Youtube daily have Apr 26 2017

welcome to another financially fabulous

episode I'm Limor and I gotta tell you you

do not need to be a financial planner to

be crushing it with your finances I'm

not in today's episode I've got my good

friend Jessica Moorhouse here and we're

gonna be talking about the best tips for

budgeting come on this will be fabulous

I've got my good friend here Jessica

Moorhouse from JessicaMoorhouse.com

budgeter podcaster youtuber and I'm

super excited to have you here we're

talking about some budgeting awesome

awesome so you're doing lots in the

space tell everybody just a little bit

about you sure so a quick little bio

about me so I am the host of the Mo' Money Podcast

a personal finance podcast and

I also blog about personal finance at

JessicaMoorhouse.com got my own YouTube

channel make sure to check it out well

Link it up below yes and I love talking

about money and specifically budgeting

it is one of my favorite topics that I'm

very excited to be here for this episode

yeah it's awesome that you're here

because as everybody knows I like to

talk about how to make more money and

while it's super important you gotta do

a good job of managing the money that

you actually have so super cool to have

Jessica here on the show today

absolutely so tell me a little bit

about your experience with budgeting and

how you came to like love the numbers

and how it works so much sure so I kind

of discovered budgeting budgets all that

kind of stuff when I first moved out of

my parents I was back in I think

2009-2010 and I had no idea what to do

with the money that i was earning and

the money i was earning it was going

away in a POOF and i had no idea what to

do so i started researching as you do

looking on YouTube and blogs and reading

books about personal finance and I kind

of realized the everyone kept on talking

about how important budgeting was it

sounds really boring to me but I'm like

okay I'm give it a whirl so I you know

opened up my excel spreadsheet I'm

started making my first budget and that

budget has evolved over time to what I

now call my crazy simple budget

spreadsheet they like to share with

everybody it is super simple obviously

and it's just a really great

roadmap to kind of put all of your money

data in there to give you an idea where

you can go with your money so one of the

things that I hear a lot is like

budgeting is like a icky or an ugly word

or like it's gonna take so long or so so

much time how much time do you spend

budgeting or keeping track your budget

every month well once you you know have

a budget once you kind of put all of

your stuff in there to go you really

only have to change when something

changes in your life your, you know

salary changes get a promotion you move

something drastic changes that's when

you have to update your budget otherwise

you pretty much stick to the same thing

same kind of thing month by month and

you've got kind of going on that way

exactly i say the the thing that may

take a little bit more time is tracking

your spending that's kind of another tab

of the budget spreadsheet that I like to

use so once a month have a little money

meeting with your partner or if it's just yourself

just hang out with yourself for now

I like to hang out with with myself have a glass

of wine. There you go now you

are married right I am do you do a

budget together with your husband or

gonna have your own how does that work

so yeah so when we we've been together

for 10 years and so at first it was

very separate and is he in all the spreadsheet he's done

he's not in all the spreadsheets

really he only came into the spreadsheet

situation once we got married okay and

he got in there um but even when we were

living together we kept everything

separate yeah sense financially and once

we married you know we moved here and he

kind of made the conscious decision okay

we still don't like pool all of our

money together that this doesn't work

for us we kind of do a separate but

together situation cool we'll talk about

now like that after because uh yeah I

like to talk about that but so give us

like your top three budgeting tips sure

okay so i would say number one if you

don't have one get started right away

the big reason why people you know get

into debt or run out of money and are

stressed about money because they don't

have a budget and for everyone who's

wondering what exactly is a budget it's

just a spending plan it is a plan a

guide to show you how to spend your

money and how to save it so that is the

number one too if everyone have one have

one okay haha number two is i would say

if you are in that

a couple relationship talk about it if

you know especially like if you were

like me and my husband we were living

together we did have lots of joint

expenses talk to them to see if they

want to kind of join up with you in the

budget or have separate ones but

basically open that communication so

they know that you're on the same page

and then I'm always super important when

budgeting with someone else and you have

expenses together alright so the third tip I have which is very important is

really monitoring your cash flow it's

great to have a budget but if you're not

using it and you're always going over and

certain things you really need to look

at okay what's the real reason I'm going

over which is a big reason why you need

to track for spending it will probably be

very evident that you're like okay

you're spending too much on eating out

you're spending too much on

entertainment you need to cut that cable

so you really want to make sure that

your budget aligns with your needs and

your want it has to be realistic for it

to work but you also have to kind of

look at your spending to see how to make

your spending work with your budget

awesome those are really great tips so

that brings us to our tweetable today

think of your budget as a way to

actually get what you want what I love

about what jessica is saying is that

it's it's about really figuring out what

it is that you want to spend your money

on in your life and then a budget will

allow you to allocate your money to

there rather than just spending all over

the place and then not having any money

to do the things that you really want to

do right so our challenge for you guys

today is to download Jessica's my simple

crazy budget which we've got linked up

below and won't we'd love for you guys

to test out is creating a budget so do

it for one month put in all the

information track it for that one month

and just see how you go so hopefully you

learn something this video and if you

did give me a favor and subscribe to my

channel I've also got Jessica's channel

linked up below so make sure you go on

over and hit subscribe on her channel

other things so we'll link those up for

