field first and then go

create it on the form so I'm going to

put the short answer because that's what

I selected and that goes to the bottom

here okay so I asked the question what's

your YouTube channel and now I need to

map my answer so that it pulls from the

form and puts it in the address book

now remember I could create a custom mapped

field for a job or a client so I'm gonna

find YouTube under the client because

that's where I created it and at the

very bottom here I have YouTube when a

person fills out the lead capture on my

website it's going to ask them that

question and then pull that information

to their job folder and the address

book so let me just show you where it's

gonna go it will go in utilities under

address book and it will go under the

person's name if you click on their name

here you can see all their contacts

details it will also go inside of

projects so that person will end up in

leads if they fill out my lead capture

and I'll just click on their name and

when they answer that question the field

right here will house their answer I can

see at a glance what their YouTube

channel is otherwise I would have to go

into forms and dig through all these

different forms here open them up and

find where they put their YouTube

channel so that's the beauty of question

mapping and custom mapped fields and

that's how you set up custom map fields

if you found this video helpful make

sure you give it a thumbs up and leave

any comments you have down below so I

can make sure to clarify things for you

my name is Rae thank you for stopping by

my YouTube channel today I'll see you

around

How To Grow Bulbs In Containers | Lasagne Method - Duration: 12:30.

you wouldn't think on a day like today that's nice and bright that we'd be

thinking that far ahead to spring but now is the time we need to concentrate

on spring and the reason for that is because spring is quite a dark time and

there's not a lot of color in the garden but if we do a little bit of thought now

we can bring color into the garden and we can do that with spring bulbs and

that's what I'm going to be showing you in this episode I'm Tony O'Neill this is

UK Here We Grow on this channel we deal with all things gardening poultry

keeping and beekeeping if it's your first time here, consider hitting that

subscribe button and Bell icon to be notified each time we put out new content

just like this so as I've said spring is typically quite a dark dull time there's

not a lot of color in the garden and with that in mind I've actually planted

all of this area that has the figs the goji berries and a couple of the small

trees strawberries and things like that we've absolutely plastered this with

about three or four hundred bulbs so they'll come through the ground in early

spring and we'll have a succession so really from maybe mid-february right the

way through to May there should be some color here and then the figs will start

to come into leaf and things like that so the idea is is to get something in

the ground early to give you that color so that the summer stuff can come

through and you've got a little bit of color there to go all the way through so

another way that we can get some color in the garden is to plant these bulbs

into containers it's a great way of doing that now I'd like to show you how

we go about it. now when you plant in a pot if we were to put a few of these

daffodil bulbs in a pot in early sort of February or March we'd have some nice

color from the daffodils you'd have a nice yellow daffodil job done and then

bunch of colors but any days back and you just end up with all the foliage and

it's not a lot of color in it so what we want to do

is look at building what's known as a layer or lasagna and I have an example

here that they have done to show you so first off we have some tulips then above

those we have some daffodils then we have some Narcissi then we have some

Leucojum and then on top we have some crocuses so we have five layers and

these bulbs all flow at at different times so we'll have a continuous supply

of flowers coming through from early February right away through to probably

mid to late May so and that makes the most up to that container and then in

late May we can plant that up with something else so we're gonna get now

and plant one of these containers in this sort of configuration using the

bulbs that we have on the desk there and I'm gonna take you through that one step

at a time as you can see I have a nice big terra cotta pot this is really big

and in the bottom of it we have a nice hole now if you didn't have a pot with a

hole in then you would need to be using bulb planting compost like we did in the

hyacinth video and I'll put a link up here for that video but because we have

a hole in this we can use normal multi-purpose compost because we have

the drainage what we need to do though is to use some crocks and we need to

block over the hole to stop the soil from clogging it

something like that and then we want to put just I might even break that one

down just a bit of a curve on it not use it there we go

that's more like it something like that okay

so what we need to do now is put a thin layer of compost and like I said I'm

just using a multi-purpose compost here and we're only going to put a thin layer in

