Hey guys Victor Potter is here and welcome back to my channel. I wanted to do a quick video on

A video that I saw not too long ago and that really hit a chord with me

And I'll give credit to the the video makers names damn lock super businessman super affiliate guy

wealthy knows what he's talking about

so

I wanted to kind of do my version of the video because I really think don't we all need to hear this and this is

my

Honest opinion his video was called do what you love and the money will follow

And his response to that was that's bullshit. Okay, and I agree with him a hundred percent

because

You know, that's not what business is about

You know, they give you an example I go to work every day. I still have a career outside of my affiliate marketing business

I go to work every day

okay, and

It's not what I love to do

I don't love waking up at 5:30 or 6:00 o'clock in the morning getting dressed and going to an employer

That I've been going to for the last 20 or 25 years

To make a paycheck

I don't love that. I do what it takes to take care of my family

I do what it takes to earn my income. Okay, so that there's a difference there. Okay. Another example would be

Let's say somebody's trying to lose weight

Okay, so if that somebody goes to the gym everyday and works out and lifts those weights and sweats

Do you think that person loves it? I don't think so. I think they love the results and I think they're doing what it takes

To lose weight, you know, they see that that that slice of pizza or that hamburger that they really want to eat

Do they want do they the love not having to to?

fulfill that that want of eating that food

Absolutely not. They do not love that

But they don't do it because they're willing to do what it takes and I think we need to have that same philosophy in business

Okay, and it's important that you if you love what you do? That's just gonna help you in your business. That's that's great

That's awesome for you

then that just means you're gonna work harder and you're gonna want to improve

Because you're really passionate about it. Okay, but you don't have to love

everything about

affiliate marketing or love everything about

digital marketing or online business

Okay, you don't have to love the process of building sales funnels or the process of creating?

Autoresponder emails and follow-up emails. You don't have to love that

You have to do it because that's what it takes

and that's the difference and I really agree with Dan Locke in his and his philosophy on this whole subject because

You know and I love the idea of freedom and time and passion. I love the idea of that

Do I love the idea of sitting in front of a computer all day?

Building a sales funnel and creating my business

So that I can enjoy that idea of time passion and freedom not necessarily

But I'm doing what it takes and don't get me wrong. I

Love the affiliate marketing business and I love what it can bring to me and the freedom it can offer me

for myself

And my family I love that I love that part of it, but there's always going to be certain parts of what you're doing

No matter what whether you're trying to lose weight whether you're going to your 9 to 5

Okay, you know whether you know your your your planning, you know a long trip

You're gonna love that trip once you get there

but the

Pack the packing and the luggage and the airports and the customs all those things you don't love but you're doing what it takes

So you can get to your destination and that's really what the point of this video is

Okay, you got to do what it takes so that you can get to your destination

Your destination my destination is to be a success online

so you can't give up because you don't like the

process of having to do certain things to get to that Destin

Okay, so that's just part of what we are

Having to do that we're doing what it takes so that we can ultimately

Enjoy those times and those freedoms in those moments

And that's why we worked so hard to do that. So