you below and if you're looking for even

the same they feel like it's like

slacked a little you guys like aim thing

yeah okay

when you turn you know how I want a

stunt race it puts you in that like

stunts view like when you do a jump or

something like kind of slow it feels

like it's doing that but you can't see

the circle in time

dang it you're not passing me stressing

me damn it he got it yeah

oh I keep having people join up and

watch another live stream but then they

leave like someone will join someone to

leave

so it's interesting but I guess

everybody's watched it already it's all

good though I just wanted to be on my

channel yeah there's a second if there

is your girlfriend so this time Lee I'm

telling you I gotta make her her own

detail

hey Jojo I got a comment on there though

when you guys are done can you read me

booth give me a boost sucker I had to go

off the edge yeah

screw it we can't let him win again go

thinks so I mean I wouldn't win oh no oh

people on there commenting I got one of

the my new subscribers or recent

she go to my channel yeah I think one of

them goes I think one of them did I

checked your subscribers I think they

actually did they came from they liked

one of your videos and then they

subscribe to me so I think they did

subscribe to you too buddy all right

we'll do maybe like one or two more of

these if you guys feel like it and then

maybe go do a quick little rampage in a

lobby for one second then I'll probably

go ahead and end it after thats no one

has to get bored with the live stream I

know some people like longer ones some

people don't like long ones but I don't

want to make it too boring so we'll just

do like a little bit

Don't you dare do that.

Mama, please, I'm just--

I feel so powerless.

Would you just let me go? - Powerless?

I HAVE GAIN 32000 VIEWS TO MY CHANNEL IN 8 DAYS- 4/25/2017 I GUESS YOUR WONDERING HOW I DID THAT - Duration: 7:41.

hey guys I'm back um I just want to go

over some things with you um I side of

this channel nine days ago and I already

received 32,000 views my highest arm

viewed video was a cat video and i'm

going to show you that now okay with my

cat video

I was probably better off just going

into my video manager I got 32,000 views

as you see

loading slowly okay

twist on the next page okay here we go

I'm on April eighteenth i receive

nineteen thousand views on my tenth

video um I primarily do a video reviews

um but for the most part i also do fun

videos too and then i do a little bit of

off topic videos because you sometimes

have to switch stuff like this video

here but it didn't do all that well and

then I did a second cat video and this

one got two girls in 391 but to prove to

you that I had 32,000 views currently

let's go into my channel

okay i have 29 subscribers and as of it

says right here you might not be able to

see it I have 32 thousand lifetimes

views all you know that I've made uh you

know the last nine days now let me

explain this channel that I started I um

had a main channel it got shut down I'm

market I'll get into that in another

video and so seven no nine days ago I

said seven nine days ago I went to my

second channel with which I if you look

on social blade it says the channel was

created in 2015 but when you have a

second channel that you don't use link

to your first channel which was the one

that got shut down the first channel it

will say on social blade the year that

you created a YouTube and Gmail account

arm because both of them go hand to hand

google and youtube anyways they make a

long story short going back into video

manager so I cannot explain to anymore

um I started the second channel I made

did three videos on it i think in

February of 2017 then I was like well

I'm doing so well on my other channel

even though I was cutting corners um I

said I don't want to make any videos on

my second channel is just too much work

so in okay here it is februari 26 2017

that was my first video about 59 views

second one got 39 and then I made this

male armed pic showing all different

style nails it got 51 views and then

on April seventeenth so 18 19 20 21 and

23 24 25 so in eight days I received

32,000 views and I don't have that many

subscribers but I have armed 29

subscribers which I can show you that

here is my subscribers up near we

picture that in your name of your

channel I have 29 subscribers so again

it is possible if you correctly um put

your guns in light and um monetize your

channel and you know all that great

stuff that you can you can give views in

eight days nothing is impossible if you

stay tuned to my daily video sometime I

can make up to 10 videos you can learn

each day how to get your arm rankings up

so that your views can grow like this is

the last video I did and all of my tags

are ranking number one arm and search

and except for this tag is number three

and then if you want to go inside of the

video I can go into edit this is the

last video i did at two or three today

arm on april twenty fifth if you look

here I maximize I didn't do all five

thousand description words inside of my

tie on description area but I did 3163

words inside the description and on let

me sort these tags because there's one

that's three is the number three there's

a tag that's ranking 3 all these all

ones so we can Auto sort them doesn't

matter if you ought to show them but I

just like you to look nice for google in

youtube um so anyways when they read it

so all these tags are raised on number

one in search and then this one comes in

on number three um if you keep up making

your videos and all your tags a hit

right on arm you get more on pay

on youtube in Google and that's how you

start seeing those channels at in eight

months they get like six million views

in one month and then they made it and

it's time to make like twenty thousand a

month that's how you do it is fraught

with maximizing the tag you can't just

put any towns in there you have to put

super targeted tag inside of your tagged

you have to get a software that arm

basically basically gives you an

indicator of the ranks of the tags if

you don't know if you don't have an

indicator that tells you the arm doesn't

tell you where the arm tags on rank arm

in your art as area how are you going to

know is the factory so you need to find

a free software that tells you where

your tabs are ranking because the big

size is not ranking when you first

upload a video excuse me my neck is so

stiff arm you need to get them out of

here because it no help to you rain tags

don't bring views that's just as simple

as that but again i received 30,000

32,000 views in eight and eight in eight

days okay i'm a bad Nana JAMA but i'm ok

i'll see you in the next video um bye

for now

Why Successful People Don't Have Multiple Streams of Active Income — T. Harv Eker - Duration: 4:30.