here something like that now our very first bulb as we already spoke about is

tulips and I have a mix of colors here I'm going to put all the names for all

of the bulbs in the description guys so if you want to know what ones we're

using go down we got it for our tulips we have a mix of three different

varieties and then all a dark color Purple's a dark sort of brunette color

there's all sorts of colors here now when you're planting these ideally they

don't want to be touching each other and they don't want to be touching the

side of the tub either guys okay so nestle them down and you want it like I

said this is a really big tub but you want to get him in there guys because

the more you've got the better display your going to have

and this is our very first layer one more in here

there we go so we've got our first layer of tulips we then need to put on a layer

of soil on top or compost on top of these now we don't need to add any extra

feed because the bulbs are already carrying everything they need our next

thing are our large daffodils and again we need to put these not touching

anything and don't worry about the layer below because they will find their own

way through they will Bend around

any that are a bit soft throw them out, don't use them guys they will just rot okay

there we go so again there's our next layer again we no need to cover these

over with some compost and this is all it is to it we are building up the

layers okay and this is going to give us continual growth right throughout the

season the next we're going to use of these narcissus and we are going to put

a nice layer of these in also

there we are and to our next layer

okay so we got our next bulb now and we want to settle these in because they are

long and they've already started to sprout so we really need to get them in

and I don't want to be getting too far up the bulb at the pot because I've got

other stuff that I want to put in here which we will talk about in a moment

there we are some more soil in there now

so that's our fourth layer we'll now put our fifth layer in here guys

which are these crocuses and again it's just a case of sticking them in anywhere

just like that I think I'll put one more here There we go so there's our last layer as far as

those go so all we need to do now is top off the pot but we haven't quite finished

yet because it's all well and good having these pots sat there now waiting for

spring but they're not very pretty at the moment okay so that'll do us for the

moment we'll top it up again in a minute

so what I have here now are three primroses and I'm literally just gonna

plant these in the top here like this and there you're gonna fill out this pot

now throughout the next couple of months so all we need to do for that is a

put a little hole here bed them in and put some compost along and we'll top these up in

a moment and these will just provide us with a little bit of color for now so

that the pot doesn't look so bare

and then once they die back these can be taken out ready for all the bulbs to

come through

and there you have it guys there is one spring bulb lasagna pot like I said it's

a large pot all we need to do now is give this a little drink it will be

golden so just flatten this down now around the

edges just so that it can hold the water so there we have a guys one large

terracotta pot all planted up in a lasagne method for bulbs

I do have an article on our website and the link will be in the description for

that on this as well because we do this every single year I just never made a

video about it I hope this video has been of interest for you how many of you

plant bulbs in the spring and do you plant them in tubs or in the ground let

me know down in the comments below I'd be really interested in to know what

varieties you're actually growing as well this spring so put all your

comments down there and any tips you have for anybody else I'm Tony O'Neill

this is UK Here We Grow and remember folks You Reap What You Sow I will see you in the

next one bye-bye

How To Create Highlights On Instagram - Duration: 9:15.

Hey welcome back to the Six Figure Mastermind. Today we're talking about

Instagram again. It's one of my favorite topics. And how to use highlights in

Instagram for your business. Stay tuned.

So, if you're on Instagram, you may have seen this new feature called highlights.

Highlights are a section of Instagram that really encapsulated your stories

into these little different categories. And you can actually use them to promote

your business. Now, remember, first things first. If you're using Instagram for

business get an Instagram business account. You absolutely have to have that

carte blanche. Okay? You're going to be able to track your analytics and do so much

more because you have an Instagram business account, okay? You want to see

what's working for you. So, right now I'm going to walk you through how Instagram

highlights are working for you and how they're working for your business, okay?

So, first things first, you're going to go to your phone. You're going to open up

Instagram. And you're going to go to your page. Now, I'm going to show you what it

looks like to have Instagram highlights on and to have Instagram highlights off.

Now, in my account on Instagram that doesn't have any highlights... Now, this is

a personal account. It has room for highlights but I haven't put anything in

there. So, this is what you're going to see. It says story highlights, keep your

favorite stories on your profile. Okay? Now remember that profiles stories only

last 24 hours. But highlights stick around forever. I mean, until you take

them off, they're there. So, imagine all of the different applications for this. You

can use highlights to show off your favorite products. You can use highlights

to share testimonials. You can use highlights to give tips and tricks. You

can use highlights for quizzes and polls. I mean there are different ways to get

highlights and to get interactions from those highlights. But this is a really

cool way to get real. Highlights can tell people that you're actually using your

Instagram on a consistent basis because it's full of stories. And stories mean,

"Hey I'm using Instagram right now." So, this is what you're going to see. This

highlight section. Now, let me walk you through my Instagram that actually has a

highlight section. Again, this is my Instagram that... This is my experimental

Instagram that I get to do all my cool fun stuff before I bring it to you guys,

okay? So, this Instagram has several highlights that I have put together. So,

this is my travel blog so I'm saying, "Okay, I want to do a highlight for each

region of the world that I have visited." So, I put all of these together and I

said, "Look, cool here's a Vietnam highlight. Here's a Thailand

highlight, here's a Cambodia highlight, here's a Utah highlight." That's what I

call home. So, if I click on that highlight, I'm going to see all of the

Instagram stories that I put in that highlight as part of that story or as

part of that little group that I've put together, okay? Now, let me show you some

other Instagram profiles that are actually using this tool very, very well.

One of my favorite people to follow on Instagram is the bucket list family. The

bucket list family, you've probably heard of them, they're a traveling family that

travels the world together. Now, they have used highlights on their account and

they've taken these these little circles and put little icons in them that are

their brand, okay? So, FAQ, this is perfect. Frequently

Asked Questions and hopefully our helpful answers. So, this is a highlight

section that they put together as a compilation of stories that they've

already published. How did you get started?

Answer: It all started with an idea in a list. Now, if your Instagram is popular

enough, you can actually have this option to swipe up and see more. This will

redirect you to whatever the channel owner or the Instagram owner has, you

know, redirected you to. He can have it redirect to a YouTube channel where

you're going to watch the full clip. You can have a redirect or a landing page. But

your Instagram has to be pretty substantial in order to do that. Not

everyone's Instagram will have that option to swipe up, okay? So, they have

another one with gifts, okay? Gifts from them to you. You have... They

have another Favorites, Shop, Videos, Itinerary.

Now, imagine if you're in business for yourself and you've got a product line

to sell, you can use those highlights to demonstrate your product line. If it's a

demonstra... Demonstrable? Demonstratable? Demonstrable item? Okay, let's say you're

in the cosmetics industry. You have a highlight for lipsticks. You can show all

the applications and different colors of lipsticks. You have an highlight for

blushes and you have a highlight for cosmetics. Maybe you were in the dog

kennel business, okay? You can say different activities that you do with the dog.

Different people, their clients you know, FAQ, that's a great place for all of that.

Essentially, highlights are kind of a way that Instagram has let us use Instagram

as sort of a website with a drop-down menu. Where you can use them

anything that you want. Here's what you need to remember though. The stories

aren't going to be very long. The stories within the highlight, you have a limited

amount of time. You also don't have volume on those. So, anything that you

want your plant to understand is either going to be need to be... Anything that you

want your client to understand is going to need to be conveyed through text over

the highlight or just within the video itself that you can demonstrate. They

won't have any sound, alright? So, remember those things. Now, that I've kind of shown

you what highlights can be used for, let me just walk you through actually how to

create one on your own. First thing you need to do is actually post some stories

to your timeline. And I'm going to do a whole separate video on how to do that.

But let's assume you have some stories already in your queue, whether they're

expired or not, doesn't matter. You can still use them. So, first things first. You

need to go to your account and click on New. This is going to bring up all of

your highlights. Now, for me, I like to have these little icons in my highlights.