I went through 12 different businesses..

What I didn't mention was that I

actually had four businesses at one time.

I had a line of novelty t-shirts that

was actually going pretty well and

then a friend of mine he showed me

these very unusual hats. They actually had

stuffed animals on them and they were

very very cool. They were fun and he said,

"Hey Harv you know you're already going

out there. You're already visiting all

these shops. Why not carry this line of

hats and and show them this line too.

You can then pass by some schools and

the university's you know and clubs

and you're gonna double your income!" You

know what I said? Sounds good! And what did I do? I

got into the hats business as well.

Short while later, I discovered this

really really cool line of jewelry. I

said to myself, "Hey I'm already out there

on the road. Maybe I can stop in to some

jewelry stores and sell them this line

and I could earn even more money." A

few weeks after that another friend

shows up and and he shows me he's doing.

He have these coupon books, coupon books.

And these coupon books gave people

discounts on all sorts of things. You've

probably seen them. You can actually save

thousands and thousands of dollars if

you use them and they only cost

thirty bucks. So what do you think I said?!

You know what, I'm already on the road

and I'm meeting all these people. I'll

just show them the coupon books and now

I'll REALLY be making a fortune! And

besides, you know what's going on in my

mind? I also thought in the back of my

mind. That if I had more than one

business, it would be safer. It would take

the risk out of it. You know and it would

assure me of some kind of success

because I always had a backup in case

something else didn't work. So what was

the result of all this? Well I went from

doing pretty decent to completely broke

again!! I couldn't understand it. How could

more be less? And that's because, at the

time, I didn't understand something

called energy. Bottom line. It takes an

enormous amount of energy to get

something going especially at the

beginning. Let me give you an example.

Imagine a rocket launching.

okay? And imagine all the power that

it takes to get this thing off the

ground. Obviously all the thrusters have

to be facing in the same direction the

same direction. Especially at the

beginning, for the rocket to escape

earth's gravity. Yes or yes? Now imagine

for just a moment, one of the thrusters

let's say it's got three thrusters

facing down boom. Right? One of the

thrusters was facing outward

instead of directly down? Those facing

outward. Let me ask a question. What would

happen? Simple, that rocket would go BOOM!

Crash and burn. Why? Because it takes

massive energy! A thousand! A thousand

percent focus in one, ONE direction for

the rocket to launch successfully! You know

what? Same in your business! It takes

everything you've got! Every resource.

Every ounce of energy at your disposal,

to launch successfully. And what did broke

Harv do? I dissipated my energies. I

scattered my resources. I did not focus

and I crashed. "But Harv, if you notice,

most rich people including yourself have

all kinds of things going on. They got

several businesses. They got real estate

holdings. Stocks! They're diversified. Okay

I get it. Let me say this loud and clear.

Please. Yes it's true. Rich people well

they're usually diversified.. ONCE they

are rich! But you do not. I repeat do NOT

get rich by being diversified. You get

rich by being focused! Laser focused.

I Have Questions , Things to Tell You and I Received my New Lights! - Duration: 6:58.

today I have some questions for you!

I realize I don't ask you these questions

often enough and today I have two

questions that I'd like you to

answer. You can use the comment section

down below and I will try and read you all

and even though I don't reply to

each comment I will certainly take notes.

Question number one: I would like to know

what kind of content you enjoy to see

the most or would like to see on my

channel? Would you like more Q&A s?

Maybe you would like to see me do some

partnerships with other youtubers, other

creators on YouTube that are in the

cosmetic and soap making business?

More reviews? I love to review soap-making

gear, tools and equipment and if you have

a business where you make or sell soap making

tools you can certainly write me

a private message via my email or via my

facebook page and I'd be happy to review

those for you. But as my viewers I would

like to know if that's something you

enjoy? Do you prefer cold process or you

would like me to make more cosmetic

videos: creams, lotion, bath bombs or things

like that, so please comment below and I

will take notes and try to answer the

most popular subjects. Question number two:

I would like to know if watching my

channel is helpful for you? I would like

to know if it has impacted your life? Did

I help you start making soap? Did I

motivate you? Was I an inspiration for

you to start making your soap or

starting your own business? I talk to you

a lot and I show you many things but

usually the conversation is one way... Of

course you get to write to me in the

comment sections below but I don't

really ask you questions often enough

and I think that is something that I

should do more often. Here's your

opportunity to tell me if I've been

helpful to you in the past with my videos

and what could be helpful in the future.

So please, comment below. I get many many

requests for help and support and sadly

it is just too overwhelming for me to

individually answer everyone. When I have

time or if you happen to pop in at the

right moment, sometimes I'll answer and

I'll try to help people. It's not always

possible and I want to tell you that I do

see all of your messages but sometimes I

just don't have the time. I have three

little kids, they are all under the age of

six: my youngest is 18 months now. I don't

sleep full nights yet, so my priority of

course is my family and then my

job and you guys. Sometimes I try to

address some of the questions in my

videos without specifically saying:

I'm answering this or that question. I

would like to start making live videos

and if you guys log into one of my live

videos I would be happy to answer your

soap and cosmetic related questions or

business questions I can also answer

Facebook tips and tricks or YouTube and

you know things like that because I do

have people writing me asking me for

other kind of advice and then soap

making because obviously I'm a

lot online everywhere and people are

looking for help and support and

sometimes they reach out to me for that

too. I'm gonna try and have my first

youtube live streaming very soon so if

you want to know about that, you should

hit the subscribe button down there if

you aren't already subscribed and hit the

BELL button because the bell button will

notify you when I make a new video. When

I go either live or when I post a new

video and then you can be among the

first to know about it. You can also join

my patreon campaign and people have

access to my videos 24 hours before

everybody else because I always give

them private links one day ahead. Another

way for you to help support my Youtube

channel is by going over to my web store

and purchasing some soap! That is

actually the very number one best way to

support me! As a soap maker my job is to

make and sell soap and my business is

only open to the public, the foot traffic,

in the summer season here which is very

touristic on the islands and I'm only

open three-four months a year. The

big months are like July and August so

the rest of the year I rely on online

sales. If you want to help me, go over

to my website, the link is below, I'm

gonna write it down here and that is

what you can do to help support me!

Follow me everywhere! I will try and

tweet and Instagram, etc...

information about my first live

streaming. I'm a little bit stressed

about that because I've never done a

live streaming with such a big following!

Because you deserve it I will do it.

Can you see something in my eye? Look at that!

I got a ring light! Here are my lights

that I just received. I haven't done any

videos with them until now. This is a

newer... Neewer? Neewer??? I don't know what it's

called or I know what it's called but I

just don't know how to pronounce it!

This one I really love it's very small,

but it's pretty powerful. It's dimmable

and it goes pretty bright. It is

battery-powered so no cord is attached

to this and their are actually rechargeable

batteries! So I don't need

to continuously buy new batteries, I can

just recharge them. I got two batteries

and then here I have my ring light which

is probably going to be my new best

friend! It's very bright, very powerful. I

love it! It's pretty intense yeah? It's

also a dimmable light but I don't find

that the dimmer is that much... you can't

really... well you can tell but it's subtle!

And then this is my old light that I

already had but I just added this little

soft box on top of it which was actually

made for this one but I found that it

was a little loose on it and then I

would have a hard time reaching

the dimmer. So i just removed it. What

I really really love about these two

guys is actually their stands which

are on rolling casters so i can just

kind of move these around with ease and

with the small workshop that I work in,

its very practical and when I have my

new workshop, that's coming soon, these

will fit perfectly into my new video

making setup! So, pretty happy with these!

Say CHEESE! So I got a reflector that i'm

probably going to be using as my third

light and yeah mm-hmm I need to

figure out how I'm going to set this up

in this workshop which is very tiny and

still be able to actually work and make soap!

But once I move, this Fall, hopefully, I

will have plenty of room to make more

beautiful videos! I'm so happy! Hey thanks

again and I will see you very soon!

Japan warns citizens they only have 10 MINUTES to prepare for North Korea strike - Duration: 3:54.

Japan warns citizens they only have 10 MINUTES to prepare for North Korea strike

JAPAN has issued new guidelines preparing its citizens for a North Korean missile attack as tensions in the region remain at boiling point.

The Asahi Shimbun newspaper said it was the first time since the Second World War the government had instructed people how to respond to an enemy attack.

Three of the four missiles that North Korea launched on March 6 fell within Japan's exclusive economic zone in the Sea of Japan, the body of water that separates Japan and the Korean Peninsula.  North Korea later said that it was practicing to hit US military bases in Japan.

When a missile is launched from North Korea, it will not take long to reach Japan Japan civil defence department.

Tokyo said most people would get less than 10 minutes warning in the event of an attack but advises citizens to head for a strong building if there is time.

The official civil defence website has had 5.7 million visitors in the first 23 days of April — compared with usual monthly traffic of less than 400,000 hits.

Its frequent asked questions page states: "When a missile is launched from North Korea, it will not take long to reach Japan. "The ballistic missile launched from on February 7 last year took 10 minutes to fly over Okinawa."  .

But Osaka Mayor Hirofumi Yoshimura said that there would be almost no time to respond to a North Korean missile.

He told the Japan Times: "A missile may not be detected as soon as it leaves the launch pad and that could take several minutes.

"Depending on the case, the warnings and alarms might only sound four or five minutes before a missile arrives.  .

. Meanwhile, sales of nuclear shelters and radiation-blocking air purifiers have surged. A small company that specialises in building nuclear shelters, generally under people's houses, has received eight orders in April alone compared with six orders during a typical year.