So I need to create a new icon. So, I'm going to go over to another app that I

love to use called Word Swag. And there's plenty of different apps that allow you

to create these little memes and things like this. I use the Word Swag to

create mine. Let's see. So this is Word Swag and you can do so many things with

it. You can use your own photos, you can use their stock photos. I use this to

create my highlight thumbnails. I'm going to go to my library and look up the photos

that I want to use for my Word Swag app. Now, I've got this photo right here that

I use for all of my highlights. I'm going to go to next. I'm going to use the font that I

always use and now I'm going to change the font to say "Hollywood". Say, done. I'm going

to change the color to black. So that we can see it. I'm going to move it into the

right position, size it the way I want it. This is such a simple easy process, you

guys. This used to be so difficult, used to have to like have a degree in design

to get these things. Now, I like my words to be underlined. Okay, now I've got it,

it's done. So, I'm going to click Save. It's going to save it to my camera roll. Now,

I'm going to go all the way back to Instagram. And now, look at this, if I were

to go to my highlights, I need to add a new story in, alright? Because I don't

have this little highlight in my stories yet. Remember you

only put things in your highlights that are already in your story. So, I'm going to

go home, swipe right and that's going to allow me to

add something to my story. So, if I do that and I go all the way back up to

that brand new image I made, there it is, boom!

Alright? Size it to fit, make sure it has the same filter that I have on all

of my other highlights and say, add to story. Boom. Them that's done. Now, I can go

back and click new, alright? Now, I should be able to find my Hollywood and

my Hollywood story to add in there. I'm going to click Next. And now I can go... You

can go through your stories and check everything that's relevant to that

highlight. I know that that's the only one I've added. That's, oh... There's

another one. That and now I didn't know that was the only one. They're both in

there. Okay, so I've added all of my Hollywood stories. Put them together and

I'm going to say Next. Edit cover. Remember, I just designed that cover. I want to make

sure the right ones on there. So, I'm going to scroll over, make sure it's in the

light little spot there. Click done and I'm going to type in the word "Hollywood".

Click Add and boom. There it is. Now, I've got my Hollywood. I've got all the

stories that are relevant to it. It's all right there. And I can go back and delete

these if I want. Looks like I have a duplicate in there. That's totally cool. I

can go back and delete that. In fact, why don't I do that right now, so you can

kind of see what that looks like. I'm going to take this one out because I

already have a duplicate of that, that I like better. Click done and now I have my

Hollywood. It's all done. My highlights are all updated, okay? I haven't found a

limit on the highlights yet. You may find one if you, you know, do enough of them.

But I haven't found it yet. And you can do any highlights for anything that you

want. Very simple walk-through with the only thing to remember is that it has to

be part of your story before you can put it in your highlights. it'll stay on your

story for 24 hours, it's going to stay in your highlights indefinitely. Hey, thanks

for watching today. I'm curious about what your highlights are going to be. Tag me

in Instagram. I want to see what you're doing.

Also, if you want to work directly with me and see what that looks like in

growing six-figure business, click on the link

below and let's chat. See you tomorrow.

How to Install Cygwin on Windows and How to Install EDirect - Duration: 6:26.

This tutorial shows you how to install Cygwin on your Windows computer so that you have

the Unix-like terminal window that you need to use NCBI's EDirect programs.

I'll also demonstrate the very simple EDirect installation.

Let's get directly to the Cygwin installation on a Windows 7 system.

At cygwin.com you will find the Install Cygwin page, which is where I am now.

Simply click on this link, setup-x86_64.exe, unless you happen to have an older, 32-bit

machine.

What happens after clicking on setup varies depending on the browser you are using, so

follow your screen prompts to run that program or executable.