The Asahi Shimbun said increased efforts to make contingency plans in response to growing public concern will also likely accelerate the government and the ruling Liberal Democratic Party's push for an upgraded ballistic missile defense system for the nation.

And an influential group of politicians is publicly arguing for pacifist Japan to acquire the ability to strike North Korea instead of relying on the US for its defence and has submitted a recommendation to the government to this effect.

Japan has installed PAC-3 surface-to-air missile launchers, used to engage incoming ballistic missile threats, at key sites in Tokyo.

Do I actually have a tattoo?? Natchan's Q&A Time! - Duration: 11:11.

yo!! Natalia natchan here!

sorry guys my voice is in bad shape

I've caught a cold or something

the other day I actually dj'd at a club called WOMB

and I was there all night and drinking..

and I think the smoke made my voice hurt a bit

so today I'll do my best

and the other day I asked for a couple questions... and got some pretty good ones

for those of you who aren't following me, PAUSE the video and follow me now!

please follow!

and now for the questions

asks

"please tell me your top 3 youtubers you want to collab with!"

oooh japanese youtubers

starting at 3

do ya'll know kumamiki?

I actually knew her before she started doing youtube

I knew her because she actually had her own fashion brand before

she's so cute. and i came to japan because of my love for the fashion

and I just love that cute fashion and style

she has creative and funny videos

so we might make a good collab

2nd. i think you've heard me mention them before but

I really love PDR and mimei

i like their personality

so before I knew about her youtube

I had met mimei at a friend named "beckii"'s birthday party

but I didn't really watch youtube

but now I watch her videos

as well as PDR

especially his conbini series

when my mom came to japan we watched them together and she was cracking up

the guys at the conbini are always saying the same thing

"understood"

and stuff like that, even though on the inside they're really pissed off

my mom gets that so it really made her laugh

and the last

the youtuber i most want to collab with

k e m i o

it's kemio! booo~~n!

ya'll know him, right?

I just love his energy.

the first one i ever saw he was trying on some mask, and his reaction was just amazing

his japanese is so funny

so now to study japanese i watch his videos

kumamiki, bacouple(PDR and Mimei), and Kemio

i wanna collab with them!

that was long, let's go to the next one

asks

what music artists do you like other than Japanese ones?

so my favorite artist is actually american

and you can't see now but

yeah you've probably seen it before

her music is pretty quiet but

i like her and

they're not very known in japan.. maybe not in america either

a group called die antwoord

they're like a super cool techno group?

two of them rap

but the girl does it in this super cute voice

and i just love it

if you have time please check them out!

asks

what japanese food can you not eat?

i think i said so in a recent video, but there are a lot of foods i can eat

but if you asked me now.. I'd probably say "namako"

the gooey ones.

even just looking at it, it looks bad.

maybe if it looked better i could do it... but

not gonna happen.

asks

where should i walk if i want to meet you?

yeah so.. if i answer this directly... I feel like I'll get some kind of stalker..

well actually it's not like I leave the house.

besides school

ah! got it! you can come see me when I DJ.

(for your information, I will be playing this Saturday at Trump Room's "white rabbit" event)

please come for sure

asks

Does Missouri have anything to brag about?

duh! they have "Natalia Natchan"!!!

oh, besides that?

actually when i was little

The city of St. Louis in Missouri

was voted the most dangerous city in the USA

(missouri sucks)

guess that's not really something to brag about

oh. we have the baseball team. St. Louis Cardinals.

asks.

please tell me your thoughts on tattoos

Justing and Zayne have a ...... on their arm

(can't read the kanji)

are you planning on getting a tattoo as well?

since you have beautiful skin, I would hope that you don't get one

is what he asks

so....

so actually....

I think guys with tattoos are super hot.

girls and boys. it looks so good.

in Japan there is a bit of a bad image

but well.. I'm an american.

i think the way of thinking is a bit different.

so don't i have kind of a baby face?

when I was younger I loved that, but since I got older I'm kind of self conscious of it...

and I kind of wanted to seem like a badass so I thought "okay so I'll get a tattoo"

but for now, even if I wanted to get one idk what I would get

and if I want to model I don't think it's good to have one

so it's not really because "oh i have nice skin i don't want one"

now Ijust feel like there's no need for one

i guess

(a letter to justin bieber confession that I will marry him in the future and he just doesn't know it yet)

sorry i don't really know how to read this name

camellia asks

I'm always looking at the posters behind you! Please tell us about them!

is what she asks!

i get asked a lot!

so first of all, this is from nylon!

this is one of my favorite brands poster (brooklyn all day)

this is also nylon. it says "girl power"

this is ariana grande

and this is nylon, nylon, nylon

and actually this was actually in nylon too

somebody's art i think

and it's a pad.

sprinkles on top of a pad.

and why the hell is this here?

now I'm going to talk for a minute, but there's something I was surprised about when first coming to Japan

but when you buy pads or tampons, I noticed they don't put it in a regular bag, but in a brown paper bag.

and I guess it's because people don't want the fact that they're buying tampons to be known

and I was just like "doesn't everybody get periods? why is it such a big deal???"

girls are girls and we all have periods. it's not something shameful.

and so i guess that's what I was thinking when I put this up.

and the sprinkles are cute....

now a cute adorable youtuber has asked.

"how long have you been studying japanese? your japanese is so good!"

(heart. kiss emoji)

thank you!

since I was in elementary school I have been listening to Japanese music, so I think it helped me listen better.

and when I was in high school I took a Japanese class. (the teacher was american so it wasn't that great)

but it helped a bit

and then coming to Japan I went to a language school for 2 years

and that was the best

if the people around you don't speak it, it's really hard.

so I'd say, coming to Japan or making Japanese friends.

or talking with strangers on skype

asks

what was the most embarrassing thing to happen to you in Japan?

why would you ask this?

I've done about 100 most embarrassing things in Japan/

and in America

but the one i remembered just now

But since I grew up in Missouri I usually got around using cars.

and I didn't have much train experience

and there was one time i bought a coffee from starbucks before riding the train

and i brought the coffee on the train

and i was standing in front of somebody sitting down

and the train just jerked really hard out of nowhere

and my coffee spilled a bit... on the person in front of me

and I was like "omg im sorry im sorry im sorry" in english and japanese like a million times

and everyone was staring at me so hard I thought I was gonna die

it wasn't just the person, but everybody was staring at me like

like "bitch what you doin?"

I felt so awful

but since then I've never brought coffee on the train again.

and that's about it

thank you guys for your questions!

and I realized that I have way more followers on youtube than on instagram!

so please follow my instagram as well!

so please like and subscribe!

Witnesses to Double Execution in Arkansas Say Inmates May Have Suffered Botched, Painful Death - Duration: 13:20.

JUAN GONZÁLEZ: Arkansas carried out a double execution Monday night, marking the first

time in nearly 17 years that any state has killed two people on the same day.

At 7:20 p.m. local time, 52-year-old Jack Harold Jones was pronounced dead in the death

chamber at the Cummings Unit state prison.

Infirmary workers had spent more than 45 minutes unsuccessfully trying to put a central line

into his neck.

According to a court filing, during Jones's execution, he was, quote, "was moving his

lips and gulping for air," unquote, which suggests he continued to be conscious during

the lethal injection.

The controversial sedative midazolam is administered as part of a cocktail of execution drugs to

make prisoners unconscious, but it's repeatedly failed to do so during other executions, leading

to painful deaths.

Ahead of Monday night, Jones's lawyers had argued his medical condition was likely to

reduce the sedative's effectiveness, leading to an unconstitutionally painful death, but

this argument was rejected by a court.

Before being killed, Jones gave a long final statement in which he apologized to the daughter

of Mary Phillips.

Jones has admitted to raping and killing Mary Phillips in 1995.

His final words were "I'm sorry."

Lawyers for the second man, Marcel Williams, filed a last-minute appeal for a stay of execution

following Jones's killing, arguing Williams could also experience a botched, painful death.

A district court judge initially granted a temporary stay of Williams's execution but

then allowed the execution to go forward.

Williams was pronounced dead at 10:33 p.m.

He had been convicted and sentenced to death for the 1994 kidnap, rape and murder of Stacy

Errickson.

AMY GOODMAN: Monday night's executions came after legal challenges reached the U.S. Supreme

Court, which rejected a stay for Williams.

The only justice to dissent in this ruling was Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

The last double execution carried out in the U.S. was in 2000 in Texas.

Arkansas carried out its first execution in 16 years Thursday, killing Ledell Lee, and

plans to execute a fourth man, Kenneth Williams, this coming Thursday.

The state had initially planned execute eight people within 11 days this month—an unprecedented

rate of executions in modern U.S. history.

They wanted to perform these executions before the end of the month, when midazolam would

expire.

For more, we're joined via Democracy Now!

video stream by The Guardian reporter Ed Pilkington, who has been following the executions closely

with local reporters on the ground.

Ed, welcome back to Democracy Now!

You have a witness statement on the execution.

Can you explain—there were two—what the witness saw?

ED PILKINGTON: Yeah.

We worked with Jacob Rosenberg, who is a reporter for Arkansas Times.

He was in the death chamber for the second execution last night, of Marcel Williams.

And a very interesting account, I think, really important part of it—there are two things,

really.

One, because of the court's stay that happened for Marcel Williams, while the judge considered

what had happened to the first prisoner to die, Jack Jones, Marcel Williams was kept

strapped to the gurney the entire time.

Now, we don't quite know when that began.

It's probably around something like 8:00 p.m. last night.

And he was pronounced dead at 10:33.

So, for maybe longer than two-and-a-half hours, this 400-pound prisoner was kept strapped

to a gurney, which I think is fairly disturbing in itself.

The other thing that came out of our eyewitness report is that there's a sort of missing

half an hour.

Now, the media—the three media witnesses were kept held in a van while this—the delay

was happening because of the court proceedings.

They had a little window at the back of the van that they could look out the back of.

They saw Marcel Williams being taken out to the bathroom and then brought back.

He was brought back at about 9:29.