Some of the decisions you will have to make during installation include,

- Download Source: choose Install from internet - Root Install Directory: \Desktop\Cygwin

is a good choice, and you might want to install for Just me, if you do not have Administrative

privileges - Local Package Directory: \Downloads is often

the default and that is fine - Select Your Internet Connection: Direct

Connection is a good choice - Choose a Download Site: the first one in

the list is fine.

After a brief download, which hasn't installed anything yet, this Select Packages menu appears.

The EDirect programs are a set of Perl scripts, so you need to add the Cygwin Perl package,

even if your Windows machine already has Perl installed.

First, be sure that Category is selected in the View menu, then type perl in the searh

box, and click on the circular arrows next to Perl in the list, and the word Default

will change to Install.

EDirect installation also requires the Zip program, search for unzip, expand Archive

and click next to Skip.

This will change to the version number of the Zip utility that will be installed.

And you may want to install a text editor.

If you are new to command line programs, nano is an easy one to get started with.

I won't demonstrate that, but note that you can come back any time and re-run the setup-x86_64.exe

program to add any additional programs or update the ones you have installed.

No need to uninstall anything.

Okay, after clicking Next, you see this list of changes, so click Next again to begin the

download and installation of Cygwin and the other packages.

This often takes several minutes, after which you may see some Post install script errors,

but in my experience, those can be ignored.

Click Next one last time, and you can now Finish.

If you already know how to install EDirect, you can skip the rest of this video.

If not, let's use our new Cygwin terminal to that.

First open the terminal window, in my case I'll double-click on my desktop icon.

Now I'll go to the EDirect documentation page at NCBI.

Just search for NCBI Edirect in your browser and you'll get to this page in our Books database.

This is a big and immensely helpful document if you want to take full advantage of EDirect's

capabilities.

For now I'll just scroll down to the Installation section and copy this text.

Back to my cygwin terminal, paste that in, hit Enter, and away it goes.

You should quickly get to this setup.sh shell script.

Hit Enter again to run that script, and it will stop on this message about "Trying to

establish local installations of any missing Perl modules..."

It may sit there for a minute or so.

In the rare case that message is still there after 3 or 4 minutes it is probably not going

to finish on it's own, so go ahead and stop the script with the keystroke CTRL-c and move

on.

Lets' check to see if the EDirect programs are working.

One way to do that is to type a program name and ask for the version number.

I'll do that by typing, esearch -version.

And, I get a command not found error.

This happens now and then if the installation did not add the location of the edirect folder

to your path.

It is very convenient to have that so that you can run the edirect programs from whatever

directory you happen to be in.

To correct that, I'll use the the nano text editor to open up the file called, .bash_profile.

Scrolling to the bottom of that file I see a PATH defined for cygwin, but not for edirect

-- you'll have to take my word for that since the full line is not displaying here.

One way to add a new path is to add another line, so I'll paste in, export PATH=$PATH:$HOME/edirect.

All right let's test again, but you will first want to log out of the terminal simply by

typing logout, or exit.

That allows the changes made in .bash_profile to take effect when you start the terminal

again.

So I've logged out and have opened the terminal again, and now I'll type, esearch -version,

and we see not only that I've got version 8.6.0, but this also means that the EDirect

programs are properly installed.

You very likely have a newer version, because EDirect gets updated fairly often -- check

the end of the EDirect documentation to see how to get on an email list that will notify

you of updates and other topics.

Another way to check the installation is to type the program name and dash help.

I'll type efetch -help | more, just so the documentation doesn't scroll all the way to

the bottom.

This is a quick way to see command line options without having to go to the documentation

on the web.

Hitting the space bar moves you through the text.

Okay, all seems well, but what the heck, let's run a real efetch command just to show you

how easy it is to use.

This command retrieves a protein record in FASTA format and sends that to a file called

np.faa, or whatever name you give it.

All I need is the accession number from the NCBI Protein database.

I'll use NP_000302 dot 1 so the command is,

efetch -db protein -id np_000302.1 -format fasta > np.faa

and there is the FASTA record.

And that's it.

You're now ready to run EDirect on your Windows machine.