The execution began at 10:16.

We don't know anything about what happened in that period.

And I think that's important and will continue to be important, and it's because of the

secrecy that the death penalty states have imposed on the entire process of execution.

The media witnesses were only allowed to see when the curtain was opened and the execution

began.

They were not allowed to see the crucial period in which IV lines were tried to be found.

And that was a problem that we had in the Jack Jones execution earlier in the evening.

The state, by its own admission in court filings, admitted that they tried to find an IV line

in the prisoner's neck and failed.

And this is precisely the kind of problems that have come up time and time again, with

Clayton Lockett, the gruesome execution in Oklahoma where he writhed for 43 minutes on

the gurney—that was down to an IV line that couldn't be found—and in Arizona, the

Wood execution, where they tried—they stuck him 15 times and injected him 15 different

times, because they found it so difficult to find a vein.

So, I think we're starting to see the same old problem emerge yet again: secrecy, the

fact that the public cannot see what's being done in its name when prisoners are being

killed, leading to problems in the process.

JUAN GONZÁLEZ: And, Ed Pilkington, what are the requirements in terms of the public's

ability to view this, or the witnesses, at least, who are there, who are permitted to

see the execution, being able to witness the entire process?

ED PILKINGTON: Well, that's the problem.

Like so much to do with the death penalty, it's down to each individual state.

But there is something in common here.

And that is, all the death penalty states, all sort of nine or so of them that are still

being—actively trying to pursue the death penalty, have taken the same line, which is,

we should let the public know as little as possible.

So they don't let us know the members of the execution team.

Now, maybe that's understandable, because, you know, the executioners could face harassment.

But they won't let us know who manufactures the drugs they use or where they got them

from.

And that's problematic because we don't know, you know, were these drugs sort of knocked

up in a corner shop.

They have tried that in the past.

And now they're fighting over how much the public can see in the process.

And in Arkansas, they went to extraordinary lengths to make our job difficult as reporters—and

I'm one of them.

To start with, they wouldn't even allow us laptops into the media room, where we were

watching if we weren't in the death chamber.

Now, this is just a visiting room.

We're not anywhere near the death chamber.

We're not a security issue.

We weren't allowed laptops, to start with.

They consented on that in the end, but we weren't allowed telephones in the room.

And in the end, they only allowed reporters to take in notepads and pencils supplied to

them by the prison service, as though there was something like a reporter would carry

in their own notebook that would do something subservient or something.

And the whole process has like been a battle between the media, which is the eyes and ears

of the public, and the prison service, that, after all, is doing the most serious thing

that any state can do, and that is to kill one of its own citizens.

AMY GOODMAN: I wanted to ask you, Ed Pilkington, about the deputy solicitor general, named

Nicholas Bronni, who admitted in a court filing the execution team had tried to place a central

line in Jones' neck, but the attempt was unsuccessful.

Talk about the significance of this and what happened next, and that leading to the lawyers

for the next man, Marcel Williams, trying to get a stay on his execution, so he would

not be tortured as he was killed.

ED PILKINGTON: Right.

And, I mean, when I saw that in the court filing coming from the state itself, I was

astonished.

They were trying to rebut the case made by the lawyers for the second prisoner to be

executed, Marcel Williams, that the first execution had been botched.

That's what essentially was going on.

And in order to rebut that argument, the state said, "No, everything was fine.

Look, we tried to find an IV line in Jack Jones', the first prisoner's, neck, and

we failed.

And then we went on.

We actually decided not to use a third IV line.

We would just use two."

Now, they made that argument as though that showed that the whole process had been a success,

which I found rather astonishing when I read it in the court filing.

Then we went on to the Marcel Williams execution, the second one.

We don't know, as I say, what happened in half an hour when they were trying to find

an IV line.

We know nothing about that at all.

What we do know, from The Guardian's work with the Arkansas Times and the reporter who

was in the room for us, Jacob Rosenberg, that Marcel Williams was seen to do—once he was

sedated with midazolam—which, you have to remember, is a sedative, it's not an anesthetic,

which is—it is not used in operations to put people under before surgery.

It is just used to relax them.

So it's an entirely inappropriate medicine for use in surgeries, and you might, therefore,

say inappropriate for use in executions.

They gave him the midazolam.

He relaxed.

He started to breathe very heavily.

Now, our reporter from the Arkansas Times saw him rise up and down.

His back arched countless times.

He actually lost count of the number of times his back arched.

This lasted over just a relatively short period of time, for about five, six minutes, compared

with some of the really botched executions we've seen, say, of Clayton Lockett, which

was 43 minutes.

But nevertheless, it suggests that maybe the prisoner was experiencing difficulty.

And again, will we ever find out anything more about that?

There is no indication that Arkansas carried out an official inquiry into what happened.

Often it takes months, if at all, to see the internal results of their own inquiries.

The whole process is shrouded in secrecy, and it makes it very, very difficult for the

media and for the public to assess exactly what happened.

JUAN GONZÁLEZ: And, Ed Pilkington, you're the chief reporter for The Guardian US.

Briefly, in the few moments we have left, could you tell us what's the response in

Britain and in Europe, in general, to this continuing obsession in the United States

with executions?

ED PILKINGTON: Well, it's been very widespread coverage and quite a lot of anger and dismay.

I mean, it comes at a time when the world had been thinking that the death penalty was

receding, was on the wane in the U.S.

Last year, there were only 20 executions.

And it has been going steadily down.

Then, suddenly, a Republican governor in Arkansas decides that he needs, for his own reasons,

all to do with the supplies of medicines, nothing else—for his own reasons, he needs

to execute eight prisoners in 11 days.

And, bam, the whole thing is back.

And Europe and Britain are incensed again.

And here we are, talking about it all over again.

AMY GOODMAN: Finally, Ed Pilkington, what happens next?

I mean, for people to understand, who are watching this around the globe, the reason

there are what they call these doubleheader executions now in Arkansas, to—they attempted

to kill—some were stopped in the killing—eight men in 11 days, was to hit that deadline by

the end of the month, when the—one of the execution drugs, midazolam, expires by the

end of the month.

So, who's on—who is on the list next to be killed?

ED PILKINGTON: Well, we've got one more execution coming up this Thursday in Arkansas.

And then, sort of the battle continues.

You have to say that the death penalty states are waging a losing battle here, because the

drug companies are now absolutely in unison.

They do not want their drugs, which are designed and manufactured to save lives—they do not

want those drugs used to kill people.

They're all saying it.

More than 30 of the major manufacturers are now saying that.

Distribution companies are also saying that.

They do not want this to happen, and they are making it incredibly difficult for prison

services to find the drugs.

And as a result, the prison services are doing more and more extreme things, with more and

more botched executions.

And, you know, it feels to me like the whole thing is falling apart.

AMY GOODMAN: Well, Ed Pilkington, we want to thank you for being with us, chief reporter

for The Guardian US, after what they call a doubleheader, a double execution, in Arkansas

last night.

It hasn't happened in this country since 2000.

This is Democracy Now!, democracynow.org, The War and Peace Report.

When we come back, Donald Trump is approaching his hundredth day as president, but there

are a group of people who are calling for a third party and pushing Bernie Sanders to

run.

Stay with us.

It's every woman's right... do men wear headscarves, too? No, or do they?

It's every woman's right to wear whatever she likes, that's my opinion on the matter.

By the way, not only muslim women - any woman can wear a headscarf...

and if it goes on like this - and with that I'm at the next question, the actual rampant islamophobia -

there will come a day when we will have to ask all women to wear a headscarf - ALL! -

out of solidarity towards those who do it for religious reasons.

Do Christians Have To Give? - Duration: 3:43.

The Bible says in the book of 1 John chapter 3 verse 16, "Hereby perceive we the love of

God, because He laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the

brethren."

Now, when this verse was translated, the words "of God" were not present in the original

text.

It would literally read, "This is how we perceive, or how we know and are able to recognize love."

God's name wouldn't even have had to have been mentioned back then.

And this is true for several different texts in the New Testament.

When a powerful statement was made, even with a pronoun like "he" it was understood that

their focus was so laser specific and that the gospel so permeated their lives that Almighty

God was the understood reference of almost every sentence.

This is how you'll know love and obviously God IS love.

In this chapter we'll also see that the world will hate you, and that shouldn't be a surprise.

Hate is the contrast to love.

The chapter says love shouldn't just be a word it should be done in deed and in truth.

And just like in John 3:16, here in 1 John 3:16 love is the product and giving is the

wrapping paper.

The package.

You know it's easy to see what I love based on what I lay down.

And as a culture, we love a lot of things.

We'll lay money down for vacations.

We'll lay our time down for television.

We'll lay our family down for athletics.

When it comes to life, everything is an exchange based on what you really value.

Or what you love.

Everything we experience from the things we touch to the things we taste involve giving

up something for something of varied value or what we consider to be of equal value.

So, God answers a question here in 1 John 3:16, "how do we know what we love?"

Well, by seeing what we lay down our life for.

And to convey the love of God you have to be filled with the God of love.

He laid down his life and we ought to do the same for the brethren.

Now, the brethren, that's the church.

This might be a stretch for some of you, but when I read "lay down our lives for the brethren,"

I not only think about the local church now, but about the souls who have not yet been

born into the family of God.

The people who are my future brethren.

So let me ask you a question.

Can you truly say that you are laying your life down?

Like, are you willing to sacrifice your preference in order to prioritize another person's soul?

Are you regularly assisting those in need?

Or could it be said that you don't hardly associate with those type of people?

You know, if we are going to experience growth both deep and wide, as individuals and individual

parts of a much more important body, our lives should be centered on sacrifice.

Because we are never more like God than when we give.

Everything in life is an exchange.

Christ asks in Mark 8, "what would a man give in exchange for his soul?"

Then he follows that up in verse 38 by saying, "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me

and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man

be ashamed..."

So, let me ask you a question this week.

Share this video and comment below: How would our churches - how would our communities - and

how would our country look a whole lot or even a little bit different if the hallmark

of every Christian's life was not how much we could get, but rather how much we could

give?
